so listen to this for years we were blasted with headlines that blame Del Ali for his own downfall they told you that the kid they named England's greatest Wonder kid since Wayne Rooney at one point the most valuable midfielder in the world it turned out to be just a lazy self-obsessed Playboy who set fire to his own career because he cared more about partying flashy cars in fortnite than playing actual football but those were lies stories that tabloids ran because in reality no one knew the truth and now that it has been made public maybe
more than ever the English media's complete lack of morals has been exposed what it did to him was a complete character assassination the reality is that t Ali was abandoned and severely abused by his own parents who only showed up for him once he became a star and manipulated the media to portray him as the villain in a desperate attempt to force their way back into his life digging up his drama while he fought to hide it unable to talk about it even to those closest to him and relying on prescription medicine to bury it
the fact he ever managed to become a football Superstar is the most unbelievable part of this story the only thing anyone should care about is that he stays safe and that Justice is brought to his name so today for the first time ever I want to tell the real story of Dal Al is told by the man himself Dal Ali was born to an English mother as one over four children from four different men meanwhile his father was a successful Nigerian businessman who left him only a week after his birth regardless living with an alcoholic
mother in a council house she pretty much left him in the streets to fend for himself even worse Deli claims that growing up there were always like 10 men hanging around the house only adding that gangs were involved and the most heartbreaking of all that at the age of six one of his mother's friends abused him from that moment on Del spiraled out of control in his on Words at 7 years old I started smoking by 8 I was dealing after an older person told them that no one would ever suspect a kid on a
bike by 9 after getting in trouble with the police his own mother sent him to live with his father in Nigeria for a year but that wasn't exactly to protect him from the start the contrast was absurd with his father he allegedly lived in a 10 bedroom mansion being waited on by three Maids while attending one of the most expensive private schools in the country regardless the problem wasn't even that he felt out of place but that in the words of his mother he was sent there to learn discipline which St described as horrible saying
that after only 6 months I was sent back and my blood father sort of disappeared once again in England Del quickly fell even deeper into the world he had left behind at one point even being hung off a bridge but this return actually turns out to be the greatest thing that could have happened to him because at 11 he joined the Academy of his local Club MK Dons and after a year quite literally breaking the club's records for spring times and long-distance runs the social services began tracking his situation and once the family of one
of his teammates noticed the precarious situation he was in they took him in as one of their own pretty much adopting him even if it was never on paper in his own words if God created people it was them over the next 3 years his adoptive family grew more and more aware that he wasn't okay they saw how quickly he began withdrawing himself from his biological family it began with him not answering calls missing family events and soon he had cut contact completely but yet when he tried to talk to him thanks to years of
being treated as something disposable in his own words I couldn't open up to them because I felt they could get rid of me at any moment so to make sure that didn't happen I tried to be the best kid I could be which to him meant transforming himself into one of the most promising players in the country still only 15 Del was brought into first team training a few months after turning 16 he was already debuting the FA Cup a week later he had scored the screamer from 30 yards out and Midway Through The Following
Season even with injuries coming in his way he had already forced himself into the starting 11 getting his first hattick before he had even turned 18 and closing out that season with a phenomenal volley as the journalists began writing down comparisons to Steven Gerard by his third season it was becoming impossible for the club to hold on to their most precious Academy graduates but if they had any hopes of keeping him for much longer then they played Man United at that game there were Bayern Munich and Liverpool Scouts on the stands even more important maurici
pettino was there Deli knew those were the biggest 90 minutes of his life and what he proceeded to do well I'm sure even his biggest dreams were far from it playing right in front of Louis vanal Ryan G she to win DEA Deli commanded the Midfield as he led his third tier Club to put four goals past United earning his first call to the England under 19s the very next day and instantly going on a streak with seven goal contributions in five matches already scoring his second career hattrick then slowing down for about 3 weeks
only to come back with 10 goal contributions over the next 18 games all while playing in a Midfield double pavot alongside Darren Potter which meant that by February Tottenham came in with A7 million EUR offer to snatch him away though I'm guessing Del had some unfinished business at MK Don since he came back on loan until the end of the season and it was incredible after a month's sidelined with an ankle injury Deli came back to find his team sitting five points away from the automatic promotion spots with only five games left in the season
