what I want you to see is this the Living Word of God this book is the most precious thing that exists on the face of this Earth because it is the mind of God given in such a fashion and so translated that we can know his mind and live by it these Ten Commandments are God's unchanging moral standard For All Mankind for you and for me if I'm willing through the help of the Holy Spirit the strength of the Holy Spirit the power of the Holy Spirit if I'm willing to live a Godly life he
is living within every single one of us Believers to enable us listen to enable us to live Naturally by the spirit to do the things that are right in each and every one of these areas when we in a moment of weakness or whatever fail what do we do we immediately ask him to forgive us we immediately repent of that and ask God for his forgiveness and Thanksgiving and his strength to move above and beyond that sin and keep moving is there ever going to be a time in your life when you no longer have
any problem with violating any of the Ten Commandments I don't think so and that's why James said in the second chapter when again again he was dealing with this whole issue of people uh trying to live up to the Ten Commandments and trust that they were saved by that this is the reason he made this statement for whoever keeps the whole law and stumbles in one point has become guilty of all of them is there anybody here who can say I've kept them all not a one of us is there anybody here or there who
can boast well from now on I'm going to keep them all I wouldn't boast if I were you you know what listen to this carefully the only reason you and I are going to be acceptable into heaven when we come there is the pure grace of God that he's provided forgiveness in our weakness and our Frailty and he's willing to forgive us for our sinfulness he's so long forgiven then I don't have to I don't have to worry about it still the unchanging listen still the unchanging law of the Living God given to regulate our
conduct every single day of our life this should be a goal for all of us to live by listen not by simply the statement of these commands but by the elaboration and the interpretation which Jesus gave to every single one of them we're not to live under some burden oh I don't want to break this law it's to live in Freedom and Liberty that by the power of the Holy Spirit I choose to live by the laws of God and love my brother and treat them right honor God for who he is and honor others
for who they are when this nation of ours once again because when we began not because anybody legislated it those who founded our nation they just came here with this in their heart when our nation once again is willing to recognize the Ten Commandments as God's unchanging listen unchanging standard regulating the moral conduct of all men what an awesome change will happen in our nation let me tell you how that can happen put the Ten Commandments in every classroom in America watch this now maybe on Friday the last day or every day the teaching the
students read The Ten Commandments don't interpret them people say oh I'm just afraid about interpretation that's simple you know let God do the interpreting just hang them up there and read them together every day you think about what would happen if every day in the classroom a child reads Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not steal day after day after day Thou shalt not bear false witness shall not bear false witness shall
not commit shall not commit sexual immorality shall not commit sexual immorality onto my parents onto my parents onto my parents onto my parents onto my parents here's what God does he takes his word and programs our thinking and the Bible makes it very clear and a simple statement as a man or woman or a child thinks in his heart so is he we think listen we act the way we think and in our society that's what we've done close it up lay it aside and then let's live it out well we've got what living it
out takes we've got a society that's so messed up fouled up frustrated full of anxiety full of ill health worshiping all kinds of gods we've got a mess you want to get it cleaned up then open the book and be obedient to the Living God who's given us in simple Ten Commandments how to have a Godly Society amen and father that's my prayer the prayer of all all of us that we would once again acknowledge and recognize your law as the law for our protection our good and your glory in Jesus name amen
