is it possible to create 30 pieces of content in just 24 hours with the demand of video content at an all-time high right now it's no wonder that videographers are feeling overwhelmed by just how much content that needs to be created the one benefit here is that all of the social media platforms seem to have sort of lined up and all decided that vertical 9x16 video is king So this means that you can create content for one platform and repurpose it across all of the platforms but I think it all starts with the strategy figuring
out the proper strategy for creating this content is what's really going to help you save time and the next step to that is simplifying it so I've come up with a strategy of creating six different types of content and making multiple variations of those content in order to get myself to that 30 number so I'm going to be using canva because it is probably the most easiest way to create social media content and again the key to this strategy is Simplicity we've got got six different pillars of content to make so let's hop into it
so the first vertical video we're gonna make is a tweet video now the benefit of a tweet video is it's like taking all the benefits of Twitter and bringing it over into video it brings on a ton of additional engagement and when it comes to editing it inside of canva it couldn't be easier so for starters we're just going to hop into canva and we're going to go ahead and pull up our mobile video editor now there is actually already a template pre-made for this which I'm going to go ahead and click on to get
us started and then from there it's really easy I'm going to grab this image because I need to replace the little icon here and I'm gonna just look for a vertical video that I can use as a background video now canva is an awesome resource and as you can see there are tons of videos here I typed in drones and so not only am I going to get like shots of drones but I'm going to get drone shots and I think I like this one right here and then now I'm going to drag this into
be my new background video one of the benefits of canva is that they do have some pre-made videos that you can use so I'm going to just continue to make some adjustments here I'm going to edit some of this stuff here and now this is actually one of my favorite areas when it comes to the Tweet video is you can ask some really engaging questions like for example on this one I'm going to type in what is the best camera of all time wrong answers only and one of the things I like about these Tweet
videos is that when you do this you get some really great engagement you get a chance to learn a lot about your audience on social media and so the nice thing is that you can just make as many of these as you like I'm also going to go in here and I'm going to make some uh edits to not only the text so I'm going to make it not move but then I'm also going to go into my video my background video and I'm gonna edit it a little bit now obviously they do have some
different pre-made presets but I personally am just going to go in here and just manually make some of these adjustments this because personally I think the background video is a little too bright so I'm going to darken this up just a hair and boom just like that I'm done I like how this looks it's a great tweet video and the nice thing is that I can easily make up to five ten of these in an hour and it won't take a lot of time and there we go we have five quick pieces of content already
done now you might be wondering why canva why editing canva not use a professional editor well there's a few main reasons one with all the built-in templates it just makes the process super easy you don't have to think about creative canvas templates kind of do that heavy work for you and as I mentioned already when it comes to creating short form vertical video I don't want to spend that much time on it but I do want it to still have a professional look and personally I think canva allows me to do that now canva is
actually free but there is a pro version and if you want to take advantage of some of those Pro features well you can do so absolutely free as well you can sign up for a 45 day free trial to check out canva Pro one awesome new feature is background remover so in your effects tab you can literally just select a button and canva will remove the background from your video just use the link down in the description to sign up and check it out the next type of video we're going to be making here is
gear versus the shot and so for this I'm going to be just repurposing some old content so I've got some nice behind the scenes video that I'm going to just bring in here and you can see I can easily just resize this video in order to make it work and then just like any other editor I can just simply grab my clips and just start bringing them down and the nice thing about canva is that you can just upload any video files that you have on your computer and it's pretty straightforward so I'm just literally
clicking finding these clips that I already predetermined that I wanted to use and I'm going to just drag these in their place for this one I'm not going to be doing any transitions or anything crazy like that but I do want to get a nice cool text font to put on here because yeah idea of this post is sort of a before and after I'm going to be showing the gear that I'm using here and I'll go ahead and type that in um and then I'm gonna be kind of like showing that versus the actual
