I'd like to speak a word of encouragement to someone today Deuteronomy 31:8 says the Lord himself goes before you and will be with you he will never leave you nor forsake you do not be afraid do not be discouraged listen this is God's word to you the Lord himself goes before you he will not leave you he will not forsake you so then why are you afraid why are you discouraged if God is with you who can be against you tell me what can come against you if you read acts 23 Paul was in a

difficult situation he'd been arrested he was the cause of a massive uproar and he was caught in the middle of a dispute between the Pharisees and Sadducees now there's a passage of scripture that I'd like to highlight acts 23: 9-1 then there arose a loud outcry and the scribes of the Pharisees party arose and protested saying we find no evil in this man but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him let us not fight against God now when there arose a great dissension the commander fearing lest Paul might be pulled to Pieces

by them commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them and bring him into the barracks but the following night the Lord stood by him and said be of good cheer Paul for as you have testified for me in Jerusalem so you must also bear witness at Rome so Paul stands accused he stands in the middle of a very real threat of Danger on his life but verse 11 here says the following night the Lord stood by him now I'm not going to focus on what the Lord said to encourage

Paul but I want you to focus on the fact that the Bible said the Lord stood by him what more do you need in this life than for God to stand by you why should you worry why should you fear or be anxious when you know that God stands beside you isn't it remarkable that just when Paul might have been forgiven for thinking am I doing the right thing when the whole world seems to be against me just when Paul was in the firing line there was God standing beside him God was honoring his word

which says in Deuteronomy 31 ver8 he will never leave you nor forsake you do not be afraid do not be discouraged everything the Lord has for us is contained in these simple words words he will never leave you or forsake you so listen if you're feeling like the weight of the entire world is on your shoulders just remember God is right there beside you if you're feeling low anxious or worried take heart God stands beside you the key thing for us is to believe have faith in the Lord and He will take care of you

everything else sometimes in life God allows us to encounter pain and notice how I say God allows he permits us to face something difficult he allowed Paul to face many hardships as the Bible in 2 Corinthians 11: 25- 26 says three times I was beaten with rods once I was stoned three times I was Shipwrecked once I spent a whole night and a day a drift at Sea I have traveled on many long Journeys I have faced Danger from rivers and from robbers I have faced Danger from my own people the Jews as well as

from the Gentiles I have faced danger in the cities in the deserts and on the Seas and I have faced Danger from men who claim to be Believers but are not now just think about how God allowed Hannah to be Barren Hannah experienced the pain and Desperation of wanting a child but her body failing her think of how God allowed Joseph to experience the pain of betrayal from those who were closest to him so you see often times God will allow us to encounter pain but why well the Bible in Psalm 119 verses 66-77 sheds

light on why God allows us to encounter pain it says teach me knowledge and good judgment for I trust your commands before I was afflicted I went astray but now I obey your word you are good and what you do is good teach me your decrees though the Arrogant have smeared me with lies I keep your precepts with all my heart their hearts are callous and unfeeling but I Delight in your law it was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees the law from your mouth is more precious to

me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold your hands made me and formed me give me understanding to learn your commands may those who fear you rejoice when they see me for I have put my hope in your word I know Lord that your laws are righteous and that in faithfulness you have Afflicted me may your unfailing love be my comfort according to your promise to your servant note how the psalmist says before I was afflicted I went astray but now I obey your word consider this if someone encounters painful circumstances and that pain

causes them to seek God like never before to pray with intensity and fervency if those painful circumstances bring them closer to God then is that not a good work being performed in their lives I mean think about it if if you never go through anything how will you learn how to pray how will you learn how to trust and rely on God listen whether we like it or not afflictions bring us closer to God as believers they make us cling ever so tightly to his word and his promises and when God brings you through that

trial your faith will most certainly ly be stronger so dear listener since we cannot stop pain from entering Our Lives let's pray that God will help us to use those painful moments to press in closer to him to trust and rely on him to lean into him to know him in a greater way to learn a different side of God that we would not have known without the pain Lord thank you for caring for us thank you for promising never to leave us or forsake us someone may be listening right now and they feel forgotten

they're downtrodden and tired from the battles they faced Lord Jesus I pray that you make your presence known to anyone who is on the verge of giving up remind them that you are still by their side May the Holy Spirit remind the person who's weak and weary that there is strength in Jesus Christ May the Holy Spirit remind the person who is feeling like an outcast may they be reminded that Jesus Christ loves them just the way they are and he welcomes you into his arms may your presence go before us King Jesus may it

surround us and cover us with you on our side we fear nothing we're not discouraged by what's going on in the economy or what's happening in the world our eyes are on you a God who will strengthen us rescue us help and Deliver Us in times of trouble as your children we firmly believe that you are able to do exceedingly above anything we could imagine or think Lord we would never be put to shame when our trust is in you I declare Hebrews 13:6 so we may boldly say the Lord is my helper I will

not fear what can man do to me you Lord Jesus are our helper the only one who can uphold each of us with your righteous right hand whatever we need we trust you to supply it you keep us secure Lord you are the answer to every Challenge and difficulty in this life we praise you for always being there for us looking out for us loving and protecting us we praise you because you are a God who heals restores and makes me whole again we praise you because you are a God who has saved us from

destruction and shown us loving kindness and Tender Mercies I will bless your holy name as long as I live I will lift up my hands and praise Only You Lord Jesus Holy Spirit help me to have a heart filled with praise so that when things are good I will bless the Lord with all my soul and all that is within me I will praise His holy name and when life is challenging or difficult I will still bless the Lord with all my soul and all that is within me I will praise His holy name I

