exactly one year ago I started a faceless YouTube automation channel that has already garnered over 4 million views and over 150,000 subscribers so far I have made over $144,000 on YouTube with ad Revenue alone plus my team and I are now running business called AI guy Academy we currently make over $32,000 in monthly recurring Revenue our Academy is ranking number 17 amongst thousands of other communities and the way we achieve these results is simply by teaching people how to make money online with the help of YouTube and AI so in this video I'm actually going
to leak a presentation that I did today in one of our weekly calls where I will present to you the absolute foundations of YouTube Automation and the very basic rules to the game of YouTube as a whole by the end of this video you should have no confusion about what YouTube is what direction you should take and what your actual steps should be just before I begin I have a free to jooin telegram Channel where I post content and AI updates additionally if you want to access this notion template that you see on the screen
right now the same template I'm going to be using throughout this presentation you can custom cize it you can download it you can use the links all that good stuff I'm going to link this notion template inside of my telegram so the link to the notion template and telegram is going to be all down in the description you can just click on it now guys if you're actually serious about YouTube Automation and making money online in general really consider checking out AI gu Academy we just did a fresh rebranding we added a bunch of new
courses like the YouTube automation course where I literally just laid out for you the entire blueprint for how to play the game of YouTube anyway guys if all that sounds interesting all the links are going to be down below go check it out but without wasting any time let's actually get into the YouTube automation presentation for beginners YouTube automation 101 so in this quick introduction we are going to go over the absolute basics of YouTube Automation and for everyone who is beginner to this uh whole thing I hope this is going to bring absolute Clarity
the business model breakdown let's go so YouTube automation channels are run as a business rather than a creative process that's something you should understand from the start you don't have to reveal your identity when running a YouTube automation Channel although you can like I do it myself the business model is called YouTube automation because every step of the process can be outsourced both humans and AI tools can be involved now you are in control of what you do don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with creating content I will give you a quick example
I'm starting to rapidly Outsource some of the production Parts on my channel such as video editing so I can spend more time ideating videos and actually creating content that allows me to hire less people and make more money as a result however over time it is possible to Outsource up to 90% of the workload so in my case that would be Outsourcing Outsourcing even the script writing part and just checking in with the channel and providing ideas and uh I always recommend to learn every step of the process to understand Outsourcing better and create videos
that is absolutely essential so YouTube automation has reached New Heights and popularity thanks to the recent surge of AI which allows us to produce higher quality videos for a lower amount of effort you can create Netflix level great videos now with AI plus capcut which is something that I cover in the course and uh once you understand the YouTube automation business model you can copy and paste the formula of how to create and run a successful channel uh to different channels in niches letting you run multiple successful online businesses Why YouTube so YouTube pays you
for the amount of views you get which is one of the primary ways to make money it's also called as ad Revenue especially if you create videos in a high paying Niche that you know that is super beneficial one of the it's also one of the most popular ways and efficient ways to make money on YouTube for instance Instagram does not pay you for views at all and Tik Tok has created partner program but it doesn't work everywhere and it's whatever I hear funny stories about it but YouTube ad revenue is just works like a
Clockwork on other social media apps such as Instagram uh posts often die down to after 24 to 48 hours within posting on YouTube if your videos optimize correctly the algorithm will always fight to promote your video think of it like a digital real estate now YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world every day Millions upon millions of people visit to get their questions answered whatever ever your Niche is next up YouTube videos can still be getting views years after the video has been uploaded yeah like I kind of mentioned already and if
you create if you create videos about searchable topics your content will become Evergreen meaning your videos will be getting passive views over time and the passive views means passive income next step is when and how channels get paid now obviously ad Revenue I've already mentioned this a lot but long story short in order to start receiving ad Revenue you need to you need to hit 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours that were accumulated from your long form videos not shorts don't confuse it please and YouTube will start placing ads on your videos and you will
get paid via Google AdSense all right so basically you hit the threshold you do this and that to get monetized and uh you then split money with YouTube from the ads AdSense and the advertisers that come to the platform okay so that's just the most like traditional rather easy way to make money now the next uh these are kind of the business models that you could potentially build on top of your channel so first of all is Drop Shipping so it's selling your merch or creating a store relevant to the channel I don't know selling
