hassel's Labyrinth is an SSS rank dungeon touted as one of the seven most difficult labyrinths in the world secret and ancient Treasures lie dormant in these labyrinths just waiting to be taken Ray's Party Gino recently cleared an A- rank dungeon and has thus earned the right to challenge a brassel labyrinth each member of Team Gino is a formidable unit the Black Mage the witch fail the sword saintess and enchantress Amino the musclebound and slightly mentally unhinged sug and The Fearless lead who excels in virtually every category Loki the last member of the party is Ry

a White Mage healer sug noticing that amino's leg is injured asks Ry to heal her despite her refusing Aid Ray hurries over and casts his healing spell on hino's leg but he quickly collapses moments later Ray shrugs him off and kicks him down this is his fatal problem as a White Mage Loki approaches Ray and feeds him a FTI reducing item his condition improves but he feels sorry that Loki had to use such a precious item on him Ry looks around and he sees the stairs of disdain from his other teammates Loki encourages Ry to

ignore them and to recover his strength Ray's limitation as a Healer is that he uses up all his magic power from using one healing spell due to his below average magic power this severely limits the number of strategies and tactics his party can employ to make matters worse his combat power is severely lacking even though Ray is clearly weak and he is aware of it himself Loki invited him to join team guino even so Ray is happy he was invited when he hurries back to his team sug complains that he's an inconvenience to have around

even though he was the one who asked him to heal Hino Loki ignoring them announces that they'll be heading to the next floor their goal is to be the first party ever to conquer EGD rasel's secret treasure they feel confident knowing that they easily cleared an A- rank dungeon not too long ago Ray resolves not to trouble his party as much as he can at that time they didn't know just how ruthless IG drael could be team gu Ino enters the 125th floor where they are nearly wiped out in a monster encounter sug is hanging

by a thread but he still has the energy to complain Loki too is feeling the pain he had severely underestimated just how big the difference was between a rank and s-rank monsters amino's endurance is also reaching its limit though fail wonders why they only encountered such powerful monsters on this floor and on this floor alone Ray is too afraid to utter a word knowing that his teammates may take out their stress on him sug is is the first to suggest retreating to the surface not wanting to take on those kinds of monsters again Amino knows

that but they have no way to return to their own power the only option they have left is to use that method the teleport Stone a treasure they found on the lower floor of the A- rank dung engine they cleared it allows the user to teleport to any location but it can only be used once Loki retrieves their party's box of teleport Stones which contains enough for all five of them Ray initially believes that Loki wants to advance as far as possible possible before using the stones but he couldn't be more wrong Loki approaches Ray

and tells him that he is banished from the party Ray can't believe what he's hearing and his mind rejects that such words could have been uttered when he asks why he's kicking him out sug throws a rock at him Amino marches up to Ry and says that she hates how he always looks at him during battles Ry looks up and amino kicks him down Ry tries to explain that he was only watching them so that he could act at a moment's notice but they aren't buying it Loki crouches down and tells Ray that he simply

isn't good enough to support them against strong monsters Ry admits that his magic power easily runs out but he claims to have made up for it in other areas such as finding the enemy's weak points gathering information and Dungeons and doing other menial chores to support the party while this may be true Loki has made up his mind everyone depends on team guino to one day defeat the demon king and if their White Mage is someone as weak as him they'll have no future Ray takes this all in and it makes him think if he's

so useless why did Loki go through the trouble of inviting him there must be a reason he asks Loki why he chose him and Loki sigh over being asked something so trivial and obvious there was no deeper meaning behind it he wanted a cheap healer he was an ear an adventurer at the time so he would have been satisfied with anything that could heal but not anymore Loki is going to get an even better White Mage someone who can actually heal more than once since their party is one of the three A- rank parties he

can have his pick of the litter Ray realizes the circumstances he in Loki intends to dump him here in the depths of igel's Labyrinth where monsters they were barely able to defeat lurk Ray desperate to stay alive clings to Loki's ankle and begs for a second chance Loki decides to give Ray a little test he stabs him in the stomach and tells him to heal himself Ray Keels over to the ground in pain while his former party members laugh at him Ray dislodges the knife from his stomach and casts heal on himself and the wound