Praise You Lord Jesus because you are the one who can quench my thirsty Soul you are the one who Faithfully loves me and you alone are the one who can make me feel new and refreshed again it's in your presence that I'm made whole I praise you because of your abundant and unfailing Mercies for as long as I'm alive I will lift up my heart my voice and my hands to worship you I give you praise for your faithfulness I thank you for listening to this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray

for my soul trusts in you and in the shadow of your wings I will make my refuge until these calamities have passed by we sometimes take life for granted we take God's protection for granted but let me tell you that you are most vulnerable when you're comfortable the devil loves a comfortable Christian and God calls a comfortable Christian lukewarm and that's because you're neither hot nor cold you're neither here or there there's no urgency about you and there sure enough isn't any fire to your prayers however I want to emphasize the importance of prayer we

need the Lord to watch over us and to protect us the Bible says in Mark 14: 38 Watch and Pray so that you will not fall into temptation the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak you see when you are comfortable and prayerless you are in your weakest State as a Believer and friends let me tell you something when you are prayerless you are vulnerable to spiritual attacks you need to understand that the forces of Darkness operate in darkness both spiritually and in the physical too the devil is cunning and he certainly does doesn't

play fair he will wait until you've let your guard down and you are dull in your spiritual senses because of a lack of prayer that's when he will attack but today I want to encourage you and remind you of the protection we have in Jesus Christ the devil may try whatever he wants but we are guarded by Jesus Christ we are shielded by Jesus J Christ the blood of Jesus Christ has formed a perimeter around our homes the angel of the Lord encamps at our residence when we call on the name of the father I

encourage you not to fear whatever comes your way because Jesus Christ is a mighty protector he is a savior Jesus Christ will cover you and block the enemy so each and every day I encourage you to pray for the Divine protection that comes only from the Son of God it's the kind of protection that rebukes the enemy and exposes his plans it gives no power to spiritual attacks David a man after God's Own Heart said in Psalm 119: 62 at midnight I Rise to praise you because of your righteous rules I don't know who needs

to hear this but you may be thinking that you are all alone you may be feeling as though life has beat you up but I want you to know that you are defended by a God who neither sleeps nor Slumbers I want to remind you that you are guarded by the lion of the tribe of Judah you are shielded by the powerful blood of Jesus Christ I would like to read Psalm 121 it's a short chapter of only eight verses but it's a powerful reminder to all of us that our help is in the Lord

While others may run to different things or run to hide in man-made bunkers we can call on the name that is above every name the name of Jesus Christ now as I read this passage I pray that the spirit of the Lord would strengthen your faith and put your mind at ease I pray that there would be a quiet confidence within your heart even in the middle of any chaotic situation you may be facing Psalm 121 the Bible reads I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help my help comes

from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth he will not allow your foot to be moved he who keeps you will not Slumber behold he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep the Lord is your keeper the Lord is your shade at your right hand the sun shall not strike you by day nor the Moon By Night the Lord shall preserve you from all evil he shall preserve your soul the Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even forever more I don't think as Christians we speak

enough about the protection that we have as children of God the Bible tells us that the Lord is our keeper we are his possession we are under his care and I find it incredible that a god of such power and might would consider us so precious that he would watch over us as a child of God you are surrounded by Angels when you call on the name of Jesus for help rest easy be at peace with the full knowledge and assurance that there is power wonder where working power in the Precious Blood of the Lamb

the God who protects us is unconquerable he is Almighty he knows us individually He Loves Us perfectly he provides for our every need and he most certainly protects us now let us pray I bless your name Lord Jesus you are worthy to be praised and lifted High you are worthy to be praised and exalted I come to you today asking for your help and intervention for everyone who is listening and in need move within our circumstances Lord move within our situations father some people may Place their trust in doctors and scientists in medicine and human

knowledge but we place our trust in you King Jesus we understand that our help comes from you Lord you are all that we want and need Psalm 121: 3-4 says he will not allow your foot to be moved he who keeps you will not Slumber behold he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor asleep I thank you for this promise that you not let us your children stumble you Lord will keep us steady and unshaken by anything that life may bring you will keep us steady and unmoved when the devil and his army Rises up

against us your word has promised us that you will not allow us to be moved so I call on you Jehovah to Hold Us close I pray that you would place my hand in yours and show me the way lead me and guide me you are our keeper father you are so powerful and Limitless in your power that you neither sleep nor Slumber in you we are confident and secure we are safe and at peace because the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob watches over us and our families you Almighty father are the one who

keeps us safe at night and protected during the day thank you for wrapping your loving arms around us thank you Lord for your blessing of protection that is Upon Our Lives you keep us safe and sound from sun up to sun down we give you glory Lord because you Shield us from the attacks of the enemy and you block Every dart that comes our way some trust and chariots some trust in horses but as for me and my house as for me and every single person listening we declare that we will trust in the name

of the Lord Our God I will trust in you Jesus because your word says in Psalm 20: 6 now I know that the Lord saves his anointed he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand today we confess victory over all of life's troubles we speak victory over all of our battles we are winners in Christ we are victorious in Christ we are more than conquerors because greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world I bless your name my father your word says

the Lord shall preserve you from all evil he shall preserve your soul the Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even forever more I bless your Holy Name Lord for your promises I confess by faith that my Lord will keep me from all harm Jehovah Gyra watches over my life and preserves Me From Evil I declare that evil will not touch me or come near my house because my savior will preserve my going out and coming in May your name be glorified Lord Jesus from this day forth

in our hands at any given moment the Lord could call us home are you living your life with an urgency for the things of Christ because if you truly believe that tomorrow is not promised then you will live with a purpose every everything you do should be done with a view of Eternity with each passing second each minute and every hour we are edging closer to an appointed time when we will stand before God and give an account for what we have done with our lives so now is the time to get right and build

a close relationship with Jesus Christ now is the time to work and to serve the kingdom of God now is the time to fully surrender to Jesus Christ don't put it off a second longer there is no reason to wait there is joy in him there is eternal life in him when you stop wrestling with God and let him transform your life you will experience a freedom like you have never felt before Jesus satisfies every hunger he quenches every thirst he fills the deepest longings for your soul so come to him today the Lord is

patient and willing to forgive those who come to him with a broken and contrite heart Hebrews 9: 27 says and as it is appointed for men to die once but after this the Judgment with this in mind I encourage you to live with an urgency time is ticking sooner or later either you will stand before the Lord in an instant or he will return to take his church away you and I need to live a life that is mindful of the fact that we will all be accountable for what we did for Jesus and what

