GM: Good night, everyone who's watching! Welcome to another episode of Paranormal Order: Desconjuração, a RPG where my friends and I get together every Saturday at 6 pm to tell a story together. I am the narrator of this story, I create all the problems, the situations they find themselves in, the story itself that they have to unravel, and my friends are the protagonists of this story, they're the main characters and their choices that shape everything that happens in this world. I'm excited for today's episode. Hello! Hello, hello everyone. Good afternoon, good evening! (Rakin: Good afternoon.) GM:
How are we? Guaxi: Good night. Rakin: Good night, sports fans! GM: Are you guys okay? Calango: Yes! (Rakin: Yes) Triz: We are, we are. GM: Good, good! I'm excited for today, finally let's explore this orphanage. Okay there, Calango? Calango: I'm fine. Why? GM: You look beautiful today. I like your... Guaxinim: Look at Calango. I'm angry! GM: It's stylish. Calango: Thanks bro, thanks. Style is my middle name. GM: Today, we only have 5 people because we are only with 5 people in the dungeon Rakin: My God! GM: I waited a long time for today, I thought
that things that were going to happen today would have happened last week but it doesn't matter because we arrived at the orphanage. Many things are about to happen. If I were Calango, I would have already prepared myself for acting, because you are going to open the episode. Calango: I must give my all to this Rakin: Wow, fuck. GM: We don't have much more to say, (Triz: You can do it, Calango.) does anyone have anything to say before we board? Guaxi: Whatever happens, happens. (GM: Luba is muted.) Rakin: It is what it is. Luba: Damn it,
I was talking here for half an hour, fuck. Hi chat! Luba: Hi friends! How are you? Calango: We start with the left foot Calango: with that foul verbiage there. Guaxi: Awful! Luba: Sorry. I was talking for a long time. Okay, hi. GM: Do you have something to say? Luba: No, it was just hi, hi to the chat, that's all. GM: So let's go to the opening and as soon as we get back we go straight to the world of Desconjuração. POD OPENING GM: Right. Triz: You can do it, Calango. GM: Looking for investigator Elizabeth, you
followed the evidence and found out that she was supposedly taken to an orphanage. But to find this place, you were forced to release a mysterious occultist who was trapped in the base of the Order called Dante. Arriving at this orphanage, you met a mysterious group of tattooed men with horror stories and words of death all over their bodies, and they were carrying what appeared to be half-dead people, moaning, without reacting to anything that happened to them. After killing some of these men and some of these creatures, you continued to explore the orphanage and in the
midst of that exploration, Kaiser began to suffer yet another of his crises. In an attempt to calm down, he gets the photos that he carries to try to calm himself down, but there was something wrong: the photos have changed. And now, they carry an image of horror. His friends and family were all missing their mouths. K: What... What's going on?! Calango: I get my M4, J: Kaiser? Calango: I turn back... K: Who's doing this?! J: K-Kaiser, what happened? K: Are you... are you doing this, Joui?! J: Calm down, Kaiser, what am I doing? Wh- what
happened? Did you see that eye? Calango: I get close to Dante. K: It's you, isn't it?! A: Kaiser, I ... K: Is it you?! Say it! A: Hey, Kaiser! J: Kaiser, calm down! Guaxi: I get close to him K: Stop it, please! (A: What is it?) A: What's up, what's up? Look at me, look at me Guaxi: I slap him in the face. (Calango: I take the photos.) K: Look! Look at them! GM: He shows the pictures, and you see, they have no mouth. K: Why are you doing this to me, bro? J: What is
going on here, guys? A: Calm down Kaiser! It has to have an explanation. (K: Why are you doing this to me, bro?) A: Hey... Luba: Joui puts his hands on Kaiser's shoulders and tries to look him in the eye Calango: I squat in a fetal position on the floor. Luba: Joui does the same. J: Kaiser, it's alright, we saw it too, something very sinister is happening, we will find out what it is. Can you take a deep breath with me? K: It's my only way out, Joui. A: It isn't! Guaxi: I put my hand on
top of his. A: Hey, we're here. J: Whatever happens, we will deal with it, okay? Like we're doing now. A: And as we always did. Calango: I start looking for some other pictures that I should have, bro, like... GM: You... I'm glad you pulled this, I'm going to ask you to turn the flashlight over here. You take that photo, the one that brought you the most comfort. And it also has no mouths. And all the photos you took of your friends, you pass them one by one... Yeah, it's a little buggy, I'm going to take
it to area 1. Hold on. Guax: To the street. GM: Here. And all the other photos that you have, all the memories that you kept and took with you all of them are in the same way, all of them, if there is someone in the photo, that person is completely mouthless. K: Guys, please find out who's doing this, bro! J: Dude, we will find out, we will find out. Hey, Dante! Dante: Me? J: Do you know what this is, man? K: Of course he knows, he's doing it! A: Hey. Dante: Sorry, Cesar, but I really
have nothing to do with it. I don't know if there is any kind of ritual that changes images, but... someone may have changed them. B: Has anyone here ever seen this before? Or anything like it? J: No. (A: But ...) A: Those rituals are kind of crazy, right. A: So it shouldn't be so hard... (K: But I'm not crazy, right guys?) J: No! A: No, we are seeing it too. B: No, Kaiser. J: We saw it too. B: I don't know what you went through or what you are going through at the moment, but... everyone
is seeing this and nobody knows what's happening, so we need to stay together. Stay here with us, everything will be fine, we'll find out what's going on. Me and Arthur are doing well. Even if we're like this in this photo, everything's fine with us here. Nothing's changed. They're trying to mess with our heads. Luba: Joui tries to look Kaiser in the eye again. Can he? GM: It's up to him. Calango: You can, I look at you, but I don't hold your gaze. I'm kind of crying. GM: I'm going to ask you all for a Psychiatry
test. (J: Kaiser...) GM: Except for Kaiser. Everyone who isn't Kaiser. Guaxi, can you increase your volume a little, please? Guaxi: Sure, buddy. Rakin: Psychoanalysis or Psychology? GM: Psychoanalysis. Rakin: Ah, this one is complicated. Guaxi: I have 1%, man. 20! GM: Okay. (Luba: Failure.) GM: Arthur in his speech, Kaiser, motivates you a little, and you can calm down in this situation that left you completely unbalanced. He, more than anyone, manages to calm you down in those moments, because he's used to it already. K: Okay guys, please, just don't abandon me now. J: Never. (A: Never, buddy)
A: Are you crazy? J: Kaiser, you are strong. They are doing this with you because they want you down, but they won't topple you. A: And beautiful. J: You are strong. A: And beautiful. J: And beautiful, I think. A: So let's go? Shall we continue? Guaxi: Then I put my hand on his hair, like this. K: Stop it, let's go. Uh, just let me test one thing. Calango: I take my Polaroid, my Polaroid is like those (GM: Instantaneous.) that takes a photo and prints a snapshot. I want to take a picture of Bea. GM: You
want to do a check... do an Appearance check for me. (Guaxi: Of Photography?) GM: Do a check... Actually... do a Photography check, just to see how good your photo looks. Calango: Let me see, is it on the sheet? GM: It was supposed to be, we had it. (Calango: Photography?) Calango: Let me see. GM: If not, we ask Beatrice an Appearance test. Calango: Uh... No, it's not. GM: So Beatrice, do an Appearance test, please. Triz: I will. Uhm... Luba: It is the first in the attributes, right? Triz: Mhmm. Normal Success. GM: Ok, you can take a
picture that you can see Beatrice well, she is charismatic in the photo. Uh... you take the picture, you see it normal on the camera lens, you wait a few seconds, right, for the Polaroid to be printed out, and it’s normal. B: See? It's okay, they are messing with us. But everything will be fine, everyone is fine, everyone is here. A: Could it be that your backpack is like this? Doing those things. K: I don't know, let me... Calango: I look at the photos again. Of the... GM: All the photos are still with their mouths removed,
all that were with you. B: Kaiser, put that away, we need to move on now, we are here with you. Don't mind it now, we're here, present, and we're fine. But we need you. K: Okay. Can I just ask for one thing, Arthur and Joui? J/A: Sure. K: Can you smile at me so I can take a picture of you? Now? A: Of course! Guaxi: I'm already smiling. (J: Sure.) Luba: Joui pulls off his mask and hugs Arthur, like this, and makes a... Calango: Okay, so I take this picture now. GM: [Camera snaps and whirrs]
The photo is printed, you wait a few seconds, and they come out cute, smiling and hugging each other. K: Okay, thanks. Calango: And I keep the photo. J: And then we take one the three of us, can we? K: Yeah, I think we're going to need more... (A: Let's take 5!) ...in my stock. A: Okay, let's go then. (J: Good idea, Arthur.) J: Ok. Luba: I'll help... is Kaiser still on the ground? I want to help him get up. Guaxi: Yeah, I thought we... Luba: Ah, you’re already up, right? We took a picture [laughs] Guaxi:
Yeah, right?! J: Okay... A: Okay, so... J: Ah, don't you want to look around here in this room before we go on? K: I'm going... I'm going to take a look at the computers that were on the other side of the room just to be sure. Have you finished looking there? (J: Ok.) J: Everything indicates that we did. (A: I believe so.) Guaxi: Let me spin here just to see. I think we did, right? GM: In this room, you did have a good check. In the other sector, you didn't look very deeply. Guaxi: Nice! I
just spun around to remember how the room is, because now it's very dark here! (GM: Yes.) Calango: Yeah, everything is "derk". Calango: Okay, I'm going... Luba: Ah... GM: But now it's easier to see your thumbnails, you can see yourself from behind, it's a little better. (Guaxi: Yes.) Rakin: Before Arthur passes, I want to talk to him real quick. D: Hey, Arthur... Triz: Beatrice went with Kaiser. GM: Okay. Luba: Yeah, Joui too. A: Oops, Dante. What is it? D: So, I know that... it's not very smart for me to say this in my position and everything,
but I don't know any kind of ritual that changes people's photos like that, but... I think you should think that there is someone, I don't know if in this group, or at your base, who may be wanting to negatively affect Cesar's mentality, okay? I just ask you to keep an eye out. Calango: What did Dante call me? D: Kaiser's mentality. [laughter] Rakin: Man, it's very difficult, man! Guaxi: It is difficult. GM: I counted 2 Caesar so far. Calango: I counted 2 too! Rakin: Wow! Guaxi: I put my hand on Dante's shoulder and say: A: Relax,
we... we will find out what is causing this. Don't worry! Guaxi: Then I just pass. GM: I'm going to ask the group who... (Rakin: Ouch, ouch, ouch!) ...came here to roll for Finding. And Kaiser, you have Advantage in this Finding. Calango: Okay. [Rakin laughs] Luba: I got a Normal. Triz: Extreme Success. GM: Twenty! (Calango: Normal.) GM: Okay. Uh... Beatrice, you, while going through all these broken computers, destroyed monitors, burned laptops, you see something that catches your eye right there in the middle. It seems that there is a specific point that has fewer ashes, there´s a
little circle that does not have many ashes, and in the middle of that little circle there is a little black square. B: Uhm, guys it looks like I found something here. Triz: I'm going to take the black square in my hand, can I? GM: You take it in your hand, and you realize that it is a micro SD card. B: I think it's a micro SD, and it looks like it's not damaged. GM: It's very small, it's like a size this small. Joui: A micro what?! GM: Micro SD. Micro SD card. Luba: No, it's Joui
talking to Bea. (GM: Oh, okay.) B: Hm… a micro SD. K: It's a memory card, Joui. J: What is a memory card? K: It's what stores files on computers and cell phones, all that. J: Bea, hand it to him, he understands a lot about these things. B: Certainly. It's in your hands, man. It looks like it's not damaged. K: Thank you, I'm going to see what I can do. B: I found it there on the floor in a place that seems to have no ashes, maybe that was... (GM: It was on a table, on a
table.) I forgot to describe it. (B: ...Purposely protected.) Calango: Man, I'm going to take a... handkerchief. Can I take a handkerchief out of nowhere? (GM: Yeah, yeah.) I'm going to take a handkerchief out of my backpack, I'm going to roll up the little SD card and keep it in a pocket on my backpack. GM: Okay. Put it in your inventory, don't forget it. Calango: Okay. GM: As a base rule, any items that you mention that you pick up but don't write in the inventory, you didn't really pick them, you dropped them, because I won't be
able to keep in my head all the items that you left off or not. You need to keep it in your inventory. Calango: Okay. It has no weight, right?! GM: It has no weight. Calango: Ah, good. K: Uhm... lets get going? J: Who was with that map? Arthur: Uhm... I think it was with one of you who were ahead. GM: Did anyone put it in the inventory? K: It was someone who was... J: Oh, it's with me! [clears throat] Luba: Joui pulls the map... [Everyone laughs] Luba: with... with the question mark. He turns the flashlight
on. GM: Let me pull the map again here. Luba: Thank you. GM: You can turn the map to... you can turn the flashlights to the map if you want. Luba: Okay. Calango: It will be very bright I think. (J: Guys...) Guaxi: Yes, but you can understand. J: Okay. Uhm... according to this map we can see the two rooms under there, which were blocked by that rubble, and then we can see where that question mark is. Or do you want to go straight to the question mark? K: I think we better go on these crosses first,
so we can continue clearing out to the right. From left to right of the map, you know? (B: I agree with Kaiser.) J: Okay, I prefer it that way too. J: Come on. A: Then let's go. B: Let's go. Luba: Joui folds the map and packs it again. GM: You can save the map file, so you can pull it out whenever you want, Luba. I will promote you here. Luba: I think I did that... Don't promote me... GM: So I'm going to take out your promote. GM: No, but man, the promotion won't change anything. (Luba:
Thank you) what screws up, you can do even without promotion, I think. You don't have to be afraid, just don't right click over things, that's all you can't do. If you don't press the right button, nothing happens. Luba: But I had to press it to save the thing! Okay. Dude, I'm Joui, I just realized. I don't know how to do it. Okay. GM: Okay. Uhm, you can... leave it up here, no problem. And, oh, I got someone stuck here, who stayed here? Joui is buried by the map. (Rakin: It's Joui [laughs].) Luba: My God. GM:
There. Uh, then you leave... this room? Luba: Yes. K: We leave. I'm going to take my gun in my hand bro, with the flashlight. GM: You take it. Luba: Joui has already raised his mask again and his bow is ready. (Calango: It gets dark) B: I will also have the gun. Calango: It got dark here for me, just for me? GM: You can light it up later, no problem. Calango: Ah, right, okay, okay. Luba: Joui will go ahead then. In the hall. GM: Okay. You go out through the hall, when you leave the door you
see that same hall you saw... the room in front of the bathroom you came from, to the right on the map there's a... long corridor and a little ahead you can see that there is a big entrance to the external area that you saw on the other side of the orphanage. And to the left the corridor continues until a curve. Luba: Okay. GM: Which way do you go? (J: Here, guys.) Luba: Left. GM: Okay, you continue to the left, you can put it in your order there. Upon reaching the corner, you can stand around the
corner, turning the corner... you see... Oops, don't light up, watch out. If the light glitches just pass quickly, don't even stay on it for a long time. You see a closed door ahead... and further ahead you see what seems to be another closed door just before the rubble. Luba: Okay. J: Guys, let's go together. (whispering) Luba: Joui pulls the crowd here. He wants to take a look at that first area, first. GM: Okay. You, arriving in that first area... you want... you see a closed wooden door, and it has some cracks, some holes between it.
Luba: Could I see anything between them? GM: Orpheu follows you back here, you are on this line here, you are so going. I think, you are a little big, for the size of the map, I’m going to decrease a little… maybe it’s just an impression. What did you say, Joui, sorry? J: Can I see anything between these cracks... GM: You can do it. [laughs] (J: Cracks?) You see how hard it is, bro, it's complicated. Comes. You can look in like that, I let you look here look. You see what appears to be benches. Well-destroyed wooden
benches. And Roll a Listen to me, please. Luba: Okay. Triz: Can I roll too? I was right behind him. GM: You can try, you can try. Luba: Extreme. GM: You listen, clearly: Existed: (grunting) "Aorathton" GM: There are at least two of those creatures in there. J: Psst, guys. There are two more of those creatures. Written, that shine. Do you want to get in here? K: Ah, we have to enter. (B: It's just that Joui?) J: I'm pretty sure it is. A: I think it's just we don't do anything with them. B: I agree. (K: But
they will be-) B: Last time they didn't attack us. K: They didn't attack but that person was holding me, don't you remember? A: A, but then you hit their hand and leave. J: Oh but I don't like it, they are... looking. (Calango: She was a strong GM?) Calango: Did she hold tight? GM: She was weak, but she was holding... you felt that she was holding you with as much strength as she had. Calango: Okay. B: But it is necessary, we need to see what is there. Maybe it will help us in the investigation. J: Okay,
let's go together then. Luba: Joui pushes the door a little more. GM: You open the gap, and you see something that surprises you a little. You realize that this first creature that you are seeing it is almost sliding in the air, her feet touch the ground but what it touches is the instep. And she’s almost levitating. Existed: [grunts] Luba: Joui closes the door. GM: [sound of door closing] J: She's flying! K: What? J: She's flying! She's floating, the little foot is almost off the floor! A: Hey there, he's already crazy. (J: I don't want to
come in.) B: Did she do anything? J: No, she just made those sounds [imitates a grunt] and she's flying. (K: Does it look different from the others?) J: No, but she is flying. B: Let me see Joui. (K: But-) Triz: I step in front of him. and open the door. (J: No, no!) GM: Do you open the door? When you open the door, you face [PUM] her. Floating in front. (B: Oh! Fuck.) Triz: Does she do anything? GM: She... You just open it, get scared with her coming right in front of you, she's floating, and
she's just looking at you and coming. Existed: (grunting) "Shankara" Triz: I'll go around it like this. B: Excuse me, excuse me. GM: Okay, you try to get past her. You see that she, she is still, she is floating, but she is at your height, she is not flying very high. She keeps looking at you... and she doesn't ... she just looks at you. (Luba: Joui leans against the wall here.) You pass, and she tries to stick your face in hers like that, and keep looking at you, in the depths of your eyes. Triz: I just
go around and beckon for Joui. B: Come here. (whispering) J: From everything I've ever fought in my life, I never saw a creature flying, I'm not happy. B: No, nobody is. But let's do what, if it doesn't attack us. (GM: The Batmoths-) -are crying now in the cave of Holy Cradle. [Laughs] J: Creatures that didn't have wings are flying. Guaxi: [laughing] B: Do I recognize what this place is? GM: Ok, you go in, you can put your figure there. You... see, it's very recognizable. This is a chapel, quite destroyed. When you enter you see another
one of the Existed, walking. [grunts] GM: He sees you and turns. GM: And it has been walking towards you too The other Existent who was floating, it has been floating behind you. B: Ok GM: In front of you, in addition to these benches in this completely destroyed chapel, you see a large altar, with a large metal cross on top of it, and I'm going to ask you to roll a Finding. Triz: Right. Luba: In the meantime I stay on the wall, not wanting to enter. Triz: I clicked wrong, I clicked wrong I had clicked to
listen here. GM: Okay Triz: Find. J: Kaiser, Dante, Arthur... Triz: Normal success. (J: Help her I keep the door.) GM: You notice that under the altar, there are five stones reflecting the light from your lantern. There's five, one next to the each other and underneath them there is what appears to be a text. K: I'm going in too.. (B: I'll get-) B: I'll get it to see what it is. The stones are different from each other? GM: The five are exactly the same and are aligned. You can get closer and see what they look like.
