I am fully convinced that all we need in order to change our life is a one month monk mode one month of locking in on your goals and dreams but most importantly locking in on yourself because I understand that not everybody has goals or dreams yet but what you do have is yourself and what you need to do is you need to build a routine daily habits a task list a priority list on what you can do to make your life better better than it is right now and my promise to you is at the
end of this video you will also believe that one month of Monk mode can change your life forever because the truth is it changed mine what does it mean to be monk mode well what that means is Purpose Driven right it means that you're locking in it means you're not focused on anything that's not adding value into your life it means you are eliminating all distractions distractions is going to stop you from becoming the man that you were always meant to be distractions are going to stop you from being great distractions are going to stop
you from reaching your full potential distractions are going to stop you from being purpose-- driven dist distractions are going to stop you from completing that routine that you so desperately need to get you to the next level in life distractions is what stops everybody from accomplishing their goals and dreams because they get distracted they get distracted a lot of people say fear is what stops people from achieving their goals and dreams well I'll tell you they're distracted from that one moment of failure they hark on that they keep thinking about that that's all they focus
on and they become distracted with that instead of focusing on the main goal and understanding that it's all a journey it's all a process and if they forget that it's all a journey and it's all a process and they keep thinking about failure or they keep thinking about how they messed up in the past then they'll never truly reach their full potential now will they no because they'll quit and so being on monk mode being Purpose Driven means that you're not quitting you're choosing to go through with this for the next four weeks what are
you choosing to go through you're choosing to be your greatest self you're choosing you for the first time in your life some of you guys will be choosing you I'll explain what that means but right now I would like you to declare in the comment section put I'm choosing me I'm choosing me right what does it mean to choose yourself what it means to choose yourself means that when your friends are saying let's go party which is a distraction because that's not going to help you get towards your goals and dreams you're finally going to
say no I cannot when that phone is ringing but you know that phone call is only only going to bring you pain and misery right for once you put your phone on D and for once you decide to not answer the phone for once you say yes to you right I choose me for once you choose yourself for once you choose yourself right when distractions are are coming into your life left and right you're saying no no no no you are figuring out what's for you and what's not for you anything that does not add
value is not for you anything that's taking you away from your goals and dreams is not for you anything that's making it difficult for you to be consistent and disciplined within your life is not for you anything that doesn't want to see you win anyone that doesn't want to see you become the greatest version of yourself is not for you and they do not deserve to be in your life anybody that does not understand that you are operating other this new found journey of self-improvement becoming your greatest self right following habits following a routine if
they don't understand that then they don't need to be around you they're only going to distract you from your goal and what is your goal for the next four weeks being the greatest version of yourself which means that you're keeping your promises when you make promises to yourself you're actually fulfilling those promises you said you're going to start going to the gym well now was your time to go to the gym now is your time to prove to yourself that you can be consistent now is that time you promised that you weren't going to party
anymore you promised that you were going to stop Doom scrolling on social media and when you do use social media it's going to be for positivity you made those promises to yourself well now you need to keep those promises now you need to make it happen in order to be the greatest version of yourself you have to choose yourself you have to finally choose you that's what it means to be in monk mode it is all about you bettering yourself right you're focused on yourself for once you're focused on you you're focused on how great
you can be you're keeping the promises that you made but how can you keep promises if you never made them some of you have never made them so right now I would like you to take out a sheet of paper and I would like you to make four promises to yourself it can it can be I will be consistent in the gym it can be I will watch inspirational and motivational things on social media only right I don't want to be entertained anymore I want to learn something something educational a audio book right something I
will be learning these next four weeks right I'll be walking 10,000 steps outside these next four weeks okay and I will be developing something that I want to develop something that works with my purpose if you want to be an author that means that you'll start writing that book if you want to be a content creator that means that you'll start making content of your own right it's time for you to do the things that you know you need to do to help get you to the next level so you have to make a list
of promises that you'll keep to yourself right it can also be a priority list what what what are the priorities that you have in your life you need to create one of those as well well it's a priority for me to provide for myself and my family it's a priority for me to take care of my health right it's a priority for me to build a strong relationship with God it's a priority for me to wake up every day and choose to be the greatest version of me that's a priority for me and if that's
a priority then you literally have to prioritize that and that's what's going to build your task list okay your task list are the things that you do on an everyday basis these are your habits this is what's going to make your day so you start off and you wash your face right you brush your teeth you take a shower you go to the gym go outside take your 10,000 steps right you read that audio book you work on your dreams you work on your passions this should be a to-do list that you're doing each and
