When I was coming back, I was thinking about what to minister today, I just finished

a series and I am always searching for the right message, and I felt something about the book of Job, because it is a well known book, very well known, but we do not read much. And even less, understood. I told myself, to speak about the Book of Job, this will be complicated, should I or should I not? Do it or not? I wll take the risk, you know, I will do it! I was a bit scared to be something like, a bit of a study! To be something heavy and all, I will take the risk,

I will do it! I was starting to search for a title, what title will I give to this word? The title would be too long, it would something like "Avoiding to be guided by experiences, by traditions, by things the world tells me, and being driven by the Holy Spirit of God". I thought that it would be too long, I decided to something else "Job seen through the lens of the Grace". Understanding Job through the lens of the grace, what in truth do we have to do with any book of the Old Testament? You need to

put this lenses, this glasses to understand the Old Testament, the lens of the grace the lens of the New Covenant. You need to know the New Covenant to be able to understand the Old, you need to use the glasses of the New Covenant to be able to understand the Old Testament. When you get and try to understand the Old Testament, closing the Old Testament in itself, closing the stories in themselves, it does not work! You end up creating doctrines that Jesus already buried, end up bringing back the Legalism and doctrines that Jesus already buried. I

need to look and to understand the Old Testament with the lens of the grace, it was what I tried to do with the Book of Job, because it is w well quoted book, but it is one we do not read or understand much. This is also because of the language of the Book of Job is hard, you will know the reason, but I need to use a few basis first before we can exactly understand about he book of Job. I need to return here with a few basis, things that we talk about, but they need

to be reinforced for you to better understand the book of Job. First thing: God is love. God is love, you know, if you have never read the bible, and you were already had heard about God, about His greatness. Gos is the one who created all things: the world, the universe, the planets, the stars. And, someone would give you paper and pen and asked you "Describe who God is. Write there who God is. Use as many words was you wish". Maybe some people would write a full page, others more than one, to try to describe with

philosophical principles, metaphysical about who God is, what He is not, this and that. Maybe somebody would write a whole book, books, trying to describe who God is, but, when John tired to describe who God is, by the inspiration of God Himself, he only uses three words to describe such a Great God, Powerful, tremendous, Infinite, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, John uses only three words, he is very concise, objective, compact, he goes to the point and simply says that "God is love". He defines God only as being love, not that God has love, He is love, this is

His nature, this is His essence. Try to explain God, with more words than this, you would be creating philosophical images, metaphysical, complicated and difficult, and they do not explain with the same simplicity and objectivity who God really is. God is love, the end. This is the first base, any other that God is, He is before anything love. This God who is love, He is also our Father, He was revealed to us as Father. He was revealed to us in the New Testament, through Jesus, as our Father. The Apostle Paul even says that the Holy Spirit

who lives in us, He claims, He inspires us to also call God as Abba, Father. Abba is the Hebrew term, or Aramaic, that better shows intimacy between son and father. It is as somebody calling your father of dear daddy, darling dad, loving daddy, my daddy, daddy. It is a relationship of father with his son, Abba, Father. The Holy Spirit in us works in this love, why? Because Jesus came to reveal the Great God, the El Eliom, God who is above all the evil, of all the principalities and powers, who is the El Shadai, the God

who supplies all the needs. The God who is Powerful, the Jeovah Rafa. The God of healing, Jeovah Rohi. The Lord who is our Pastor. He is all that, but, before this, new for us, He is our Father. It is not a title God has, this is the condition of relationship that He has with us, amen! This God who is love, who is our Father, He loves us unconditionally. The love of God for you has nothing to do with your deeds, with your religious development, with your intellectual development. It has nothing to do with your past,

with your present or future! His love for you is an unconditional love, it does matter your past, who you were or are. God loves you unconditionally, amen! This understanding needs to be revealed in the heart of every Christian, God is love, He is our Father, He loves us unconditionally. But, accordingly with what tradition teaches us, I also need to understand that this God is love, is my Father, who loves unconditionally, not the author of evil in the life of human being. Why God cannot be the author of any evil for human being? Because He is

love, if had just love, also would have something else, it could be hatred, having love could also have hatred, anything else, but, as He is there is nothing, He is love, by nature He cannot, He cannot be the author of the evil in life. He is not the author of evil in the life of man. However the religiosity, many times, attributes evil to God. Job did this, Pastor Jorge here last Thursday, in the service of the victory, about the fact that Job spend great part of his life without knowing who God was. Worshiping God, but

He did not know who God was in fact, in truth, he did not. He knew other things about God, but not knowing God personally. This is the problem in the church, people know about God, things about God, the word of God, but, they do not know the Father, hey do not know this character of God, and they think that many times the evil is produced by God Himself, in many churches seems hat was not understood in a clear way, it was not revealed in a clear way. But, the bible tells you and I that God

loved the world. The world, not the special, the chosen, not half dozen, not a certain group, but "God so loved the world that He gave His only son for those who believe and do not perish, but, have eternal life". God loved the world, the world. This shows, to me, that each human being who was born in the face of the earth, each human being who is generated in the womb of a woman, in any part of the planet was born with a purpose, because God loved that person, it does not matter where. You did not

come into the world without a purpose in your life. You are an accident "Oh, Pastor, you do not know my story, my mother even tried to abort me, but it failed". Well, this is because God held you, because He had a purpose for you to be born. You were born because God wanted you to, you are here, today, because God wanted, your life here is not an accident, your life has a purpose planned by Him before the foundation of the world. You here listening to this message, this a purpose of God for your life. The

problem is that a great number of people in the world who have never found this purpose, they spend their lives without finding this purpose. Thanks to God you and I found, because when you received Jesus in your life as your Lord and Savior, you entered inside of this Heavenly purpose, God came in flesh to guide you, here and there... suddenly you found Jesus and entered in the purpose of God for you, it is a purpose that will be developed and unrolling along time. He will show you, will open doors, will guide you, will lead you.

