Pray For Wisdom! Some Things You Should Never Reveal | Blessed Morning Prayer To Begin Your Day

dear listener the theme on my heart today is centered around using your words with wisdom in life if you haven't already learned this lesson you'll soon learn that not everyone can be your Confidant not everyone can or should be told everything the Bible tells us to be slow to speak it also tells us to pray for wisdom I believe this is because a lot of Christians forget that the devil is out to hurt your faith he's out to steal your joy and destroy your peace he won't do this with physical weapons but here's a real

example of a true scenario that happened a man confided in someone who he thought could be trusted it was a fellow believer in Christ so he confided in him concerning a business idea that he felt God had put on his heart he told him the idea and all about how he was prayerfully planning the launch of this business the friend listened and even offered some encouragement well a few months later this man finds out that his friend the one he' confided in launched the same exact business around the same time that he launched his and

he positioned himself as a rival now this broke that man's heart he felt betrayed and he felt bitterness growing within his heart he was a young Christian and the man he convited in was in the faith longer than he had been and so he could not get over the fact that a fellow believer could be so deceitful unfortunately the bitterness grew because it wasn't just a case of betrayal but it was then a real business rival this scenario led the man to leave the church and in his own words if Christians can act like this

and preach about love then I don't want to be a part of it now keep in mind that this was a relatively new believer but the point of this story is this be careful who you open up to because people are people Christians may hurt you intentionally or unintentionally and remember the Bible calls us to forgive but the devil he will always try to use that hurt to inflict more damage and to sew Discord so before you open up to anyone stop a moment take time to prayerfully con consider and analyze the person you should

confide in and most importantly ask God for wisdom in the Bible Joseph was chosen by God and he willingly told his brothers what God had revealed to him and what happened they used it against him what if I told you there are secrets that chosen ones should never reveal yes even children of God must have certain things that they never reveal silence makes you less predictable and therefore less vulnerable I would even go so far as saying silence can be a way to guard your heart and protect your plans because not everyone who Smiles has

good intentions not everyone who claps is really happy for you and everyone who listens doesn't have pure intentions some are listening so that they can use it against you so as a child of god let's talk about some of the things you should never reveal the first thing you should not be quick to reveal has to do with your early victories and breakthroughs unless the Holy Spirit prompts you to speak and testify be very careful who you tell about your early breakthroughs when God first grants you favor in a certain field in your business or

in your career never run to announce it when God promotes you when he increases your territory when he elevates you do not in this age of social media run to announce it Psalm 23:5 says you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies you anoint my head with oil my cup runs over the Bible never tells you to announce the blessings that God has given you no it's God who prepares a table for you in the presence of your enemies when King Saul was anointed the prophet Samuel said to him in 1st

Samuel 10: 7 and 8 once these signs are fulfilled do whatever your hand finds to do for God is with you go down ahead of me to gilgal I will surely come down to you to sacrifice burnt offerings and fellowship offerings but you must wait 7 days until I come to you and tell you what you are to do note how there was no encouragement to broadcast anything quickly so should you experience a sudden shift a sudden move from God that elevates you don't be the one to boast don't be the one to reveal all

unnecessarily the devil plants people in your life who will be there only to plot your downfall so be careful about what you reveal and to whom you reveal secondly be careful about sharing what God has revealed to you or placed in your heart for example this may be a desire for you to go on a missionary trip and you begin to make plans or maybe you dream of being the first person in your family to open and run a business for themselves learn this lesson be very careful when revealing your future plans and dreams the

devil uses people the devil uses demons not only should you be careful but also be prayerful when it comes to who you confide in another aspect of your life that you should carefully consider before you share is your intimate spiritual encounters with God this can be dreams and even visions that God gives you unless you're prompted by the Holy Spirit to share a testimony to encourage others have wisdom be prayerful concerning who you should share with think about Mary's visitation her visitation announcing her Immaculate pregnancy was a secret only revealed later when Angelic timing permitted

John was instructed not to write the Thunders he heard in Revelation 10 Paul he heard unexpressable things in 2 Corinthians 12 that he admitted no one is permitted to tell so dear listener may the Lord grant us wisdom to know when to speak may the Lord grant us wisdom concerning who we should share with Psalm 1 veres 1 through 2 says blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked nor stands in the way of Sinners nor sits in the seat of scoffers but his Delight is in the law of the

Lord and on his law he meditates day and night we all get to choose who we led into our lives we can surround ourselves with like-minded people with people who will build us up and encourage us to dwell richly in Christ or we can linger in the company of people who will lead us astray people who will take us far away from God's perfect will for our lives the choice we make when it comes to the company we keep it can have serious consequences not just in the short term but in light of Eternity second