coffee mugs that would be called A Drop Shipping operation but typically you'll be using sites like Shopify or autods autods is like a it's like a website AI tool for Drop Shipping so check it out if you're into that uh now next step is just straight up selling digital products and you can do that on school you can do it with clickfunnels and you can do it with in so many more ways there's you know I could I could make a whole other lecture on how to do that but yeah that's a great way to
do it next uh step is affiliate marketing so here are some uh websites that'll help you with affiliate marketing now what is it affiliate marketing it's simply promoting something and once once someone clicks on a link on your link uh you get a commission so on future pedia you can find softwares uh also on product hunt and then on uh Amazon Associates digistore and ClickBank you will find the traditional products to advertise now next step is obviously getting brand deals but that would be something you will encounter later on as you grow that's not everything
okay so this the space is evolving so rap rapidly there are new money-making opportunities appearing every 6 to 12 months so I cannot mention everything now top level YouTube automation channels use a mixture of these monetization options to maximize their earning potential and here's a pro tip always strive to build multiple income sources on YouTube not only you will make more money obviously but you will protect yourself say your channel gets demonetized uh it could happen and the views are going to drop or your PayPal account gets Frozen that's you know whatever stuff can happen
so building several income sources on YouTube from day one is just a healthy exercise now let's move on to the next step is YouTube terminology these are the terms you uh you can see get thrown around around a lot so the first one is rpm so it's actually how much money you earn per thousand views after YouTube takes its 55% cut is the metric we care about the most so for example if a Channel's RPM is $3 1 million views on this channel would equal to approximately 3,000 in add Revenue now CPM is essentially the
same metric but that's before YouTube takes its cut so typically like if you're CPM is $10 your actual RPM would be around $4 or so next one is CTR so it's how often people click on your video after seeing the title and the thumbnail all right so next time is the watch time or it's also called watch hours I believe in YouTube Studio it's the total aggregate time people spend watching your videos and the next one is avd average view duration and it's probably one of the most important once you really should be looking at
at the start of your journey it is how long people spend watching your videos on average uh usually displayed as percentage of your video length and the required minimum for verality is 20 to 30% the goal is 40 to 60 Mr Beast does something like over 80% so the higher it this the better it is obviously all right let's see if we've had any questions so far yes we have um Edgar says can we do this in other languages as well like Spanish will they will all the tools work in such language recting chat gbt
Etc uh yeah I actually don't recommend to really enter Spanish uh language Niche because it's some of the lowest RPM niches it's like $1 on average but he could yeah Chad GPT Works in many languages I actually use it in Russian sometimes another question is is there a Target CTR that we should try to achieve to YouTube algorithm to promote that content that's actually an amazing question so over time my CTR typically once the video is posted it's like peing usually it's 10 to 133% and then over time goes back to between 5 to 7%
the more time goes by the more views you get the lower the CTR gets obviously because YouTube just keeps recommending your video and I hope it makes sense so first it recommends it to your audience so that is why the CTR is higher at the start and once it starts recommending your video to random audience that is when your CTR drops but yeah between 6 to 7% the next up is the importantance of a niche so you cannot create random videos on random topics you need to have the vision and direction if you make videos
about Ronaldo and Messi for example which are football players for anyone who doesn't know then you'll be in a sports Nish obviously and then you cannot just suddenly create political videos on that same channel where you posted videos about sports being specific with what videos you create makes it so much easier to grow your channel as you are not confusing the YouTube algorithm with what your channel is about when people subscribe to a YouTube channel they expect to see the same type of content regularly so uploading anything on a different topic will result in your
viewers not clicking on your videos and uh here are some for anybody who's actually following along here are some AI tools for Niche research vid IQ and Tube magic the absolute best one for this purpose is vid IQ I recommend checking it out and next up is the niche you decide to create your YouTube videos in will determine how much you will get paid so for example if you choose real estate is your Niche you would have a higher tier audience meaning your videos would be more desirable to advertisers as your audience would have a
higher purchasing power whereas if you made videos for kids based in low tier countries advertisers would be less willing to pay YouTube money to display their ads on your videos meaning your channel would be making less money all right I hope it makes sense so if you Advertiser think about it if you want to promote your credit card company where would you go to a video again where real real estate is discussed the adults are the target audience or some kids cartoon channel I hope it's self-explanatory now these are some of the most expensive regions
