so today we are going to go over one of the most  powerful marketing crms that's out there right now called go high level it combines all the  different marketing softwares into one and it does a really great job at it it does your CRM  and your pipeline management unlimited sales funnels website Builders surveys and forms email  marketing two-way communication with text messages bookings and appointments workflows and automation  courses and products and a whole bunch of other stuff that is going to help you create your own  business in a box it's great for agency owners it's great for single businesses and what's really  cool is there are a bunch of different variations of people that have customized this tool to make  it so it's great for individuals for particular niches and also particular functions of  the business that they're trying to do so my name is Louisa virus I've been using high  level for the last three years going on for I use it for my own agency and I also help coach  inside of other programs that are using high level or have customized their variation of high  level in order to make it really really good for specific niches that they serve now what's crazy  is that not only can you build this for your own business and for yourself you can use it for your  agency and the clients under your agency but you also can create a SAS version where you sell it  to other people of all the different things you can possibly create what's awesome about this tool  is it has a very high level of customization that you can do that you can make it very personalized  to the niches that you serve I want to go over the entire tool exactly what it's about the pricing  and we're going to go deep dive into not only how you can create your own account today how to set  it all up from the beginning and then different levels of accounts that are out there so to start  off with you can go to the high level account right if so if you go over here Pi level. com you  can actually see the home page now remember there are different variations for you out there if  you're a single person that's going to be using it for your business I actually recommend going to  one of the flavors that is built out there for you so for instance if you're like a course creator  coach of any sort FG funnels is a really great alternative for a single user that they provide  great templates they have great snapshots great automations you're not really planning on going  to an agency I strongly recommend you going to that route and even if you are creating agencies  some of them have programs that you can use with them the best guy that I actually seen when I go  into their page is literally the list of all the different softwares you can eliminate because  this is incredibly accurate throughout the last three years I have eliminated all if not most  of my software that I use in conjunction with my marketing based on me going into high level  now I'm going to go directly into pricings because we're going to today we're going to  use the starter account and then I'm going to show you what I use in my agency program now  there's actually three levels believe it or not the first level is more for the single user  single account it's not if you're if you're not planning on selling this to anybody else  which a lot of people start in here but like I said if you are in a specific Niche I really  really highly recommend doing your research and finding one that's specific to your Niche because  sometimes they give you so much access to so many things that it's just going to be really worth  your while now if you are an agency like where I started I was an agency and I had a bunch  of clients under me and I just want it all in one program I used the limited month because you  can create eliminated accounts and sub-accounts in there so if you're an agency you can actually  start putting people inside of there and there's no limit on how many people you can have you can  charge them using this program it's not automated and you have to do a couple things manually but  it's still great for agencies if you do it and it just adds another price point or another thing  you can charge your customers it's really awesome to deliver them a pretty awesome experience  because you're going to eliminate so many other softwares that they're using and just bring them  into here and if they're long-standing clients trust me they're going to appreciate it the other  thing that I would mention is there is another plan which is a 497 plan which is the agency Pro  Plan that is if you're planning on selling this yourself to other clients so you create a version  of this you create a SAS product you do the 497 it has has a bunch of features that you can use  to Auto build clients and everything that you do now over time I will go over to that but when  we're first starting out we're going to go ahead and just do the 14-day trial and we're going  to try it out and I'm going to set it up from scratch for you so you can see how to set this up  and I'm going to start going over each different little items now remember on the starter plan  you're not going to have the multi-account access like you would on the 297 plan I'll switch over  to my version of that when we're ready for that and we can go through it so again 97 if you're a  single uh person just trying to do this for your own business if you are an agency and you have a  lot of clients interview and you're just trying to figure out a place where you can shove them  all and give them outstanding service and then more importantly have the support that you need  to like kind of go into their accounts I would do the 297 plan if you're an agency you're super  huge and you want to use this as another income stream I would strongly recommend going to the  497 plan which is the Pro Plan and again I'll go down these paths as we kind of build them out each  individually through the series that we're going to have but we're going to start with the basics  here we're going to go right to the 97th plan so I'm going to go ahead and select the 14-day trial  I'm going to go ahead and put in my information here and I'm going to pause all right I went ahead  and I put in my credit card information and I got right into the Second Step this is Robin one of  the co-founders awesome dude um hung out with them awesome conversations and I can tell you that  uh this one-time setup fee of 299 is really worth it especially if you're really new and you don't  know what you're doing the only thing that I would tell you is that we're going to build pretty much  all of this and customize it to our own um so I'm gonna personally obviously skill skip it but if  you want this uh you can go ahead and do it but the whole goal of what I'm going to try to do is  show you how to create this all for free uh where you create all of