Corinthians 6:14 says do not be unequally yolked with unbelievers for what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness or what Fellowship has light with Darkness this passage is often applied to the context of dating or marriage but it applies in a general sense to friendships as well we as Believers should be more careful about who we l into our Inner Circle that doesn't mean we can't have friendships with unbelievers but we shouldn't allow ourselves to be yolked to be tied to be bound by them we can't allow them to hold us back from following the Lord because

while we might share certain Hobbies or interests or life situations at the end of the day if we do not share the most important part of us our faith our trust in Jesus Christ then that's a relationship that we don't need to maintain 1 Corinthians 15:33 do not be deceived Bad Company ruins good morals no matter how good of a Christian you think you are no one is 100% safe from the influence of evil if we're not careful we can allow ungodly people to hinder our own walk with Christ as humans we are social creatures

we tend to imitate each other's behavior and attitudes the more time we spend with certain people the more like them we become that's why the Bible warns us regarding the company we keep Proverbs 13:20 says whoever walks with the wise becomes wise but the companion of fools will suffer harm today there might not be anyone in your life that you would identify as a fool but can you identify anyone who constantly attracts trouble and often brings you into it you know the devil can plant people in our Lives who may seem genuine at first but

are actually harmful to our relationship with God these people might end up discouraging us betraying us or even destroying us however when we surround ourselves with fellow Bible believing Bible practicing Christ loving people then our interactions become season seasoned with Grace and tenderness we become better equipped to face the struggles of life when we know that we have a support system that stands with us that prays with us that intercedes for us and that believes with us now let's go to God In Prayer dear Lord help us to exercise caution and wisdom when it comes

to the people in our lives and what we share with them give us discernment when it comes to who we should confide in if there is someone we can trust give us peace in our hearts if there's someone who we should love from a distance and not confide in then may the Holy Spirit warn our hearts Lord we pray that you would bring people in our Lives who would stand with us in faith send people in our Lives who will pray with us and pray for us put people in our Lives who are filled with

Godly wisdom and a genuine love for for Christ and father I give you praise for those people who are already in my life the people with whom I can share all the joy and all the struggles of Life your word in Hebrews 10: 24 through 2 and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works not neglecting to meet together as is the habit of some but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day Drawing Near Lord we also want to thank you for the people in

our lives that you sent thank you for the ones who always encourage us and uplift us thank you for those who gently push us to become more faithful and obedient followers of Christ help me to treasure and cherish them and to never take them for granted for I know that they are a blessing and a gift from you I pray that others may find me to be someone who is filled with Godly wisdom and with the love of Christ remove any self-righteousness from within me remove any Pride Lord make me someone who is only concerned

with loving the Lord with all my heart and soul and loving my neighbor many people in this life come and go but today Lord I pray that you would lead me to people who are striving for righteousness father lead me to people who will help me develop and grow in faith give me discernment and wisdom to know who in my life has been sent from God and who has been planted by the devil Holy Spirit open my eyes help me to see things as they truly are reveal everyone who seeks to do me evil or

is a danger to my walk with God and Lord give me the strength to make all the necessary adjustments Earthly relationships can be so tricky to navigate so father Wherever I Go Supply me with a community of Believers that ultimately point me to you may the Holy Spirit give us the wisdom and discernment to monitor who we allow to walk in and out of our Lives heavenly father I pray that you would bring people into my life who would stand with me in faith Fai Lord send people into our Lives who will pray with us

and pray for us put people in our Lives who are filled with Godly wisdom and a genuine love for Christ and father I give you praise for those people who are already in my life the people with whom I can share all the joys and struggles of Life In Your Perfect Design Your Word in Hebrews 10: 20-2 says says and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works not neglecting to meet together as is the habit of some but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the

day Drawing Near Lord I truly thank you for the people in my life who I know I can count on thank you for the ones who always encourage me those who always lift me me up to become a more faithful and obedient follower of Christ Lord help me to treasure and cherish them and to never take them for granted for I know they are a blessing and a gift from you and father I ask that you would make me that person in their lives Lord make me someone that they can count on make me someone

Lord who can help hold them accountable who can encourage them who can pray for them and with them and make their lives better the same way they've made mine better I pray that others may also find me to be someone who is filled with Godly wisdom and with the love of Christ Lord remove any self-righteousness from within me remove any Pride Lord make me somebody who is only concerned with loving the Lord with all my heart and soul and loving my neighbor Lord I also pray for the people in my life who do not honor

you for the people living outside of your will those who are still lost in sin father help me to exercise caution and wisdom help me to have a burden for their souls to be saved and at the same time give me the grace not to become tempted to join in their lifestyle help me to be on guard against any harm they might potentially cause to my own walk with you by your grace help me to be a light to them help me to be a caring and compassionate witness Lord I want them to know you

I want them to have fellowship with the light just as I do father Empower me to speak the gospel into their lives whenever I can but also help me to set the boundaries that are necessary for my my own spiritual health don't let me expend so much on others that I neglect my relationship with you God I know that throughout my life many people will come and go so I pray that you would lead me to people who are striving for righteousness lead me to people who will help me develop and grow in faith father

give me discernment and wisdom to know who in my life has been sent from God and who has been planted by the devil Holy Spirit open my eyes help me to see things as they truly are reveal everyone who seeks to do me evil or is a danger to my walk with God and then Lord give me the strength to make all the necessary adjustments Earthly relationships can be so tricky to navigate so father wherever I go I'm asking you to supply me with with a community of Believers ones that ultimately point me to you
