I've been a business owner for over 15 years, and I test out a ton of different AI tools every single week. In this video, I wanted to show you five that I specifically vetted for different business use cases: social media content creation and marketing. I think you're going to find them really valuable, and I'm not going to cover the obvious ones, like ChatGPT, that I use every single day.
I want to show you some that you probably haven't used before. Okay, the first one is all about getting traffic through social media marketing, and this one is called Flick. This tool is going to automate pretty much all of your social media marketing campaigns because a lot of business owners and marketers just don’t have time to keep track of all the social media scheduling, hashtag input, and posting of the content.
This is an AI-powered social marketing platform. With Flick, they have something called Iris that they recently rolled out; this is their AI toolset for automating social media content. Over here, there are a bunch of things you can do, like one-off tasks, such as generating a post, adding captions, and brainstorming ideas.
But I want to show you an automation strategy where you don’t have to do any of this one time. First, you go to the "My Strategy" tab and set up your strategy. They have some templates too, and you can decide how often you want to post—four times a week.
What kind of content do you want to make? Informational, business, or promotional? You can then decide how much of each you want.
As for media distribution, do you have graphics? Do you have images? Do you have videos?
Graphics, for example, can be created using Napkin AI, which I covered in a different video. Napkin AI makes really interesting graphics by just selecting some text and turning it into visually appealing graphics you can share. Obviously, there are a lot of tools like Midjourney and DALL-E for images, and I’ve covered tools like Runway for videos, using AI to do that.
So, you can choose your distribution. If you never make videos, for example, just set that to zero. But video is obviously one of my favorite tools.
You can also decide on the content theme, and then you can set all this up. You can modify it. Right now, I'm making one for a local wellness clinic, so I’m showing this as a demo for that, and these are the four different pillars we decided to go after.
We're going to save those changes. You set that up first, and then you can go to your brand hub and type in everything about your business: your bio and your brand voice, which will dictate how the writing takes place, including any special rules and points of view. All I have to do now is plan a content calendar.
I could decide to do this for December because I think I have some set up for this month. How long should it be? Let’s just do two weeks here.
Let me go ahead and press continue. You can choose any media you want to include, so you'll prepopulate all your media that you've created, including any AI-generated ones. You can go ahead and select those and upload them from there.
You can tag any products, and if you have any events coming up, you can tag those too, so it allows you to associate them with your specific posts here or you could just choose none. I’m going to press continue there as well. Then it's going to go to work.
This will create eight posts for us for the first two weeks of December. They'll be on our calendar, and we could schedule them from here. I’m doing this kind of in real-time, right?
As long as you have those assets—maybe you’ve already created images and videos—you can go ahead and create the posts from here. They’re fully editable, so if you don’t like the AI-generated ones, you can jump in and make some tweaks. This just enables you to manage social media marketing, which I know a lot of business owners just don’t have time for right now.
Here’s a static image; here’s the caption—again, fully editable. You can see the big picture overview of the eight posts through the scheduler, and if I go to my monthly view for December, here’s everything that I have in draft mode. I can click on each one and make any edits to it.
Right now, this is only connected to my Instagram. So let me go back and show you that you can actually decide which social platforms you want to post to. You can post to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn all at the same time.
Just manage it, and it will let you link these. I only have my Instagram linked here since I’m doing this for someone else. I’ll need to link their account, and then it’s all set up.
You can get a nice overview of what these would look like too, taking social media marketing off your plate. Hopefully, this shows you the power of automation and what AI can do in this case. Okay, the next tool that comes in very handy is called Browse.
ai. This will let you extract or monitor any information on any website by creating these little AI bots, and it only takes a couple of minutes; it’s not technical. This was usually a very technical process before I discovered this tool, and this is one of my favorite parts.
They have pre-built bots, okay? So you could just look through a huge directory of different AI bots. For example, just look at this one: extracts job listings from LinkedIn, extracts app lists from Zapier, extracts properties from Redfin, right?
