if you could sit across from Jesus right now and ask him just one thing what would it be would you ask for healing a miracle clarity about your future the disciples who walked with Jesus saw his miracles and heard his teachings firsthand could have asked him anything and yet out of everything they witnessed they asked for one thing Lord teach us to pray think about that they saw Jesus walk on water command storms to be still multiply food out of nothing and raise the dead but they didn't ask Lord teach us how to perform Miracles
they didn't say Lord teach us how to preach like you they understood that the power behind everything Jesus did was found in his prayer life they realized that if they could learn to pray like Jesus they could live like Jesus now let's be honest how many of us pray every day but don't feel like we're truly connecting with God how many times have you prayed and felt like you were just talking to the ceiling or maybe you struggle with consistency you pray for a few days but then life gets busy and before you know it
prayer becomes an afterthought you're not alone so many Believers know that prayer is important but few have ever been taught how how to pray the way Jesus did and that's exactly why we made this video in this video we're not just going to talk about what Jesus prayed we're going to dive deep into where he prayed when he prayed how he prayed and most importantly why he prayed because if Jesus the son of God fully Divine needed to pray how much more do we this isn't just about learning facts this is about transformation if you've
ever wondered why your prayers feel empty or ineffective if you've ever struggled to stay consistent or if you've ever wanted a deeper connection with God this is for you today we learn from the master himself before we begin don't forget to like this video it helps spread God's message to more people if you're new here welcome we've created in-depth explanation videos on every book of the Bible to help you go deeper in your faith and grow in your walk with God our goal is simple to make the word of God come alive for you and
we've taken some of our most powerful teachings and turned them into ebooks so you can study at your own pace check the description below to grab yours and now a question for you what is your biggest struggle when it comes to prayer is it consistency feeling distant from God not knowing what to say drop it in the comment we read every single one and we'd love to pray for you with that being said let's get started if there's one thing that stands out from jesus' life it's that he never lived disconnected from the father his
miracles his wisdom his ability to love and forgive it all flowed from his time in prayer prayer wasn't just something he did it was who he was but here's the problem many people people believe in prayer but they don't actually pray they know it's important but it's not urgent they push it aside thinking I'll get to it later but later never comes and then life hits stress anxiety decisions Temptations spiritual battles and suddenly they're desperate for God's help but they don't know how to connect with him this is why Jesus prayed constantly he wasn't waiting
for a crisis he was always plugged in prayer was his source of power before the battle ever came think about it have you ever gone through a day so busy so overwhelming so exhausting and by the end of it you realized I never prayed today maybe you started your morning scrolling through your phone instead of seeking God maybe you got caught up in work distractions or just trying to survive the day and by the time you remembered to pray you were too tired sound familiar but Jesus never let that happen he didn't wait until he
was drained he stayed filled before he poured into others he let the father pour into him Luke 612 tells us one day soon afterward Jesus went up on a mountain to pray and he prayed to God all night all night can you imagine most of us struggled with 5 minutes but Jesus the son of God spent entire nights in prayer not because he had to but because he couldn't afford not to and this wasn't just a one-time thing it was his lifestyle before choosing his disciples prayer before facing the cross prayer before Healing The Sick
prayer before preaching to the crowd's prayer do you see the pattern Jesus never moved without prayer now let's talk about us how often do we move without praying how often do we make decisions send texts post things have conversations without ever seeking God first how often do we say God why do I feel so distant but we've spent the whole day ignoring him if we're honest most of us are spiritually Running on Empty we're trying to handle life without the fuel of prayer and just like a car running out of gas we we break down
we get overwhelmed we lose direction we feel weak but Jesus never ran out of fuel why because he stayed connected this is where everything changes prayer isn't about checking a box it's about staying connected to your Source imagine your phone it's your Lifeline to everything calls messages Maps work even entertainment but what happens when your battery dies it doesn't matter how it Advanced your phone is if it's dead it's useless that's what happens when we live without prayer we are designed to be connected to God and when we unplug we lose power we lose Clarity
we lose peace but Jesus never lost connection that's why he could heal the sick cast out demons face the cross and still say father into your hands I commit my spirit Luke 23 46 he never doubted never panicked never lost Focus because he was always in prayer so here's the question are you connected or are you running on empty if Jesus the son of God needed constant prayer how much more do we if he made time to withdraw and pray what excuse do we have let this be your wakeup call make prayer non-negotiable not just
when you need something not just when you feel like it every day before anything else because the same power the same peace the same connection that Jesus had is available to you but you have to plug in if there's one thing we've learned from Jesus so far it's this prayer wasn't just something he did it was who he was he didn't just pray when it was convenient he didn't just pray when things got tough he lived in prayer and if Jesus the son of God needed that deep constant connection with the father how much more