so the next match he scored an assisted to bring that gap down to three points the one after that one more goal in one more assist and suddenly it was down to just one so once three assists over the next two games weren't enough for them to grab onto that second place spot he joined his team on a 5 to one final day demolition with the fans invading the pitch as they celebrated their first and still to this day only ever promotion to the championship though very soon for Deli those kinds of stakes would mean
nothing having just scooped up the League's young Player of the Year War he marked his unofficial debut at Tottenham by going into a preseason match against Real Madrid and nut maging Luka modc then only 38 minutes into his Premier League career he scored his first goal and a month later he was already being called up to the English national team but if that was supposed to be a good memory instead it was ruined by his parents hearing of their son's rise to Star them his dad showed up out of nowhere trying to force himself on
him eventually getting together with his mom who by now he actually had some contact with and going to the Press Beth mouthing his adoptive family in his own words after that I felt so betrayed I couldn't keep a relationship with him at all regardless at that point Deli was still able to push through the very next month he took the man of the match reward at in North London Derby 9 days later he ran it back with another war in his first ever start for England against none other than France and only 5 months after
arriving at the club already on a streak of seven goal contributions in nine matches being deemed by many as the poster boy of tottenham's greatest ever titled charge Delhi was already getting a contract renewal as pochettino himself claimed that despite his age at the level is playing he deserves to be paid as much as any of his teammates however again his biological parents probably realizing that their media St LED them nowhere felt this was a good moment to the story's progress showing up outside the stadium waiting for him by his car and making a scene
in front of the fence as Deli drove away refusing to approached them eventually being forced to warn the club security never to let them inside their facilities again after his dad booked a stadium tour in hopes of forcing him to get face to face with him and yet somehow this still did not slow Del down before the end of the months in a game against Crystal Palace stally took a touch on the ball lifted it over defender's head and smacked in the volley on the turn to score the goal of the Season seeing that it
was just unbelievable that this was a 19-year-old who just a few months back had never played Top Flight football but well a month later he was again taking a man ofth match award as England came back from two goals behind to beat Germany and if there were any doubts of how important he had become to his teams by the end of the season with three games left he was banned for punching another player in the stomach and suddenly Tottenham were just five points off the top not only destroyed any hopes they had of taking a
first ever premier league title but went completely windless dropping all the way down to third but at least now no one was doubting the new kid on the Block so not only did he make the league's team of the season but he won young Player of the Year above Harry Kane himself to start his second season still trying to distance himself from his parents Deli would make the decision to remove their surname from the back of his shirt and this must have been cathartic in some way because after taking a few months to adapt to
a switch into a more offensive role he hit maybe the most impressive form of his career scoring eight goals in the space of six matches seemingly scoring every time he made a run into the box becoming so deadly that many started arguing that he had fully transitioned into a second Striker rle though really he was just freakishly well-rounded with Postino himself explaining that anything is possible for him in the Box he looks like a striker and outside of it he plays like a midfielder maybe one day he'll try playing as a goalkeeper so much so
that even though Tottenham were still 10 points off the top of the table at that point then they'd win 12 out of their last 13 league matches thanks to the fact that D would put down 15 goal contributions over that period totaling 32 over the full season leading Tottenham to the highest point stally in their history finishing the year with the best goal difference and the fewest defeats out of any club in the league and still somehow not taking the title as Deli would once again make it into the team of the season no matter
what going as far as becoming only the fourth player in history after only Rooney gigs and Fowler to take the young player of the Year award for the second year in a row though honestly at this point not even that was enough to represent how well he was performing Del Yi at Barcelona and Real Madrid inquiring about his signing with a legendary Roberto Carlos himself coming out to say that he was undoubtedly good enough for Real Madrid from this point on even with a hamstring injury and Postino bringing him back into a deeper position further
away from the spotlight Deli still managed to go into his season by scoring twice against real and getting two assists against Dortmund clutching both matches to send Tottenham into the Champions League knockout stage for only the third time in their history and despite tottenham's performances That season being relatively underwhelming compared to the previous Sue Midway through the year as the balandor nanes were revealed even though Del did get snubbed it have half the country claiming his name should have been on it and by summer with more and more iconic performances being added to his resume