I have never planned to be a Pastor, but, the bible says that in the womb of my mother God already called me. How could I imagine one day I would become a Pastor, abandon my medical carrier to become a preacher of the word, to dedicate 100% to this? I have never thought not even in my dreams or nightmares, but God had a purpose. I had no idea about this, but, God already had called me in the womb of my mother, and so were you. Amen! Some of us still, this purpose is unwrapping, we are starting

to understand, but, God has a purpose for your life, amen! You did not born by accident, because God loved the world, not a group but all people. God has a purpose to all human beings, many do not find his purpose. You and I entered in this purpose and we have to grow in the understanding of the revelation of this purpose that God has for each one of us "But God is justice, Pastor!". I know God is justice. I know God is righteous, I am concerned when one says "God is love, but God is justice". When

this person says that, in truth she wants to say "God is love, but God is justice". In truth she wants to put justice before love, but, God acts with justice and He is love. He is love, His essence, God is righteous because He is love, and His justice is made through love, amen! His justice is not made in hatred, in anger, in revenge. His justice is connected in love, because He is love, because God is love and because He is righteous He does not punish us for what Jesus already paid for us. Who here already

owns your car? OK, now, imagine this: you already paid your car and on next month you go back to the car dealer to pay again. "But the car was paid, why did you came back? Lady, why did you come back?". "I came to make the monthly payment". "But, the car is already paid". "No, I want to pay". "No, but you already did, it is paid". Next month you go back there and he sales person looks and says "Look the crazy one there". This is because one who would want to pay a car that was already

paid is what? Crazy! "Last month he was here and not to buy a new car". "Does he want to buy a new car?". "No, he wants to keep making the payments". A year later "There comes the crazy one again, he comes every month to pay the car that is already paid", it means, you and I, Jesus already paid the price for our sin. He already paid the price, you and I have nothing more to pay. There is no debt, you have no debt to pay, no debt with God or the devil, with no one. Jesus

already paid the price, so, I do not have now to have this mentality "Am I paying the price for the sins form the past?". No, Jesus already paid, You do not have to pay for anything else. Job asked this "How can a man be righteous with God?". It is there in Job 9:2, when we say the name of Job, we have to be careful because it gets funny to say, right? To put the verb with the name of Job. Job had "Little Job", Job had to avoid this "How can a man be righteous with God?".

In other words, he was asking how is it possible for a man to be righteous facing God, a man with many trouble, with a lot of problems, as many sins as mistakes, how can he be righteous before God? A fare question he asked, how can a man be righteous before God, to God? I then the answer, which is love, made a plan based in love. To sort this problem out God made a plan, He loves us so much that we heirs of the sinful inheritance of Adam, God made a plan to set us free, made

a fantastic based in love, made this plan based in love. He is Holy, He is righteous in all, all, all, all of His actions. But, in you most deep self, I need to remember this, God is love, in the most deep essence He is Holy, He is righteous. But in your most deep essence to understand this plan of God, I need to understand that, in His most deep essence God is love, He loves us. But, He does not love us for something we did, for any reason we might have given Him to love us, it

is not for a reason and no reason given to justify His love for us. He loves us just because of His love, He cannot avoid this love for us, no matter what faults we have. He does not need to avoid because He is love, God is good to you and to me, not because we are good, but because He is good, it is in His essence, it is His nature. So, He made this plan, He made Jesus our legal representative, the first legal representative of the humanity was Adam, he made a mess, when he did

that God looked and said "How do I sort out this mess now?". For sure, what had to happen? Adam sinned, Eve sinned, the salary of sin is death. So, you need to die! But, God made a plan because if it was only justice... "Did you sin? A lightening on each one´s head, done, over, all sort our". Why? Because God is justice, no one would be here to tell us the story, neither after to tell the story. The angels would say "Oh, see how God is not joking about? The guy is really justice. Look there, He

burned that mount of ash is Adam. The other one is Eve". But, because God is love, He made a plan, Jesus became our representative responsible for our sins. God Father placed over all His sons, I out with capital letters for you to understand that all are all, all are all, all sins, all sins of humanity, of all human beings who lived since Adam until this day. And all those who will live from today until the second coming of Jesus, all, all, all! This is why I tell you that our sins were forgiven in the past,

present also those to come, even the sins of people who are not born yet. Jesus already took on the cross of the Calvary, already forgave, already sort out the problem on the cross. God already sort out the problem making Jesus responsible for our faults, becoming our representative. This has being pictured in a typological way throughout times, starting in the Garden of Eden, shedding the blood of animals who died in the place of Adam and Eve. When God look to Adam "You messed up, you sinned, what do I do? The wages of sin is death, you

need to die! I will not kill both of you because I love you". So, God got two animals, sacrificed and killed. Because when the Apostle Paul brings this understanding saying that the wages of sin is death, we read this and we think that this death is something figurative, which is something symbolical, a metaphor. No, literally the wage of sin is the death. It is death, not something figurative, not typological, it is something concrete and literal. The salary of sin is death, so, He went there and accomplished what would the word say: the wage of sin

