Video Transcript:
imagine standing on the shore of a pristine Beach the turquoise waves gently kissing the golden sand under the warmth of our sun this is Earth our home a blue paradise teeming with life from The Towering redwoods of California to the vibrant coral reefs of the Great Barrier Reef Earth May well be the most spectacular place in the universe a place where life paints a canvas of magnificent colors sounds and activities but are we alone in this existence is Earth completely unique and anomaly of the universe well the exoplanet we are about to visit May well
hold some of those answers as it orbits a sunlike star in a region that suggests it could be happen profitable but the journey to this Mysterious World is no small feat at a distance of nearly 1,800 light years away even our current fastest spacecraft would take tens of millions of years to reach this exoplanet a humbling thought but luckily for us with this simulation we can travel faster than the speed of light we can travel vast distances in the blink of of an eye you are traveling with v101 space my name is Rob and if
you enjoy your journey then please remember to like And subscribe for much more to come this is Kepler 452b and the first thing you will notice is that it resembles Earth it is covered in blue oceans seas and lakes this is because Kepler 452b orbits its host star at a distance where temperatures might allow for liquid water to flow on its surface making it one of the most promising candidates for habitability among the known exoplanets discovered so far what wonders might exist on this Mysterious World not only does Kepler 452b sit inside the habitable zone
it also orbits its sunlike star every 385 days slightly longer than our year it has a diameter about 1.6 times that of Earth and a mass approximately 5 times greater suggesting that it is a rocky planet with the potential of active volcanoes towering mountains vast plains and possibly a thick atmosphere creating a Dynam dnamic and potentially habitable surface if the conditions are right and the correct chemical building blocks are present then the surface of this world may well have the potential to be covered in strange unknown life Kepler 452b sunlike star is actually estimated to
be 1.5 billion years older than the Sun and so if intelligent life has managed to evolve here then they could be more than a billion years ahead of us this is why astronomers nicknamed this exoplanet corent after the Star Wars Planet whose surface is encased in a single Globe spanning high tech City although in a hypothetical future where humans have discovered alien life and have the capabilities of exploring such alien cities this planet would be high hard work at the surface gravity would be about twice that of Earth's making even walking or jumping for us
mere earthlings twice as difficult yet the true nature of this exoplanet's environment remains cloaked in mystery it may orbit a sunlike star and share many similarities with Earth but as we have discovered this star is far older than ours 1.5 billion I years older meaning that Kepler 452b receives 10% more energy and if it does have an atmosphere then this may have caused a runaway greenhouse effect similar to what we see on Venus today this exoplanet might resemble more of a hellhole than a blue paradise although this is a hypothetical Journey it fuels the imagination
of what else might be out there is our plan it's really the only one capable of nurturing intelligent beings that are attempting to comprehend the wonders of the universe maybe but the universe is vast and so I would bet that there are other blue paradises like ours out there waiting to be discovered possibly waiting to be contacted I hope you enjoyed this video If if you did then tap the like button and subscribe where shall we visit next let me know in the comments section below thank you for watching and I'll see you next time
