Attention guys, look how cool! For today's video, we managed to place side by side three Samsung televisions launching for the year 2024. Here on this side we have the DU8000 television, here in the center we have the Q60D television and here on the other side the Q65D.
And the idea of this video is to make a side-by-side comparison between all these televisions to see in practice which is the best choice for you. And right away I wanted to start this video by saying that when I placed these three televisions side by side, I turned it on for the first time, right away I was scared and I was scared for the following reason. .
. The television here on this side In this case, the DU8000 is the cheapest television of all, while the Q60D and Q65D are slightly more expensive televisions as they are using QLED technology, technology which means that these two televisions are able to deliver a greater number of colors to the screen, making the image will be more beautiful this way. However, as you can already see through these images, when I turned on these three televisions, it was actually the DU8000 television, which is the cheapest television, which was giving us a much better image with much more accurate colors and a brightness that was also superior.
compared to the other two QLED televisions and this advantage for the DU8000 happened in several different contents, it happened on YouTube, it happened in streaming services such as Netflix or Disney Plus and it even happened playing PlayStation 5. But how can you imagine this gigantic advantage for DU8000 television shouldn't be happening because as I already told you, it is the cheapest TV and with less technology compared to the other two TVs next door. However, by testing these three televisions further I managed to discover the reason why the DU8000 TV was demonstrating this much higher image quality compared to the other two QLED televisions.
And the reason was the following, for some reason, I don't know, both the Q60D and Q65D televisions sometimes suffered from a bug that caused HDR videos to have very poor quality, as we demonstrated to you up to this point and I know that this problem that I am reporting here will probably worry some people but I would say that there is no need to be so worried as there are two ways to solve this problem. The first way you can try to resolve this issue is to turn the television on and off using the remote control itself. By doing this, the problem will most likely be resolved.
However, during our tests, turning the television on and off was not always enough to get the TV back to normal, so we often had to do the following: we had to turn off the TV using the remote control and then unplug the TV. from the socket and plugging it back into the socket, doing this always solved the problem. In fact, at this moment you are seeing a before and after image on both QLED televisions and that image where we put the caption after is right after I unplugged the television and put it back.
And when I did this, as you can clearly see, they were much better. And it's worth mentioning that although it's easy to solve this problem, the ideal would be for Samsung to do some kind of update to 100% solve this problem because whether you like it or not, it ends up being a bit annoying having to keep turning the TV off and on or taking it off and putting it back on. it comes from the socket and as we have two different televisions with the same problem, it would be really interesting for Samsung to do some updating.
And I personally believe that they will soon make an update because last year I had tested a Samsung TV that had exactly the same problem and as far as I know the problem was resolved on last year's TV, so I believe that probably It's just a matter of time before Samsung releases an update to 100% resolve this issue. But continuing our comparison here , after I solved this little problem on both the Q60D and Q65D TVs, did they manage to surpass the DU8000 TV here on the other side? So guys, I confess to you that even after I resolved these problems on both televisions, QLED, I was still surprised by the result because the three televisions delivered images that were extremely similar in most of the scenes tested, as you are already seeing through these different images.
So if by chance you were worried that perhaps one of these televisions would have a much worse or much better quality compared to each other, in relation to that I would say that you don't need to worry because according to our tests in most scenes When actually tested, the three televisions were demonstrating very similar quality. However, it is important to highlight that despite being similar, the quality of these three televisions is obviously not 100% identical. Testing here live, I can even notice that the Q65D television manages to deliver a little more brightness compared to the other two televisions.
So if you are going to place the TV in a brighter environment, perhaps going for the Q65D as it has that extra brightness would be interesting. Anyway, it's not an absurd brightness compared to others, you know, but whether you like it or not, it's an advantage it has compared to the other two TVs. Another difference that exists between these three televisions is in the color saturation, which could vary slightly depending on the scene, for example, in several scenes tested, the QLED Q65D television had the tendency to leave the characters' faces and skin with a darker tone.
a little more reddish as you can see in these scenes. In any case, I believe that these small differences for most people should not be a cause for much concern. And at this point in the video it is important to highlight that despite the image quality of these three televisions being very similar, there was a point where the DU8000 television and the Q60D TV back here managed to have a big advantage compared to the Q65D TV.
But before I mention to you what advantage these two televisions have compared to the Q65D, I would like to remind you that the three TVs that are here behind me we bought with the channel's own money precisely to bring this type of video here for you, so if you are enjoying the content, don't forget to like this video, this is super, ultra and mega important for us. Also, make sure you are subscribed here to the channel so you don't miss the next videos. And if you could also leave a comment here on this video, I would greatly appreciate it as your comment also helps a lot with the engagement of the video here on YouTube.