is death, so somebody needs to die, but I will not kill Adam and Eve because I love them. So, you got two substitutes, got two animals, killed in the place of Adam and Eve and covered with the skin of the animals, shed the blood. So, temporarily the sin of Adam and Eve were covered by the blood of the animals, because somebody paid the price on their place. But, the problem was not solved, it was just covered for a while. Look at this, if you sinned, the wages of sin is death, it does not matter if

you try to present to God your little dog! "OK, somebody needs to die, look, the dog will replace me!". The guys is in jail, condemned to death, in the day of the execution he says "Jailer, I already have an answer, my German Sheppard will replace me". "No, no, you will go to the electric chair, not your dog". This will something God arranged for a while, because He is love, it was a loving way He found to connect to His justice. So, He sacrificed the animals replacing Adam and Eve, from that all animals, bulls, sheep, lamb,

they were sacrificed in the Jewish alters, pointing to the coming of the Redeemer, Jesus, the Lamb of God. When Jesus appeared in scene, right at the beginning of the gospel of Matthew, there is a figure, John the Baptist look at Jesus, he might have said what came out from his mouth, even John the Baptist would have being scared with what he said, because it came from no where. Suddenly he looked at Jesus and said "Here is the Lamb of God who takes the sin of he world!". Those who looked thought "Where is the lamb? Where

is he Lamb? Where is the Lamb?". No, no, I am talking about that one there, He is the Lamb, those sheep who were sacrificed every year, all year long in the tabernacle of Moses, after the time of Solomon, in the time of Herod. They only pointed to this guy, this is the guy, He is the Lamb of God who takes the sin of the world, why? It is because who committed a sin, who committed the original sin was the man, who had to sort out and to die for the sin, it had to be a

man, but could not be anyone. It could not be a animal, the animal was the temporary replacement, it had to be one man, but not any man, had to be a perfect man. Had to be someone without sin, so Jesus, God goes and add more details to this plan, He added one detail more to this plan, accordingly to the Mosaic Law all animal sacrificed to God, it could be without deffect. The priest examined if it had no defects and was ready to be sacrificed. Jesus, then, needed to be human because who had to pay by

the mistakes of man, it was another man and not a replacing animal, that was only temporary. Jesus came as a man, but, it could not have the human inheritance of sin. So, God gave this solution: Jesus will be born from an untouched. Well, what a fantastic idea God had, why? All human being who was born, who was born with the inheritance of sin, because of the blood, the inheritance of the blood of Adam comes with the sin. But, Jesus was not conceived by man, He was a son...He was not the biological son of Joseph, Joseph

was the legal father of Jesus, but he was not the biological father. Mary, still untouched, got pregnant conceived by the Holy Spirit. So, in the veins and arteries of Jesus did not ran human blood as mine and yours, no contaminated blood by sin, because the blood, although, Mary was the biological mother of Jesus, the blood of Mary was not the blood of Jesus! Today we know this, that the blood of the mother is one, the blood of the baby is another, is not the blood of the mother that runs in the baby and goes to

the mother. The baby had his blood, the mother has hers, the blood of the mother goes near to the blood of the baby, the blood of the baby gets near to the placenta of the mother, but, the vessels of the two merge. The vessels of the mother get near the vessels of the baby in the placenta. Not only near, they do not merge, and in this proximity the molecular level, the biological level, the cell level, the blood of the mother sets free food to the blood of the baby that absorbs. The blood of the baby

sets free the results of the metabolism, the metabolic garbage the mother absorbs and throws through the urine. So, the mother urinates for her and for the baby, the blood of one is not of the other. Jesus, after... if you got Jesus because He was human, He was a man, if you collected a lot of blood of Jesus to make a blood test, you would find blood cells, you will find cells, find leukocyte, would find triglyceride, cholesterol just like in yours. But, one thing that you will find: the mark of the sin. Because the blood of

Jesus was a Holy blood, this is why His blood served to us to redeem. It was not the blood of an animal, not the blood of a lamb, it was not the blood of an animal, it was human blood, but, a blood of a perfect human, God made in flesh. Jesus lived a perfect life, accomplished the Law of Moses, until death on the cross was receiving the punishment of our sins, because the salary of sin is death. So, God did not live by the Law, God accomplished the Law in Jesus. The salary of sin is

death, we needed to die, we had to die because of the sin. God then provided the death in Jesus, He replaced, He died in our place. Amen, guys! It could not be you or I, it could not be any human being, look at this, look at the situation! Enter into the police station, then the guy goes to the police station and says "I came to present myself o replace my friend who is arrested, because he has family, he has a wife, has a son, needs to keep working, stealing, smoking, I am single I have nothing

to lose, so, you can set him free and arrest me". "I will not do that, you both will stay, one goes and the other stays". So, it could not be you or I, it had to be a human being, but a perfect human being. Jesus, God, was made flesh and showed this perfection and He paid the wages of sin, if was paid for you and I, we do not have a debt anymore to be paid, the price was paid in full, amen! God is righteous and could not ignore the problem of sin, He did not!

He decided the problem of sin, the innocent Jesus died in the place of guilty people like us. The sin was punished with the hardest punishment, death. Jesus did not pay 30 years in jail, neither in life sentence, He was condemned to death, because the wages of sin is death. He replaced us, received our sins over Him. Today, you and I have no debt related to sin, amen! You and I today are free of all debts of sin. It is a mistake if somebody looks "Today I am paying the price of my errors from the past!".