every day that's what you need to make so you have to have promises that you're making to yourself you have to have promises that you're making to yourself because you're finally showing up for yourself so that's the first list that you'll be making promises that you are making to yourself then you're going to create a priority list things that are important to you things that are non-negotiables things that you believe you should be working on each and every day to get you to the next level things that you know you need to be working on
things such as motivation such as discipline right things that require that requires that discipline requires the hard work right it could be learning it could be reading books it could be working out and then through your priority list things that are important to you you have your task list right well if family is important to you you're going to need consistency and discipline to make sure that you're keeping up with your priority list so now you need to make sure that you're calling family multiple times a week to check up on them right right if
if working out is important to you well then you need to make sure that you're going to the gym each and every day and you're being consistent you're doing some sort of physical activity that's what's going to create at your task list because your health is a priority your relationships is a priority so going monk mode some people think you're just not talking to anybody you're eliminating all distractions you can talk to your family you can talk to your friends I'm not saying that you can't talk to anybody I'm saying if you're speaking to somebody
and they are distracting you from your main mission and goal then that is not someone that you should be talking to is that fair right right if you're watching content online that's not helping you become the best version of yourself then that might not be content that you want to indulge in is that fair that's what monk mode means eliminating all distractions and going all in on your goals and dreams and the things that are important to you the things that you want to prioritize which means monk mode for me will look very different when
it comes to monk mode for you we're both locking in on two different things but at the end of the day we're both what locking in we're both Purpose Driven we're both doing what we need to do so we can get to where we want to go in this thing that we call life you just need one month you just need one month one month can change your life one one we think we need so many things in order to change our life we think that we need to do something so dramatic and some people
will call you dramatic for being on monk mode for taking life serious but to me that's not dramatic at all that's life life should be taken seriously you know I grew up in environments where a lot of people you know you're lucky if you make your past 25 you're lucky if you make your past 18 you lucky if you make it to College you're lucky if you accomplish your goals and dreams you're lucky if anything good happens to you right my mom worked super hard to make sure that the the the bills were paid to
make sure that we have food to eat but the one thing that she couldn't change was the environment we just couldn't change that that was where we were able to live and that's where we afford but she taught me something and she said you know one day I will change the environment which she did she did and my little brother is growing up in a better place now right because she put the work in right but she said what we can change is how we conduct ourselves and what we decide to do with the life
that we have right so the environment that I was in a lot of people smoked weed all day I could have picked up that habit but I didn't I decided not to I wanted better for myself not saying that weed is good or bad but what I'm saying is it can distract you from the goal it can slow you down because that's what it's meant to do slow you down make you relax some people are relaxed all day long right not getting the work not doing the things that they need to do in order to
make their life better so if you are in an environment right now and you can't change it the first thing that you have to understand is you have to change yourself that's what's most important you don't have to be a product of your environment you don't have to be like your environment you can choose to be something totally different you can choose to be better than your environment you have the power to be better than your environment right so of course we we have to put the work in we have to decide that we want
better for ourselves no matter where you are no matter where you live no matter who you are just like like my mom said you are the leader of your life you have to decide the life that you want to live you have to decide the life that you want to live right are you going to be the best version of yourself or the worst version of yourself that depends on you that depends on you one month can change your life no matter the environment you're in it's no excuse it's no excuse right it doesn't matter
your environment it doesn't matter who you are as long as you want to make your life better you can make your life better you can create these successful habits to make your life better you can create that list of promises that you're going to keep to yourself to make your life better you can focus on that priority list things that truly matter to you and build your task list around that to make your life better the advice that I gave you guys today what we spoke about today it doesn't require money it doesn't require you
to do anything special it doesn't require you to be anybody other than yourself it doesn't require you to be in a new environment it just requires you to finally focus on you to dig deep within who you are and ask yourself who do you want to be and what life you want to live mon mode is a journey within it's a journey within I'm not asking for anything but your attention on this right here brothers please family monk mode is a journey within where you finally get to ask yourself what is important what do I
need to prioritize what distractions do I need to get rid of all of them and how can I further my life how can I further my life what needs to be on my task list each and every day so I can finally further my life and make my life the life that I deserve make my life better make my life better than it is today what can I do in order to do that you have to make that promise to yourself you have to let yourself know yeah we will be healthier we will create healthy
habits that's a promise create that priority list create that task list again you're making promises to yourself create that list of promises what are you promising yourself this month I promise to be consistent I promise to be disciplined I promise to give life my all okay good very good right now go ahead and create that list create that next list what's that next list the next list is what brothers the next list is the priority list now I'm creating a priority list I'm creating a priority list so I know what matters to me what's most