magically closes within a matter of seconds Loki gives credit where credit is due the only impressive thing about ry's healing spell is its Speed Ray staggers to his feet he wants to show that he can still go on Loki kicks him down again he never intended to take him from the start and he's sure as hell won't use such a valuable teleport Stone on him he throws the dagger that Ray gave him as a parting gift so that he'd at least have a weapon to defend himself what a nice guy Ray recalls all the struggles

he went through just to prove himself to his party but it was all for not one of the dungeons monsters discovers Ray but his body is still fatigued and he is unable to move this might be the end Ray wonders why his life turned out this way his family was killed by monsters he became a slave and Loki bought him what a life it turned out to be the monster attacks Ray throwing him over the cliff and into an underground river Ry hears a voice calling out his name when he opens his eyes he sees

a girl with cat ears who is glad that he's finally awake Ry dumbfounded stares at her and she asks him if he's Enchanted by her cuteness Ray now knows that she's full of herself he asks for what she's doing so deep in the dungeon and what floor they're on the girl tells him to calm down and she reveals that they're on the 200th floor of EGD rasel's Labyrinth the lowest floor Ray desaires at having lost all hope of escaping the dungeon but the girl tells him that he should be able to since he claimed this

secret treasure she prods him and says that the curse of igd drael is already flowing through his veins his cursed left eye is proof of that fact his magic circuit is now completely connected to igd drael granting him an unlimited amount of magic power it's up to him to decide how to use it Ry asks the girl who she is and she introduces herself as norn Ray could have sworn that he had heard that name before norn encourages Ray to try and use his heel spell but he is hesitant to knowing what happens when he

does did this guy not hear that he's been given unlimited magic power norn tells him to use it anyway so he does any injuries heal completely without any hint of fatigue shocker norn smiles and she tells him that this is all thanks to adel's magic power she repeats that he is directly connected to it she explains that magic power usually flows from the user circuit but when Ray was swept away to the 20th floor he received ael's cursed eye which is now used as his new magic core as long as he has that eye he

can use his magic as much as he wants Ry asks how he became connected to ig Russel in the first place so nor leads him toward the spring she explains that she found him floating in the middle of the spring which she likely drank from while he was unconscious this is one of igel's secret treasures the world trees tears it is said that its Waters can resurrect even the dead they should shove a Blockbuster in there she points toward the large tree that they were resting against earlier which she explains is the trunk of igd

drasle itself and the Very foundation of the dungeon this is the place that no Adventurer has seen before and the secrets that none have touched by some Stroke of Luck and plot armor Ray has survived and obtained The Treasure of ael's Labyrinth when norn hears him mentioned that this dungeon is an SSS ranked dungeon she becomes ecstatic Ray becomes even more curious about her he asks her if she lives alone and she replies that no other humans in the dungeon live here aside from her and she's stronger than she looks Ray finds this a little

hard to believe considering she looks about 12 years old norn doesn't blame him for thinking that way either as she gets back on track she asks Ry if he wants to leave Ray looks toward igd drael knowing that he'll have to fight monsters on his way back to the surface even though he has unlimited magic power he's still just a Healer however he considers where he'd go even if he did go back to the surface he has no place to return to and no place to belong he considers just staying in igel's Labyrinth altogether staying

here and dying is probably the happiest thing he can think of right now he asks M if he can live here but she's a bit taken aback by what he just said she could have sworn that he wanted to get out of here but Ry has changed his mind he asks for what food she eats down here but she she reveals that food isn't necessary abdel's magic power supplies the necessary nutrition his body needs so he won't die of starvation or thirst he's practically near Immortal given that he doesn't fall from a great height she

warns him that being stabbed or getting his head chopped off is still going to kill him norn gives it to him straight even with his magic power supercharged he's still weak monsters still descend here from time to time and he'll need to become stronger if he wants to defeat them norn offers to teach him everything she knows Ray has found a new goal and he's going to reach it no matter what 3 years have passed and Ray is casually chilling on the 180th floor of igel's Labyrinth he's not afraid anymore and he can easily deal

with the s-rank monsters lurking around as he battles a giant poison snake Ray charges the dagger that Loki left him with and slices its tail into two he then leaps onto the snake's head apologizes to it and kills it with the giant snake defeated Ray triumphantly reports his victory to norn norn commends Ray for his victory over the lord of the 180th floor Shadow Viper Ray has become Adept at enhancing his body and knife with igel's magic power he has grown a lot since being The Little White Mage boy she found in the spring Ray

