LOKI Deleted Scene: Loki’s History with Hercules Revealed!

welcome back to New rockstars I'm Eric Boss and a long lost deleted scene from Loki has finally been Unearthed from the upcoming Loki steelbook /d release that confirms that Loki in the MCU has crossed paths with a number of key figures that up until now we did not know about including Hercules that's Brett goldstein's son of Zeus who will someday fight or team up with Thor Amora AKA enchantress as well as Crusher creel the absorbing man and several others that help fill in the missing pieces of Marvel's most interesting Mischief maker and because it's our

mission here at new rockstars to take a completionist approach and break down everything produced by Marvel Studios we cannot leave this slice of key lime pie UNG gobl rule the clip you know what I forgot some come How can there be more no there are so many people who said I was the problem okay Nick Fury Eric Selvig bore ly Amora I mean Jane Foster Darcy Lewis Maria Hill we're going back a few years but they're all there heimdal vandel volag Hogan heimdal you just said that heimdal was a big one he got very upset

still you can't repeat it it's memorable absorbing man what about Donald Blake they say him Donald Blake is who Thor pretends to be when he goes to Earth speaking of which Hercules another big guy that was a big problem for him okay so this is considered a deleted scene Disney has from time to time released entire seasons and entire series as separate steelbook releases because people realize they actually want physical media which is a very good thing and these often come with extra bonus features like deleted scenes which means we sometimes get these random releases

months and years later but we have to note that deleted SCS occupy a gray area when it comes to their canonicity it's okay to consider them Canon to the MCU until a future MCU movie or series episode explicitly contradicts the scene at which point we have to kind of just let go of them and consider them like a draft of the scene like there is a reason why they were deleted in the case of a deleted scene versus a very unclear implication from a Marvel filmer series left vague in the runtime of the content but

then maybe interpreted a certain way by the director or a writer or someone who worked on the project then it's really up to us in that instance or up to whatever Marvel Studios executive says is true really am referring to last year's steelbook release of the deleted scene from the Falcon the Winter Soldier that established that James rhods was replaced by the squirrel raava recently after the events of Avengers endgame as opposed to the vague and undefined timeline of the finale episode of secret Invasion that did not explicitly State when Roi was taken by the

Scrolls and only showed him in a medical gown the director of secret Invasion claimed that his interpretation was that Ro was taken after Civil War when he was hospitalized but that would mean that the roie of infinity war in endgame was actually a scroll during those scenes and Marvel viewers obviously hated that idea so I think it's okay to consider the deleted the Falcon the Winter Soldier scene to be Canon and until a future Marvel Studios title comes out that contradicts what comes up in this Loki mobus scene I think it's okay to consider it

to be MCU Cannon as well so let's break down what we learned from it and from where it was removed this scene would have come in Loki season 2 episode 2 breaking Brad when Mobius and Loki go to the TVA automat just around the corner from ob's desk in the lower level of the TVA to grab a slice of keyme pie and really calm down after an intense interrogation session with X5 AKA Brad Loki season 2 episode 2 if you remember was one of the otter episodes from the second season when we first watched it

we felt that there might have been quite a few sequences reworked or just removed from the first half of the episode as well as the final sequence because Loki and Mobius suddenly show up in London in the 1970s and it's not immediately clear why they're there Brad was a TVA Hunter who served the Rogue General docs and he knew where Sylvie was but he selfishly pursued his sacred timeline life as a' 70s movie star Brad wolf which was a reference to the Marvel Comics villain Brad wolf an actor who was possessed by a demonic Force

known as zaniac Loki and Mobius found him at a zaniac movie premiere and bring him back to the TVA for questioning where Brad criticizes Loki for his past villainy and calls him a hypocrite see everything you and Sylvie have ever done to try to help has only ever made it worse is that right problem is you think you're special but you're not so it doesn't matter what outfit you put on at the end of the day you just make everything worse movus ends up having enough with Brad's insults and gives him a open-handed slap which

in this scuffle leads to m and Loki finding the TVA automat eating some key lime pie cooling off really having seen Brad in his sacred timeline life reminds Loki of when he was eating things up as a god of Mischief you remember that time I was so angry with my father and my brother I went down to earth and I held the whole of New York City hostage with an alien Army tried to use the mindstone on Tony star it didn't work so I threw him off the building Loki asks Mobius if he was ever

curious about his sacred timeline life and mobus says that he doesn't want to know especially if it was a good life because he doesn't want to feel like he's missing out on anything it's sets up mob's eventual Destiny on the show to live as a father and a jet ski salesman in Ohio by the end of the series but in this scene they pivot back to how best to get answers out of X5 Brad he wants more time to be Brad wolf now we just have to find a way to get him to admit it

Avengers 2012 so he really only knows the life that led up to that point in history so Nick Fury obviously Loki fought him in the Battle of New York down to the Project Pegasus base and on the shield Helicarrier later they had the wonderful exchange recurring throughout the film an ant has no quarrel with a boot an boot Eric svig obviously Loki mind controlled him and Avengers 2012 we saw the origins of that influence back in the Thor post credit scene but officially Loki is doing this using the mindstone of the scepter and I always

found it interesting in this scene that Loki knows that he was using the mindstone to try to control these people he knows he had one of the Infinity Stones and in my opinion that was a new revelation because before it's possible that he just thought Thanos gave him a scepter that was very powerful and might not have been told what was in it but no this Loki know that in addition to having the space Stone in the Tess act he also had his hands on the mindstone he knows how close he got now bore is

