It's been a while since Naruto finished his story, but it continues with the Boruto anime and manga. Now, even so, there were some loose ends, some details that remain unexplained to this day, involving people like Madara, Hashirama, Itachi and even Rock Lee! Do you want to know what these mysteries are that Masashi Kishimoto left us?
You're going to do it, let's go! Hey Nerd, what's up? Peter here!
Of course, you know how important a nd famous Naruto is among anime, especially among those in the shonen style. He is one of the greats, on the same level as Drgon Ball, One Piece and others and the main story of Naruto ended there in 2017, it's been a long time. Now we are following the story of Naruto's son, Boruto.
But even though it's already finished and even with Boruto expanding many details, tying up many loose ends, there are still some left over. These are even small things, but which true fans still struggle to understand. I separated some of them for us to take a look at, check it out!
[Death of the First Hokage] Hashirama Senju was the first Hokage in Konoha and to this day is remembered as a legendary ninja of absurd power, difficult to overcome. He was Madara Uchiha's main rival, a ninja with more extreme ideals, and Hashirama was also considered a good and fair leader. It was he, in command of the Senju clan, who founded Konoha by signing a truce with other ninja clans who were always fighting with each other.
He was practically unbeatable in battle and therefore, no one knows exactly how he died, or at least they never spoke. In battle it was hardly possible, from old age perhaps? Some say he died due to a genetic disease, related to his unique ability to manipulate wood.
Really? The truth is that no one knows what the First Hokage died of. [Hashirama's Sage Mode] Another mystery surrounding Hashirama is his Sage Mode.
We know that this is a fighting style that allows the ninja to use nature's chakra, in addition to his own. To learn how to use Sage Mode, a ninja needs to learn the techniques from the frogs of Mount Myoboku or the snakes of Ryuchi Cave. And the characteristics of these animals usually appear when Sage Mode is activated, but that's where Hashirama comes in.
When he appears using Sage Mode, there are no frog or snake characteristics, so nobody knows where his Sage Mode came from. One guess would be the slugs from the Shikkotsu forest, the ones that Tsunade controls. Tsunade is Hashirama's granddaughter, so there may be a connection there, but nothing confirmed.
There are those who believe that the Sage Mode comes from his own chakra and is also related to wood. Nobody knows. [Kabuto heals Hinata] This one is directly related to an important event at the beginning of the story.
During Orochimaru's invasion of Konoha, at the end of the Chūnin Trials, Kabuto acts as a double agent, at that time no one really knew what his objectives were. And the fact is that out of nowhere, for no apparent reason, he heals Hinata's injuries, since he is a medical ninja. No one can really explain to this day why he did this.
Some think it was to maintain his disguise as an Anbu agent, while others say it was just his basic instinct as a medical ninja, which would be very strange, since Kabuto is essentially a villain. Anyway, once again nothing confirmed, just guesses about what happened. [Rock Lee's parents] Naruto is basically a story about an orphan, but Narutinho discovers the truth about his parents throughout the plot.
The relationship between parents and children is important in many characters, in the entire work, in fact, but there is one character that no one talks about, which is Rock Lee. Of course, Might Guy became a kind of father figure for him, but It's not his father. In reality, Kishimoto suggests that Rock Lee isn't from there, from Konoha, it's as if he came from outside, but no one knows about his parents.
And he's not an orphan either, otherwise this would have been mentioned at some point, even in his relationship with Naruto. Did Kishimoto simply forget that Rock Lee has a father and a mother? [Jiraiya and the Six Paths of Pain] One of the saddest moments in the entire story of Naruto is Jiraiya's last fight against the mysterious Pain, then leader of Akatsuki, who also commanded the Rain Village.
In this fight, Jiraiya discovers that Pain is actually Nagato, a former student of his, controlling six other bodies, called the Six Paths of Pain. But all six of these bodies were ninjas that Jiraiya encountered or knew in the past. How could Nagato know all this?
And how did he gain access to these bodies, did the guy go around violating tombs? Could he reach that level? Many people believe that he knew about them all when he was Jiraiya's student, but even so, it's very strange.
[Totsuka's Sword and Yata's Mirror] In the final fight between the brothers Sasuke and Itachi Uchiha, Itachi shows all his true power and why he is considered a prodigy. And part of Itachi's power came from two mega important and powerful artifacts that he possessed at that time: Totsuka's sword and Yata's mirror, two objects that even exist in Japanese folklore. Totsuka's sword is a sword with a liquid blade, which can seal anyone who is cut by it, body and soul, in a jar.
Yata's mirror works as a shield that reflects and repels any attack, regardless of strength. Itachi even used these artifacts with Susanoo, meaning he was almost invincible. The problem is that no one knows where he got the sword and the mirror from, perhaps from Akatsuki, and mainly: where the two artifacts came from and where they went.
After the fight, they aren't mentioned again and that's it. Nobody even remembers these two very powerful objects that were practically the basis of Itachi's power! Go figure.
. . [Madara Uchiha's Mangekyo Sharingan] Madara Uchiha is considered a god among shinobi.
For many people he is the most powerful ninja who ever lived and at times it is difficult to disagree. Like any above-average member of the Uchiha clan, he awakened the so-called Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, after receiving his own brother's eye. It turns out that, whenever an Uchiha awakens this level of Sharingan, he gains a unique and extremely powerful jutsu, which changes from person to person.
But Madara, despite being absurdly badass, doesn't have an eye power of his own. Seriously, stop and think, he didn't have this new jutsu that everyone gets. Many people think that the Limbo jutsu is the power of Madara's Mangekyo, but this technique is more linked to the Ten-Tails jinchuriki, not the eye.
This simply has no explanation and technically speaking, it has to be Naruto's biggest mystery. Do you remember any other mystery that remained? Do you have an explanation for any of these?
Say it in the comments here because I want to see, suddenly you have some explanation and we'll come back. But if you know more mysteries, I think you could make a second video, huh, of the mysteries of the guys, you passing on the mysteries to us. It will be cool too, I agree with you.
