How I ACTUALLY Make MONETIZABLE YouTube Podcast SHORTS

stop creating YouTube shorts using AI only my YouTube shorts Channel where I post podcast Clips just stopped getting views and here's why you see about a month ago I uploaded a video on this channel on how I made 100 podcast shorts in less than 10 minutes using AI hoping to crack the YouTube shorts algorithm go viral and start making that easy YouTube money but boy was I wrong because after posting the first few Clips I got over 200k views on the channel and all of a sudden every single new shorts I uploaded just stopped getting

views at after the first 10 or 20 views at first I thought it was the normal YouTube shorts algorithm at work because usually at a point a new shorts Channel normally stopped getting views due to the YouTube algorithm trying to figure out the best audience to show the Channel's videos to but little did I know that wasn't actually the case for my channel you see I continued posting day after day after day but you guessed it nothing changed however since I already run some shorts channels before I knew something was wrong because it is unusual

to stop getting views all of a sudden especially at the point where your channel has just started blowing up so I decided to go back to the drawing board to find out what I was doing wrong and Lord behold I actually figured it out you see unlike my other channel in this Niche where I put in the work to edit my shorts with this channel I only used AI to generate those shorts by just copying a podcast link from YouTube and pasting it on one of those shorts generating AIS without adding any of my own

personal touches I mean all I do is just get the clips from the AI and then upload them on YouTube in bulk which at the end of the day results in a very low average view duration which is one of the most valuable stats that YouTube uses to determine whether to push your shorts to a wider audience or not as a matter of fact here are screenshots of one of the clips from the AI Channel versus the one from the channel where I made the videos by myself as you can see the AI generated podcast

channel has an avd in other words average view duration of around 52% which I guess made it get very low views of around 70 whereas the one I edited by myself got a very high avd of around around 73% and pulled in over 118,000 views from just that video alone so what this means is that at a point in that AI generated clip viewers got bored and clicked off because it wasn't as interesting whereas the one I edited by myself kept viewers glued to their screens almost throughout the video so After figuring that out I

decided to delete the video I uploaded on this channel about how you can use AI to make YouTube shorts and since my aim is to always produce helpful videos for you guys I decided to replace it with this one where I will be guiding you through how to create engaging podcast shorts that get millions of views and of course can be monetized and to even make it easier I won't be using any advanced editing software like Adobe premere Pro or after effects I will only be using capcut which means whether you are using a PC

or a smartphone you can literally follow these steps to create your own viral podcast clips and if you watch this video to the end I'll be showing you the secret strategy I use to grow my podcast shorts channel from 0 to over 10K Subs in less than 30 days so let's get started first what we need is a podcast video to get this head over to YouTube and search for a podcast of your preferred celebrity for me I'm going with Mr Beast but you can use someone like Elon Musk Joe Rogan or any other public

figures then filter the result to this month or this year because you want to use something recent then find a podcast that you like now copy the link of the video and head over to a website called streamable so what this website does is that instead of you downloading the full podcast it lets you cut out just the part you need for your video to use it you want to First go back to YouTube and watch the podcast then take note of the most interesting Parts which you want to use for your video then go

back to streamable and paste in the link now you want to trim it to the part you noted was interesting just make sure it's not more than 60 seconds long once that is done click on where it says create video and just like that the part you want to use will be trimmed out for you now you want to download the clip to do that we will be using another website called streamable DL just go back to streamable copy the link of your clip then paste it here in streamable DL click on start and then

download it once downloaded the next step is to edit the clip and turn it into something very engaging for shorts as promised I'll be using cap cut but feel free to use any of your preferred editing software now once you're on cap cut just import your clip then drag it onto your timeline now you want to change the aspect ratio of the video to 99116 since we're creating shorts now pay attention here because you want to listen through and take note of all the important statements what I mean is that you want to get a

full understanding of what your clip is all about for me Mr Beast is talking about his most viral video ever on YouTube so we need to be creative here because we want to mix things up for instance for this clip since Mr Beast is talking about his viral videos I can literally take screenshots of those videos he is talking about and add them to my clip all I just need to do is identify the videos he is talking about then then go to his channel and then screenshot them once that is done I'll import them

to cap cut and then drag them over the podcast Clips by now you probably would be thinking what if you're not using Mr B's podcast don't worry here's the solution say for instance you're using Elon Musk podcast where he is talking about AI you can literally go to a free stock footage website like pexels download footage of AI and then use it and if he is talking about something else just search for what it is and use it now with that done we want to make sure the screenshots or footage are actually placed in the

right place on the clip to do that gently listen to the clip and adjust the screenshots to the appropriate positions by dragging them either forward or backward now you want to make sure the background of where the screenshots appear is blurred to do that first you want to move your playhead to the beginning of the screenshot then click on the podcast clip and click here to split the clip then move your playhead once again to the end of the screenshot and then clip on the split option again and just like that the podcast is split

now to make it blur just go to the effect section and look for the blur effect then drag it onto the split clip now you want to do that for the rest of the screenshots as well once that is done now you want to make sure you add some animation to the screenshots I recommend something like zoom in zoom out or swings cap cut has a lot of different animations just play around with them and find out what works better for your Clips then after applying it you should get something like this and note in

some parts especially at the beginning middle and end make sure you're showing the Celebrity Face talking just to make it more engaging once that is done the next step now is to add captions to your clip for this we will be using a feature inside cap cut called autoc caption just head over to the text area click on where it says autoc caption and then click on create after a few seconds your captions will be ready now you want to edit it to look more catchy to do that just click on one of the captions

and in the top right corner click on where it says template then play through and pick the one you like although I'd recommend the ones that pop because all these little elements are what will make the clip more engaging next you want to reduce the size of the text if it's too long and also change the fonts if you'd like you can also play around with the colors if you don't like the default one from the template once that is done now we want to add some sound effects to the clips you see one key

element that makes shorts more engaging is sound effects I mean the clip will look so boring if the only thing viewers see is just texts and images and obviously this is one of the things that the AI generate shorts lacks which made it have a very low average view duration so to add sound effects to your clip first you want to take note of where your screenshots or footage comes in and probably emojis if you use one now move your playhead to the beginning of the first screenshot then go to the audio section and click

on where it says sound effects then play through and go with the one that's perfect for the transition you can also search for something like Bell ding or swoosh as they do well too once added try and adjust them a little to make sure the effect comes up at the right time now you want to do so for the rest of the screenshots till the end of the clip with all that done your video is now ready so the next step is to export it and wait that's not all remember I promised at the beginning

of this video to show you how to make your shorts go viral now let me unveil the secret you see just like Tik Tok YouTube shorts Favors videos that use trending music on their platform so while uploading your shorts make sure you use your phone so that you can use a sound from the one YouTube recommends for you also you want to use hashtags that are relevant to your clip for instance since we just created a Mr Beast clip we can use something like Mr Beast and Mr Beast editing and so on another thing is

that don't use too many hashtags in your shorts just two or at most three is okay with that said let's take a look at the shorts we just created the second most viewed YouTube video non music and uh YouTube history in 24 hours so the most viewed video in 24 hours is when uh Will Smith SLA Chris Rock I think that got 48 like 2 million views in 24hour Period before that it was our squid game video but now our squid game video is number two I hope you enjoyed it if so make sure you
