Hey guys! All good? Today I'm going to talk about five forbidden foods for breakfast.
If you want to start your day well, if you want to prevent illness, you must avoid this type of food. Starting your day off right is important for several reasons and I'll tell you why. But first, you need to know which are the five foods you should exclude from your diet, especially at the beginning of the day!

I myself don't like to start my day without ingesting absolutely nothing!
I feel so much better when I have a good breakfast! I already like to exercise first thing in the morning! So, I need my reinforced breakfast there to be able to train better.

A healthy diet gives you more energy. Imagine you slept, stayed there for a few hours without eating, now you need to eat for your body to replenish your energy. Breakfast will provide you with the necessary nutrients, such as carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats, to fuel your body and provide energy for the rest of your day!
So, a good breakfast, without the forbidden foods that I'll tell you about, can even improve your cognitive performance, help with concentration, memory, your performance during the day. The nutrients you eat for breakfast will better nourish your brain, providing fuel for you to burn through the day. Another important thing is appetite regulation.
So sometimes you don't eat anything or eat everything wrong for breakfast, then your appetite ends up getting all out of whack! You end up feeling much more hungry at lunchtime! And when you eat well, make good choices throughout the day, you will definitely be less hungry!
This helps a lot, for example, if you have binge eating. There are people who go a long time without eating and when they eat, they destroy everything they see ahead! You must know someone like that, right, who doesn't eat right and when they're going to eat they make that plate, that giant plate that you're even scared to see!
Another person's day is the one who doesn't eat anything because he thinks that by not eating anything he will end up losing weight. This is a myth, people! It's the opposite!
When you eat well, you stimulate your metabolism. Breakfast itself, if you eat well, with healthy foods, you can accelerate weight loss even more, accelerate muscle mass gain even more. You will activate your metabolism, burn more calories and in a much more efficient way during the day!

First food: processed foods. So, avoid those highly processed foods like sugary cereals, packaged cakes, cookies, those donuts. These foods are often high in added sugars and low in nutrient value.
That is, you will be ingesting a lot of calories for little nutrient! The most that will happen to you is to increase your weight, you will become more swollen, that will not do you any good! Second food: soft drinks and sugary juices.
"Wow, doc! But I don't drink that! " Maybe you don't, but believe me, there are a lot of people who drink soda and those juices full of sugar, first thing in the morning!
I know a lot of people, even a friend of mine, who do this! Even a doctor who does this! But, sugary drinks like soft drinks, industrialized juices, contain a lot of added sugar and few nutrients.
You know those powdered drinks in a box or bag, so, for God's sake! Take it out of your diet! Prefer to drink water, a good tea, a coffee, have a juice, make a juice right there on the spot, a fruit juice.
If you don't have time to make your own juice, get that juice that is sold, which is 100% whole, which is also sold in the market! Always remember to read the label of everything you buy in the market. If it says sugar on the juice, or if it says on the package, for example, 60% fruit pulp, remember that the rest then, 40% is probably water and sugar!

Third food: it's fast food, folks! So, remember I said that there are people who wake up and first thing in the morning they get that pizza from the day before and eat it? So, avoid these fast-food foods, especially at the beginning of the day!
Hamburger, pizza, fries, coxinha, pastry, and so on. . .
There are countless foods that are rich in fat, sodium, calories that are going to be bad for you, are going to be bad for your health! Fourth food: they are sweet. So avoid cakes, sweets, cookies for breakfast!
This all contains a lot of fat and sugar! The perfect combination to make you more and more hungry, wanting to eat more! Of course, if you're traveling, spending your holidays at the hotel, you have that great breakfast, full of cake, pie, dulce de leche to spread on cheese, you can even make an exception!
After all, it's balance that's important! Balance is everything, right guys! Now, on a daily basis, my tip is to avoid buying these foods so as not to be tempted to eat them every day for breakfast!
In my case it's ok, I'm not a fan of sweets, I haven't eaten anything sweet since I was a kid. If it was at home, there would never be sweets at home, I got used to not eating sweets, even when I go on a trip I avoid them as much as possible. Let's go!
Fifth food: processed meats. You see, for example, in the United States, it is very common for people to eat bacon, sausage, sausage for breakfast. In Brazil, we see more people eating ham, mortadella, and in everyday life it's not good for you to consume that!
These foods are rich in additives, sodium, saturated fats. If you want to eat protein, then go for something healthier, like boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, tuna. Like I said, leave those treats to the exceptions, when you are out and about, travelling.
And, of course, if you have any comorbidity such as diabetes, high cholesterol, avoid this type of food as much as possible. I always say the key to healthy eating is moderation and variety. So peel more and unpack less!
And what to eat, then, for breakfast? You have a notion of what healthy foods are, remember that the more natural the food is, the healthier it is! You can make a banana and oatmeal pancake, which I even taught in a video of mine.

You can make boiled eggs, with a fruit, a good black coffee; a little coffee that I, for example, love too! I'm sure you'll start your day with much more energy and much more disposition! Your neurotransmitters will work better and your mood will be much more stable!
But, remember that each person is unique, right! So, sometimes, if you have diabetes, someone else is hypertensive, food is individual for each person! So, if you can, at best, go to a good nutritionist to guide you, that will be ideal!
