and then i got to know you and i was like he's a prophet i knew you're gonna say because that is a question that we've had so many times but to be honest it's his fault it wasn't my fault can i say what it was okay she secured the date oh is even a ladies man yep so ladies and gentlemen today we are revealing some juicy super super juicy he can't even run his own channel okay so as you can tell by her feistiness this is gonna be a good one so sat with me today is a woman of many things my assistant my creative director gadgy um support a green seahawk many many things so amara and i have been friends for six years since we were 14. 50. okay 15.
so six years okay yeah exactly so i've always said like 10 years plus so we've been close friends for six years and amara actually joined the company uh a year ago so that actually goes against one of the biggest rules i always talk about which don't work with friends don't work with family but i don't know why he just like the vibe was right no i was right he trusts me exactly it's a role which need a lot of trust so i put out on my social media and i said go ahead ask as many questions they want for my assistant for one of my close friends um because i'll see you in a very unique position so we've got some very interesting ones pertaining to me pertaining to you pertaining to the company in general but before we get started just a heads up amara has what 700 subscribers at the woman close to close to 700. we're trying to get her to the point where she can monetize so that means a thousand subscribers and 4 000 watch time so let's try to get the thousand subscribers on point now as you guys know on the main channel i also give away a pair of gadget blue light blockers well here's what i'm gonna do uh today when we're uploading it'll be thursday so by next week's uh weekly upload so you guys have seven days if we get to if we or if we get a mara it's a thousand subscribers i'm not going to give away one pair of blue blockers i'm gonna give away five pairs of blue light blockers so all you have to do is like this video subscribe tomorrow's channel and then comment down below and then on next week's uh next week's video we'll go ahead and we'll put five winners if by that time amar has gone into a thousand subscribers appreciate it all right so without further ado let's get straight into some of the questions pretty easy one to start what's your favorite gadget piece ever created so far okay definitely the g ones like i've i've always said to iman like what's up with these t-shirts like let's make it a bit more sophisticated up in here so the g1s are a vibe for sure so amara was definitely a big role to play in yeah we did obviously people love the season one people actually people have loved all the seasons but i think the thinking from day one was people aren't gonna spend you know people aren't gonna spend good amounts of money for your simple basic classic tees hoodies um pants etc etc but with a principal collection that amara is very very bullish on um yeah we've got a nice core collection launching but i agree like just i don't know they're too specific just just nothing nothing gets better than these honestly um yeah i think we've both owned many many blue light blockers and uh they're vibe they're five they're the ones we keep coming back to all right so next one what's the most craziest most depraved request e-man made the mitchell did the made you go wtf can i say which one there's two okay which one okay so i mean honestly nothing surprises me when it comes to him but one time he asked me to deliver a clock to a girl i had never met so i show up with this old fashioned clock she just woke up from a nap i wake her up knock knock knock i'm waiting five minutes hear nothing knock knock knock another five minutes past she opens the door and she's like hello and i'm like it was 5 p. m as well clock here here hello glock i she i never met her she must have thought i was an absolute psychopath but anyway he had some weird meaning behind it so whatever i did the deed and i dropped the clock off and i found that a pretty wtf she secured the date oh yeah exactly thanks to me all right perfect next one uh what is uh what is e-man like as a boss for you considering you both are friends for many years um to be honest one thing i admire about him is he's always pretty calm in most situations so i find that you know there's a fine line between friendship and business i guess but i find like we handle it pretty well because we never really crossed that line but like whenever i've probably irritated you or you've irritated me because we have the kind of friendship behind us i think we're always just like pretty calm with one another and we're also like not too close like i find if you're too close then we i get way more offended by certain things but like like him never responding to me when i'm trying to sort out his whole life um so yeah i think yeah probably that you're always pretty calm and you always treat me with respect to be honest so i appreciate that i mean i think that's the main reason that's the case is because out of everyone in the company you know there's between all the different businesses there's 11 people now you and i'd probably say you and danny and luis are like the three people where if you say something you keep your word so i think there's never been a reason for there to be any tension or there's never been a reason for there to be like i don't know there's there's never been a time where you've said you'd do something and you didn't do it so sometimes it takes me a couple of days but that's also because he never responds so um so yeah i think i i think and you know that's the biggest nightmare when you're working with um friends and family is like if they're slacking you can't be stern with them yeah it's hard whereas with you because you've never slacked or as i said you've always kept your word and that's the thing i admire about you so much is you keep your word and you're just you're so disciplined you keep your word and also i've never met a more punctual person in my entire life it's the greek like it's like if it's scheduled for 2 p.
