your audience is everything so I wanted to share with you the steps that I would take if I had a small audience and my goal was to generate $100,000 in the next six months it might seem like an overnight success but trust me this is a Tim tested method that takes focus and real effort I'm going to break it all down for you step by step in this video and it all starts with monetizing something you already have which we'll get into in a second to make 100K in the next 6 months that's $16,700 per
month sounds like a lot but let's break it down even more so 10 payments of $1,670 per month six payments of $2,783 per month three payments of $556 a month month and two payments of $835 a month you get the idea the question is where do these payments come from and how do you monetize your YouTube channel in a way that actually makes this possible well we're not going to make any videos before we take some very critical steps to making this all work together cohesively so the first step is to identify your ideal viewer
this isn't just somebody who's going to watch your videos but they're actually willing to invest in learning from you so here's how you do it first of all we need to reverse engineer so remember I said you're going to monetize something you already have which is your knowledge why well we know that YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world owned by the largest search engine in the world therefore people are coming onto the platform three billion searches are happening on this platform every single day and what does that tell you well people
are searching for all different kinds of topics with the intent to actually learn solve a problem answer a question so when you use this platform in this way it is the first step to really being able to monetize your knowledge and reach a viewer who like I said not only wants to consume your content but actually wants to invest in learning from you so we have to reverse engineer why would this person be looking on YouTube in the first place and this comes down to what you already have your knowledge okay so it starts with
identifying two questions and answering them for yourself what can you teach and number two who would benefit the most from what you teach and that is this ideal Vier and no topic is off limits I've worked with people who have built wildly successful businesses around everything from dancing to DJing to guitar lessons to everything in between so whatever you know you have an ability to teach that's where we're going to start so that seamlessly brings us into the Second Step so now that we know who we want to reach with the content what do they
need not just want what do they need to know so in the example I shared above Denver's ideal viewer was men who were in marriages or long-term relation relationships who wanted to save their families and their relationships so then we want to take it a step further so we kind of know where they're at and what they need to know and then we want to identify what that viewer would be searching for and there's an easy way to do this so go to YouTube Type in just one problem that your ideal viewer might be facing
and look at all the topics that come up as the suggested searches and all the topics that come up in the search results and then you're going to build a preliminary list of four topics so in this example things like how to stop a divorce how to fix a broken marriage how to communicate better with my wife how to save a marriage from divorce rebuild trust in a marriage so how do you identify these topics outside of just leveraging that easy tactic to go onto YouTube and search for problems that your ideal viewer might be
facing well we're going to think about these buckets we have FAQs so frequently asked questions that would be coming from that ideal viewer when they're in the most pain when they need your help and need to learn what you have to offer we're going to think about challenges what are some of the challenges that they could be facing and then the final piece would be just simply thinking through all of the problems they would be faced with that they need to find a solution to in order to achieve the outcome that they're looking for out
of learning from you and what this does is it creates a searchable list of topics and that is vital to actually monetizing your knowledge on YouTube because like I said the end of the day yes it's an entertainment platform but is a search platform Above All Else and when you use it in that way and you use that functionality you are positioning yourself to build authority to build trust to build influence and to build a potential list of buyers from your viewers so really what that's doing is it's building this solid content plan to ensure
every topic tracks that ideal viewer which is why the quality of your audience is so much more important than the size of your audience so once you know this you can use YouTube as a business vehicle to attract potential clients and customers and you don't need a massive audience like I said you just need to find the right people or better they need to find you because you're leveraging the right topics that they need to see so like I said if you want to see that detailed case study on how Denver turn 96 subscribers into

is super important so the next part of the strategy is probably the most important piece that most people miss and it's why they end up creating a bunch of content that gets them nowhere and they're not able to actually turn YouTube into a vehicle for their business and Genera an income from it so it is the conversion strategy so again we are still not making any videos or any content this is how much thought has to go into it before you actually make the content why because we need content so that would be a video
plus a very clear and very intentional call to action you need to pair those things together so when I talk about this I always want to Think Through the ideal client Journey because there is a different sales Journey for every single person that you're going to attract when it comes to your content and to YouTube so you have to think about it from this perspective if we have a viewer up here who is new to the concept that you're teaching so they aren't really thinking about it in a way where it's super urgent for example
in Denver's case let's just say this person just got married they have no marital problems right now but they're just being proactive and thinking through like how can I make sure that I don't end up in a divorce this person has no pain or urgency they're just dabbling so the sales cycle for this person up here is going to be much longer than the sales cycle for this person down here in this case the person who's in the middle of the funnel might be at a place where they're just starting to have some hiccups in
