is this not the fast that i have chosen to loose the bonds of injustice to undo the thongs of the yoke to let the oppressed go free and to break every yoke is it not to share thy bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into thy house when thou seest the naked to cover them up and not to hide thyself from thine own flesh then shall thy light break forth like the dawn and thy healing shall spring forth quickly and thy righteousness shall go before thee the glory of the lord shall be thy
rear god then shalt thou call and the lord will answer thou shalt cry for help and he will say here i am if thou take away the yoke from among you the pointing of the finger the speaking of evil and if thou offer thy food to the hungry and satisfy the needs of the afflicted then thy light shall rise in the darkness and thine obscurity be as the noon day the lord shall guide thee always and satisfy thy soul in drought and strengthen thy bones and thou shall be like a well-watered garden like a spring