we didn't do will you be able to say that your life produced good fruit in the kingdom of God will you be able to say that during your days here on Earth you had eternity on your mind far too many people waste their lives on things that won't last on money power and relationships but God is not concerned with those things he is concerned with the state of your heart what matters is how you live your life in accordance to God's word what matters is if you put Jesus Christ first at the end of your

life the Lord will not ask you how much money you made he won't ask you how many friends you had or or even how many good works you did he will simply want to know who you trusted for your Eternal salvation who did you serve who did you love with all your heart with all your mind and soul the only correct answer in fact the only answer is Jesus Christ the son of God [Music] Lord Jesus I thank you for your love I thank you for your Saving Grace Your Love Lord is all encompassing it's

a love that has accepted me in my sinful State and called me to repentance thank you for your mercy your mercy has afforded me to obtain eternal life your mercy has saved me me from Eternal damnation because of your mercy Lord I can look forward to Everlasting joy in your presence Titus 2: 11-14 reads for the grace of God has appeared bringing salvation to all people training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled upright and God Godly lives in this present age waiting for our blessed hope the appearing of the glory

of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works Lord Jesus you are our blessed hope you are my blessed hope Lord help me to live a Godly life in this present evil age in this age where sin is rampant where the love of many has grown cold I pray that the holy spirit will keep the fire of Christ Burning Brightly in my heart help me Holy Spirit not to grow

cold or lukewarm when it comes to All Things concerning Jesus Christ help me not to be tempted or lured into the ways of this world give me the grace and strength that I need to live a life that is upright and pure help me to live a life that demonstrates the love of Jesus Christ to all people whether saved or unsaved let my life be a living example a living testimony of God's Amazing Grace and eternal [Music] mercies father in and among all of the distractions in this world I pray that my focus will only

and cut through the bars of iron thank you for your promises Lord go before us each and every day master May the Holy Spirit help us to put you first in every area of Our Lives you King Jesus are first in our homes you're first in our finances you're first in our marriages nothing and no one is worthy to be competing for the number one spot in our hearts because you alone sit on the Throne you alone are God over my life Jehovah we invite the Holy Spirit to be our teacher and lead us into

all truth it's only you oh God who can level mountains It's Only You Lord who offers rest to the weary it's only you Lord Jesus who can give us true peace God I pray that you might have mercy on us look upon us mercifully even when we fall father help us in our own individual prayer lives to value and to have a sacred commitment to spending time alone with you birth a desire in us so that we can spend time alone in your presence regularly and so that we can develop a stronger relationship with you

Holy Spirit I ask that you help me to make prayer and reading God's word a priority in my life even in the midst of this busy World keep my priorities aligned with the kingdom of God I I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep our lives from controlling us from distracting us and taking us away from the presence of God help us to keep our relationship with the Lord a priority May the Holy Spirit never stop convicting us and pulling us in your direction Lord may he never stop tugging at our hearts may he never

stop calling us to the things of God help us to set our eyes and my affections on heaven to seek your presence on a daily basis Revive Our Spirits Lord and refresh our desires so that we would chase after you may the Holy Spirit create fire in me that burns brightly for the things of God a fire that seeks Jesus Christ Above All Else always Lord may you take the number one spot in my life and heart in Jesus mighty name I pray all the glory praise and honor can only be given to you A

to your prayers however I want to emphasize the importance of prayer we need the Lord to watch over us and to protect us the Bible says in Mark 14: 38 Watch and Pray so that you will not fall into temptation the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak you see when you are comfortable and prayerless you are in your weakest State as a Believer and friends let me tell you something when you are prayerless you are vulner vulnerable to spiritual attacks you need to understand that the forces of Darkness operate in darkness both spiritually

and in the physical too the devil is cunning and he certainly doesn't play fair he will wait until you've let your guard down and you are dull in your spiritual senses because of a lack of prayer that's when he will attack but today I want to encourage you and remind you of the protection we have in Jesus Christ the devil may try whatever he wants but we are guarded by Jesus Christ we are shielded by Jesus Christ the blood of Jesus Christ has formed a perimeter around our homes the angel of the Lord encamps at

our residence when we call on the name of the father I encourage you not to fear whatever comes your way because Jesus Christ is a mighty protector he is a savior Jesus Christ will cover you and block the enemy so each and every day I encourage you to pray for the Divine protection that comes only from the Son of God it's the kind of protection that rebukes the enemy and exposes his plans it gives no power to spiritual attacks David a man after God's Own Heart said in Psalm 119: 62 at midnight I Rise to

praise you because of your righteous rules I don't know who needs to hear this but you may be thinking that you are all alone you may be feeling as though life has beat you up up but I want you to know that you are defended by a God who neither sleeps nor Slumbers I want to remind you that you are guarded by the lion of the tribe of Judah you are shielded by the powerful blood of Jesus Christ I would like to read Psalm 121 it's a short chapter of only eight verses but it's a

powerful reminder to all of us that our help is in the Lord While others may run to different things or run to hide in man-made bunkers we can call on the name that is above every name the name of Jesus Christ now as I read this passage I pray that the spirit of the Lord would strengthen your faith and put your mind at ease I pray that there would be a quiet confidence idence within your heart even in the middle of any chaotic situation you may be facing Psalm 121 the Bible reads I will lift

up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help my help comes from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth he will not allow your foot to be moved he who keeps you will not Slumber behold He Who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep the Lord is your keeper the Lord is your shade at your right hand the sun shall not strike you by day nor the Moon by Night the Lord shall preserve you from all evil he shall preserve your soul the Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from

this time forth and even forever more I don't think as Christians we speak enough about the protection that we have as children of God the Bible tells us that the Lord is our keeper we are his possession we are under his care and I find it incredible that a god of such power and might would consider us so precious that he would watch over us as a child of God you are surrounded by Angels when you call on the name of Jesus for help rest easy be at peace with the full knowledge and assurance that