at one point scoring twice to lead Tottenham to their first win at Stanford bridge in 20 eight years there would be one list his name just could not be excluded from the World Cup callup and after a tournament where he scored one of the goals that led him to the semi-finals for the first time since 1990 even winning the free kick that almost put them in the final Del closed out his Summer by coming second in a cis's list for the most valuable players on the planet behind only Neymar but yet it was here at
22 years old that things started turning for the worse once again the Following season with a club funneling every single sent into the construction of their new stadium Tottenham became the first team in Premier league history to get to a transfer window without making a single signing and if that was the riding on the wall for the downfall they were about to go through then D mstring injury came back sidelining him not once but four times in a single season missing 26 matches in total by the end while playing with a broken hand in the
Champions League semifinals he assisted two goal swel Tottenham and a three-goal comeback and an unbelievable place in the final which was enough to full sum into believing they had no reason to worry about him or the club but by November not only had Deli been out for 28 more days with yet another injury relapse but pochettino had been sacked with only five wins in the first 17 matches of the season with mingu coming in and instantly sending Deli on a run of seven goal contributions in five matches there was a lot of hope that the
special one would turn things around but then his form evaporated and by the end of the season with tottenham's Amazon Prime documentary being released there were Clips upon clips of Maru trying to motivate him famously telling Del that I'm 56 years old now and yesterday yesterday I was 20 time flies in one day you'll regret it if you don't achieve what you can achieve but really with the kid still unable to flip his form around the tabloids is it all create the narrative that t was the Premier League's most recent burnout a brat who refused
to listen to the words of a legendary manager when the truth was that with the kid isolated in his home at the peak of the pandemic and his entire sense of selfworth being completely dependent on his football performances since the time he was 12 he had been struggling mentally to the point of abusing sleeping pills in order to numb himself down which only made him even more fearful of asking for help years later admitting that it was tough for me when pochettino left it was hard to let anyone else in it felt fake speaking to
other managers I couldn't believe they'd care for me on a personal level by the next season with links to PSG fizzling out and rumors of a rift between him and Mourinho he said it himself that he was looking in the mirror and asking himself if he could retire at 24 while the likes of royin and radn kept going on TV insinuating that this was all because he only cared about flashy cars and jewelry reinforcing the media's false narrative no matter how often his teammates would come out to defend him and even if after some truly
phenomenal Europa League performances going as far as scoring a bicycle kick he did get moting to bring him back into the starting 11 by April it too had been sacked after this nantu came in vo to help Del Ali make a comeback but that one went from manager of the month to getting the sack in the space of three months and with con coming in as their fourth manager of the Year ready to bring down his hammer on any players disrupting the club's momentum well by the winter Del was already getting transfer listed only ending
up at Frank lampard's Everton after Tottenham agreed they would only have to pay them if ended up playing more than 20 matches which pretty much doomed the transfer from then on Everton knew they could only play him if they were sure that he was worth of40 million pound that have to Fork out on bonuses so no matter if th did show some glimpses of his old Brilliance being brought in at halftime in the second to last match of the season to mount a three-goal comeback that saved Everton from relegation not even that was enough before
he knew it they were shipping him out on loan to bikas so they wouldn't have to pay Tottenham off and in Turkey things went so horribly that four months into it he was being booed by the fans while he got subbed off 30 minutes into a match soon being completely banished from the squad as his own manager told the press that he didn't deserve to play leaving him no option but to make it back to Mercy side where they didn't have any intention of playing him either now two years later that match in Turkey was
the last time he stepped onto the pitch 1,252 days have gone by since he last scored in the Premier League matter of fact despite having reached 50 League goals at 23 years old at least 3 years earlier than skull's J or Lampard if you check his record now he's still at 51 in his own words I lost myself I was turning everyone away I had a family that saved my life crying asking me what was wrong and I just couldn't say but thankfully last year Del willingly put himself to rehab getting proper help for both
his addiction and mental health issues and just a few days ago he joined KO in Italy under the guidance of SES faos in his own words I have a reminder on my phone every single day at 11:00 World Cup 2026 and honestly nothing would make me happier than seeing him there