do we but here's the question what did Jesus actually pray for because it's one thing to know that he prayed often it's another thing to look at how he prayed what did he talk to God about what was on his heart and more importantly what does that teach us about how we should pray one of the most powerful things about jesus' prayers is that they weren't just about him they were about us think about that for a second Jesus the King of Kings the one who had the power to command Angels the one who held
the entire universe in his hands he prayed for you in John 17 we see one of the most intimate prayers Jesus ever prayed it was right before he was arrested right before he went to the cross and what was he doing praying for his disciples praying for future Believers pray praying for you my prayer is not for them alone I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message John 17:20 Jesus wasn't just praying for the people in front of him he was praying for everyone who would come to Faith including you
and me and what did he pray for Unity protection strength that we would be one with God just as he was one with the father let that sink in in his final moments before facing the most excruciating suffering before carrying the weight of the world's sin before being betrayed beaten and crucified Jesus wasn't focused on himself he was focused on you and that's what makes his prayers so powerful because they weren't selfish they were selfless and if we're honest that's where most of us struggle when we pray how much of our focus is on us
our needs our struggles our desires there's nothing wrong with bringing our requests to God Jesus did that too but look at the pattern of his prayers he prayed for others even when he was in pain he prayed for God's will even when it was hard he prayed for strength not just for himself but for those who followed him and that brings us to one of the most intense moments of Prayer in all of scripture Gethsemane this was the night before the cross the night when Jesus felt the full weight of what was coming the night
when he fell to the ground sweating blood crying out to the father father if you are willing take this cup from me yet not my will but yours be done Luke 22:42 can we just pause right there because this is a moment we can't rush past Jesus the one who healed the sick raised the Dead calmed the storm walked on water he was in agony the weight of the cross the pain of what was coming it was overwhelming and yet he still surrendered not my will but yours be done that's the kind of prayer that
changes everything and if we're being real that's the kind of prayer that's the hardest to pray because surrender is hard trusting God when things don't make sense is hard saying Lord I don't like this I don't want this but I trust you anyway that's hard but that's exactly what Jesus showed us prayer isn't just about getting what we want it's about aligning ourselves with God's will even when it's painful and here's the powerful part after Jesus prayed after he surrendered he stood up and walked straight into his purpose he didn't run he didn't fight he
embraced what was coming why why because prayer gave him strength and if it did that for Jesus it can do that for you too so let's bring this home how should this change the way you pray shift the focus Jesus prayed for others who are you praying for surrender the outcome Jesus didn't demand his way he trusted God's way are you willing to do the same find strength in prayer Jesus left Gethsemane stronger than he entered it are you allowing prayer to strengthen you or are you only using it as a last resort the way
Jesus prayed wasn't just powerful it was transformational it didn't just change circumstances it changed him and if we truly follow his example it will change us too if there's one thing we've learned from jesus' prayer life so far it's that prayer wasn't just a habit it was the foundation of everything he did it wasn't an afterthought it wasn't something he squeezed in when he had time it was his first move his highest priority his direct connection to the father and nowhere is that clearer than when Jesus was faced with a major decision how do most
people make decisions we analyze we weigh the pros and cons we Google we stress we ask friends for advice and then when all else fails we throw up a last minute prayer and hope for the best but Jesus he did the exact opposite before making one of the biggest decisions of his ministry choosing the 12 disciples Jesus didn't brainstorm he didn't strategize he didn't form a hiring committee he prayed all night one of those days Jesus went out to a Mountainside to pray and spent the night praying to God when morning came he called his
disciples to him and chose 12 of them whom he also designated Apostles Luke 612 to13 can we just pause for a second because this is huge Jesus the son of God the word made flesh the one who already knew people's hearts still took an entire night to pray before making a decision why because even though he was fully God he was also fully man and he showed us by example how a real man of God makes decisions not by rushing not by guessing but by seeking the father's will first now let's be real most of
us don't spend an entire night praying before making a decision some of us barely spend 5 minutes and yet we wonder why we keep making the wrong choices think about it how many times have you made a decision without praying first and then regretted it later that job you took because it felt right but ended up dra training you that relationship you jumped into without asking God first and now you're stuck in confusion that investment that move that commitment all the things you thought would be great but later realized you never actually prayed about that's
the mistake so many people make today we move first we pray later but Jesus shows us that prayer isn't just about getting God's blessing on our plans it's about aligning our heart with his plan because let's be honest what if Jesus had picked disciples based on what made sense logically if he had gone by the world's standards he would have picked the most educated the most powerful the most religious he would have chosen the Pharisees the high priests the scholars instead after spending a whole night in prayer he chose fisherman a tax collector a zealot