so to speak these are the countries that have to have like some of the highest bu Powers so these languages you know the markets and the regions you should be targeting but of course just my best advice obviously just do English because it's you know it's the most spoken language in the world so it's just the way to go about it now higher tier audiences won't usually attract millions of views for your channel is your content will be for a very specific Niche so and low low to your audiences content can have a very broad
appeal allowing your content to potentially earn millions of views there is more earning potential through having a higher to your audience as you can sell products or provide services to them for example you're a lawyer firm making educational content about law and then you provide specific professional help on your website that is linked in the video's description yeah I hope that that right here is just I explained how most of the modern businesses work so they go on YouTube provide some kind of value and then they attract people that way that's next step is the
YouTube automation Pathways uh the first kind of a pathway which I don't recommend but I just want to mention anyways so you guys are aware of it is the trend focused the style of content would revolve around trending topics if you are early to create videos about a trending topic then you can potentially make a massive profit on the flip side if you are late to the wave of the hype you will end up getting little to no views and end up wasting your time or money if you're working with a team it only makes
sense if you're experienced and have a team and the event is truly big and noisy so here's what I mean we all know there was a finy virus in 2020 we all have to agree that this event was like massive everybody was talking about it for multiple months and so at the time if you knew YouTube you had some resources you know how to make videos fast like when I say fast like can you make a video within the next 6 hours 4 hours if you can then when you know these kind of events they
happen every couple years so just be aware there's a lot of AD Revenue money to be made because these videos get millions of views quickly but okay that's just for your information but what actually works is Evergreen content it revolves around the idea of creating content that will forever be bringing your views AKA forever making you money Evergreen content usually consists of educational videos that teach someone how to do something being specific with what videos you create makes it so much easier to grow your channel as you are not confusing the YouTube algorithm with what
your channel is about and here are some examples of Evergreen channels so obviously educational long-term SE searching how-tos popular World figures topics historical events I would really not suggest to go about figures that's like online uh but stories they also have a green creating a brand name Logo and a banner so the name is the first step obviously and to find what channel names are suitable for your Niche look at how your competitors have named their Channel you can either just copy their names and just adapt them tweak them or you could use chat GPT
to help you come up with the name ideas but hon honestly my own name came from just hours of brainstorming and sitting here on YouTube playing with the available usernames here's another Pro tip actually sit there and play with available usernames on YouTube that is how I came up with AI guy so I chose AI the word AI is like the first part of my username and then I was just playing with the second part guy was available that's how my name came all right logo and a banner keep in mind you do not need
to have fancy art on your Channel or anything like that my own Banner was made in canva in 5 minutes on my other channel I made all my art in paint also in like 2 minutes and both got monetized but what I'm trying to say here you need to have some kind of a art logo and Banner in place what exactly you have in place it doesn't matter okay you can use AI tools to generate the image I linked here a AI image generator you could use canva or photopia both are free you could hire
freelancer if you want some fancy stuff it's totally up to you your vision and you really want to look at what your competition is doing because I could not tell you I don't I don't know what channel you're making if if you really want to have some kind of an actionable advice and guidance about this I actually have made these YouTube courses where I explain this process entirely and it's also been explained in the courses it's just very technical stuff but it's all there uh now the next step is management of a channel so what
are the variables that you need to control uh or what's like the order so first up is video adiation that is scripting that is voice over then it's video editing thumbnails SEO uploading and channel management and honestly there's more stuff and uh like mentioned earlier is a hybrid business model so you get to decide whether 95% of everything is outsourced or you are involved in 30% of the process ideally you want to Outsource at least 85% of the workload or leverage AI to achieve that once you build your own system that allows you to create
high quality content consistently I forgot to mention here consistently without having to put in your time that is when this business model becomes profitable okay so you either have money or you have time you get my point since it's unrealistic to have everything outsourced when starting out I mean because of financial limitations and lack of expertise here is how we will handle each step of the content creation process ourselves so the first natural step is research and in the research part the most significant mistake people make is coming up with video ideas that they want
to see and not what their target audience wants to see so how to find ideas first of all go to Google Chrome and open incognito tab and go to YouTube find top creators in your Niche go to their profiles and look at their most popular videos from the last 12 months create a Google doc and write down their most popular videos view count title thumbnail for like everything what everything they use and do this for five different creators that way you will already have an incredible database of what works in your Niche and that that