m she will be there 2 p. m on the dot or 1 59 but usually 2. uh if it's scheduled for 11 30 she'll be there on the doll so keep it coming so [Laughter] so as i said you know there's there's never really been a reason for there to be a any sort of animosity or anything like that um yeah but give them some like bad stuff bad stuff yeah they want they probably want something juicy like something well for iman he has no concept of time i guess so he'll tell me to come to his at 11 i'll be freaking wandering around looking in his fridge 500 times probably comes down 11 45 and he's like oh hey and i'm like well hello there i've been waiting for 45 minutes and also he loves to disturb me late at night so he'll like give me a request late at night for the next day and i'm just like couldn't you have waited for the morning like what's this i remember there was one time but i just thought you were nuts you messed me at 11 30 at night to find a bar for you and your friends at 11 45 and i'm there trying to go to sleep and he's like hey hey can you please find me a bar for 11 45 i'm just around the corner from here and anyways so he has no concept of like when is the right time to message he'll just do it i have a rough concept because here's the thing if it's just if it's reasonable then i'll just message the request yeah if i know it's a bit unreasonable or it's an unreasonable hour then i'll be like hey hey how's your day like trying to start a bit of a conversation like i see right through it you know like one day he was like hey hey how did the dentist go at like 9 50 in the evening and i'm like what do you want and he's like oh con i just asked for a friend and i'm like okay it went fine and he's like okay great so tomorrow can you end up like me i see right through it but anyways i've got to take gotta accept you for what you are all right next question do you have any ambition to start your own company in the social media marketing agency space or any other industry at some point in the future i mean definitely i feel like i what is that saying i'm a jack of all trades or something like i've always wanted to plant my seeds in many different aspects of life and i just started a little clip business which i'm surprised you haven't invested in yet for your girlfriend yeah some cute clips with her names on them anyways i'm just uh yeah i definitely would never say never ever say never to starting my own thing one day i'm just interested in it also and i think that's definitely in your timeline yeah here's the thing like there's people at the company who said it like we talk about 30 40 50 years from now and i think honestly you being here is you get to learn so much like you get thrown into so many like we talk about like all the you know assisting stuff like other day that's only 10 of it um and i mean even that i guess you have to learn some pretty pretty interesting skills you have to learn how to handle specific kinds of people um but as i said you know everything in terms of like um stock management again community management customer support um customer service dealing with some like weird requests from people so yeah so definitely it's made me more of a people person right so you've managed to take all those skills and at some point like i said i know with you you know this this role is more of a stepping stone and you're going to take that and you're probably going to take it on to um a startup or your own business or is that like i always know at some point i'm going to lose you too um you know you say that but you don't know how much i love the gadzi stuff yeah but at some point i'm gonna lose you to water records you're gonna sign your she's saying she's very very good at singing um so i know one day i'm gonna lose you i'm getting so many compliments to your music career yeah to answer their question yeah definitely definitely i don't know why it took us so long to basically say yeah all right next one are you going to make e-man buy a car for you just like how david dobrik buys his assistance car it's only right well i'm actually making him buy me an aura ring which don't forget about so you do want an ordering no i do want to order okay i changed my mind no because every single person in the company when they join the certain like company perks and stuff like that books as well like i said i think you know about that right no all your books are comped i want some books did you know i have a whole list of books okay so i was actually going to go to the bookstore later so there you go so at the company like there's obviously