NYC after a 13-Hour Night Shift as a Doctor

we're in New York 13-hour shift just get out of the house be [Music] independent okay it's currently 9:29 in the morning Sunday the 27th of October I've just finished with all my night shifts for a while and I'm going to the states for 2 weeks I've been literally waiting for this day to come honestly needed a break so usually our night shifts start at 9900 p. m. and finish at 900 a.

m. so they're 12h hour shifts but last night in the UK clocks have gone back an hour which meant even though we started at the same time and finished at the same time as usual we got in a 13-hour shift and it's funny how some of the nurses were talking about how they got this exact night shift last year but they never got paid for that extra hour they worked for of course we're going to put some sunscreen at this morning time now let's drive I'm excited [Music] [Music] [Music] we're trying to find an Italian dinner place she has way too many starred places in New York [Music] [Music] [Music] if you're wondering how I can still laugh after seeing those prices considering how UK doctors start on just £3 above minimum wage here is my pay lip and I'm on £15 per hour well it's because I pulled off this trip practically for free I live in this Hospital accommodation that costs 750 per month so I saved up all my annual leave canceled my rent for that month and use the money to cover my flights and food of course staying with friends made it all possible so thank you to them but with flexible rent and a bit of planning travel can be more affordable than we [Music] think so we're here to celebrate my 1 million subscribers on Youtube yay [Music] [Music] [Music] thank God thank God thank God for this and thank you yeah that's it honestly I'm just [Music] thankful I'm excited I'm just saying I'm excited to the [Music] camera one year anniversary yeah one year anniversary of our trouble I'm thinking like what a great time for me to hit 1 million subscribers on YouTube I'm so grateful because I'm here in New York with my besties hly if I was back in the UK sometimes I'm bit of a [Music] loner ah it feels so good to be out of the house early in the morning because in my friendship group I'm the only person who's a morning person so I usually just wake up early and like wait around and like waste my time until they wake up so I was like do you know what today's my last day in New York let me get out of the house independently and not wait for people and that's what I did and it feels great I don't know what was holding me back before to be honest it's just just get out of the house be yourself be independent [Music] of course to explore the city without relying on my friend's Hotpot or hunting for Wi-Fi I need my own internet [Music] connection I use s's esm I've been there paying customer for a while used it last summer in Italy too before they reached out to me because s offers affordable transparent prices with no extra fees abroad and I can buy data right before my trip for instant internet as soon as I learn it's available in all these countries and once you install SES ASM you can use it across multiple countries with 24/7 support if needed you can download s's app or go to s.