their marriage it's starting to become more frequent so I'm going to say challenges are popping up here so they're starting to seek out help and to learn but again they're not in a dire position whereas this person maybe their wife has already left maybe they're in a position where they're already really struggling in their marriage and they're not sure they can hang on much longer so divorce is imminent when you think about it this way who of these people is going to do the work and actually have the desire to make a change happen this
person here so when we want to think about creating content on YouTube this is why a big audience doesn't matter we want to speak to the people who are in the most pain and the most urgency because those are the people who are going to take it seriously they're going to do the work and they're going to get a result from what you are teaching and ultimately that's what we're after we're after creating an impact and so to take this a step further it's often complicated when people think about well now that I know who
I'm trying to reach and I understand the idea of I have to have my content plus I need to send them somewhere well where do I send them and we'll get lost in the sea of creating a webinar or creating a lead Magnet or something like that the easiest way to get started on this is simply just put a calendar Link in your video to have people book a call with you so that you can really get to know your ideal viewer in a way that helps you understand how to speak to them on an
even deeper level which helps you create better content for them create a deeper impact and attract much more in terms of Ideal clients ideal viewers and building that Authority in that community so your call to action in the easiest simplest way is going to be book a call with you on your calendar so in this video where you're speaking to this person you're just going to say if you need further help with this the work that I do and I'm passionate about if you'd like to learn more just simply book a call below so this
is the easiest way to really get started to start generating leads from your YouTube channel pretty much today um because it doesn't require a setup all you need is a calendar link which is very easy to do and takes all of five minutes if that but eventually you're going to want to have an entry level offer and what I mean by that is you're going to want to have something like a what I talked about earlier webinar vssl to send these people to so you can educate them and nurture them so that if they do
find themselves in this position you're the person they're going to go to because you're remaining top of Mind by getting them onto your email list by having them opt in to something like this now in this place we're also going to send them to a webinar or BSL and these people are going to be again at a place where they maybe need a little more depth and help and when it comes to this top level here you don't even need to offer this you could very simply just offer an ebook PDF checklist something that is
very simple to create to just get them onto your email list because what happens is when you have your content you provide the call to action regardless of if they opt in for a webinar vssl eBook PDF checklist or they book a call what happens is they get added to an email list your email list and this is crucial and I'll explain more about that a little bit later so simply put you're just going to offer something that's relevant to your ideal viewer to help them for free in exchange for their email address and that's
going to help you build out your email list so why is an email list so vital to creating an actual business off of YouTube because you own your email list you don't own YouTube you don't own Instagram you don't own any other platform the algorithms can change and also sometimes they just aren't going to work in your favor the way that you want to so what this does is it actually builds your own audience and it allows you the freedom to be able to get in touch with this audience on your terms you're not trying
to play to the algorithm you actually can make the algorithm work for you why because every time that you post a YouTube video what's the first thing you're going to do from day one we are building our email list using our YouTube videos based on what I just shared content plus call to action and then every time you post a video you're sending your email list to your YouTube video that's crucial because this email list is hypert targeted it's the exact audience you want it's your ideal viewers so what are they going to do they're
going to go to YouTube they're going to give it a like they're going to actually watch the video which gives it retention and tells the algorithm this is a great piece of content and then what happens from there YouTube then goes oh I need to send this to more people just like this so then you start to attract more of that ideal viewer with a lot less effort on your part because the algorithm actually starts working in your face so your email list is the most valuable asset you have in an online business so the
next step is packaging your content again not making a video yet we're simply thinking about well what's going to address the right person and when they see the video show up in their search results suggested or browse what's going to make them click so packaging comes down to two really crucial pieces that nail and title these two things work in combination to provide you with a high CTR which stands for a click-through rate and again we are not looking for everybody on the planet to click on your video we are looking for the right people
to click on the video because those right people will eventually be people that actually want to invest in working with you so some golden rules for your thumbnail and for your title in terms of the thumbnail your ideal viewer should be able to know exactly what your video is about without actually reading the title it should be a visual representation of what the video is going to provide to them in terms of an outcome and in terms of your title it is so important to make it as specific as possible especially in the beginning and
especially if you're planning on monetizing your YouTube content in the way that we're talking about today so this is how you capture the Right audience for smaller channels focus on longtail keywords which are more specific and way easier to rank for in these search results so a real world example of this in this case let's say the title could be how to stop divorce that is an okay title any idea why it's not a great title in this case well because this could be for anybody on any point of that Journey they could be just
married with no problems in their marriage or they could be all the way at the end where divorce is imminent but we really only want to focus on capturing the people who need us the most and need our help and our impact the most so that title becomes how men can stop divorce when their wife has stopped communicating with them I know that sounds long but when your ideal viewer who is in the most amount of pain and needs your help the most sees this they're going to go that's for me what does that do