a very interesting one bore is the name of Odin's father who was shown in a 2988 BC flashback that opened Thor the Dark World in the battle with Malaki Over The Ether it's interesting that Loki's Foster grandfather bore considered him a problem child and establishes some household tension in Loki's childhood when he was taken in by Odin as a Ward and bour might have been just kind of an all Father Figure or one of those who sit above in Shadow who spoke to his son Odin and was like get that kid out of our house

and I just think it shows why Loki was always closer to frga than he was to Odin because remember we also learned in what if season 2 that frga was not hel's mother and that Odin had some other partner before frga Who Bore Hela so really both frga and Loki felt like sorcerer additions to Odin's family unit as opposed to people who were there when it started now Loki also mentions Laie who is Loki's biological father one of the frost Giants of yodenheim which is really the origin of his surname laon and I think he's

really just referring to everything that Loki and ly went through in the 2011 Thor film when Loki was trying to bridge the bifrost and smashed in through yodenheim to set out on that Conquest now Amora is very interesting Amora is enchantress the original enchantress the second enchantress is Sylvie luson who was given Powers by Loki when he created her as a tool for chaos in the dark rain Young Avengers number one comic and she models herself on the original enchantress Amora Sylvia lusin was partly the inspiration for Sylvie in the Loki series but Loki mentioning

Amora here indicates that he had some past fling I'm guessing with this Asgardian enchantress that might have inspired his affinity for Sylvie when he meets her in Loki season 1 Jane Foster Darcy Lewis obviously Loki knows them from the events of the 2011 Thor film in New Mexico Maria Hill Loki remembers as Nick Fury's Shield Deputy in The Avengers 2012 events and I actually wonder if Maria getting mentioned here might have been why the scene was cut because Maria Hill of course was uner ciously killed off earlier in 2023 in secret Invasion and it's probably

the worst story decision Marvel Studios has made in recent years fandral of course a member of The Warriors 3 played by Zachary Levi in Thor of the Dark World and in Thor Ragnarok but back in 2011's Thor directed by Kenneth Brana he was played by Josh Dallas bolag and Hogan also members of The Warriors 3 interesting that Loki does not mention lady Sith even though she very much considered him a problem as we saw in that Loop sequence in season one of Loki but he just is like afraid to bring her up now because hey

some version of her might be walking around the TVA and he just doesn't want to Beetlejuice her into this automat he mentions heimall of course the guardian of the bifrost The Watchman of Asgard who was at odds with Loki in the 2011 Thor film now absorbing man very interesting mention this is Carl Crusher creel a boxer who can absorb the powers of those nearby creel actually appeared an Agents of Shield and he was approached by Hydra to participate in Project destroyer of worlds creel also gets mentioned in Netflix's Daredevil season 1 episode 2 as a

boxer that Rosco and silk set up Jack Murdoch to fight but he never comes up again in Daredevil in the comics Carl creel received his powers from Loki so that he could challenge Thor and was carrying a ball and chain weapon that received the same duplication Powers as Loki had creel also goes on to marry Titania a version of whom we see in the shehulk series so Marvel Studios with this mention is establishing the existence of Carl creel in the MCU somewhere is it the crusher cre that we saw in agent of shield is it

the cre that got mentioned in that past episode of Daredevil we will see Loki also mentions Donald Blake which is of course the Mortal Alter Ego that Thor uses in the comics when he disguises milaner but he doesn't really use this in the MCU where all the characters are just kind of like public figures the Thor movies do reference Donald Blake a few ways though as the name of a doctor that Jane Foster used to date who was apparently good with patience but bad with relationships and Thor wears one of his old shirts and SV

gets Thor released from custody by posing him as Donald Blake Thor also hides mire as an umbrella and Thor Ragnarok if you remember and lastly Hercules who might be the most important name that Loki mentions in the scene Hercules of course is the son of Zeus who is tasked by his father to hunt down and kill the god of thunder in the post credit scene of Thor love and thunder when he was played by Brett Goldstein it used to be that being a god meant something people would whisper your name before sharing the deepest hopes

and dreams They begged you for Mercy without ever knowing if you were actually listening now you know they look to this Sky they don't ask us for lightning they don't ask us for rain they just want to see what one of their so-called superheroes when did we become the joke no no more they will fear us again when Thor odinson falls from the sky do you understand me ules do you understand me my son yes Father it's now interesting to hear Loki talk about these people because he is currently the god of Stories of the

MCU and likely has his own gained perspective on what it means to be a God is it to be respected and bowed to to have your name whispered in reverence or is it to just be kind of like a master clockworker who is never seen who Bears the burdens of taking care of Mortals without asking for any acknowledgement and return Thor is the current Target of Hercules and the gods of omnipotent City but Loki formerly occupied that spot as the god of mischief and that history is an enemy at Hercules I think will make the

god of stories eager to provide Aid to his adopted brother Thor in whatever conflict with Hercules that might be coming up because he would feel guilty that his brother figure is now taking on that burden and it actually could lead up to Why Thor is crying in that future scene shown in Deadpool and Wolverine we also need to remember that in Loki season 2 episode 3 at the Chicago World's Fair in 1893 Loki recognized the wooden carving outside the Norway Pavilion that depicted balder the brave who at this point we know was played by Daniel

Craig as the additional member of the universe 838 Illuminati in Multiverse of Madness and balder is Thor's half brother so now we are getting a sense of a fuller family under the house of Odin there was Odin frigga Thor and Loki but also involved in this drama was balder and Hercules and Amora and ghostly Grandpa boar and there's a whole corner of stories that exist now in the MCU where all these adults could Collide so I ask you who do you want to see play amora in the MCU and who would you like to see