a group of nobodies why because God's way is higher than ours his wisdom is deeper than ours and what seems foolish to the world is often exactly what he wants to use for my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways declares the Lord Isaiah 55 colon 8 that's why Jesus prayed to make sure he wasn't making decisions based on human reasoning but on divine revelation and if Jesus the son of God refus to make big decisions without first seeking the father how much more do we need to do the same but
here's where it gets real how often do we treat prayer as a backup plan instead of our first move we date first we ask God later we sign the contract first we pray after we move to a new city first we hope it works out and then when things go wrong we cry out God why didn't you stop me but the truth is he never told us to go in the first place we just never asked that's why Jesus example is so powerful he didn't just pray when he was in trouble he prayed before he
made a move and that's what we need to start doing so let me ask you what's the big decision in your life right now maybe it's a relationship a career move a major transition have you prayed about it really prayed not just a quick God let this work out but a real deep God show me your will even if it's not what I want because here's the truth if you don't have time to pray about it you don't have time to do it Jesus spent an entire night in prayer before choosing the disciples an entire
night and we struggle to pray for 5 minutes before making life-altering choices maybe that's why we keep making decisions that lead to regret but here's the good news you don't have to keep doing it that way from this moment forward let prayer be your first response not your last resort because when you do you'll stop chasing things that aren't from God you'll stop walking into situations that drain you you'll stop wasting time on things that were never part of his plan and instead you'll start moving with Divine Clarity with purpose with peace because you won't
just be following your own desires you'll be following his voice if there's one thing we can learn from Jesus prayer life it's this prayer is not about empty words it's about relationship Jesus didn't pray out of obligation he didn't pray because it was part of a religious checklist he prayed because he needed to because he longed for that connection with the father and because he knew prayer is where battles are won but here's something we often miss Jesus didn't just pray for himself he prayed for others constantly think about this if anyone could have been
self-sufficient it was Jesus he was fully God walking in Divine Authority Healing The Sick casting out demons raising the dead yet over and over again he interceded he stood in the gap for those who couldn't stand for themselves he prayed for his disciples he prayed for the lost and this is where it gets really perect personal he prayed for you let that sink in before you ever prayed for yourself Jesus had already prayed for you look at this moment in John 17 the longest recorded prayer of Jesus in the Bible it's the night before his
crucifixion his final hours before suffering and what is he doing praying for you my prayer is not for them alone I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message John 17:20 that means before you were even born Jesus was thinking about you before you ever whispered your first prayer Jesus was lifting you up before the father before you ever needed Grace Jesus was asking God to cover you in it he wasn't just praying for his disciples he was praying for every believer that would come after them that includes you that includes
me but what exact was Jesus praying for that you would be strengthened that you would be protected that you would be United with other believers and that you would know the depths of God's love father I want those you have given me to be with me where I am and to see my glory John 17:24 Jesus greatest desire that you would be with him that nothing would separate you from him but here's the part that changes everything if Jesus Jus prayed for us what does that mean for how we should pray it means we are
called to pray for others with the same intensity that Jesus prayed for us too often our prayers are self-focused God help me God bless me God open doors for me and yes there is absolutely a place for personal prayers but if Jesus our ultimate example spent so much time interceding for others shouldn't we let me ask you when was the last time you prayed for someone with the same passion you pray for yourself because here's the truth some people in your life will never pray for themselves some people don't know how some are too broken
to even try and that's where you come in just like Jesus stood in the gap for us we are called to stand in the gap for others that friend who is struggling pray for them that family member who has drifted from God pray for them that coworker who seems lost and broken pray for them that leader who is carrying a heavy burden pray for them prayer isn't just about you it's about lifting up the people around you this is why James 5:116 tells us pray for each other so that you may be healed the prayer
of a righteous person is powerful and effective there is power when we intercede when we bring the needs of others before God and let me tell you something your prayers are making a bigger impact than you realize that prayer you prayed for a struggling friend it strengthened them more than you know that prayer you whispered for someone's salvation it might be the reason their heart begins to soften toward God that prayer you lifted up for your church it could be the reason chains start breaking in people's lives we don't always see the results of our
prayers immediately but that doesn't mean they aren't moving Heaven and Earth Jesus didn't just pray for himself he stood in the gap for others and now he invites us to do the same so let's do something right now take a moment think of one person in your life who needs prayer someone who is struggling someone who needs a breakthrough now don't just think about them pray for them lift them up call on God to move in their life because the same way Jesus prayed for you you are now called to pray for others and if
