for every Amazon product you sell everything we are covering in this video is really important so I encourage you to stick it out until the end of the video if you've been thinking about starting you should absolutely take action today while watching this free course so the first thing we're going to do is sign up for Amazon Associates what you can do is just go to Google and search up Amazon Associates and you should just click on the first link or we'll have that link Down Below in the description as well so I'll click on

this here and what we'll do is click on sign up you can either sign in using your existing Amazon account or you can create your new account which I will do right here so now we're going to enter in our account information we'll click next after that we'll enter in our website and if you don't have a website yet no worries later on this video I'll show you exactly how to build an affiliate marketing website but for now I'll put a website that I currently have we'll click add then we'll click next now we'll put

our preferred associate store ID so do something like Charlie Chang after you have all that filled out we'll click finish and you'll get to this thank you page now something that's very important to know is that if you have not referred any qualified sales after 180 days then your application is basically withdrawn but don't worry later on this video I'll show you everything you guys can do to make make sure you get those sales and actually have your account be active so now you're going to enter in your payment and tax information so we can

click now you'll enter in your phone number so now what you want to do is click here to add your bank account and after that you're going to click update here to enter in your tax information if you click on home this is going to take us to the dashboard so when you start earning money it's going to show how much you're earning right here on this little graph it'll show your total commissions and it's going to have your summary for the month over here up here we have your promotions so things like the Amazon

Bounty program you have your different tools different reports like the earnings report and Consolidated summary and if you need help they have a help section as well I'm going to take you guys to one link which is really important this is basically going to allow you to start monetizing your International traffic so what we will do is Click get started here and we're going to add different countries so let's say we want to also sell in Canada and France we'll click next accept the terms and then click submit then we'll come here to onelink redirection

preferences click update and for each country I recommend setting it to close match make sure that's saved and you should be good so now if go to amazon.com at the top of the browser you'll see this tool called s strip this is really cool and basically what we can do is select any type of product so let's say we want this one if you come up here and click on text it's going to generate your affiliate link for you so I recommend using the short link because the full link is extremely long so just go

with the short link copy and paste this and that is basically the link that you're going to share with your friends so now is probably one of the most important sections of the video I'll show you how to create your affiliate marketing website this is extremely important to have because this is where you will be sharing your links to the public and later on the video I'll also show you guys what types of Articles to create and how to actually attct people to come to your website so if you go to the description down below

set up in your hosting or dashboard we'll click I'll create a website click next and for affiliate marketing I recommend going with WordPress because you need WordPress to use the Amazon Associates tool so we'll click on this click next we'll set up a password now this is important we'll select affiliate marketing site click next it's going to show you an affiliate marketing template for this video I'll just go with the default one but you can absolutely browse more templates if you want click next I recommend just using the recommended affiliate marketing plugins we'll go ahead

and click next to save some time I recommend using their AI tool cool so let's do something about yorkis we'll click next now we'll select our domain name let's go with Yorkies best.com click next make sure this information looks okay and we'll click finish registration we'll select our target audience click next and now it's going to install WordPress so I'm not going to show you exactly how to build a website in this video I have many other videos on my channel going through WordPress but I'm going to take you through the essential tools and the

AI writer to show you how you can generate amazing content quickly now that that's set up we'll click admin panel and this is basically where we are going to build our affiliate marketing site so the first thing you want to do is connect your Amazon Associates account and we'll click on this click on this button right here so you can either log into your Amazon associate dashboard here or just enter in your API information and you'll click connect Amazon account now one thing I do need to say is that to get your API you must

have completed three qualifying sales in 180 days have an approved associate account and comply with the operating agreement so these are super easy this one's going to take a little bit longer so if you cannot get your API right now that's totally okay you guys can do this step later but we'll click connect Amazon account here to use hosting to to actually write content let me show you how to use the AI content creator so what we'll first do is Select our content type we're going to select our tone of voice so you can actually

select multiple if you want and then we'll select our content length so let's go with something like medium let's do five things to buy your Yorkie before traveling you have the option to enter any Focus keywords you want to use I'll just let the AI pick those for me and we'll click create content so there you go it's generated our keywords for us it's created a meta description it's created an AI generated image as well and it's written our whole article for us so of course with affiliate marketing the content is King and so what

