the hum of alien Machinery filled the vast Council chamber a place where the greatest minds of the Galaxy convened holographic Maps floated before them depicting the far reaches of the known universe the Elder gods of the galactic Council ancient powerful beings stood in solemn silence all except one the most senior of them a being whose presence alone seemed to warp the very fabric of space glared down at a single distorted image the image was that of Earth why have we not yet eradicated this infestation the voice of ariar one of the oldest of the Elder
Gods rumbled like distant Thunder their primitive species continues to spread unchecked their technology is rudimentary and yet they defy us why have they not been eliminated around the council table various alien species shifted uneasily their many eyes flickering with unease but none spoke not even the youngest of the Gods who had never been as troubled by the human threat enough ariar continued his voice echoing across the chamber I will put an end to this pestilence I will burn their planet to Cinders and their people will learn their place the youngest of the council a being
of translucent skin and glowing light leaned forward its ethereal form trembling ariar you do not understand you've never encountered their kind before what do you mean arar's voice was colder now the air growing heavy with the tension of impending conflict the younger God spoke cautiously almost hesitantly I I have been studying them their history their actions we have underestimated them for Millennia the council's chambers fell into an eerie silence broken only by the soft hum of energy resonating within the walls the younger God continued humans are more than they appear they are not simply resilient
arar they adapt they evolve they fight and when they fight they do not stop until they win at this several of the Elder Gods laughed you speak of them as though they are some force of nature we are gods they are nothing one of them scoffed but the younger Gods eyes shown brighter and a ripple of unease passed through the room it's true I've seen their history they Survived the Great Purge an extermination campaign of an Empire far older and far more powerful than even our own and they did not just survive they fought back
they destroyed the Invaders and not just that they learned from their mistakes they grew stronger there was a moment of stunned silence and then arar's voice broke through like a bolt of lightning this is absurd you are speaking of a primitive species that could not even defeat its own world leaders just a century ago the younger God shook their head you do not understand they are on the cusp of something unimaginable and we must be cautious if we underestimate them they will make us regret it the room filled with murmurs as the council members exchanged
uneasy glances some were skeptical others unnerved the history of the Elder Gods was one of near unimaginable power and the thought that humans flesh and blood creatures could pose a threat was laughable to some but deep down arar felt a sting of Doubt something that was rare for someone of his stature he had seen Empires rise and fall entire species eradicated at the wave of a hand and yet something in the younger God's words struck a nerve what if this was not some trivial Rebellion what if this was different a sudden image flickered to life
in the center of the room it was of Earth small blue and seemingly insignificant but the image zoomed in to show an event from Humanity's history one that would later become known as the great resistance the humans had been overrun Alien Invaders far more advanced than Humanity had come to enslave them the Invaders had begun to take what they wanted plundering Earth's resources and decimating entire populations the humans were crushed beneath their heel it seemed like the end for them but then something happened the humans fought back ariar watched in silence as the Hologram showed
human Warriors armies formed from nothing untrained but driven by pure will rising from the ashes their enemies far more powerful technologically underestimated the humans willpower their unyielding determination to protect their world these Invaders were caught off guard by the humans unrelenting Spirit the battle was fierce bloody and seemingly unwinable for Humanity but it didn't matter the humans were fueled by something that was foreign to the Invaders survival Instinct a human General one of their greatest leaders had rallied the survivors with tactics as old as time they laid traps sabotaged The Invader weapons and used Guerilla
Warfare against the technologically Superior Army the Invaders thinking themselves gods were decimated their forces torn apart by the Ingenuity and Persistence of the humans the Invaders had underestimated the humans they thought that they could be wiped out with ease that they were nothing more than insects and yet it was the humans who triumphed ariar stared at the image in silence his thoughts churning he had seen wars destruction and Devastation across the Galaxy but this this was different the humans had fought not because they were the strongest but because they believed in their survival they believed