you're thinking but I don't always know what to pray don't worry Romans 8:26 gives us an incredible promise the spirit helps us in our weakness we do not know what we ought to pray for but the spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans even when you don't have the words God does even when you don't know exactly what someone needs the the Holy Spirit knows your prayers matter more than you realize because prayer is not just communication it's warair it's standing in the gap for someone who doesn't even realize they need it and let
me tell you someone somewhere is alive today because somebody prayed for them maybe it was a Praying grandmother crying out for their Wayward grandson maybe it was a mother on her knees interceding for her child maybe it was a friend who refused to stop praying even when everything looked hopeless Jesus prayed for you before you even knew you needed it now it's your turn who you willing to pray for today because the most Christlike thing you can do more than preaching more than singing more than anything else is simply this pray like Jesus if there's
one thing we can learn from jesus' prayer life it's this prayer is not just about us it's about standing in the gap for others Jesus didn't just pray for himself he prayed for his disciples he prayed for the Lost he even prayed for his enemies and here's something that might shock you he prayed for you too before you ever whispered a single prayer before you even knew you needed Grace Jesus was already lifting you up before the father think about that in Luke 22 31-32 Jesus turns to Peter the boldest most outspoken disciple and says
something unexpected Simon Simon Satan has asked to sift you as wheat but I have prayed for you Simon that your faith may not fail did you catch that Jesus knew Peter was about to fall he knew Peter would deny him he knew Peter's Faith would be shaken but instead of condemning him Jesus prayed for him let that sink in Jesus knew Peter was about to fail but he prayed for his restoration before the failure even happened and the reason Peter didn't stay in his failure the reason he was able to come back stronger was because
Jesus had already interceded for him now think about this what if someone's breakthrough is on the other side of your prayer what if your prayers could be the reason a lost friend finds their way back to God what if your intercession is the covering that strengthens a struggling believer what if your prayer is the one thing standing between someone and a life-altering decision That's The Power of intercession and Jesus didn't just do this for Peter one of the most profound moments in scripture is found in John 17 where Jesus prays the longest recorded Prayer in
the Bible and do you know what he was praying for you my prayer is not for them alone I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message John 1720 Jesus in his final hours before the cross was thinking about you before you were born before you ever thought to pray for yourself Jesus was already praying for you and what was he praying for that you would be strengthened that you would be protected that you would be United with other believers that you would know the depths of God's love this isn't just
a feel-good idea this is the Heart of Jesus he was always interceding always standing in the Gap always lifting others before the father even when he was on the cross in excruciating pain humiliated mocked and betrayed he was still praying for others father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing Luke 23:34 imagine that Jesus hanging on a cross with Nails in his hands and feet struggling to breathe and his concern is still for the people who put him there let me ask you when was the last time you prayed for someone
who hurt you because here's the truth some people in your life will never pray for themselves some people don't know how some are too broken to even try and that's where you come in and just like Jesus stood in the gap for us we are called to stand in the gap for other others that friend who is struggling pray for them that family member who has drifted from God pray for them that co-worker who seems lost and broken pray for them that leader who is carrying a heavy burden pray for them prayer isn't just about
you it's about lifting up the people around you and let me tell you something your prayers are making a bigger impact than you realize that prayer you prayed for a struggling friend it's strengthen them more than you know that prayer you whispered for someone's salvation it might be the reason their heart begins to soften toward God that prayer you lifted up for your church it could be the reason chains start breaking in people's lives we don't always see the results of our prayers immediately but that doesn't mean they aren't moving Heaven and Earth Jesus didn't
just pray for himself he stood in the gap for others and now he invites us to do the same so let's do something right now take a moment think of one person in your life who needs prayer someone who is struggling someone who needs a breakthrough now don't just think about them pray for them lift them up call on God to move in their life because the same way Jesus prayed for you you are now called to pray for others and if you're thinking but I don't always know what to pray don't worry Romans 8:26
gives us an incredible promise the spirit helps us in our weakness we do not know what we ought to pray for but the spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans even when you don't have the words God does even when you don't know exactly what someone needs the Holy Spirit knows your prayers matter more than you realize because prayer is not just communication it's Warfare It's standing in the gap for someone who doesn't even realize they need it and let me tell you someone somewhere is alive today because somebody prayed for them maybe it
was a Praying grandmother crying out for their Wayward grandson maybe it was a mother on her knees interceding for her child maybe it was a friend who refused to stop praying even when everything looked hopeless Jesus prayed for you before you even knew you needed it now it's your turn who are you willing to pray for today because the most Christlike thing you can do more than preaching more than singing more than anything else is simply this pray like Jesus when life is good prayer feels natural when things are falling apart prayer feels impossible yet
