Video Transcript:
The criminals are bolder today than they've ever been because people are more desperate now, it seems like, than they've ever been on a more wider scale. Right? There's more crazy criminals today than I think there's ever been crazy criminals on the planet.
The criminal, the thief, the scammer, the fraud person, they don't always look like you think they're going to look. Sometimes the person has a college degree. They wear a suit and tie every day.
They're a manager somewhere. They own a business somewhere, right? It could be the attorney.
It could be the engineer. They're desperate, too. Guys, when you get rich, my suggestion is that you keep your mouth shut and work hard in silence.
And on this video, I want to tell you why. Let's talk about it. Now, guys, I just want you to listen to me closely on this.
I just want to share a little bit about my experiences to maybe help you out and why I say you got to keep your mouth shut. Work hard in silence. Don't say anything to anybody and just keep that thing rolling.
Now guys, the honest to goodness truth is most people, they're not really interested in your success. They don't really care that you're building wealth or that you got rich or that you're doing well financially. Listen, I don't care how much they smile in your face, uh, pat you on the back, uh, hug you and tell you nice job, right?
You have people around you that are quietly and secretly watching you, and they're not always watching you to see you do well. A lot of times they're watching you to see you fail. And not to be a Debbie Down or anything like that, but I just want to be honest with you, right?
There's a lot of people that are around you now. And these people could be your friends. It could be your family.
It could even be your parents or your siblings or it could be uh cousins or people you grew up with. It could be uh people that you went to school with high school, college, and they hang around you or they see you from time to time and they're real nice and cordial and and kind on the outside, but they're watching you. They're watching your life and they're watching because everybody for some reason in nowadays they they like a a sob story.
They like a problem. They like to see you fail and then uh bounce back, right? They want to but they want to see the fail part, right?
Because the fail part makes people feel feels like people are more relatable to you when they see you fall. So there are people that are around you that are like that. And the fact is, listen, envy is a real thing.
Okay? Envy is something that is an actual thing that happens and not something we just see about, talk about, hear about every night. It really happens.
Listen, there are people that cannot stand to see other people doing well, right? Growing financially, cuz you guys may have started off at the same place, neck andneck many years ago, right? Did the same things, hung out at the same places with the same crowd.
But now all of a sudden, 15, 20 years later, 30 years later, you're moving up in a different direction. And you moving up in a different direction financially or in life, it intimidates other people. Some people and and people become envious of it.
But here's breaking news for those people that I'm talking about that are envious. The breaking news is that we're supposed to change. This whole thing about keeping it real or staying the way you were 20 years ago, you're not supposed to be the same person you were 20 years ago.
You're supposed to change. You're supposed to grow. You're supposed to be a different person you are today than you were 20 years ago.
Right? You're supposed to grow. It's called maturity and it's an okay thing.
So when they say, "Well, he's not like he used to be or she she didn't used to be that way. " That's cool. Let them say that because you're right.
You're not who you used to be and you're not supposed to be who you are 20 years ago back when they knew you and y'all was in the same situation. You've grown. You've built wealth.
You've gotten richer, right? And if they haven't, there could be some envy there. Let's be honest with it.
And look, when you start having money and building wealth and getting that college degree and doing things different in life, now all of a sudden you're a manager where you work or supervisor, you're going to get the hate. And the hate comes from a feeling of envy from some people. Not everybody, but some.
And that's just one of the reasons that I'm telling you, when you start winning with money, building wealth, getting rich, keep quiet. Don't say anything. Keep it low-key and just keep your mouth shut.
Keep doing what you're doing, working hard in silence. Now, also, you need to remember that when it comes to building wealth or having more money, getting rich, loose lips can sink bank accounts. And I say that because once people realize and find out or know that you have money or you have a certain level of wealth, people start seeing you in a different light.
You may not have done anything to change their perception of you, but your perception, their perception of you automatically changes just because you've built some wealth or you have some money. It changes the way they look at you. And it's not because of anything you did.
It's because of them and their perception of how they look at people who've changed or who've gotten wealthy or who built riches, whatever it could be. They look at you different. And sometimes they start looking at you like you a walking ATM machine or something, right?
Oh, he has it. Oh, look at the car he drive. He got it.
Oh, look, she she always has this on and that on and she got that good job over there making all that money at so and so. And they don't even know how much money you make. They just know that you make some money.
So, they say she got a good job so she got to have the money. You can borrow it from her. Ask her.
She has it. again, friends, family, acquaintances, people you grew up with and you knew since elementary school, right? And then maybe some new people, some new cousins.
They start popping up with uh opportunities and for you to invest your money or sob stories or the big one is guilt trips, right? People start coming out the woodwork and people start throwing a guilt trip on you. If this sounds familiar, do me a favor and drop a comment below and just say you can relate or tell me the story.
Many of us have experienced this. When we get to another level, people start thinking that they can lean on you and guilt trip you. And you will get that from time to time, right?
People trying to make you feel like you have an obligation to help this person or them or that person, right? You you you're obligated that as soon as you get a little money, you must help soand so or so or this person, that person. That's a guilt trip, right?