in something greater than the death that awaited them the humans have a strength we did not anticipate the younger God said softly I have seen it I have studied their history they will not be subjugated if we strike now we risk Awakening something far more dangerous the Elder Gods shifted uneasily in their seats there was no denying the implications of the warning the youngest God was right there was something within Humanity something deep and un building that made them a threat unlike any other we are Gods ariar finally said his voice low and measured but
even Gods can be destroyed a ripple of unease spread across the council the fate of the universe was in their hands but the humans had become a wild card the council members were not sure whether they could eliminate them and if they failed the consequences could be catastrophic the tension in the room was palpable arar's gaze never left the image of Earth now swirling with shadows and flickering lights then without warning he made his decision the humans will be destroyed ariar said his voice cold as steel but we will make them regret Crossing us the
consequences of defying the Elder Gods will be their undoing the council members nodded their expressions Grim they would not hesitate they would not falter but in the silence that followed one question hung heavy in in the air what if they were wrong as ariar gave the order to begin the annihilation a strange unsettling feeling nod at him he had never questioned his actions before but something in his gut told him that underestimating humans might be their greatest mistake yet the air was Heavy with the smell of smoke and dust below them Earth's ruined cities lay
in ruins the skeletal remains of once thriving civilizations now reduced to smoldering husks the Invaders their massive warships towering like dark Omens against the Red Sky had come expecting an easy Conquest what they had underestimated was the indomitable will of the humans as the first wave of alien forces dropped from the sky in Sleek angular ships their Landing made the ground Quake but despite their terrifying appearance Humanity had been preparing ready for deployment shouted Lieutenant Marcus Drexler as he fastened the straps on his armor his voice was steady but underlined with the urgency of the
situation he knew the stakes and he knew this was their last shot if they didn't succeed now Earth's fate would be sealed Eva Malone captain of the last remaining human resistance group stood at the front of the command center watching the sky through a large holographic display the faintest hint of a smile touched her lips let them come she said her voice firm and unwavering we've been waiting for this this but this wasn't just another battle this wasn't the usual fight for survival the humans had grown accustomed to this time they were fighting a war
of Vengeance the dread brers the fleet of immense alien ships that had crushed the Earth's defenses time and again had finally decided to land they assumed they would wipe out Humanity in a single stroke a strike so powerful that no force on Earth would be able to resist but the gods who had witnessed the universe's EB and flow for Millennia were making a grave mistake they underestimated the human Spirit back in the council chamber of the Elder Gods ariar stood before his fellow deities his voice calm but filled with the weight of his decision Earth
is weak its people have been reduced to nothing more than insects scurrying in the dirt their resistance is feudal they have no place in the future of this universe it is time to extinguish them but as the words escaped his lips a cold shiver of Doubt ran through the youngest of the Gods his name was veiler and he had been the one who had initially argued against the destruction of Earth but we have failed before Baylor protested the humans they are unpredictable if we push them too far they might surprise us enough arar's Voice boomed
through the chamber causing the walls to tremble the decision has been made prepare the fleet veiler his heart heavy with forboding watched the others nod in agreement their ancient Minds unmoved by the warning the Elder Gods had seen countless civilizations rise and fall Earth's time had come and with it the beginning of the end for the humans as the fleet Advanced toward Earth veer's gaze lingered on the planet Below in his mind he couldn't shake the thought could the humans be the true inheritors of the Universe on Earth the resistance Fighters had gathered in force
hidden beneath the crumbling remains of what was once a great City they had set up a base of operations Eva stood before a map of the battlefield her mind working at break neck's speed we've got one chance she said tapping the map with a gloved finger one chance to turn this around we need to hit them fast and hit them hard her team assembled around her nodding grimly each of them knew the odds were stacked against them but they were determined to fight not just for survival but for the very future of humanity Drexler Always
by Eva's side looked at her with quiet resolve you've got the plan captain we're with you we've always been then it's time to remind them why humans are a force to be reckoned with Eva said her voice a steady command let's make them regret underestimating us the team prepared for the attack Earth's weapons had long been outdated but Humanity had something no other species had Ingenuity in the darkness of the resistant space they had worked tirelessly to create new unconventional weapons hidden Within the Ruins of their world were artifacts of a long lost time relics