They have this format... (Calango: I will enter ok?) It's like a diamond. They even look like glass diamonds, you would say. And underneath there is a writing. Triz: What is writing? GM: "Obey divine orders to access the relic on the other side." And below there is a list, Revelation, three, twenty; Job, ten, eight; Daniel, two, twenty-two; Matthew, twenty-five, forty-one; and Jeremiah, twelve, seventeen. B: Does anyone out there understand the bible? K: I look at Dante. Rakin: I'm too far away, I can't even hear her. Calango: Can't you? I thought you were right behind me. Rakin:
No, I'm here, I'm still here. I haven't come close yet. A: Yeah, I don't think she spoke that loud. K: Dante. D: Yes? K: Do you understand the Bible? (GM: Did you enter the chapel?) GM: Or are you all at the door? Just to know. K: I am at the door, but I am inside. GM: Okay K: But I'm like between the door and Joui. GM: It looks like the name of a book, doesn't it? (B: I will-) Luba: The book ... I knew he was going to say that. [laughs] Joui is looking the other
way here, he is waiting ok? He didn't want to go in, it's very, very creepy for him. Triz: I'm going to get Kaiser's attention B: Call Dante, call Dante. K: Do you understand the bible Dante? D: Yes, uh... at the orphanage we had to read, yes. K: So come on, Beatrice is calling you. D: Okay, so I pass by... Jeez, hey, I stuck it here. I got stuck here too ... GM: If you are stucking in a lot of things you can raise the guy's bar a bit, to stop it, if it's the case, but
there was a wall there was not much to do. Rakin: Good D: What happened, Beatrice? B: So Dante I found... I found this paper here along with this writing "obey divine orders to get to the other side" and- GM: Orpheus will fly away and land on the top of the cross, just for him to stay here. B: It seems that there are some verses from the bible that I... I don't... I don't remember. Do I remember master? Just to check it out. GM: Ah, give me a test... is there a Religion Science there? Or, let
me see exactly what... in fact there should be a religion "something". (Triz: No) Triz: There is only History. GM: It could be History. I let you try to give History. Triz: Okay. Failure. GM: Your character is not religious, is it? Triz: No. GM: Okay. You don't remember these Bible verses in your head, no. Triz: Okay. B: And I thought maybe you could remember something because we used to read the Bible here at the orphanage, do you recognize any? D: Let me see what you need, what the verses are. Do I remember any of those verses
that are annotated, master? (GM: Give a History test.) Rakin: History... Oh, oh. Wow, Good success. GM: Good success? Calango: Nice GM: I'll let you remember one of them head on. Um, which one do you choose? They are- Calango: Choose... choose carefully! Guaxi: Choose well. Rakin: What are the verses again? (GM: Revelation-) I have to write it. (GM: -three, twenty.) Job, ten, eight. Daniel, two, twenty-two. Matthew, twenty-five, forty-one, and Jeremiah, twelve, seventeen. Rakin: Okay, I wrote everything down. Ok, I want to remember the Revelation, three, twenty. GM: Ok. The Revelation, three, twenty is: "Behold, I am
at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." D: The only one I remember of these is the Revelation, three, twenty which says exactly what you said, do I need to repeat this part? GM: You can write, I'll send it to you on... Are you with WhatsApp open? I send on WhatsApp. Rakin: Send a zap. (B: Is that-) B: Are we going to be able to search for the bible around here, there must be some, there must be
something left, is it? K: I take my cell phone, is there a signal? GM: No. K: Shit! Triz: Can I roll a Find to see if there are any bible nearby in the church? GM: You can roll a find it. Triz: Okay. J: I hear Kaiser shouting "shit" and ask if it's okay. Triz: Extreme. K: There is no signal. GM: You look around a lot and there is only wooden rubble, there is no bible around it. A: I have signal. GM: Not in this chapel. Meanwhile, those Existed, both they arrive floating, and they stand beside
you two. One arrives floating, the other walking, and they stand alone beside you two, always saying the same thing and groaning. Triz: Is there anything different about their writing or... GM: Same thing. The writings are different. They don't have exactly the same tattooed texts, some texts are the same in different places, they don't both have all the same stories, but in general they are all scary stories and words like "don't kill me", or "tell my mom that I love her", things like that. Rakin: Can I roll Intelligence to see if I recognize something that these
creatures are saying? GM: You can roll a History check. Rakin: History? Oof, History don't let me down! Let's see... Wow, Extreme! (GM: Extreme.) GM: Dante, you recognize... [Rakin laughs] all the names you've heard so far, since you are a very studied guy, you always read a lot, you recognize these names as of Sumerian origin, the first civilization with written records. Rakin: Samarian, right? GM: Yes. Rakin: Just to say the right word. Okay. D: Guys. (Guaxi: He's so smart.) D: These beings... Kaiser, come here. (GM: No, they are Sumerians.) Rakin: Is it Sumerian? GM: Yeah. Rakin:
Oh, right, I thought it was me that was wrong. Samarians. D: Hey, Kaiser. K: Yeah? D: I don't know if it's relevant, but two things: first, we we certainly need a Bible for these things, these crystals, I can only remember one of the verses, and... K: Wasn't it here when you used to live here? D: Not that I remember. GM: There was a chapel here, but it didn't have that. There was no writing. And no crystals. D: The chapel was here, but the writing and the crystals weren't. But... about these beings that are flying here
on our side, they are speaking Sumerian phrases... Rakin: It's called Sumerian, is that it? GM: They are Sumerian names. D: Sumerian names, which I really don't understand at all, but I know they are names of Sumerian origin. K: What is Sumerian? D: It is an ancient civilization, that existed a long time ago. K: They... (Triz: Alright, I...) K: They're saying names, then. D: I don't know for sure, but I know it is of Sumerian origin, so... it may be relevant information for us to research when we return, or for you to research. Triz: Alright, I'll
get the papers and try (GM: They're not papers,) it's written in the altar. (Triz: to get the crystals.) Written in the altar. Can I take a picture with my phone? GM: You can try. Triz: Okay, do I have to roll something? GM: No, you can, you can take the picture. Triz: Okay. I wanted to give the crystals a little shake to see if anything happens. GM: The crystals are fixed on the altar, (Calango: Put the photo in the inventory.) GM: Put the photo in the inventory, it would be good for you to remember it. Rakin:
Did she find the Bible? When she got an Extreme. Calango: No, no. (GM: She didn't find one.) Calango: I go back here. D: Did you find a Bible around here, Beatrice? B: No, there is nothing else. Rakin: I'm going to leave the room. GM: When you try to leave, (Calango: Wait, just a second.) GM: Dante, the creature in front of you, it holds you, and keeps groaning. She's looking deep in your eyes. She touches her forehead to yours and looks into the depths of your eyes. Rakin: I just move her away from me and try
to get out. GM: Strength, please. (Rakin: No reaction at all.) Rakin: Wow, my strength [giggles], Strength check. Wow, Regular. (GM: Regular?) Let's see the creature. (Rakin: How lucky!) I have eight in Strength. Guaxi: The creature fights back and kills you. GM: You manage to let go of it, she is very weak and fragile, she is still floating. You see that she is desperately trying to hold you, you take her away from you, and she keeps coming after you. Rakin: Okay, I completely ignore this creature, and I'm just walking here. GM: And she continues: [groans]. (Calango:
Can I talk to Joui and Arthur?) GM: Beatrice, do you try to leave too? Triz: Yes, she does. GM: Same thing, the creature on your side tries to hold you back. Triz: Strength? GM: Yes. Rakin: Wow, I have a stand now. [Rakin and Guaxi laugh] Guaxi: Crazy shit. Triz: I failed. GM: Fail? She's holding you. You try to leave, she hugs you and looks deep in your eyes repeating: Existed: [groans]. Triz: I'm going to signal to Kaiser B: Man, help me here, bro. Calango: Okay, I'm going to help her. GM: You see this creature holding
on to her, she can't get out. The creature is hugging her like that, and trying to look her in the eye. J: Are you all right there? (B: Kind of, Joui.) Calango: I just want to take it off. (GM: Strength check with Advantage.) Calango: Regular, one. GM: Okay. Calango: Regular, two. GM: You can't do it. You're trying, she's holding on to Beatrice, and she doesn't want to let go. Existed: [groaning] You put your hand on her face and push her back, Existed: [groans] K: Ugh! Guys! Hello? Calango: Can I force the test? GM: What do
you want to do? Calango: I want to push her away. Beatrice: And I want to push too. (GM: What movement do you make?) Calango: I put my foot on Beatrice's leg and try to push her back. GM: Okay, you can force it. Calango: I'm going to trip, wanna bet? GM: Put your sprite here, please. Calango: Extreme, now! GM: Okay, you force the test with an Extreme... you're here, right? GM: The other creature floats past you, behind Dante. You kick the creature backwards, she falls backwards, hits her back (Calango: Oh no!) GM: on the bench, and
you see her [whoosh] coming back quickly and [blast] she starts to shine, her mouth, her eyes Existed: Aorathton! GM: And she jumps on you to attack you. B: Run! Let's run. Can we run and close the door? K: Calm down, I think... GM: Yes, she's after you. Calango: Can I dodge? Master: Dodge or Fight Back, or Block. Calango: Dodge. Oh, man, such bad luck. Triz: The only time you got Extreme was horrible. Calango: I failed, bro. GM: She comes at you and as she's coming back, she tries to punch you, and she misses, and she's
in front of you now. Beatrice, I will let you act. Triz: Okay. I... I'm going to shoot her with the crossbow. GM: You didn't have it in your hand. Triz: I had said that I had it, I just don't know how to put it on the sprite. GM: Okay, then you can... let me get it here. You can attack. With Advantage. Triz: Extreme. GM: What is the maximum damage of the crossbow? Triz: 1d8 ... it's ten. [Luba mumbles] GM: Hold up, Joui. Luba: Sorry, I was trying to get out. Beatrice: The maximum damage is ten.
(Rakin: He got the jitters.) GM: How much damage is it? Triz: Ten. GM: Ten? GM: The creature tries to punch Kaiser, you jump back and an arrow goes through her skull, and she falls instantly dead in front of you both. B: Thanks, man! K: Oof! J: We saw the light from outside, right? GM: Sorry? You saw, you saw her shining, and, and this fight going on, this intense scene. but Beatrice's arrow quickly ends it in less than 2 seconds. Triz: Can I get my bolt back? GM: Luck check, please. Triz: The guy is there in
front of me, nothing is happening. Calango: Sometimes the bolt broke. GM: Exactly. Triz: Okay, Disaster. GM: You didn't just... Guaxi: You hit yourself! GM: No! [Luba cackles] GM: There is no way you could have lost more, you... in fact, you looked at your arrow and there is only a lot of wood. You can't even find it. K: Thanks, girl. (B: Let's get out of here,) there is nothing here. Good job, dude. D: Joui... J: Dante... there is... the flying creature is after you! Existed: [groans] D: I know, I think... she will follow me for a
while. (J: Why did you bring her here?) D: She's just following me. J: Then you come here in the middle of everyone? A: She doesn't seem to be doing anything. Guaxi: I get close to her. GM: You get close to her? (Guaxi: I put the flashlight in her face) GM: She turns from Dante towards you. Existed: [groans] GM: And puts her hands on your face. Luba: On my face? GM: No, Arthur's. GM: Let me put her here. Guaxi: I let her. A: Hello! (GM: You let her?) GM: She puts her hands on your face... (J:
Arthur, no!) GM: leans her forehead against yours, she’s still floating, she doesn’t even seem affected by gravity, just the forefeet touching the ground, and you see the bottom of this creature’s empty, white eyes, Arthur. Luba: Joui pulls it. (Existed: Asatta...) GM: Strength test. Luba: Uuh! Let’s go. (Luba: Good.) GM: You can pull it in a not too aggressive way, and you take the view... it away from Joui GM: from Arthur, and when you pull, (Existed: Asat...) GM: and turns to look at you. A: It doesn't do much, Joui! (Luba: I push it without looking.) D:
Ah... Arthur, I think we... (J: Arthur, no!) GM: You don't look at it? It puts its hands on your face and tries to make you look at it. Luba: I want to push it into the room, slowly, in a non-aggressive way. GM: Okay, okay. One more strength test for me, then. Rakin: It wants you to like her photo on Facebook. GM: You do it with great difficulty, you go... [TSH] pushing it back. It seems that it's pushing, although it's not supported by gravity, it's pushing forward, but you can push it back, and you can put
it inside. You're blocking Arthur and Beatrice from leaving. Guaxi: Kaiser. GM: Yeah, Kaiser and Beatrice. J: Kaiser, help me take it there! Then we run out and close the door. A: It doesn't seem to be doing much if we don't attack, it's OK. J: Arthur! If it... (K: We need to pass.) J: It's a matter of time before it attacks. Calango: I grab one of the creature's arms and start trying to pull it. Calango: Joui the other arm. (GM: No test needed) GM: You can leave it wherever you want. Luba: Behind the altar. (Calango: Can
we not take the token?) GM: Meanwhile, it's trying to make you look at it. it's putting its hands on your head. Luba: Joui closes his eyes and asks Kaiser to guide. GM: Do you close your eyes? (Luba: Yeah, pushing.) GM: When you close your eyes, you feel its fingers touching your eyelids and trying to open your eyes. Guaxi: Fuck! (Calango: Shit, bro!) (Guaxi: How crazy...) J: How annoying! Kaiser, come on! Calango: I leave it in front of the altar. Rakin: Get the gun. (Calango: We're there.) Calango: Then we go back to the door. Luba: Yeah,
I want to leave it, run and close the door. (GM: Okay,) GM: it's walking, well, it's going, you know... it's sliding very slowly. (Luba: So there's time.) GM: Okay, you can do that, GM: and you close the door. I'll let you position yourself however you want. D: Eh... Joui. D: I think that, even though his creature isn't doing much, D: we don't know what kind of ritual it may be trying to do. (K: Let me in!) D: It might even be some kind of body swap, then. D: I recommend, if there's a situation where someone
gets stuck with it... (J: Body swap?) GM: [POW!] The door slams. (GM: You hear it.) Existed: Asatta... A: It wants to go out, guys. (J: Damn it!) [POW!] B: Let's get out of here. Is there another door in that corridor? A: Here, behind you. [POW!] (GM: When you take a step, you hear it screaming.) Existed: Asatta! [POW! POW! POW!] It's trying to break down the door, and you can recognize it, coming from inside, even without a flashlight pointing: it's shining inside. Calango: The room we were in? (GM: Where you left it, it's hitting the door.)
(Calango: Bro...) J: Kaiser! (J: Get ready!) GM: It hits the door hard. GM: The door is weak, and you can see through the gaps the creature's glow emitting. [POW!] Existed: Asatta! GM: It looks like it's headbutting the door, it's trying to open that door with all the strength it has. Calango: We see through the gap? A good view? GM: Orpheu went to Beatrice, he didn't stay inside. (GM: I forgot him there... You got him.) Calango: We see through the crack here? GM: Where's Orpheu? (Triz: I already got him) Calango: Does my gun fit in the
gap? GM: Er... You can see a gap that fits, yes. Calango: I put the barrel of my gun in and shoot twice. (GM: With a disadvantage.) (Calango: Disadvantage?) GM: And it cancels the melee advantage. GM: You can't move it. (Luba: Joui is also at the door.) GM: You stick the barrel in, (GM: No advantage.) Calango: Isn't it trying to break out? In front of the door? GM: Yes, it's trying to break out, but if you fit a gun into a crack, GM: you can't move it however you want. (Calango: Okay) Calango: Got it, I'm just
shooting once. GM: A shot with disadvantage. (Calango: With disadvantage?) GM: No, sorry. GM: No disadvantage and no advantage 'cause they nullify each other. Calango: Aw, man! (Luba: Joui is there, okay?) GM: You shoot loudly [PAH!] And nothing happens, you can't do it, it's moving too fast, and it's floating, so its legs are also lifting, and it starts kicking [POW! POW!] the door. Let's see if the door can handle it. The door is still holding on. K: Guys, I need help here! J: Okay. Kaiser, aim, get ready. Luba: Joui approaches the door and kicks it, Luba:
To push the it back. (GM: Okay, test your Strength.) K: I'm prepared, okay? (Luba: Normal) GM: You open it with force GM: and the creature floats backwards it’s flying backwards like [Woosh!] it turns around GM: and it and comes flying at you, (Existed: Asatta!) but you have time to do an action. (Calango: Me?) J: Kaiser, now. GM: Both. K: I shoot twice... (Luba: Joui's sword is ready.) GM: Okay, two shots without… (Calango: At a disadvantage?) GM: How many bullets do you have? To confirm. (Calango: Fourteen.) GM: Okay, which are the blood ones? Calango: Uh, it's
in the other... another clip, (Calango: I don't have it.) GM: Okay, in another clip. Calango: Two shots with disadvantage? GM: Two shots... neither an advantage nor a disadvantage. Calango: Then I shoot twice. (GM: Okay.) (Calango: Good.) GM: Actually, there's disadvantage, GM: Since it's not melee. (Calango: OK, hold on.) GM: For the second one, you have disadvantage. (Calango: Ok) GM: To shoot twice. Calango: First, normal. (GM: You hit the first one.) Calango: [Laughter] GM: Second, extreme. Calango: Ah, obviously, I only hit once. GM: Okay, extreme and then failure, fine then you get one shot, roll the
damage. (Calango: Eight.) GM: Eight damage? GM: You hit... well, like in a very vital place [BLAM] a lot of blood starts to spill, but you didn't kill it. Or did you? Lemme see if you killed it, I have to confirm. You killed it. You hit a vital point. [BLAM] Blood starts to spill Existed: [Grunts] and it stops glowing little by little, and it stops and falls dead in front of you. K: Right, and why did this happen? A: 'Cause it wanted to stay with us, duh. J: It got angry, I don't know. K: I thought
it only happened when we hurt them. (GM: Beatrice.) (J: Me too.) A: You hurt its heart. (B: Me.) GM: In the middle of this fight, you took a few steps back GM: and... (B: Yes?) GM: Although you were scared by what was happening, something caught your attention a lot more. You notice that Orpheu GM: sings. [Orpheu singing] and begins to flap his wings. [Flapping] He seems to be anxious, and it's the first time that you have heard him singing in your life. Triz: In the middle of this situation? GM: As soon as it was over
you took a few steps back, and he started singing. J: Cute! (Triz: I look at...) B: No, not cute. (A: Beautiful little bird!) B: No, no, no... He never sang, it's the first time he's does. (J: Never sang?) K: Wait, ever since you got him? (A: Maybe he was shy.) B: Since I have memories. B: And he never sang. (Luba: Joui spies on the other...) B: For the record, this is a legend but, B: They say that when a Potoo sings he is announcing someone's death, it is a song of sorrow. A: But it died
there, look. Guaxi: I point to the creature. (GM: It was after.) GM: Ah, just to make it clear. (Guaxi: No... I'm just saying.) B: It's a legend, I don't wanna scare you, but I found it very strange, B: Orpheu... are you okay? (J: Beatrice, stay away from that door) (B: I'll try to mess with him.) GM: You see that he is staring at the door next to you. J: Beatrice, away from that door. B: I'm far from that door, wow. (J: Come behind me.) Triz: I'll go behind Joui. Luba: Joui keeps the bow aimed. K:
The singin is not strange, what happened the most so far was death. B: It's very strange for him to sing for that very reason, (J: Kaiser?) B: maybe it's random, but I don't take chances. B: I may be a little superstitious, and Orpheu doesn't usually do much, he's acting very strange. K: I'd rather believe that it's a legend. (A: Kaiser…) B: I believe in his behavior, B: he's always so calm, why is he flying like that, singing... What is it? Something's wrong, I think we should be careful. A: Okay, then, who's going to open the
door? (J: Kaiser ...) (K: Yes?) J: ...It's never just a legend, okay? Be careful. J: Respect Orpheu. K: Okay, I'm respecting him. B: I'll try to calm him down. GM: He's staring at the door, it seems that he's ignoring your existence and looking to something through the door. Luba: Okay, she's behind me then, right? GM: Put yourselves where you wish to be. (Luba: Now?) Triz: I went in after Joui. Luba: Did you went in behind? Yummy… Calango: It's crazy. Luba: Joui walks slowly. GM: Okay. J: Get the guns ready, guys. Triz: I recharged my crossbow,
as soon as I shot. (GM: Okay.) Just for the record. Luba: Joui slowly opens the door. GM: When you open it, you open it up to a certain point, Orpheu takes flight and passes you both [wind noise], entering the room. You hear him singing inside. J: Calm down, Beatrice, calm down. Don't go after him yet, okay? Let's be smart. B: What's in this room, Joui? J: I don't know either. Luba: Joui is entering even more slowly. How far can I go master? GM: Ah, you can open the door over here. Orpheu came down here. You
look into the room, you see some mattresses lying on the floor with a lot of blood on them, and you also see some bandages. There is one thing, which appears to be a support. A tray with a small table beside it, here. J: Okay. Come with me, Bea. Calango: I will follow. (Luba: I go and come…) Triz: I'm in shock, just following him. Luba: Joui comes a bit beyond the door to light the rest of the room. GM: You go in and when you turn the flashlights on, you see on the other side of the
room, the back of a woman with short black hair. Orpheu is resting on her shoulder. She appears to be facing one of these creatures there's lying down. She starts to turn slowly. She is about forty-five years old, but she's quite pretty for her age. Her eyes are much more whitish than you remember, Beatrice. She looks at you all, she looks at Beatrice. ???: Daughter? B: Mom?! Triz: I will run to her and hug her. ???: Don't come close, don't come close! Triz: Man, I'm already on her, do I have to push, do anything? GM: No,
you can go for it, okay. Are you going to run to her? Triz: Yes. GM: Okay, do a Constitution test. Triz: Failure GM: When you run up to her, she says "don't come close!". You ignore her and you see her smiling sadly, with teary eyes. She closes her hands on something that you can't see, and you see her, from the core out [PUFF], turning a glow and disappearing in midair. Leaving only Orpheu, that starts [wings flapping] to fly. B: What the fuck! Joui did you see the woman?! J: I saw, did she call you daughter?
Was she your mother? GM: Orpheu comes back and lands on your shoulder. B: Orpheu... (Luba: Joui tries...) Luba: Joui tries to look for traces. I don't know, of what... Where she was. If he can see anything that was left of her. GM: Going in the direction where she was, you see that there is one existed, a female one. She's full-figured, very wounded and bruised. It seems that she was being treated in some way. There were some bandages on her, but now she is dead. Triz: Do I recognize it? GM: No B: What the fuck was
that?! Did anyone else see this? GM: Looking around, you see mattresses, several bandages, a few bottles of medicine lying on the floor and a closet to the right. In the place where she was, (B: What's going on here?) You still see some purple and blue sparks that are disappearing. Triz: I will kneel where she disappeared (GM: There is a small mark on the floor.) Triz: I'm going to kneel there. GM: You kneel down, okay. You don't… Triz: Do I recognize the mark? What is the mark? GM: It's more of a dark spot on the floor,
marking where she was. Orpheu seems to have returned to normal. Calango: After, I get in shortly. K: It's okay here? What happened? J: I have a bad feeling. B: Something here is very wrong, Kaiser. Very wrong. K: Yeah, I know, but what happened? B: It was my mom! I haven't seen her for as long as I can remember and she was here. Orpheu saw her, Joui saw her! GM: She was full of tattoos. Just like the other escribes, all around the body, but not on the face. B: She was so similar to one of these
beings, she looked like one of them. Maybe she is here ?! K: Your mother... Calango: Then I point to this, this body that is in front of Beatrice. B: No, no, no. She was here! Right here! J: Actually, this woman looked like the people we were fighting with, Kaiser. B: She wasn’t like that, she wasn’t. Triz: One question, the last memory I have of her was she blind? GM: No. Triz: Okay. B: She was not like that! Her eyes were not like that. She had life, she… She was awesome. She was an amazing woman, she
had lively eyes. She was the best person I have ever met. How could she have disappeared like that? Luba: Joui puts his hand on Beatrice's shoulder. J: We will find out what happened, ok? B: Is she here? J: I don't know, the feeling was very strange. First Orpheu singing and her expression before it disappears. K: Did Orpheu know her? J: He landend on her. B: Orpheu, I don't... I don't know if he knew her. He... K: You don't remember when you gain Orpheu? B: No, the first memory I have is to be in a room
alone with this necklace and Orpheu looking at me from the corner of the room. I don't know where he came from and I don't remember him before. Rakin: Is there a residue on the floor, master? Where she said she was. GM: You can do a Paranormal Exposure test. Rakin: I want to see it. I want to do a Paranormal Exposure test. Sanity, right? GM: It's Sanity. Rakin: I failed. GM: You can't recognize anything special. Rakin: Ah. I will just observe it. Triz: Do I have any memories, any recall, any feelings, anything I can do? GM:
No, you saw.. Triz: About those sparks and everything. GM: No, no. You have never seen this before. Luba: Joui- I want to give a Finding on this woman's body. GM: Uh, go ahead. Rakin: I also want a Fiding it in the room, to see if I can find the bible. GM: Go ahead too. Triz: Beatrice is too confused, she is sitting in the same place thinking. About everything that is happening. Luba: I failed master GM: You don't find anything, it's a body just like other existed, it doesn't have anything with them. Rakin: Good success GM:
Good success, Dante! GM: You find, in that closet next to you, you find... Roll a Luck test, please. [laughs] Rakin: Dad is lucky. Now I'm going to fail because I freaked out, but let's go. Guaxi: Twenty, twenty daddy. Rakin: Normal success. GM: Normal? You find a complete first aid kit. Calango: Sweet. Guaxi: The guys find a hundred reais, kit, I don't find anything bro. Calango: I did 20 reais. (Rakin: Hey master.) Rakin: I'm overweight because I did the record thinking about everything. (Master: Alright. Don't worry, don't worry.) What's the weigh of the kit? (Calango: Now
you have nothing.) Rakin: No, I have nothing, unfortunately. GM: A first aid kit weighs... Three, because it's complete. (Rakin: I have nothing). GM: It has three charges and each charge decreases one in value, in size. Rakin: Nice, but pretend my weight is normal. Here is seventeen point two, but it's not. Couldn't find anything any bible? GM: No, there is no bible here, no. Rakin: I'll go and... D: Joui, can I see the map real quick? J: Of course Dante. Luba: Joui takes it out and give it to him. Rakin: I want to show it to
Joui then. D: On this map, we can see that the two rooms have the same symbol, right? GM: Oops. J: Yes. D: Practically, so I think that possibly... Rakin: No, wait. I want to give a Intelligence test now. In fact, I saw the correct map and I think it is not the same symbol. A: Right, this is looking like a cross, because- (D: I think this is not a cross.) A: It's a cross and a place for a doctor, an infirmary. D: I think this actually represents it. Exactly, I think in fact, the cross represents
the chapel and the “plus” represents the infirmary. A: Yeah. D: What is the question mark? J: It’s what we need to figure out. J: Dante, a question: why are you here with us? D: You asked me to show you where the Orphanage was. J: We asked you to show us where the Orphanage was. What made you come inside? D: I was raised here. I thought my presence here was necessary. J: It definitely is, but… What do you get from this? D: Freedom for a while, no? J: Seems good enough. Ok. Can I get the map
back? D: Sure. Rakin: I give it back to him. Luba: Joui keeps it. GM: Ok. K: Let’s go? (J: Let’s...) J: Let’s keep going. A: Ok. You first. J: Of course. I’ll go first with Cesar. (GM: Leaving-) A: [whispering] Kaiser! GM:-this room, you go back to the hallway, you pass by the chapel's door, and where do you go now? Calango: Towards the question mark, right? GM: Ok. Luba: Right. GM: You can put yourself around here... I’ll take Kaiser where... Calango: Ah, you’ll take him? GM: I take him up to… where you need to make a
choice, around there. Here! Up here, there’s a hallway to the side. And up ahead there’s the door to what seems to be the question mark. A: Are you coming, Bea? (Calango: Ok.) Luba: Ok. Rakin: God, I’m so blind. Triz: Bea leans on the bed to get up and she looks at Orpheu like... like... she felt a- (Guaxi: I put it but I can’t see.) Triz: Like she recognized something different because she doesn’t understand how he knows her mother. She looks, completely not understanding this situation, and leave the room in silence. GM: Orpheu seems to be
fine, he was really weird, you’d never seen him like that before, he was anxious, almost like he wanted to say something, then he flew into the room. But now, he's normal You look at him now and he nudges towards you asking for petting. Triz: I pet him but... B: Where did you come from? Triz: I’ll just talk to him, low, talking to myself, I’m thinking about a bunch of things. GM: Ok. A: Eh... Bea? B: I’m coming. A: Are you ok? B: Not really, everything is so confusing but… we have to be ok. A: Yeah.
