A Humble Prayer for God’s Protection and Deliverance | Psalm 86 Prayer | Morning Prayer

before we pray let's listen to God's word and then we'll pray together Psalm 86 a prayer of David hear me Lord and answer me for I am poor and needy guard my life for I am faithful to you save your servant who trusts in you you are my God have mercy on me Lord for I call to you all day long bring joy to your servant Lord for I put my trust in you you Lord are forgiven and good abounding in love to all who call to you hear my prayer Lord listen to My Cry

for Mercy when I am in distress I call to you because you answer me among the gods there is none like you Lord no Deeds can compare with yours all the nations you have made will come and worship before you Lord they will bring glory to your name for you are great and do marvelous Deeds you alone are God teach me your way Lord that I may rely on your faithfulness give me an undivided heart that I may fear your name I will praise you Lord my God with all my heart I will glorify your

name forever for Great Is Your Love toward me you have delivered me from the depths from the realm of the Dead arrogant foes are attacking me oh God Ruthless People are trying to kill me they have no regard for you but you Lord are a compassionate and gracious God slow to anger abounding in love and faithfulness turn to me and have mercy on me show your strength in behalf of your servant save me because I serve you just as my mother did give me a sign of your goodness that my enemies may see it and

be put to shame for you Lord have helped me and comforted me now let's pray together heavenly father I acknowledge your greatness and authority over all creation and I am in awe of who you are you are the king of kings and Lord of lords and yet you invite me into your presence with grace and mercy may your name be lifted high in every aspect of my life for you are worthy of all the honor all the praise and all the worship I can give Lord I desire to draw closer to you you to know

you more deeply and to experience Your Love More fully help me to surrender my heart to you completely trusting that your ways are higher than mine and that your plans for me are good I long to be transformed by your presence to reflect your love and glory in all that I do May every word every thought and every action in my life bring honor to your name Lord I ask that you give me a heart that truly seeks you in prayer a heart that desires to connect with you intimately and consistently I know that without

a heart that longs for you my prayers will lack depth and sincerity I don't want to just go through the motions but I want my prayers to flow from a place of genuine love and devotion Holy Spirit I need your guidance teach me how to pray with power and authority believing in the promises of God and standing firm in faith help me to pray with boldness not shrinking back in fear or doubt but trusting that you hear me and that you are working on my behalf teach me how to keep praying even when I feel

weary or when answers don't come right away I want to be persistent in prayer never giving up knowing that you are faithful your word tells me that in times of suffering I should turn to you in prayer Lord sometimes when I'm hurting it's hard to find the words and it's hard to know how to pray but I know that you understand my pain even when I can't fully express it so in those moments of difficulty help me to come to you with a heart that's open trusting that you are my refuge and my strength remind

me that I am never alone in my struggles because you are always with me when life feels overwhelming and I feel lost help me to call on your name knowing that you are my stronghold my safe place and my ever present help in times of trouble I bless your Holy Name Jesus for You Are My Shelter and my protector and I find comfort and peace in your presence even in my darkest moments you are the light that guides me and I know that I can trust in your goodness thank you for your promises Lord for

they are a constant source of Hope and strength for me your word in Isaiah 45:2 reassures me when you say I will go before you and level the mountains I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron what an incredible promise Lord that you will go before me clearing the way removing obstacles and making a path where there seems to be none I cling to that promise trusting that you are always working for my good even when I cannot see it Lord go before me each day in every decision every

Challenge and every step I take I don't want to rely on my own understanding or strength but I want to trust that you are leading me Holy Spirit help me to put you first in every area of my life first in my home in the way I love and serve my family first in my finances trusting that you will provide for my needs and first in my relationships making sure that love patience and grace are at the center of all that I do you alone deserve to be first in my heart because there is no

one and nothing else that compares to your greatness you are God and I trust you with every part of of my life father I ask for your mercy over my life I know that I fall short every day and I am in constant need of your grace look upon me with compassion even when I make mistakes and fail to live as you have called me to thank you that your love for me is unconditional and that nothing can separate me from your love help me to value my time with you Lord and to make it

a priority in my life in the busyness of my days it's so easy to neglect my time with you but I know that it's in your presence that I am renewed refreshed and strengthened birth in me a deep longing to spend time with you to commune with you in prayer and to meditate on your word let that time with you be sacred something I cherish Above All Else Holy Spirit help me to keep prayer and reading your word as the foundation of my life even when I am busy and pull pull in many directions keep

my priorities aligned with your kingdom let my heart always be set on you seeking your guidance and wisdom in everything I do I pray Lord that your Holy Spirit would guard my heart against the distractions and pressures of this world that try to pull me away from you so often I find myself consumed by the demands of life and it's easy to let my relationship with you slip into the background but I know that nothing in this world is more important than my relationship with you Holy Spirit continue to Draw Me Closer to You tugging

at my heart and calling me to return to the things of God when I begin to drift away let me never grow comfortable with being distant from you but let there always be a deep desire in my heart to know you more help me to keep my eyes fixed on heaven to live each day with eternity in mind revive my spirit Lord and renew my passion for you let me chase after you with everything I have knowing that in you I will find the Fulfillment my heart desires all the glory honor and praise belong to