of ancient human strength they weren't just fighting for their lives they were fighting for their legacy as the alien warships loomed closer dropping down in a perfect formation like a swarm of predators circling their prey Eva's team moved into position the weapons were ready the traps were set the first volley of fire from The Dread Bringers sliced through the atmosphere sending shock waves that shook the very ground beneath them the sky ignited with the brilliant light of alien Weaponry the Invaders had arrived in full force but what they didn't expect was the human Counterattack from
the ground hundreds of makeshift cannons fired back with brutal force their payloads of ancient rail gun projectiles slamming into the alien ships with devastating Precision the alien Superior technology was useless against these hidden weapons and the first wave of dread brers began to fall from the sky what's happening shouted ariar as he watched the battle unfold his eyes widened in disbelief how are they doing this these humans should be nothing more than dust by now veer's voice was a whisper a warning from deep within they're not like us they never were the humans but ariar
cut him off silence the time for doubts is over back on Earth Eva watched as the sky exploded with chaos The Invader ships which had once seemed Invincible were now being forced into Retreat the humans had done the impossible fighting back with what little they had and forcing the enemy to reconsider their approach now's our chance Eva shouted to her team push forward push them back the battle raged on and for the first time the Invaders seemed to hesitate The Dread brers Fleet had lost several key ships their superiority crumbling in the face of human
Ingenuity even knew they couldn't let up now fire all remaining charges she ordered we end this today but just as victory seemed Within Reach something unexpected happened from the depths of space an ominous signal appeared on the Elder Gods Fleet screens a massive Rift in space had opened and from it emerged a force far greater than the dread brers the true might of the Elder Gods arar had summoned the full power of the Gods in an instant the sky above Earth tore open massive beams of energy shot down from the rift obliterating everything in their
path the ground trembled as the skies split open Humanity had never faced anything like this before Eva's heart sank as she saw the new threat the battle was far from Over the stakes had never been higher the Elder gods and all their ancient power had Unleashed a force that could wipe Earth from existence and as the sky burned with the wrath of Gods even knew that this would be their greatest fight yet failure would mean the end of humanity but there was one thing the gods had forgotten to consider humans would never give up as
the battle reached its peak Eva's voice rang out over the chaos we fight until the last breath the war for Earth was only just beginning the battle for Earth had reached its apex what was once a glimmer of hope a resilient stand against the unimaginable might of the Galactic Empire now felt like a feudal attempt to saave off the inevitable as human forces rallied piecing together whatever scraps of technology and tactics they could muster the Elder Gods observed from their far-flung citadels in the void on the front lines major Natalie Cade grip the controls of
The Valkyrie her mind racing this wasn't the first time humanity had fought against the superior Force but the weight of their unknown adversaries the Elder Gods nod at her resolve as the valky screamed through space narrowly avoiding enemy fire Kate couldn't help but feel the stakes of this battle were higher than any she had ever faced Earth was on the brink of total Annihilation and she was now the lynchman in this desperate gamble for surv survival major we're outgunned Sergeant Harris shouted over the calm his voice strained The Fleets barely holding off their Advance we
need reinforcements now Kate slammed her fist against the console her frustration boiling over every fiber of her being screamed that they were on the verge of a catastrophic failure as her Squadron of Valkyries swooped low over the decimated remains of Earth's last defense stations she watched in Grim silence it was all falling apart the overwhelming might of the Galactic Empire had crushed earth's best defenses and every attempt to push back was being met with devastating losses but in the distance something was stirring something far more terrifying than any Fleet of ships or Soldiers the Elder
Gods emissaries had arrived these beings were not like anything the human race had encountered before their mere presence warped the fabric of reality their power is so profound that even the Earth had to offer seemed trivial by comparison these were not conquerors motivated by resources or territory they were gods of ancient power driven by motives that no mortal mind could fathom we need to keep them busy we can't let them make it to the surface Kate said a Steely Edge creeping into her voice deploy the antimatter bombs at the coordinates we're going to hit them
