sales and marketing are lifeblood of your freelancing and service business and if you're unable to get clients consistently as per your projections month after month then your service business and you as a Founder will suffer in this video I'm going to be talking about the right approach for lead generation in a service business then I'm going to be talking about all the ways that I use at my six figure agency to get clients consistently and if you stick till the end of the video I'm going to be revealing my entire marketing funnel that we have
used at our company to make thousands ofll s in monthly Revenue in the last one year so without wasting any time let's get into it now I read it somewhere that the most important rule of a service business is that every client will leave you eventually and this really hit me hard so it doesn't matter how good of a job you are doing as a service business owner eventually all of your clients that you have today are going to leave you if you're watching this video chances are you do sales and marketing you get a
couple of clients you get all excited you stop sales and marketing until one random morning two of your major clients reply to you and be like hey we do not want to continue working with you and everything breaks down in your life you get all anxious and again run behind getting new clients and it's only after that you start your sales and marketing again and I have been there I have done this mistake a lot of times as a service business owner and a freelancer but if you're watching this video you do not have to
repeat the same silly mistakes that I made what you really need is a consistent sales and marketing system in your business I'll repeat it again you you need consistent sales and marketing systems in your business it doesn't matter even if you're unable to fulfill them in the moment build a queue of clients and Prospects that if not today you can work with in the future so you're always at peace your lead generation and Marketing Systems should never stop now let me tell you five of the main ways that I use to get clients at my
six figure Agency number one is personalized cold Outreach I really think it is one of the most underrated of getting clients in the entire agency space what we do is we go to the Internet we research people creators entrepreneurs and Founders we have a look at the profiles and it's only when we think we are able to help them if we will be able to bring value on the table for them we create a highly resourced loom video explaining how we can help them what value we can bring on the table for them and how
our system looks like and we reach out to them via emails very simple very manual takes a lot of time takes a lot of high quality research and if you just do it for even let's say three people a day for a month we able to close three to four clients a month right so if you're just starting out if you're a beginner this is one of the most important ways you can get clients today and make a lot of money forget about all the other things just focus on this and I promise you if
you just do this consistently for the next 6 months and if you keep improving the type of loom videos that you will be creating and you are reaching out to people you will never run out of clients and the work that you would want as a freelancer and as a agency owner number two is cod Outreach and volume this is one of the method that we have used a lot in the past we made a lot of money using this so what we used to do is we used to get a list of thousands and
thousands of people in our target market it could be from LinkedIn it could be from tools like Apollo it could be from tools like instantly and then we'll use a Outreach automation tool like instantly I have used instantly all my life in the last 2 years and what instantly allow us to do is it allow us to send thousands of emails every day in our target market so email is something that everybody uses everybody opens up so if you can write good email and follow-up sequences to thousands of people every day our chances of making
ourselves visible in our target market increases significantly now this has helped us close clients like Shopify I have literally closed uh Shopify as a client with my Massy cold Outreach campaign I never did any personalization for them until they replied back to me at first okay but if you're just starting out I will not recommend this because this takes a lot of marketing knowledge it takes a lot of setup it takes some cost of buying the tools and Lead lists so if it's starting out do not focus on this but if you're at a stage
in your company where you think that if you reach out to people in a target market at scale you think there is an opportunity and there is a market that not a lot of people have tapped into I would highly recommend using this in our company we have been slowing down on this a bit because we work with entrepreneurs and creators and literally everybody have the same uh data list of these people like we do so it has been getting really hard for us to kind of you know penetrate the walls of the prospects and
for those reasons we have been focusing a lot more on personalized cold Outreach as compared to Massi email cold Outreach campaigns number three is social media inbound we create content on LinkedIn Twitter Instagram I'm a Creator on Instagram I create content on YouTube like this here so every now and then people would watch my videos they would read our content they will have a look at our case studies and they will reach out to us in the DMS or in the emails and they would want to work with us they would need our help in
helping them grow their personal brand on YouTube and Instagram so that's the way we have used to get a lot of clients in the company and this is one of the most potent ways of getting clients but when you're starting out when you have no money I will not recommend you starting by creating content because content creation is a long-term process and getting organic leads from content takes years if not takes a lot of months if not years so if money is your priority at the movement I will not recommend starting with inbow content creation
for lead generation in agency we have been doing it for months and months now and it has been working really great for us but I would say again start with cold Outreach and then diversify into let's say inbound content creation for your company number four is advertising we run ads on Google YouTube Facebook and Instagram every now and then not very consistently but we have our own marketing funnels and backend systems where we get people in our funnel we we give them lead magnets for free or maybe we ask them to book a call directly
with us we have a landing page where there is a virtual sales letter that people go through if they like what they see they book a call we get them the call we do Discovery call we schedule another sales call where we will be presenting the entire strategy for them and we close clients okay so advertising has helped us grow our company very rapidly but the thing with advertising is that it requires a lot of skin in the game it requires your understanding of how video ads are supposed to be scripted uh your ad should
be well edited and on top of that you need to have a very good budget for experimentation and advertising because you're not going to get leads on day number one you will have to spend and burn a lot of money for a couple of months to be able to see some good results so that's way number four which is advertising that we have been using in my six figer Agency number five and probably one of the most potent and one of the most effortless way of getting clients in our company is referrals we reach out