Jesus already paid the price, stop going to the car dealer to pay for that car, stop with this, the car is already yours, you do not need to pay for anything! If God rejected the sinner, today, He would be rejecting the work of Jesus on the cross of Calvary! The problem the church is condescending with the world and to be harsh with itself, because the sinner comes from the world into the church "Receive, come as you are". But the guy, inside of the church, who sins "Make him leave". "No, but he wants to come back".

"Here? No, not anymore, go to hell now". But Jesus does not reject "No, Pastor?". No, no, no, the guy..."Pastor, but that person who left and want to come back, left again and wants to come back again". Many times as she wants to come back Jesus will receive her, for something simple, because the price was paid, and He is love. There is no way to change that, all and any accusation the enemy can make against us, today, it can be immediately rejected. This is because all was solved on the cross, we are justified in Christ. It

was all sort out, not one part, not the majority, but, all, all was solved on the cross. So, the devil today has no basis to accuse us, because when you do not know this, many people accept the devil throwing accusations and condemnations over them, when in truth we are free of all condemnation. Then the question they make "So, why does the devil accuse us today?". If it is something of no use because we were already set free, why do they accuse us? Simple, because the devil understands everything about the law, he understand about the Law,

but had no understanding about love. He does not conform with the grace, the devil cannot accept the grace, when you find someone who even being in the church does not accept the grace "No, it is not that, there is a price to be paid. No, this gospel of the wide door, this is too easy". When you meet someone with this kind of mentality, you are meeting someone who is inspired by whom? So, no need to say, because this is an inspiration from the fifth underground of hell. This is because the devil understand everything about the

law, Legalism, but, he cannot understand a thing about love, and because of that, he does not accept at all "No, this is how you are saved, easy, right? No, no, no, it cannot be, just raise your hand, accepted Jesus? After all that you have done? Oh. no, you need o pay. No, it is very easy!". The devil cannot accept the grace, cannot swallow this, unfortunately people are contaminated with this understanding, there is a great difficulty in understanding that God is the Father, you got to understand that He is the Father, first you need to understand

that He is love, to understand that He is love, now you have to understand that He loves you by the grace. And the opposite way is true, you need to understand the grace, understand the love now understand that God is the Father, but, when you have difficulties to understand that God is the Father, is because one did not even understood the love of God. The day when you understand, you will kneel "Well, God is my Father, not a title that He has, it is a relationship with me, not a title: the Father, the Jeovah Jire,

Jeovah Rafa, El Eliom, El Rohi, one title". No, no, no, it is a relationship He has with you and with me, He is our Father and He deeply loves us, God is righteous, exactly because of that, he made you righteous in Christ, not by pity or mercy, but, because He is righteous, this made His justification, not based on mercy, not based in pity, but based in legal acts. The cross of Christ, the cross was an act of legality that God established so that we can be legally called and considered justice of God, amen! We will

take a look in the book of Job, in truth because I have said that up to know was just an introduction. Now I will start the preaching, get ready to spend a wonderful night here in the presence of God, alleluia! We will take a look in a few truth of the Book of Job, we will understand what the book the Book of Job is! The book of Job is poetical, the Hebrew poetry is not Western. Western poetry tries to rhyme words, just like rhyme for children, this is Western poetry. Hebrew Poetry does not try to

rhyme, it tries to reveal knowledge and wisdom, OK? So, the book of Job has difficulties exactly because it is a poetical book, by coincidence it has 42 chapters, God did not made the bible in chapters and verses, chapters and verse were created by the biblical society, but, the coincidence is that Job has 42 chapters and 42 is the number of generations of the genealogy of Jesus. Coincidentally 42 is the number of time Israel camped in the desert since leaving Egypt until entering Canaan, And number 42, as all the biblical number has meaning, 42 is the

number that shows completeness, a finalized deed, a complete deed, it is the number that shows the end of a journey and the beginning of rest. Israel left Egypt and camped 42 times, did not camp the 43º time, after the 42º time they entered in Canaan, in the book of Hebrews is revealed to us, that this is to enter in rest. However they had enemies, cities to take over, but, inside they were in peace, why? Because God promised and will comply, amen! 42 is the number that points to resting, Job 1:1 starts saying that "In the

land of Uz lived a man called Job. He was a righteous and good man, he feared God and avoided evil". So, the book starts here giving a curriculum of Job, he was an upright man, he was a guy who was righteous, feared God and avoided evil, in other words, a good person, a good person. But, many people in the churches thought that if you face any kind of tribulation, this is the result of some sin "Brother, you are living this difficult time, facing battles, difficulties! Confess, you are hiding something! You have done something". What? Am