That’s exactly what this job is. Guaxi: I’ll leave. Rakin: I’m waiting for them over here. GM: You scare him! You turn around and “Ah!” Dante is right in front of you. Guaxi: Fuck! [Laughter] A: Dante! D: Sorry, dude! (A: My God!) D: I was waiting for you guys. (A: You’re supposed to go with them!) D: Sorry, I was waiting for you guys. A: That’s ok. Come on, let’s go! (Calango: We’re not that far, ok?) GM: You… you’re around the corner now, that happened while they were talking over there. Triz: I’m by Arthur’s side, right? GM:
Yes, and you can put yourself up there. (Guaxi: Yeah, we’re together, the 3 of us.) GM: You all got there together, they waited for you. (Triz: I’m...) I’m just going to say to him: B: I don’t know what happened to my mom, she just disappeared. I feel like she could still be here, somewhere. A: You said you saw her, right? B: Yes. Joui did too. A: So we’re going to grab on the hope that she's alive. That’s it, let’s go! Rakin: There’s a wall here. Triz: Am I the last one (Luba: Can I talk to...)
Triz: or is it Dante...? (A: Do you want to...) A: You can go first, I’ll go behind. Luba: Can I talk to Kaiser with no one listening? GM: Of course. Luba: Can we switch channels? GM: We can. Luba: Ok. GM: Let me drag you with me. (Calango: I...) GM: Just wait, this one and… Here. J: Hey, Kaiser. Calango: I’m kidding, go, go. K: Hi. J: It seems like Beatrice’s mom was over there. Calango: I can’t… I’m not… Hello? GM: Ahn... is it not working? I think Calango is bugged. Calango: Am I? I’m not... GM: Is
it working now? Calango: Luba? Luba: I’m listening. Calango: I can’t hear Luba. GM: I can hear both of you. Calango: I can hear now, I can hear now! (Luba: It’s fine, let’s go back.) Luba: Oh, ok ok. J: Hey, Kaiser. K: Hi. J: That woman we saw… It was Beatrice’s mom. K: Did you see her too? J: Yes. She looked just like all those people we were fighting. She had the tattoos, the white eyes, but… when Beatrice saw her and ran towards her, she said “don’t get close”. Then she smiled and disappeared. I have an
awful feeling about this. Orpheu sang before and I think she died. K: Wait… Do you think Beatrice's mom died? J: I think something really weird happened. K: What was she doing when you saw her? J: Just looking at that creature on the bed. But don’t tell this to Beatrice, she still has hopes that her mom is alive here, somewhere. I just got this really, really bad feeling. K: Do you think Beatrice’s mom might be responsible for the creation of these creatures? Triz: Oh, we’re back? GM: You arrive and they’re talking. You can say one last
thing, you didn’t hear they coming. Say your last sentence, Joui replying to what Kaiser asked. J: I don’t think so, she wouldn’t want to hurt her own daughter. Triz: I’m the first one to hear this, right? Guaxi: No, you get closer here GM: You arrive. Yeah, you hear that. Triz: I was the first one to get here… I’ll say. B: Hi? What were you guys talking about? K: About what happened it was weird. But we’ll figure it out together. B: Ok. K: I’ll go first. GM: Ok, you go and there’s this entrance to the right.
It’s really big. You can see a bit of grass. K: Joui, is this the outside area? J: Ah... Luba: Joui checks the map. GM: Ok. Luba: And does he confirm that it’s the outside area? GM: He confirms that there’s a big square there. K: Ah, ok. J: César... eh, Kaiser. Ah, sorry... damn it! Ah, sorry! Kaiser, there’s an area… there is a rectangle, a square, I don’t know if it’s the outside area, I don’t understand maps. Aren’t you the one who plays games with maps? Luba: I give it to him. K: No, I’m awful with
maps, you can keep it. I’ll look around, carefully. J: Ok. GM: Map. A: I’m good with it. K: Ok. Ah... Ok, yeah it’s the outside area. Calango: I… want to look around. GM: Ok. Calango: Get my lantern, put it over... GM: Do you have your gun too or not? Calango: I have my gun in one hand and my lantern in the other, like this. GM: Ok, ok. You have the rifle pointing down. You turn... (Calango: Aham.) GM: and the moon’s light is lightning up this area a bit, so it’s not completely dark like the others,
and you can see a crowd in an open outside area. Guaxi: Holy shit! GM: You see some of the Escribes, some of the Existed walking around and moaning… Give me a moment. Here. You see this big courtyard. It doesn’t look taken care of. One day, maybe it used to be a cute little park. There's a big dead tree, maybe an oak. There are some small fences with little bushes and plants coming out of it, some wooden benches and a playground up ahead. To the side, far away from you you can see what looks like a
cemetery, but it’s far away and it’s too dark for you to be sure. Some dead plants and flowers are next to it. Calango: Ok. GM: You see what grabs your attention the most right away, poiting the flashlight, a man standing on top of one of the benches. He's on the arm of the bench He’s shirtless and his back is full of tattoos. His hair is medium, black, and he has a ponytail, and he has bloodstains all over his body: his arms, a bit on his neck. And he’s standing up, looking to the other side. K:
Guys... Calango: I-I go back a bit. K: There’s more people over here. Just like the ones we found… when we got here. J: Dude, how did they not hear the shots? B: They probably heard it. But do you remember what the first one said? That we finally got here, maybe they were waiting for us. K: Ok, and what do we do? GM: Roll a Listen for me, Kaiser. J: This is terrible. Calango: Good. GM: Good? You can see that as soon as you aimed the lantern, a couple of seconds went by, you went back and
you can hear someone speaking from that area. You hear: ???: Now I understand it. I understand what Kian promised! Can you… can you feel this, brothers Escribes? Can you feel the blessing Kian granted us? The Deconjuration is real! Kian knows! GM: And the others start screaming “Kian knows!” K: Did you hear that? GM: Only you heard it. (Triz: Did we hear it?) Calango: Didn’t they hear the screams? (GM: They heard low...) GM: You heard the screaming, some voices, but only Kaiser heard exactly because he's closer. J: What did they say? K: I didn’t get it,
they said something… talked about the Deconjuration and they mentioned someone named Kian. J: Deconjuration? K: I… I heard they say that Kian knows. And that he promised… I don’t know what he promised, it’s like they’re praising this Kian. Triz: Do I recognize this name? GM: No. J: If they said Deconjuration, that means miss Liz is here. K: That’s true. But what now? We… are we going to deal with them or are we just going to keep going? J: If we keep going, we have to go to the second floor, if we go there and leave
them here, we’re trapped upstairs. K: Yeah, I… I agree. Is everyone ready? J: Kaiser... (A: Always.) J: Guys, leave one of them alive, I have some questions. K: I’ll try Joui, but I can’t guarantee that that will happen. J: And let’s not mess with the creatures. Luba: Wait, I don’t know if there are creatures. Delete that sentence. D: Wait, you want to fight what’s in that room? K: That’s the idea. D: According to the map, there’s an area up ahead, don’t you think that it’s better to just try to go by unnoticed? Sorry to interrupt.
K: No, why? Are we going to deal with some of your friends? D: No, I just think you’re putting yourself at risk. I don’t know how many people are there, but from the map, this area seems a lot bigger than the other. And… if a small room... (A: We really shouldn’t put ourselves at risk.) ...like that was enough to hurt you like this, I fear a big room like this one can have even more enemies and cause more than just a bruise. K: We just have to be more careful this time. D: All right. J:
Dante, have you heard this name before? The one Kaiser mentioned. Kian. D: No. J: Ok. K: One more thing, Dante. Calango: I get closer to him. K: Even though we’re fighting together, I always have an eye on you, ok? If you try anything, I’m watching. D: Of course, I didn’t expect less. (A:Yeah, we’re watching.) K: Ok, ok. Joui, get your bow ready. J: Ok, calm down.. (K: And come here.) ...wait, wait. Luba: Joui gets the map again. GM: Ok. J: Ok, do you see that there’s another entrance to this area down here, in the southern
area? A: Yeah? J: I think we should split up. J: Two of us attack from up here, (A: Now?) and two attack from under. We leave them trapped. A: Ok, but who’s going down? J: I can go. But it would be nice if someone went with me. A: I’ll go with you. D: Can I go with you too? I want to check something. (B: Wait...) B: ...whoever goes the other way down would be getting here now, right? Where we are now? J: No, no. (A: No.) We go through the bathroom, through the shelf behind the
cabinet, (A: And we come back.) J: through the shelf on the wall, and we go through the front. B: Ok. J: Through the front door. Dante, what do you want to check? D: I have a theory about these beings and the men that are here. I just want to confirm it. J: What’s your theory? D: I want to see if these creatures and these men have similar tattoos, or if they're the same one. J: Okay. Beatrice, will you stay here with Kaiser? B: But, actually, I think we should go together because our weapons are silent,
so it could be more interesting for us to attack from behind. J: Anyway, I prefer to corner them. We’re going to catch them in the crossfire. J: It's better. (B: Ok.) A: Wait, but how we'll know... (B: I'm here with Kaiser) how will the ones here know that we are there already? J: They'll see my arrow A: Ok. J: When I give the signal, we'll attack together, okay, Kaiser? K: Ok, I agree. J: Okay. Luba: So Joui goes with, Dante and Arthur, we'll walk all this way around, master. GM: Constitution (A: No, I'll stay I'll
stay, I'll stay.) GM: So, wait, who- (A: Only you and Dante go.) B: No, come on... I can't talk. A: No, I'll stay because Kaiser, he needs me if anything happens. J: Okay, that's right. B: So I'm going with Joui. A: Ok. J: Dante, do you have your gun there? D: I have. J: It should be loaded. Rakin: I want to check the clip because I think I haven't checked it since I got it. D: Can you help me here? I don't know much about guns, can you see if the clip is full? J: I
can. (A: And I'll even recharge here too) Rakin: Okay, I give my gun to Joui for him to see. Luba: Joui will look, if there is ammo. GM: Give a firearms test. Luba: Firearms, man?! Rifles... GM: Pistols. (Luba: Ah, there are... pistols, right?) Luba: [PFF] Fail. GM: It seems to be all right. D: Is everything okay with it, Joui? Luba: (laughter) J: It seems to be all right. D: Perfect, thanks. Rakin: I put the gun in my hand, I trust him. GM: This is the weapon, the glock that you had taken earlier from one of
those escribes, right? Rakin: Yeah, I got it from the escribes. GM: Yes, that's the guy who shot twice, if I'm not mistaken. Ok, just for... (Rakin: The guy who shot twice.) GM: That's it. Guaxi: I think he only shot once, yeah... (Luba: I don't think he took a shot.) ...I think he hadn't a gun. Rakin: Ah he died, he shot once and died. GM: Okay, good to know. Rakin: He took IK¹ for a virote. Calango: He's the guy who had an extended clip. GM: Okay. Rakin: It's true, this is the guy who had a fifty-seven
capacity full magazine. GM: You then hand the glock over to Dante. J: Are you ready? K: Ready. A: Yes, we will wait for you. J: Ok. Beatrice and Dante, come on. D: How are you going to give the signal that's going to be okay? Just out of curiosity. J: I will attack first. (A: Not us, you.) J: No, I attack first. (K: Wait, Joui.) J: Hi? K: It's very dark, what if I can't see you from the other side? J: You will hear, one of them will fall. B: We can flash the flashlight (Guaxi: Wow.)
they can't see. J: Could be too. K: Okay, come on. (J: Come on.) Rakin: It's going to be a lot of shit. Luba: Master, do we need to go all the way? GM: Uh, no, you can throw... you get down there, I'll take you, I just need.. (Rakin: I just want to go into that room first.) GM: You can just go. Who's going down there then taking this path? Luba: Joui, Beatrice and Dante. (Triz: Beatrice, Dante and Joui) GM: Ok. And at the top? Calango: Arthur and Kaiser. (Guaxi : Kaiser and Arthur) GM: Okay, is
it the bathroom you go through? Luba: Oops, that's right. GM: Joui goes straight down the corridor, he realizes, he opens the map “Ah! True”and he comes back. J: Damn it! (GM: You can go taking yourself, ah...) So Kaiser and Arthur stayed up here. (Rakin: I got lost) Calango: Right. Rakin: Wow, I really need a flashlight, dude. Luba: Joui got lost again [laughs]. No, he didn't, it was right. GM: Okay. D: Joui, please, I can't see without a flashlight. Guaxi: Joui is awesome. D: Calm down Joui, Joui. Joui! Calango: Dante is like “Hello ?! Hello?! Guys!”
GM: I'll take you, let me take you. Rakin: Calm down, I want to go to that room first, I want to go to that room- (GM: Which, which, which?) GM: The one from... wait... where was the party, there? Rakin: Yeah, the party one. (GM: Wait, Joui...) ...let me come back with Joui then. Luba: No, no, no, come back then, yeah. I just thought we were going straight. Triz: I got lost from you. Rakin: Dude, the bumblers. GM: Beatrice, you pass by the janitor's room, ah... you don't see them there. But you see some closests, some
stuff there. Beatrice: I want to roll a Finding. GM: Where? Guaxi: "Some stuff there". Triz: In the closets, on some stuff there. GM: Um, in what closet do you want to find? Triz: Can I try them all? GM: You can, you can try. There's a closet up there. (Triz: Ok.) Triz: Uh... finding, here. I failed in the closet up there. GM: You open the closet, did you fail? Roll a Luck test, please. Triz: Sure. Rakin: You find a million reais. Luba: Damn... Luba: You can buy a lot of rice. (Triz: I rolled 13 but I
failed.) GM: You rolled... OK, you can't find anything in that closet. Triz: Okay. And the other closet? GM: Roll the dice. That one has many pots and utensils. the cupboard up here, in... D: Joui, do you know where Beatrice is? Triz: Regular success. GM: Luck? J: I think she's looking for something back there, I'm keeping an eye on the hallway. D: Okay. (Triz: Fail.) GM: You failed with a "regular"? You find... a flashlight. Triz: Well, I'm going to get the flashlight. GM: Okay. Triz: Is there anything else? Any other closet I can rummage through? GM:
There's an area back here that you haven't explored. And there's another closet in it. (Triz: Here.) GM: There's a bed too. Triz: Where is it? All right, I'll roll a Finding. Fail. GM: Okay, Luck. (Triz: Luck?) Please go, no, I didn't get it. GM: The dice are cursed for Beatrice Portinari. Triz: Totally. GM: Right. (Calango: Damn!) Beatrice, inside that closet, you only find some brooms and dish soap. And when you look over to the bed, you see a Bible. Triz: Great! I'll take the Bible. GM: I'll be nice this time, because nobody is going to
do it. Triz: Thank you. Uh… I'll get the Bible. GM: It's a really old Bible, and it's been teared apart, and it's kind of dirty. Triz: Oh, okay. Guaxi: We've beaten the game. (Luba: Put it in the inventory.) Triz: It's there already in the inventory, I'm already writing it down here. Rakin: God. GM: And then you can find your team here. Triz: Okay. Oh, you are here. GM: Dante arrives in this room. Triz: I'll call him, I'll say: B: Dante, I found a flashlight, do you want it? D: I accept it, thanks. Triz: I'll give
him the flashlight and: B: I found a Bible. D: We should call the others, then, to see what's in the other room, right? Before doing anything, at least before entering the life-and-death confrontation with… GM: I'm going to ask Calango and Guaxi... I'm going to get them out of here. Done. D: Could you give me that flashlight, Beatrice? Triz: I gave him the flashlight already D: Okay, how do I turn it on? B: There is a button there, just press it. GM: [CLICK] D: Did I turn it on? (GM: Uh, yes.) B: I turned it on.