to our existing clients and we ask them to give us referals okay a lot of people think that their existing clients will give them referrals on their own yes sometimes that happens but it is your responsibility as a company and as a Founder to reach out to your existing clients and it is also wise to reach out to them ask them hey like we are looking for more clients if you have somebody in your network if you know some of your colleagues or friends who are looking for the same services please give us the referal
if you give us the referral we'll give you some discount on your invoice for the next month and we'll also give them some discount if they start working with us from your referral this allow our existing clients to invest their energy because they are getting something in return and so they have their skin in the game and they kind of you know put more Focus towards it and because of that it becomes a win-win situation referrals is one of the most important way because it is Word of Mouth marketing and we literally do not have
to close prospects who come to us from referrals because we just gotten the call they like okay what's your budget you know how are the package is looking like and they're like okay send me the invoice easiest effortless way of scaling the company if you already have couple of clients or even four to five clients or even 10 clients just reach out to your existing clients ask for referals and get their skin in the game most importantly because otherwise they have no incentive to reach out to their Network and you know do word of M
mouth marketing for you so I think referrals is one of the most important ways of getting clients My Philosophy as a service business owner is to always diversify my lead generation and client acquisition sources because that's the only way to predictably build the company in the long run if you're relying on one to two client acquisition sources and you're not diversifying on random day you would realize that okay your leads have stopped coming inside your marketing funnel in your company's funnel and because of that you will again end up in a situation where you will
have a lot of churn and you will have to kind of you know face the days where you're not making enough money at your agency and you will struggle right so please diversify and start slow do not diversify across all the different fronts right at the start because that will take a lot of energy you will always be switching from one thing to another pick one build it make sure it is sustainable and then move to another and if you're looking to get high paying clients using cold Outreach personalized cold outre and Massi cold outre

check it out guys so as you can see on the screen this is my complete marketing funnel that I'm going to be revealing to you we'll go part by part so let's start by the lowest hanging fruit which is referrals in this scenario so the idea is simple everybody who refer us to somebody else we basically send them our call booking link the booker Discovery call with us if they are qualified we book another follow-up sales call with them and we kind of pitch them our onetime offer or recurring service okay if they're not qualified
we kind of pitch them for our done with you program or we will refer them to somebody else if there is objection of pricing and if they cannot basically afford our services right the second method in the funnel is paid ads for the rest of the world now this is something that I have been recently working on the idea is that we'll post a lot of instam reels on Instagram with manager Automation and at the end we'll push people to kind of comment a particular word and we'll kind of give them away our free lead
magnets now all these lead magnets are only going to be relevant for people who are trying to build the personal brand using videos that is on YouTube and Instagram okay so we are only targeting the right people once they get the lead magnet we'll be adding them to our email flows where we will be giving them more value we'll be nurturing them and eventually we'll be pitching them to book a call with us and so they will be directed to vssl landing page where there is a video sales letter if they're qualified they'll book The
call we send them a lot of pre- call Flow emails using calendly the booker Discovery call if they're qualified again sales call then we pitch them and close them on onetime offer and recurring Services okay this is something that I'm currently testing so let's see how it goes but I'm very bullish on this this would work and might work the Third Way is content at the moment which is we are creating content on Instagram LinkedIn Twitter and YouTube every now and then on all the platforms we'll be putting the links of our lead magnets in
the description in the captions in the link in by iOS so people download that and once people download the lead magnet they again entered to our email flows so we nurture them even more give them more value pitch them on our you know done with you program or done for you program which is our main service so they book The call we do sales call and we close them okay so that's like the content another one is Outreach so the idea of Outreach is we do a lot of cold emails and we do prospecting in
DMS so we use LinkedIn Twitter Instagram and YouTube where we'll be sending DMS to people and the idea is that we will not push them to directly book The Call with us but instead we'll send them a unique mechanism by creating a loom video by by doing a proper research on their business and explaining the process and how we can help them and bring the value on table for them once they watch the loom video at the end of the Loom video we'll push them to book a call with us so if they're qualified to
book the call again the same process Discovery call sales call we pitched them on our onetime offer if that feels relevant if not if they're excited and ready we directly pitch them on our recurring Services okay so that's Outreach and then there is ads that we running in India now what we realized in India is that we can directly direct people to a hybrid funnel where there is a lead magnet and video sales letter which push people to book a call directly now usually it's very hard in any advertising campaign outside India to run ads
and directly push people to book call because that's just lot of resistance over there uh and people do not want to book calls with random unknown strangers and so usually anywhere if you see and learn about ads they will ask you to not book the calls directly ly but direct people to lead magnet so they can download it and you can get people and leads in your funnel and then you over a period of time nurture them and they eventually book a call with you but in India we saw that directly people were booking the
call so we thought okay we'll create a hybrid funnel where they can uh they have a choice of directly booking the call and they can also get the lead magnet if they do not want to book a call okay so this is my entire marketing funnel guys this is what we have been kind of executing every month and it has been getting some great results for us so yeah that's the marketing funnel I hope you like the video if you did make sure you like the video subscribe the channel if you're watching me for the