Now, I'm all about helping other people and then giving money to people. I talk about it a lot on this channel, giving money and helping out people with your money, but nobody should make you feel like you have to or you're supposed to or you need to or else, right? That should be your own personal decision who you help out and how much you decide to help them with, right?
And you don't have to justify that to anybody. You don't have to justify why you gave this person any money or why you didn't give that person any money. You don't have to justify it, right?
Why you did or didn't invest in somebody's side hustle or you don't have to justify why you bought that car or you living. You don't have to give in to people's perceptions or give in to these guilt trips that people want to put on you when you start building wealth and you start having money. So, in my opinion, silence is always the best defense against other people's expectations.
Right? The fact is this. When you start winning with money and you get rich or you build wealth somehow, you got to have some thick skin.
It's not for the weak to be to go out and work hard and you work hard and after 5, 10, 15, 20 years you have more than the people around you. It's not for the weak. You have to have tough, thick skin because there's going to people be people around you who are, like I said, who are envious and people who are going to try to put guilt trips on you or people who are going to try to feel a certain way because you don't do what you used to do or you don't hang where you used to hang or you don't buy what you used to buy and you don't have what you used to have.
And they're stuck and wondering, well, you know, why, you know, why you got to change? Why you got to be different? You should be stuck right here with me, right?
And you have to end up setting up really clear boundaries if you have money. And that's why I say, hey, silence is golden. Shut up.
Don't talk about it. Keep your mouth shut. Be quiet.
Now, the other thing is that privacy is power. Put it like this. When you keep quiet, you move in silence.
That's powerful. When you work hard, stay low-key, that's powerful, right? It's power to have money and not spend money.
It's powerful or power to to have the ability but not exercise the ability, right? Have the capability in store but not actually exercise the capability. To not buy the item, right?
To not go into a store and get whatever you want cuz you can get whatever you want. It's discipline but it's power, right? There's power in discipline.
There's power in the freedom to choose. And when you move like that in silence, you become more powerful, right? That privacy is power.
Hey, the most fun part of having money is not spending the money, but it's just knowing that if you wanted to, you could spend the money. That's the fun of having money is the freedom that says now you have the ability to make choices that you don't have when you don't have money. That freedom, that financial freedom is powerful.
And if you can move with that in silence, man, I'm telling you now, it's nice. It's better than the alternative like I used to be broke and not having no money. Not to mention that when you stay lowkey, that sort of protects you from scammers and frauds and people trying to, you know, swindle you out of your money, thieves, criminals.
Basically, it protects you from bad financial advice because remember on your wealth-b buildinging journey to riches or to wealth. You've become a person. Now you understand the process.
Now you understand that it is a process and it's not something that can happen boom just like that overnight get rich, right? This is why the person you become in the process of building wealth is very important to sustain the wealth. It's why people who get rich fast, get rich quick, they often times lose the money.
Lottery winners, athletes, actors, right? People that all of a sudden come up on a whole bunch of money at the age of 20 or 25 and they don't know how to handle the money, right? Because the person you become in the process of building wealth allows you to be a wiser person who's able to sustain the wealth over time.
That's why it's important not to get rich quick. That's why when you stay low-key, you work hard in the background, hard and silence, and you focus on just building wealth without being flashy or fans. Now that you've worked hard in silence, you sort of set up this barrier of wisdom, right?
This this privacy fence of understanding the process. And now when it comes to a scammer or when it comes to somebody who Now, don't get me wrong, scammers are they they're slick, right? They can get to you.
But you have a better chance when you work hard in silence and you build over time. You have a better chance of not falling for the scammer, for the overnight get-richqu scheme, or even for bad financial advice. It's easy to take bad financial advice when you're 25 years old and you ain't never had no money and all of a sudden you get rich.
It's easier to fall for that bad financial advice. But when you get older, you're 35, 45, 55 years old, and you took time out to work hard and build wealth and you got skin in the game, it's a whole lot harder for somebody to swindle you out of your money because you understand the process and you've gained a certain level of knowledge, security, self-development, right? You've become the person that you needed to become to have the wealth.
And so you're more aware of criminals, right? You're more aware of slick talkers, shy people, the scam artists, right? The frauds, right?
Your vision becomes better. And guess what? When you work hard in silence, your vision is clearer.
You become the person that's able to see a little bit better. The scam artists coming down the road who's eyeing you, looking right at you, trying to take your money. the criminal is easier to spot when I've been working hard in silence than when I've been out here bragging about everything I got.
Moving in silence also just it puts less of a bullseye and less of a target on you. Anyway, I'm telling you now though, there's people out here, people nowadays, guys. I mean, think about the climate that we live in right now, the environment we live in.
There's a whole lot of desperate people out here. people that will do anything they can do to rip you off and to take what you got. The consciousness and the morality is so low.
I mean, I'm talking globally, right? I'm not talking about just in America. I'm talking about everywhere.
You UK, you be in West Africa, any of the West African countries. You can be in East Africa. You can be down in South America, Australia.
