I'd like to offer a Biblical perspective on the [Music] following is Christianity under threat in America are we approaching a time when Christians will be silenced one man seems to think so I recently read some where that said the spirit of the Antichrist has been loosed on the earth the headquarters appear to be America but before I go any further let me remind you of this the god of the Bible is faithful to those who trust him so there's no reason to fear Jesus Christ is coming back soon so all of the madness happening all

around the world is just confirmation of what we know now for the attendant Christian the Discerning Christian three things you will have noticed this year is that number one persecution is here and it will get worse the Bible says so Jesus warned us about it and organizations such as open doors and the voice of the martyrs are documenting just how real it is number two the world is ready for the Antichrist to appear a lot of things these days are anti-god anti-christianity ity and Antichrist it's as though the groundwork is being laid for the man

of sin the Lawless one to make his grand entrance onto the world stage and finally we're seeing the lines of morality the lines of Good and Evil being blurred and this tells me that the spiritual war between the forces of darkness and the forces of good has intensified imagine a father going to work one day and being told can't pay you unless you have the mark of the beast imagine a mother who's just given birth being told you can't pay for your baby's formula milk unless you've got the mark in this video I want to

show you that there will be more people that will accept the mark of the beast than those who reject it Everyone likes to think that if they were given the choice to pledge allegiance to the Antichrist or to reject him and lose their life a lot of people are biased in their thinking and assume they would refuse the mark of the beast but what happens when the Antichrist comes up with a system whereby you can't own a house without the mark you can't go to the supermarket and buy anything unless you've got the mark you

can't travel in a car or on public transport without the mark this is when people will feel the pressure to pledge allegiance to the man of sin but before we dive in any further I want to begin by reminding you of two Bible verses that underpin everything I'm going to say today the first is Matthew 7:13-14 which says enter through the narrow gate for wide is the gate and Broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it but small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only

a few find it note how the Bible says many enter through the broad Road meaning the majority will choose the broad Road and the second Bible verse is Matthew 7: 21-23 which says not everyone who says to me Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he who does the will of my Father in Heaven many will say to me in that day Lord Lord have we not prophesied in your name cast out demons in your name and done many wonders in your name and then I will declare to them I never knew you

depart from me you who practice lawlessness note how the Bible says many once again meaning the majority will say Lord Lord but Jesus will respond saying I never knew you depart from me so twice in the Bible we are told that the majority will either choose evil or end up in Eternal damnation and so with this understanding let's talk about the mark of the beast according to the Bible there will come a time when the Antichrist will establish a global regime that will enforce a system whereby everyone small or great the rich and the poor

the free men and the slaves everyone will be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead signifying allegiance to the Beast and without this Mark on your forehead or right hand no one will be able to buy or sell this Mark will be the name of the Beast or the number of its name we don't know whether the Mark will be a physical chip that can be implanted just under the skin we don't know whether it's something digital we don't know whether the Mark will be a barcode that people will have to

accept but what we do know is that a lot of people will certainly accept the mark and the simple reason for this is that the Antichrist will make it so difficult to live life without the mark imagine these scenarios all of the major institutions in the world Banks and hospitals for example imagine if they say that you need the mark in order to pay your medical bills or to perform any banking transactions imagine if you are told that you can only make your mortgage payments your rent payments if you have the mark what would you

do just imagine the pressure for you to do your household shopping to buy food or to get any of the necessities of life before you can buy anything you'll have to display a specific Mark so that the people that do do not submit to the Antichrist will in a certain sense be isolated and cut off from the necessities of life the majority of people will find these pressures to be too great and they will sell their souls to the devil now here are a couple of theories as to how the Antichrist will spread his message

deception one school of thought is that there will be a seismic economic crash that will totally destroy the world's Financial systems this is the stage that will allow the Antichrist to take center stage and appear to have all of the answers one of those answers will be his mark this is where Revelation 13: 16 to17 comes in which tells us that everyone small and great rich and poor free and slave will be given a mark and no one can buy or sell anything without that Mark it is likely that the Antichrist will get the masses