I recommend doing is go through this add your own spin to it don't just copy this article exactly but as you can see this has already saved us probably hours of our time and you can click edit as a draft to do your own touch-ups but for now I'll just click publish and now that means that this blog article has been posted to our website right now this is what our site looks like with minimal editing and as you can see that article we just created has popped up right here WordPress is extremely powerful you

can absolutely customize your website however you want but that's just one way that hostinger makes it way easier for you to generate content and build a professional looking website so once you're able to connect your Amazon account by meeting the requirements you'll be able to do this next section that I will briefly cover but if not just bookmark this video and come back to it later so once you've connected your account you'll see this API status as connected it's going to show you your partner ID right here and if you want to learn more about

the plugin you can actually click on this to learn first I'm going to show you guys how to to create a table collection so we'll click on this right here and we're going to click add new table from here we're going to name it so let's put something like Yorkie accessories click continue we're going to add the different products to be compared so you can either enter the Amazon standard identification number that's going to be entered through here or you can actually search for the product directly on Amazon so if you click on that one

let's look up yor accessory and let's say we want to do this one and let's do this one and let's do this one so we'll click confirm selection it's going to automatically find those identification numbers here we can add a highlight if we want so we can choose a color I'm just going to leave that as is we can also enter a text label too okay maybe I'll add a highlight just to show you guys what that looks like so let's do something like this we'll click continue here we'll add in the product data so

these are all standard and I think it looks okay so we'll click save changes so now we'll have the short code for this table if we come to our posts so let's go to the blog let's click on edit right here so now we're in the block editor and what we're going to do is let's say we want to come here and we want to add in this Amazon category right we'll click on this add block button click on link Amazon product and there are three options we have we have the single product card there's

the multiple product list and there is the comparison table so let me show you guys what a single product card looks like first so we'll click select it's going to ask us if we want to type in the Amazon standard identification number it's the product ID or we can actually search for the product on Amazon so I'm just going to do that right here by clicking on this let's type in York accessory let's choose to something like this and that is what it's going to look like so you can see there's a picture there is

the title there is the description and there is this buy on Amazon button this is automatically going to connect to your Amazon Associates account so if someone clicks on this button you will get that commission let me show you guys what the other blocks look like so let's click that click on link Amazon products again let's click on the multiple product list click select we can actually automatically generate this list based on best sellers or we can actually search manually for the products on Amazon so let's say we want to just do this just to

show you guys let's do yorky accessory we'll choose a layout so there's a list with description simplified list and horizontal cards let's do the simplified list for now click add best sellers and now you can see this is going to be that multiple table that we just created looks really good shows bestseller number one number two number three the title the price and yes this automatically updates it shows Prime shipping for the ones that have Prim shipping available as well as the buy on Amazon buttons and then let's see this last one comparison table we'll

go to that Yorkie accessories table configuration that we made earlier click continue and this is what it looks like so you can see the highlight color that I selected pink color this is what it looks like so you can either choose to have different colors for all three columns or you can just choose to have them all be white yeah this is a very great way to show comparison between multiple products for your audience this is how you actually get real conversions for your website because yes we can go in and make a link for

example this into a link put the Amazon Associates link here and when they click on that they will see that product or whatever but this is a much much better browsing and buying experience for your audience just these tables alone and this presentation creates a ton of value so that's why it's so important for you guys to get those first three sales connect to your Amazon account and then for your articles actually utilize this functionality all the prices sync again like I said earlier so basically you don't need to keep changing the prices and yeah

in my opinion this is a non-negotiable that's why I love hostinger so much because this is literally built in for free with their WordPress hosting so now if we look at a preview of this post this is what it looks like if we click on this it's going to bring us directly to that Amazon listing and your audience will be able to buy and you get that commission so now let's go over some of the best practices that you must utilize when doing affiliate marketing correctly the biggest thing is that it's all about value the

reason why people are going to use your links is because you are giving them some type of value and in exchange they are using your links and you are making a commission if you do not provide value then there is no way that people are going to use your links and it's also going to mean that your content is not going to get in front of more people cuz I've been the content game for a long time and trust me the only way to do well is to create good content it's not just about the