this and and have it pretty much  so we're literally going to go over each and every one of these things uh I'm actually going to  copy this and put it somewhere so to ensure that in the next several videos this is everything  that we're going to create uh and we're gonna go right through it and we're probably gonna follow  that same order uh just to make it super simple but again you can choose to do it if you want to  kind of speed up the process us again I am going to cover all of these uh as we go through a lot of  what we're actually going to do today but if again if you don't if you don't want it you can go ahead  and go through it not you can order the service and go through it watch the video again this is  your introduction to high level it's awesome like I said one of the best tools out there but for  instance I'm going to say no thank you for now and I'm going to go ahead and get started industry  whatever I'm just going to come over here and fill this out and just go ahead no I don't I'm gonna  put just know I don't have any customers yet I'm just gonna make it super basic I'm going to go  ahead and put in my billing information again I'm going to pause the video while I do this and  I'll be right back let's get it sending me a whole bunch of informations and all this other stuff and  now I'm going to go ahead and select the password so I'm going to pause again to do that so as you  can see it's going to go through a quick little demo you can go ahead and go through the demo for  this instance I'm actually going to go ahead and skip the demo because we're gonna go right into it  because I want to go a little bit more in detail into that as you can see I go right into my high  level account once you come in here um this is the agency view of things and you know it's an  agency view because it doesn't have an account selected and also you'll see agency dashboards so  so anytime it says agency you'll know that you're in the agency view of this what I'm going to do  is I'm going to go over to the left hand side I'm going to go to my account and boom here I go now  this is the pretty cool thing about the launch pad I personally love it I just makes it super easy to  connect all your accounts connect your stripe do all the things that you need to do I like to  use this first and really pretty much set up everything that I need set up here so for instance  if I was a local business and I want to connect my Google my business I would go ahead and connect  there when I hit connect it's going to bring in and ask me to sign in to my Google account  that hosts all the business addresses I don't physically have a location so I'm not going to be  using I'm not going to be using this right now but I do have a Facebook that I do want to connect so  I'm going to come in here I'm going to turn on and I'm going to go ahead and log into my Facebook and  as you can see it's asking me to log in so I went ahead and logged into my Facebook I come over  here I'm going to hit continue and this should automatically submit the code I'm doing that for  my phone now as we speak all right it's going to ask me to connect it's going to go ahead and do  that and it's going to tell me which business location that I have I'm not going to select any  because I don't want to messing with uh the other connections I have in my other account so but you  would pick the location that you want you would select the pages that you want there's a little  bit of a selector of all the pages you're going to need and you're going to go from there if you  have a website and you want to add a chat widget you can connect the chat widget here by giving  an example for for instance I can go to here and then what I'll do is it will actually give  us instructions on how to add the website chat plugin so you can immediately get a chat widget  directly on your site since it's going to give me the option of installing a plugin I'm going to  say yes start install and then you can select the one you want this is obviously WordPress so hit  next it tells you how to go to the plugins hit next and just to make it easier and just to save  some time I'm going to email the instructions to one of my email addresses and it automatically  has been sent super easy I'm gonna go back uh next is basically I'm going to connect stripe if I'm  going to be accepting payments you can skip this if you're not planning on accepting payments  but I'm going to go ahead and connect and and log in to my stripe account as we go through so  it's going to automatically connect you to your stripe account and you go through you put in your  username your password you do all of that and you should have an existing businesses now I have  multiple and again I don't want to mess this up with the current account that I have now but you  would go through the entire status set up your business if you don't have it set up on stripe or  connect the existing ones that you have alright so I'm going to go ahead and cool now that now that's  done I actually want to get the mobile app so what I can do is I'm going to put in my number here  I'm going to hit continue and it will actually send the mobile app to my phone so it will allow  me to get it see I just got it right now and I can literally download the current mobile app directly  onto my cell phone which is great because you're going to be able to access this tune right on  your phone uh and it's pretty cool it's really advantageous right after that if I wanted to add  a co-member like so we're in for instance if I wanted to add my partner I come in here and send  the invite I just hit enter and then we're going to send the invite this is why I liked using  the dashboard it connects to things that are most relevant to your business and it kind of  gives you a really good Head Start what I will tell you is there's two additional things you're  going to need in order to make this really work two of which are provided by high level itself but  I want to make sure you understand the difference so there's two connections one is for mail so you  just send outbound mail from this tool and the other one is text messaging which is using twilio  which is a text messaging SMS provider that allows you to send text messages from this account  those are things that you're going to want to connect really early on so this is by far the most  complicated part of the whole entire setup because I want to make sure you understand your options  when you want to do text messages you're going to have to use a text messaging service called twilio  twilio is going to basically you're gonna have two different variations of it one where you set it  up yourself and you're managing all yourself the second one where you're allowing high level to use  their version of twilio and they're going to do it for you regardless of which it's still twilio  