Furthermore, if by any chance you are really thinking about buying a new TV, I'm sure you want to save money, so here's a super tip for you! Here below, in the description field, we will be placing the official link of our WhatsApp and Telegram group and for those who don't know it, every day there we offer various products, especially televisions, so whenever a TV appears with an actual Good offer in a reliable store, we are always letting you know. And it's free to enter and participate, the link will be here in the description field so we're waiting for you there!
But continuing our triple comparison here, as I was telling you, there is a point where the TV DU8000 and Q60D have a great advantage compared to the Q65D, which is in the issue of light leakage, which in this sense, these two televisions here manage to deliver to us a very good result if we take into account the category and price of these televisions. The Q65D TV has more light leaks, so as you can see through these images, notice that on the edges of the television it is easier to see light leaks compared to the two TVs on the other side that can deliver us a result that is much more competent in this regard. However, it is always worth emphasizing that this issue of light leakage can vary a little from unit to unit, so if someone buys the Q65D for example, perhaps it will be better than ours in terms of light leakage.
So this issue , unfortunately, can vary a bit, but if you compare the TVs we are testing here, without a doubt the DU8000 and the Q60D had a great advantage in terms of light leakage. And still talking about image quality, what can we say now in relation to the viewing angle of these TVs? In relation to this, all three televisions are using a VA type panel and what does that mean?
It means that you can even see the televisions from a more lateral angle, however if you see the TV from a more lateral angle the image becomes whiter and a little more opaque as you can see through these images that you are seeing now. So in the case of these three televisions, the ideal is for you to watch as close as possible so that you can actually get the maximum quality from these three TVs. So as we can see so far in terms of image quality, the three televisions are really very similar, at least they were very similar in most of the scenes tested and it is worth mentioning that these three televisions have five pre-defined image modes that you may be making selections when using the TV and in the case of our tests we tested the television in both standard mode and film mode, which is a mode that tries to deliver more natural colors to us.
In fact, at this moment you are seeing some transition images between standard mode and film mode so you can take a look and see which of these images and which of these modes you prefer. But it's worth mentioning that regardless of the image mode we were watching, the three televisions really remained very similar. However, in addition to the image quality that we have been talking about so far, there are other important elements that it is important for us to compare here to decide which TV is best to choose, such as their sound quality.
And regarding sound quality, the three TVs have exactly the same specifications, which in this case is a power of 20 Watts, which is the same power that we basically see in most entry-level TVs on the market, but despite having the same specifications, testing here live, I thought the Q65D's sound was a little superior compared to the other two televisions because it had a little more bass and was a little more balanced. However, it is worth mentioning that this difference in sound that I am reporting here to you may be due to the fact that these TVs are different in size. For example, the QLED Q65D has a size of 55" inches while the other two televisions have a size of 50" inches and although the sound specifications are identical, the fact that the QLED Q65D is a little larger can cause the sound to reverberate and propagates in a slightly different way in our environment and that's why perhaps I have this perception that it is a little bigger.
But anyway, in terms of sound quality, I don't think this is a very relevant point for you to decide between one television or another. But still commenting here about the audio quality, I'll even leave you a tip here, which in this case would be to put these three televisions in sound mode and amplify it in this way, the sound gets louder while maintaining basically the same quality and at least I preferred it that way, so I believe it's worth it for you to do the tests at your home. In any case, it's worth mentioning that the sound of these televisions isn't anything ultra-incredibly magical, you know, it's an OK sound quality for their price range.
And the next topic that I separated here for this video is in relation to the operating system and once again here at this point they are very similar. . .
The three are using the same operating system which is Samsung's own Tyzen system which is a system super complete in terms of applications. And regarding the fluidity of the operating system, the three responded well in their price range, it's nothing like super, ultra and mega fast but in general they responded well above average compared to other televisions in this price range, so here it's OK. And it's worth mentioning that in terms of fluidity I didn't feel any difference between the three televisions.
And still talking about the operating system that Samsung uses on its TVs, this system has some interesting differences, such as the Samsung TV Plus application that is available on all three televisions. And for those who don't know, this is an application that is already downloaded and installed on television and through this application we can watch several cable TV channels completely for free. So what we need is to simply turn on the television and connect it to the internet and that way we can access several cable TV channels for free.