Rakin: Wow, it's lit. OK. GM: The power of light, Dante! (B: I think we...) Rakin: Wow, I'm very happy, I don't need to spend sanity anymore. D: Yeah, let me come here quickly, just so I can see something, guys. Rakin: I want to come over where these two bodies are. (GM: Okay.) Rakin: I want to take the arm of this creature that is on the ground, and the arm of this guy that is here and compare them to check if the tattoos are very similar. GM: They are very similar, the writings seem to have been
written in different fonts, tattooed by different people, but it is the same idea, they are almost identical, it's only the content that changes. Rakin: Okay, nice. D: Uh... Joui... GM: The tattoos are all stories and words and texts, it doesn't seem to be organized, it seems that whoever tattooed them was writing, saw a blank space, wrote on it... saw another, made different stories and different words. There is no specific pattern, it seems to have been something very organic. Triz: How long would it take me to search all the Bible's verses? GM: Wait, what do you
mean? Oh... Triz: The ones I wanted, yeah. (GM: You don't... do you remember them?) Triz: I have the picture on my phone. GM: Okay, I'll let you roll a... roll an Intelligence test to check... will you see all the verses now? Oh, Library Use, please. (Triz: Yes.) Okay, just because I got a good success. GM: Library Use is the right test. (Rakin: Oh, I want to go back.) D: Uh, Joui? J: What are you doing? (Triz: Uh…) J: You're taking too long. (D: I wanted to ask you a favor, Joui.) J: What? D: Uh... have
a theory about these beings and- (GM: You took too long.) D: -Those men that are on the floor. J: Okay, speak up. D: Yeah, I think that... these beings, based on the amount of tattoos that they have on the bodies of dead beings and men that have some tattoos on their bodies, they are slowly becoming this being that is on the ground. Or... something like that... Luba: Joui glances at Beatrice. D: And one thing I noticed about... these beings, when they die... not these beings, sorry. The men and the occultist girl who died, they didn't
seem to be afraid of death. So it could be some kind of ritual that, even though they're slowly transforming into this... weird being, it gives them some kind of immortality or... some kind of overlaying of the soul itself. J: So you think that when we kill these people… Even if we kill them, they become these creatures afterwards? D: I don't think they can become the creature, but I think that regardless of what we're doing, whatever kind of combat we have with these creatures, with these beings, these occultists... We might not be killing them for real
and they might just come back, so I think that... we're at a disadvantage in any kind of combat here. J: But what choice do we have, then? Because if… D: I think going unnoticed is still the best option. J: I'm the last person who wants to see my friends get hurt, but... I'm afraid that if we don't face them first, they will come for us later. D: It's plausible, but we'll be... At a disadvantage, basically. We don't have enough information about them... to know if their death is a real death. But I understand completely. J:
Okay. Triz: In the meantime, I'm searching, but I got a 3 and it was a fail. GM: OK, you can... you can find it, but it'll take you a while. You've found two so far, which ones have you looked for? Triz: Uh… Jeremiah and Job. GM: Jeremiah 12:17. "'But if any nation does not listen, I will completely uproot and destroy it,' declares the Lord." And what's the other one? Triz: Job. GM: Job 10:08. "Your hands shaped me and made me. Will you now turn and destroy me?" Triz: I'm going to take a picture of these
two too, to remember them later. GM: Okay, I'll bring... I'll ask all of you to go to “Deconjuration 2” and I'll bring Calango and Guaxi here. Luba: Okay. (Rakin: Okay.) GM: Arthur, Kaiser. (Guaxi: Yo!) GM: They are taking too long, you don't know why… (Calango: Holy shit!) GM: …it's been like five, six minutes and they show no signs of life. Did you come here again? Did you go to the other side of the corridor? Calango: I went to the other side. (GM: OK.) You'll... As you're passing by, roll a Stealth test, please. Calango: Okay. GM:
Guaxi, you're muted, I think. Guaxi: [Laughing] No, I'm here, I was just laughing quietly. Calango: Aw, man... (GM: Okay.) Calango: I failed. GM: You're passing by and… I want you to roll Finding, actually. Calango: [Sighs] Oh shit, we're fucked. GM: Okay. (Guaxi: Fail.) GM: You had a Disaster, you can't see anything, you just pass by and don't notice anything. Calango: Alright. K: [whispering] Why are they taking so long? A: [whispering] What? GM: They're taking too long. K: [whispering] They're taking too long. A: [whispering] What? Guaxi: I'm on the other side of the entrance, I can't
hear... Calango: Oh, you can hear it, you can hear it. (Guaxi: Can I hear it?) GM: It's far, it's far, this is the distance, you're like ten meters apart, almost. Calango: I'll gesture like this. Guaxi: I'll gesture back. GM: You are looking, what are you waiting for? Guaxi: Joui's arrow. Calango: We're waiting for Joui or... GM: So, looking over there, right? Guaxi: Yes, a flashlight, yes, yes. Calango: We turn and move, take a look a nd see if we can see their flashlight on the other side. GM: Okay. Arthur, roll Finding please. Guaxi: Absolutely, buddy,
absolutely. Let me just find Finding, which is the hardest... Here. Fail, bro. GM: You don't see anything. Guaxi: Wow, why? GM: You only see... These people, some of them are chatting, some have walked from side to side. A: [whispering] Hey! Kaiser! [PSST] Guaxi: I'm calling you here. [Laughs]. A: Okay, I'm going there! Calango: I'll move over there again. GM: Stealth, please. Calango: Oh! Crap. Fail. GM: Okay. You go to the other side. Calango: Fuck. Fuck, the guys are so... Guaxi: The guys are already looking at us. A: [whispering] Where are they? K: I don't know,
it's taking too long, did something happen to them? A: Do you want to try to look for them? K: I don't know, that is not the plan. What if we ... mismatch, and if we go after them and they arrive at the other side? A: Do you want to try to face these guys just the two of us? K: It is better not, if something happened to them in the middle of the road, we will be alone against this many people. A: I mean, they will be alone against the two of us, right? Guaxi: Then
I do it like that on his arm. K: Lets ... let's wait a little longer, at most about 5 more minutes, if they do not show up we go after them. A:Ok then. GM: Ok- -I'm going to ask you to go back down there. Actually let me go, let me go, hold on. Guaxi: Okay. GM: We're back. (Rakin: 15 sanity...) Rakin:Uh! Luba: Uh! GM: So, you ... we came back from where you left off now, you were taking the Bibles, talking a lot. It's been a long time since you came, it's been...almost 8 minutes you've
been in this whole conversation. Rakin: Okay, I want to give just one last one found in the room to see if I find something relevant. GM: Roll it. J: Hey, quick! (Rakin : While she is reading the Bible.) D: Yes, sorry. Rakin: Find ... here. Good success. I'm fine today, man! GM: I don't see anything relevant in this room, ,the only thing that catches your attention above other things is ... the weapon that the most different guy of all was using. The guy who was with a sickle which actually was a pipe with a knife
strapped onto it. You wonder why they would be using a knife tied to a pipe instead of a scythe. Rakin: Okay, I want to look and take a look. You ... I'm going to ask you to give a Paranormal Exposure test when you take it. Rakin: Ah, bro. It was hard to get this test right, I failed. GM: Okay. You realize that this knife certainly has some kind of paranormal power over it. It has wave designs embedded on the blade. Rakin : I want to get the knife, can I? I want the knife and say:
D: Guys ... (GM: You can take the knife.) D: Guys, eh ... that was the knife that cut Kaiser, right? B: Hm … yes. D: Whatever it is that cut him, may have some ritual in it, and he may be under the influence of it now, we don't know. B: You are right. I... (D: I think ...) B: I think we could have this knife, in fact, it seems that it really hurt him. It might be useful. (J: Like what ...) J: Like what is going on with his pictures? D: It can be, it can
be...but I don't think so, because it was for all of us. (J: It doesn't make sense because) J: We saw it too. D: That's right. J: I think we should come back first and talk to them about the Bible that we found about and Kaiser's wound, but you want to continue with the plan, Joui. (J: This can wait.) J: Dante, that can wait. At the moment, we either attack first or they attack first. B: I agree with Joui. (D: Okay.) J: It is very dangerous to leave them alive, especially on our backs. Let's take care
of one problem at a time, okay? D: Okay. J: Okay. B: I didn't want to agree, but I agree with Joui. Triz: I'm carrying the Bible in my bag. (J: And they ... I have ...) J:I have ... I'm almost sure that Miss Liz is here. If what Kaiser heard, and they said something about Decojuration, it matches. (GM: Someone is typing. Ah, sorry.) J: That exactly matches Miss Liz's notes in her apartment. D: Easy, no problem. J: Ok. Are you ready? B: Yes. J: Let's go. Luba: So we follow the corridor. GM: So you go
ahead, continuing to that entrance where you had arrived, right, at...at the orphanage. Turn Joui just to see there. Luba: Okay. GM: And you can see, I need you to do a Stealth test. Rakin: Oh shit! GM: And now I can pull the ... ah ... I'm going to pull the Guaxi and Calango now. GM: You finally see on the other side, Kaiser and Arthur- (Triz: Normal success.) Calango: Holy shit! (GM: A flashlight is emerging.) Rakin : Wow, I failed by 1! 15. Failure. Luba : I got a Good one. GM: I'm gonna ask all of
you to roll Stealth test (Triz: I got Normal success.) GM: and tell me the results. Guaxi: Everyone, everyone? (Luba : Again?) GM: We are going to start a stealthy encounter. Yes. Not again, if you already rolled it, just tell me the result. Triz: I forgot the value, (Luba : 17.) Triz: if someone from the chat saw it. (GM: No, not 17, what kind you got.) Luba : Good. Calango: Alright! I failed. GM: Alright... Triz: Mine was a Normal success. GM: Here ... GM: Alright! Uh ... Beatrice- (Calango: Only got failures today) -Regular ...? Triz: Yes.
Guaxi: Regular too. GM: Uh ... hold on, Joui? Guaxi: Ah, I thought I had to say like all the regulars... ( Luba : Good.) GM: Okay, good... Kaiser? Calango: Failure. GM: Now Arthur Guaxi: I got regular as well. GM: And Dante Rakin : Failure. GM: Okay, you have 4 meters. Calango: That sucks bro! GM: For you all to walk. (Guaxi: It had to be 4, right bro.) Calango: For all of us? GM: All of you. Calango: Holly Shit ... There is no way for us to communicate, right? I want to go back to the other
side bro. Again. GM: Why? Wait, ok, ok, ok. Calango: Here, there. GM: You're going here, ok. you spent the 4 meters of that round. Guaxi: Holy shit. GM: Er ... some of them move ... (Calango: A find again to see what's going on?) GM: Here ... (Guaxi: A Find!) GM: Here ... Calango: No? Luba: Hold on, let the master move the tokens. (GM: Er ... you want ...) GM: You want to do a Find check? Roll it. Calango: I want to see what's going on there. (Guaxi: While he's passing) Calango: Ah, bro! I give up
today, it's not working, today it's not working. GM: You- -only see the same thing, that guy standing on the bench. You can see that there is one of those who existed lying on the bench, you can see that there is a lot of blood gushing on that bench. But you can't see anything more than that. Calango: Okay. Shit. GM: The rolls are so cool today. I mean, it started ... you wasted all the good rolls in the beginning. They only got 19, 20, now they get 2. (Guaxi: Calm down, no! Calm, calm, calm.) Guaxi: We
didn't waste anything good, the best will still come. Calango: I'm already in position- -I already saw the flashlight of the staff, right? GM: Yes, you saw the flashlight Luba: Joui is positioned this way here, look. Can I move master? Until here. (Triz: I will ...) GM: Ah ... where are you going? Luba : To the right, here. GM: Okay. He can. Triz: With Joui. I'll say: B: Joui, what if you tried to hit one of these ... one of those animals that light up to distract people? J: I think they will come after me if
I do that. B: I don't think so, because they won't know what woke them up. J: I... I don't know, I don't want to. I don't think it's a good idea. (B: It would be-) -a great way to distract them, Joui. If the creature suddenly wakes up ... (GM: You can't talk at this distance here-) -In ... in stealth, you have to be here. Luba: Ah, ok. B: If the creature suddenly wakes up, and starts to move, their attention will be on the creature. Get it? GM: Arthur, please roll a Find. Guaxi: And let's fail
again! (Calango: Go Arthur-) Calango: By God's sake, no no no no no !. Guaxi: I have very little Find, bro, it won't work, dude. Failure. 13, dude, ahh ! J: Beatrice, the less we mess with the paranormal here, the better. B: The truth can sometimes be used to our advantage. J: Damn it! B: Think with me, Joui, it'll distract them! The less focus on us, the better. Rakin : Am I hearing all this? B: We're also outnumbered. Rakin: Am I listening, GM? GM: You are. Luba: Yes, yes. D: Guys, eh ... If the creatures aren't
really trying to grab these occultists and mess with their faces, I don't think they'll react or attack them, or do something like that. I think we'll only make one of them attack us and increase the number of enemies we have to face. J: Even when they were among these people, they came after us. And you saw that one of... one of those people, when we entered the orphanage, kicked them... and they just keep walking, I don't think they react to us. Maybe because we don't have those tattoos , or whatever. Triz: They are not just
to... just to understand better, GM, they have no contact with the living people, right? GM: What do you mean? Triz: Like, not trying to go after them like that ... (GM: They're not trying-) -to go after them or hold them like they did to you, no. Triz: Okay. B: Okay, then. J: Okay, I'm going to position myself on that other side. You guys get ready, I'm going to signal the boys. Luba : Okay, Joui is coming here. GM: Roll Find, Beatrice and Joui. Luba: Ok. Calango: C'mon, somebody save this..this...group. ( Guaxi: Please, bro, for God's
sake!) Triz: Er ... Extreme. ( Luba : Good.) GM: Extreme and Good? ( Guaxi: Wow!) GM: Okay! Guaxi: I think the trio over there is better than the duo here. GM: Beatrice... Joui doesn't see it, but Beatrice, when you point your flashlight, and you look through all these...escribes...existed... There's something... really disturbing... that catches your attention. Triz: Hm? GM: The guy standing on the bench, he's smiling, and he's looking directly at you Guaxi: Wow, I'm glad I didn't get that find, bro. Triz: I'm going to take two steps back, nudge Joui and point, in silence. (GM:
Joui is on the other side.) GM: You are nowhere near him. (Luba: Joui is on the other side.) Triz: Damn... Is Dante close to me? Rakin: I am. Triz: I'm going to signal to Dante. (Rakin: I'm on your side.) Triz: I'm going to do this so that he sees the guy as well. Rakin: Yeah, I'll take a look. GM: Find him, he's a long way off. Rakin: Regular. GM: You can see... (Rakin: With advantage 'cause she point me out?) GM: From a distance... It's ... Roll with advantage because Beatrice is pointing for you, actually. I'll
let you use that advantage. Rakin: Humble... Wow, 20! (GM: Okay...) ...You can see, you put your face on... And you can ... when you put your face on... You got Extreme ... You look... at his smile, and he looks directly at you, even though you think he is blind, and he makes a face of [surprise expression]... and you recognize... this person, Dante. This is Henry, who grew up in the Orphanage with you. Rakin: Wow. GM: He jumps... (Triz: I'll do it like this: [confused expression]) GM: ... from the bench, and starts walking towards you, with
a disturbing smile on his face. Luba: Joui has his bow pointed. GM: Joui, you don't know this is happening, you're just seeing this guy coming towards you. Luba: Yes, but I took ... but I saw him walking. GM: Yes, yes, exactly, you don't know that he knows this is happening, like, you can't act based on what Beatrice and Dante know. (Luba : Okay.) Rakin: Okay, I want to... (Luba: I have no vision of...) GM: Beatrice, you too... Hum... I want you to roll an intelligence test. Triz: Okay... Rakin: I want to pull Beatrice in the
meantime. Triz: I got 1, disaster. GM: You don't remember him. Rakin: Okay, I want to pull Beatrice... Tell her to leave. B: What is it, Dante? D: Get out of here now. (B: That guy saw us!) D: [Sighs] Let's get out of here now. B: Get out of here now? Why? (D: Yes.) D: Let's get to Joui, let's get everyone, we have to get out of here. B: Why, Dante? (J: What's going on?) Rakin: Did Joui hear? GM: No. Luba: I'm only seeing them talk. GM: Yes, you can see it, but it's too far. This
here... this here, like, from you to Beatrice, it's 10, 15 meters. You can't hear them whispering. You can see this guy, he's walking, he passes one of the Existed, slaps and pushes him aside, he's walking with a very disturbing smile. GM: And you see blood running around his mouth. (B: Speak, Dante!) Rakin: Okay, I'm pulling the... (B: Speak!) D: He's coming for us, we have to leave. B: But he has seen us... He has seen us. (D: He's walking towards us...) ... Exactly, we have to go. (B: Getting out of here will only slow it.)
B: Getting out of here will only delay more. Luba: Joui runs here, look... To prepare. (B: We, we...) GM: When you run... he's coming... and it's no longer a mystery, he knows you're here. He's getting closer... ???: I may be blind, but that doesn’t mean I don’t see you. GM: And he stops. J: What's your name? GM: He looks at Dante and Beatrice... ???: Hey! It was you! [Laughs] B: Us...? What do you mean by that, man? ???: Remember me? Triz: I've got the gun pointed. B: No? ???: The deal is... You don't have to
die here. It is not my job to kill you now. B: Now? What do you mean by that? ???: Do you remember? That day... (B: No man, I don’t remember.) ???: The day we took the photo, that photo. That day was... it was the first time that I felt... although at that time I had no idea what it was about, I didn't... And after all these years... that fraction of a second of that photo doesn't compare to what I feel now. Now it all makes sense. Everything was worth it! Gal was right, Decojuration is the
real destiny! Kian knows! You don’t have to die here… (Triz: I'll look at Dante.) ???: That’s not my role, but I can not let you go... with no blood being spilled. I have an offer for you... (J: What’s your name?) B: Say it... ???: Don’t you want to introduce me, Lilian? (B: Say it.) B: I’m sorry, Lilian?! Who is this Lilian that everyone keeps talking about? Dante… you… what’s happening? (J: Dante, Beatrice, who is this guy?...) ... Dante, who is this guy? (B: Speak, Dante!) D: Henri, get out of here. (Henri: Don’t you want to…?)
D: Leave them alone. (B: What?!) Hen: Is this how you treat an old friend? (B: Henri?!) Triz: I'll look at Joui, mad. B: Do you know me? Hen: It was you... B: I don’t understand what you’re talking about. Hen: You have two choices here. B: What are they? Hen: You can die here... but I don’t want to kill you... I just want to see your blood. I propose a challenge. B: What is it? Hen: If you want to call your friends on the other side and come here to the middle, we can discuss this better.
(J: No way.) GM: He turns his back to you and starts to walk. J: Hey! Damn it! Luba: Joui runs towards Dante and grabs him. (B: Joui, there’s something…) J: Who is that guy? [Guaxi laughs] D: I haven’t seen him since the orphanage caught fire, I... J: That’s not what I asked! Who is that guy?! D: He was… He’s Henri. He was raised with me, here in this orphanage. J: You seem pretty close. (Triz: Do I remember him now?) GM: Now you do, yes. You recalled him vaguely, now you remember. J: How did he know
we were here?! D: I don’t know… he must… I don’t know exactly how it works… I don’t know what rituals he knows, I just know that he was Gal’s best friend in the orphanage. Luba: Joui lightly pushes him, Dante, even though he’s really angry. J: This dude is useless! B: Dante… (Luba: I want to…) B: Who is Lilian? Rakin: Dude, I say nothing. B: Dante! Who is Lilian?! D: You are. B: And you remember me?! D: Yes. B: Say it! Tell me everything you know. D: I’ll talk about it later, now's not the time. B:
No! Say it now! GM: You see that all of the Escribes start gathering around this center here, and Henri is waiting in the middle. B: I need to know what you know and what I know that I don’t remember! D: You don’t need to know anything now, you just need to get out of here alive. That’s it. Triz: Wow, I turn my back to him, mad, I won’t talk to him anymore. GM: Kaiser and Arthur, you see this weird thing happening, that guy going over there, talking and then coming back. Calango: We saw them talking…
(GM: You saw him standing still there.) K: [Whispering] Arthur, what’s happening? A: [Whispering] I don’t know, where’s the signal? K: [Whispering] I don’t know either. [Joui sighs] Guaxi: I’m looking… (J: I’m tired of this.) Luba: Joui walks past Beatrice... he’s not aiming with his bow anymore, and walks towards the middle. GM: Ok. Triz: I walk after him. A: [Whispering] Joui is walking! K: Is it Joui? A: [Whispering] It’s Joui! Rakin: I go after them. (A: Shit.) Guaxi: I'll leave this corner here and walk too. Rakin: [Sighs] Ai, ai, ai… Calango: I point my gun to
everyone. Guaxi: I’m here. GM: When you get here, you see this guy, Henri, turning around and looking at you. Hen: [Laughter] Even if I was completely blind, did you hear all the noise you guys made over there? A: Are you talking to us? Hen: Is there someone else behind you? K: What if there is? Hen: I know there isn’t. K: He’s smart. A: He’s good. [Triz laughs] Hen: If I were you, I’d lower these weapons for now, you won’t need them now. J: Only after you lower yours. (GM: You see all the other Escribes sheathed.)
One of them is leaning on a scythe, the other has their gun still on it’s holster, the other doesn’t even seem to have weapon. K: I’d rather not, with all due respect. Hen: However you feel more comfortable. I propose three challenges, I just want to see blood spilled today, you don’t need to die. If you win at least two... I'll let you keep going and I know what you want. She’s waiting for you upstairs. Luba: When he says that, Joui grabs his sword. J: Where is she? Hen: Win the challenges and maybe you’ll find out...
Luba: Joui gets closer, slowly. (A: How do we know you’re not lying?) Luba: Joui gets closer, slowly. J: The only blood that will spill if you don’t tell me where she is, is yours. Hen: I wouldn’t do that if I were you. You don’t want to see my blood. J: I think I do. Where is she? Hen: First round… Will be with José. Where is José? GM: The dude with the gun says: ???: Ah, he was, he was in the party room, they were there drinking after what happened. Guaxi: Zé? He’s on vacation. Rakin: Zé
is gone, man. Zé went traveling. K: I think an intervention happened in their party. Hen: What did you do to him? J: What, can’t you see everything? (K: What do you think we did?) Calango: And I aim at him! Hen: I only see what I need to. J: Apparently you don’t. Hen: Well… J: If he was the first challenge, then he’s dead, the first... Hen: Agarim… J: We won the first challenge. Hen: You’ll have to be round one. GM: The dude with the scythe: Agarim: Let’s go! GM: He grabs the scythe: Agarim: Who? Who? Who?
Who? Hen: Which one of you believes is more apt to deal with Agarin without fireguns? I want to see cuts. B: And what will this lead to? Hen: Blood. B: Are we doing this for some reason? Hen: Yes, because I want to see blood. K: Isn’t it easier for us to just kill your friends so you can see their blood? Hen: No, I want to see your blood. B: Is it like a pact, or something like that? Hen: No, I want to see a battle. Luba: Joui looks at Kaiser and does like a positive signal,
you know? J: Fine, then, I’ll play your game. Luba: And he gets close. Hen: It’s not with me. GM: He takes two steps back. Hen: Agarim, you ready? Agarim: Of course I’m ready! I’m always ready! Let’s go! Blood, finally! GM: He looks at you, gasping, holding his scythe. Luba: Joui is silent, ready. Calango: Dude, I’ll stay behind this bench. Aiming at that guy, I’ll shoot if anything happens. GM: Who? Calango: I’m aiming at the dude with the scythe. GM: Okay. Guaxi: I’m the spotlight. (Luba: Joui looks at Beatrice) and does a positive signal too. Hen:
All of you can agree that we want a fun and fair fight, correct? A: I think so. Luba: I’m silent. Hen: Lower that gun. GM: And he looks at Kaiser over his shoulder, like this. K: What if I don’t? I’m not shooting...yet. A: Didn’t you tell us to get comfortable? He loves that position, he’s always like that. GM: You see, Kaiser, the guy next to him… he takes a few steps... He hasn’t said anything so dar, he was quiet. His hair is long and blonde, he has a lot of piercings around his mouth. He turns
to you, raises his hand at you. [Whispering] ???: Lower that gun. J: Kaiser, it’s okay. Calango: I lower my gun, but I still have it in my hand. GM: Dante, roll a Finding for me, please. Rakin: Another one that I know. Extreme. GM: You can see in the palm of his hand (Guaxi: One more for the pokédex) GM: a symbol, a ritual, tattooed. You don’t recognize the ritual. GM: You lower it, (D: Kaiser lower…) GM: he turns, serious. Rakin: Ah, did he lower it? Okay. Hen: Since you’re our guests, you can start, whenever you want.
GM: The dude with the scythe gets ready and he has a smile on his face, looking at you. GM: He’s looking at his own hands and he’s in ecstasy, all of them seem to be in an insane moment. J: Hey, Dante. D: Hi? J: Can I borrow that knife that you took? Rakin: I give it to him. Luba: Joui has the sword in one hand and the knife in the other, another book name. GM: Okay. Luba: Okay. What is the… do I need to add this knife in my sheet? GM: You can add it, it
gives 1d6 damage, it’s a medium knife and it uses Fighting/Brawl. I gave you, of course, the stats of a normal knife. Luba: Okay. Rakin: Is Joui hurt? GM: Is Joui hurt? Let me see. (Luba: A little.) GM: You can see… he’s a bit hurt, around the mouth, he had taken a pretty strong punch. Luba: Yeah, that's it. Rakin: Okay. Luba: Okay. GM: Whenever you want, Joui. You can see that he’s ready, just waiting for you. Luba: Okay. D: Wait, wait, Henri. Don’t you think we should be fair and treat my friend’s wounds first? Hen: Hm, I
can take care of that. GM: He walks between you two... He looks at Joui, he pulls a knife that he had. A really pretty knife, decorated, with a lot of waves... And he turns to his friend and [TSHHH] stabs his friend. [PLUSHH] He takes it out. Agarim: Fuck! Hen: Done. GM: And he steps back. Rakin: Fair. I didn’t say that, okay? J: Okay. GM: You see, that when he removes the knife, he [SLUMP] licks the blade and puts it away. J: Disgusting, I hate these people. Luba: Okay, I’ll attack first, with the sword. GM: Let’s
start the combat then. Let’s go. Guaxi: Sheesh, Joui’s theme. Luba: Where’s Joui’s theme? Luba: Okay, let’s go. Good. GM: Ahn, tell me how you attack him, please. Guaxi: Wow, I thought you were going to kill him. Luba: How is he standing? GM: He’s ready, (Luba: What’s his position?) GM: he’s holding the scythe with both hands, with the blade towards you, almost like a baseball bat, smiling, you can’t see it right, because he has a really big fringe, but he has a big smile on his face, and he’s bleeding out from his stomach (Luba: OK.) GM:
and you realize that… when he stabbed him, the size of the wound is bigger than the size of the blade. The wound opened even more when he stabbed him. Luba: Okay, I want to attack right there. From the side, I want to cut him from the side. (GM: Describe the movement of Joui,) not where he wants to attack. Luba: Ah, okay. Ahn, Joui runs, fast. GM: Okay. Luba: And tries to attack him crouching. GM: Okay, you run, you can attack. I’ll let you only with the sword, you don’t need the flashlight now I think. Luba:
Okay. GM: You don’t even have one. (Luba: Good.) GM: Good? Damage. Luba: Seven. GM: Seven? Okay. You run, you try to find a spot to attack you see that he uses his scythe to block the attack... your blade still hits him a bit and rips part of his ribs, it causes a bit of damage, but he: Agarim: Bastard! [TSHUU] GM: He turns the scythe up and tries to attack you… Like, he tries to attack you upside down. Fight back, Dodge, or Block? Luba: Fight back. Good. GM: He hits you. Guaxi: Wow. Luba: He got Extreme?
