hi I'm Bruna mzini and I'm going to show you everything that makes me really proud to be Brazilian we're going to eat some food I'm going to teach you some slangs and some of the best places to [Music] visit when you go to Rio there's a lot of yummy food that you have to try so we have I it's really really yummy it's like how can I just give me second all so good this is um fried cassava it's similar to Yuka it's under the same umbrella shasco is the Brazilian barbecue so if you go
to aash karia then you can have this as a starter you say I want some M or I'm being for that's what they're going to give you and you're going to love it for sure this is Kos basically it's filled with chicken shredded shanken and kupii or heon it's a Brazilian type of cheese I think it it would be similar to cream cheese but better I'm sorry okay so I'm going to do this for y'all so this is what it looks like inside I know after walking around in Rio you should order a Kush and
have it with Guana the Brazilian soda perfect M mhm ooh I'm sorry I'm just so you don't understand how happy I am Jesus if you go to a kids party you're going to have Kos and a bunch of saos that's how we call it so there's the meat one there's the hii the impas they're similar to empanadas or it doesn't have to be a kids party I'm I'm lying if you go to one of my parties you're going to find Kos and if you go to Brazil you need to try a kyia the OG is
made with lemons and kasasa I want to say it's like a rum a Brazilian rum it's made of sugar cane let's see that's good that's actually good not super strong not super sweet that's great for me the best skyting A vibe is during a fada fada is like this really typical it's not only a dish it's a ritual that involves a lot of beans rice pork and there's kovi which is kale but it's prepared in a Brazilian way you can go to a place to have a f fada or like a friend will invite you
so if you go to Brazil talk to me I'll invite you to a fuada in my place involves SBA and a lot of music so it really feels like a ritual and it's a Sunday or Saturday type of thing I'm really surprised that La has really good Brazilian food and I'm I'm happy for you I'm really happy for you I am amazing let want to the next section no we're not what no I have my guy beting [Music] you but I'm inviting people to BR I'm like there's a lot to see so I'll try to
show you some of my favorite places to go so I'm from Rio right here but we're going to talk about Rio later one of my favorite places to go to is by Baya everything about it it's magical it has a lot of African influence so the food is different the culture is different the music is different New Years they're like a big thing for Brazilians we like to wear wh it's a big ritual and New Year's in Bay it's a lot of fun carnival in Baya is amazing you should definitely go to Baya and Rio
completely different type of parties it's all Carnival but it's really different s Pao a lot of people go to S Pao it's like one of the most famous States in Brazil I would say s Paulo it's like the New York of Brazil while Rio is the LA of Brazil I hope Brazilians don't come after me after say this if you go to Brazil please just spend a year move to Brazil what are you doing if you're not living in Brazil I think most of the stuff that we're going to talk about it's in the city
of Rio so hio is a beautiful city there's this place called Pedra davia I don't love hiking but if you do like if you like hiking you should definitely go to Pedra davia and you'll get a beautiful view of the city when you get there kak kabana Beach you've heard singers singing about it singing about IA Beach almost like it's all one beach right next to each other so we have leab that's the right pronunciation by the way it's Copa how do you guys say iTab Copa Cabana Copa Cabana okay I'll accept Copa Cabana or
iima but it's kopa Cabana so when you're trying to find a friend that is at the beach he's going to ask like what po you're next to basically there are sections and there's a number for every section so you're going to be like I'm next to the PO n the so it's easier to find your friends the place I'm living at right now it's close to like a gay section and I love it it's always a lot of fun I have friends that only go to a certain po I like the food I like the
type of people I like the vibe and one thing that is really different from La we have a lot of food at the beach not only food like you can buy almost everything at the beach i' never heard of a person that didn't feel welcomed in Brazil we really offer like our best but also it's not that hard to get on our bedside one thing you should not do is is mention how dangerous you think it is I feel like every place in the world is it's different and it has like the bad part and
the good part it's a safe really amazing country and you're definitely going to have a great time just go with an open heart and you'll be fine if you're planning on spending some time in Brazil or in Rio you're going to to hear certain Expressions you're not going to understand they're going to make no sense like this one moaka MO is hand vodka is cow cow's hand it's for stingy person so and I guess it's because vakas they don't have hands so they their hands are like they're closed so they don't let go of the
money so this is the regular a right and if you add a chew on top of it it gives you the M sounds make sense Mo without it it would be ma with it it's [Applause] MOA to step on the ball it means like when you do something wrong I'm sorry guys ball like I yeah I I was not supposed to do this I really think it's related to soccer because we're so obsessed with soccer that it's like oh my gosh you stepped on the ball you idiot a a how do I translate aaz aaz
it's like you nailed it you did it girl a but aazah what is the definition of aaz in Portuguese I don't know you'll have to Google it if you want to get to know more about Brazil it's important to know the people that made Brazilian culture so incredible so I'm going to introduce you to a few icons let's start with Anita Anita is a Brazilian singer number one on Spotify blah blah blah all that she sings pop music and a lot of Brazilian Funk Brazilian funky it's different than just Funk that Brazilian Funk is like
twerk music it's party music you're going to go out and you're going to shake your ass and Anita is the queen of that in Brazil like Anita is one icon and her butt it's another yeah and she's also one of my friends that I'm really proud of and it's really great to see her accomplishing great things inside and outside of the country and also don't don't even come like with the the excuse oh but I don't speak Portuguese she sings in Portuguese Spanish and English so you have no excuse come on don't disappoint me this
is jizel bin that's how we say her name okay that's how her mom probably says her name nicest human being involved with so many like good causes like NOS she's really vocal about everything she believes probably you've seen her in the Victoria Secrets fashion shows and on the cover of every single magazine okay this is Brazilian royalty okay this is taaru one of my favorite actors she is married to also one of our greatest actors Lazar hush I I would say they're like Beyonce and Jay-Z I grew up doing what D does and did 4
years I did my first so Opera when I was seven soap operas are huge in Brazil and I think I did like 13 14 soap operas and yeah Tha was always an inspiration we used to work at the same company that is the biggest TV channel in Brazil that is called Global I'm so glad that I I got the opportunity to know her I just got to say that this lady right here this is our meral strip so just do yourself a favor and Google one of the greatest actors in the entire world Oscar nominee
just that cuz I could talk for hours about thank you so much for watching I hope you had as much fun as I did and I hope to see you soon in Brazil bye