All kinds of different things you could do depending on your use case, or you could build your own custom one. So what I did was I created one to just pull down all our videos. I have maybe 2,000 videos across my YouTube channels, so I put in the YouTube channels.
I'll just show you quickly. So all you have to do with this one, for example, it says "Run a task now," and then you type in a channel URL right over here. You decide how many videos you want to scrape, so you could definitely lower this because this charges you based on the usage.
In this case, I ran it for a thousand videos, which in this case, there are only maybe two to three hundred videos on this channel. But then it will run the task, and when it was done, it created a whole table that I could extract as a CSV file. I could actually use AI, like CLA or ChatGPT, to analyze different things about it.
But you can see I've done it for multiple different channels now. And then when it's successful, it will show you, but it had all the rows, all the columns, and I mean, how many videos did I scrape here? Over five to six thousand different videos, and it took minutes with this bot.
Right? Literally, a few years ago, I had someone create an Excel sheet with all our videos, so we know when things need to be updated; we have just a good overview of the channel's health. Again, this is just for this YouTube channel.
The use case for Browse AI is massive because you could just use it across just about any website. For e-commerce, it could be a really useful tool. So I'll save this maybe for a different video because this is a really in-depth tool, but I just want to show you just a brief possibility of what you could do with this one.
Now, the next one is for people that may not have an updated website, or maybe you just don't like your existing website. Some people may not even have one already. So Durable is a great AI-powered website builder that I partnered with for this video to show you exactly how to build these websites in just 30 seconds, and they look really, really professional.
This one's linked in the description, so I'm going to go ahead and generate a website you could start for free, and it doesn't need a credit card, so you could see what it would look like. So I'll do one for my actual business, an AI education platform with AI courses. It's going to ask for your location because, obviously, a lot of small businesses are going to be local.
Mine is called Skill Leap AI. Let me generate that. Let me go ahead and create a free account here, and here's our first draft for the website.
So we got our headline: "Unlock Practical AI Education. " Okay, let me just scroll down. Oh, this is nice—a logo banner here.
I could put in new logos. It's showing some thumbnails for courses that I could replace with our own here. Okay, a very complete website here.
You could see it even added the pricing section—obviously, it didn't ask us for that. So this creates a really nice template FAQ. So this is pretty much like the version we have right now of the website, and the AI did it in 20 seconds.
I manually built it on a different platform myself before, so I could go ahead and customize it, and this lets you change the template if you want. So you could just choose from different options. Oh, I actually like this one!
Let me see what this one's going to look like. Ooh, this is kind of interesting! Oh, and the background is changing, so it's like a slideshow here.
I could go ahead and apply it. Let me see some of the other parts of it. All right, this looks pretty nice.
I'll just revert back to the other one. So they have tons of templates you could choose from. Here it looks like you could even generate more.
I'll go back to this page because you could just do normal editing too, so you don't have to use AI for some of this. You could just type in your own headline; it could regenerate new copy. So if you don't like the existing copy, you could give it here on this "regenerate" option, and then it will give you some options here, like simplify the writing, make it shorter.
The writing style here—you could even choose from this list of writing styles. Maybe "persuasive" would be good for a headline. And with any image here, you could go ahead and regenerate the image.
A lot of times, especially if you have an existing website, you probably have your own images. So you could go ahead and replace those, and they use GY images, which has some of the best royalty-free images that they license. They also have Unsplash.
Obviously, if you have a website, you might have your own, so you could just go ahead and click on "upload," drag it here—PNG, JPEG. Let me see if I choose this one instead. Let me insert that, and you could go ahead and regenerate other options.
Oh, this looks pretty good here! I'll include a link to Durable in the description below this video; you could go ahead and sign up from here. They also gave me a coupon code that I'll link in the description too, which will give you 30%.
Off 3 months now, the next one on the list is called Guide, and it helps you create how-to videos using AI. Sometimes I record using another app called Loom, and then I share that video. Loom has an AI function too, but Guide has something very unique that I like.
