at it the sky was filling up quick with black and gray smoke and the gases are toxic so I tried to make sure that the basement is as airtight as possible and we are just waiting for some news on what we should do next but uh we don't know how long we have to stay here uh or if the house is getting buried as we speak all we hear now is the storm it's getting stronger and the floor above is shaking and we can hear things above smashing onto the floor so I think a couple

of our Windows might be broken and uh the wind is just sweeping straight through our house the basement door is rattling like crazy I don't know if you can hear that but um it sounds like it's going to be blown off it's hinges at any moment I hope to God it's not but uh yeah that was a massive eruption and uh it was the most terrifying thing I've ever witnessed I mean the sky was dark anyway with the storm and all that but then it almost got Pitch Black in a matter of seconds uh Darkness

just enveloped the sky the house and the sitting room was just black I could hardly see a thing it was so Eerie like what the people in pompe must have seen but uh I don't think we're in any danger of like lava or nothing like that we're uphill and uh the volcano are higher than us but there's like a valley that separates us so uh uh yeah I think we're saved from the lava as for the ash probably not I'm just hoping that the thr blows at someplace else as bad as that sounds cuz it

will land where other people are but uh I don't want it Landing here we're dealing with enough and uh yeah it's just crazy what we're witnessing right now 3 days ago the Sun was shining I was sitting in the backyard by the pool all was good not a cloud in the sky it was calm all the birds were singing everybody going about their business and now this you know we heard news about the meteorite being honest we didn't think much of it but uh in the space of about an hour the weather started turning nasty

that's not unusual but uh the wind just started picking up in speed and intensity and we were like oh something bad is happening here the neighbors were saying it too but uh we didn't put two and two together until we heard the uh the emergency announcement system saying that the change in the weather was as a direct result of the meteorite like it had tilted the Earth's axis or whatever and uh triggered all this that we're seeing now so now in this area we currently have a hurricane sweeping through the area massive flooding tornadoes way
