4 million views 6 million views 9 million views 12 million views I've been creating YouTube shorts for over 3 years now and I finally figured out the exact blueprint to consistently going viral and today I'm going to be teaching you this exact formula now this video won't be like those other basic tutorials where all they do is tell you to go into a certain Niche or use a specific hashtag no instead I'm going to show you the exact viral form formula that all of the top creators use to blow up their shorts and go viral
every single time and make sure you watch this video Until the End because I'm giving five people free access to any one of my online courses now I'll share all the details on how to get my courses for free at the end of this video so please do stick around for that but before I show you how to break the algorithm with this strategy we first need to understand how it actually works well first things first the job of the algorithm is to Simply show the best most engaging content on the platform it will do
as much as it can to help you get views and push your content so as long as you can make engaging shorts of a higher attention rate then blowing up is pretty much guaranteed now if you feel like the algorithm is not pushing your content it's not because the algorithm is working against you it simply means that your content isn't quite good enough yet but we're here to change that now when I first started creating shorts I had no idea what I was doing and my shorts would barely break 200 views but that was 3
years ago and I've been improving my content quality since then and now I get millions of views on most of my shorts especially on this channel with over 145,000 subscribers but I've also helped eating with Tod get over 150,000 subscribers and millions of views on his shorts too and none of this was luck this was all because of a carefully executed viral strategy and here it is so I like to create shorts using the Huck Line and Sinker method me this method works every single time but before I tell you what the hu Line and
Sinker method is you need to consider two things before you start creating a Shore now firstly this goes about saying you need to know who your target audience is as with any piece of content you create you need to consider who you're trying to Target the better you know your audience the more accurate you can make your content and for example someone like Nisha who is one of the biggest personal finance gurus on YouTube has nailed her target audience down to a te so every piece of content she creates goes viral because she knows exactly
what makes her audience tick and this makes creating content easy so before you create your next short you need to consider who your target viewers are and think about what they'd like to see now the next point which is absolutely the most important thing about creating any content is your value offering so your value offering is the value you give to your viewer as a reward for them watching your content and value comes in three forms it's either educational informative or entertaining your short needs to fit into one of those categories or it simply just
won't work now for example Mr BEAST's content is solely entertainment based the value he provides is simply just pure entertainment now think media on the other hand or your typical how-to videos are solely educational and you watch their videos to learn something which is their value offering or let's say Marcus Brown Lee The Tech Guy is more informative based because he gives information on new tech so you need to think is your sh either educational entertainment or informative it has to be one of those three things and if it's none of those don't bother posting
it because it's going to go nowhere now the most viral shorts you see these days are mainly entertainment-based informative and educational tend to be longer form videos and shorts are normally always entertainment so that's the typical rule of fun okay so now you thought about who you want to Target with your shorts and what your value offering is we can finally move on to the Hook Line and Sinker method so obviously we start with the hook which is the most important part of your shorts structure now a hook is basically a visual or a sound
at the very start of your short that gets people to stop scrolling now as you know it's so easy to just scroll endlessly through shorts and it's incredibly hard to capture someone's attention now but that's where your hook comes in this is your attention grabber and this is what you do to stop people scrolling and watch your short you only really have a maximum of two seconds to hug someone in before they swipe away for good your hook obviously needs to be right at the start of your video within the first 2 seconds to stop
people from scrolling past now a hook can be split into two types either a visual hook or an audio hook and now I'm going to show you examples of both now firstly my best Shir on my Travel Channel with 6 million views which has an audio hook and then another example from Mr Beast one of his most viral recent shorts now Mr Beast recently posted this famous jet engine short where he sat behind a jet engine now it's genius because especially if you're a guy we've all wondered just how powerful a jet engine would be
if you stood behind it and he's basically captivated that into a short so let's play the first few seconds his visual Hook is literally him Sat on a red chair with a newspaper right up behind a jet engine with a 1% loading graphic above now this instantly catches your attention because who on Earth would ever be sat behind a jet engine on a red chair with a newspaper like it's genius it immediately grabs your attention and makes you hucked now this is purely a visual hook and and the 1% bar you see above is also
genius because it hugs people in and it shows you there's still 99% left to go and these kind of Graphics can really help improve your content now let's look at the hook for my sh what are these excuse me uh what what are these now obviously it's not a Mr Beast level of production but within the first two seconds I point at something whilst talking towards it and ask what are these which is an example of an audio hook because I'm literally asking the viewer what are these so people will either think a they know
what it is or B they might be interested to find out what it is so that's how I hooked them okay then so this now brings us on to the next section which is the line now the line basically refers to the buildup now once you've hooked them in and you've caught their attention you now need to start building up to the Sinker so I like to think of this as if you're giving them a line you're building up curiosity and you're making your viewer want to stick around to find out exactly what happens next
now for example let's go back to Mr Beast short now this short again is genius because he uses this loading bar above and you can see it starts at 1% and then builds up slowly to 100% And obviously everyone wants to see what happens at 100% strength but instead of doing that right away he slowly builds up to it with different strengths using different scenes now this is creating curiosity and building up momentum and these kind of Graphics he uses are genius and they really improve the content now I know for small and new YouTubers
it's difficult to include high quality Graphics or designs and it's something that I struggled with massively at the start of my YouTube Journey too but high quality professional looking visuals are essential to capturing your audience's retention whether that's on short or long form content and that's where K comes in now K is a powerful graphic design tool with over 5 million customers already and they are taking over the graphic design space now I use this platform for all of the engaging Graphics that including these videos to make them more visually appealing and I also use
a market leading thumbnail design Builder which is where I create all my thumbnails with ease which is one of the reasons you clicked on this video in the first place you can either use a pre-made template crafted by worldclass designers to make your life easier or you can do it yourself using high quality elements photos and textures they also have an AI image generator built in which is an absolute Game Changer now if you sign up using the link and promo code below you'll get a whopping 25% discount on all of K's plans which is
incredible value for money and even if you didn't want to pay straight away you can set up a free account and first give it a try guys they have so much free stuff on there which is incredibly helpful for YouTube growth and I 100% recommend you give it a try okay then back to the video so now that we've given them the hook and the line lastly we have the Sinker now this bit is essentially the value they came for it's what we call the payoff now the payoff should only ever be given at the
end of your SH now for example Mr Beast saves the 100% jet engine strength right until the last second and this is what people wanted to see this was the payoff however if he showed you that bit halfway through most people would just swiped away after seeing it because they already got what they came for so he kept his payoff value right until the last second which boosted his average view duration massively and kept people watching and I did the same thing here with my sh I kept people watching right until the end because they
wanted to see my reaction after eating the weird street food and that was a payoff value of my sh and again I kept it right until the end so obviously the more people you have watching until the end the more new viewers that the algorithm will suggest your short too because the more people that watching to the end the algorithm thinks it's good content and it's one of the best metrics for Success okay then so just to recap in the first two seconds you need to hug people in using something visual or Audi based you
then need to give them the line to build up some curiosity and tension and of course you need to wait to give the payoff value right until the end okay then so now for those of you who are interested in winning one of my on online courses for free here's how it's going to go I'm going to pick five people and give them free access to any one of my online courses you have the choice of any course you see here now all you need to do to enter is to set up a profile and
