now is the time for us to make our discipleship our highest priority in this conference 4 years ago president Nelson gave us a prophetic challenge for for our own day are you willing to let God Prevail in your life are you willing to let God be the most important influence in your life will you allow his words his Commandments and his covenants to influence what you do each day will you allow his voice to take priority over any other when we choose to let God be the most powerful influence in our life over our self

Serv and Pursuits we can make progress in our discipleship and increase our capacity to unite our mind and heart with the Savior the Savior urged us to look unto him in every thought doubt not fear not each of us and those around us face our own storms of opposition and waves of trials that submerge us daily those malicious waves could jle us from side to side but do not forget who has power over those waves and in fact over all things that is our Savior Jesus Christ in the world the Savior said ye shall have

tribulation but be of good cheer keep a brightness of hope I have overcome the world he has the power to help us out of every miserable condition or adverse situation in coming days we will see the greatest manifestations of the savior's power that the world has ever seen we all have access to the gift of God's power we are members of the Church of Jesus Christ The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is preparing the world for the day when the Earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as Disciples of Jesus

Christ latterday Saints can make a positive difference in the world why do Latter-Day Saints live so differently there are many good answers because you are a child of God because you have been saved for the last days because you are a disciple of Jesus Christ but those answers don't always set you apart in the ordinance of the AC we Covenant each Sabbath day that we will always remember him and keep his Commandments partaking of the bread and water is a weekly reminder of his power working in you to help you overcome wearing the Garment of

the Holy priesthood is a daily reminder of the gift of his power working in you to help you become because of the Covenant relationship you have chosen to enter with him and your father in Heaven is it too much for God to expect you to live differently than his other children so you can better lead and serve them in the house of the Lord we focus on Jesus Christ we learn of him we make covenants to follow him we come to know him as we kep keep our Temple covenants we gain greater access to the

Lord's strengthening power the Lord's House his holy scriptures his holy prophet and apostles Inspire us to strive to our personal Holiness through the doctrine of Christ and Holiness to the Lord makes daily living sacred it draws us closer and happier to the Lord in each other and prepares us to live with God our Father Jesus Christ and our loved ones by his atonement Jesus Christ made it possible for us if we are worthy to return to the presence of Our Father in heaven and be with our families for eternity without his restored church today there

is no Authority the Lord has restored his gospel with the necessary ordinances so that Heavenly father's children can have all the promises that bind us to him this is the way and there is no other way nor name given under heaven whereby man and wom can be saved in the Kingdom of God in the Book of Mormon the lord gave us the fundamentals in what he called the doctrine of Christ and now this is the doctrine of Christ and the only true doctrine of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost our

faith in the Lord Jesus Christ faith is beautiful because it persist even when blessings don't come is hoped for we can see the future we don't know all the answers but we can trust Jesus Christ as we keep moving forward and upward because he is our savior and Redeemer repentance baptism receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost enduring to the end and becoming as a little child which means to trust the Lord and submit to all he requires of us to trust means to obey willingly without knowing the end from the beginning I testify that

as we receive the ordinances of the Gospel enter into covenants with God and then keep those covenants repent serve others and endure to the end we too can have the assurance and complete trust in the Lord that mortality works I invite you to commit yourself more fully to the Savior his gospel and his church as you do so you'll find that the combination of the savior's gospel and his church brings power into your life the Lord invites us to walk with him to fortify Our Hope in a time of increasing wickedness the Lord has directed

his Prophet to dot the Earth with his temples why are we building temples at such an unprecedented Pace because the Lord has instructed us to do so the blessings of the temple help to gather Israel on both sides of the Veil Christ always commands his people to build temples where he manifests himself unto them and endows them with power from on high every sincere seeker of Jesus Christ will find him in the temple president rosalem Nelson Has testified nothing will open the heavens more than worshiping in the temple nothing this is why I cherish my

through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through his sufferings he has a made a way for each of us to overcome our personal weaknesses and sins you might know something secret about yourself that makes you feel unlovable however right you might be about what you know about yourself you're wrong to think that you've put yourself beyond the reach of God's love my dear friends do you feel inadequate do you feel unworthy are you second guessing yourselves please first doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith perhaps you my worry and ask do I measure up

is it too late for me why do I keep failing when I'm trying my absolute best if then sometimes the harder you try the more difficult difficult it seems to get if just as you try to work on your limitations and your shortcomings you find someone or something determined to challenge your returning Faith you may wonder if your heavenly father loves you the answer is a resounding absolute yes however misshapen we might feel we are his arms are not shortened no they are always long enough to reach our reaching and embrace each one of us