some benefits one of them every single person gets an ordering um partly so i can spy on everyone's sleep and i can make sure that you know they're on top performance um dory we won't add you to the teams tristan on the other hand though yeah you like a drink a couple times a week don't you we're always like what did you do last night because he has like 30 minutes of sleep deep sleep yeah um so yeah everyone gets an o-ring and then as i said all your books are comped as well vibe but yeah anyways what was the question oh yeah orange well i need to get my license first and i'm doing my lesson soon so once i get the license maybe we can speak about it maybe you can make a deal of some sort we'll get you a company uh a twizzy yeah fine down i don't need anything big i'm a small girl i just need something to fit my pug and my shopping bag so i'm good oh really oh yeah you can throw them in the back next question what's the most time consuming task of running gadget and where do you both want to see the company in five years well i think probably the most time consuming part i'd say is the customer service because sometimes i get some really in-depth requests or specific things like invoices and it's not something i can do myself so it's a lot more relying on i guess the bigger side of the team and the warehouse and so probably that's the most time consuming because i'm always waiting for responses and then have to i'm kind of like the messenger um and where do i see gaddy going i think i definitely see it being an affordable luxury menswear brand for pretty much like every staple a guy would need good quality and at a good price um and i think i see gadzi like i have a lot of i feel like gaze has a lot of potential to be that and uh sometimes iman makes rude remarks about gadzi saying it's just a little thing and i'm like no it's not just a little thing it's going to be a big thing trust me five years time it will be big i feel it that's what she said so yeah audemars piguet i mean out of the it's funny like out of the three businesses or four now technically like it's it's so hard to run like it's uh it's so hard to run and there's so many complexities with it like even just a simple thing or at least when it comes to like like even just little simple things like our prototypes for the our final round prototypes for the principal collection have been held up at customs for three weeks now because of everything that's going on in the world um and i know a lot of other um e-commerce brands are having that same sort of issue right now so just like unforeseen things like that uh things like cash flow like you know i just put an order for our summer capsule g1s uh plus a reorder on the black uh the matte black ones and it's takes three to four months to create like it's nuts um so you know you don't see that flip over in revenue for a long time um so it's a really difficult complicated business but i think i think definitely what i've learned is when it comes to product like the g once like you guys remember like because it was delayed for so long because the complexity of it like literally every single time i posted a photo or a a post a youtube video it was just like the com comments were just sprawled with like hey where are those glasses from where those and i think that really taught me like product is just the most important thing um and you know on your point yeah the way that i see you going is kind of the way that i address and the way that i don't i think the way that we all see it is just your everyday essentials for you know modern gen but with a bit of flare because at the end of the day like and this is kind of why initially i start off with all the graphics and stuff i'm like oh but someone could just buy this from uniqlo or muji or um you know and get incredible quality but i think the pieces especially with the principal there's just a little bit of flare there's a pocket here a pocket there or but not even that just the way they're tailored you know what i mean like it's like we've really taken a lot of time to pay attention to every single thing about how it sits on your neck your shoulders you know and so i think like that that's part of the flare is that it just like they're so well tailored right yeah when you have simple stuff it's there's nothing else to distract from it so it's it's all based on fit and quality so you just have to get it saw on you're not mine [Laughter] all right next question is e-man's a ladies man is iman a ladies man yep to be honest i think i think he could use a lot of work i'm sorry you know why i say this because i've known him since we were so young that like i don't know it's i don't know how to i don't even know how to explain it i personally like he has an amazing girlfriend now and sometimes i look at them and i'm like how the hell did you land her because he's just such a strange such a strange being in his own way but i guess that's what makes you special and i'm sure that's what she loves about you but i'm not sure if i don't know i personally for me and my views on how a man should act i don't think you're a ladies i'm so like the opposite of everything he's absolutely the opposite of a ladies man but you somehow finesse it i don't know why i don't know but yeah no all right next question and final question do you ever make mistakes as his assistant and if so what