to accept this Mark by telling them that this new world system of Global finance will be necessary for society to function safely and efficiently but this is a lie because you effectively have no choice it is a dictatorship the messaging will be good deep down there is no choice there is no alternative it's comply or suffer the second theory is enforced Allegiance we all know that the Antichrist opposes Jesus Christ he hates the things of God and so for any believers who were rejecting the mark they will be persecuted they will be mistreated Daniel 7:25

says he shall speak pompous words against the most high shall persecute the Saints of the most high and shall intend to change times and law then the Saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time when the Antichrist is in power persecution against Christians will be at an all-time high I believe he will actively hunt Christians he will be on a mission to persecute anyone who would dare deny his Mark and hold on to the faith of Jesus Christ and the Bible paints a very Vivid picture of just

how severe the persecution will be because Revelation 20:4 says and I saw Thrones and they sat on them and judgment was committed to them then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God who had not worshiped the Beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands and they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years there is a price to pay for those who refuse the mark of the beast and for many people that

price will simply be too great for them and they will choose the mark of the beast also so that they can go back to the comfort of their daily lives and so here are some key takeaways for you regarding the Antichrist he is a man that will have deceptive Charisma imagine a charismatic leader who captivates crowds with eloquence and charm on the surface but make no mistake about it he is driven and motivated by a devilish and demonic force in 1 John 2:8 the Apostle John speaks of antichrists who come with deception just as charismatic

leaders can sway public opinion the Antichrist will likely possess a magnetic charm making him appealing to many just look at some of the worst dictators the world has ever seen history has shown us leaders who through Charisma and charm gained immense influence and led people down destructive paths secondly when you are talking about the Antichrist you are talking about the spirit of deception think of a master Illusionist who can make the impossible seem real in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 Paul warns of the antichrist's counterfeit miracles signs and wonders used to deceive just as illusionists create convincing

Illusions the Antichrist will use deception on a grand scale including signs and wonders to mislead people magicians and illusionists can create astonishing Feats that appear Supernatural much like the deceptive signs and wonders associated with with the Antichrist thirdly the Antichrist will be just what his name says Antichrist he will be in serious aggressive opposition to Jesus Christ the term Antichrist signifies one who opposes Christ in 1 John 2:22 it is written who is the liar it is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ such a person is the Antichrist denying the father and the son

the Antichrist will actively oppose and deny the Divinity of Jesus Christ but my final point is that the Antichrist will be ultimately defeated imagine a conqueror who was eventually defeated and overthrown in Revelation 19:20 we read of the antichrist's ultimate fate but the Beast was captured and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf with these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image the Antichrist may have a season of apparent success but his ultimate Destiny is defeat and judgment the Devil

is a threat but Jesus Christ is Almighty and has already defeated Satan the Antichrist may have some power on this Earth but Jesus Christ is all powerful he holds all power on on heaven and on Earth evil may appear to be everywhere but the Holy Spirit Will Empower you wherever you are greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world if you and I can only keep our eyes focused on Jesus Christ if we can only keep our hearts saturated with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and our minds fixed on

the word of God if we can only do this then it doesn't matter what the enemy does or how much power he has in this world because in the Lord you can overcome every arrow sent by the enemy with God on your side you and I have nothing to fear while the world may choose to follow the Beast of the world or be led by the spirit of antichrist those who remain in Jesus Christ being led by the spirit of Truth those are the people who will be saved let me tell you what I believe

to be one of the biggest problems we have as believers the biggest stumbling block we face in our lives can be found in Hosea 4 and: 6 which says my people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge now that's a deep statement a lack of knowledge leads to destruction but a lack of knowledge about what I believe that the Bible here is talking about a lack of knowledge about who God truly is a lack of knowledge about the word of God and the things of God not having a knowledge in these things in these areas

and this circumstance means that you cannot discern God from a deceptive devil now the Bible tells us in Revelation 12 that the devil was hurled to Earth and his angels went with him Revelation 12:7 speaks of a war that broke out in heaven Michael and his angels fought against the dragon the devil and it says and the dragon and his angels fought back but he was not strong enough and they lost their place in heaven now we forget that part the devil rebelled with his angels here again is where we need knowledge if a third

