Our brothers and companions on the earthly journey have short physical lives, compared to humans, but like us, they have an immortal and constantly evolving spirit. Animals such as insects do not yet have an individual emotional identity, functioning as a kind of collective intelligence. More evolved beings, such as mammals and birds, do have individualized spirits, at different degrees of evolution.

Every living creature in the universe created by a simple and ignorant God is compelled to fight for the conquest of reason. It's a long way. Through tens of millions of incarnations, the animal soul, in a very distant future, will also begin its experience in the human species or in some similar species, always advancing towards increasingly higher levels of consciousness.

One day reasoning will overcome instinct, but for now animals have no karma as they do not have free will. They are therefore not responsible for their actions. As they are not aware of themselves, they are not subject to the expiatory process.

For spiritualism, some animals have what can be considered mediumship, as they can sense something in the air and are usually right. Furthermore, they act as antennas that capture the negative energy of people who do not wish their owners well. Animals are assisted in their disincarnation by specialized spirits, who receive them on the spiritual plane, both those who do not yet have individual souls, as well as those who are more evolved.

At the time of reincarnation there is an attraction between animals, both those that live in groups and those that are reincarnated domesticated. The aim is to bring together the spirits that have already lived together, which facilitates the elaboration of feelings, something fundamental for the evolution of the spirit. Animals, especially domestic animals like dogs and cats, learn from us, their brothers and teachers.

During the time they remain by our side, they go through various experiences. And it is possible and even quite common that they remain for some time alongside their owners in spirit, after they pass away. And they also return to the same home several times, inhabiting other bodies.