where it hurts but even as she spoke a chilling realization crept over her they were no longer fighting to win now they were fighting for survival hoping to buy time long enough for something anything to tip the scales in their favor the Elder Gods their powers as vast as the cosmos itself could not be bested through Brute Force alone we're not going to make it are we Harris asked his voice barely a whisper the weight of his question hanging in the cold air of the valkyrie's cockpit Kade didn't answer right away there was nothing she
could say to ease the crushing fear that had overtaken her nothing to dispel the certainty that Earth was doomed unless something no someone could change the course of this war focus on the mission we push forward Kate said though she knew it was a hollow order as they neared the Elder God's mass of Warship its size dwarfing anything the humans had ever conceived Cade's heart pounded in her chest the ship was a dark monolith seemingly carved from the void itself adorned with incom comprehensible symbols glowing faintly along its surface a ship of gods a ship
of nightmares suddenly the calms crackled to life and a voice far older than anything Cade had ever heard echoed across the channels humans you have defied us long enough the voice boomed sending a shiver down her spine you dare stand against us the creators of this galaxy you who do not understand the nature of power nor the cost of your defiance we will end your kind as we have ended countless others it was an elder God's voice Cade had read about their Tales their catastrophic destruction of civilizations across the cosmos worlds swallowed by their indifference
their words were not threats there were pronouncements Hold Steady Kate said her voice trembling despite her efforts to mask it we've trained for this moment we fought for this chance we can't give up now a surge of a adrenaline washed over her as she tightened her grip on the controls she could hear the other Pilots murmuring adjusting their weapon systems preparing for what would likely be their last fight the human resolve was undeniable but would it be enough against Gods the Moment of Truth came quickly the warship fired releasing a bolt of dark energy so
potent it seemed to Ripple through the very fabric of space the blast shot across the battlefield disintegrating everything in its path the valkyrie Pilots dodged as best as they could weaving and ducking through the deadly storm of Destruction but it wasn't just the Firepower they had to worry about as the energy blast struck a shock wave of sheer force sent Cade's ship spiraling into a tumble she fought to regain control watching helplessly as other ships were torn apart around her but even amid the chaos her eyes remained locked on the warship there was no going
back now AO voice erupted in her headset breaking through the cacophony of explosions major Cade we need to fall back this is not a fight we can win she could hear Harris shouting from the calm his voice panicked the ground forces were faltering and the reinforcements she had been praying for had yet to arrive the human resistance was crumbling and the Elder gods were Unstoppable but Cade's eyes wild with determination remained focused on the ship her pulse racing no she said her voice low but Resolute we fight we die fighting or we find a way
to win we will survive she powered forward Into the Storm of enemy fire leading the charge even as the end seemed inevitable the Elder Gods had underestimated Humanity's strength they had underestimated the rage the hunger for survival that had driven them from the beginning and that was where their downfall would begin in the heart of the warship something ancient stirred the Godlike beings were preparing their final move the one that would obliterate Earth and end their resistance once and for all but as they began their final assault a new Force entered the fry the unknown
a force as old as the cosmos itself but forged in the very fire of Humanity's fight for survival a force that would make the gods fear humans the battle was far from over and the Elder Gods would come to regret underestimating the fury of a r race that had only just begun to fight for its place in the stars the chaos in the skies above Earth was deafening every pulse of energy that the Elder Gods Unleashed sent shock waves through the atmosphere turning the once peaceful world below into a battlefield of fire and destruction the
warships those unimaginable Titans of the cosmos glided effortlessly through the storm of gunfire and explosions while the scattered remnants of Earth's forces struggled to hold their ground but amid the Carnage a new Force had appeared a force that had been born from the hearts of humanity from their desperation and their Defiance the valkyrie squadrons battered and on the brink of collapse had taken up the charge against impossible odds major Nataly Cade leading her Squadron through the last remaining slivers of Humanity's resistance was determined to carry the fight to the heart of the enemy we hold
the line Cade growled into her Cals her grip tightening on the control for Earth for the people we love the sky around her was filled with enemy fire the Elder Gods warships were not only powerful they were beyond anything that Humanity had ever imagined their weapons seemed to tear apart both time and space itself as they hurled destruction at the last Defenders yet Cade's resolve didn't falter the fire of humanity burned bright within her her Squadron those few surviving Pilots fought not just for for survival but for vengeance for all the lives lost in this