And another cool difference here with the Samsung TV system is that it already has official support for the Xbox application, which for those who don't know it, is an application that allows us to play Xbox games via the internet without needing the console. physically. So what we need is to turn on the TV, connect it to the internet, we also need an Xbox subscription in the Xbox app which if I'm not mistaken is R$49 and we also need a controller with Bluetooth to connect to the TV and this way we already have access to a very large library of New Generation games.
Even here we can play everything via the internet without the need to physically buy the console. And taking advantage of the fact that I talked now about games, which of these three televisions is best for gamers? In this regard, the three TVs are basically the same in terms of specifications, so all three have a refresh rate of 60 Hz and do not have technologies such as example VRR and freesync.
However, if I were to buy one of these three televisions to play video games, I would prefer one of the two QLED TVs as they have a special gamer bar located at the bottom of the television that we can use to access some extra features that are not present here on the DU8000 TV, so through this Gamer bar we can, for example, change and modify the image quality of the television much more easily when we are playing video games, we can even put a crosshair in the center of the screen that may be interesting for some players and another thing that we can do with QLED televisions is change the screen aspect ratio to 21 by 9 or 32 by 9 in PC games that are compatible with these screen proportions. And still talking about games, it's worth mentioning that the extra brightness that the QLED Q65D has sometimes gave a nice highlight to the image during video games, as you can see in these comparative images next to the Q60D TV. Now in relation to the look and general design of these three televisions, once again they are very similar, the biggest difference is that the Q65D television has a central base as you can see, while the other two televisions have those bases that are located in each corner of the television, but otherwise they are very similar.
And the three TVs are extremely thin for their category. It's worth mentioning that even the connectivity of these three televisions is the same and they all have support for dual band Wi-Fi, HDMI eARC and also support for Bluetooth. And now talking about the remote control of these three televisions, once again they are identical and the remote control follows a very similar style to last year's, so it's a super tiny control that here on the back we have a kind of solar plate so it is the control that works without the use of batteries, so the light from the lamp in your house that hits the control here is already used to charge it, the sunlight is also used to charge the control but if you prefer it can also be used to charge via USB cable here at the bottom.
And all three controls have the advantage of not needing batteries. But anyway, guys, after we saw this lot of information, which TV is most worth buying? Which television would I buy?
So guys, during the tests I confess to you that I was quite surprised with the result because the three televisions delivered an image quality that was very similar and I was already expecting that a little, however I believed that the advantage of the two televisions QLED would be a little bigger however in practice the three televisions were very similar in terms of image quality and in reality in other topics they were also very similar. Anyway, before I tell you which of these three televisions I I would choose just remembering once again if you are thinking about buying a new television and want to save money don't forget to join our official WhatsApp and Telegram group the link will be below in the description field and by purchasing there you will be helping On our channel, we monitor the main stores in Brazil and whenever a TV appears with a really good offer in a reliable store, we are always letting you know. And it's free to enter and participate, so we'll wait for you there.
But then, if I had to choose one of these three televisions to help with the choice, I would do the following: if I were a person who wasn't very picky about image quality, that kind of thing, basically for me, I would definitely go for cheapest television Regardless of which television it was because the three televisions as we showed here in most of the scenes were extremely similar. However, if you are going to place the television in an environment that is better lit, in this particular case it would be interesting to perhaps go with the QLED Q65D television because as we said and showed here in this video for you, depending on the image we were testing the We could see that the QLED Q65D delivered a little more brightness to us compared to the other two TVs. Okay, the difference wasn't that huge, but the brighter the better if you're going to place the TV in a brighter environment.
However , if this extra brightness of the Q65D is not a huge advantage for you, perhaps it would be more interesting to go for the DU8000 television or the QLED Q60D television that is here behind me, because as we showed you here in this video, they are much better in terms of light leakage. So if this issue of black level light leakage is something that worries you, these two televisions will most likely, at least based on our tests here, deliver better quality. However, as we have already mentioned previously, it is worth mentioning that the issue of light leakage can vary slightly from unit to unit.
So if you go for the Q65D, for example, you might be lucky and get one that has little or no light leakage, so unfortunately this is a little thing that will vary your luck a little. And if by chance you are going to use the television for games, I would personally prefer one of the two QLED televisions for the reasons I already told you here in this video. But anyway guys, so this was the video, we hope you liked it.
Thank you very much to all of you who made it to the end of this video, we hope you enjoyed it and if you liked the content, don't forget to like it, it is extremely important to help with the video's engagement.
