in the land of Babylon during the reign of King Darius I found myself facing a trial that tested the depths of my faith for when jealousy and deceit sought to cast me into darkness it was the light of God's presence that guided me through the Shadows come Journey with me into the lion's den where the Roars of fearsome beasts were silenced by The Whisper of divine grace for it is there amidst the jaws of peril that the strength of faith and the promise of Deliverance were revealed I am Daniel and this is my story welcome
to ancient Babylon a land of majestic Splendor and Grand architecture this city stood as a beacon of civilization and culture the streets were lined with bustling marketplaces filled with vibrant colors and the Aromas of exotic [Music] spices towering ziggurats and Grand palaces decorated the skyline showcasing the city's wealth and Architectural prowess at the heart of This Magnificent Empire flowed the mighty Euphrates River bringing life and prosperity during this Golden Era Babylon was ruled by King Darius a wise and Powerful Monarch who sought to maintain peace and Order throughout his vast Kingdom King Darius was known
for his fairness and his efforts to govern with Justice and integrity among the many inhabitants of Babylon was a Hebrew man named Daniel Daniel had been brought to Babylon as a young man and over the years his wisdom integrity and unwavering faith in God had earned him great favor King Darius recognizing Daniel's exceptional qualities appointed him as one of the top administrators in his kingdom Daniel's position brought him both respect and envy some of the other officials jealous of Daniel's favor with the King sought to find a way to bring him down however they could
find no fault in Daniel's conduct as he was both diligent and faithful determined to find a way to undermine him these officials devised a cunning plan [Music] they approached King Darius with a proposal appealing to his pride and Authority oh King Darius live forever they said we have devised a decree that will unify the people in their reverence for you for the next 30 days anyone who prays to any God or man other than you O King shall be thrown into the lion's den flattered by the idea King Darius signed the decree into law not
realizing the Trap being set for his trusted administrator Daniel despite knowing about the new law Daniel continued to pray to God three times a day just as he had always done he would kneel by the window in his Upper Room facing Jerusalem and offer his prayers with unwavering devotion the conspirators eagerly watching quickly reported Daniel's actions to the king Bound by the unchangeable laws of the mes and Persians King Darius was forced to follow through with the punishment despite his deep distress over Daniel's fate with a heavy heart he ordered Daniel to be thrown into
the Lion's Den before sealing The Den with a large Stone King Darius spoke to Daniel may your God whom you serve continually rescue you that night King d I could not sleep he refused food and entertainment consumed by worry for his loyal [Music] servant at the first light of dawn he hurried to the Lion's Den and called out in anguish Daniel servant of the Living God has your God whom you serve continually been able to rescue you from the Lions to his immense relief Daniel replied oh King live forever my God sent his Angel and
he shut the mouths of the Lions they have not hurt me because I was found innocent in his sight nor have I ever done any wrong before you O King Overjoyed King Darius ordered Daniel to be lifted out of the den not a scratch was found on him for he had trusted in his God the king then commanded that the men who had falsely accused Daniel be thrown into the lion's den along with their families before they even reached the floor of the den the Lions overpowered them and crushed all their [Music] bones King Darius
issued a decree to all the peoples Nations and languages throughout the land in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the god of Daniel for he is the Living God and he endures forever his kingdom will not be destroyed his Dominion will never end he rescues and he saves he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth he has rescued Daniel from the power of the Lions and so Daniel prospered during the reign of King Darius and the reign of Cyrus the Persian his faith and God's Deliverance became a