shot so with this first one you can see the gear here here's another one I'm just going to copy and paste this onto the second clip and then I'm gonna go to my after which is the shots that we got from this I'm gonna paste that in I'm gonna just go in here and I'm actually going to adjust that really quick so now it's the gear versus and now we have the shot and then I'll copy that here and I can paste it onto the second clip okay so just like that I have the gear
versus the shot and again this is all just being edited right here in canva I'm not using any of their templates on this one this is just a simple just grab a couple Clips add them to the timeline add my text and I'm done now I can go here download this one and there's a simple behind the scenes kind of a gear versus the shot really easy second pillar of content done you know one of my favorite things about creating short form vertical videos like this is how easily you can repurpose it I mean as
we already know YouTube has announced that they're going to be monetizing shorts Tick Tock has said they're doing the same thing Instagram is trying to figure it out and once Instagram does we can rest assure that Facebook's gonna do it so by creating tons of batch content just like this and being able to multi-purpose it across all the different platforms I think that it makes it worth it to put in the time to do something like this and that's what exactly what we're going to do with this next piece of content which is an easy
one especially if you're a videographer and it's just by stacking now I'm I'm actually going to be using one of the pre-made templates here that's just going to make my process so much easier literally it's just a pre-made template and I'm just going to drag three different clips into this pre-made template so I didn't have to make this from scratch canva did all the hard work I'm just gonna reap the benefits of using it so I can see already that this is looking pretty good I like this because the video clips I chose show kind
of a before and after but I do want to change the text in here so I'm just going to just kind of change this up to make it something clever this is actually inspired by something else I already saw on Instagram so I'm going to click and drag this down here perfect and so now just with a matter of dropping in three clips and changing some text I've got something that already looks really cool because canva has all these pre-built-in templates it really does make your life that much easier when it comes to creating short
form vertical video now this next piece of content is actually what I call the repurposed content and this comes from taking a long form video and making it shorter so in here I'm actually going to be repurposing an old podcast episode that I did not too long ago and I liked the template that I had on the last one so I'm going to try to find another one I think they have one that's like specifically for podcasts I was doing some research on in the past so yeah so there's a ton of podcast stuff in
here I like this one because it has the waveforms on it so I'm gonna grab it I'm gonna grab one of my podcast clips and I'm gonna go ahead and just bring this in and one of the benefits is you can see like even though the video is still uploading I can actually go ahead and bring it in and start editing it even though it's not done finishing upload so that's really nice I'm going to delete the video background that was already here bring mine in and I'm actually going to bring up my timing animation
for the text because the text is kind of crossing my face here so I'm just going to click and drag and pull this back and just like any other editor you can see that I can make this adjustment and have this text come in when I wanted to and have it go out as I need it and then I'm going to just change the text here change my font just fix that up real quick and I need a graphic to tell people to turn the audio on so let me see if I can find one
of those uh it's black but I can easily change that over to White perfect so yes if you ever have like any type of content where there is audio it is good to have like some type of animations to just show people that there is audio going on and so just like with the text I'm going to just adjust the timing on that graphic coming on screen and as you can see there are tons of animations that you can choose from but I'm going to just choose a very simple one because I really want what
I'm saying to be the number one focus of this video so yeah that's pretty much it this one's fairly straightforward what again with the template being here it's not that complicated I'm just gonna really just reuse the template add in my own Clips change the text around there we go we got another pillar of content done all right so this next piece of content that we're gonna create is honestly the easiest one that you can do and it is literally just showing the process I think a lot of times as creators we want to make
something new but personally I think if you just show the behind the scenes content that can make for some amazing vertical video and with the help of a lot of these templates on canva it's actually making my job like super easy at first I thought I was gonna have to come up with all this like creative as far as like what I want the you know different pieces of content to look like and figure out color schemes and all that stuff and honestly canva did all the hard work so it's going to make my job