important to me what I truly care about now that we have that priority list guess what brothers now we're going to create a task list so I know what I need to do each and every god-given day I don't want to waste another day on this Earth because we understand how precious life is we understand how important life is we understand how grateful we have to be for life itself so we're not going to waste another day which means I'm going to create a task list so I'm a aware of the work that I am
doing each and every day and it's going to get me closer to my goals and dreams and in the process of this we we're on monk mode we're doing monk mode which means we're eliminating all distractions anything that doesn't serve us has to go anything that doesn't make us better it has to go away I think y'all got it should I say it one more time keeping promises to yourself right keep those promises make sure you make those promises come true create a list of promises create a priority list create a task list eliminate all
distractions your life will look drastically different in one month all you have to do is give yourself one month and here's the truth you're not going to only want to do it for one month you're going to want to do it forever you're going to want to keep on doing it it's going to become addictive I've done it and I haven't got I haven't gotten off of it I don't want to get off of it because if I get off of it what am I getting off of my purpose my purpose my purpose deserves my
full attention my purpose deserves me to show up for myself each and every day and here's the truth here's here's the truth let's talk about it rest is important rest is part of that purpose too giving yourself Grace taking a break having rest I'm not not telling you to not rest right I'm not telling you to not take care of yourself those things are important those things are needed on the mission to being our greatest self we need rest we need to take care of ourselves we need to make sure that our mental health is
good that our overall health is good we need that right like I need you to know that you will reach your goals and dreams but no matter what happens I love you guys and I believe in you guys and at the end of the day the fact that you still gave it your effort that's what matters right like that those things matter how you feel about yourself you need to tell that to yourself don't let me just say that for you say that to yourself hey no matter what happens in this month whether it work
works or not and I truly believe that it will work right I still love me I still love myself I'm choosing myself for once in my life I'm choosing me but I love myself whether this works or not whether I reach my goals or not I love myself I respect myself for even trying when most people don't even try when most people don't even believe in themselves enough to try I did I tried I love myself for that so again I want you to know no matter what happens brother I love you I believe in
you and I'm proud of you for choosing to be purpose-driven for choosing to take life serious for choosing to lock in right for choosing to lock in all you need is 30 days so you could really start to see how you feel sometimes the results is not tangible it's not physical it's not going to be seen in this Physical Realm but you can feel it in the inner realm you can feel it in here you can feel it in here you can feel that you're getting better same way you go to the gym you just
feel better before you see the results you may not see the results right away but the fact that you're active the fact that you're going to the gym the fact that you're consistent guess what you just you just feel better it's like I feel better I went to the gym for the first time in in three years four years whatever it is guys right and you finally go to that gym that first day that guy is going to feel better he feels better and it's up to him to be consistent and understand that if he
can do it once he can do it again and again and again and that's when you'll start to see results so this first month you may not see results but you'll you'll get a different result and here and you'll begin to feel better you'll begin to feel better about your life about where your life is going about where you're taking your own life I can't take your life anywhere for you you have to take your life serious and when you take your life serious you're going to make promises to yourself you're going to promise yourself
that you're disciplined you're going to promise yourself that you're consistent you're going to promise yourself that you're going to show up for yourself you start to make promises to yourself and you start to keep those promises which means you start to make it happen you start to make it happen you start to keep those promises you start to prioritize the things that matter in your life right and you start to have that task list of things that you need to do each and every day to get you to where you want to go you start
to have that task list of working out and being consistent going for a walk doing the things that you need to do to get you to the level of what you need to reach you start to lock in you start to lock in on you you start to understand how amazing you are you know we always put limits on oursel even though we were made by the Limitless we were made by God but we put limits on ourselves even though we were made in His image we put limits on ourselves we try to limit what
we can do we try to limit what we're capable of we put limits on oursel well there's no limits on me I have no limits what's meant for me is meant for me and I'm going to put the work in in order to make it happen right there's there's no limits oh you can't fly that's a limit right there well let's make it happen let's try and if I jump in the air I was flying for one second right I I'm flying it's my version of flying laugh all you want call me corny I'm flying
right it don't got to look like how a bird flies but that's how I fly do it your way carve out your own path change your perspective on life change your outlook on life change how you see things this month is going to transform you forever it's not here to make you the same it's here to make you better learn every day learn something new every day I hope that's in one of your priorities to to to self-educate I hope you put that in there right to each his own mine could mine is different from
yours I'm not trying to tell you what to have but I do think it's important to have self-education right so I want you guys to know that I love you guys man I appreciate you guys man I'm rooting for you guys and I believe in you guys so much keep going may this month bring you many many many blessings whenever you're watching this the next 30 to 31 days it's all you focus on you focus on the things that matter prioritize the things that matter it's time it's time for you to finally focus on you