doesn't like to recall those times since he was easily defeated by small monsters the reason he was able to grow so much in such a short amount of time was because of his neurom moral body his healing power has also increased allowing him to regrow the eye he had lost norn had expected Ry to only get this strong after 100 years of training but he has truly exceeded all expectations norn remarks that Ray is almost like a monster himself and he credits her for all that she's taught him a voice in the back of Ray's

mind tells him that he's still weak the lingering remnants of his insecurities and weakness every so often he can see a child version of himself speaking to him noren says that this is a side effect of him connecting to EG drassel she warns him that igdrasil is the world tree a tree of life it may be tiing on his very life force every now and then so he should be careful not to be swallowed up by it Ry reminisces about the past 3 years while having a sparring session with norn she asks him if he's

starting to miss the outside world but he says that he's just musing about how quickly time has passed the time truly did feel like it passed by in the blink of an eye it felt like it was just yesterday that Norm was challenging him to defeat an SSS rank Monster by himself he's almost died many times in the past and he's finally become strong enough to live here Ray sees something he feels he shouldn't have and nor notices him looking away she catches him off guard feeling smug that she was able to get the better

of him here any man would have looked away in that situation after their sparring exercise they lie down on the grassy field and stare at the sky Ry asks norn if she's always been alone and she replies that normal humans don't usually make it this far she's right boss monsters like the shadow Viper would easily wipe the floor with any normal adventurers party Ray himself died several times trying to defeat it in the past he asks her if she's ever thought of leaving the dungeon but she reveals that she can't if she wanted to she

could have left long ago but she has her own reasons for staying here even so she wants to see the outside world beyond the dungeon she asks him if there's anything in particular he wants to do when he gets out and he quickly thinks of his own party he never considered joining them again and the only feelings he has for them are slight tinges of hatred norn asks him if there's anyone he wants to meet on the surface and he remembers that he does he's finally found his reason to leave he gets up and he

them a total of 2 years to return to the Sur Sur during the past 5 months they've been single-mindedly aiming for the exit Ray has been handling all the battles himself while norn just watches him struggle under the pretense of it being training norn happily recalls all the time she's watched him struggle though he really appreciate it if she actually help them out every now and then norn replies that she can laugh like that because she knows that he's never truly in trouble she also laughs about the time his clothes were soaked in saliva and

he had to handwash them by a river Ray tries to say something to her but she is distracted by a bag on the ground Ray finds the bag familiar and it is it's his bag he thought that Loki had brought it with him when he teleported out he realizes now why this place is so familiar he was dumped here norn rummages through Ray's old bag but is greatly disappointed in the lack of supplies he brought with him he had severely underestimated just how dangerous igel's Labyrinth is that aside they both prepare themselves when they hear

something big approaching it's the same monster that pushed raay to death that one one time they have some history together Ray fearlessly attacks the monster knowing that he isn't the same person he was before however Ray's attack leaves just a shallow chip on the monster's shell but that's where its defensive prow ends Ray knows that the monster is soft he charges straight into the giant turtle grabs its head and topples it over with his bare hands with the turtle's soft underbelly exposed is easy pickings for raay enhanc dagger anyone want turtle soup Ray dusts himself

off and asks norn how he did it but all she tells him to do is make friends when he goes back to the surface Ray is confused why she's saying all this out of the blue but it's because norn dislikes Ray's ride or die attitude and she feels that a group of trusted friends would make him more cautious Ry finds it hard to make friends but norn says that he can do it if he really tries she tells him that people can't live alone and that he has a long life ahead of him she wants

him to make friends so that even when she's gone he can still laugh Ry anxiously tells her not to say stuff like that but he promised is to do his best nonetheless norn is happy to hear it Ray feels like he's being treated like a child again and norn retorts that he is one Ry decides that if he does make some friends in the future he wants them to meet norn having her meet Nan would also be great he'll return here no matter what Ray and norn continue their tireless Journey to the surface traversing treacherous