quantity of eyeballs that see your content rather it's the quality and what I mean by that is you want the right eyeballs to see your content for example for our York's best site we don't want people that don't have a Yorkie to come to our website because they're not going to find any value in the Articles and they're of course not going to use our links what we need to do is get people that actually have yorkis that are willing to purchase things for their dog to come to to our website those are the right

viewers in terms of how you get eyeballs on your content there are so many different channels so we covered the website this is a crucial part of affiliate marketing but there are also other channels as well for example YouTube Instagram Tik Tok Pinterest the list goes on the main gist though is that we want to get people to our content no matter if they're reading or watching or whatever it is who fall into our Target Niche that is why it's so important to pick a pretty specific Niche for your affiliate marketing business you guys probably

have seen a lot of YouTubers they will have affiliate links in their descriptions this is one of the ways that YouTubers can monetize their video content there are tons and tons of blogs out there making seven eight even nine figures with affiliate marketing for example nerd wallet is a huge one they do a ton of Financial reviews and of course there are tons of websites that promote Amazon links as well in my years of doing affiliate marketing I found that there are two really great ways to get eyeballs the first is by doing searchable content

so content that people are actively searching for for example if someone searches up top five things to buy from aori before flying and your video or your article pops up then those people are literally on the brink of trying to buy something and your conversion rates are going to be infinitely higher than some random person that stumbles upon your content right these people have intention they find your content with that intention and that in my opinion is the best key to making money with affiliate marketing the other way to get eyeballs is by doing General

content that can sort of go viral this is not my preferred method of doing it because it's very hard to go viral it's really up to the algorithm and the quality of people that are watching your content or seeing your article are not as high they have way less intent for purchasing while watching your content so for example in this case if you have 10 people that see your article on top travel accessories for your yorie and these are people that actually search that term on Google and found your article that's going to generate more

sales than likely a thousand people watching a random video about dogs some other types of content that do well are social media content short form videos these are going to be short exciting reviews for a particular product and you'll likely have a link in your bio or profile or doing things like I discovered blank and then showing that product you'll definitely want to repost your short form content on all these short form platforms because that's going to give you the highest number of eyeballs with the same content made oh and in your content you definitely

want to put your personal touch because what I found is that a personal touch makes it a lot more relatable it makes people actually enjoy your content and get more value from it and of course it makes it more likely for them to use your link and actually buy the Product Trust is a big thing here and having more personable content definitely builds trust so basically just to recap you need to create a lot of content in this section I'm going to talk about some other really useful tools that you can use to both help

you with strategy as well as output of content if you're really going to get into affiliate marketing having a very dedicated SEO tool is extremely important some Rush is one of my favorites I use it a lot for keyword research but they also have a ton of other tools like local SEO which helps to optimize your site for local searches as well as other social media tools Google Trends is a free tool that everyone should know basically what you can do is come here search a keyword so let's do something like dog accessories click explore

we can set some different parameters here so let's say in the US in the last 12 months it's going to be for web search you can see it's pretty steady with an uptick in the holiday months you can see what states have the most interest related topics and related queries you can also go to trending now and see what these search Trends are like these don't always relate to affiliate marketing or Amazon Associates this is definitely a free tool that everyone should know about in addition to hostinger AI writer there are a ton of other

great writing tools out there that I recommend you to use for example chat GPT perplexity Hemingway or grammarly to help with your writing style copy Ai and yeah there's so many more tools so that's all going to help you with your ideas strategy and actual writing once you move past that and you're ready to make content some great tools to use are going to be submic Opus frame clickup and slack these are all tools that I use heavily within my own content business basically tools are one of the best things you can invest in for

your business because when use right there is a huge positive Roi for every single tool yeah really I want you guys to start slow I know we covered a lot of things I know it might seem like oh I need to create so much content I need to write blogs I need to make long form videos I need to make short form videos all that stuff and yes it can be overwhelming but I want you to start slow all you need to do now is just create your website or blog write and post at least

