How to Align Your Business with God's Purpose and Prosper

unfortunately getting solid Sound business advice from someone who is a Christian but also knows what they're talking about on the business end tends to be rare if you are a faith-based or spirit-led entrepreneur you're in the right place the most viral people online right now giving business advice rarely come from a Christian standpoint I feel like there's two extremes on the one hand people online giving advice tend to be hyper masculine men who are screaming at other men telling them that because they don't drive a nicer car they're worth and they need to get it

together and then on the other side we have the feminine like boss babe manifesting New Age spiritual coaches who are teaching quote unquote energy work and the lack of business advice that comes from a Biblical perspective is why I'm creating this series I think when we see that something is lacking instead of complaining about it we should do something about it in this video I'm going to share with you how you can find true inner peace and contentment despite how turbulent and entrepreneurship and freelancing can be I'm going to share with you how God has

taught me to balance ambition while also being content and keeping the big picture in mind it's really easy to get carried away and lose sight of everything because you just want business success so bad maybe like me you're running away from a past where you didn't feel successful or worthy and now this is your chance to prove yourself and you're wrapping a lot of yourself worth in your performance in your career or your income I want to share with you how God has really led me through that challenge and if you're wondering how you can

how to build their business online doing what they love to do from home on their own schedule I also want to preface this video by sharing with you that I was not raised Christian I came to Christ at age 30 so I'm coming from a bit of a fresh perspective of I know what it's like to operate my whole life without relying on God and now I'm in complete submission to him or at least I'm trying every day to get to that point so please keep in mind that regardless of where you are on your

faith Journey this video is going to provide value finding peace of mind and contentment in the absolute turbulence that is entrepreneurship can feel impossible and I struggled for years trying to find that peace whether it was through meditation um yoga all of the relaxation techniques breath work you name it I've tried it all but the only actual lasting peace I found is through scripture and God's word if you are not in God's word yet please I urge you to open up the Bible and start reading it I can provide resources I have a video here

all about how you can start reading the Bible as a beginner or approach your faith as a beginner I do think it's not as easy as people make it out to be I know for me even though I came to Christ and you know started walking with him I couldn't connect to the Bible I Tried reading it it just felt super unapproachable I don't know what it was maybe I was blinded and I just wasn't ready yet but once I got in the word everything changed my whole mindset my whole view of the world and

my life changed for the better so I can't recommend scripture enough if you're following me on Instagram you will know I am sharing my quiet time in the Bible every single morning till I start my day it's the ultimate morning routine in a world where everybody tells you that you need this 10-step morning routine maybe it's cold plunging or meditating I have tried so many type of morning routines to be a successful entrepreneur with this optimized morning routine and actually just reading the word studying it journaling praying oh my gosh has given me this peace

and this centeredness that I have never been able to achieve in my 33 years of life now this is something that has really changed for me internally recently and in 2023 I had a big realization that the way I was viewing business and success was really unhealthy from a mental emotional physical spiritual perspective I quite honestly was obsessed with making money and making my business work and building it and not necessarily out of a place of greed it was more me running from the past where I felt like I needed to build generational wealth in

my family where there was none I needed to make something of myself in order to feel worthy maybe to prove people wrong from the Past who had doubted me it was all from a place of wanting to prove my worth and it really developed into absolute workaholism the problem was I wanted more and more and it became an insatiable Drive no matter what Milestones I hit or the income goals that I achieved it was just on to the next thing I definitely was someone who always would tell other people hey you got to celebrate the

little wins or else you're going to get discouraged and you're going to stop but deep down I was really on a constant marry go around and always moving on to the next thing we can read a million Instagram quotes that tell us that material items are not fulfilling and that we need to you know keep focused on the bigger goal and not be obsessed with material wealth but if deep down that is not changed if God's word hasn't come into you and actually given you a different vantage point no matter how many nice quotes you

read you're still going to have this feeling of lack and this insatiable drive to prove yourself and do more and that's how I felt I really feel that God answered my prayer as I was praying to him please God this addiction to work this constant marry go around that I feel myself on help me help me out of this because I can't let go of this on my own and I can truly say that God has delivered me from that Obsession and that addiction to work God says don't store up Treasures here on Earth where

moths eat them and rust destroys them and where thieves break in and steal store your Treasures in Heaven where moths and rust cannot destroy and thieves do not break in and steal wherever your treasure is there the desires of your heart will also be realizing that I'm really not in control of my life has been so so freeing I know that might sound antithetical like okay feeling out of control but just knowing that all of my steps are being directed by God and that I've surrendered to him has really helped release so much pressure because