of the Angels were cast down from heaven what do you think they do and let's remember that these angels would have had a role to play while in heaven for example look at Michael the angel of war look at Gabriel the messenger and Lucifer when he was in heaven he was the chief musician but if the devil was cast down from heaven with other Angels other Angels who had roles other Angels who had responsibilities and functions in heaven then the word of God is absolute in its accuracy when it says we wrestle not against flesh

and blood we wrestle against principal ities against Powers against rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places these fallen angels have ranks these are demonic hierarchies territorial Spirits that's why you shouldn't play with spiritual warfare as a child of God that's why we need to apply the knowledge that's in the word of God the word that tells you put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the Ws of the devil all around us there's news and a lot of it's bad just look up

any major news Outlet what's in its News Bulletin today probably a tragic incident an unfortunate attack a report on a threat of war from one country to another or some coverage on the latest natural disaster to leave people homeless a lot of the news we consume is bad news very rarely will trending news be something uplifting but there's another way to approach news a balanced way the way that Jesus showed us he told his disciples how to deal with news and his conversation about this is reported in all three synoptic gospels let's take Matthew's report

in Matthew chapters 24 and 25 Jesus gives a big picture view of news he said history will have an end all these events on the TV news they're coming to an end point an end that God set up this is the big picture of news God is the Lord firmly on the throne and he has arranged for this world of ours to end when it will end we don't know Jesus said only the father knows the time now it's clear that Jesus will one day appear in power and great glory in fact 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

says for the Lord himself would descend from heaven with a cry of command with the voice of an archangel and with the sound of the trumpet of God and the dead in Christ will rise first then we who are alive who are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord so this is the big picture Earth is heading for a wonderful end that God's designed and arranged now when Jesus was telling his disciples about the signs of

the end of the age he pretty much told them that the world is heading in a direction where a lot of the news headlines will not be good headlines we will hear of a lot of things he said we'll hear about wars being fought in distant places he said there will be rumors of War there will be news of Nations falling out and arguing there will be reports of famines and earthquakes and so on mixed in with this there'll also be good news for example he said the gospel will be preached to All Nations and

that's certainly good news also he said you will hear these things in other words Jesus expected we would live in a news environment surrounded by news much of it bad he then said see to it that you are not alarmed such things must happen could these be the things we see in our social media feed the TV news we watch Jesus told us to expect a regular flow of bad news it'll be with us right up to when the end comes then he said when you see all these things the bad news you know that

the end is near right at the door but wait you might be thinking Jesus said we can't know when the end will come but then he says that when certain things come to pass the end will be close this is where Matthew 24:42 comes in because the Bible says therefore stay awake for you do not know on what day your lord is coming other translations say keep watch be ready we don't know the exact date and time when the end will happen but we can be poised to welcome it by keeping watch and being ready

this is the balance this is how Jesus encourages us to process and judge the torrent of news pouring into our lives don't be alarmed watch be ready there's a big picture let's see how this works in practice take evil influences they're out there and they're getting stronger right we see plenty of this in the news evil sinful standards have become very very common all around us all the time social media and broadcasters are feeding us news stories about unbiblical sexual attitudes doctrines and teachings what do we do with this do we Panic do we hide

do we speak out Jesus reminds us that all this is coming to an end there will be a judgment righteousness will be returned as the true measure of what's right and wrong the world is getting more and more saturated with evil but this will one day be wrapped up like a blanket it will end in the Glorious powerful Return of the Lord Jesus and his wonderful Rule and everyone will see him I encourage you to really study the times look at the diminishing influence of Christ Christianity and the church in the world there are plenty

of news reports about Western governments passing laws to push Christians into the margins and news about the same governments bending over backwards to welcome other views and beliefs contrary to God's word Jesus warned us all this will happen we need to brace ourselves for conflict and pressure and persecution but we shouldn't be surprised at all the anti-christian news Jesus said in Matthew 24 we would face intense opposition before he returns and that's the big picture there's so much reporting on Greed and lust these things are normalized certainly on social media even in the big mainstream