it follows the same rules the same laws of text messaging so one is managed for you the other  one you're doing a lot of the setup and you're doing the rest of it yourself so I just want to  make sure you understand that we're gonna we're gonna talk about text messaging first so the way  it works is this you set up lead connector and it's got the text messaging part of it high level  manages the twilio of massive twilio account where they now put your number in there or they put  your account in there the way it works is this every connection is going to be so you create  an agency connection that goes to your agency account anytime you create a sub account remember  when we went out and created an individual account your individual account is called a sub account  remember there's two levels the agency level and then there's a sub account level when you connect  lead connector at the agency level if you're just on your own account it will automatically give  you the lead Connection in here so basically you set up lead connector to your agency every time  you create a sub account it's going to create a sub account inside of twilio from one account  the next account the next account and so forth and so on if you let high level do it they will  do all this process for you you can then assign numbers basically every single time you create  another account it's going to automatically use that agency connection and it's going to create  accounts for you when it comes to mail we use a system called mailgun that is basically going  to do the same thing it's going to give you one overall account and then it's going to allow you  to create sub accounts so you would connect it to your agency and every time you create another  sub account it would automatically assign a mail to that and there's ways of personalizing the  mail now I'll go each individuals in steps but I want to make sure you basically under stand you  create it at the agency level and then every time you create an account it creates a little sub  account inside the your agency account that you created in this little bubble and if you're  an agency every time you create another sub account it's going to create another subaccount  inside of your little pocket world let's say of twilio same thing with mail gun you create one  agency mail gun here's your age account or your main account if you just have one sub account and  then it just automatically connects there there's ways to personalize it which we're going to go  over and then it's going to create little sub accounts in between I know it sounds a little  confusing it's going to make a little bit more sense but I need you to make sure you understand  that you do have options here one you can create your own twilio account your own mail again  account and do the setup that way two you can let high level if especially if you're starting  out like I said it's recommended that you just do that if using a third party variation of high  level they'll handle this part for you although have a variation in order for you to do that  but I need you to make sure you understand that there's choices here to do it the setup can be a  little confusing and a little annoying so that's why a lot of people just tend to go to the lead  Connector route and let that kind of be it but if you want a little bit better control or you want  a little bit better male deliverability or text message deliverability sometimes you have to go  in your own route and create your own account but the cool thing is at any given time if you want  to switch from one to the other you just got to contact support and they'll work with you in order  to make that happen but this is the easiest way to go all right so now that that's kind of explained  and I hope I did a good job of explaining that if not leave a comment I'll go into it a little bit  deeper but like I said this is the toughest part of the setup because this is where we lose most  people I'm going to go right over and I'm going to go over to settings inside the agency remember  you're you know you're inside the agency because it says agency dashboard and you go into settings  and in here you're going to go to email Services now notice I'm already here in lead connector I  already have it it's kind of already done for me um but I want to make sure you fully understand  that here is where you can set up a very dedicated domain for your business now I'm going to go over  and I'm actually going to set up the dedicated domain because I want to add a domain that's going  to be very personalized to my brand um so I will come over here uh and I'm gonna go ahead and start  this process now this is again where you're going to get a little confused but just try to follow  along it's really not that complex all you're going to do is regardless of where you're at as  far as where you're hosting your domain you're just going to basically add domain records in  order to postalize your domain if you're like hey I don't care let's you know email is not my  main function I just want to kind of have whatever the basic is then you already have it it's  lead connector it's already there for you just understand that sometimes email deliverability  is not going to be great and if that's the case you're going to want to personalize and that's  the stuff we're going to do right now which is if we're going to get a dedicated domain so I'm  going to go to cloudflare this is where I have my domains meaning wherever I bought my domain some  people use GoDaddy some people use Google domains it's going to be the same exact thing with maybe  a few little nuances that is going to be a little bit different so don't get overwhelmed all you're  literally doing is following the instructions based on what they gave you so remember all I did  was if I go back to the service right I'm just going to kind of backtrack my steps I went into  the agency and again I know my main agency because it says agencies I went into settings I went into  email Services I came in here it gives me a domain already remember you don't have to do any of this  I just want to personalize my agency and I want to personalize my personal account so I'm going to go  over here and I'm going to go to Dedicated domain and I'm going to add a domain here it's going to  ask me enter your domain name now this is my main domain automatedmarketer. com okay now the problem  with that is if I already have that existing on a website or if I'm going to plan on using that for  the funnels I can't really use it to host my mail so the way I have to do it is I have to create  what's up what's a sub domain is now a subdomain is just a really fancy word that means I'm gonna  create a little pocket inside that domain that other things can exist so the way I'm going  to do it is for instance if I wanted to create funnels dot automatedmarket.