GM: No, he got Good. Luba: Okay. GM: You take 3 damage, the scythe... when you hit, the scythe passes through your arm, tearing the top part, here of the arm, and opening a rupture. You don't feel anything else, it looks like his scythe is normal. The blood gushes, and you drop some blood on his face, and he [SLUURP] also licks your blood. It's your turn. Unless someone wants to interrupt. If anyone wants to interrupt, let me know otherwise, it’s just those two. (Calango: Okay.) Luba: I attack again. With the sword. GM: How? Luba: I'm kinda
crouched, right? I'm kind of crouched, right? GM: Yes, you crouched and got yourself a cut here. Luba: Okay. Extreme. GM: How do you want to kill him, Joui? Calango: Uuh! Luba: Dude. It’s torn here, isn’t it? GM: Yes. Luba: Joui it's like he... it's like he has raised all the anger he was feeling for all these people, and the image of Liz trapped in a place like this practically kills him inside. Where he is torn apart, Joui wants to attack again with all his strength, and if possible, Master, leave him like, cut in half. GM:
I can... I can, I can yes. Guaxi: Fuck! GM: So, you see, Joui puts his sword in and pulls it out, and the guy, still with that smile after tasting Joui’s blood, the smile turns into an expression of agony and you see it opening to the side and it splits in two, with blood everywhere. The Existed around you, they are not trying to get stuck into you, they are just around, still groaning, and Joui ends with a huge blood trail. J: Ah. Is that enough blood for you? Henri: Haha! It's a good start, it's a
good start! Well, you won... GM: He moves forward. Henri: The first round. Now... I want to see a bit of pain. There is no need for blood. Nergal! GM: And that guy, silent, with long hair, takes a few steps forward. Henri: You are next. A tip: you won’t bleed. J: Okay, you can come. Henri: You... Do you want to go against him too? J: There is no way that my friends will suffer at your hand. (K: No.) K: You won't go again, Joui. J: Kaiser... GM: You see that Joui is really hurt, everywhere. (Calango: I
get up, bro...) I get up, nobody is saying anything, and I'm going there. J: Kaiser, this is not a joke. (A: Kaiser...?) Triz: I'm going to ask him a question. K: Look at you, Joui, you’re all hurt there! B: Henri, is this a test of endurance or is there going to be a counter-attack? Henri: It's a test of who can defeat him. You are not going to bleed. He can. J: In fact, I have a better idea. Dante. D: Yes? J: Why don't you fight with your friends? D: They are not my friends. GM: Henri
likes it, he looks at you: Henri: I like your idea! J: If they are not your friends, even better. Henri: What's up, lil' Gaspar, don't you want to come? A: Joui... isn't kinda mean to him? (Luba: Joui just looks at Arthur.) Rakin: I stay quiet. A: Isn't it kind of mean to him? J: Mean? Arthur, this guy knows them all. Henri: Is it the same when we were children. A: But so far he only helped us! Henri: Remember when we played here? I mean, you didn't play with anyone, you were alone in the corner with
Lilian. But we could make up for the moments that we didn't have together now. What do you think? I know you don't know Nergal, (J: Dante, no one will ...) J: Dante, nobody is going to force you to fight... (Henri: but he...) J: the choice is yours if you want to help. (Henry: He'll play like the way you know.) B: You don't like blood either, Dante, it can be good. Rakin: Wait, did Lilian tell me to go? Rakin: Ah... Beatrice told me to go? (Triz: I did.) Rakin: Wow, I look at her like... I get
visibly sad and fuck it, I go. GM: You can press 1 to take out the flashlight. Luba: Joui moves away and goes next to Beatrice. Master, I have 5 HP, can I use a kit of mine to, I don't know, sew some wounds? (GM: Uhn...) GM: I let you use a First Aid Kit to see if you can recover one D3 of life depending on the the success. Luba: What is the test I have to take? GM: And you have disadvantage here. Then you cancel First Aid. You do First Aid. Calm down, do you have
a serious injury? Luba: No. GM: Ah, so you don't do anything, you have nothing to do. Rakin: I want to talk to Henri, actually, before I do anything. GM: You are coming, you look at Henri's face full of blood, with a macabre smile on his face. He is really happy to see you. (D: Henri...) D: Why are you doing this? Henri: Because... because I need to. Because we all need it, Dante. D: Nobody needs any of this. Henri: For Kian. D: I don't know who this Kian is. Triz: Beatrice takes the book she has been
keeping since she did the ritual with Agatha and keeps it in her hand. GM: Okay. Ah, no, the book stayed with Agatha. Oh no, you kept it, you may have kept the book, but the book is really... Wait, the book you learned? Triz: Yeah. (GM: It's the big one, isn't it?) Triz: I need it to do the ritual. GM: No, you need the symbol, not the book. Triz: Okay, fine. GM: Do you take the book anyway? Triz: Er... the book has the symbol, right? GM: The book has the symbol. Triz: Yes. So... (GM: Okay...) GM:
the book is very big, there is no way you can sneak it, the book... It’s a very big book. Triz: Okay. I pulled it out. GM: Wait, remind me if the book you have is the book that was in the middle of the parking lot, or if it is the book that Sidney was carrying. Triz: That Sidney was carrying. (GM: So it’s small.) Okay. GM: Okay, so it is small, ok. Henri: Well, this time I don't think there is any way for anyone to start here, it will probably be at the same time. GM: The
occultist puts his hand in his pocket, and he pulls something metallic. He looks at you, Dante, you see his white eyes, and finally he opens a small smile, a little shy. Nergal: Do you want to draw on the coin? D: What kind of challenge are you looking to do? Nergal: It’s whoever falls first. D: Okay. GM: He is very happy to be able to flip the coin over and [PUFF] Nergal: Heads or tails? D: Heads. GM: Can I pull a coin here? Rakin: I would be cool. GM: Let me pull it. Uh... I think it's
here? hold on, hold on. Wow, I wrote everything wrong. I can, I can, I can. I can? Here! I can. I found it. Let's go. Luba: I forgot. I kind of spaced out here. Calango: Nice! GM: Heads or tails, right? GM: What did you say? Rakin: Heads. GM: Wait. Ah, it's "R". It’s heads! You see, he shows. Nergal: You start. [sigh] GM: He prepares like that, and takes a deep breath. D: Henri, I don’t know what kind of test you're trying to do, I don’t know what I have to do. Henri: You have to make
him fall, you didn’t hear it? You can make him bleed, you can make him pass out, you can do whatever you know! I don't know what you can do. But I'm curious. D: Can I ask you for materials then? GM: You... the guy looks at you, the guy in front of you. Nergal: Ah ... what do you need? GM: And he opens a bag inside the backpack. Henri takes 2 steps back. Henri: Do you still need this? I thought you were stronger. GM: He takes more, he takes 2 steps back. D: Uh... what I need...
I need animal ashes and a human organ. Henri: Well... GM: He puts, he... You see this long-haired guy, he just pulls out a bit of ash and hands it to you. Nergal: You'll find several organs beside you. Rakin: Okay, I go to the body of the guy who was cut in half, I put my hand inside him and take an organ from him. GM: OK, what do you want to take? Rakin: I want the liver. GM: You take his liver in your hand, blood runs down like this. Nergal: Whenever you want. GM: He closes his
eyes, waiting. Rakin: Right. Can I describe now what I'm gonna do? GM: And you notice that he's already putting his hand in his pocket to get something. You can describe your ritual. Rakin: Okay. I close my eyes... I reach out my right hand. First, I open the jar with ashes, actually. I leave it open with the liver in my left hand, I stretch out my right hand. [sigh] I exhale, and black smoke starts coming out of my hand. It starts going directly at the guy's face. GM: You see the smoke going towards him, and it
starts to form a silhouette around him like this, and you see several blisters and wounds appearing and his skin becomes more gray. And it’s like you’re watching a fast-forward of a disease advancing in his flesh. And [pop], the blisters burst with pus. [Nergal howls painfully] I'll ask you to deal the damage of your ritual for me. Rakin: Seven... damage. (GM: Seven?) (Rakin: Seven damage.) GM: You see him getting thin, malnourished, wrinkled, with... his skin is getting disgusting, full of wounds. And he's almost falling, like this. Nergal: My turn... GM: And he pulls out something made
of metal and holds it in his hand. He closes his eyes... and Dante, I'm going to ask you to take a Power check. Rakin: Sanity? GM: Yes. No, Power. Rakin: Power? How do I roll for Power? GM: There's a "POW" in your stats. Rakin: Oh. Power. Rakin: Extreme. (GM: Extreme?) Rakin: Extreme Success, I got a 20. GM: So you take... you take four damage points of Sanity, GM: and you start to feel (Rakin: Hold up.) GM: like something is boiling inside your head. GM: They are ideas... they are visions... you can't, it's like a thorn
growing inside your thoughts, it corrodes your brain inside, you start to feel a terrible headache, you start to... to imagine disturbing and horrible images... GM: and it hurts a lot! You got Extreme, you can still keep up (Rakin: I got Extreme...) GM: and now it's your round again. He's very debilitated (Rakin: I also have to take Sanity damage of my skill) You forgot the sanity damage of my skill. (GM: Oh, you failed, right?) GM: Did you roll Paranormal Exposure to use it? Rakin: No, can I roll it? Rakin: It counts as 84, 'cause I had
84 at the time. Damn! I got 97. GM: Okay, you failed, what's the Sanity die? For a Fail. Rakin: The Sanity die is 1d6. GM: You take four Sanity damage for failing too. When you use your ritual, you feel the entities on the Other Side consuming your head and trying to make you understand something that you're not allowed to. GM: You fight against it. But it's complicated. GM: Now it's your turn. He's falling, almost passed out, he's... (Rakin: 1d8 again.) GM: He's thin, it's like he's already in an old body. Pus drips out of his
mouth, (Rakin: Okay, more smoke starts coming out) GM: He's almost throwing up. Rakin: More smoke is coming out of my hand, a lot more. I'm just whispering. D: [whispering] Decadenza... GM: Deal the Damage. Rakin: Okay. Rakin: Five Damage. GM: You see the disease proliferating even more, his veins start to turn black and go up, his eye goes completely black. and he wilts and disintegrates [Screeching] and he... dude, he only becomes almost a skeleton, similar to what the Existed became, He just wilts and [blaaach] begins to vomit, he begins to vomit a lot and can't stop,
puking pus and blood, and organs, [blaaach] and [thump] he falls dead over all this vomit. Rakin: I look at Henri, and I say D: Is this what you wanted? Guaxi: I'm counting two wins. Henri: Okay. Rakin: I take the liver and throw it on the floor Rakin: I'm grossed out that I had to use it. Henri: Well, it’s two to zero. You won. but that doesn't mean I don't want to see a third round. GM: he starts walking past you, like this and he's walking... and you see him going towards an Escribe, an Existed, a
huge one, that's under the tree. He pulls it, as if it were a friend, and brings it Henri: This time, you don't need to choose any of you, I'll leave it as a parting gift. GM: And he takes a knife, stabs its back and [chop] cuts it open and instantly the creature: Existed: Alal! GM: [Blast] it starts to shine, and it's huge, muscular, it's, man, the size of two of you. You see it getting into a fighting stance, Henri just steps back. Henri: Good luck! See you some other time. GM: And he starts to leave.
The pistol guy: "Oh, my God!" and runs away GM: and this huge creature [thump, thump] comes running at you. And now I ask everyone to roll for Initiative. (Calango: Goddammit, bro.) J: Crap! Rakin: I get away from this, okay? First thing I do is get away. Let me roll... Where’s the Initiative? Luba: I failed. GM: Okay, let's go. In order of Extremes? Guaxi: Arthur. GM: I have to write here. Arthur first, GM: then... Goods? Nobody got Good, Regulars? Calango: Me. (Rakin: I got Regular.) (Guaxi: Kaiser and Dante.) GM: Ok, who has more Dexterity? Calango: I
have 17. Rakin: Definitely him, dude. GM: Kaiser, then Dante. Fails, Dexterity order? Triz: I have 13. GM: Joui? Luba: Fail. GM: How much Dexterity? Luba: Ah, how much… Sorry, 16. GM: Okay, so Joui, then Beatrice. Luba: 17, 17, sorry. (GM: You... it’s okay.) GM: Let me see the creature... Okay, it goes right after Dante. So we start with Arthur. Guaxi: Okay. (Guaxi: Can I see it from here?) GM: You see this huge creature coming at you. GM: It's running towards whoever is nearest, it was Dante, but he was running backwards, so it turned to Beatrice.
Guaxi: Okay, I'll position myself behind the table and shoot it. Triz: Just for the record, I put the book away and got the crossbow back. GM: Okay, this is one round. Triz: Er... Triz: I meant in the meantime, from the moment the guy... Triz: ...activated the beast there. (GM: You didn't tell me, you'll do it now) GM: You should have told me when you did it. (Triz: Okay.) Guaxi: Can I shoot? I clicked. And guess what? Regular. Wow, Regular Success, I thought it'd be Fail. GM: Let's see. You can roll the damage. Guaxi: Okay. Guaxi:
Uh... Eight. GM: Eight Damage? GM: You hit the nail, it goes through the head, takes a piece of its head off. But it doesn't hit the brain, you just see it bleeding a lot, blood running down from its bald head, and it continues [thump thump thump]. [Existed groans angrily] GM: He goes for Beatrice. GM: Now it's Kaiser. Calango: Let’s blow it up, bro. Calango: Regular. Huh, 15 was Regular? (GM: Okay, just one?) Calango: Just one, just one. GM: Okay, roll the damage. Calango: Nine. GM: Nine Damage? GM: Okay, you hit him in the mouth too,
rip a piece of its jaw off, it comes [grunt] with its jaw half open, you guys are doing an insane amount of damage before it can even do anything. Calango: You weren't expecting this. [Guaxi laughs] GM: [Murmuring] Yeah, you did a great damage. Okay, it's its turn now. He arrives at Beatrice, jumps over the small wall, and it comes [howls] and punches you with all its strength, Beatrice. You can Dodge, Block or Fight Back. Triz: Uhm... Triz: This thing I'm behind is a small wall? (GM: It's small wall, yeah.) GM: It jumped over it to
hit you from above. Triz: Okay, uhm... I'll Block. (Rakin: Wait, can't I shoot...) Oh, no, I... my action was to pick up the gun, okay? GM: But he is before you. Rakin: Ah, he is? (GM: Yeah.) Rakin: I got it, sorry. Triz: I will block. GM: Roll Fighting for me, please… GM: What did you get? Triz: It's loading. Triz: Fail, I got 8. GM: You got 8? Let’s go. You take... 4 damage. It falls on you and [Pow] hits you in the stomach, you [grunt] fall back, like this, you almost throw up that sandwich from
earlier in the HQ. It's ready to catch you and hit you more one time. Now it's Dante. Rakin: Wait, I saw this? GM: You did. Rakin: I run to pick up the damn organ again, man. Fucking hell. [Laughter] GM: OK, you go to the organ, pick it up and that's your action? Rakin: Yeah. GM: And it was about here. Now it's... Wait I have to note it here. It's Joui. Luba: Bro, Joui saw it all happen before him, and it was all very fast. Uh... is the creature holding Beatrice? GM: It will. It punched Beatrice,
and went down like that, and now that its about to catch, looks like it's going to grab her head. Luba: Right, so I will, I had the sword in hand, so I try to attack. GM: Go for it. Where are you positioned? Luba: Um... It jumped on her here, I go around here. GM: Yeah, it is here. Luba: With the sword. (GM: Go on.) Luba: I got Good. GM: You hit it, deal the damage. Luba: Oh! [Chuckle] 14. GM: 14? Guaxi: What?! Rakin: What?! Guaxi: Wow! A lightsaber? (Luba: Maximum.) GM: Joui, once again, you can
describe how you kill it. Guaxi: Bro! [Chuckle]. Calango: Mother of Christ, bro. Luba: Dude. Luba: I'll cut off it's head, for real. Guaxi: You're tired of thinking. (GM: Ok. You see...) GM: It's going to hit Beatrice, and you, from under, just [pshoo] smoothly cuts through its head that just falls [Splat] on it's side and the tattoos... You see that when you cut, inside it is shining a lot as well inside the head, the neck, its whole flesh is glowing. But it starts to lose that glow and [Pow] it falls hard on the ground, in front
of you, dead. Luba: While its head falls to the ground, and before its body falls, Joui points the sword to Henri... Luba: and looks. (GM: He's gone.) GM: You don't know where to, during the battle, he just vanished. he and the other Escribes Luba: Alright. (Rakin: OK...) Rakin: I see the fall, I run for this guy's bag. Guaxi: Smart guy. Rakin: I search for human ashes, Master. GM: You can loot him, please, roll a Finding Guaxi: I'm here looking… (J: Beatrice, are you okay?) Triz: She’s still lying on the floor. B: I think so. Rakin:
Regular success. Triz: She tries to get up. Luba: I help her. Rakin: Regular success. J: First day? GM: Dante, roll Luck, please. B: First day. (Guaxi: Oh yeah, it is first day.) Rakin: Today we're good, keep doing that. Geez, Regular success by one. GM: Okay, you find... Uh... Some copper wires, an old cell phone... GM: You got what? Regular? Rakin: Yes. (GM: OK.) GM: You don't find anything else. Rakin: No human ashes? GM: No more human ashes, no. He gave you all he had, probably. Rakin: Okay. But that thing was animal ashes, for real, what
he gave me. GM: It's ashes, you don't know which type. Rakin: Ah, fair. Guaxi: Anyone search this one? Guaxi: This guy that's cut in half? GM: You'll just find… Roll a Finding... Guaxi: Ah, no way! Guaxi: Let's go. Master, remember I got R$13... D: Beatrice, are you okay? B: are YOU okay? D: I am. Guaxi: Forget Finding. GM: You don't find anything. B: Me too. Guaxi: Fuck. J: Hey Dante, now I understand why the shotgun lady arrested you. Rakin: I'm quiet. (A: Guys...) A: Shouldn't we go to the second floor? He literally said where Liz
was. J: We should, Arthur. A: Do we go now? (B: Let's get closer.) J: Yeah. (A: Okay.) Luba: Ah, Joui ignores the bodies, he doesn't search for something. He's focused on finding Liz. GM: OK. (Luba: He’s visibly...) Luba: Visibly… (Guaxi: Focused.) Luba: Nervous, irritated. Luba: With all that's happening. It's too much. K: Hey, Dante? D: Hey? K: What you did was horrible. D: I know. K: If you're using it, make sure to use it for our side. D: I didn't want to use this again. A: Does mine do that too? J: Let's not wait to
see, Arthur. K: Where do we go up, Joui? Luba: Ah, Joui gets the map. GM: OK, let me pull the map. Map. Here. J: It seems to be in this room next to the question mark, that we have not entered yet. Rakin: While Joui speaks, I look at his cut. D: Joui, I can see the cut? J: Dante, did you get that... you didn't have to fight? I wanted to know where your loyalty was. J: Thanks. (D: I don't know them...) D: ...except Henri. Don't thank me for what I did, please. D: I Don't want
to do this again. J: if it weren't for you, we would be… who knows how it would end. Rakin: I stay quiet. Luba: I show him the cut. Rakin: I look at it, to see if I can do some type of suture, something like that. GM: Ah, he doesn't have a major wound, so you have to spend one hour with a roll of Medicine to cure 1d3. Rakin: OK. GM: You can lose the first aid advantage... to spend half hour curing 1d3 with a med kit. D: If you want in 30 minutes I can take
care of this wound. J: Let's do it after, after we find Miss Liz. Thank you. Listen, are you really OK? D: I am. J: You need to be fine, I promised to take you back to the cell. Triz: I… I am seeing all this situation, I'm going to give Dante a hug, and I'm... and I’m going to ask him, while I hug him, I don’t know if he’s huggin back. B: Why did you do this? Why pretend you didn't know me? D: [Sigh] Triz: Just to him, I'm speaking quietly. GM: They are listening, they are
close. D: I'll explain it later, really, now's not the right time. B: When will it be, Dante? (D: It's not…) B: I think if I know everything, I can help more. D: This is the problem… You don't... I'ts better you don't know everything. B: I don't see how this would be better. Triz: And, I let go of the hug. D: Do you really know why I didn't say anything to her? A: Mhm. (J: Yes.) Guaxi: I get closer to hear it. J: We need sincerity to trust you. D: Okay. Uh... As soon as she came
to talk to me, and I called her Lilian, and she didn't recognize it, I knew instantly that something had taken her memories, and... [Sigh] I researched a lot, a lot, a lot about the occultist, exactly how rituals work, how... How this Other Side works, and it seems that No matterf what you do with the creatures they don't die, you kill them, but they come back. And the more I studied, the more I understood that these creatures live, whether in people's memories or... if there's any type of memory of that creature existing, it can come back,
maybe more powerful. I don't know. And... I was afraid that if Lilian found out more about her past, she'd remember about something that would bring a creature like that. To me it was... I want to know what took her memories before saying anything. A: I don't get it. (J: Beatrice...) J: This was why your mom disappeared. B: I can't imagine any other reason, but do you know what happened to me during these years that I don't remember? D: I don't know, you were adopted just before the orphanage caught fire, I really don't know. It was
the last time I saw you. B: It was the last time you saw me? D: Yes, I… It was, it really was the last time I saw you, I don't need to lie about this. B: Okay. Thank you for telling me. J: Guys, it's time for us to go. A: It's true. J: There's one more room for… (K: Did you find out where we go up?) J: There's one more room for us to look for, but I suggest we do that on the way back. Let's try to find Miss Liz first. K: And the first
floor of the orphanage on the right side, we won't go there then. J: Let's just try to find Miss Liz, please. K: Yeah, let's go up there, first. Which way is it? (A: Where are we going?) Triz: Just check on the map where we're going. GM: Ah… where's the map? J: Ah, if we… (Guaxi: The map is out here, below.) GM: I'm going to pull out it again. J: …If we go up here where Kaiser and Arthur came from, we can turn right, and maybe the stairs will be there. B: Isn't that where there are
stairs drawn here? J: That's where there are some stairs drawn here, exactly. B: Okay, we were close to… the question mark so, okay, got it, nice. Let's go. K: So let's go to where you came from, right, Joui? B: Yeah. (J: Yes.) J: I'm not good with maps. (B: That's where we came from.) GM: Dante. Roll an Intelligence test after looking at the map again. Luba: Me? (Rakin: Vibes.) GM: …and Beatrice too, I'll allow it. Triz: OK, Intelligence? (Guaxi: And Arthur.) Rakin: Normal success. GM: Hold on. Triz: We already knew those were the bedrooms, right?