news channels sin is approved greed and Hedonism are paraded openly but Jesus taught us how to cope with the flood of news stories promoting these things he said at the end they'll be judged by a whole God righteousness will be rewarded the word of God has given us plenty of warnings concerning what's to come as Believers we have to be prepared the news of disaster wars and rumors of wars famines and pestilences this should all be reason enough for us to seek Jesus Christ even more it should be reason enough for us to be even

hungrier for Christ Jesus said in Luke 17:34 to 36 I tell you on that night two people will be in one bed one will be taken and the other left two women will be grinding Grain Together one will be taken and the other left what the Bible is doing here is that it's giving us an illustration of how the Rapture will happen you and I could never tell who will be caught up and raptured away because it's only God who knows the state of the heart but what will happen is that husband and wife will

go to bed one night and one will be taken but the other will remain two friends will be walking and talking and in the twinkling of an eye one will be taken and one will be left behind in all of these occasions it's only the person who is pure in heart that will be taken it's the one who lives for Jesus and under the guidance and influence of the Holy Spirit it doesn't matter if your wife PR or your husband is a big giver when Jesus Christ Returns the only thing that matters is whether you

have a relationship with him not everybody is going up in the Rapture unbelievers will be left behind some Believers will have backslidden and will be left behind other believers will be left behind because they have secrets secrets that only they know and God sees you cannot afford to be ignorant concerning the second coming of Jesus Christ you should be looking forward to the second coming of Christ you should be longing to be caught up in the air with the Son of God and we have this promise the promise of a place in eternity and his

ever satisfying pure companionship I go to prepare a place for you he said in John 14 and I will come back and take you to be with me where I am keep watch and be ready I believe that it's time for us to wake up it's a time for us to be vigilant and to be ready because it's either the Lord will appear in the twinkling of an eye or each of us will appear before him in an instant one way or another it's time for us to wake up be ready and stay ready the

day of the Lord is near we don't want to be caught sleeping like those in the world the Bible says that he is coming like a thief in the night will you be ready or will you be bogged down by the cares of this world will you be ready or will you be found to be caught up in the pleasures of this world will you be ready or will you allow anger greed Envy or sin to distract you from what really matters when we think of Satan's work we often think of demonic possessions and extreme

acts of Terror while Satan sometimes functions that way his primary work mode is much Tamer than that his goal is to try to deceive us and influence us to sin he is completely satisfied if he can deceive us into sin without us even knowing it is him he is like a serpent in the garden ready to attack once he bites he hides so we do not see where the bite comes from and we need to Beware of the serpent hiding in our garden his name is Satan the first place we see the devil triy to

deceive someone into sin is at the beginning of the Bible in Genesis 3 in six days God created the whole universe on the seventh day he rested while creating the entire universe he also created Adam and Eve Adam and Eve were created in the image of God there was no sin in the world there was only one rule for Adam and Eve it was not to eat the fruit from the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil Satan wanted to get them to break that rule and thus sin in Genesis 3:1 the Bible tells

us that Satan is Crafty as it says the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made this means he works deceptively he does not just tell Adam and Eve to sin he tries to trick and influence them into it instead of yelling at Adam and Eve to eat the fruit from the tree he does it at a whisper we see Satan's first attempt in Genesis 3:3 it says but God said You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden neither

shall you touch it lest you die this is what Satan said to Eve he does not tell Eve to eat the fruit however he does call God into question and even adds to the commands of God God never told Eve not to touch the tree in Genesis 2 God just tells them not to eat it he questions God even more in Verses 4 and 5 which say but the serpent said to the woman you will not surely die for God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be

like God knowing good and evil he calls God a liar the deception from the serpent in the garden works and Eve ends up eating the fruit and so does her husband we need to be aware of the serpent in our garden while we may not be in a literal Garden but Satan wants to do the same thing to us in our life the Devil comes into our life and whispers falsehoods about God he tries to get us to question who God is he will say things to us such as you'll never be forgiven or you'll

never be loved these are all lies coming from the mouth of Satan and the pit of Hell when we imagine the devil we often Envision a little red man with a tail and horns we may even imagine him Whispering into one ear while an angel Whispers into the other ear however Satan is much more deceptive than that the serpent comes in different forms to influence us and maybe a stranger coworker friend or family he uses to try to get us to sin he uses those people to try to get you to disobey and live an