So if you go to Guide and press "Capture" right here, you could just press "Capture" and then name your how-to video. I'm going to call this "Uploading Courses. " Then you could tell it while you're capturing, "I'm doing a product how-to," but you could do employee training, customer onboarding, all that stuff here.
Press "Go," and it says it's about to start. So all you have to do once it gets started is go to whatever task that you're trying to get someone else to do for you; you're trying to teach someone how to do this. So I'm trying to teach someone how to upload our courses.
All I have to do is—I don't have to even talk through it—I just have to go through the process, and Guide in the background is recording. If you see in this little corner, it's recording all the different steps with a screenshot. Okay, so let me just fast forward through this.
Here, okay, now I'm going to go ahead and click "Done" right here on the bottom, and I'll go back to Guide. Guide is going to create an entire step-by-step how-to video for us that has both a video, and if you scroll down, it has all these sections. So it says right here, "The first step was to click 'Next' after you pick this, then you type in the name of the course here," and it kind of fills in all these sections for you.
So you could share this with someone—very easy to follow, very step-by-step. All these things were added by default, and it has a lot of functionality with what you could do with this video. For example, you could translate it, you could go ahead and edit the video and customize it a whole lot more.
You could add AI voiceover to it, so it generates voiceover, and you could pick from a list of speakers based on different countries using this transcript, which you could also type out yourself, and it will add that to the video. So a lot of different customizable options. You could also add your own branding to it.
So this one, again, as someone that makes tutorials on how-to videos, is a really interesting and useful tool, especially if you're working with more than just yourself. The next one I want to show you is for graphic design and for social media content creation, and this is called Adobe Express. This has been around for a while, but they totally revamped this to be more AI-focused.
They have a 100% free version of this, and they also have a paid version that gives you some premium features. This one does have a 30-day free trial. Now, if you have used Canva before for content creation or graphic design, this is an alternative to Canva from Adobe.
Because I pay for Adobe Creative Cloud (because I use Photoshop and I use Adobe Premiere for editing), I get Adobe Express by default. The premium version, even though the free version has a lot of useful things, is what I want to show you. Generate with AI—they have a bunch of different things you could do with AI.
So you could generate images; this is a text-to-image platform as well, which uses something called Adobe Firefly in the background—a really good image generator. You could remove backgrounds—the same company that makes Photoshop, so when it comes to removing any type of background, obviously, the best tool for that removes objects entirely. This is the one I wanted to show you, though; you could generate templates from a simple text prompt, and it gives you some really cool things.
Here, let me just choose this prompt: "New Yoga Studio Announcement. " Right, so you're typing in your text prompt. Okay, and look how good these look.
These are all different templates that I could customize. You could press "Generate More Results," and it'll give you more templates. So it's a really nice template builder, especially if you don't have design skills.
Okay, let's go ahead and pick this one here. This is a full editing platform here, so I'm going to load this template up right here. If you want to take any pieces here and add your own or remove the background, they have that option—erasing it, inserting objects.
I'm going to go ahead and delete this one and maybe insert my own logo over here, and everything is editable. You could just double-click on everything; you'll get other font options and other selections over here. They have this "Brands" tab over here, so you want to go ahead and add your own branding.
Then everything you create, you could just drag and drop your logo and things like that. Then when you're done with each creation like this, you could just press "Download" right on top. You could download it as a PNG.
Once it's downloaded, you can make multiple creations, and then you could do your entire flick campaign, for example—automate your social media marketing for the next month. You could create assets like this for your website, if you're using Durable to create your website, for example, using AI. So you can see all these tools could be blended together to create a really nice tech stack for you to automate a lot of different things or to speed up a lot of the tasks in your workflow.
Business! I also made another video to show you some other AI tools that I did not mention in this video, but I think a lot of those are going to be applicable for business owners and marketers too. I'll go ahead and link that video here.
Thanks for being adorable for sponsoring this video! I will catch you on the next one.