was the big one huh i think that am i going to sound like such a geek because i think i've only ever made one mistake oh you made another one i made two let me think at the one okay which one do you think oh my god that was really bad should i say yeah i mean don't say specifically who was poor no obviously but like but to be honest it's it's his fault it wasn't my fault can i say what it was okay okay so i kind of may have spent way too much on his card basically he asked me to another okay this actually another weird thing he asked me to do um he i was busy i was very busy he asked me to get lingerie for his should i say girlfriend yeah yeah she asked well at the time wasn't it at the time she wasn't his girlfriend yet it was like in the midst so he asked me to finesse her some really nice lingerie again why i don't think he's a ladies man because very own gentlemanly looking busy yeah look look here's the thing she didn't know that you got it yeah well now she will and that's fine i've secured the bag fine okay so anyway i go to the parents shaking his head i go to liberla to get her the lingerie because the perla is like what every girl would dream of for lingerie guys take notes okay so i went there and you know i spent a good hour looking through all different types of sets all different styles silk lacy blah blah i find pretty much a nice black set okay and i was just thinking i didn't even think of the budget to be honest because he gives me his card and i'm like okay fine well you know he likes nice things i'm gonna get i'm gonna get her a nice set you know i'm not gonna get her no cheap into missing me or something pretty little thing so i went to pay and i thought it was gonna be max 200 which sounds like a lot okay for it but it's not that truck you know it was silk it was a really nice set i thought it was gonna be max 200.
anyway i put the card in and i see she doesn't even tell me the price the cheeky bugger she just i see the price on the card machine 450 pounds and the card is in and i had my friend with me actually and i look up at my friend and i'm like one of those moments where it's like i get really embarrassed and say oh i can't pay for that or i just do it you know and i just did it so i yeah spent 450 pounds um on his card for a very simple silk underwear you know what it was and it didn't even fit her just to make it even when i think of lingerie right i think of like a proper set yeah right when i say this was just underwear in a bra this was just like like like look 450 pounds like 600 dollars for like like i literally you could get the same thing for like 20 bucks for 20 pounds and like uh but you know what she's gonna have it for the rest of her life you know so that's what makes you know what i mean she'll she'll never get a nicer made set put it that way and anyways after i just call emma and i'm like i may have done something bad i may have spent 450 pounds on your card please don't get angry i can take it back i love you bye and honestly he handled it very well but it was something that for three days afterwards i actually couldn't sleep at night because i was just thinking what was wrong with me like why wouldn't i even have asked this is what happens when someone gives me their card do you know what i mean like no i mean especially when you give me your card i'm like okay this is fun this is the fun card just it's just yeah no that was really bad that was my biggest mistake it's so funny the other week when somebody the other week when you uh were at lunch and uh and i told you i was like yeah if it's a business lunch you can business expense you're like really yeah i was like wait what and then i was like to laura well i have meetings with her we were like zuma next week your message laura you're like oh we should totally do this every week i was like let's have lunch twice a week actually it's the perks it's the perks all right perfect well that brings us to the end of all right so that wraps it up for your guys questions [Music] so that wraps it up for your guys's questions or at least uh the ones that i picked out now i got a purse a few personal ones to you i thought i'd surprise you at the end so surprised let's run through a couple first one is because as you said most guys watching this are nerds did i say that okay no you said that you say that no no no [Music] because most guys watching this and i have like a 90 audience yeah and like 80 of my audiences in the us as well um and they're mainly like me you know nerdy um stay at home and work most of the time probably slightly autistic um am i allowed to say that is that socially acceptable i think that's a bit rude slight no but i'm saying that about me okay when have you ever given up i was about to see whatever care about being canceled so with that being said entrepreneurs usually aren't really that good with women exhibit a so enlighten them and guys if you want to see a longer podcast uh if you want to because i haven't filmed the private victories podcast in like months and just keeps uh keeps roasting me for it so if you guys want to see a podcast lamar can jump on for an hour hour and a half and you know maybe some advice how to get it how to get a girl in 10 days 10 days well you know the film how to lose a guy into the days how to get a girl in 10 days all right well we'll give him a little teaser what is one thing