you can use to at least get started on YouTube do uh research with AI as well you can download the Google Chrome extension called vid IQ and uh it's something I use myself on all the time on YouTube and it will show you VI per hour trending videos certain demand metrics how quickly a video was getting views upon publishing for example video tags and so so much more crucial data that you will not see otherwise and helps me personally to identify performing videos inside of viq there's also personalized AI coach that you can connect to
your channel and it will do research based on your existing data so that's super crucial and uh I recommend using it another free option is using Google Trends you can actually go to viq and for free you can get some keywords out of it once you do that if you're on the budget let's say you could go to V uh Google Trends with the keywords and you could type in the keywords and identify trends that way step number nine script writing now scripts is an extremely important if not the most important variable here without a
good script the average view duration for your videos will be low so be sure to take your time creating your script that's really super crucial like a boring script with the boring script the video will not perform and it does not matter what happens on the screen doesn't matter what kind of visuals you apply and so there is really three ways to get scripts uh first of all is write scripts yourself now if you really analyze like over 30 scripts of your competitors like not just watch the videos but actually get their scripts and read
it like formulas you will naturally understand script writing I can promise you like there's going to be patterns certain wordings they use phrases it's going to all make sense uh next step is obviously you could hire someone on Fiverr uh it's probably script is the first part you should really Outsource even if you can barely afford it really consider Outsourcing it and uh alternatively if you're doing like uh live videos you're just talking on camera for example and you just need some kind of a rough outline you can use tools like tube magic that can
provide you with a bullet point list upon request and that just makes life easier so something like I I'm doing myself right now just reading along off a list AI like tube magic can provide you with such uh bullet points all right so next step is uh voiceover so for voiceover you can use AI fire fre freelancer or use your own voice if you're going to use AI I recommend 11 Labs it is what I use myself on AI guy and it is monetizable but uh you would need to have commercial license and to do
that you would need to have the paid version uh just for transparency it doesn't have to be 11 laps there's a lot of other AI voiceovers uh you just always make sure to get the commercial license to avoid any kind of issues Additionally you could hire a freelancer like a voice actor to make your voice server even more expressive and entertaining although I would argue like yes today is of today it would make a difference but who knows where AI voice servers are going to be in a year from now I'm just going to stick
with 11 laps for my videos but yeah just know that there is voice over voice actors as well video editing well yeah I don't have much to say here my video editing software of choice is cap cut so if you want to try the pro version it's here but I strongly recommend you to learn how to edit you will need to understand this process later on when you Outsource videos in order to really evaluate fair price for edits that you receive from people Freelancers because some people claim to have really high skills but it's not
the case they're just going to deliver a bad job and you need to see that you need to identify that or you need to tell them how to fix a video how to make it better so you need to speak the editing language so to speak here's my free cap cut editing course attached here inside of this one uh there's also a cap cut course I have in the academy so you can check it out yeah title and thumbnail those are really really important now the title and thumbnail for a video is what the viewer
sees before deciding if they click on the video or not think about it your title and thumbnail is like a selling point of your video it is literally the first thing that people encounter when they see your video okay so keep that in mind uh without a good title and thumbnail for your video you will not get any views as no one will want to click on your video your title and thumbnail need to be at the same level as your compet competitors or else they will be stealing all of your potential viewers here are
three elements that make an excellent thumbnail usage of high cont contrast images minimal text used on your thumbnail and making sure your thumbnail is in high resolution and something I forgot to mention here is something I talked about in the thumbnail Mastery course is the uh using the rule of thirds so always having objects placed in the thirds on your screen that makes the picture look very organic yeah let's move on SEO and uploading as I mentioned before YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world to rank at the top of the search
result results you need to optimize your SEO usage for that I use viq it's uh actually had a full uh keyword strategy explained in the automation Empire course it's over an hour altogether so you should really check this out uh this lesson will give you a fundamental understanding of the whole keyword process and when it comes to video tags hyperfocus on what the video is going to be about and uh don't be true brow as well so really video tags and keywords are is the same thing and for SEO use three hashtags that are relevant