on a very technical and tactical level it gives you a viewer who is highly engaged they're not just clicking and going away from the video which gives you lower attention which tells YouTube that it's a crap video it's a viewer that's going to sit there and watch the video and actually be invested which again is going to lead that to that ideal viewer who actually would be interested in working with you so what is the difference between how to stop divorce and this title well specific person so how to stop divorce could also appeal to
anybody in a marriage man woman doesn't matter could appeal to anybody so we need specific person and specific situation and circumstances that helps you create a very specific title for the right person so how men can stop divorce when their wife has stopped communicating with them who does that speak to it speaks to that person who's really in a dire situation and the most ready to actually do the work get results and invest in a solution so this is a fun little thing that I like like to do is create these titles so another example
of this would be uh for example you might want to go on YouTube and become a guru in the business space you'd make a video on how to grow a business wrong what would make a lot more sense is you think have to think about the person and the specific situation so for example how to grow an e-commerce business to its first $50,000 in sales that is a perfect title to attract the right viewer so that brings us to step five of what I would do to generate that 100K in six months with a small
chance channel so content that converts I know we've talked about this but I want to talk about the actual structure of the meat inside of your video so remember when I said Denver just took old videos that generated zero results for him and he just had his 16-year-old son edit them according to our method and then he uploaded those videos to a new channel and that led to generating clients on autopilot so this is how most people create a YouTube video topic talk about the topic see you later what does that do it means people
are watching your content then forgetting about you that's not the point of this so we use something called the hot script formula and what this looks like is it ensures that you have a very clear call to action and destination to send your viewers to outside of just watching your YouTube video and forgetting so what is hot actually stand for well it stands for hook outcome and testimonial so your script should hook viewers clearly explain what the outcome is that they're going to get from the video because imagine there is an inundation of information on
the internet and when somebody is actually in real pain and needs help the last thing they want to do is sift through a bunch of videos where people are talking nonsense for the first three minutes until they finally get to the point you want to get to the point quickly so that people can trust that they're in the right place and they don't have to go seeking content other places this is a huge competitive advantage and it positions you as a true Authority that people actually want to listen to and then finally the last piece
is what we call the testimonial piece which means what makes you qualified to actually talk about this and support people so that could be simply saying this is something I've done for myself or I've helped X number of people do this as well so all that needs to be done within the first minute to Max 90 seconds of the video and most importantly in the hot script formula there are call to actions peppered throughout the video a minimum of three so that when this person is watching this video and they're going man this this person
really knows what they're talking about I need their help they actually have somewhere to go to take further action to learn from you so there needs to be ctas times 3 in video so step number six most importantly I think is views over subs subs really don't matter all that much your views are everything so even if you have a channel already and you're like well I have really been doing any of this you can start now you're either going to start now with the channel that's existing and go through the same process or you
are going to do this with a brand new channel but either way it's going to be the same path so the reason why I say that is because when we focus on the ideal viewer you're going to start bringing in targeted viewers and then you're going to actually be able to convert them into whatever it is that you ultimately end up selling which we're going to talk about in a second because I know we haven't even gotten there yet so all of this is crucial before we can get to that step so views really do
matter much more than subscribers and if you do have a relevant audience elsewhere we want to push them to your YouTube channel to send it positive signals why so the YouTube flywheel that I created after doing this for so many years with so many different people around the world looks like this so we have the ideal viewer which we have really harped on here the ideal viewer is again not just somebody who consumes your content but somebody who's actually going to be interested in working with you and investing into what you know from there we
have to create highly relevant content so we talked about that in the content strategy and from there so relevant content means content that actually matters to this person and from there what happens is the algorithm starts to categorize your channel and from there once the algorithm starts to learn who and what you want to be known for and who you're trying to reach ultimately then it's going to start using its internal traffic sources to push more of those viewers to your content again with less of your effort and that's really the thing to focus on
we're going to talk about how you actually focus on that and analyze that a little later in the video okay so what in the world are you actually selling step seven product ties so in Denver's case he was like okay I'm just going to go on YouTube I'm make a bunch of content and that's how I'm going to build my business that misses a crucial piece so YouTube That's information when you productize your knowledge it means that you are actually offering a transformation we call this a Zero to Hero Journey that you provide to your
ideal viewer inside of a program and a curriculum and it takes somebody who is really in need of help and gives them a blueprint in the most efficient way to get the result that they're looking for instead of having to sift through all of this YouTube content they found you they trust you and yes they've taken in your information and this is where they're actually going to have the blueprint to take that action to get the result so let's talk about what that means I recommend offering an online program for your ideal viewers and that's