that you should absolutely never do with a girl if you're trying to get okay you need to not be clingy i know this sounds like bolder but like i've genuinely had times where i've been so into a guy he sends me that one text too much and i'm like this guy has got to go okay what is one text too much like that you like for every message it's like literally a paragraph with emojis and like it's just too much it's too much sometimes like a bit quieter and more mysterious i'm not saying play games but a bit quieter and more mysterious is so much more enticing for a girl especially and like don't don't be like oh like you haven't replied in a while like what are you doing just don't do that like i i was really into this one guy we went on dates everything and then i just he just liked me too much i'm just like i can't help it and uh it just totally turned me off you know like i didn't reply for half an hour and he said you haven't replied in so long like what are you doing i'm like are you nuts really and that just like totally turned me off and i was like i was totally horny for this guy and he just ruined it ruined it literally so just play the cooler more because also like the less you give over text the more you can give in person you know what i mean so it's the texting is a big thing on that point um do you prefer when guys in that kind of initial getting to know each other phase do you prefer if guys message you or oh it depends so if he's an arabic guy we do love an arabic accent please so i don't mind the cheeky voice no because then i hear his voice if he has a nice voice imagine if he's like so what are you doing like arabic accent french accent no you don't like french accents i just don't like french guys really i'm sorry not my vibe i have girls that like french guys there's one guy watching this yeah they've done i don't mind a voice no but a mixture it can't be like a two minute 30 second voice no i don't have that amount of time it could be like a short little one fine cute and i sometimes if you have a nice accent i will re-listen to it multiple times because it's just you know it's just nice it makes you warm and fuzzy yeah warm and fuzzy and cozy inside so yeah um i think i think a nice balance text and voice note voice note's more personable it's nice okay so to summarize don't be too clingy don't be too needy so just take your time be patient so on the tech side of things on the tech side of things you've got don't double text don't i mean if if a guy ever says like why are you not responding like that's just like the biggest like but guys do it yeah but i don't like that you would never do it because that's not you but i've been there done that with guys like at least if you're gonna do a like pop up like pop up a day later with an emoji or something yeah or no like okay say you're worried it's been four hours you should be like everything okay that's cute but not like if you're if you're starting to date a girl like i get if it's your favorite okay if you've been dating for a while i think it's nice to check up but if you're starting to date a girl if she doesn't message you back she's you know just don't just don't double message okay so that's that but what about in person like on the clingy side of things like what does being like in-person clingy look like okay in person clingy is exactly this scenario the two of you are going to a party okay he has to be like you need to be stuck by each other's side throughout the whole night that's a big no-no it's so important to be individuals in a relationship you know when two people are so like stuck all the time it's like you can't even grow as individuals and the best thing is when you have two individuals growing in the same way together but not like entwined you know what i mean so yeah when you're yeah vibes am i oprah i think i am anyways um so yeah that's a clingy situation in real life just like let your girl do her thing like it's you know it shows the person you love them when you give them the sort of freedom to be themselves and individuals you know what i mean that's like a huge part of love you're welcome everyone's silent it was just just taking it in yeah i'm thinking about that i'm like oh would that work with my girlfriend yeah no [Laughter] all right cut that um so next question obviously i know the answer to this but just to give us more context how do we meet so we met i remember it so well basically my girlfriend at the time was tindering his best friend who turned out to be my first boyfriend i didn't know that was tindering is that how you guys ended up at the party that's how we ended up at the party because i was like yeah come to the party and bring your girlfriends had they met before no they never met it was the first time so we went to this party because my friend was tindering his best friend who turned out to be my first boyfriend but we can say that for another video and anyway so i'm i saw the two of them from across the room no i saw the two of them it was outside and he was like oh that's the guy that's a guy and i looked at them both and i was like nice nice looking and then that was pretty much it and then i started dating his best friend and through that amanda and i just got so so close and then me and the best friend broke up and then emma and i just emma and i were just best friends ever since there you go this