war and for the countless generations to come suddenly a new wave of energy appeared on the scanners and Cade's heart skipped a beat it was unlike anything she had seen before the readings were chaotic but they carried a strange unearthly frequency that hummed in the very fabric of space what in the name of she muttered to herself and then from the depths of the void a pulse of energy shot toward Earth a signal of Swords a warning that resonated on a cosmic level a single figure appeared on the whole of screen in front of Cade
a silhouette surrounded by an aura of strange unnatural power she recognized it instantly it was one of the Elder Gods its presence sending a shiver down her spine you are persistent major Cade the voice of the elder god echoed cold and forboding but your Defiance will not save you you are children playing at War and we are the gods of Destruction the word sent a chill through Kate's bones but she didn't Flinch you may be Gods she said her voice sharp but we are human and we don't give up in the depths of her mind
Kay knew she was facing a force Beyond Comprehension beings whose power had reshaped galaxies whose influence Spann the ages but the will to fight to survive was the one thing that Humanity possessed that could never be measured by the Elder Gods fire at will Cade shouted as her Squadron of Valkyries Unleashed their final desperate assault on the enemy the rocket screamed through space colliding with the Elder God's warship but it barely made a dent it was as if their Weaponry were nothing more than ants biing had a giant the warship Shields flared brightly as it
absorbed the hits barely even noticing the attack we're out of time Harris yelled from the Toms his voice panic-stricken the surface is falling the remaining defenses will be breached within minutes Cade's heart pounded in her chest as she saw the ground forces what was left of them disintegrate beneath the Relentless assault of the Elder Gods the fleet was collapsing and Earth was on the verge of losing everything but then in the midst of her desperation something extraordinary happened there on the edge of her sensors a bright light began to form it was small at first
a speck in the distance but then it grew rapidly Kate's breath caught in her throat as the light flared into something massive something that defied explanation it was a ship no it was more than a ship it was an ancient weapon unlike anything the Elder Gods had ever seen a chill ran through her spine as she realized what it was it was Earth's Last Hope an ancient Fleet long thought lost to history had returned the ship was one of the ancient remnants of Earth's forgotten past a relic of a time before the rise of the
Galactic Empire powered by forgotten technology and driven by a will to survive it was Humanity's Ultimate Weapon a final strike against the gods who had threatened their existence is that Harris gasped in disbelief over the comms the Titan Fleet I thought it was destroyed it wasn't destroyed it was waiting waiting for the moment when Humanity needed it most and now that moment had come we fight Cade said her voice steady even as the weight of everything bearing down on her threatened to break her we fight with everything we have the ancient ships of the Titan
Fleet surged forward their immense Halles glinting in the light of distant Stars each ship was a fortress unto itself its weapons of unimaginable power charged and ready to unleash their fury on the Elder Gods the force of their impact shook space itself sending shock waves through the Galaxy the Elder gods for the first time faltered for the first time they were not Invincible the battle raged on the forces of humanity pouring their Fury into the Elder God's defenses the tide was turning but it was still unclear who would emerge Victorious the power of the Elder
Gods was vast but the desperation of humanity was a fire that refused to be extinguished cage shipped Dove toward the heart of the battle pushing through waves of enemy fire she could see the Elder Gods warship looming before her an embodiment of power and malevolence the lights flickered on her console as she engaged the final phase of the assault charging up her ship's last remaining weapon this is it Cade whispered to herself in one final breathtaking moment Kade released the full force of Humanity's might the last charge the last strike the energy from the valkyrie
detonated at the heart of the Elder God's Flagship and for a moment everything was still then the warship exploded sending shock waves through the cosmos Humanity had done it the Elder Gods had been defeated Earth had won but at a cost the battlefield lay in ruin the Titan Fleet though Victorious had taken massive damage and many lives had been lost in the fight yet against All Odds Earth had prevailed major Cade staring out at the wreckage of the once Mighty Fleet felt a strange sense of both Triumph and sorrow the Elder gods were gone but
Humanity would never forget the price they had paid as the remnants of the battle faded into the Dark Void of space Cade looked toward Earth Below the world they had fought for the people they had fought for would rebuild they would live and they would honor the Fallen but as she stared into the abyss she knew one thing for certain this was only the beginning the final question lingered who would come next