the most important moments in jesus' life his greatest battles his deepest pains his Darkest Hours were all all marked by prayer if there's one thing we learn from Jesus it's that prayer isn't just for the easy days it's for the storms the suffering and the Moments When Everything feels like it's crumbling hanging on the cross in unbearable Agony Jesus uttered some of his final words father into your hands I commit my spirit Luke 23:46 think about that Jesus beaten humiliated abandoned still prayed and not just any prayer a prayer of trust a prayer of surrender
a prayer that said even now in this pain in this moment where I see no relief I put everything in your hands what do you do when life breaks you when the diagnosis is worse than you expected when the relation ship falls apart when your plans collapse and you're left standing in the wreckage do you pray or do you pull away from God because here's the truth your crisis will either push you into God's arms or away from them and Jesus showed us which choice to make in Gethsemane the night before his crucifixion he prayed
so intensely that he sweat drops of blood he was in anguish knowing what was coming he didn't ignore the pain he didn't pretend to be strong he fell to his knees and prayed father if you are willing take this cup from me yet not my will but yours be done Luke 22:42 Jesus didn't just pray through the crisis he prayed before the crisis let that sink in most of us wait until the storm hits before we start praying but Jesus prayed before the storm came before the arrest before the betrayal before the nails he was
already on his knees how many of us only pray when we're desperate when the pain is unbearable when the anxiety is overwhelming when we have no other options but what if we prayed before the storm came Jesus knew what was coming and he still chose to pray because prayer doesn't just get you through the crisis It prepares you for it think about this when the storm hits do you want be scrambling to build a foundation or do you want to already be standing on one Jesus prayed before the storm in the storm through the storm
and his final words on the cross tell us everything we need to know about how to handle suffering father into your hands I commit my spirit when life is breaking you when the weight is too much when you feel like you can't go another step what if your first response was to put it in the father's hands not in the hands of your own understanding not in the hands of your emotions not in the hands of the world's opinions but in the hands of the only one who can carry it Jesus didn't just teach us
how to pray when things are good he showed us how to pray when things are unbearable and here's the thing Jesus suffering had a purpose at the moment the cross looked like defeat it looked like loss it looked like the end but three days later everything changed your suffering is not the end of your story that storm that loss that battle it's not final and the same way Jesus suffering led to Resurrection God is working through your pain in ways you cannot see yet but here's the key you have to pray through it so let
me ask you are you going through a storm right now are you carrying something too heavy for you are you struggling to pray because the pain is so deep You Are Not Alone Jesus has been where you are and his example shows us exactly what to do pray anyway even if you don't have the words even if all you can do is whisper God help me even if your prayer is just tears running down your face pray anyway because here's the truth there is no storm too big for God to handle and maybe today your
prayer needs to be the same one Jesus prayed in his darkest moment father into your hands I Comm commit this situation into your hands I commit this pain into your hands I commit my future because if the hands of the father were strong enough to bring Jesus Through death itself then they are strong enough to carry you through this storm so don't let the crisis silence your prayers let it drive you deeper into them if the last lesson showed us anything it's that prayer isn't just about getting through life's hardest moments it's about PR preparing
for them before they even come Jesus showed us this by his example but he didn't stop there he went a step further he actually taught us how to pray think about it Jesus's disciples could have asked him anything teach us how to perform Miracles teach us how to preach like you teach us how to cast out demons but they didn't instead they asked one thing Lord teach us to pray Luke 11:1 why because they saw something in Jesus prayer life that was different something powerful something they knew they needed and Jesus answered with what we
now call The Lord's Prayer a prayer so well known that even people who don't believe in God can recite it but here's the problem most people pray this prayer without ever realizing its power it wasn't meant to be a script to repeat without thinking it was meant to be a blueprint a Divine structure that unlocks the power of true prayer and when we break it down we realize Jesus gave us a stepbystep guide to praying in a way that actually connects us with God our Father in heaven Hallowed Be Your Name Jesus starts with worship
acknowledging who God is notice he doesn't start with requests he doesn't start with problems he starts with relation ship Our Father not just a distant deity not just an Untouchable Force father when you pray do you approach God like that do you come to him like a son coming to his loving father or like a servant trying to please a harsh master and then Hallowed Be Your Name Jesus is reminding us that prayer isn't about us it's about him it's about shifting our Focus from our worries our desires our needs to the greatness of of
God your kingdom come your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven this is surrender before we ever ask for anything Jesus tells us to align ourselves with God's will how many of us pray backwards starting with our list of things we want before even asking God what he wants but real prayer isn't about convincing God to do what we want it's about aligning ourselves with what he is already doing give us this this day our daily bread now finally we see the first request but notice what Jesus says Daily Bread not weekly