is history yep all right so that's that what is and this i guess don't know the answer to in the six years that we've been friends that feels like a decade to you apparently um what is like the most fun experience you remember us having the one that was so memorable was for my sixteenth birthday yeah sixteenth birthday eman took me to paris seventeenth seventeenth birthday no i remember sixteen no i remember the 17th because i remember 2017 was when yeah yeah the business started to take i was also going to say that part okay 2017 my 17th birthday iman took me to paris and um one it was just so touching because like no one had ever done that for me but two i guess it was super symbolic for you because it was like you've gone through so much in your life and i've known emman when he had nothing to what he has now you know and i think it was like a special moment because it was like wow you're 17 you've made enough money to like take your best friend to paris for the weekend like pay for everything and i think it was just like a special time i guess like when we were in the moment it didn't feel like that we didn't like think about it so symbolically but like now looking back it was like wow that was like a big milestone and like the start of everything and it was weird after that trip like emin and i kind of fell out because he thought i wasn't being present on the trip which i am i was very present i didn't have a phone it wasn't working but anyways we're going to say that i don't want to have the argument now for a party yeah we'll save that for a podcast but anyways for me that was like super fun because it was also like one of the times the first time that i had been away without any parents or anything like that and like we were just young kids like we were so stupid and like careless and we just like had fun and walked around and found out a lot of stuff on that trip we're not gonna get into that that could be a movie but um anyways yeah no that was definitely something i'll always always remember it was touching and i had the best time no i agree it was um because there was like a few people obviously when the business started to do well like there was a few people where i was like instantly like i gotta repay him back in any way that i can you never have to repay and i don't know i mean he always feels like he had to like i still fight over you with coffee now no no like you and even like your mom like just such sweethearts and um i used to be around your house like all the time and you guys used to make dinner or order dinner friends these were my friends my friend [Laughter] so yeah i know that trip was fun yeah um that trip was fun you left that trip to something that you'll never get rid of your tattoo oh how could i even forget you know i got the dodgiest tattoo i've done you know tattoos right as you realize you're about to mess up you don't say anything yeah like because you wanted something way different and then they drawn and so different and this friendship was talking about you too you kept talking me into different things and i felt so pressured that i was like kidding me let's just get it done i think you couldn't understand his accent yeah like i was like i just want some small wings mate and he's like okay smaller wings okay this is definitely not small wings this is like huge and not even done very well but you know what it has a great memory behind it so it's about as patchy and sketchy as that time of your life was yeah literally and it should have taught me to not make impulsive decisions but it still hasn't i still need to keep looking at i try not to look at it when you're getting your second tattoo i don't know i do want a second one but maybe i want to get i don't know would you get offended if i got this removed no you'd be happy for me to be honest yeah you'd support maybe i can business expenses no probably not i was trying to get a cheap feeling but anyways yeah i'll definitely get another one soon all right next question and the final question is what does the normal day in amara riva rossi your 18 other [ __ ] last names look like um it's so you like of course you can just have one last name my middle name is riva and my last name is wrong i swear you have more i have amar riverosi my first name my middle name and my last name like most people who says they're my life no but you're interchanged i don't like where you can do change you've got maura rivas sometimes and then omar ross i don't like my surname so i only say amara riva but you know me as amara reeva rossi so you just say amara rossi and mara riva but actually i like to be called tomorrow because i don't like roswell i'm not out here saying my middle name ali magamettov i'll eat mug it's my no gazzy mango medal that's my last name what's your middle name do you know i have a middle name no ali magametto so it's iman ali magamet of gadgey magamedov yeah [ __ ] hell so anyways day in the life so i always i'm an early riser so i get all my stuff done in the morning like wake up sometimes i like to do a walk or a run then i like to shower have breakfast eat breakfast and peace and then at nine on the dot i start all my admin stuff and i pretty much have like a list of things that i have to do every day that i have to do every day so i get that done in the morning and then we always have our team call at around 3 30 3 40.