I hiding something? I am hiding something! But, look, Job suffered that much and look at his curriculum! Look at the curriculum: good guy, righteous, feared God, avoided evil, have done just good things and lived all that! He had a few friend who told him "Job, you have done something! You did something!". This book happened during a period of nine months, it is the oldest one, the oldest from all the bible, in other words, it is a book written before the existence of Abraham, and before the existence of Moses. So, it is not a book written

to Israel, not a book about the Law, because it was written before the Law, a long time before the law, long time before Abraham, a way before Moses, who came a way after Abraham. So, the previous book is not about Israel, or about the Law of Moses, but is a book of universal principles. It is a book of universal principles, but it is a peculiar subject in this book, satan attacked Job, but this just happened because God allowed that to happen. Well, when you look to this and we get confused, did God allowed? Poor Job,

a good man, one who walked away from evil because he feared God. God will go there and say "Satan, you can go, do whatever you want". Well, why did God allowed that? Why did God do that? And the answer, in truth, the answer is the focus of the book of Job. The focus of the book of Job, which is God, allowed because He wanted to remove from his life a root that was harmful, a root of high risk. The meaning of the Book of Job is this, God working in the life of Job, to remove

the need to go to justification, which is a root that still exist in the heart of many believers in many churches. "No, but I do this, I do that, I do, I do it, I deserve because I am good, I go tot the church, I return my tenth, so I do not deserve this bankruptcy, this problem because I return my tenth, I am give offers. I do not deserve this problem because I serve the church". The self-justification is a tremendous root that God needs to delete from our lives, and God allowed the devil to do

this with Job, to remove. Now, pay attention in this: the experience of Job is not to be repeated again with anyone. Do not think, because I have seen people preaching and saying "If this happened with Job, why would not happen with you?". It is not to be repeated again, this event has a typology to teach us, God could not allow that today, He will not allow, today, that the devil can come in your life "Oh, what God can allow the devil to come into my life and do whatever?". Today we face battles, we face suffering,

tribulations, but we have an intercessor beside the Father, which is Jesus, who paid the price for our redemption. Job did not had, you and I have, we have. Job does not, Job did not have, he had a radical experience, which will never be repeated again with anyone. Amen! Nobody who is in Christ, in the second place the devil needed to go to God to ask permission to attack Job. This is not possible today, why it cannot happen today? This is because in Hebrews 9 tells us about the tabernacle of Moses, as the book of the

law and the holy utensils, they were sprayed with the blood of calf and goats. It also says that, accordingly to the Law, almost all things were purified with blood. So Moses built the tabernacle, when he finished the tent, the Ark of the Covenant, the alter of the incense, the menorah, the table with bread, the alter for the sacrifices, when he finished all God gave instruction to kill some animals, to get the blood and to wet a socket and to sprinkle everything with the blood of animals. Then the bible says that Moses did all that and

that "However it was necessary that the symbols", the tabernacle, the Ark of Covenant, the menorah. "the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these". If you read the book of Hebrews, chapter 8, 9 and 10, you will understand that after the resurrection Jesus visited Heaven, to make this here, He took the blood and sprinkled the heavenly houses with His blood. So, the beginning of the book of Job says that one day the sons of God came, to gather with God and satan came together, can

santan do that today? Why not? Because today, that place is anointed with the blood of Jesus. You and I were sprinkled with the blood of Jesus, this is why the bible says "Those who are in Christ, the devil cannot touch". Because you and I were sprinkled with the same blood. The devil cannot touch you, this is why he stays far sending inflamed darts, this is why he tries to manipulate circumstances to create fear in you, terror, incredulity, doubt. He manipulates circumstances and throwing darts of inferiority, thoughts of negativity, impossibilities, to you to think that it

cannot work, there is no other way, no answer, But, I need to understand that today the devil cannot go to God to accuse us, so as he cannot go to talk to God because the blood of Jesus stops him, then he comes to put thoughts, comes to manipulate the circumstances. This means that the own heavenly house of God was sprinkled with the blood of Jesus, So, today the devil cannot dare go there for whatever reason, never mind to accuse us to the Father, never less to that! At the beginning of the book of Job, he

received a series of news, four news, they were like a bomb. However, the usual problem never comes alone, brings brothers, the older cousin, the youngest brother, always with someone. And Job receives four, one after the other, first the Sabaeans, those who knew more than everybody! They came and said, the Sabaeans "They got the calf and donkeys and killed the servants". Them the guy was in shock! Then came the Sabaeans "They took his calf, his donkey and killed his servants". The second messenger came "Fire came from the sky, in other words, probably lightening, "killing all the

sheep and also the servants who were looking after them", second punch! Then comes the third "Man, the third came saying "The Chaldeans took the camels and killed the servants who were taking care of the animals". Them the fourth messenger, mercy! Them the fourth says "Look, your oldest son invited the brothers to a celebration at house, there all of your sons were reunited at the house of your oldest son, a typhoon came, took down the house and all of your sons were buried". Mercy, mercy" The guy lost everything, it was not something as, a bad news

about finances! But the rest is all good! No, everything was bad, in general, all horrible, he was in the dark and there was not light, it was all bad! As if not enough, after a few days, Job was grieving the death of his sons, he got covered with malignant tumors, from toes to head. The I will tell you, not without a reason that his wife, when she look at that, she said "Job, you are in such state, man, and you still believe in God? Deny this God and die". And Job answered her "Woman, are you

crazy? You are speaking like a crazy woman, if God gave us good, would not He give bad?". Was it true what Job said? Only 50%, God gave, but did He took? No, it was the devil, but there are people who get this and bring inside of the church "The Lord gave". Are you prospering? The Lord has given. Are you broke? The Lord took, swallow this! Hold to this and keep going, because if it was given by God, why would He take? He did, bad luck of those who He took! He knows why He took it,