evil life one way that Satan deceives is by taking a little bit of truth but then adding to it for example as Christians we know that we have the grace of God we are not saved by what we do but by what Christ has done on our behalf Satan will use a small piece of that truth but then try to twist the rest he may try to get us to believe the truth of unlimited Grace this Doctrine teaches us that it does not matter how we live our life since we have Grace we can sin

all we want however that is not true he used this lie in the church in Rome Romans 6: 1-2 says what shall we say then are we to continue in sin that Grace May abound by no means how can we who died to sin still live in it in this scripture Paul tells the early church that we should not sin as much as we want just to get Grace we have been set free from sin so how can we choose to still constantly live in it in the same way that a child follows his father's

rules out of love for him we should follow our Heavenly father's rules out of love for him Satan will try to get us to believe the doctrine that tickles our ears instead of the true gospel of Christ we must take the time to examine our own life there is a serpent in your garden trying to convince you to sin who is that serpent masqueraded as maybe it's a friend coworker or a loved one take a moment to reflect on who Satan could be using in your life after that think about what lies Satan is trying

to get you to believe maybe it's that God doesn't love you or that God doesn't care if you sin those are lies now after you identify who the devil is and what lies he is trying to get you to believe run to the serpent killer after Adam and Eve give into sin God lays out his punishments for s Adam and Eve when talking to the serpent in Genesis 3 he says that an offspring of Eve will come and step on the head of the serpent by doing this The Offspring will kill the serpent many years

later one of Adam and Eve's Offspring came to live on this Earth his name was Jesus by his life death and Resurrection he defeated Satan and stepped on the Serpent's head take time now and ask for protection from the one who defeated the serpent when the time comes there are only two destinations where we will spend all of eternity the choices we make now the way we live now what we do now and the status of our hearts now will determine the trajectory of our our souls after death so today if you hear God's voice

do not Harden your heart Christ is knocking on your heart he is calling you to repent and accept the love he has to offer you so I'm encouraging you to turn away from your sin and turn toward God the Earthly pleasure that sin offers is nothing compared to the Eternal Joy found in Jesus Christ the devil seeks to kill and destroy but Jesus comes to bring life to the fullest we only have one life to live and only so much time to live it will we spend it on our own selfish wants or will we

follow the plan God has for us will we live life thinking we have time or will we live life for God as if today is our last day on Earth ever since the Ascension of Jesus into heaven there have been people claiming they knew when he would return even some people in the early church thought they knew when Jesus would come back in the book of First and 2 Thessalonians we see that they were so sold that Jesus was going to return quickly that many of them quit their jobs almost every generation of Christians since

has had people try to predict the second coming of of Jesus Jesus tells us not to focus on when he's coming back because no one knows but to focus on living a life that honors God in preparation for his second coming Matthew 24: 36-44 says but concerning that day and hour no one knows not even the angels of Heaven nor the son but the father only for as were the days of Noah so will be the coming of the son of man for as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking marrying

and giving in marriage until the day when Noah entered the Ark and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away so will be the coming of the son of man then two men will be in the field one will be taken and one left two women will be grinding at the Mill one will be taken and one left therefore stay awake for you do not know on what day your lord is coming but know this that if the Master of the House had known in what part of the night the thief

was coming he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into therefore you must be ready for the son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect the disciples ask Jesus when he will come back instead of giving them the answer they want he tells them nobody knows directly after that Jesus says his coming back will be like the days of Noah someone take this literally Jesus would come back with a flood almost like there will be a Noah 2.0 however after we see Jesus say his coming

back will be like the days of Noah he defines what that means in verse 38 he shows us that in the same way people were surprised about the flood people will also be surprised about the return of Jesus they'll be unprepared imagine the shock of those on Earth the day of the flood they ate with their families played with their kids and worked in the field all of a sudden rain started to fall from the sky it just started with a little bit but then fell harder and harder verse 39 tells us that they were