not monthly not God give me enough to be comfortable for the next 10 years daily because prayer isn't just about getting things from God it's about depending on him every single day too many people only pray when there's a crisis but Jesus is saying pray for your needs every day because when you stop praying daily you stop depending daily forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors now it gets real Jesus tells us to ask for forgiveness but only if we are willing to forgive others how many of us hold on to grudges bitterness
and resentment while asking God for Mercy Jesus is clear prayer is blocked by unforgiveness if you're wondering why your prayers feel empty ask yourself who do I still need to forgive lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil Jesus acknowledges the battle that we are constantly at war with temptation sin and the enemy prayer isn't just about asking it's about protecting when was The Last Time You Prayed against Temptation before it even came or do you only pray after you've already fallen into it Jesus tells us pray before the battle for yours is
the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and he ends the same way he started with worship because prayer is not just about problems it's about perspective when we focus on God's kingdom his power and His glory our fears shrink our doubts fade our problems lose their grip when we remember God is in control The Lord's Prayer isn't just a prayer it's a strategy a battle plan a way to connect with God in the deepest way possible so the question is are you just reciting the words or are you actually praying it because Jesus
didn't just teach this prayer he lived it and if we want to pray with power it's time we do the same if the last thing Jesus taught us about prayer was a battle plan then what he prayed in John 17 was the battle itself it was the moment where Jesus knowing he was about to go to the Cross prayed not for himself but for us and what did he pray for not for us to be rich not for us to be successful not even for us to be safe Jesus prayed for Unity I pray also
for those who will believe in me through their message that all of them may be one father just as you are in me and and I am in you John 17:20 to 21 of all the things he could have asked the father he asked for Oneness why because Jesus knew that one of the greatest weapons the enemy would use against his people was Division and isn't that exactly what we see today churches split over minor disagreements families broken apart by Pride unforgiveness and politics Believers arguing with each other instead of praying together the devil doesn't
need to destroy the church if he can divide it Jesus knew that that's why his final recorded prayer before the cross wasn't just about personal salvation it was about corporate Unity but here's the question why does unity even matter why would Jesus prioritize Oneness over everything else because when Believers are divided the world cannot see Christ in us then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me John 17:23 that's a powerful statement Jesus is saying the way the world Sees God is through how we love
each other which means every time Christians fight every time Believers turn on each other every time we let Pride offense or ego create division we are blocking the world from seeing Jesus that's why Unity is not just a nice idea it's spiritual warfare and the enemy hates it look at what happened in the early church when they were United walking in one Accord filled with the Holy Spirit Miracles broke out thousands came to Christ the church exploded in power but as soon as division crept in false teachers arose arguments broke out churches began to split
Satan knows that a divided church is a weak church and let's be real we have fallen right into that trap think about the petty arguments that have torn Believers apart you're not saved if you don't worship like me your theology is wrong because you don't agree with my opinion I can't love you because we vote differently this is not the church Jesus prayed for this is not the unity he fought for and yet we justify it we act like it's righteous to tear each other down over preferences but Unity does not mean uniformity it doesn't
mean we all have to agree on every issue it means that despite our differences we refuse to let anything separate us from the love of Christ and from each other because the moment we stop seeing each other as family we have already lost the battle this is why Jesus prayer still Echoes today because Unity is not just an option it's a command Jesus prayed for it now are we willing to fight for it then let me be clear Unity isn't passive it's not just about avoiding conflict it's about actively pursuing peace it means forgiving even
when you're right it means loving even when you don't agree it means praying for people you struggle with instead of gossiping about them and when we do that we don't just experience personal breakthrough we see spiritual Revival because when the church finally unites when Believers finally stop fighting each other and start praying together when we let go of our pride our grudges our selfishness something miraculous happens the world sees Jesus and that is what he prayed for so now the real question is will we answer that prayer with our lives if there's one thing Jesus
showed us time and time again it's that Miracles don't just happen they are birthed in prayer before every Supernatural move Every Act of healing every display of divine power Jesus prayed and yet in today's world many Believers want to see God's power but they neglect the very thing that unlocks it look at the pattern in Jesus life before he multiplied the Five Loaves and two fish he lifted them up to heaven and prayed Matthew 14:19 before raising Lazarus from the dead he thanked the father out loud so that people would believe John 11:41 to 42
before healing people before casting out demons before calming the storm Jesus prayed it was never just a performance it was partnership with the father and here's where most people miss it prayer wasn't just an afterthought for Jesus it wasn't just words it was the very source of his authority and that's the part we need to understand we live in a generation that wants Miracles but avoids prayer we want breakthrough but we won't wake up early to seek God we want Revival but we won't take time to fast and intercede we want power but we won't