to your video and finally use keywords in your in your description with the top line and incentivizing people to watch your video so the first 200 characters are super crucial uh for SEO purposes now next up is production lion so I think I already mentioned this briefly yeah I realized I made this twice but just in case it's still confusing to you first we analyze the competition we research our Niche then we come up with a video idea a bunch of them actually next up is we write a script make the voice over edit the
video create thumbnails upload publish and then we do our post upload game so we share the links distribute the video post the links to our Instagram stories Etc whatever it is you're doing but it is actually important to distribute your video some somewhere else you know not just rely on YouTube's algorithm to push it out number 15 avoid these mistakes first of all don't delay it uh time is not playing in your favor as far as starting on YouTube in general so just get to action all right don't overthink and just start uploading imperfect action
is better than no action might sound cliche and too generic but it's it's that simple all right it's the simple truth yeah I just want to say that imperfect action is better than no action but also keep in mind there's no such thing as perfect action at all nobody's perfect we never will be so uh every action that you make moving from here on out is always going to be imperfect okay so just start like literally just start and I know it's you hear it over and over again and I've said this multiple and multiple
times and I think I did this on the last call and it might have even been on the private call where I Express the fact that I tried to chase perfection without taking action for years like actual years I did not do a specific action that I was supposed to do for years due to the fact that I thought it wasn't perfect it wasn't ready when uh I realized at the end of those years that I was wasting my time i' wasted I had wasted all that time I had to come to that conclusion and
then just start posting imperfectivity or imper imperfectly and uh lo and behold um results started happening because you only get results when you start to post when you start to act take action and you don't get them when you think about trying to be perfect all the time so don't uh take my advice and don't make my mistake and wait forever and ever just because you want it to be perfect because it never will be yeah that's true well the next advice is again back to being technical is do not buy followers or likes or
no follow for follow like for like I don't care what it is just be smarter than this do not engage in these kind of activities I see some people asking me I bought followers now what do I do I don't know it's not something you should be doing the next advice is stay out of kids niches due to potential legal issues and specific regulations avoid at all cost working with Freelancers here we're kind of approaching the Outsourcing stage that's actually really the stage my channel is currently at actively so these are really hot fresh tips
that have been Gathering within the last month so always ask for work examples and portfolios to verify the skill level of a potential freelancer uh be sure to pay your freelancer on time be like do everything professionally on your side be clear with payment instru always clarify the payment structure before making the deal are we doing PayPal are we doing crypto Etc always use a middleman system like fivr the number three and four account together and never pay up front by a telegram especially if it's a stranger like it's okay to pay someone up front
but if it's your friend or you've worked before but I see so many people unfortunately just getting scammed by paying random people on telegram up front like it's it's 2024 so definitely be more aware of that next step is be clear with your instructions and what you want from the very start always ask freelancer whether your instructions are clear ask them to kind of say back what you said just to make sure you're on the same page and next step is you want any freelancer that works for you to be working effectively motivated and invested
in your project this will make your channel perform better overall Freelancers are always looking for work you can use this to your advantage when negotiating deals asking for a lower price and promise promising the long-term work that's really the leverage if you want to work longterm you can negotiate a salary of some kind uh win-win situation build good relationships with Freelancers as they become an integral part of your business and team really that's kind of the mentality I have personally anyone I try to work with I really try to picture working with this person for
the next 5 10 years and it's just I believe that's the best way to go about it next up is have several Freelancers in place for each aspect as you don't want to be relying on one person all the time and look for fre Freelancers in specific Discord servers or telegram channels so because most of the people would tell you go to Fiverr and nwork actually now that I really think about it every single freelancer I'm actively working with I met on telegram or Discord not Fiverr look for alternative ways to find people and how
would you find these discords or for example there's a telegram Channel I have a telegram Channel or so I'm a YouTuber I have a telegram Channel or I'm sure there's many like editing you know YouTube channels they also have uh Discord servers and so on so I hope that helps next step is quality control I want you to really adapt this mentality and I adapted this from Mr Beast he said this in one his podcasts but each video that you upload must be better than the previous one doesn't matter how exactly whether it's an editing
trick a thumbnail tweak or a new intro hook but you must strategically and intentionally look at your previous video be like okay this sucks now how do I make this better and then you make this better and you upload the next video that way and that was the YouTube automation Basics from me now let's uh answer some questions all right guys thank you for watching this video don't forget to check out the AI guy Academy And subscribe be to the channel I will see you in the next one