unaware of the flood until it swept them away the same will be true with the return of Jesus people will be watching TV eating a meal with their family and playing games on their phones then all of a sudden Jesus will return and take his children home Jesus's point is not that there is some period of time before he returns called the days of Noah that leads to his return but that when he returns people will be surprised like they were were in the days of Noah when the flood hit you may hear people state

that we are in the days of Noah because the world is so corrupt however the point Jesus is trying to make in Matthew 26 is that nobody knows when he is going to return as people were completely surprised by the flood in the days of Noah so they will be at his return the similarity between the days of Noah and today is uncanny sin is everywhere however the world is no more corrupted to Day by sin than it was 500 years ago when there was slavery and constant debauchery now while the world is corrupt with

sin it has always been and will be until he returns there was no golden day the only golden day there will be is at the return of Jesus so while the world around us tries to normalize and accept sin which is what the world has always done we are called to be people who love and serve God and people instead of worrying about exactly when Jesus is coming back or trying to Define if we are in the days of Noah Jesus wants us to live a life of Holiness that honors God he wants us to

be prepared for whenever he comes back the truth is that in a sense there is a second flood that is coming to destroy sin and wickedness that flood is God's judgment we all deserve that judgment because of our sin and Reckless living however God gave us a second Ark that Ark is Jesus Christ when we could not reach up to God because of our sin he reached down to us by sending Jesus Jesus lived the perfect life we could not died the death we deserve and then Rose from the grave defeating sin Satan and death

Jesus Took the Judgment that you deserved in your place this Ark is not given for everyone you have to to accept the offer to get on those of us by the grace of God through faith trust that Jesus died for their sin and Rose from the grave will be saved when he returns Jesus's point is that those who realize what he had done for them on the cross will live prepared for their return let's say someone you're very close to maybe your spouse or kid had to leave for a very long time they told you

they would come back they just didn't know when you wait years and years for them out of love for that person you stay prepared for their arrival you keep their room in order you leave a spot for them at the table and you keep their favorite drinks in the fridge ready to go the same is true for Jesus out of love for him we live a life of Holiness that honors him when he returns we will be ready instead of worrying about when Jesus will return we should be concerned with living a life that would

honor him when he returns in Titus 2:13 the Bible tells us about the Blessed hope what is the Blessed hope you may ask well in Titus 2:13 the Bible says waiting for our blessed hope the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ The Blessed hope for us as Christians is the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ s let me tell you that we are on a collision course with Destiny there is coming a day when those who have been born again will be caught up in the air to meet

Jesus personally I look forward to the Rapture the Bible tells us that we will be given glorified bodies in heaven we will be in the presence of God Almighty for all eternity now salvation is a personal decision meaning that it's your decision alone to accept Jesus Christ Christ or reject him just as you came into the world alone and you will leave this world on your own you will stand before Christ as an individual there will be a day where you can't point to your mother or father it won't matter what your last name is

or who you're related to the only thing that will matter is do you know Jesus Christ have you accepted him as Lord and savior in your life Romans 12:2 2 says do not be conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing you may discern what is the will of God what is good and acceptable and perfect Saints do not conform to this world that's a clear word of instruction don't comply with this world don't become acclimated to this world Saints we are in this world but we

should not become accustomed nor should we adjust to this world and so you may ask what exactly should we not be accustomed to in this world well let me tell you that the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:4 in their case the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers to keep them from seeing the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God I want to focus on the first few words of this verse the God of this world has blinded the minds Saints this world

is lost and the Bible clearly says the God of this world the devil Satan he has a hold on the minds of people who are not in Christ This Is Why We ought not to be conformed to the patterns to the values and the customs of this world have you noticed the heresy the blasphemy the lack of reverence for Godly principles that this world has we need to be a people who are focused on Christ a people who are governed by the word of God a people who are regulated and directed by the holy spirit

so that we can truly seek first the kingdom of God the ible says in Matthew 24: 6 to8 you will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed such things must happen but the end is still to come Nation will rise against nation and Kingdom against Kingdom there will be famines and earthquakes in various places all these are the beginning of birth pains pay attention to what the Bible says in verse 8 all these are the beginning of birth pains the beginning of birth pains the Bible says