there is power Wonder working power in the Precious Blood of the Lamb the God who protects us is unconquerable he is all Mighty he knows us individually He Loves Us perfectly he provides for our every need and he most certainly protects us now let us pray I bless your name Lord Jesus you are worthy to be praised and lifted High you are worthy to be praised and exalted I come to you today asking for your help and intervention for everyone who is listening and in need move within our circumstances Lord move within our situations father

have done with our lives so now is the time to get right and build a close relationship with Jesus Christ now is the time to work and to serve the kingdom of God now is the time to fully surrender to Jesus Christ don't put it off a second longer there is no reason to wait there is joy in him there is eternal life in him when you stop wrestling with God and let him transform your life you will experience a freedom like you have never felt before Jesus satisfies every hunger he quenches every thirst he

fills the deepest longings for your soul so come to him today the the Lord is patient and willing to forgive those who come to him with a broken and contrite heart Hebrews 9: 27 says and as it is appointed for men to die once but after this the Judgment with this in mind I encourage you to live with an urgency time is ticking sooner or later either you will stand before the Lord in an instant or he will return to take his church away you and I need to live a life that is mindful of

the fact that we will all be accountable for what we did for Jesus and what we didn't do will you be able to say that your life produced good fruit in the kingdom of God will you be able to say that during your days here on Earth you add eternity on your mind far too many people waste their lives on things that won't last on money power and relationships but God is not concerned with those things he is concerned with the state of your heart what matters is how you live your life in accordance to

God's will word what matters is if you put Jesus Christ first at the end of your life the Lord will not ask you how much money you made he won't ask you how many friends you had or even how many good works you did he will simply want to know who you trusted for your Eternal salvation who did you serve who did you love with with all your heart with all your mind and soul the only correct answer in fact the only answer is Jesus Christ the son of God lord Jesus I thank you for

your love I thank you for your Saving Grace Your Love Lord is all encompassing it's a love that has accepted me me in my sinful State and called me to repentance thank you for your mercy your mercy has afforded me to obtain eternal life your mercy has saved me from Eternal damnation because of your mercy Lord I can look forward to Everlasting joy in your presence Titus 2: 11-14 reads for the grace of God has appeared bringing salvation to all people training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled upright and godly

we invite the Holy Spirit to be our teacher and lead us into all truth TR it's only you oh God who can level mountains It's Only You Lord who offers rest to the weary it's only you Lord Jesus who can give us true peace God I pray that you might have mercy on us look upon us mercifully even when we fall father help us in our own individual prayer lives to value and to have a sacred commitment to spending time alone with you birth a desire in us so that we can spend time alone in

your presence regularly and so that we can develop a stronger relationship with you Holy Spirit I ask that you help me to make prayer and reading God's word a priority in my life even in the midst of this busy World keep my priorities aligned with the kingdom of God I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep our lives from controlling us from distracting us and taking us away from the presence of God help us to keep our relationship with the Lord a priority May the Holy Spirit never stop convicting us and pulling us in your

discouraged if God is with you who can be against you tell me what can come against you if you read acts 23 Paul was in a difficult situation he'd been arrested he was the cause of a massive uproar and it was caught in the middle of a dispute between the Pharisees and Sadducees now there's a passage of scripture that I'd like to highlight acts 23: 9-11 then there arose a loud outcry and the scribes of the Pharisees party arose and protested saying we find no evil in this man but if a spirit or an angel

has spoken to him let us not fight against God now when there arose a great dissension the commander fearing lest Paul might be pulled to Pieces by them commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them and bring him into the barracks but the following night the Lord stood by him and said be of good cheer Paul for as you have testified for me in Jerusalem so you must also bear witness at Rome so Paul stands accused he stands in the middle of a very real threat of Danger on his

life but verse 11 here says the following night the Lord stood by him now I'm not going to focus on what the Lord said to encourage Paul but I want you to focus on the fact that the Bible said the Lord stood by him what more do you need in this life than for God to stand by you why should you worry why should you fear or be anxious when you know that God stands beside you isn't it remarkable that just when Paul might have been forgiven for thinking am I doing the right thing when

the whole world seems to be against me just when Paul was in the firing line there was God standing beside him God was honoring his word which says in Deuteronomy 31:8 he will never leave you nor forsake you do not be afraid do not be discouraged everything the Lord has for us is contained in these simple words he will never leave you or forsake you so listen if you're feeling like the weight of the entire world is on your shoulders just remember God is right there beside you if you're feeling low anxious or worried take

heart God stands beside you the key thing for us is to believe have faith in the Lord and he will take care of everything [Music] else sometimes in life God allows us to encounter pain and notice how I say God allows he permits us to face something difficult he allowed Paul to face many hardships as the Bible in 2 Corinthians 11: 25- 26 says three times I was beaten with rods once I was stoned three times I was Shipwrecked once I spent a whole night and a day a drift at Sea I have traveled on

many long Journeys I have faced Danger from rivers and from robbers I have faced Danger from my own people the Jews as well as from the Gentiles I have faced danger in the cities in the deserts and on the Seas and I have faced Danger from men who claim to be believers but are not now just think about how God allowed Hannah to be Barren Hannah experienced the pain and Desperation of wanting a child but her body failing her think of how God allowed Joseph to experience the pain of betrayal from those who were closest

the psalmist says before I was Afflicted I went astray but now I obey your word consider this if someone encounters painful circumstances and that pain causes them to seek God like never before to pray with intensity and fervency if those painful circumstances bring them closer to God then is that not a good work being performed in their lives I mean think about it if you never go through anything how will you learn how to pray how will you learn how to trust and rely on God listen whether we like it or not afflictions bring us

closer to God as believers they make us cling ever so tightly to his word and his promises and when God brings you through that trial your faith faith will most certainly be stronger so dear listener since we cannot stop pain from entering Our Lives let's pray that God will help us to use those painful moments to press in closer to him to trust and rely on him to lean into him to know him in a greater way to learn a different side of God that we would not have known without the pain Lord thank you