com that is  called a sub domain if I wanted to create go dot automatedmarketer. com that's a sub domain  anytime I put a dot in front and as long as I create the records those are called sub domains  in our case for mailgun and Lead connector right we're gonna just put in and boom that's gonna  be my sub domain when I come in here and it's asking enter domain name notice that it has mg mg  was for mailgun here we're just gonna do replies dot automated because I know that I will not use  replies. automatedmarket.
com for anything else so I think it's going to be a nice little pocket  domain subdomain that I can use just for this particular you know function right so I'm going  to come in here I'm going to go and add and verify and then what it's going to do is it's going to  give me a whole bunch of records that I have to add now again everybody starts panicking not a  big deal look how easy this is it tells you the type it tells you the host name and it tells you  the values that need to be entered you're going to come over here and you're going to hit copy  and it's saying that I need a text record again very similar in GoDaddy namecheap all these  other places where you can buy domains where it gets a little complicated is if you have a  domain anywhere else in that and I got to be honest if you have a domain in your anywhere else  from that and you want to make this process super simple just buy another domain for 20 bucks  save yourself the headaches of like trying to figure all this out like crazy I'm gonna come  over here and I'm just going to hit add record go to text come in here and remember it it  asked me what's what's my route or what's my little name well I already said it's going to be  revised that's going to be my name right replies see and it's at the beginning because it's  everything before the dot that I need to worry about I'm going to come over here I copy the  other the other information and I'm just going to hit paste all right and now I created my first  record awesome see replies here's the record that it told me to put in and I'm good to go now the  second one it's going to ask me to do the same thing but this time I want to grab that's going  to be a little hard for me to remember everything before the dot in that little pot like remember  we created a little pocket and I need to grab that information there I'm going to hit add I know that  it's a text record because that's what it told me I know that the name is this very special name  here and then I'm going to come over here I'm going to hit copy and I'm going to put it in  the secondary piece right here I'm going to go ahead and hit save next I'm going to come  over to the next one it's a c name I'm going to come over here add a record come in here  C name okay and it's going to ask me for the name well again everything before the the  second the dot before automated marketer come over here paste that it's this record come  in there boom that's set and I turn that orange Cloud off that's good now I come into the next  one it's an MX record it's a little bit different it's now got a 10 and a reply so let's see what it  looks like I'm going to come over here add record I'm going to go to MX come in here  and it's going to be replies copy that paste it it's gonna ask me for a mail server  I know that this is the value right here copy that I'm gonna paste it and then it asks  for a priority which we saw was a priority of 10. so I'm going to come over here and  put in 10. go back if it replies copy oh we're going to go ahead and save that let  me do it again because they've asked for two of these I'm going to hit add record and Max come  over here grab the replies remember everything before the dot or you can just type it in make  it easier then it's asking me for the mail server the first one was a this one's going to be B I'm  going to copy that come over here paste and again the priority was a 10.