I do not! The Lord beside there does not know, God knows the reason! "Amen, He took all, Pastor! Amen, God knows the reason". The person is "Pastor, but why?". Mystery! And you do not understand! It is funny that the bible says this, that Job was covered with tumors from toes to head, usually we say from head to toes, why was it said the contrary? It is because this is a hint that came from he fifth level underground, because the Apostle James tells us "All the good gifts come from the above", but what about what is

not good enough? God has give, God took away. No, no, what is not worth comes the fifth level underground, from hell. So, they entered into scene now, three friends of Job. He does, somebody has to do it, so Eliphaz, Eliphaz is another person who should be he handsome one in the bible. No, Bildad and the last one was Zophar, they were there to give Job a hard time. It is interesting that they came to give him a shoulder, they came with an open heart, with good intentions. The bible says that when they saw Job from

the distance, they say Job, they started to cry, they felt sorry for Job, they were with good intentions. But, there is a saying "Hell is filled with good intentions". They came with good intentions, but it is funny that after that they entered into scene, satan is not evil in the rest of the book, why is that? Because he was at the side now "Let them do the rest of the work, I started and they will finish, because they almost killed Job with their good intentions, with the wish to help, with the intention to give a

shoulder, to comfort Job, each one of them presented a series of considerations to justify the suffering of Job. These considerations were not wrong themselves. You will see that many things his friends told him, they were true, but, something out form the context, at the wrong time and on the wrong way, this is worse than a lie, ends up almost the same as heresy. And his friends were not saying anything wrong, but applied in the wrong context! For you to have an idea, Job gives to you some samples of what each one of these friends said,

the first of them Eliphaz, what did he do? He said "Job, my friend, Job reflect now, what was the innocent who perished? Where did they suffer destruction? For what I have observed who cultivates and seeds evil will also harvest evil". What this guy was telling Job? "Job, good people receive good thing, and those who do wrong receive evil. Do me a favor, tell the truth, what did you do? Confess, confess!". This is it, guys, when you bring this behavior into the church, there are people who are capable to visit a brother who is ill, admitted

to a hospital because people think like that "If the guy is with a cold is the result of a small sin, but, if he is in the hospital, it is for something really big he sinned". The guy goes there "God send me here to talk to you. God gave three days for you to sort out things and come to terms with Him, He brought you here, that you can come to terms with Him. You said that you did not had the time to pray, here you have. You said that you did not had the time

to read the bible, here you do, God told me that in three said, right! Three days for you to come to terms, otherwise He will take you to Heaven. The Lord says, amen". And the person leaves, and the poor ill person who is there, his is the thought of Eliphaz! "Job, have you seen a good person in a bad situation, now, those who are really bad end up receiving. So, look, tell what the problem is". Eliphaz says "From my experience, for what I have seen...". Many times people judge God for His experiences. No, no, for

what they see, 35 years of ministry! In my ministry not even one person was healed, so, God does not heal today. Nowadays He does not anymore! Because in my ministry I have never seeing a person healed, so, this shows that today the time of healed has passed. But the bible I have might be different, because at least 20 bibles in my house, all of them saying the same thing "That by the bruises of the Lord Jesus we were healed, that He is the same yesterday, today and forever, He does not change or leaves any shadow

of variation". So, do I who has a contrary experience, who has a ministry with many testimonies of people who were healed, what do I do with them? Should I hire a killer to eliminate these people and to make them vanish with this testimony? What do I do with these people who were healed? This is because in the experience of this person God does now heal, in mine He does. No, no, in my experience speaking in tongues is something from the past, but to Apostle Paul, he says that speaking in tongues is current, and now what?

Do I consider the experience of Paul or do I consider the experience of another person who says that speaking in tongues is something from the past? Strange tongues is something from the past! What do I do now? I need to stay with the word, with the word. Is experience good? It is, but there is a limit, my experience is never superior to the word, your experience is not superior to the word, amen! Then comes now Bildad, he comes to Job and says "Job, ask to the previous generations and see what your parents learned, we were

born yesterday and we know nothing. Our days in earth are just a shadow. Perhaps they will not instruct, will not speak, will not deliver words coming from understanding? Can the papyrus grow with no swamp? Can the reed grow without water? Did not grew and, before harvesting will be dry, faster than any other grass. This is the destiny of all of those who forget God, this is how the hope of the impious grow". And in the King James version this word impious is translated as hypocrites. Guess who was the hypocrite that Bildad was referring to? Poor

Job, poor Job, in truth Bildad talks based in tradition! "Oh, Job". Eliphaz spoke based in the experience "But, I want you to appeal to your ancestors, to experiences, we are, our experience of life is not much, we did not live much yet, we know nothing. So, we will look back, we go to the traditions. Traditions, there are traditions that are good, others are harmless". The Apostle Paul even told Timothy "Timothy, keep the traditions you were taught!". So, some traditions as cool, but some are just prisons. There are churches who live based in the tradition and

not in the word, and because of the tradition the youth cannot do this, women cannot do that, men cannot do something else. Cannot play soccer, cannot go o the movies, cannot have makeup on, cannot shave the legs, for the love of God! If any church would just say "Here in our church women cannot shave, cannot color their hair, cannot have makeup on". Great, but this is the decision of the church, take on as a tradition of the church and not as something from an inspiration of the Holy Spirit! IN my house at least I do

not want a scarecrow sleeping with me! Scarecrow is o be in the middle of the field making crows to go away! But the tradition "No, no, you cannot take the supper!". Who can not? Divorced, not legally married, under 18 years old, those who are not from the same denomination, non members of the church, they cannot. Where is it written? Our tradition! Where is it written in the bible that if the person is not legally married she cannot take the supper? If she is not baptized in he waters cannot take the supper! Where is it written