even prioritize five minutes of prayer a day and that's why we don't see what Jesus saw the early church understood this before Pentecost what did they do they prayed acts 1:4 Before Peter and John healed the lame man at the temple they were going to pray acts 3:1 before Paul and Silas were set free from prison they prayed and worshiped act 16:25 the pattern is right in front of us but we've ignored it Jesus wasn't just performing Miracles he was showing us how to live in the Supernatural the key was never just Talent Charisma or
good preaching the key was prayer and here's where it gets even more real the reason why so many Believers today struggle to see God move in their lives isn't because God has changed it's because we have we have filled our lives with distractions we spend more time on our phones than In God's Presence we prioritize entertainment over intercession and then we wonder why our faith feels weak we wonder why we don't see the Miracles we read about we wonder why we struggle with fear doubt anxiety and spiritual dryness the answer isn't a mystery the answer
is prayer and I don't mean quick shallow half-hearted prayers before a meal I mean real prayer the kind that shakes heaven and destroys strongholds the kind that moves mountains and changes lives the kind that keeps on your knees until God moves because that's what Jesus did he didn't just pray when it was convenient he prayed before everything before choosing his disciples all night in prayer Luke 6:12 before facing the cross sweating drops of blood in Gethsemane Luke 22:44 before stepping into his ministry 40 days fasting in the wilderness Matthew 42 if the Son of God
needed to pray how much more do we so let's ask the real question are you living like Jesus lived or are you trying to see Miracles without living a life of prayer are you relying on your own strength or are you connected to the power source because here's the truth Miracles don't come from wishful thinking breakthrough doesn't happen by accident Revival is not a random event it comes when Believers return to prayer when we stop making excuses and start making time for God when we stop treating prayer like a last resort and start making it
our first priority because if Jesus himself God In the Flesh had to pray before every Miracle how can we expect to walk in power without doing the same it's time to stop just talking about prayer and actually start praying because the greatest Miracles they're waiting on the other side of a prayer life like Jesus if there's one thing we cannot afford to overlook it's this Jesus didn't just pray for the sake of prayer his entire life revolved around it every major decision every Miracle every moment of struggle prayer was his foundation and now we have
to ask ourselves are we praying the way Jesus prayed because for many of us If we're honest prayer is a side thought not a priority ity it's something we do when we're desperate when things go wrong or when we need something from God but is that the kind of prayer life Jesus modeled look at the way he lived prayer wasn't just a habit it was his source of power before he chose his disciples he prayed all night Luke 6:12 before he perform Miracles he prayed John 11:41 before facing the cross he prayed with such intensity
that he sweat drops of blood Luke [Music] 22:44 but what about us if we were to compare our prayer life to his would we even recognize the same intensity most of us pray only when it's convenient Jesus prayed when it cost him everything most of us pray when we feel like it Jesus prayed when his soul was in anguish most of us pray as a last resort Jes Jesus prayed as a first response and that's why he walked in power and we don't we talk about wanting to experience God's presence his miracles his breakthroughs but
we refuse to make time for the very thing that brings them let's be real how much time did you spend on social media today how much time did you spend watching videos scrolling texting working worrying and now compare that to how much time you actually spent seeking God In Prayer If we're honest for many of us prayer is an afterthought and then we wonder why we don't hear God's voice we wonder why we feel distant from him we wonder why we struggle with sin anxiety fear and doubt but look at Jesus he was constantly connected
to the father that's why he wasn't afraid of storms that's why he walked in Divine Authority that's why he knew exactly what to say and do because he was always in communication with God if Jesus needed that kind of prayer life how much more do we so what needs to change first we need to stop treating prayer like a chore and start treating it like our Lifeline imagine you're in the middle of the ocean struggling to stay above water someone throws you a rope are you going to grab it only when you feel like it
or are you going to hold on to it with everything you have that's what prayer is it's not optional it's survival second we need to set aside real time for God not rush prayers in between meetings not half-hearted words before bed not God help me as we scroll through our phones real prayer prayer that costs us something prayer that requires intentional time prayer that forces us to disconnect from distractions and seek God's face Jesus woke up early to pray Mark 1:35 he withdrew from crowds to pray Luke 5:116 he spent whole nights in prayer Luke
612 if he made it that important why do we treat it like it's optional the truth is our spiritual life will never be stronger than our prayer life if we pray weak prayers we will have weak faith if we pray occasionally we will experience God occasionally if we neglect prayer we will feel distant from him but if we learn to pray the way Jesus prayed Everything Changes we will begin to see breakthroughs we've never seen before we will hear God's voice more clearly than ever we will walk in authority power and confidence because we are
fully connected to the source so here's the challenge what's one change you're going to make in your prayer life today are you going to start waking up earlier to seek God are you going to start praying before making decisions are you going to start praying for others more intentionally because at the end of the day we either follow jesus' example or we don't and if Jesus God In the Flesh needed prayer to fulfill his mission then so do we no more excuses no more distractions no more treating prayer like a last resort it's time to