God's Own Heart said in Psalm 119: 62 at midnight I Rise to praise you because of your righteous rules I don't know who needs to hear this but you may be thinking that you are all alone you may be feeling as though life has beat you up but I want you to know that you are defended by a God who neither sleeps nor Slumbers I want to remind you that you are guarded by the lion of the tribe of Judah you are shielded by the powerful blood of Jesus Christ I would like to read Psalm

121 it's a short chapter of only eight verses but it's a powerful reminder to all of us that our help is in the Lord While others may run to different things or run to hide in man-made bunkers we can call on the name that is above every name name the name of Jesus Christ now as I read this passage I pray that the spirit of the Lord would strengthen your faith and put your mind at ease I pray that there would be a quiet confidence within your heart even in the middle of any chaotic situation

you may be facing Psalm 121 the Bible reads I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help my help comes from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth he will not allow your foot to be moved he who keeps you will not Slumber behold he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep the Lord is your keeper the Lord is your shade at your right hand the sun shall not strike you by day nor the Moon by Night the Lord shall preserve you from all evil he shall preserve your soul

the Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even forever more I don't think as Christians we speak enough about the protection that we have as children of God the Bible tells us that the Lord is our keeper we are his possession we are under his care and I find it incredible that a god of such power and might would consider us so precious that he would watch over us as a child of God you are surrounded by Angels when you call on the name of Jesus for help

never felt before Jesus satisfies every hunger he quenches every thirst he fills the deepest longings for your soul so come to him today the Lord is patient and willing to forgive those who come to him with a broken and contrite heart Hebrews 9: 27 says and as it is appointed for men to die once but after this the Judgment with this in mind I encourage you to live with an urgency time is ticking sooner or later either you will stand before the Lord in an instant or he will return to take his church away you

and I need to live a life that is mindful of the fact that we will all be accountable for what we did for Jesus and what we didn't do will you be able to say that your life produced good fruit in the kingdom of God will you be able to say that during your days here on Earth you had eternity on your mind far too many people waste their lives on things that won't last on money power and relationships but God is not concerned with those things he is concerned with the state of your heart

what matters is how you live your life in accordance to God's word what matters is if you put Jesus Christ first at the end of your life the Lord will not ask you how much money you made he won't ask you how many friends you had or even how many good works you did he will simply want to know who you trusted for your Eternal salvation who did you serve who did you love with all your heart with all your mind and soul the only correct answer in fact the only answer is Jesus Christ the

son of God Lord Jesus I thank you for your love I thank you for your Saving Grace Your Love Lord is all encompassing it's a love that has accepted me in my sinful State and called me to repentance thank you for your mercy your mercy has afforded me to obtain eternal life your mercy has saved me from Eternal damnation because of your mercy Lord I can look forward to Everlasting joy in your presence Titus 2: 11-14 reads for the grace of God has appeared bringing salvation to all people training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly

passions and to live self-control upright and godly lives in this present age waiting for our blessed hope the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who was zealous for good works Lord Jesus you are our blessed hope you are my blessed hope Lord help me to live a Godly life in this present evil age in this age where sin is rampant where the love of many has grown cold I

pray that the holy spirit will keep the fire of Christ Burning Brightly in my heart help me Holy Spirit not to grow cold or lukewarm when it comes to All Things concerning Jesus Christ help me not to be tempted or lured into the ways of this world give me the grace and strength that I need to live a life that is upright and pure help me to live a life that demonstrates the love of Jesus Christ to all people whether saved or unsaved let my life be a living example a living testimony of God's Amazing

you alone are God teach me your way Lord that I may rely on your faithfulness give me an un divided heart that I may fear your name I will praise you Lord my God with all my heart I will glorify your name forever for Great Is Your Love toward me you have delivered me from the depths from the realm of the Dead arrogant foes are attacking me oh God Ruth people are trying to kill me they have no regard for you but you Lord are a compassionate and gracious God slow to anger abounding in love

and faithfulness turn to me and have mercy on me show your strength in behalf of your servant save me because I serve you just as my mother did give me a sign of your goodness that my enemies may see it and be put to shame for you Lord have helped me and comforted me now let us pray King Jesus we come and bow before you may your name be lifted High we come asking today for a heart of prayer a heart that seeks to Worship You A Heart That desires to praise you Holy Spirit teach

us how to pray teach us how to pray with power how to pray with boldness how to pray without ceasing Holy Spirit teach us how to pray from scripture help us to live and move with the awareness of the presence of God God your word says is anyone among you suffering let him pray so in our time of suffering help us to do just that to pray when we need help we will call on the name of Jesus Christ to be our stronghold in the day of trouble we bless your name Lord your word in

Isaiah 45:2 the Bible says I will go before you and level the mountains I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron thank you for your promises Lord go before us each and every day Master May the Holy Spirit help us to put you first in every area of Our Lives you King Jesus are first in our homes you're first in our finances you're first in our marriages nothing and no one is worthy to be competing for the number one spot in our hearts because you will alone sit on the

throne you alone are God over my life Jehovah we invite the Holy Spirit to be our teacher and lead us into all truth it's only you oh God who can level mountains It's Only You Lord who offers rest to the weary it's only you Lord Jesus who can give us true peace God I pray that you might have mercy on us look upon us mercifully even when we fall father help us in our own individual prayer lives to value and to have a sacred commitment to spending time alone with you birth a desire in us

so that we can spend time alone in your presence regularly and so that we can develop a stronger relationship with you Holy Spirit I ask that you help me to make prayer and reading God's word a priority in my life even in the midst of this busy World keep my priorities aligned with the kingdom of God God I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep our lives from controlling us from distracting us and taking us away from the presence of God help us to keep our relationship with the Lord a priority May the Holy Spirit

never stop convicting us and pulling us in your direction Lord may he never stop tugging at our hearts may he never stop calling us to the things of God help us to set our eyes and my affections on heaven to seek your presence on a daily basis Revive Our Spirits Lord and refresh our desires so that we would chase after you may the holy Spirit create a fire in me that burns brightly for the things of God a fire that seeks Jesus Christ Above All Else always Lord may you take the number one spot in