Cliffs winding tunnels dense forests and resting by warm campfires eventually they make it their two-year-long Journey comes to an end as they reach reach the surface they finally arrived n's job is done and she wishes Ray good luck on the next leg of his journey Ry asks norn if he really can't come with her even though she knows that he knows her circumstances already she spells it out for him her body is created by the aura and energy of IG dressel's Labyrinth her real body perished long ago if she were to leave the dungeon her

connection to the dungeon's magic would Sever and she would disappear Ry apologizes for making her say something so depressing but norn just wishes that he'd hurry up and go already however she tells him to visit her from time to time because even Immortal magic ghosts can get lonely Ray promises not to return one day and if he makes some friends he'll introduce them to her too norn hopes that he is fun Ray turns around and waves goodbye to the only friend he's known and to the place he's called home for the past 3 years it's

been 5 years in total since he's seen the outside world and he's both eager and anxious to see what has changed he's back Ray takes in the fresh air and the Wide Open Sky the dungeon exit closes behind him meaning he'll have to enter through the original entrance he thanks mourn one last time before deciding to head to a village to gather information and money he smells something horrid in the air and he thinks it's in at first but it's not his body odor it's the smell of blood and monsters a kingdom Knight is cut

in two as a Lizardman stretches his neck it's nothing personal he was just told to eat every human he came across the Lizardman was given one order by one of the four demon Executives take down the capital they were to eat all the humans they came across as they were weak and unnecessary in their world they repeatedly raided pillaged and beat them all in best of five Super Smash Bros matches it was a Slaughter however they're still lacking the necessary supplies they need so they need to kill more steal more eat more killing humans is

just way too fun for our Lizardman as the lone Knight sees the devastation that his Caravan has suffered he recognizes the Lizardman before him a single Brown horn and a giant war axe the trademarks of vgan the B rank human Hunter vigan is almost pleased that he's become this famous he greedily eyes the supplies of the Kingdom Caravan eager to sink his claws into its riches he swings his axe on the pile revealing a girl hiding within she too will make for a scrumptious prize vigan turns his gaze back onto the Knight surprised that there

are only three of them in the carriage that isn't unexpected considering that he's been attacking these roads so often the Knight runs away he knows that he can't defeat vigan but he can the the very least warn his higher-ups about him vigan won't let him he brings his massive axe crashing downward removing all hope of the night informing his higher command vigan stares at the pitifully weak night the fight was boring and dull he returns his attention to the girl in chains remarking that men taste bad anyway she on the other hand looks delicious he

proclaims that he will make her his pet before eating her he loves that look of fear on her face he tells her that many of his slaves were the same fearing for their own lives and willing to do anything to stay alive the demon beasts start feasting on the remains of the guards the one thing vgan loves more than a face full of fear is a face that has been betrayed the girl begs for her life and vigan remarks that he'll make her wish that she died instead Ray pops out of the bushes and wishes

them both a fine afternoon lovely weather we're having Ry explains that he's lost and was hoping that the girl could guide him to a nearby Village vigan politely tells him that she's occupied at the moment but he realizes that he didn't even sense Ray approaching him vigan's nose is sharp despite ry's otherwise unremarkable experience he can smell the thick stench of Monster Blood on his clothes the girl tells Ry that he should run away otherwise vigan will kill him she urges him to escape while vigan is aiming for her vigan notices the alof expression on

reay's face but decides not to leave any Witnesses he comes up with a brilliant idea he'll attack Ray from behind and bring the girl to despair he can't wait to see the look on her face vigan pretends to let Ray go while forcing the girl to stay unexpectedly Ray simply says okay and he starts walking away that didn't go according to plan but nothing that viden can't adjust around he hefts his axe and throws it at Ry the girl tries to warn him but the axe can't be dodged at this rate Ray's body falls apart

like a set of bowling pins vigan just scored two strikes in a row Ray's body bits roll into the bushes while the girl can't believe vigan's mercilessness that's the face that vigan's been waiting for he marches over to Ray's body and picks up Ray's body only for his own head to be lopped off everything's going upside down vigan gasps back into life he felt for sure that he had been killed Ry asks him how that felt vigan glares at Ry whose body is now back together in one piece he asks him what he did to

him and Ray bluntly replies that he killed him and resurrected him using his heal skill vgan is a ruthless warlord but he's no idiot the power that Ray displayed is unbelievable and defies the laws of magic he'll die if he tries to fight him every fiber in vgan is screaming M to run but fear grips his legs making him unable to move even if he does run he'd only be killed by the Four Deadly demons as a coward vigan is more afraid of his bosses than he is of some human so he deludes himself into