pray like Jesus did and when we do our lives will never be the same same if there's one question that should shake us awake it's this are we praying out of routine or out of relationship because if prayer is nothing more than a checklist a quick God help me before bed or something we only do when life gets hard then we are missing Everything Jesus was trying to teach us prayer was never meant to be a religious Duty it was meant to be a relationship with the Living God and yet look look at how many
of us treat it we pray when we need something we pray when we're in trouble we pray when we feel spiritual but Jesus prayed because he needed the father every second of every day do we or do we think we can handle life on our own because that's the difference that's why Jesus was never shaken never lost never disconnected from his purpose he didn't just pray when he felt like it he lived in prayer that's what we've missed we want to experience God's power his presence his miracles but we refuse to prioritize the one thing
that brings them think about this Jesus the son of God the one who had all authority all wisdom all power felt the need to pray constantly he prayed before making decisions he prayed before performing Miracles he prayed when he was joyful when he was hurting when he was exhausted so if Jesus needed that kind of Prayer life why don't we maybe that's why so many Believers today feel spiritually empty they're chasing after blessings instead of chasing after the one who gives them they're asking for God's help but never spending time in his presence they're running
on spiritual fumes because they've been neglecting the very Source of Life prayer is not optional it is not a last resort prayer is survival without prayer we are powerless without without prayer we are directionless without prayer we are weak distracted and vulnerable to every attack of the enemy and yet so many of us try to live the Christian Life without a real prayer life so let's make this personal how's your prayer life not just the prayers you say before eating not just the times you ask God to fix something are you truly seeking God every
single day because here's the truth your relationship with God is only as strong as your prayer life if you want to know his voice you need to spend time with him if you want to walk in his power you need to spend time with him if you want to see breakthroughs grow spiritually and live the life he's called you to you need to spend time with him there are no shortcuts and there is no substitute and we need to stop waiting for the right moment to start Jesus didn't wait until he had free time to
pray he didn't wait until he wasn't tired he didn't wait until he had no distractions he made prayer his priority so here's the challenge what's one change you're making in your prayer life today are you going to start praying before decisions instead of after them are you going to wake up earlier to seek God are you going to stop rushing through prayer and start actually listening to God because if we don't make changes nothing will change this isn't about adding another religious rule this is about drawing closer to the father and if Jesus the one
who walked in absolute power wisdom and Authority needed prayer every single day then we do too so no more excuses no more waiting no more letting distractions steal the most important part of our day it's time to pray like Jesus because when we do our lives will never be the same if there's one thing we all need to ask God it's this Lord teach us to pray because prayer is not just something we do it's the foundation of everything we are we've spent this entire video walking through how Jesus prayed why he prayed and what
it means for us but now it's time for more than just knowledge it's time to pray like never before maybe you've been struggling with prayer maybe you feel like your prayers aren't being heard maybe you don't even know where to St start but here's the good news you don't have to figure this out alone the Holy Spirit helps us pray Jesus is interceding for us right now and the father is waiting for you to come closer so right now let's pray together let's ask God to transform our prayer lives let's surrender the distractions the excuses
the doubts and step into a deeper connection with him wherever you are bow your head open your heart and let's pray father we come before you with Open Hearts we don't want to pray out of routine out of habit or out of obligation we want to know you to seek you to experience your presence like never before teach us to pray Lord teach us to pray like Jesus did with faith with intimacy with surrender teach us to seek you in the quiet places in the secret moments in the Stillness of the morning teach us to
pray before we make decisions before we take action before we try to handle things on our own God forgive us for every time we've treated prayer like a last resort instead of our first priority forgive us for every time we've rushed through it distracted unfocused giving you only The Leftovers of our time and attention Lord we ask for a fresh hunger for prayer a hunger that draws us into your presence daily a hunger that makes us wake up seeking you first a hunger that that refuses to live without hearing your voice and Lord help us
not just pray for ourselves but to pray for others for our families for our friends for those who are lost broken hurting and far from you make us intercessors make us Warriors in prayer make us people who stand in the Gap and fight for others in the spiritual realm and father we ask for one more thing we ask for power in our prayers not empty words but prayers that shake the heavens prayers that move mountains prayers that bring healing restoration breakthrough and transformation your word says in James 5:116 that the prayer of a righteous person
is powerful and effective Lord make our prayers powerful and effective make our prayers aligned with your will make our prayers Unstoppable we thank you in advance for what you're about to do for the breakthroughs coming for the Miracles waiting for the Revival that starts in our hearts we seal this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ amen if this prayer spoke to you don't keep it to yourself share this video with someone who needs to grow in their prayer life and if you want to go even deeper check out the ebooks in the description