Total failure. GM: You can recognize it, and you even vaguely remember that the orphanage has an elevator. Rakin: And do I know exactly where it is in this map? GM: No, but you know there is one. D: Guys, I… I'm pretty sure the orphanage has an elevator. If it’s still operating, based on everything we saw, I think it's in this room next to the question mark on the right. J: I knew that! [whispers] Kaiser, I don't understand maps! K: Have we been to the question mark? B: No. (A: No.) A: We were going to go…
(J: Not yet.) A: But then we met with those guys. (B: Maybe…) B: Maybe we should… (J: Let's go there on our way out.) K: On the way out, yeah. (B: …Go to the elevator.) B: Or use the stairs, you know best. (A: We have to decide this quickly.) B: I don't… Rakin: I wanna roll Find in the room . (J: I don't… I prefer not to go to the dorm area for now.) GM: What room? Rakin: In the room that we're in, I wanna see if there's anything in the occultists that can… (GM: It's
not a room, it's an open area.) Rakin: Yes, in this open area. I wanna see, like, in the bodies of the occultists, in the area that they were if there's anything useful. GM: Ah, you already looted most of the bodies there. Rolling a general finding you see… …the Existeds, they're kind of near you but they aren't grabbing onto you, they're just near. There's nothing that's getting your attention, right away. Oh my God, someone… I'm gonna to have to delete this map, done. Ahn… but what you recognize, Dante, by grabbing the flashlight and looking around, you
see the old tree that when you were growing up here was very vibrant and beautiful, and you see on the corner what looks like a graveyard with a few dead flowers. Roll me a… Surviv… Roll me a… Find, that works. Rakin: Nice, man. A good success. GM: You can see that these graves aren't for adults, probably there are children buried there. Rakin: Can I associate this with the fire? GM: You made that association, I can't confirm nor deny it. Rakin: Fair enough. I go back. K: Let's go, guys, whatever it's in that room that has
the question mark it isn't more important than Elizabeth. Let's go upstairs. A: Let's go. (J: Let's go.) A: Have the gun ready, bro. I'll go last. GM: You move on… You get to the corridor, and it turns right and left. K: I think I'll go ahead. Calango: How far can I go? GM: Keep going. Luba: I'm going after Beatrice, Joui is a little hurt. GM: You pass by this door next to you, which is very resistant, and it's completely closed. Looks like it's… (Calango: Okay.) GM: It's one of the few doors that appears to be
fully intact in the orphanage. Ahead, you see a closed door, and that one is also a little strange, it's black and it looks like it has some details decorating it. Does anyone open this door? Guaxi: No, it's just that I clicked on it, and it started to go down on its own, I was afraid to open it. Calango: OK, I… (GM: Are you the last one going through, right, Arthur?) Guaxi: Yes. (GM: In the door…) Guaxi: There he goes! GM: Since that you left it open ajar… You can see, as you pass by it, that
yellow eye with two pupils, looking at you. You go over it with the flashlight, you see it, you come back, and it's not there anymore. And you continue. You arrive, and you find an elevator panel, and it's locked with a padlock. Calango: For fuck's sake! J: Kaiser, do your magic, go for it. (D: What happened?) D: Calm down, guys. I have a key. GM: A really big, strong, and sturdy padlock! D: Guys, I have a key with me. (K: Do you have the key?) D: Yes, I got a key earlier, it could work here. K:
Go ahead, then. Where did you even get that key? D: Earlier, a few… a few minutes ago. K: Where? Rakin: 7 days ago, player version. Calango: Huh? (Guaxi: But where?) Rakin: I don't know when it was, but I got it a week ago. (B: Inside a closet, inside a closet.) A: Ah, a closet, true. K: Oh okay, alright. If you already had that key before you came here, I'd find it weird. [laughter] K: Open it. (Rakin: I wanna come over here.) Rakin: I wanna try to use this key that I got. GM: The key to…
Clearly, the key to this elevator is much bigger than the one you have. K: Okay then, let's search. D: Didn't work, guys. A: What's going on there? D: It didn't work. K: The elevator is locked by a panel. If we were to kick it, I think… (A: A panel?!) K: Yeah, a panel to call the elevator, see? A: It's locked by a panel…? K: The panel is locked by a padlock. A: Got it. Shoot it! K: Wouldn't the person to have this key be the guy responsible for tidying it up, in this case, the janitor?
K: Maybe so, but… Arthur, if I were shoot it I'd probably shoot a wire, something that will make the elevator stop working. GM: True, Kaiser. J: Kaiser, don't you have a grenade? (Calango: I got sanity, let's go, thanks!) Luba: Joui asks. J: Don't you have a grenade, Kaiser? K: Joui, if a shot will damage the wires, a grenade will blow up the entire orphanage. B: Why don't we go up the stairs on the other side? We just need to turn around, just to turn around. (A: This is why Joui doesn't make plans.) K: I prefer
not using the stairs. Calango: I pass through everyone and open this door. J: Hey, Dante. (GM: You open the door…) GM: …And it's unlocked. (Rakin: Jeez.) D: Yes? GM: You can open it. Luba: Joui is very hurt, he's kind of limping, and he asks… (GM: Hold on, hold on.) Luba: …asks for Dante's help, here on the couch, to take care of the wound. GM: You open the door and see… (J: You said you could help, right?) GM: …clearly, what appears to be a library. (D: I can try.) GM: And inside of it there seems to
be some heavy fog. Calango: Oh no… Rakin: I'm looking at Dante's wound in the meantime. Not Dante's, Joui's, sorry. K: Guys, there's… there's fog here, you know that fog is not a good sign. GM: You're looking at who's injuries, Dante? Sory. Rakin: Joui asked me to check his wound, I'm looking. (GM: Okay.) GM: You look, and he has a very deep wound there… Which hit did you get 5 damage, Joui? Luba: 3. GM: 3? What was the biggest damage you took? At once? (Luba: I have 5 HP.) Luba: I think it was that one. GM:
3? Okay, you have a cut, you're seeing a 3 damage cut on him. Rakin: Well, since he asked for help, I'll get the med kit, and I'll start working on it. GM: Okay. Rakin: Cutting the gauze like this! (Calango: Hey…) GM: Roll me a Medicine test then, please. You want it within half an hour, right? Rakin: It’s gonna take half an hour. GM: OK, so… there is no test, then… there is no advantage, just roll the test. Rakin: Normal. GM: Okay, you do it, you'll be able to cure 1d3 when the process is over. Calango:
Nice. GM: You then see this library… what appears to be a library, you see a bookcase in front of you, some books lying around, it's a bit messy and a little dusty. Rakin: Damn, I'm gonna go to the bathroom in the meantime, since I'm busy… GM: Wait, wait, we're going to the break in a bit, hold on for a little. A: Let's go, Kaiser. K: Are you prepared then? A: Let's go. (B: Yes.) Guaxi: [snif] What's the smell of the library? GM: Ah… it smells like books. Old books and the smell of dust, a lot
of dust. Calango: OK, I'm going in. GM: You go into the library, and you see nothing, it seems to be very empty and your flashlight illuminates, so you see all… …the little flakes of dust in the air. And it's completely empty, it's even a little scary how empty it is, and it seems to echo your steps when you get in. Calango: Can I try to hear to something? GM: For the get-go… I want you to roll Find and Listen. Calango: Find and Listen? (GM: Yeah.) Calango: Go little die, please little die… Aw man. GM: Okay.
Calango: The Listen now. (GM: Okay.) Calango: Bro, I don't wanna play anymore. GM: How much was it? Calango: 3 and 4. (GM: Okay…) GM: You don't… you hear only the echo of your steps, and of your friends' steps, your breathing. The environment is a bit cold. And that's it. You move forward, and when you pass by the side, Arthur, roll a Finding, please. Guaxi: He just wants to humiliate us, right? (Calango: Please! Please, man!) Guaxi: He just wants to humiliate us, Kaiser. (Calango: I need...) I need to wear glasses, man! Guaxi: Oh, man! 3! GM:
You walk by it and follow along. Guaxi: Fuck. Do I have to roll a Listen as well? No, right? (GM: No, no.) Triz: And I'm behind, I'm right behind, I'm here. GM: Okay, you're moving on. Can you roll a Finding, please? (Calango: Go, Beatrice, please!) Triz: Come on, come on! (Calango: It's in your hands!) The key is in your hands! (Triz: Er… Finding...) I got a 6. GM: Once again, you walk by it and you see nothing. Calango: Unfortunately, the clue you set for us, Cellbit, will not be found. (GM: No, there's no clue…) ...you
are entering the library. In the meantime, Dante and Joui stay out here? GM: OK. (Calango: They do.) Rakin: It's the only way, we're playing our role. (GM: You don't find…) You look around the entire library, and you see nothing. But, Arthur… Guaxi: Oh no. GM: When you look at this bookshelf, the one you're pointing at, you see that there is a sheet of paper glued to it. On it. A strip of paper. And it has a word written on it. Guaxi: Can I see from here? GM: You can, it's in large writing. The strip of
paper taped to the bookshelf says: "mirror". A: Hey, Kaiser. Look at this. (K: Huh?) A: They taped "mirror" to the bookshelf. Calango: I look at the books above or below it to see if there one of them has "mirror" in the title, I don't know. GM: Wait a minute, let me see. It's hanging by a single tape, you see it kind of [paper rustling] with the wind. (Calango: In the middle of the bookshelf, right?) GM: Beside this bookcase, like... (Calango: With many books above and below it.) GM: Here, where Kaiser is pointing now, (Calango: Okay.)
GM: On it's edge. (Calango: Okay, okay.) GM: It's pretty white. Let me get it here... Quick… OK. You... you see that this bookcase, it has many history books. GM: You can't find any with the name "mirror". (K: I wonder, what does that mean?) GM: But you do see the wind... when you walk, you push the wind a little bit, you see the paper kinda [paper rustling]. Flying a little bit with the tape it's taped onto. A: I don't know what it means. Guaxi: There's nothing else, right? It's just "mirror". GM: You don't know. "Mirror" is
written on one side. Guaxi: Oh… alright. Calango: Am I more… Okay, go. Guaxi: I'll look around the room for now. (Calango: I'm not gonna do this because…) GM: You look around, (Guaxi: Yeah, I'll look here.) GM: ...and you only see many books from different genres: math, romance, fiction. There are many bookcases. Triz: I'm gonna- -that is hanging over there too, I'll look at it. (GM: Wait, what?) Triz: I'm going to take a look at the tape... ...that is hanging there, too. (GM: It's a tape.) Triz: Yeah, alright. And is there anything on the other side?
Written? GM: Do you take it in your hand? Triz: I do. GM: Okay, you take it in your hand, and, I'm gonna let you turn it over. Just press "F" on top of the note. GM: The door closes. (B: Er… guys, there's something-) B: Something… ah… (GM: Wait...) GM: [Door closing] GM: Beatrice... (Rakin: Was it loud?) Triz: Me. GM: You enter the library, and, strangely, you're already here. And this is where we go to the break, (Calango: Dude...) and we’ll be back in 5 minutes with Paranormal Order: Decojuration! (Rakin: I have to pee!) Luba: Me
too. GM: Let's go, 5 minutes, and we'll be right back, a quick break! Let's go. (Guaxi: Bye!) [BREAK] GM: We’re back, we’re back, hey! Alright. Guaxi: [Laughs] Calango: And Luba is pooping! (GM: And Luba- Thanks to everyone who is watching-) Watching the episode live right now. (Luba: My bad, my bad) GM: Relax, everything's fine. Guaxi:[Laughs} Let me pull things back here. [laughs] Luba: I wasn’t pooping. Rakin: You poopy butt. Guaxi: Oh, man. GM: Before we went on the break, you guys went into a library, a mysterious one. Joui and Dante... stayed healing themselves. Dante was
treating Joui’s injuries outside, and the door resoundingly shut, right after Beatrice found a paper with the word “mirror”, and looking at its other side to find a symbol, a strange one. But the door... only closed... after Beatrice had went inside the library and faced herself, holding a paper in her hands. Beatrice, you don't know which one is the real one. You're gonna interpret both. Triz: Two, mate? Guaxi: Thank God you were the one to get the paper. Luba: Master, did we hear it from outside? The noise? GM: Oh, you heard a noise [door slamming shut],
the door closed. Calango: I see both of them, right? GM: Yes. Triz: So, the Beatrice who came in instantly aims the crossbow at the other one. GM: OK. K: Hey, hey, hey, hey. What’s going on… what did you do? (B1: Wait, wait, I can explain.) Look, on this shelf, there’s a paper with the word “mirror”. If you look at the back, there’s a ritual symbol. At that moment, the door slammed shut, and I just showed up here, with… with myself and… what the fuck is this, man? Don’t shoot, don’t shoot! K: Okay, I won’t shoot,
but it's obvious that (GM: Orpheu-) the one closer to the door is the fake. GM: Orpheu... can you add him here Triz? Where is he? I’ll add him. Triz: I lost him a while ago. GM: Okay, no, he was with you and when you go in, the second you… Let me get him here. He simply flies to the top of a bookcase, and stays on top of it. B1: Calm down, Kaiser, calm down. Yeah, yeah, it’s obvious that it’s the one closer to the door, what happened? You can shoot her, you can shoot her and
not… not me. K: Huh?! B1: Wait, I don’t understand what’s going on here, let’s not shoot anyone. It seems like… like there’s a… wait. Triz: I’ll go up to myself and try to touch myself. (K: What happened?!) GM: Ok, which one? You can move around there. Triz: This one. (K: Fuck my life.) GM: You go close to yourself, and you can touch yourself. She’s real. Triz: Alright. K: How did this happen? Hello? B1 and B2: I don’t think that’s a problem. B1 and B2: I don’t think that’s a problem, Kaiser. (GM: Both Beatrices touch like
this.) B1 and B2: I don’t think that’s a problem. K: How’s it now an issue? (Triz: They’re both saying that, okay?) A: Where’s the paper? GM: It’s on her hand, of Beatrice 1’s still. B1: There, there's the paper, actually I might be… (K: Was the paper that did this?) B1: Yes, it was the paper. Triz: I’ll hand the sheet to Kaiser. A: Tear that shit, Kaiser. GM: Do you take it? Calango: I take it. GM: You pick it up and see that ritual. Calango: Is there another me? GM: Not that you know of. Calango: I
tear it apart. GM: You tear the paper, and it’s just a paper. (Calango: In many pieces.) GM: It is like a normal paper, you rip it, and it doesn’t seem to have anything special about it. Calango: So this paper doesn’t exist anymore. I ripped it apart completely. A: Is the door locked? B2: Someone shut it, the minute I picked up the paper… (K: Excuse me.) Triz: Beatrice of two seconds ago is talking. B1: The moment I held the paper, the door shut right after you guys came in. he first time I went through, it hadn’t
close, I think there’s something yet to happen. GM: The first time, what do you mean? Each one only went through once. GM: The second Bea doesn’t have the memories of the first. (Triz: I know, the first time the first one went through...) Triz: Exactly, the one who has the first Bea’s memories is talking (GM: That's it.) B1: After you went through, the door shut, but the first time I went through with the two of you, it didn’t. So there’s something different happening. B1: Maybe something’s going to happen now. ???: [giggling] Triz: And Beatrice 2 will
roll a Find check. GM: You hear, coming from somewhere in the library, echoing, a high-pitched giggle. A: Who’s laughing?! ???: [giggles] Triz: Yo, Beatrice 2 got a Good success. GM: What, what are you, trying to find? Triz: Find at that moment, the moment she said that something different could happen, Beatrice 2 rolled Find GM: Ok, Finding, but what are you looking for? You just looked around,... GM: ...and saw a few shelves. (Triz: Yes, is there anything else around me?) M: You didn’t see anything, there’s a mist in the air GM: ... and you hear that
laugh echoing inside the room. (Triz: OK.) K: Who the fuck is there?! ???: [giggles] A: I’m searching around and entering here the… (???: Oops) [giggles] B1: Oops? K: Everyone starts looking… (A: Where?) GM: You walk around the library,... (A: Hello?) GM: ... you don’t see anything. GM: There isn’t anyone else but you. (Calango: I go here towards the door...) Calango: I go towards the door and start hitting it [TU TU TU] K: Dante! Dante! Hey?! B1: Try to open it up, Kaiser. (GM: Joui and Dante,...) GM: ...you can’t hear any of that, you only heard
the door shutting. Calango: Fucking hell! D: You think they’re alright, Joui? J: I don’t know, that was kind of loud, do you want to go take a look? D: Hm, okay, I’ll check on the door real quick. Luba: I go with him. GM: You guys go, and you find a completely shut door. Luba: Can’t we open it? GM: Did you try? Luba: I try opening it. GM: [Click] Locked. Calango: I’m still hitting it. K: Hello?! GM: And nothing is heard by them. Luba: I’m going to kick it. GM: Roll a Strength test. Calango: It’s going
to hurt, bro. Luba: Good. GM: [PUM] You see from the inside the door being hit [PUM]. You can’t open it, the door is quite resistant, like I mentioned earlier. Calango: Us from the inside didn’t hear it then GM: You heard a blow from the outside, yes. And you can hear them speaking. [Quietly] “Do you think there’s something going on?” “Oh, I don’t know”. K: Guys, hello!? Can’t you hear me?! Calango: And I’m still hitting the door. J: Can you hear anything, Dante? D: No, I don’t hear anything. Triz: Beatrice 1… (Calango: I can hear them
saying that, right?) GM: You hear them talking, yes. Calango: That they don’t hear anything. (Triz: Beatrice 1 will ask Beatrice 2.) B1: What are your last memories? Calango: Which is 1 and which is 2? Triz: This is Bea 1. GM: I’ll set up a different color for each one just so we can have... so we can do this, hold up. Ok, I'll make Beatrice 2 slightly redder, is that ok? Like that. Calango: Just because she’s a fraud? GM: I’ll remove the color then, done. Calango: I’m joking, I’m joking. (GM: No, now you just lost the
color. ) GM: Actually, I’ll leave it. Just so you can tell them apart. Calango: Okay, okay Triz: And Beatrice 2 will reply. B2: My last memories are… (GM: That’s the second one to enter) Triz: Yes. Just to be sure, she has the same memories as the first one, right? GM: Exactly the same. You guys got inside the library, GM: ...you went in, you were there. (Triz: Okay, there’s a 2-second delay, okay.) B2: Uhh, coming into this library and before that, Dante had just told me that he actually already knew me, and that our name is
Lilian. Triz: And me: B1: Fine, I think we can trust her. Triz: And then Beatrice 2: B2: But I don’t know if I can trust you. Triz: Beatrice 1 will respond: B1: Listen, what happened to us is the same, I don’t know Dante’s name either, but I know that our memories before we lost our memory are being with Orpheu, inside a room with this necklace. We also saw our mother today. Calango: I’ll stand back. Triz: Then her: B2: Okay, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. (A: I don’t understand what’s going on, Kaiser) B1:
At least now we have thirty-two arrows, that’s a good thing. K: Look, you are talking and talking, but K: ...will this get us somewhere? (GM: Now there’s a yellow Beatrice and a red one.) D: Joui? (Triz: Alright.) GM: Now, there’s no way of telling which one is which. J: What? K: We have to figure out... (GM: They’re both fake or real) K: We have to figure out how we’re going to handle this. (D: Do you want to try finding something to break the wall? GM: You still hear that giggling. ???: [giggles] Oops, looks like... (A:
You’re calling me, but you won’t show up.) ???: there’s someone here a little divided? [giggles] ???: Maybe you guys need a hand. A: Are you saying this, Kaiser? K: No. GM: You hear that echoing from somewhere in the library. (B1: Where’s that coming from?) Triz: Can I roll a Listen check? (K: What hand?) GM: You can. (K: What hand?) Triz: So I know where it’s coming from. Triz e Calango: Can I roll a Listen test? GM: Yes, roll Listen, you can do it. Calango: Oh, so I’ll try I didn’t think we could figure out where
it’s coming from. GM: No, you didn’t attempt to [laughs] ou guys have to test your Listen. Triz: Alright, one got good success, I'll roll for the other one. (Calango: I thought we couldn’t, some paranormal shit) GM: You can always try, (Calango: I want to try as well.) GM: ...it’s the one RPG rule. Triz: OK, one Beatrice got regular success and the other failed. Calango: Got regular as well. (GM: You guys can’t recognize where it’s coming from.) Calango: Shit. Ah… (???: Words.) ???: Words hold the absolute power, don’t they? It’s always the words. K: Mirror. K:
Ok then, it didn't work. Calango: What is that, in front of me? GM: Oh, they’re books, a bunch of books. (Calango: Is it a shelf?) GM: These books are novels. GM: They’re fictional novels. Calango: Is there “Between The Horse and The Wolf” here? GM: No, ‘cause it’s not a novel. Calango: Ok, none of the books have “mirror” in its title? GM: And “Between The Horse and The Wolf” is a horror book. Oh, no, you don’t find anything about “mirror”. (K: Guys, let's…) ???: Hm, I wanted... (B1: There’s got to be another way out.) ???: I
wanted to welcome you all ???: ... to my classroom. [giggles] If you participate in my class and be good students, I’ll help out your indecisive friend there. B2: Fine, looks like everyone around here likes to play dumb games. K: What kind of class? (Triz: Beatrice 2 said that.) ???: Hm, today’s lesson is about The Other side [giggles]. The knowledge about The Other side can be split in five main elements [giggles] As a good teacher, I’ll give you a puzzle, and you have to find the answer for each one of the elements. Calango: Holy fuck. GM:
All of a sudden, Arthur, you hear whispering to your side. ???: [whispering] The first one is hiding inside all of you . [giggles] GM: You heard it right beside your ear. Guaxi: No one else heard? Oh, no… A: Did you hear that?! K: What? He’s talking. (B1: No. What?) A: He said the first one is hiding inside all of us. K: Did he say that? A: He did. B1: The first is hiding inside us? Is it… Is… A: Is it blood? (K: Oh, I don’t want to know where this is going!) Calango: I go around
trying to find something man, I’ll walk a bit, Calango: ...staring at the ceiling to see if there’s a mirror in the wall. (B1: Wait, wait.) B1: I remember hearing those versicles that we found on the Bible. The first sentence was “Behold, I stand at the door and knock”… ???: [TSC TSC] Nope. Wrong subject. Pay attention to my class now [giggles]. B1: Within all of us. (K: Class is my ass!) Calango: And I will go looking. (Triz: The Beatrice 2...) Triz: Beatrice 2 will now speak. (B2: Is it sin?) ???: You are in... ...a forest of
knowledge. Find and show me what I'm asking for. B2: Okay, got it. Triz: We have to roll... can we roll a Find? Calango: I'm looking for... GM: What are you looking for? Triz: We are looking for... okay. Calango: Man, I'm... I'm looking for a mirror on the walls that has a slot for a mirror. (GM: You can't find a mirror anywhere.) GM: Your flashlight would be reflecting, you don't see any kind of mirror. Calango: So I want to walk by the books to see if any of them catches my attention or if any has “Mirror”
in the title. GM: They are all normal books, you can roll a Find. Calango: I want to look for the word soul too, if I can. GM: Okay. Calango: "Find"? A: Guys, it's not... it's an element... 5 elements, right? He said the first could be blood... (Calango: Extreme, shit!) GM: You can't find anything that catches your eye, no book seems to be special. It seems to be a normal library: old, a little dirty, abandoned, but normal. Calango: When I roll extreme, I don't find anything, bro. Triz: Er... I'm going to try to find some differences
between the two Beatrice. GM: No, there aren't any, they are exactly the same. Triz: Exactly the same, nothing. Damn! Uh... K: Okay, there is no way out, we are going to have to play the... psychopath's game there. A: Hey, Beatrice! B1: Hi. (B2: Hi.) A: Is Orpheu okay? B1: I don't know, he... (GM: He's confused...) GM: … you see him looking at the two, like that. B1: He's there, he seems to be fine, he's not acting anxious or anything... maybe he's a little confused, but... he's fine. (K: Okay.) A: Okay, the elements now. Focus. K:
Maybe I... maybe I know. Calango: I get my CS knife. I gently cut my finger and say: K: Is it blood? ???: [tsc tsc tsc] Hasty, hasty students. K: Shit. ???: The first element... I want a representation of it... here! Show me! Calango: Fuck, how is it not blood, man?! I cut my finger with blood, there is blood. K: Fuck! Does anyone have any ideas? B1: I don't know, the first of the elements is Earth? (???: I'm hiding...) ???: inside all of you. A: Water, blood... anything! (???: I want to see...) ???: … not listen!