a whole lot easier but I did find and this really cool template in here that I liked and I want to go ahead and ah actually you know what I think I like this one a little bit better so this is a different one um but the nice thing about canva is you can customize all the templates yourself so it's fairly easy all right so yeah this one looks really good I'm gonna actually go ahead and grab some behind the scenes video that I have stored on my computer and you're probably realizing a theme here
when it comes to creating like social media content short form content personally I just love to repurpose old content it just makes the job that much easier you don't have to create something brand new and as you guys know with this channel I shoot a lot of behind the scenes of the jobs that I'm doing so it's just kind of really easy for me just to go ahead and just repurpose a lot of this pre-existing BTS content so I'm just go ahead and grab these through and with the help of all these templates making my
life that much easier it already has like text where it needs to be everything is nice and framed for vertical and this is something that you really should take advantage of there's no reason to reinvent the wheel when it comes to creating vertical content at the end of the day people are passively watching they're looking for just little blimps of you know dopamine while they're con while they're scrolling through the different platforms and so I just want to create something that is engaging that shows them something interesting and something that they can easily learn from
and so with just a couple quick little drag and drops here I can easily do this here and you know what for this video I typically don't add music because you can add music through the apps themselves but for this one here I actually do want to add my own songs so I'm gonna grab this song that I've downloaded and we're going to drag this in and just like with the text editor earlier you can make those adjustments to your audio and so I can easily just kind of click and drag and then I'm just
going to play this back really quick yep that looks great sounds great and now I just need to go ahead and download it okay so it's been kind of a long day um that last batch of videos kind of took a little bit longer than I expected but you know we're getting through it okay so for this last type of content pillar we're going to be creating something that's very video and text based now a lot of times it is good imagery that draws people in to check out the content but then it's the text
that provides the value and that's something that I really want to do with this content type so with this content type my plan is to find a awesome video that I shot and then make that the background and then add text over it with the settings that I was using I mean I know I'm sounding like a broken record here but I'm gonna grab a template from canva because it just literally makes my life that much easier and I'm gonna watch this clip back yeah this is definitely the clip I want to use so again
I'm going to just go ahead and drag that into place yeah it looks good all right so now I just need to go and adjust all of this Tech X now my plan again is to put in the camera and all of the settings that I actually used when I was shooting with this drone here and uh all of this footage here that I'm using in this case was shot by me when we went to San Francisco not too long ago but I do want to go ahead and add in the details of the actual
camera itself now on this one here there are some effects that you can change so I am going to sort of adjust sort of the text a little bit here so that way you can actually see it and it'll pop off of the background just a hair I'm also going to change the font here as well and you have full control here so I'm actually going to adjust my line spacing as well because I want to put all of the settings that my camera was in so that way anyone who's watching this if they're thinking
about trying to get a shot like this for themselves they'll have an idea of like sort of the settings my camera was in perfect so I'm gonna go ahead and drop that and adjust that here I'm going to play it back and you can see the animation that I chose to go with on this one is typewriter so the text is literally typing out as the video is taking place and then you go so when I started trying to make these 30 pieces of content the goal was to make content that could be posted on
multiple different platforms and still maintain that vertical Tick Tock shorts reels aesthetic you know one of the nice things about being able to create so many different pieces of content for all the different platforms is that now the content is done with most of these platforms I can schedule them and just have them go live so I don't even have to think about the posting process but I will say that if you are trying to do this your strategy is key in my case I chose six different types of pieces of content and then I
created Five versions of each which allowed me to hit that 30 number your content might vary but it is the strategy that's gonna really help you and if you can simplify the process like using pre-made templates or keeping the content fairly basic but still engaging and entertaining then this is what's going to allow you to be successful and create the best content for your audience ends you know what I like about this is the content's done now I can just focus primarily on engaging with my audience and I've already thought through the value side of
what the audience is going to get but let me know what questions you have be sure to check out canva links Down Below in the description for that free 45-day trial sign up for the pro version and I'll catch you guys in the next video peace