then why are you afraid why are you discouraged if God is with you who can be against you tell me what can come against you if you read acts 23 Paul was in a difficult situation he'd been arrested he was the cause of a massive uproar and he was caught in the middle of a dispute between the Pharisees and Sadducees now there's a passage of scripture that I'd like to highlight acts 23: 9-11 then there arose a loud outcry and the scribes of the Pharisees party arose and protested Ed saying we find no evil in

this man but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him let us not fight against God now when there arose a great dissension the commander fearing lest Paul might be pulled to Pieces by them commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them and bring him into the barracks but the following night the Lord stood by him and said be of good cheer Paul for as you have testified for me in Jerusalem so you must also bear witness at Rome so Paul stands accused he stands in the middle

of a very real threat of Danger on his life but verse 11 here says the following night the Lord stood by him now I'm not going to focus on what the Lord said to encourage Paul but I want you to focus on the fact that the Bible said the Lord stood by him what more do you need in this life than for God to stand by you why should you worry why should you fear or be anxious when you know that God stands beside you isn't it remarkable that just when Paul might have been forgiven

for thinking am I doing the right thing when the whole world seems to be against me just when Paul was in the firing line there was God standing beside him God was honoring him his word which says in Deuteronomy 31:8 he will never leave you nor forsake you do not be afraid do not be discouraged everything the Lord has for us is contained in these simple words he will never leave you or forsake you so listen if you're feeling like the weight of the entire world is on your shoulders just remember God is right there

beside you if you're feeling low anxious or worried take heart God stands beside you the key thing for us is to believe have faith in the Lord and He will take care of everything else sometimes in life God allows us to encounter pain and notice how I say God allows he permits us to face something difficult he allowed Paul to face many hardships as the Bible in 2 Corinthians 11: 25-26 says three times I was beaten with rods once I was stoned three times I was Shipwrecked once I spent a whole night and a day

a drift at Sea I have traveled on many long Journeys I have faced Danger from rivers and from robbers I have faced Danger from my own people the Jews as well as from the Gentiles I have faced danger in the cities in the deserts and on the Seas and I have faced Danger from men who claim to be Believers but are not now just think about how God allowed Hannah to be Barron Hannah experiened the pain and Desperation of wanting a child but her body failing her think of how God allowed Joseph to experience the

pain of betrayal from those who were closest to him so you see often times God will allow us to encounter pain but why well the Bible in Psalm 119 ver 66-77 sheds light on why God allows us to encounter pain it says teach me knowledge and good judgment for I trust your commands before I was afflicted I went astray but now I obey your word you are good and what you do is good teach me your decrees though the Arrogant have smeared me with lies I keep your precepts with all my heart their hearts are

callous and unfeeling but I Delight in your life it was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees the law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold your hands made me and formed me give me understanding to learn your commands may those who fear you rejoice when they see me for I have put my hope in your word I know Lord that your laws are righteous and that in faithfulness you have Afflicted me may your unfailing love be my comfort according to

your promise to your servant note how the psalmist says before I was afflicted I went astray but now I obey your word consider this if someone encounters painful circumstances and that pain causes them to seek God like never before to pray with intensity and fervency if those painful circumstances bring them closer to God then is that not a good work being performed in their lives I mean think about it if you never go through anything how will you learn how to pray how will you learn how to trust and rely on God listen whether we

like it or not afflictions bring us closer to God as believers they make us cling ever so tightly to his word and his promises and when God brings you through that trial your faith will most certainly be stronger so dear listener since we cannot stop pain from entering Our Lives let's pray that God will help us to use those painful moments to press in closer to him to trust and rely on him to lean into him to know him in a greater way to learn a different side of God that we would not have known

without the [Music] pain Lord thank you for caring for us thank you for promising never never to leave us or forsake us someone may be listening right now and they feel forgotten they're downtrodden and tired from the battles they faced Lord Jesus I pray that you make your presence known to anyone who is on the verge of giving up remind them that you are still by their side May the Holy Spirit remind the person who's weak and weary that there is strength in Jesus Christ May the Holy Spirit remind the person who is feeling like

an outcast may they be reminded that Jesus Christ loves them just the way they are and he welcomes you into his arms may your presence go before us King Jesus may it surround us and cover us with you on our side we fear nothing we're not discouraged by what's going on in the economy or what's happening in the world our eyes are on you a God who will strengthen us rescue us help and Deliver Us in times of trouble as your children we firmly believe that you are able to do exceedingly above anything we could

imagine or think Lord we would never be put to shame when our trust is in you I declare Hebrews 13:6 so we may bold boldly say the Lord is my helper I will not fear what can man do to me you Lord Jesus are our helper the only one who can uphold each of us with your righteous right hand whatever we need we trust you to supply it you keep us secure Lord you are the answer to every Challenge and difficulty in this life we praise you for all always being there for us looking out

for us loving and protecting us we praise you because you are a God who heals restores and makes me whole again we praise you because you are a God who has saved us from destruction and shown us loving kindness and Tender Mercies I will bless your holy name as long as I live I will lift up my hands and praise Only You Lord Jesus Holy Spirit help me to have a heart filled with praise so that when things are good I will bless the Lord with all my soul and all that is within me I

will praise His holy name and when life is challenging or difficult I will still bless the Lord with all my soul and all that is within me I will praise His holy name I Praise You Lord Jesus because you are the one who can quench my thirsty soul you are the one who Faithfully loves me and you alone are the one who can make me feel new and refreshed again it's in your presence that I'm made whole I praise you because of your abundant and unfailing mercies for as long as I'm alive I will lift

you are vulnerable to spiritual attacks you need to understand that the forces of Darkness operate in darkness both spiritually and in the physical too the devil is cunning and he certainly doesn't play fair he will wait until you've let your guard down and you are dull in your spiritual senses because of a lack of prayer that's when he will attack but today I want to encourage you and remind you of the protection we have in Jesus Christ the devil may try whatever he wants but we are guarded by Jesus Christ we are shielded by Jesus