[laughs] A: Okay, we’re thinking boy... teacher... Calango: I... bro, I lift my finger like that, with my blood on it. K: Isn't this what you want? I've seen a lot of people use it for rituals. ???: This subject is for our next trimester. B1: Uh... K: Ah man... (A: Okay, uh...) ???: There are 5 elements! Guaxi: Yeah... I... Arthur, he spits on the floor. A: Is that it? No? (GM: No answer.) K: Wait, it's... it's not an organ, is it? (GM: You see...) GM: You hear a noise. [tum] Right beside you. You see that some
books have fallen to the floor. Calango: I'll see which books have fallen. GM: It was on the bottom shelf, behind Arthur. Guaxi: Okay, so I'll turn. GM: They are religious books. B1: Er... 5 elements. K: Man, I have no idea. A: Is it faith, bro? Faith, I don't know. But how are we going to show him that? Gm: [tum] More books fall behind you. On the shelf of historical content. There's a history book lying on the floor now. Calango: I... I want to take a look at the titles of the books that fell here... GM:
They don't look special. Calango: Now I will go see the history books, then. Gm: There doesn't seem to be anything special either. ???: Hmm! Calango: Is it death? GM: He starts to pull. [tum] (B1: Could it be...) GM: You see a book falling off a shelf a few seconds later, and then another book falling off another shelf. Several books fall from several shelves, books that appear to be completely random. [tec tec tec] GM: Someone is typing a lot. Triz: It's me. B1: Er... it could be... (K: Is it knowledge?) B1: Knowledge?! thought of that too.
???: Show me! Hmmhm, hm! B1: Knowledge. ???: No! Hmmm! GM: He drops a few more books. Calango: Damn it, bro, it is so hard to be stupid, bro. ???: The first element... I am hidden inside all of you! [giggles] A: Holy Mary! K: Man, isn't it... isn't it blood? (B1: We have a soul, we have a subconscious...) B1:…we have a spirit... K: It is not blood, it is not a soul, it is not an organ. A: He's dropping the books, there must be a reason. B1: We are afraid, we have sin, we have... A: But
we have to demonstrate, (K: Is it writing?) how are we going to demonstrate something? A: Knowledge... teach him something there, Kaiser! K: Teach what? A: I don't know, hey! You are the smart one here. K: I am not smart. If I were, we would be out of here already. Beatrice! B1: Let's think... (B2: Let's think...) B1: Hi! (B2: Hi.) K: You two! Look at the pockets, there. B1: The pockets? K: Yeah, both of you. Triz: Looking at the pockets. GM: You see... [pu! pa!] on the other side of the library. B1: Come on... K: It
might be a falling book, but let's go see. B1: Let's see. GM: You run to the other side of the library, and you see a pile of books and a paper taped on top. Something has been written. (Triz: And what's on the paper?) GM: It says "book". B1: Book... Is there anything on the other side of the paper? GM: Nothing. Calango: We must be really stupid, right, bro... It's complicated. I want to apologize to everyone who's watching... [laughter] Triz: Man, it can be absolutely anything, what are the 5 elements, you know? (Guaxi: Man, it's very
open, bro!) Triz: Rakin knows something that we don't know. Guaxi: Rakin is being a idiot there. Triz: Uh... alright. B1: Books. History... past? A: Yeah, it's a story, right? B1: Past... Remembrances, memories... ???: Show me! Calango: Man, I'm going to get a book, and I'm going to open it for him. ???: Okay, first student! Now you are on the right path. (Calango: Holy shit!) ???: Show me! (Triz: What ?!) Guaxi: Show him where? That's where it is. (???: I'm hiding) ???: inside all of you! A: A book? Calango: Calm down, I... B1: Come on... does
anyone have a... a pen? I don't know, a thing? A: I... I don't think I have. Ah, César... Kaiser already cut his finger there, he can write with blood. K: Write what? A: I don't know, she asked for a pen. B1: What was that book about, Kaiser? K: I got a random one. GM: Where did you get it from? Yeah... you got a religion book that was... (Calango: It can be.) GM: This bookshelf here is a religion one. Calango: I'm losing my temper, man. B1: We're going to the right way, we have to show it.
Triz: Shit, I have no idea what's going on. (K: It's inside us, we must... we have it) K: Do we have to cut ourselves to show what's inside us? ???: [laughter] Triz: Uh... Calango: I'm going to get my little finger cut a little more and put blood on the book, and I'm going to show him. Man, I don't know, I'm trying everything at this height, dude. ???: Too early. Wrong subject. I'm hiding inside all of you. B1: Kaiser, maybe it's a secret, past... could you try to show pictures? Calango: I'll show my photos, bro. I'll
try it, let's go. GM: You pull up the pictures with the faces, nothing happens. ???: Show me what's hidden inside all of you! (Triz: I'll try...) ???: ...Hm, hmm! Calango: Even the bad guy is losing his temper! Guaxi: Even the bad guy, man! Triz: I will try to read a part of the book. GM: What book? Triz: Uh... I'm going to get a book, uh... GM: Which of the Beatrices? Triz: Beatrice 1 is going to get a book of... religion. GM: What are you going to get from the book? (Triz: Uh...) Triz: What I will
look for in the book, I will look for... I will look for... a part talking about sins and secrets and insecurities. GM: Um, you can roll Library Use to see if you find it. Calango: Dude, I think it's easier than that. I just can't understand it. (Guaxi: I don't either) K: It's carbon! Triz: Library Use, come on, get a good roll! I got a Good, but I got... (GM: You find a chapter...) GM: ...about sins. You hold it, flip through it, nothing happens. GM: [PU!] The book falls to the floor. ???: Wrong answer. [Laugh] B1:
Arthur! A secret! Tell a secret! One that no one knows (K: I don't think that's a secret...) K: ...I think it's something with the books, but it's also inside of us, something material. And we have to show him, there's no way to show a secret. It is an element that has the Other Side as well. You have already gone the Other side, you two! What did you see there? A: Okay, but it has nothing to do with it. K: Do you remember anything? I don't know because I don't... I'm... (A: Is it fear?) K: I'm
losing my temper here, I don't like staying here. (A: The fear... I don't know... I'm thinking about...) A: Uh... ok, I'm going to tell you a secret then, but I don't think so. I sometimes use Kaiser's toothbrush. That's it? ???: [laughter] A: Nothing, right? I told it for nothing, Beatrice. B1: Yeah... it's worth a try, right? Uh... Guaxi: For the love of God, Lord! Give us a helpful hint! You see that we are lost here! I just want to get off this room! Calango: Man, you know what!? I'm not saying it as Kaiser, okay? I
think it's very obvious, and we have everything we need, but... it's very broad, bro, it's disturbing, it's attacking my anxiety, bro! Guaxi: So, mine too, mine too! Mine is attacking too. Damn it... GM: That's good. You're supposed to get anxious at this part. Guaxi: Oh, fine. A: Er... K: What inside us? Let's think: It has blood, it has an organ, it has a soul... B1: It has, it has body, it has spirit, it has... ???: The answer is not the element, (B1:...conscience.) but a representation of it. ???: I'm teaching the elements. [Laugh] B1: The elements.
Are they the 5 basic elements and are we getting a little off? ???: I'm teaching the elements... (B1: Okay.) [laugh] Guaxi: [blow] I blow the book, like this. Guaxi: No? Damn. Nothing I think works out. B1: What can we think? If we were to think about the obvious, the 5 elements, what do we have? The first is land, then we have... uh... A: But that's probably not the case. (B1: ...a cycle.) B1: I also don't understand, we're just trying things. ???: The class is about the elements of the Other Side. B1: Elements from the Other
Side, okay. Guaxi: Jesus, we will be stuck here forever, then. Triz: I will... damn, what do we have to show... A: [sigh] Could it be the symbols, something to do with a ritual? Guaxi: I take my medallion like this, and show it. Nothing, right? GM: Nothing happens. K: Dude, how is it not blood, man? It's inside us. Guaxi: How agonizing, man! Triz: Yeah, we'll be stuck here for the rest of the adventure, thinking. Guaxi: I just wanted to find that aged. Calango: Liz is will die for our stupidity, bro. Dude, that’s not possible, man. I'm
going to come here in the history section… some... Guaxi: I'm gonna run and start to hitting the door. GM: The history shelf is the one behind you, on the left is… this one is the math one, this one is the romance, this is fiction, and down here is religion. Calango: Where's the history one? Oh, is it here? (GM: This is the history one, yeah.) Calango: And the books that are on the floor? GM: They are irrelevant. A: Let me out! Guaxi: I start hitting the door. A: [TUM TUM TUM] Ah! A: [TUM TUM TUM] Joui!
(Triz: Okay, so we have history, we have religion...) we have romance… (GM: You are in a library...) GM: You have several other shelves on various other topics, you have philosophy, biology, children’s, arts, geography, cuisine, and self-help. Besides maths, romance, history, fiction and religion. K: Is it sanity? Maybe it isn't. B1: What are you good at? Are you guys good at anything we can show? K: CS Go. GM: There are two Beatrices, don't forget that. (B1: We can’t show that…) Rakin: Hey, in the meantime, was there time for me and Joui to grab the sledgehammer? GM:
[laughter] What sledgehammer? GM: Oh, no, okay. You are healing, I presume... What you are doing... Actually, they haven't been there that long... They've been there for about five minutes. Luba: [Laughing] How not? Rakin and Guaxi: [laughing] Calango: Bro, It's stressing me out because it feels like we're the only ones here who still don't know. I'm looking at everyone's faces and you're like: Rakin: And the longer it goes... Guaxi: Yeah. [laughs] Luba: I'm actually laughing at the embarrassment, I'm glad I'm not there. Rakin: It's great, man. (Guaxi: Damn, I’m so embarrassed... ) Guaxi: ...I should have
stayed outside. Rakin: Liz is listening to the funeral meme. Guaxi: Okay, huh. B1: What everyone has inside... Ego. A: We need to show it, we need to demonstrate it.. saying it will not change anything. (K: It has to be something tangible, man.) A: Or not. (K: Someone has to...) Calango: I look up. K: Does anyone have to die for us to show you? GM: He doesn't answer. B1: Hm. A: Does everything that happens to one Beatrice also happens to the other? Guaxi: I'm talking to them, okay, in the chat. Not in the chat, in the
game. [laughter] ???: Show me what is hidden inside you and I teach you the first element. What is hidden inside all of you. Calango: This is the first element, there are still four more to go after this one. Guaxi: [laugh] A: Ahn. Huh? Hello? B1: Hi. A: Yeah... You didn't answer my question, what happens to you happens to the other one too, or...? B1: I don't know, we can try. A: Try something just to be sure. (B1: You...) Triz: I'm going to... okay, Beatrice 1 is going to take a big bite of her hand. GM:
Ahn, strong enough to bleed? Triz: To start bleeding. Calango: Crazy... Guaxi: Damn, a hell of a bite. GM: You lose 1 HP then. Triz: Damn, all that time and I haven't healed from that punch yet? GM: You don't heal HP out of the blue. Triz: Okay. Changed here, I lost 1 HP. GM: Okay, the other one doesn't feel anything. B2: Okay, it seems not. (GM: Which one did you bite?) Triz: Number 1. GM: Okay. B1: Uh, something inside us, I don't know if that will be worth anything, but maybe he wants to know a little
about us. K: I don't think that's it. I showed him the book, and he said we were on the right track. It's something tangible; I dont think it’s any information. He doesn't want to know anything about us, or any secret. He wants to see something that is here, that is on the Other side too, that has something to do with the books and is also hidden inside of us... B1: Our story? Triz: Uh, Beatrice 2 is going to start to talk. Beatrice 2 will say: B2: Well, since I was a child, i am an orphan.
I was brought as a newborn at this orphanage that we're in now, my whole childhood was a difficult time. (??? : [chuckles]) ???: [chuckles] B2: And I lived a long time with Dante, I recently discovered my name. (???: [chuckles]) K: Fuck! Calango: I pick up a book, I rip the pages, I throw it far. K: Isn't that what you want?! Get the book! ???: Show me what is hidden inside all of you, and I’ll teach you the first element. Triz: What's hidden... (K: My goodness, man.) Guaxi: For God’s sake, man. B2: Kaiser, do you have
something you feel like doing, but you know it's wrong? K: Kill this guy who's talking to me. (Triz: Beatrice 2 asked this.) B2: Just this guy? Or do you feel an desire for some kind of justice? K: No. B2: No. K: I don't think that is it, either. B2: Then take a guess. K: I’m trying. What do you normally have in a library that's also within us? We have to show it, after all, like a book. I showed the book, we have to show something that we also have. (A: But we can show anything,...) we
can show fear, we can show him anything. This question is very open, dude. Guaxi: Faith. Calango: And this is it. Guaxi: [laughter] Calango: It is so agonizing to know that we already have all the clues to solve this and none of us are getting it, it’s very agonizing for me. A: Don't you think it has something to do with one of the two Beas? B1: I think so. Triz: Bea 1 said that. B1: I think so. I think the answer may lie in that, actually. K: But we don't even know how it works, and if
we don't find out which Beatrice is fake, and we end up hurting the real one too. B1: No, I am the real one. Triz: And Beatrice 2 will say: B2: No, I'm also the real one, I also know everything you know. K: Do you see? A: I don't even remember who came in the door. B2: It was me. Triz: Beatrice 1 says: B1: I was the first to enter, the two of us entered. ???: The indecisive friend's answer will be given after class [chuckles] GM: You hear it echoing through the library. Calango: I'm going to
take a walk, okay? I will look at all of the shelves. (GM: OK.) Calango: It’s impossible that none will give me an idea. (GM: You go by a stack...) of books written “book”, you pass by this bookshelf here is for cooking and self-help... Are you walking around the library? Calango: Yes, but I want to look around to see if there's any words that give me a- GM: You went through the word "book". Calango: Oh man, book. GM: You walk around, there is a shelf with art books, the shelf right ahead here, it has children's book.
You turn right and the bookshelf right there next to the children's, has books on biology, science. Calango: Is there a hole here, or is it just empty? Here in the children's. (GM: This is a hole with a lack of books,...) ...but it's only aesthetically. The entire library has several books that fell down and everything. There's a shelf with geography books, another one with philosophy books. B1: Shall we look at a biology book? Triz: Trying to roll Find at ... B2: No, you're wrong, like- K: What's in books and in us is also knowledge. Intelligence, yeah.
(???: Show me...) what has been hiding inside each one of you. In all of you. K: Dude, if he says that again, I think I'm going crazy, man. (???: [chuckles]) A: Me too, it's like every time he speaks, the feeling grows, B1: Do you have any trauma? Guaxi: I put my hand on my face, on the scar. B1: What was that? A: It was an incident. B1: And what is an incident? A: Uh, some things happened that day, I don't like to remember that much. Do you have any trauma? B1: I have, but it is
nothing significant. Maybe... it has to do with something bigger. Guaxi: Oh my, I don’t know what to do, I will come here too. A: Orpheu! (Calango: Couldn't Joui and Dante...) break the door? [laughs] Guaxi: Right? [laughing] Triz: Does anyone have Uno? Rakin: Did you find the sledgehammer there, Joui? B1: When you asked, Kaiser, about someone having to die, he was silent. ???: [chuckles] K: It's not like he's talking too much. A: We have a soul. (Luba: Master, Joui still kinky) Kinky, oops! [Laughs] GM: OK then, continuing. [Laughs] Rakin: Calm down, bro. Block the fan art
hashtag for a day, please. Luba: Kicking the door! GM: The door is very sturdy, so you won't be able to… There's something strange... Luba: I won't be able to open this door. GM: There's something paranormal, I will... Roll another Strength check. Luba: Okay. [Laughs] [Laughter] Guaxi: Luba gave all the aces now. (Luba: I got Good.) Rakin: What ritual is that, bro? [Laughter] Luba: 14, Good. GM: You keep kicking, but it’s... it’s very resistant, but you hear a [CLICK]. The door cracks a little. Calango: Master will have to ask for help, bro. A: Does it want
to, the voice wants us to kill the other Bea who came in? K: I think if we have to do it, it will be later, (???: [chuckle]) K: He said that the indecisive friend's answer will come later. B1: After what? K: After we find the book. Calango: I take another book and show it again. Here, sir. ???: Hm, show me what is hidden inside all of you. Show me. [chuckles] What is hidden within you? You’re on the right track, student. A: Kaiser, if you run blood through the book, does something change? I don't think so.
I showed blood anyway. (B1: Not yet, we already tried.) Guaxi: Where's biology books? I'm going to take the biology book, open it, I don't care, man. I'm desperate. (Calango: That’s it, shit!...) Let's grab a biology one. It must have a heart, bro. GM: This is not, this shelf is the history one. Calango: Which one is biology, come on. GM: Search for it. Guaxi: This one, dear Master? (Calango: What?) GM: Um, this is, which one are you pointing to, sorry? Guaxi: Here. GM: This is about philosophy. This is geography. Guaxi: This one. Calango: Is the first
one? (GM: The left one is child’s,-) - the one on the right is biology. Guaxi: Ha ha! Calango: The one I’m at? GM: No, where Arthur is. You are on the fiction one. (Guaxi: OK, I'm going to search here.) Guaxi: Any biology book. (Calango: Go ahead) GM: You pull out a biology book- Calango: If this isn't the answer, I quit. GM: A sixth grade book with biology assignments. Guaxi: Okay, I open it and look for some part that shows organs like, a body, something like that. GM: OK, you get to the human anatomy. A: Is
this it?! Guaxi: Then I'll show it. GM: What do you show? What's in the page you're showing? Think about a biology book, what you want to show. Guaxi: Er, I wanted to show the human body, like, an image of the body, you know? Static but without the... like, cut showing the organs, you know? Or not? GM: Like the muscle structure? Guaxi: No, just the organs. Not the muscles. (GM: The organs?) GM: Only the organs, he chuckles: ???: [chuckles] B1: The structure, try the muscular structure, Arthur. (Guaxi: Okay, so I'm going through,) -I'm going through the
pages... GM: You go through the muscular structure, I'm going to ask for a Sanity check. Calango: Oh my lord, I can't believe it. [Laughs] I said it was so easy, and we're here "it's a secret, it's a secret". Guaxi: I Failed. Triz: And we “Let’s get biology?... (GM: You have-) Triz: ...No, we better not. (GM: -a flash) of the creature that left this scar on your face, when you look, it’s difficult to contain yourself. Guaxi: I drop the book and go back. Triz: Beatrice 2 runs and grabs the book… and flips to the page Arthur
was on. GM: Okay. Calango: I'm far, right? I didn't see what happened with Arthur. GM: You can see, you can see, you were looking together. Triz: And I'll say: (K: Arthur?) B2 : What was it? What was it? Triz: For Arthur. Where were you? (K: Arthur?) K: Arthur…? Guaxi: I start to cry. B2 : Arthur, please… (K: What is it?) Calango: I get close. K: What, did you see anything? What happened? A: [crying] Sorry, guys... I just remembered… B2 : What did you see? Tell us what you saw. A: There's a muscle page there. You
can open this one. It was just my thing, sorry. Triz: I opened it on the muscle page and lifted it up. ???: [giggles] B2 : What are you laughing at? ???: [giggles] Bitch! I'm having some crazy ideas. Triz: Beatrice 2 is saying that. B2: I… I think… that this voice wants to see things happening for real. Wants to see what's inside in for real. (K: What do you mean by that?) B2: She wants to see things happen. ???: [giggles] K: Are you saying we're supposed to skin someone here? B2 : I think so. And, actually,
there are 2 Beatrices. Triz: And Beatrice 1 will say: B1: Yes, but the 2 are conscious, so that's a problem. ???: Is that all that is hidden inside you? [giggles] (Triz: And the other will say...) Calango: I get the biology book… Dude, I want to open the index to see the chapters. GM: Uhum… Calango: Which chapters does it have? GM: In human anatomy? Calango: No, for the entire book. GM: Okay, you have… come on, I can pull a book here… Calango: No, in the part… in… No, in the human part, (GM: Biology…) I don't want
to see dinosaurs! (GM: ...book...) I don't want to see dinosaurs or animals! (GM: ...index.) No, man… GM: Let's go, There's many chapters here. Uh… we have: genetics, human structure of... organs, muscle, bone structure, digestive system… Calango: I'm going to open the bone structure, go, very crazy. I'll open the bone structure, I'll show you. ???: Hmm… GM: When you open the book with a skeleton appearing on the page, Calango: You're kidding. GM: you see… Coming out of the middle of his skull, a black scribble, and he starts to spin [FFU FFU FFU] forming a black spiral
all over the page. ???: Very well! The first element: the element of death. Now for second class: If you ignore me too long, Triz: I was thinking about killing my friends, and it was just… ???: you'll probably completely lose control. [giggles] Calango: I go to… the self-help books. GM: Okay, what are you looking for? Calango: Hm… it's here, right? GM: Yes, you get in self-help and cooking books. K: Uh… guys, okay, we already know that the answers are in the books, we just have to find out what he's looking for. B1: Can you repeat that?