how our clients are able to monetize that's how Denver monetized his YouTube channel with 96 subscribers and generated over $100,000 but most importantly this product this digital product this online program needs to be highly aligned with the YouTube content that you are creating and the viewers that you are attracting and here's the beautiful thing you can sell an online program from day one and you can start attracting ideal clients from day one from YouTube your very first subscriber or viewer might become your first customer it's happened so the key here is offering a prepackaged curriculum
that solves a real problem for your audience you don't need to wait to have thousands of subscribers to actually start generating clients and leads and sales from your YouTube content so remember how we broke down 100K earlier in the video that's where this comes in the thing you selling is your online program it is the transformation you are selling the transformation that you can offer to that ideal viewer so I have a lot of videos and how to create a successful online course and I will share one of my favorites at the end of this
video so you can get the full road map of how to do that all right the moment we've been waiting for we've now done all the preliminary work to make sure that you are set up for success in creating a monetizable YouTube channel outside of Affiliates AdSense brand sponsorships Etc and you can really own and take the power back in terms of how you really want to build this business so now we actually create how exciting right so when you're just starting production value matters way less than the value of the information you're sharing I
started with a window and a webcam so focus on content that speaks directly to the ideal viewers needs so that's going to use something we call the code method and how you create it so this allows you to crack the code on YouTube so what this stands for is content is King obviously you need to make relevant content for that ideal viewer that's why we've done all this work to date and then optimizing that content to make sure that it is set up to reach the right person and has the right thumbnail title script package
so that it actually can convert and then from there developing it meaning filming it from start to finish in the most optimal way and then expansion so so getting off of YouTube and expanding your reach by sharing the video to that email list that we built of Ideal viewers so you build your own audience and basically beat the algorithm and any other platforms that you might have where that ideal viewer audience does live so you now have everything in place to turn each video into an incom and impact machine that works when you're not working
and they're ready to be published to start working for you so this is how with a very small audience it's do doable to generate a very serious income so you now have everything in place to turn each video into an income and impact machine and they're ready to be published to start working for you when you're not working which is how with a very small audience it's doable to generate a serious income in a relatively short period of time because this is incredibly intentional incredibly well thought out and Incredibly strategic now let the games begin
so we really don't know what works on YouTube until we start publishing content but we have done this in a way where it is highly intentional to make it a success from the beginning and even with a really small audience so from here we need to analyze and adjust and this never ends you are always going to be studying your metrics your metrics are the key to long-term success so once you've started posting videos it's time to analyze that data study your watch time engagement and retention which videos are keeping viewers the longest what content
is driving the most traffic to your lead Magnet or to book a call tracking these metrics helps you double down on what's working and this is how you optimize your content and grow incredibly strategically and without as much effort because you know what you need to do so the most important metrics are CTA which is that combo of thumbnail and title retention Because unless people are clicking on the video they aren't going to watch it so CTA has to come first and then the biggest thing that I look at is qualitative feedback so that is
comments and I love comments it's like a love language for me so paying close attention to these pieces will really give you a good indication of What kinds of content is generating the biggest return and the most impact for you your business and for your ideal client and viewer and beyond that a big thing to study is audience demos why you want to look at this is you do want to make sure that the content is reaching the Right audience so is it in the right sort of age range and demographic information that's going to
tell you if the work that you're putting in is going to ultimately pay off and if you need to course correct at all and what's really amazing is remember I said in the flywheel that I talked about earlier one of the biggest pieces is that algorithm categorization and you can actually measure this as you start to create content so you'll see what kinds of channels you're being lumped in with on YouTube and that will give you a a very clear indicator as to whether or not you're on the right track and at the end of
the day you can always reset and leverage this strategy to make sure that you're on the right path to attract the right people to ultimately turn your YouTube channel into a thriving business that has a huge impact on the people who need you the most and this brings us to the last step so we have everything we need to be able to scale and grow not only your audience but your business so YouTube is one of the best marketing tools because it's a pull not a push platform that's why I've been on this platform for
close to a decade you magnetize people to you when they need you most because they're actually searching and seeking you out so as you grow aim to be everywhere your ideal client is looking this means creating content that answers their most pressing questions solving their problems and offering value every step of the way so your goal is to become the authority in your Niche and that means that you are everywhere that they are are looking to build that trust when your audience trusts you they will want to work with you and you become the no-brainer
choice and this means that one view can become one client meaning quality of views matters Above All Else as I said and that is how you can hit that 100K goal within six months even with a teeny tiny little audience 10 views could become 10 payments six views could become six payments three views could become three payments two views could become two payments and so on and so forth so Denver like I said was able to do this in a really effective way by following our methodology and we created a free case study that you