attacking Ray he's destroyed countless Villages killed countless holy Knights he can certainly kill a no-name human vigan's axe arm flies off his body Ray looks at vgan dead in the eye and asks him if he knows just how outclassed he is now vigan runs away clutching where his arm had once been Ray will forgive him just this once but there won't be a next time vigan runs as fast as he can and his breathing becomes slowly labored and ragged he was wrong he wasn't the hunter at all he was the hunted Ray checks on the

girl in handcuffs and she says that her name is Lina a slave Lina grabs Ray's legs just to make sure that they're really back on his body and not just stapled unlike Frankenstein Ry explains that he healed his legs because he's a White Mage but lion has never heard of any White Mage as amazing as him Ry realizes that his heel spell isn't normal anymore especially since he's been reattaching severed limbs for the past 5 years changing the subject Ry asks Lina what she plans to do next but she doesn't know Ray sees his younger

self in Lina a slave aimlessly going where others tell her to he can't leave her alone and he knows that if nen were here right now she' help her too he tells Lina that he's also trying to find his way somewhere and he invites her to go with him to the capital Ray wants to be like NE someone who helps others in need with how strong he is now he might just be able to pull that off but this means putting off reuniting with her meanwhile in the dark Laboratories of the Demon Lord a scientist

fear he won't be attacking them anytime soon and he can kill him easily too he tells Lon that she is no longer a slave but she begs to differ though her master and temporary contractor have died the proof of slavery on her hand remains this magic curse compels the slave to follow any order their Master asks them to do if it's a good thing she isn't a Lancer Ray didn't think this through lion explains that a slave with an unknown origin won't be able to find a buyer since uncontrolled slaves are unregulated and their owners

has Spirit there's no way for her to fight so many at once Ray returns to his original plan of using his menacing Ora to intimidate the Demonic beasts away Ray shows them a special treat Horrors Beyond mortal comprehension overwhelmed the Demonic beasts Retreat Lona falls into Ray's chest and he makes sure that she's all right just as Ray thought Lona was fighting without caring for her own life so he needs to create a reason for her to want to stay with him Ray claims to have lost all his memories over the past 5 years so

that he won't have to explain where he's been and so that she can teach him all about what he's missed he needs to find nen and to do that he needs to learn about the world he asks L to share her knowledge with him and in exchange he promises to keep her safe lion asks why he goes so far for her and he replies that he needs him it's that simple L owes a great debt to Ry so she is inclined to accept his conditions it's decided they're now companions from here on out until the

plot says otherwise Ray reforges the slave mark on her hand and places her under his control she asks him to give her an order but he doesn't want her as a slave for a reason like that he wanted to take advantage of two distinct effects of the slave Mark the first is to know her location at all times and the second is to share his own magical effects with her this makes it easier for Ray to protect her they shake hands and formally begin their new partnership though he'd love it if she'd stop adding Sama

to the end of his name after walking for a few hours Ray decides to set up camp for the evening L had heard that the monsters that appear at night are even more terrifying than usual and she apologizes for having to Camp outside Ry tells her that there's no issue they can take plenty of rest inside the tent that he also took from the wreck of the carriage while resting around the campfire Ray expresses how surprised he is for a slave to be educated in battle however there's one more shocking thing regarding their current location

earlier Lana told him that they are in the territory of seral south of the real Capital which is a 2-day Trip Away Ry and his party originally entered EGD rasel's Labyrinth from the territory of larden which is to the north of the capital this means that the dungeon is even larger than he had anticipated Lona shares that she's also surprised by how strong he is she was once allowed to watch a training session of the Holy Knights but after seeing Ray in action she can confidently say that the knights are far weaker in fact she

claims that even high ranking Knights wouldn't be able to keep up with with him that's how amazing she thinks he is Ray isn't used to being praised like this especially since norn just made fun of him half the time suddenly they are startled by The Infernal growl another monster has come Ray stands up and asks Lana to stay here they're about to fight something far stronger than vgan Ray rushes into the forest to try and get the jump on it meanwhile Loki and his party the revamped team yukino arrive at the A- rank dungeon dream

door of death their newest member is Canada replacing Ray as their healer with Supreme confidence they enter the dungeon several months earlier at the beautiful valon castle of the row Capital Loki arrives and remines about the time his party was first promoted to a rank only a select few are able to enter this Castle he recalls the moment when the king reasoned that since God is human they must be Gods as well using this justification he sent out the hero to kill the Demon Lord that day mted Loki the king recognizing the accomplishments of Team