What are you wanting. K: “If we ignore it for too long, we might lose control.” Calango: I'm going to get the self-help book, and I'm going to look for something that talks about… loved ones, or… I don't know man, I don't know what's in a self-help book about… feelings. B1: Wills? Wishes… GM: Uh… give an Use Libraries check there, Kaiser. Calango: Ah, I have 1 of that, I think. Man, I took it Normal. GM: You find things about dealing with depression, things you'd find in a self-help book, but… nothing happens. Calango: Ok. Triz: Hm… Let's
still try in the anatomy book to look a bit about the human brain and mind. GM: You won't find… you don't find much of that in a biology book. Triz: Yes, I imagine. Guaxi: I'm going to a cookbook. Cooking is here, right? GM: Yes, on the same self-help shelf. Guaxi: Here. Okay, I'm going to flip through some… cookbooks. GM: You open a cookbook, there are pictures of meals. What's your favorite food, Arthur? Guaxi: Lasagna. GM: You open it on the lasagna page, and suddenly [PUFF] a palm completely stained with blood appears. And the page overflows
with blood. ???: Hm… very well! [giggles] (A: Guys ?!) The second element: blood, flesh! Knowledge can be dangerous, learning everything about a subject cannot be turned back. Perhaps, the safest thing is to learn a little bit about all the subjects. [giggles] Calango: Yeah… whoops, I messed up the wrong one. I go on philosophy. Where is philosophy? GM: It's right there. Calango: Here? Uhm… I'll pick up a book of philosophy there that talks about… about purpose of life, whatever, something like that, bro. GM: Ah… all of them! [laughter] Calango: So I'm going to take anyone, and
I'm going to open it, like this. GM: Ah… nothing happens, he just laughs. (Calango: Great.) ???: [giggles] Guaxi: Is there an encyclopedia around here? Calango: I'm going to the children's. GM: Give me a Find, Arthur. Guaxi: I clicked. Fumble! GM: You don't… you start looking, but you can't find any encyclopedia. Calango: I'm going to the children's. GM: At least not in plain sight where you are. You go to the children's book, ok. It has several cute children's books of children's stories. Calango: I get one that teaches… (GM: Give an Intelligence test, Arthur.) GM: Sorry. Calango:
I get one that… that teaches the most things in general, like food names, food drawings, games, uhm… that there's more information in general. GM: Oh, they're all more children's stories, like, I don't know, some Lottie Dottie Chicken books. The big chicken. (Calango: Okay, I'll get the chicken…) Calango: The big chicken, go. GM: Nothing happens. Guaxi: Normal success. GM: You remember that one of the books on the table, right from the beginning, was an encyclopedia, Arthur. Guaxi: Alright. A: I think there's an encyclopedia over there, Kaiser. Triz: Beatrice 2 that is close to that can… Beatrice
1… can get it. GM: You take… (A: Yeah, I think it's there.) the big thick book in your hand, you open it, one of the encyclopedia volumes, and when you try to read it, you notice that all the letters start to get mixed up, and what was written in Portuguese and with normal letters starts to turn into unrecognizable symbols you can't read, B1: I… GM: but they are symbols similar to the ones you saw on the other side of the paper, for example. B1: I… I… don't understand anything about what's here, (???: Very well!) but
it looks occult. A: Yeah, everything here looks. B1: The symbols, in the encyclopedia. (???: O…) ???: It's done, it's done! Let me do the last one. [giggles] You got it right (A: You can do it.) ???: How can so many books have the same weight? [giggles] Calango: But they don't. Uh… is there any chemistry department, bro? Do I remember seeing it? GM: No. GM: Okay, some chemistry books are there with the biology ones. Calango: Oh, but… Okay then, I'll get a Chemistry one… I'll look for... the periodic table… ???: Show me how so many books
can have the same weight. [Chuckles] Calango: Uhm… The Physics section, where is it? Triz: Yeah, Physics! Good one. (GM: There is no Physics section.) Calango: Physics books along with the Biology ones? GM: There's a Math section. Calango: Mathematics! So it is, let's go with Math. I'm going towards it. Is here? GM: Okay, you arrive at the Math section. Calango: I get a book that has the gravity formula, or something bro. Do you have such a book? GM: Yes, there is a Basic Physics book that talks about gravity. Calango: C'mon then, I'll take it. GM: You
take it, open it, he laughs. ???: [Chuckles] does this book... (Calango: Oh, dude...) ???: ...weigh like the others? How can so many books have the same weight? [Chuckling] B: Uhm… want to try to group the books we had… GM: I'll just correct one thing here, since you had stopped me when I was talking about it. When the books were changing, he just congratulated and said that the element was Knowledge. I ended up skipping that part by mistake. GM: The last element was the element of Knowledge (Guaxi: Oh, yeah.) B: Let's try religion, spirits, belief… B:
body, soul, to see if there's any connection. A: We better try. Triz: Then Beatrice 1 goes there to get the religion books. GM: You get the religion books. Every time you pick up a book, he laughs. ???: [Chuckles] How can so many books have the same weight? B: Same weight… Calango: And if we gather the books we've already taken. B1: Yeah, I said that, we can try. Calango: Ehr… I go for Biology, I get the Human Anatomy book… GM: Okay, you go around taking all the books you've shown so far, you take them all, and
he, every time you take any book, he laughs. ???: [Chuckling] Triz: Ehr… Beatrice is going to try to get the Bible she was carrying. Beatrice 2. ???: [Chuckling] K: I don't think the… no, now I think the answer isn't… it's not in the books. At least that's what he's implying with that ugly giggle every time we pick up a book. A: W… when it's a book, like… it's… that could be it. When it is a book, like in the Bible, they're separated by books, aren't they? The chapters. A: Or no? (K: I don't know.) K:
I do not know. (A: Isn't it?) A: Is there a bible here in the religion area? (B: I have one, I have.) I already tried to get it. Triz: And then I give her to Arthur. ???: [Chuckling] A: Yeah, that's not it. K: Man, there has to be a Kindle here somewhere. Multiple books, same weight... B: It can be the matter's weight, or it can be a weight of knowledge, yeah? We have some options, but nothing leads to any answer. K: [Sigh] Calango: I'm going for… romances. GM: You arrive in front of the Romance bookcase.
Calango: Actually, Calango: I'm leaving. I go for the children's. GM: Okay. Calango: Oh, I don't think that the answer is in the books. But I'm going to get one that has several short stories. (GM: You take the book.) ???: [Chuckles] Calango: Great, book is not the answer! B: What if we rip everything off of all the shelves? A: Could it be… show him your cell phone. Cell phones can read books too, right? K: Yes, but… I have nothing here. Calango: Okay, I get my cell phone, I unlock it. ???: Hmm… GM: When you pick up
your cell phone, you realize something's strange. There was a book already open in it, and it changes [swish, swish], several pages change, and they change quickly [swoooosh] and suddenly the screen is filled with a lot of glitches, [static noise], and [thud] a symbol appears on the screen. A symbol you recognize, Kaiser. A symbol you've seen before. GM: [Flickering] the glitches disappear. ???: Huh… Energy, the fourth element. Blood, Death, Knowledge, Energy. [Chuckling] Congratulations, my students, you almost passed my exam. Only one element is missing: the most important one. But this one… I will give you the
answer. GM: And Beatrice, you hear something going on behind you, and you feel [rush] a wind in your hair and something cold in your neck. And suddenly you see, appearing behind her, [flickers] a man with a bunch of papers stuck all over his body… A paper stuck on his forehead, a big smile on his face, full of Escribed tattoos, and he has a knife in Beatrice's throat. How much HP do you have, Beatrice? Triz: Uh, currently six. GM: You can try to Dodge or Fight Back. Triz: I'm going to Dodge. GM: Hold up... you can
roll the dice. Triz: What do I roll? For Dexterity? GM: Uh, y... Dodge. Triz: Please... I failed. GM: How much HP do you have in total? Triz: 12. GM: You don't have a Major Wound, right? Triz: No. GM: You got 12 HP? And you have… Triz: Right. GM: You take seven damage. GM: He cuts your throat (Triz: Uhm…) GM: [Slash!] And I need you to do a Constitution check. Triz: I failed. GM: He whispers... ???: [whispering] Fear [slash]! GM: You see Beatrice's blood splashing and staining all the books around you. And Beatrice, the last thing
you see is your friends' desperate gaze. What is Beatrice thinking? The last thing that crossed her mind? In this shock, before dying. What was the last thought, the last sentence that crossed her mind? Triz: Do what needs to be done. GM: And her body disintegrates into some kind of red meat, and the real Beatrice stays alive. ???: [Laughs] It was a pleasure to participate in this class, my students. K: Who are you ?! ???: Hm... I can leave my business card here. GM: He turns over to the shelf, [splat, splat] glues two papers, one black
and one white, and [swoosh] disappears similarly but with yellow sparks in front of you. ???: [Chuckles] see you next time. K: OK, what was that? (A: OK, and what is that paper here?) K: Beatrice, are you alright? B: I'm fine, I'm fine. I have no idea what that was. GM: And the door finally opens with Joui kicking it forcefully. [Heavy thump] J: Hey guys, are you okay? (K: Joui?) B: Hm, not much. J: The door closed out of nowhere. K: Something very strange happened here. J: Like what? D: What was going on? B: Like, we
found a piece of paper, when I turned around, another me appeared, so there were two Beatrices together and both were conscious. And then we heard a very strange voice that tried to teach us about... about the Other Side, maybe…? And finally, that voice materialized in a person full of words and cut the throat of one of the Beatrices, which I don't know what happened, but she dematerialized at that moment, like him afterwards, but... GM: You can see it behind you, there is a fleshy red puddle, similar to what happens when you kill a blood zombie.
D: Are you okay? Are you… Are you normal? GM: Don't be scared. (B: It seems so.) GM: I'm putting the puddle in here. Rakin: A big blood zombie appears. (Guaxi: And it kills Arthur.) [Laughter] Guaxi: I came to look at the papers, Master. Triz: There's more. (GM: There's two, a black and a white one.) (D: You guys are fine, right?) J: So the voice cut a Beatrice's throat? B: Yes. (A: Yeah...) ...but might be fake. (Luba: I look at Dante, confused.) K: It was all very strange. You didn't hear it? I was shouting from inside
for help. D: I didn't hear anything. (B: We tried everything.) D: I was taking care of Joui's injury. K: I was trying to talk to you, but… (GM: Orpheu, as soon as you get back,...) GM: ...he flies over your shoulder and is calm. GM: Arthur, you're looking at two papers he left attached. One of them seems to have something attached, similarly to the one that was attached to the bookcase. The papers are... this one and this one. J: Ok guys, then we'll talk about it later, did you find the key? A: He put papers here
on the wall, look. D: Ah. (A: You know something, Dante?) B: What's on the other side? A: Ah, I'm afraid to look, and the same thing happens. B: Yeah, I wouldn't look the other side. GM: You held them but didn't turn it? (Guaxi: No.) J: Keep them, Arthur. GM: You notice a weight on the “Anthony” paper... (D: Can I see them, Arthur?) There's something stuck on the other side. Guaxi: Okay. Can I keep them, Master? GM: You can, but there's something stuck on the other side, something heavy. Guaxi: Okay, I'll turn it. GM: You turn
it around and there's a key stuck on this symbol and you feel something weird. You feel an indescribable bizarre feeling inside your head, you can't tell what it is, but something happened to you. Guaxi: OK, I get the key. A: Here guys, the key. GM: A big key, a rusty metal key. D: Can I, can I see these papers, Arthur? A: Of course, here. (Rakin: I take both papers in my hand,...) Rakin: ...look and turn them. GM: You can turn the other. K: Do you know any Anthony, Dante? D: No, no Anthony comes to mind.
GM: No? You can roll Intelligence. (Rakin: How do I turn it?) Rakin: In what you sent me before, there was nothing. (GM: Go take a look.) Rakin: I thought not. (Triz: I wanna roll.) GM: You sure? Check again. (Rakin: Yeah. I wrote it down here.) Rakin: Absolutely sure. I'll roll Intelligence, whatever. Calango: I want to roll one too. Rakin: I failed, now let me look at the paper, who knows. [laughs] Wait a minute. Triz: I failed as well. GM: You definitely don't remember him, Beatrice. Triz: Of course. Rakin: Okay... I'm going to see it now.
Wait a minute... Here, I'm opening it. I wrote everything down on a notepad, man… And it wasn't there. Let me see again if I copied it wrong. Yeah, I don’t have it, I don’t have it. GM: Sure? Rakin: Absolutely. GM: I'm sure I wrote it, just… (Rakin: Oh no! It's here, I'm a mule.) GM: [Laughs] Rakin: Can you believe it that I skipped him? Rakin: Like, just him... (GM: Seriously? Yeah, could be worse.) Rakin: I put it between the two others and skipped him. Rakin: Wow. D: No, I do remember Anthony, yes. K: Was he
from this orphanage too? D: Yes, he... ...he was the jokester, a person who joked with everyone. K: Dante. D: Hm? K: Do you, do you know any Bruno? D: I know him too. K: Do you know how he is now? D: No, I lost contact with everyone from the orphanage after the fire. I only kept in contact with two people. K: Got it. Rakin: What happened when I turned it? (GM: You don't feel anything, the black one...) GM: Roll a Paranormal Exposure. Rakin: Cool. Wow, 1. Extreme. GM: Perfect. You can say, That other paper, you
don't... It doesn't seem to... It doesn't seem to have elements in it. If there was at any time, with this ritual, it's already been used. But the bottom paper is a gift. Rakin: The white one? (GM: White one has been used, the black one...) GM: ...is loaded and cursed, you can use it to transcend and learn a ritual. Rakin: Okay. Then I go… D: Okay, nothing happened. Rakin: I keep both papers. A: I was keeping it, but if you want... (K: No, no.) A: Oh, no, it’s better not to be with him, right? (K: It
stays with me.) Guaxi: I give it to Kaiser. (D: No. You keep it.) K: Sorry, but there's a reason for you to be in a cell and I don't want to know why. The only thing I know is that I cannot trust you completely, so leave these papers with me. (D: No problem.) A: We now have the key, I think it’s for what we want, right? A: So let's go? (Calango: Wait, I'll take notes here.) J: Does it fit the lock? A: Okay, I'm going to the elevator. (GM: You go on then, leave the library...)
...that is now, almost with no fog, in fact the fog has dissipated, uh, along with Anthony's disappearance. Calango: I'm lost. Hello? GM: You are here. Calango: Ah, right. GM: The guy there. You then arrive at the elevator panel with the lock. Calango: And this is... Guaxi: Okay, I try to put the key in the lock. GM: It fits. [click] The lock opens. A: Yes. OK. J: Second floor. GM: There's only two floors on the elevator. Luba: The first floor and the other, right? (GM: The door opens...) GM: The door opens... The door opens... The door...
The door... Calango: It will open, it will open. Luba: Do a roll to open… (K: Are you stuck? Make an effort, Arthur.) A: I'm doing it. K: Pull, pull harder. GM: The door opens! (K: Yeah!) A: Damn it, bro! (J: Nice, Arthur.) A: Old door, right? K: It was stuck. Old door, yeah. Rakin: Did we have time to heal a Joui d3? GM: Ah. It sure did. (Luba: It did, right? For the love of god.) (Guaxi: [Laughter]. He is full of life.) GM: Give me a d3. Calango: Stop making fun of our slowness. (Rakin: You
heal three!) Luba: Do it for me, Master. Rakin: I did it here. GM: Dante did. (Rakin: I healed three.) GM: Three of life. Guaxi: Wow bro, nice. (Calango: Nice bro, you're crazy.) Rakin: Brand new. GM: You enter the elevator, a very old elevator. It fits all of you, it's a big elevator even. You press the second floor, the door closes. GM: And this... (Guaxi: Yes!) GM: And this is... Where you go to the second floor that I'll load now, let's go. Guaxi: Good. Rakin: He likes to be charming, that Master. Luba: Don't do this to
me, man. Calango: The guy makes a joke, bro. Rakin: It's a prankster, see. Calango: It's a big deal, bro. GM: Here, wait a minute. Calango: Harder, it must be stuck. GM: It's up there. Rakin: Old elevator. GM: You are up there. Rakin: Wow, it is. Calango: I don't see it. GM: You are up there. Luba: Just go up, just go up. Calango: Oh, It's up there, okay. GM: You go to the second floor. The elevator shakes. It shakes you a lot, since the elevator is old, and finally, you are on the second floor of the
orphanage. The door opens... [clicks] Oh man… There. The door opens And you can leave. Calango: I take my gun in my hand, because I'm not a fool. Triz: Also taking the gun in his hand. K: What's up? (GM: You see a closed door on your left...) ...a few old, smashed sofas and a long corridor on the right... Calango: Oh, dang! Dante grew up, right? Rakin: Wow, I'm gigantic now, really. GM: You are. Rakin: [Laughter] (GM: Here you look normal.) Calango: Here he's gigantic. (Guaxi: Wow, he's huge here.) Rakin: I'm too big. Now it's better. (Calango:
There, fixed it. He is tiny.) Rakin: Now I'm short. Better, I was too big. (Guaxi: There, let's go, let's go.) J: We're walking down this corridor? (K: Yeah…) K: What can we expect up here, Dante and Beatrice? Rakin and Triz: Intelligence roll? (GM: Yes, please.) Rakin: Wow, I'm glad I put points on it. Rakin: Failure. (Triz: I have points on it and failed.) GM: You remember that, it is… on this side, it was the staff wing of the orphanage, you barely came here when you were children. D: I don't remember much here. (B: Me neither,
this is where...) ...the internal staff was the most. J: We proceed with caution then, remember that the danger is not over. GM: You go ahead and on your right there are two doors. Those two there. GM: And the corridor further ahead turns left. Calango: I put my ear to the door. GM & Calango: Listen Calango: Go ear! Man, I... I... Man, I... I... GM: You put your ear to the door and try to hear something. The door is very secure, and it has a big gold lock. You don't hear anything. Calango: I look at everyone,
like... I look at Joui back there, waiting to see if he approves of me opening the door. J: Did you hear anything? K: No. J: Let's look at the other places, we've already made enough noise. GM: Roll listen... I'll roll for everyone here, actually, so it's faster. Give me a second. Let me switch off combat mode too. Let's go. OK, everyone did relatively well, except the Arthur who rolled one. And Joui rolled a 6, and Dante rolled a 2. Let's go there, then, uh... GM: Only Kaiser and Beatrice, actually. The rest was like, Erin got
19, Fernando got 20. Okay, look: GM: Kaiser and Beatrice, you hear voices echoing... (Luba: They heard it from there...) GM: They heard it from the base! You hear yourself echoing farther down the hall. Triz: OK. B: There are people, there are people ahead. K: Yeah, I can hear it too. There are people down the hall. Do you want... (J: Careful, Kaiser.) K: Do you want to continue down the corridor then, and then we come back here? J: Yes. Miss Liz can be there. K: OK. Calango: Is this door here the same as the one before?
GM: Uh... no, it is different, it's a normal one made of wood. Calango: Okay, I don't hear anything inside, right? Triz: something bugged here. I tried to switch my weapon on. I forgot what the button it is. GM: Okay, no, it's... 3. There. (Rakin: Orpheu flew away.) Triz: Thanks. Calango: I'm going, I'm going. Calango: At the corner, I'll stick my head out first... GM: You get closer, and you see what appear to be bars of an empty cell. You see a corridor of several cells going to the end. K: Uh... was there a prison in
your orphanage? B: Um... No. D: Not that I remember. Calango: Okay, so I look at Joui. K: It might be here. Do you want to go ahead? (Luba: Joui is clearly anxious.) K: Do you want to come first? J: You can go ahead Kaiser, please. K: Okay. Calango: Then I'll go. GM: You go ahead, this first cell is empty. GM: but soon the next cell on the left, you see silhouettes of trapped people. They look pretty wounded and beaten down, covered in tattoos one has a blindfold, and the other is missing a leg, supporting herself.
They are waking up, like this. ???: Ah... who, uh... What? (Luba: Joui is...) ???: Who is there? Who is it?! GM: The blindfolded guy says. K: Who are you? ???: Who are you? Who am I? GM: The girl with the cane, with one leg, she limps closer. (B: Do you know how you got here?) ???: Are you from the police? K: Yes. And you are...? ???: Thank God, thank God. I don't remember who I am. J: We will help you, Okay? It's going to be okay. B: We are just finishing looking for people around the
area. and we will come back to rescue you. ???: Take me out of here! K: Hang in there, we'll be back. Luba: Joui will look here in these cells on the right. GM: You see a man, he has a bandaged face. His eye are completely white. ???: [grunts] GM: He bangs his head on the door. ???: [grunts] Calango: I continue ahead... Is this cell empty? (GM: You go ahead.) GM: Arthur, (J: What did these guys do...?) GM: Finally, going to the last cell, you see a familiar face. And now, Gabi, I'll ask you to describe
Liz to me. Gabi: Hi guys! Guaxi: Hi! Gabi: Liz, her hair is much longer than you were used to seeing. Now her hair is gray. She wears a huge brown overcoat that covers a beige button-down shirt and black pants and she wears old, leather pumps. And... despite her marked face you can see the large expression lines and a very deep look like there's nothing in the world that she hasn't seen. Guaxi: Arthur is already crying. He sees her and starts crying, immediately. GM: Do you want to do the honors, Gabi? (Luba: Joui drops all...) Gabi:
I put my hand on my face like this, because I'm not used to seeing light. Liz: Joui? GM: And it's here... Luba: Joui drops all... GM: We're going to finish this episode! (Luba: Let Joui react!) Calango: You'll start the next session with acting, damn it! Calango: Everyone will go through this. GM: And we'll continue next Saturday at 6 pm, welcome back, Gabi. Gabi: Thank you! (Guaxi: Sorry for the delay, Gabi.) Calango: Gabi, when we were down there, she must have been like this, look... Rakin: Man, in the RPG groupchat Luba send like 5 screenshots of
Gabi's face just dead like that, like... Gabi: Man, there were times when I was like this, there were times when I was like this... Guaxi: Ah, you keep studying off-screen, then get mad at us. Triz: She has knowledge of the occult pentagram, right. None of us did. GM: You didn't need to have the knowledge... He was providing the knowledge to you. He was teaching what the thing was. GM: When he spoke... like, if you found the skeleton he would talk about death. But what's inside you is a skeleton, or an organ. It took you a
long time to figure it out. But it worked, it was fun! Thank you so much once again for another amazing session, and, next Saturday at 6 pm, Decojuration continues, now with the Granny. Luba: Finally! Luba: Thanks friends. GM:Thank you so much once again for another amazing session, and until next Saturday, 6pm. GM: Kiss, kiss, kiss! (Luba: Kisses!)