20 different articles really Master the skill of SEO and written content creation and once you're get that that's when you can move move on into the content game and before we move on to the next section I just want to break this whole thing down and it's sort of more formulaic approach so essentially what you're doing is you're creating a lot of specific and/or popular content that's going to help you get the right eyeballs which we talked about that's going to allow you to give value to them and then in return that's when you can

finally get the rewards of affiliate commissions it's a lot of giving before receiving but that is the same with most businesses out there the reason why I love affiliate marketing is because it is so scalable you're using the internet which is on 24/7 with access to everyone in the world so that's really why people have been able to make so much money with affiliate marketing so now let's go over some of the rules that I want to tell you because these are extremely important you don't want to break them first is you don't want to

cloak your links unless you specifically say that you're sending them to Amazon by cloaking I mean using something like pre- links or bit.ly to hide that you're sending the viewer or clicker to Amazon Amazon does not allow this so what I just recommend doing is just use the short link as is this is the short link that you find with the site stripe tool and just post that link everyone is accustomed to seeing that link and yeah that's what you should use another very important thing is that you cannot display your affiliate links offline by

offline I mean like private Pages where Amazon cannot Trace back the location this includes emails PDFs as well as ebooks so if you cannot access that link online do not put it there also do not recommend listing the price because if it does change then it's actually against their policies Amazon does not want outdated pricing information since the prices can you know fluctuate quite a bit but I will say that the only way you guys can do this is if you update it every 24 hours with a timestamp of the most recent update of course

you're probably not going to do this manually but there are tools for this for example the hosting your Amazon tool does this for you an affiliate disclosure is also extremely important to have so this is going to be something like I am an Amazon associate and I earn from qualifying purchases that you make you definitely want your viewer to know that you are making money from commissions if they do use your links because that is part of the terms and service okay so let's talk about some of my other biggest tips and tricks when it

comes to affiliate marketing the first 180 days of your affiliate marketing business are very important as you guys saw it's very important to get those first three qualifying sales in those 180 days that way you have access to the API which allows you to access and use the hosting your Amazon plug-in and so yeah what you want to do is right when you create your account start creating your content start making your website just use S stripe links for now and get those three qualifying sales if you do not hit those sales in the first

180 days yes you can reapply but that does take time so I will say the timing is important you want to sign up and immediately begin promoting your links the next big tip I want to say is that you need to Niche down don't think about creating a very general website or affiliate marketing business pick a niche that is quite specific to a certain type of person my rule is if it's under 5% of people then it's likely a good topic for example the nich that I chose for our demo website was for yorkis not

that many people have yorkis but there still is a pretty sizable volume of people that do as you can see from this commission table for the US what Niche you choose also affects what type of commissions you get so yeah certain niches have better percentages but you also need to take into account the average order value of those types of products for example if you look at PCS the current commission rate for that is 2.5% and while that does seem kind of low the average order value for things in that Niche are quite high in

the thousands or hundreds of dollars so if you make a $1,000 sale You're basically making $25 commission rates on things like luxury Beauty are way higher at 10% but the average order value for that is going to be a little bit lower same thing with music and books kitchen Automotive stuff yeah pick your Niche wisely if you can pick something that is quite Niche down quite specific but is something that you're very interested in I think that is the perfect combination because yes like I said earlier you need to put your personal spin on it

and it's very very hard to put your personal spin on things that you have zero interest in another thing you guys can do is promote the Amazon bounties and other offers don't limit yourself to just promoting products you can absolutely promote the Amazon Bounty program as well but just make sure that it sort of falls into your Niche another thing I want to say is don't use your own links to buy things and also try not to have your family and friends do the same Amazon's very very smart they track your IP address they track

all these different things and they will know when you are doing this so if you want to do that to get your first sales I'd say try not to do that because it's very likely that they will catch on and you don't want to get your account banned another big tip I have is comparisons do extremely well so instead of just reviewing different products try and do different comparisons so pick the top five products in that sort of category and do versus content do product a versus product B do product a versus product C do

product B versus product C and so on you can even compare five different products and do a comparison table you can do the same thing with videos but yeah a lot of people they are searching this versus this and with those more specific types of keywords you can do extremely well essentially what we're trying to do with affiliate marketing especially with Amazon Associates affiliate marketing is creating really great written and video content that our audience finds value from try and create articles that not that many people are creating and the best way to do this

is get really specific right like the article I made for the yorkis website that was for accessories when you go traveling you can get even more specific you can have your geography you can have other types of products really the list is endless in the types of content you can make the more specific you can get with both your niche as well as the titles of your content the better it's going to perform and again like I said earlier it's all about value for your audience make sure that they are getting value because that is