yukino formally promotes them to an s-rank party there are four other parties that were promoted but only to a rank Loki loves feeling their envious gazes it fuels him Loki thanks the king for his kind words promising to continue doing their best the king looks forward to it and he dismisses them the award ceremony concludes Loki's party has not slacked off since they dump Ray on the bottom floors of the abrel labyrinth they've cleared several Dungeons and missions to earn their place as an s-rank party as such the reward money they receive will go up

and he can finally say Bon boyage to his financial worries Loki encounters two acquaintances who congratulate him for being promoted to S rank even though he's just 20 years old Loki can barely contain his excitement this is the high that he's been chasing he loves the praise he composes himself and credits this achievement to his very capable party members even though he thinks that they're good for nothing just riding on his coattails one of them remarks that if his party is this strong he might eventually be able to accompany the hero's party in conquering s-rank

reunites with his party the undead Terror can only be found in high-ranking dungeons like apel's Labyrinth and he is supremely confident that he won't encounter one in a million years back in the present Loki's party battles a giant ravenous centipede he shouts hino's name and he attacks the top of the centipede as planned after pummeling the beast from above it is left vulnerable to an attack from sug on its flank however Loki becomes agitated by Sugg's carelessness the centipede retaliates by firing a projectile from one of its horns injuring his shoulder in response fail batters

it with powerful storm bolts sufficiently weakened Loki finishes the job by crushing the centipedes head with a vacuum barrier after harvesting materials and healing their wounds Loki lectures sug on his carelessness earlier sub ignores his nagging pointing out that he defeated the monster anyway Loki holds his tongue sug turns to Canada and asks if she's done yet but she asks for a bit more time Loki decides to forget about this for now and he announces that they'll continue once sugs arm has healed the dungeon therein the dream door of death was discovered by a group

dungeon far more powerful than the dungeon's rating would suggest amino's blessing augments her five senses as well as an extra six sense that warns her when an enemy stronger than her is nearby canata worries that they may have bitten off more than they can chew by coming here but Loki decides to press forward sug asks Loki if he's really sure of that decision Loki reminds them all that they had conquered dozens of Dungeons and defeated several A- rank monsters in the past they should be fine especially since they have a talented White Mage in their

Ray all along that they were able to fight as recklessly as they did they would have died if you weren't there however with this new information they now realize why the other healers they commissioned were overwhelmed by their expectations of them those white Mages weren't bad at all Ray was just special suddenly jino's blessing warns her that something big is coming the dungeon master jino's blessing is screaming at her to run what they're about to face is an s-rank monster the same type they nearly lost to at eggd drassel Loki calms himself down it's been

5 years since their failed Expedition and they've gotten stronger since then they're going to fight it they're not the same naive adventurers they were before an undead Terror comes crawling out of the darkness and she speaks to them Loki's heart rate triples they can't defeat an undead Terror especially since the hero needed his whole party to defeat just one this just means that they'll have to be better than the hero fortunately it's a human type Undead Terror the weakest type against all warning signs Loki in his party attack meanwhile Ray tracks down the presence he

felt which is what he expected all along it's a liquid type Undead Terror the most Troublesome type fail stands outside the entrance of IG rasel's Labyrinth where she once entered 2 years ago she still thinks fondly of Ray who once gave her a butterfly clip for her birthday fail felt Unworthy of such a thoughtful gift but Ry wanted to thank her for always helping him out in countless battles and countless chores fail was aware of her own weakness which is why she supported Ry as much as he could she knew Ry was the true driving

she will just die at her current level fail stretches out her hand and dispels the Spell's effects on her norn finds her magic signature familiar and she realizes that fail has visited igel's Labyrinth once before she knows how dangerous the place can be but fail insists that she needs to be here she needs to find Ray nor in Surprise ask asks her if Ray is her friend fail somly says that Ray likely no longer considers her a friend after everything that's happened however norn begs to differ fail's been coming here preparing to enter the dungeon

with the determination to die she is without a doubt Ray's friend fail could never atone for Ray's death but norn tells her that he is still alive healthy as a clam she tells fail that she needn't come by anymore as Ray is safe and sound fail breaks down in tears words cannot express how glad she is that Reay is alive norn is glad that Ry has at least one friend who is still concerned about him fail hands norn a napsack which once belonged to Ray and asks her to place it on the 125th floor for