about that for you are a vapor the Bible says in the grand scheme of Eternity you appear for a little time and then you vanish tomorrow is not promised tomorrow is not in our hands at any given moment the Lord could call us home are you living your life with an urgency for the things of Christ because if you truly believe that tomorrow is not promised then you will live with a purpose everything you do should be done with a view of Eternity with each passing second each minute and every hour we are edging closer

to an appointed time when we will stand before God and give an account for what we have done with our lives so now is the time to get right and build a close relationship with Jesus Christ now is the time to work and to serve the kingdom of God now is the time to fully surrender to Jesus Christ don't put it off a second longer there is no no reason to wait there is joy in him there is eternal life in him when you stop wrestling with God and let him transform your life you will

experience a freedom like you have never felt before Jesus satisfies every hunger he quenches every thirst he fills the deepest longings for your soul so come to him today the Lord is patient and willing to forgive those who come to him with a broken and contrite heart Hebrews 9: 27 says and as it is appointed for men to die once but after this the Judgment with this in mind I encourage you to live with an urgency time is ticking sooner or later either you will stand before the Lord in an instant or he will return

to take his church away you and I need to live a life that is mindful of the fact that we will all be accountable for what we did for Jesus and what we didn't do will you be able to say that your life produced good fruit in the kingdom of God will you be able to say that during your days here on Earth you add eternity on your mind far too many people waste their lives on things that won't last on money power and relationships but God is not concerned with those things he is concerned

with the state of your heart what matters is how you live your life in accordance to God's word what matters is if you put Jesus Christ first at the end of your life the Lord will not ask you how much money you made he won't ask you how many friends you had or even how many good works you did he will simply want to know who you trusted for your Eternal salvation who did you serve who did you love with all your heart with all your mind and soul the only correct answer in fact the

us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled upright and godly lives in this present age waiting for our blessed hope the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who was zealous for good works Lord Jesus you are our blessed hope you are my blessed hope Lord help me to live a Godly life in this present evil age in this age where sin is rampant where the love

forsake you so then why are you afraid why are you discouraged if God is with you who can be against you tell me what can come against you if you read acts 23 Paul was in a difficult situation he'd been arrested he was the cause of a massive uproar and he was caught in the middle of a dispute between the Pharisees and Sadducees now there's a passage of scripture that I'd like to highlight acts 23: 9- 11 then there arose a loud outcry and the scribes of the Pharisees party arose and protested saying we find

no evil in this man but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him let us not fight against God now when there arose a great dissension the commander fearing lest Paul might be pulled to Pieces by them commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them and bring him into the barracks but the following night the Lord stood by him and said be of good cheer Paul for as you have testified for me in Jerusalem so you must also bear witness at Rome so Paul stands accused he stands

in the middle of a very real threat of Danger on his life but verse 11 here says the following night the Lord stood by him now I'm not going to focus on what the Lord said to encourage Paul but I want you to focus on the fact that the Bible said the Lord stood by him what more do you need in this life than for God to stand by you why should you worry why should you fear or be anxious when you know that God stands beside you isn't it remarkable that just when Paul might

have been forgiven for thinking am I doing the right thing when the whole world seems to be against me just when Paul was in the firing line there was God standing beside him God was honoring his word which says in Deuteronomy 31:8 he will never leave you nor forsake you do not be afraid do not be discouraged everything the Lord Lord has for us is contained in these simple words he will never leave you or forsake you so listen if you're feeling like the weight of the entire world is on your shoulders just remember God

is right there beside you if you're feeling low anxious or worried take heart God stands beside you the key thing for us is to believe have faith in the the Lord and He will take care of everything else sometimes in life God allows us to encounter pain and notice how I say God allows he permits us to face something difficult he allowed Paul to face many hardships as the Bible in 2 Corinthians 11: 25-26 says three times I was beaten with rods once I was stoned three times I was Shipwrecked once I spent a whole

night and a day a drift at Sea I have traveled on many long Journeys I have faced Danger from rivers and from robbers I have faced Danger from my own people the Jews as well as from the Gentiles I have faced danger in the cities in the deserts and on the Seas and I have faced Danger from men who claim to be Believers but are not now just think about how God allowed Hannah to be Baron Hannah experienced the pain and Desperation of wanting a child but her body failing her think of how God allowed

Joseph to experience the pain of betrayal from those who were closest to him so you see often times God will allow us to encounter pain pain but why well the Bible in Psalm 119 vers 66 through 77 sheds light on why God allows us to encounter pain it says teach me knowledge and good judgment for I trust your commands before I was afflicted I went astray but now I obey your word you are good and what you do is good teach me your decrees though the Arrogant have smeared me with lies I keep your precepts

with all my heart their hearts are callous and unfeeling but I Delight in your law it was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees the law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold you your hands made me and formed me give me understanding to learn your commands may those who fear you rejoice when they see me for I have put my hope in your word I know Lord that your laws are righteous and that in faithfulness you have Afflicted me may

your unfailing love be my comfort according to your promise to your servant note how the psalmist says before I was afflicted I went astray but now I obey your word consider this if someone encounters painful circumstances and that pain causes them to seek God like never before to pray with intensity and fervency if those painful circumstances bring them closer to God then is that not a good work being performed in their lives I mean think about it if you never go through anything how will you learn how to pray how will you learn how to

trust and rely on God listen whether we like it or not afflictions bring us closer to God as believers they make us cling ever so tightly to his word and his promises and when God brings you through that trial your faith will most certainly be stronger so dear listener since we cannot stop pain from entering Our Lives let's pray that God will help us to use those painful moments to press in closer to him to trust and rely on him to lean into him to know him in a greater way to learn a different side

of God that we would not have known without the pain Lord thank you for caring for us thank you for promising never to leave us or forsake us someone may be listening right now and they feel forgotten they're downtrodden and tired from the battles they faced Lord Jesus I pray that you make your presence known to anyone who is on the verge of giving up remind them that you are still by their side May the Holy Spirit remind the person who's weak and weary that there is strength in Jesus Christ May the Holy Spirit remind