God lovely assur us that no matter where we are or what we have done there is no point of no return He ways ready to embrace us we stay the course with the True Church of Christ why because as With Our Redeemer we signed on for the whole term you've got this because Jesus Christ has got you he has all power to save every man that believeth on his name and bringeth forth fruit meat for repentance regardless of whether we feel close to him he still can reach us where we are as we are Our

Savior atonement is infinite and eternal he comprehended all things and he is a merciful being even unto salvation to those who repent and believe on his name let us not wait for things to get hard before turning to God let us not wait until the end of our mortal life to truly repent instead let us now no matter which part of the Covenant path we're on focus on the Redemptive power of Jesus Christ and on Heavenly father's desire for us to return my heart aches for those who are admired in sin and don't know how

to get out I weep for those who struggle spiritually or who carry heavy burdens alone because they do not understand what Jesus Christ did for them being filled with God love Shields Us in life storms as we reach out to him in faith he will always be there and in his time he will be ready and willing to grasp our hands and pull us up to the safe place the Savior descended below all things and is in a Divine position to lift you and claim you from the darkest abyss and bring you into His Marvelous

Light we are members of the Church of Joy we can and should be the most joyful people on Earth brothers and sisters now is the time for you and for me to prepare for the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ the lord senior Apostle president Russell M Nelson has spoken of the joy that comes from a life centered on Jesus Christ in nearly every address he has given since becoming the president of the church come unto Christ and offer your whole soul to him this is the secret of life of joy

even unconsciously taken up to offend ourselves from the blessings of God's love we cannot look to and focus upon Jesus Christ as the Mark if we only see ourselves weapons of Pride selfishness fear hate offense complacency unrighteous judgment jealousies anything that would keep us from loving God with all our hearts and keeping all our covenants with him may I suggest that if you or I believe we are sufficiently strong and stalwart to avoid the arrogance of Pride then perhaps we already are suffering from this deadly spiritual disease may we bury very very deep any element

of rebellion against God in our lives burying our weapons of rebellion leads to a unique Joy there is always much more that unites us than divides us let us avoid what is Harsh and hateful the Savior pled be one and if you're not one you are not mine by the grace of Christ God will forgive our sins and rebellions of the past and will take away the stain of those sins and rebellions from our hearts he will not only forgive our sins but he will also change our very nature so that we have no more

disposition to do evil we do need each other and that need brings us together we need to love and do good to all does your Birthright mean you are better than others no but it does mean you are are expected to help others be better we need to avoid contention and be peacemakers in all of our Communications does your Birthright mean you are chosen yes but not chosen to rule over others you are chosen to serve them this does not mean to compromise our principles and priorities but to cease harshly attacking others for theirs is

your Birthright evidence of God's love yes but more important it is evidence of his trust I testify that placing your trust in heavenly father and in His prophets in whom he has sent will help you to spiritually Elevate and push you forward towards God's expanded Horizon I bear my solemn witness that Jesus Christ is the Son of God I am his disciple I'm honored to be his servant Jesus Took upon himself not only our sins but also our sicknesses afflictions and infirmities I will be on your right hand and on your left and my spirit

shall be in your hearts and mine Angels round about you to Bear you up end quote but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and they shall Mount up with wings as Eagles and they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint there is no limit to the savior's capacity to help you as we concentrate our hearts and Minds on heavenly father in Jesus Christ and listen to the still small voice of the Holy Ghost we will have greater clarity about what is most needful develop deeper compassion

and find rest and strength in him even as the storms of life in an often troubled World pound upon us we can cultivate a growing and abiding sense of joy and inner peace because of our hope in Christ and our understanding of our own place in the beautiful plan of happiness because of the atonement only the truly penitent are saved I urge you to devote time each week for the rest of your life to increase your understanding of the atonement of Jesus Christ Our process of atment with God may feel challenging but you and I

can pause be still look to the Savior I testify that he is the great UniFi when the focus of Our Lives is on Jesus Christ and his gospel we can feel Joy regardless of what is happening or not happening in our lives our heavenly father and his son Our Redeemer have confirmed their unending commitment to our ultimate happiness if you will make and keep covenants to follow Jesus Christ your afflictions will be swallowed up in the joy of Christ I had my Apostolic witness that Jesus Christ is the Son of God our Lord and savior

the Redeemer of all of our father's children to any who have stepped away and are seeking a chance to return I offer an eternal truth and invitation you belong come back it is time through the power of the Sacred priesthood keys I hold I declare this truth to you and to all the world welcome to the Church of Joy