and now I'm gonna go 10  and I'm gonna hit save all right so I have my two MX records right here I have my domain key I  know that it is because it literally says domain key and it's got the real crazy funky one thing in  here I have the replies and then I have my SPF and then I have my email um my email cname which is  the mailgun one and I made sure that the orange cloud is off awesome I'm gonna come over here  and I'm going to hit verify domain sometimes it takes a minute see how some turn green don't get  frustrated sometimes this goes back and forth a couple times sometimes you got to walk away for  a little bit for a little bit like three to five minutes and just keep hitting verify until all  green check marks are showing just like this all right a little craziness but now everything is  there I have my reply so I have my mail that now I can use in my sub account remember I did this  at the agency level but now I have the ability of selecting this when I go into my regular account  now what I'm gonna do is I'm going to go right into the phone systems now I gotta be honest like  I told you before I'm just gonna switch over to lead connector so when you click on phone systems  you notice that it has the twilio ability here where you're going to put in the twilio accounts  ID we're going to skip that and we're going to go straight to lead connector which is super easy for  you to do and again boom you're already there and it's going to ask hey do you want to use this  and you're going to say yes use lead connector system it automatically gave me some account  IDs it managed to lead Connector phone system it's all done for me I didn't have to go through  the whole entire thing there are some things that we're gonna have to do inside the sub account but  I'm going to show you how to do that right now so now what I'm going to do is now that I have my  email and I have my phone system all set up I am ready to rock and roll inside my sub account I'm  going to go to my main account I'm gonna go to my DMV media right that's the one I connected and  you're going to notice that if I go in here again now I know I'm in my sub account because it says  Launchpad dashboard it has all this other stuff now I can actually go all the way to down to the  bottom and if I go to email services boom look what's here replies at automatedmarketer. com the  one I set up I'm good I don't have to do anything else I can start sending emails right away I can  start sending emails right away but I know that it's set the next thing that I'm going to do is go  back and actually not go back but go right in here and check out my phone numbers and I notice that  it's connected by lead connected and then all I have to do is add a phone number come in here pick  the area code I want to be in Search and it should come up with a bunch of numbers now to be clear  remember you're paying per text message but it's like such a little minimal amount it's point zero  zero zero one cent uh or three cents or whatever it is and plus there's a monthly fee for the line  that you pick that will automatically be charged to whatever the amount is so if you're paying the  97 plan you'll see like an extra fee just for your usage here I'm not going to go ahead and select  it because I already have this all set up because we are going to move to my other account just so  then you can see how the rest of the setup will go but then you already have your lead connector  you can still select the number once you select the number it's going to be automatically here and  I'm going to go deep into this cool once you come in here and you select your number like we just  talked about there is this trust Center thing that you need to do so when you do that you're going to  go over to your left because you're going to be in the settings area because you're going to have  access to all this you're going to go over the left hand side and you're going to go to business  profile in order for that to work you need to fill out everything of here all of your business  and street address information all your other personal information your business information  here and your authorized representative which is going to be you it's going to ask you for your  registration number your business registration ID and then everything else you can hold off for  now but those are the most important parts because then once you're done setting all this up for  your individual information what you're going to do is you're going to hit the go back button go to  settings again go to phone numbers and then you'll be able to submit this for a review if you don't  do that then what will happen is your phone number will start pending uh meaning that it doesn't have  the information to allow you to keep doing the service you need to make sure you do this because  if not you're going to get blocked since we have already a lot of this sofa what we're going to do  is we're going to add a domain inside of our high level count so the next thing is going over to  the left hand side and inside of the left hand side you're going to go over to settings inside  of settings you're going to go all the way to domain trust me when I say that if you have your  domain existing in a WordPress site or any other site it's just best to buy another domain reason  being is a lot of people will get caught up on the sub domains and all these other issues and  plus you kind of almost want to get just grab a similar domain so for instance if your domain is  nuno. com then just grab gonuno.
com or something that's very similar to your actual domain to build  your funnels all in it's just going to cause a lot less confusion it's going to be easier for you to  to kind of just get it started because all you're really going to do is add the record now all that  means is that I'm going to give instructions to the internet that the domain has got to come into  here so what I'll do next is I'll go to GoDaddy cloudflare and wherever it is I'll go to where  it says DNS or manage DNS records and I'll go to the actual records area and in here and I'm using  cloudflare some people have GoDaddy or namecheap it's really the same process because all you are  doing is going to be adding one record to this process so what I'm going to do is I'm going to  come over here and now that I was in domains after I clicked on settings I'm going to hit add new  domain and the instructions are literally right here so what you're going to do is for instance I  want to add this automated automatedmarketer. com that's going to be the domain I want to move over  I'm going to hit copy I'm going to come over here and it could be any domain like again this is  just the one I had available just to kind of move it through the process a little bit quicker  and it says please make sure to have an a record pointing to this address so I'm going to  come over here I'm going to highlight this copy it come back over here add a record and it  said remember I gotta add an a record whether it's GoDaddy namecheek for any other ones you're  going to be able to select which kind of record it is so the type is going to be an a record  the name is going to be the at symbol as long as you're not using a subdomain now remember in  order to avoid all this kind of confusion just go buy another domain that's very similar to your  current name and then over here you're going to just paste down the uh the actual instructions  that it said which is please make sure to have either an a record pointed to 34.