that a non member of the church cannot take the supper? Where is it written that people from different denomination cannot take the supper? Where is it written that if he did something last week, and did not ask for forgiveness, cannot take the supper? Where is it written this? In the tradition of men, in the tradition is what Jesus fought when speaking about the Pharisees. You can preach he tradition and leave the word of God aside, result: you want to force others to carry a weight that you cannot, hypocrites! Something you did on a soccer game,

this is all tradition! Then comes Zophar and he looks o what he says to Job "You can peer the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty Good? They are higher then heaven! What can you do? They are deeper than the profundities!". What will you be able to do? This is all true! And he said "However, if you devote the heart and extend the hands of the Lord, if you move your hands away from sin and do not allow evil to live in your tent, so you will raise your face with no

shame, you will be strong and fearless". All that he said here is true, but was it applicable to Job? Because he was saying that "Job, are you able to probe God, the knowledge of the deepness of God? God is unfathomable, but, if you do not repent of your errors, not abandon sin". So, wait there, wait here, Job should had looked to Zophar and, Zophar, please read chapter 1:1 "Man, it says there that I am a good person, I do not cross sin, I fear God, this has nothing to do with me!". "It has, Job, it

does. Who wrote that was offering you, was your friend, but this is something yet that you do not said, confess, tell the truth, there is a sin hidden there". Zophar argue based in Legalism, the result was: each one, all was said by three men, based in the truth, but, nothing o f that was applicable to Job, nothing! Eliphaz, experience. Bildad, tradition. Zophar, Legalism. And to each of this arguments Job argue back, to each of arguments Job argue back, the question is, what did the arguments produced in Job? Did it produce healing? Freedom? What? Only the

opposite, the contrary, Job searched more and more to justify based in his deeds, based in his character! To a point that the chapter 29, there is not other chapter likely in the bible, a whole chapter, a man speaking about himself, because I, I, I, I, I, me, me, me, me, mine, mine, mine, mine, all him, I, I and trying to justify himself. And then Job starts to say, "Because my character, my goodness", he started to say that about goodness, as he was respected by the youth, the elderly, the princes, those who helped the poor, the

orphans, the widows, the blind, the lame, those in need, They say "When I went to young people they used to get up and excuse themselves, the older one would bow, the princes covered their mouth, they respected me, I was the leg to the lame, the eyes to the blind, I helped the widows, those in need". He started to present justification trying to tell God "Look at this, my work should set me free from all of his here. I should not be living any of this, because my deeds prove that I am good man, I am

a guy who complies with your wish". Now, look at this consolation of his friends, what they produced, look at what he replied to his friends "The Job answered 'I heard many words as this, poor comforter you are'". There is another version that says "Miserable comforters you are". "Will these useless speech never end? And you, what leads you to keep fighting? Well, I could tell you, if you were in my place, I would condemn them with beautiful speeches, and turn my head away from you". In other words what was Job saying? Easy when it is with

someone else! Because those who bring this prophetical word to the one in trouble, with problems, illness, bankruptcy, and comes to say "No, this is the punishment of God, this is the discipline of God", when with others discipline is a good hing, when with him is persecution from hell! Impressive how it changes, when with others, you are in this bankruptcy because God is disciplining you, you are in the hospital because God is teaching you, you are living this problem in your family, because God is shaping your character. But, when it is with him "The devil rose

against me!". Wait, it means that the criteria changed, t the other is discipline, to you is persecution! Maybe your name is Eliphaz, maybe your name is Zophar, maybe your name is Bildad! Because this is how they thought, so Job answered "Until when you will keep tormenting me and crushing me with words? You already reprimanded me ten times and are you not ashamed?". Look what was going through his mind! Look at what he was thinking, poor Job "If it is true that I avoided errors, my mistake only interests myself. If in fact you are coming after

me and using this to humiliate me, know that God mistreat me and involved me in this net". Well, look what the arguments they had led Job to think! "If I have any problem, the problem is just mine. I do not want to listen to anything that you have to say, this is my problem. Now, I want to let you know "God put me in this position!". God had nothing to do with that, the devil did that, we know that it was he devil, but man always try to justify blaming God and the world. "No, I

am like this because of my parents, or my father, my mother, the society, the government". Brazilian love this kind of thinking, Brazil lives in the past, in social terms, financial, political, we live in the stone age, just for one reason: not because we have bad politicians, we vote in bad politicians, the politicians are bad because we did not choose well. We choose poorly because we do not think well, and we think badly because we have a mentality of self-justification. No, no, the society is guilty, your parents are guilty, the government is guilty, Cabral is the

one to be blamed, because the Portuguese people "If we had being colonized by the Dutch!". Visit the Dutch Guyana and check if they are better than us! "Oh, but if we had being colonized by the French", go and visit the French Guyana! Check if they are better than us! The point is not that, the point is the mentality, while the person thinks...she will go backwards. "My parents are to blame, not my parents, but the government, Cabral". Poor Cabral, the colonization, it is all that. Visit other countries and you will see people thinking "Look, if parents

make mistakes, if the government is bad I do not want to know, I move forward, because with your work I will get there". We need to have this idea, this awareness, specially we, believers "If God is for us who will be against us?". I cannot be in this "Oh, I am this way because of the government. If I lived in a country to earn in dollar". Brothers. are you thinking that living in the USA will sort out your life? You will get there, you will work like a slave, will have to work a lot. It