him to take norn agrees to do as she asks in exchange norn hands fail a soul Stone a rare ore that can only be found in ael's Labyrinth all she asks is that fail take care of Ry if ever he decides to return to the outside world fail promises and she thanks Norm for her help two years after Ray presumably perished within the bowels of the most dangerous dungeon in the world fail learns that he is still alive however this doesn't change the fact that she was complicit in Loki's actions and she will bear this

sin for all eternity back in the present Team guino battles the human type Undead Terror with disastrous results fail still has some magic left in her but the undead Terror attacks too fast and she is given little time and space to attack properly a powerful blast sends her flying and sug his next on the table the undead Terror delivers a devastating Ki that causes sug to crash into the wall knocking him unconscious she remarks how fragile adventurers are and she turns her attention to Loki and Canada Hino attacks the undead Terror from behind only for

her sword arm to be cut off with a swipe of a tendril when Hino realizes that her arm is on the ground she falls into a panic Loki looks at The Battered state of his party this isn't what he planned at all canata warns Loki about an incoming attack which he defends against using the barrier he's so proud of his Pride and Joy are CR crushed as the undead Terror tendrils chatter it and eviscerate him Loki tells kada to hurry up and heal him already but he won't have the time to do so the undead

Terror confidently strides towards him but he unexpectedly begs for Mercy he asks her to spare his life in exchange for those of his comrades a coward's way out the undead Terror tired of hearing Loki's prattling launches her tendrils to end his miserable life Loki grabs kenada and uses her as a human shield however precious you seconds have been bought fail unleashes one of her most powerful spells Giga flame which scores a direct hit she shouts at canat to heal the others while she does her best to distract the undead Terror fail resolves to buy them

as much time as possible while the undead Terror slowly and painfully kills fail fail considers this her punishment she wonders what Ry would think if he saw them now she Harbors regrets over how she would trade Ry like that as a witch the one thing she was scared of the most was death death was What stopped her that day but it won't stop her now fail Embraces her punishment with open arms her butterfly hairpin falls to the ground the black Witch of the East has fallen Loki awakens on a bed remembering that he was battling

the undead Terror he has lost his right arm and left leg the head doctor checks up on him and he begs her to regenerate his lost limbs offering to pay any amount of money she replies that she can't but she knows someone who can Ry the person that Loki killed Loki denies these allegations pointing out that team guino is an esteemed s rank party comrade killing is a serious crime that he'd never commit the doctor points out that five people in the past 5 years have died while in their party this is the role with

the least chances of death yet all of them have died however thanks to kata's report the doctor knows all about Loki's actions and attitude the doctor is angry that Loki personally had a hand in having her precious white Mages killed but she doesn't need to be Loki's career is done just like his comrades are she reports that sug is in a permanent coma and Nino is blind with both limbs on her left side gone and fail is missing presumably dead team guino is finished meanwhile Ray battles the liquid type Undead Terror a monstrous amalgamation of

pure horror it regenerates any lost limbs that were severed and it seems to have no shortage of magic power Ray remarks that it must have consumed an ungodly number of people while dodging the tentacles being thrown his way Ray wonders why such a powerful monster is just wandering out in the open the undead terror is a monster often called the reciter of the Dead a high tier monster that lives mostly near the demon Lord's castle it is exceedingly rare to encounter one so far away from its usual habitat with how it released its magic power

earlier Ray deduces that this monster is being used to test him somehow this means that it' be someone powerful enough to control an undead Terror and that someone is watching his every move Ry knows that it'd be bad to prolong the battle any further especially since Lavia is waiting for him he doesn't want to reveal too much about his abil abilities but he has to finish off this s+ rank monster quickly he'll have to get serious for a second in the blink of an eye Ray leaps toward the top of the undead Terror it retaliates

with putri acids from its extremities but Ray avoids them and the acid safely dissolves some trees instead Ray continues his assault and he splits the undead Terror open Ray locates its weakness its core this makes things simple he summons the oral Lance intending to finish off this monster with one final attack Ray hefts the Lance and thrusts it with all his might shattering the undead Terror core Beyond repair Lona pokes her head out of the bushes amazed that Ray defeated the undead Terror in an instant what she just witnessed was nothing short of incredible especially

after watching Ray avoid all those attacks like it was nothing while the undead Terror was indeed strong Ray has defeated more powerful monsters in the past