now we're living in a time where there are many conflicts all around the world and there are these loud grumblings of more potential conflicts but this is all in the Bible the Bible tells us that we should not be alarmed such things must happen everything we are living through now we've been foretold in the Bible and if we are Bible believing Saints we should not be surprised by the headlines but the main thing for us is that we should not be fearful but more so filled with faith we need Faith and Hope in Jesus regardless

of whether or not there is a war we need to keep our Faith and Hope in Jesus regardless of whether or not the headlines are filled with Doom and Gloom we need faith and Zeal no matter how evil the days are and no matter how many disasters strike the world and I believe that one thing we need to be aware of is what happens inwardly in these last days we should really be careful that our hearts aren't swayed or hardened I believe that in the last days the presence of evil will be so real and

so tangible that if we're not careful some of us will fall into a false sense of security thinking we are living for Christ when in fact we are living according to our own self-righteous standard I encourage you to pray for a soft heart a heart that is quick to repent a heart that is quick to run to the Lord and quick to run away from Evil the Bible tells us that in the last days because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold Hearts will grow cold as we Edge closer and closer to

the end of the age and the return of Christ so here's my War warning to you be careful that your heart is not hardened Jesus Christ is coming back don't be distracted by this world Jesus is coming back don't get too comfortable in this world Jesus is coming back don't sleep on the word of God don't sleep on the Promises of God don't ignore the signs of the times Jesus is coming back like a thief in the night the Lord is coming and this message is repeated over and over again because the Lord wants us

to go on living as if he were coming tomorrow to be on Red Alert be found to always be ready so that if he came tomorrow if he came tonight you and I wouldn't be embarrassed to be saying the name of Jesus but not living for Jesus don't be found to be lukewarm get your house in order so stay prayerful Be watchful of the times the Lord is coming soon in our world today not only is there evil at every corner not only is there temptation all around us but this world provides you with so

many distractions there are many things vying for our attention on a day-to-day basis and to be honest if we're not careful as men and women of God we can easily and sometimes unknowingly lose our focus on what really matters in life and so I encourage you to take a moment and think about whether or not you are truly living for Jesus Christ or are you content living life and simply putting Jesus Christ alongside everything and every one else the Bible in Hebrews 3:15 says while it is said today if you hear his voice do not

Harden your hearts as in the rebellion and on this matter of hardening your heart Proverbs 28:4 says happy is the man who is always reverent but he who hardens his heart will fall into Calamity now what does it mean to have a hardened heart it means spiritual blindness it means insensitivity towards God's Beauty And Glory it means chasing after our own desires instead of the things of God a hardened heart rejects God but thankfully in his mercy God has offered to change our hearts and I want you to know that God can change our hearts

Ezekiel [Music] 26:36 and I will give you a new new heart and a new spirit I will put within you and I will remove the Heart of Stone from your flesh and give you a heart of Flesh since the beginning of time God has been drawing us toward himself even when we stubbornly ignore him he doesn't walk away he never gives up on us in the Book of Matthew Jesus Compares his second coming to a great wedding Feast a joyful celebration of the perfect union between Jesus Christ and his bride the church and so we

are invited to the greatest dinner banquet of all time have you responded to that invitation or are you putting it off until the last minute maybe you've become deafen to the sound of him knocking maybe your attention has been captured by other things like work and finances and romantic love those things seem important till you realize that they are only temporary and when your life is over or Jesus returns they will no longer be of any value we all think we have more time to get right with God but the truth is that life is

short tomorrow is not guaranteed everything we do today matters on an eternal level if Jesus came back today would you be ready would you be able ble to say that your heart was firmly set on Christ now is the time to place your faith in Jesus and so today if you hear his voice don't Harden your heart instead allow him to come in and change your life [Music] forever in Hebrews 12:1 the Bible says therefore since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses let us also lay aside every weight and sin which

clings so closely and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us the Bible is calling us to strip off every unnecessary weight in our lives do away with the sin which tries to ensnare you and keep you bound people of God Jesus Christ is all that matters and with the time that you have live with wisdom and make use of today and serve the Lord while you still can our days are numbered and we must live for God so in everything you do put God first in the midst of everything you