is true that your work is valuable, but you will have to clean houses, will mop the floor, will clean the floor, will have to accept to do things that you would not do it here! "I will fry hamburgers to earn money, I will deliver pizza, you do not do it here". There you will do it because of the money, but, on the other hand you will have o be 24/7 working, working, with a different mentality. "Today I am delivering pizza, tomorrow I will be the owner of the pizza Parlor". This is how it works the

victorious mentality, today I will deliver pizza, because the Americans accept to work delivering pizza, frying hamburger in McDonald´s because they think "Today I am frying burgers, tomorrow I will be earning as the owner of a McDonald´s. Today I am delivering pizza, tomorrow I will be the owner of the place". What about us? Fry hamburger, deliver pizza, blame the government, deliver pizza, blame my parents, fry hamburger, blame Cabral. Fry hamburger...blame... this, blame this and that. Cabral is not the one to be blamed, the mentality of self-justification, to be trying to...And this Brazilian mentality is "No, but

the government is the one to be blamed, I deserve help with school, money to my family, special place in University, I deserve this, that", why? The mentality of self-justification, blaming the government, the colonization, the Portuguese people. Somebody is guilty "My parents are to blame", stop with this! Accept a mentality of a winner, it does not matter who you were, what matters is who you are in Christ, nothing else! While the three friends of Job were talking, there was one guy, a guy who was quiet the whole time, a guy called Elihu, this Elihu was a

young man who had been quiet because he was very young, in respect to the older ones who kept in a certain distance! The three friends, Job and he was just observing, suddenly he saw that they had nothing else to say, he enters into scene and he says, look at what he said "Elihu had waited to speak with Job because they were older than him, but when he saw that the three had nothing else to say, he was outraged". He was listening, waiting for them to bring the word of hope, a word of the real grace,

a real word of strength, a real word of healing, but, as they did not, they brought experience, Legalism, tradition, so, he entered into scene and he was outraged "Wait there, I was expecting you to go further, you did not, now, I will speak! I gave you the opportunity because you are older, I let you speak, but now I will speak". So, he was he son of Barachel, he said: I am young, you are older, this is why I did not dare say what I know! The older people should talk, this what I thought, you should

be teaching wisdom, but, it is the spirit inside of you that gives understanding, it is the blow of the Almighty Lord, the Spirit of God gives us understanding!". Experience is important, but limited. Tradition, you can have good traditions, act accordingly with the Law, but I need to be guided by the Holy Spirit of God. This is why the original title of this message would get too big. I cannot be guided by experience, by Legalism, by tradition. but I need to be guided by the Spirit of God, because this will take to success. Alleluia. Amen! A

title this big, because in the end I cannot be tied to the mentality of self-justification. No, I am with this problem but I cannot be blamed, I have nothing to do with this, because I am good, because I do, I do this, and I visit, I pray, I read the bible, No, no, no, Elihu is a type of Jesus, he points o Jesus, in the chapters 32 - 38 is Elihu speaking all the time. It is interesting that while the friends of Job, Eliphaz, Bildad, Zophar, they were talking, while they were talking Job always replied,

but, now this guy started in the chapter 32 up to 38, and Job says nothing, he just listens, because when someone argues with you with experience, you give back with experience. When somebody brings Legalism, you return Legalism. When somebody brings tradition, you return tradition. But, when Jesus speak, you stop to listen! You stop and listen, and it is funny what on chapter 39 Elihu speaks bringing to Job the understanding, the grace, then it says on chapter 39 "Then, God, started to speak with Job, from the wind of the whirlpool". Then God started to speak with

Job and int he end Job does not open his mouth, only on chapter 2 Job says "Well, I knew you just from hearing, but, now, after I heard Elihu, now I heard Your voice in this whirlpool, now my eyes can see you, not based in the experience anymore, not based in tradition anymore, no more in Legalism, but based in relationship. Now I do not know God just from heating about Him, now I know God because He is close, He is the one who heals me, He restores me, He gives me comfort, He gives me consolation,

He pull up from the bottom". Amen! Look at what Elihu said "Or someone may be chastened on a bed of pain with constant distress in their bones, so that their body finds food repulsive and their soul loathes the choicest meal. Their flesh wastes away to nothing, and their bones, once hidden, now stick out. They draw near to the pit, and their life to the messengers of death. Yet if there is an angel at their side, a messenger, one out of a thousand, sent to tell them how to be upright, and he is gracious to that

person and says to God, ‘Spare them from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for them— let their flesh be renewed like a child’s; let them be restored as in the days of their youth’— then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see God’s face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well-being". Alleluia, look at what he told Job! The guy lived many situations, he was ill, he lost weight, he did not want to eat, not even his favorite food, he rejected, he describes

a clear case of one in hospital, suffering and being consumed by a cancer, he guy loses weight, the bones are appearing, and somebody comes to say something, a non sense talk, based in experience, another based in tradition, another in Legalism. But, if you appears, one in thousand, a messenger, the word of an angel here, not angel with wings, but a messenger, one in thousand, one who brings negative messages, of the law and judgment. But, one comes to bring the word of the grace, one comes saying "Look, God cares about you, He loves you unconditionally, He

heals you, He sets you free, you already found rescue, God already rescued you. Jesus is the rescue for you, if one comes, if one brings the message and this person is healed, and her flesh already have been consumed and turns as flesh of a child, he is healed, he is restored. But, it is needed that appears one, at least one who will take that person to he word of grace, not a prophetical word of judgment. A prophetical word of three days if you wish, no, no, somebody will appear to say "God loves you". You do

not need to say "God heals you", you just need to say "God loves you unconditionally". Alleluia!