I thought I had to make everything happen and it just never allowed me to really get into a state of joy and contentedness in what I was doing as someone who was in The New Age I read a ton of spiritual books about letting go and surrendering I have to tell you unless you know who you're surrendering to it's never going to fully feel comfortable to surrender right it's almost like just letting go when you're in a raging River and trusting the river wouldn't you rather cling on to something that you know can save you

right like a lifeguard or a life raft I'm just giving an analogy um I think New Age spirituality and people who consider the universe God are just waiting for that raging River to somehow save them and they have to just surrender to it whereas Christians are relying on an actual life raft an actual lifeguard and then that allows us to feel real Assurance because it's someone who we're clinging to it's someone who we're trusting with our business and our life when you know who you are in God when you know he doesn't care about your

Ambitions yes he cares if you work hard and if you're honest but that you're worth is not determined by your status and your income that's where true Joy is found and now now if I don't get it all done in a day if I'm not super productive if I don't reach that goal I don't feel like as much of a failure as I used to feel what I've learned since walking with Christ the past 4 and a half so years is that God won't always show you every step of the way a lot of the

times he'll prompt you or urge you and however you hear from God he'll nudge you in a Direction but it is your job to walk in faith and take that step and the rest unfolds God isn't magic eightball the Bible isn't a magic eightball where you just open it and point at something and find the answer to what you're looking for the good news is is that if you're ever wondering what God wants for your life it can be found in the Bible we have the direct word of God written for us and we do

have access to his instruction and guidance for life there's something so so calming and peaceful about that I know many people think that Christianity is rigid and oh you know don't tell me what to do with my life and how to live but as someone who lived a completely different lifestyle for most of my life and the fact that I was going my own way I really can say for sure that the principles in the Bible instructing us on how to get the most joy out of life is so clear to me that God wants

what's best for us and that his rules are for our best interest and of course he's filled with grace for the times that we stumble and mess up but it is nice to have a road map I think we're all looking for a road map and we're looking for principles that will help us live a better life and I'm telling you they can be found in scripture so when I started my brand paid copy.com it's not that God said I want you to start this business I really felt a nudge from God that I needed

to go beyond doing copyrighting work for my freelance clients that I needed to create my own platform and write in my own voice so keep in mind to this point I'm working full-time ghost writing and writing the opinions of other people of Executives but nothing nothing came from me my voice was undetectable in anything because as a copywriter your voice is to write on behalf of your clients not yourself so when God really urged me to start something I felt him nudging me to help others to provide value to others and I didn't feel him

saying you know bring people to Faith talk about your faith no it was like I've brought you to this point where you've escaped her 9 to-5 job now go help other people that was the urging I felt and because I was was so afraid to actually get online and talk to the phone talk to the camera to write in my own voice I felt like God was pressing on me because I didn't really want to do it I'd rather have stayed comfortable but he was pushing me out of my comfort zone and telling me do

something expressed yourself online and I took that nudge I I took that step in faith and began the research process and said okay what do people need to know if I'm going to help other Freelancers achieve what I what I've achieved where do they need the most help it started with something as simple as that I spent days at a time going down rabbit holes learning about ebooks how to publish an ebook what the whole process was and lo and behold throughout that research process I actually discovered that if I really wanted to help people

and make a profit creating a digital course was the best way to go about it versus just publishing a lowcost eBook and trying to get enough traffic to that ebook it was really the digital course space where I would be best suited so I had to go and learn mind you I knew nothing about digital courses I had to enroll in coaching and you know spend a pretty penny to learn how to do that to learn how to get online and create a social media presence I didn't know how to do any of it and

I didn't know that I would even go that route I had no intention of becoming an online course creator I had no intention of getting on YouTube these are things that unfolded as just logical next steps because I took that one step in OB obedience so my advice to you is however God speaks to you however your best ideas and urgings come to you whether it's on walks whether it's listening to music whether it's getting in flow for me personally it's journaling when I'm journaling out my thoughts I feel like I get downloads I feel

like God can really speak to me and it quiets my mind and allows me to organize my thoughts that's how I came about it but you have to find out when God speaks to you now a little disclaimer I want to give about this time in my life where I got the idea for paid copy.com and got the idea to build a business online and create the second stream of income it just so happened that I was also at the lowest point in my life I had just gone through a lot of Rocky experiences um

in business we really need to be seeking God's Direction and his wisdom in every aspect of what we're doing in Jeremiah 29 it says for I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope then you will call upon me and go and pray to me and I will listen to you and you will seek me find me when you search for me with all your heart I will be found by you says the Lord I really love that