the person who is feeling like an outcast may they be reminded that Jesus Christ loves them just the way they are and he welcomes you into his arms may your presence go before us King Jesus may it surround us and cover us with you on our side we fear nothing we're not discouraged by what's going on in the economy or what's happening in the world our eyes are on you a God who will strengthen us rescue us help and Deliver Us in times of trouble as your children we we firmly believe that you are able

to do exceedingly above anything we could imagine or think Lord we would never be put to shame when our trust is in you I declare Hebrews 13:6 so we may boldly say the Lord is my helper I will not fear what can man do to me you Lord Jesus are our helper the only one who can uphold each of us With Your Righteous right hand whatever we need we trust you to supply it you keep us secure Lord you are the answer to every Challenge and difficulty in this life we praise you for always being

there for us looking out for us loving and protecting us we praise you because you are a God who heals restores and makes me whole again we praise you because you are a God who has saved us from destruction and shown us loving kindness and Tender Mercies I will bless your holy name as long as I live I will lift up my hands and praise Only You Lord Jesus Holy Spirit help me to have a heart filled with praise so that when things are good I will bless the Lord with all my soul and all

that is within me I will praise His holy name and when life is challenging or difficult I will still bless the Lord with all my soul and all that is within me I will praise His holy name I Praise You Lord Jesus because you are the one who can quench my thirsty Soul you are the one who Faithfully loves me and you alone are the one who can make me feel new and refreshed again it's in your presence that I'm made whole I praise you because of your abundant and unfailing mercies for as long as

lukewarm and that's because you're neither hot nor cold you're neither here or there there's no urgency about you and there sure enough isn't any fire to your prayers however I want to emphasize the importance of prayer we need the Lord to watch over us and to protect us the Bible says in Mark 14: 38 Watch and Pray so that you will not fall into temptation the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak you see when you are comfortable and prayerless you are in your weakest State as a Believer and friends let me tell you

something when you are prayerless you are vulnerable to spiritual attacks you need to understand that the forces of Darkness operate in darkness both spiritually and in the physical too the devil is cunning and he certainly doesn't play fair he will wait until you've let your guard down and you are dull in your spiritual senses because of a lack of prayer that's when he will attack but today I want to encourage you and remind you of the protection we have in Jesus Christ the devil may try whatever he wants but we are guarded by Jesus Jesus

Christ we are shielded by Jesus Christ the blood of Jesus Christ has formed a perimeter around our homes the angel of the Lord encamps at our residence when we call on the name of the father I encourage you not to fear whatever comes your way because Jesus Christ is a mighty protector he is a savior Jesus Christ will cover you and block the enemy so each and every day I encourage you to pray for the Divine protection that comes only from the Son of God it's the kind of protection that rebukes the enemy and exposes

his plans it gives no power to spiritual attacks David a man after God's Own Heart said in Psalm 119 ver 62 at midnight I Rise to praise you because of your righteous rules I don't know who needs to hear this but you may be thinking that you are all alone you may be feeling as though life has beat you up but I want you to know that you are defended by a God who neither sleeps nor Slumbers I want to remind you that you are guarded by the the lion of the tribe of Judah you

are shielded by the powerful blood of Jesus Christ I would like to read Psalm 121 it's a short chapter of only eight verses but it's a powerful reminder to all of us that our help is in the Lord While others may run to different things or run to hide in man-made bunkers we can call on the name that is is above every name the name of Jesus Christ now as I read this passage I pray that the spirit of the Lord would strengthen your faith and put your mind at ease I pray that there would

be a quiet confidence within your heart even in the middle of any chaotic situation you may be facing Psalm 121 the Bible reads I will lift up my eyes to the kills from whence comes my help my help comes from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth he will not allow your foot to be moved he who keeps you will not Slumber behold he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep the Lord is your keeper the Lord is your shade at your right hand the sun shall not not strike you by day nor the

Moon by Night the Lord shall preserve you from all evil he shall preserve your soul the Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even forever more I don't think as Christians we speak enough about the protection that we have as children of God the Bible tells us that the Lord is our keeper we are his possession we are under his care and I find it incredible that a god of such power and might would consider us so precious that he would watch over us as a child of

God you are surrounded by Angels when you call on the name of Jesus for help rest easy be at peace with the full knowledge and assurance that there is power Wonder workking power in the Precious Blood of the Lamb the God who protects us is unconquerable he is Almighty he knows us individually He Loves Us perfectly he provides for our every need and he most certainly protects us now let us pray I bless your name Lord Jesus you are worthy to be praised and lifted High you are worthy to be praised and exalted I come

to you today asking for your help and intervention for everyone who is listening and in need move within our circumstances Lord move within our situations father some people may Place their trust in doctors and scientists in medicine and human knowledge but we place our trust in you King Jesus we understand that our help comes from you Lord you are all that we want and need Psalm 121: 3-4 says he will not allow your foot to be moved he who keeps you will not Slumber behold he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep I thank

power that you neither sleep nor Slumber in you we are confident and secure we are safe and at peace because the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob watches over us and our families you Almighty father the one who keeps us safe at night and protected during the day thank you for wrapping your loving arms around us thank you Lord for your blessing of protection that is Upon Our Lives you keep us safe and sound from sun up to sun down we give you glory Lord because you Shield us from the attacks of the enemy and

you block Every dart that comes our way some trust in chariots some trust in horses but as for me and my house as for me and every single person listening we declare that we will trust in the name of the Lord Our God I will trust in you Jesus because your word says in Psalm 20 verse 6 now I know that the Lord saves his anointed he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand today we confess victory over all of life's troubles we speak victory over all of

and to have a sacred commitment to spending time alone with you birth a desire in US so that we can spend time alone in your presence regularly and so that we can develop a stronger relationship with you Holy Spirit I ask that you help me to make prayer and reading God's word a priority in my life even in the midst of this busy World keep my priorities aligned with the kingdom of God I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep our lives from controlling us from distracting us and taking us away from the presence of
