The Miraculous Story of Fatima, Portugal: Exploring the House of Lucia, Jacinta, & Francisco

foreign [Music] a city called Fatima in Portugal and it's one of the most religious sites here and this is the house of Lucia and I will explain a little bit later what happened here so this is the information office right there if you want to pick up a map or ask it questions and uh and here is the the remaining ruins of this house so this place back in 1916 and 1917 an apparition of Mary appeared to three Shepherd children for six times over the course of of six months and now I am walking toward

the the back of this place where where there is a well over there and that well is where the second operation of an Angel appeared to Lucia Lucia is one of those three Shepherd children and she died in February 13 2005. you can Google her and you will find a lot of information about her and this is where the second operation appeared right here this is the well there and the other two children their names are Francisco and jacinta Francisco died at age 11. and jacinta died at age 10. at age 10. so Lucia is

the only one who survived until 2005 and she had a lot of stories to tell so I'm gonna go now go now walk toward the uh the house of uh Francisco and just jacinta and unfortunately the the house of Lucia is closed for maintenance so this is the entrance of the house no she house right there and right outside just across the street there is a beautiful small souvenir shop right there [Music] so this is the ruins of the house that are still intact to this day and right there is the information center you can

pick up a map and and if you have any questions you can ask here and also they have public toilet there so it's pretty small village and there is a big Basilica that about five minutes drive from where I am that's where I'm headed next so I am on my way now to the house of Francisco and jacinta and it's like a two minute walk from each other be uh somewhere here and I think this is the house of San Francisco NASA Francisco I should say Francisco [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] beautiful backyard just outside

Francisco and jacinta house thank you this is another big souvenir shop just right outside Francisca house so I'm gonna go now to The Basilica it's about five minute drive from where I am right now or you can walk for about 25 minutes to get there if you don't have a car we will go now and explore that place [Music] [Music] I found my way to the Basilica here in Fatima and it's about five minute drive from the house of loshia right there so I'm gonna go inside there are the tombs of Lucia Francisco and jacinta

there and right off to the left that is the Chapel of the apparitions and that's where the the three Shepherd children reported the uh the operation of the Blessed uh Mary right right here that's where the exact location happened there so this small Chapel was constructed in 1919 and again in 1920 to Mark the exact location of the apparitions and the whole complex is not that old so this one was probably built after 1920 so this city is famous because of that apparitions and if you can Google something called The Miracle the sun Miracle the