It doesn't matter. Over in Southeast Asia or Asia, it doesn't matter where you are, right? could be could be right smack dab in the middle of of uh Austria, right?
Doesn't matter where you are. The criminals are bolder today than they've ever been because people are more desperate now, it seems like, than they've ever been on a more wider scale. Right?
There's more crazy criminals today than I think there's ever been crazy criminals on the planet. Right? We're living in those times.
And listen, let me tell you this. the criminal, the thief, the scammer, the fraud person, they don't always look like you think they're going to look. Sometimes the person has a college degree, they wear a suit and tie every day, they're a manager somewhere, they own a business somewhere.
Those are scammers, too, right? It don't have to be the person that looks like a criminal. There's all different types of criminals, and they live everywhere.
You're not exempt. If you live in a big house somewhere in a nice uh city somewhere, a nice area, you there's criminals around you. Their crime may not be uh crimes you can see, but they doing some stuff either back in the background you can't see.
They trying to get over, right? It could be the attorney, it could be the engineer. They're desperate, too.
So, I urge you on this video to protect your peace by staying low-key with your wealth, with your riches, because there are scammers. There are thieves. There are liars and criminals and people with bad intentions all around you.
I don't care how well you think you're living or how well how isolated or insulated you think you are. They're around you. And you may be saying, "Well, you know, here you are talking about staying low-key on a YouTube video.
" Well, let me address that, okay? Because here's my deal. My purpose is to help as many people as possible as I can with their personal finances.
That's my purpose. That's what I'm do. That's what my YouTube channel is all about.
It's about helping as many people as possible. So, guess what? I may have to be that sacrificial person that steps out on a limb and says, "Hey, here's what I got.
Here's why you need to listen to me, but let me tell you how you can do it yourself. It's my purpose. It's what I do.
" Right? So, that's a little different. Trust me, if I didn't have a YouTube channel, I would be extremely low-key.
And even now, I'm low-key. Right? If you go and see me at a grocery store or you go see me somewhere, I'm not flashy, right?
I drive a 18-year-old car. I wear regular c clothes and regular shoes. I'm a regular person.
I'm not draped with jewelry. I'm not out front. You see me on YouTube, right, talking about money.
But guess what? The average person, they're not going to know what I have. And if they do know what I have, I'm ready for that, right?
You can best believe anytime you see me, if you see me out and about, I'm ready for it. Right? if there's any smoke or problems or issues or things like that.
But I'm also ready for it in terms of the scammers, right? The scam artists, the people who are trying to get to you, but I've also set up some boundaries as well. So, I'm not just talking on this video.
I'm telling you that I do what I practice and preach. And at the same time, I'm also saying, look, yes, I understand that when you start building wealth, it's tough. You're going to have a lot of things coming at you.
And I'm telling you that from a position of a person who understands it and has been through it, right? So, hey, if I have to be the person that gets out here and tells you a little bit about what I have to add a little bit of credibility to what I'm telling you, I'm cool. I can do that.
I'm ready for it because it's my purpose and it's what I'm here for. So you help your cause and you help your peace when you decide to stay silent when you start building some wealth and you just work hard in silence and do what you got to do and build your wealth and just shut up. Right?
Look, in my opinion, wealth is best built quietly. The loud people that attract all the attention and say, "Look at me. Look at me.
Look at what I have. Look at what I drive. Look at the house I live in.
Look at the shoes on my feet. Look at the clothes on my back. Look at the jewelry that I have around me.
Look at me. Those people, those loud people that want the attention, most times they're drawing the wrong people to them. They're drawing in the fake friends, the friends who only want to be around them for what they can give them.
They're drawing in the IRS, right? They're drawing in criminal behavior. They're attracting people who are superficial, not genuine, but people who are coming near you because of the money or the things that you have.
The rich people, the wealthy people who stay wealthy and stay rich and sustain that, pass it on to generation to generation. Those people, you don't even know who those people are. You don't even see them.
You have no clue who they are because they're working hard in silence and they're building an empire in the background. They're building wealth while they just shut up and make that thing work. Real wealth, real riches, it's not flashy.
It's not on LinkedIn. It's not on Facebook. It's not talking about how much money they have on Twitter or X, right?
Real wealth is typically not on a YouTube channel, right? In my opinion, guys, peace is better than popularity. Real wealth can buy you freedom and the ability to choose.
And that comes from not needing the validation, not needing the praise from other people, right? That's real peace. That bragging stuff and boasting about what you have and showing off your wealth in front.
That just invites pressure and problems. Whereas silence invites peace. Look, when you get rich, do yourself a favor.
Work hard in silence and keep your mouth shut. Right? Don't say anything.
If you got value from the video, smash the like button for me. And also share the video with somebody who you know, right? I hope I was able to give you some inspiration, some encouragement, and maybe even some motivation to say, you know what, when I start building my wealth, let me move in silence, right?
And just work hard in silence and just chill and be low-key as I build my wealth. Hopefully, I gave you some things to think about. Listen, if you think saving money is the key to wealth, think again.
Check out this video right here where I talk about exactly why you need to stop saving money. Until the next video, peace.
