you know most people spend their lives waiting for change to happen they think success will somehow find them that things will magically get better but real change doesn't happen to you it happens because of you and if you don't change you'll never move from where you are you will stay stuck every successful person had a moment where they stopped tolerating mediocrity and this video is the push to make that moment happen for you and if you love learning and understanding things on a deeper level then you'll love today's daily alux session on the alux app
we're talking about the discipline Paradox and why success is actually boring but that boredom is necessary you can download the app right now and listen to it and we've got an extra exclusive offer for you if you download the app and scan this QR code on screen you'll get 25% off the annual membership now without further Ado here are 15 things you can do today to completely shift your trajectory number one act on the information you already have and stop Gathering more look okay a lot of the time you don't need more information you just
need to start using what you already know right now you have a list of things that you should be doing you've read the books you've watched the videos maybe you've even taken a course or two you don't need another article on productivity another podcast on discipline or another Deep dive into Financial strategies no you need action every time you tell yourself I just need to learn a little bit more before I start what you're actually doing is delaying progress the world doesn't reward people for knowing it rewards people for doing because knowledge isn't power applied
knowledge is power the person who reads one book on investing and actually puts money into the market is leagues ahead of the person who reads 50 books and does nothing the person who goes to the gym with a basic plan and follows through will always be the person who spends weeks researching The Perfect Workout but never starts number two make decisions based on who you want to be not who you've been if you keep acting like your past self the one who procrastinates avoids risk plays small then how do you expect to build a different
future you can't create a new life while you're clinging to an old identity so here's what that looks like in real time you get an opportunity your current self hesitates overthinks and finds reasons to delay but your future self the one who's already successful would take that leap or you feel lazy and you don't want to go to the gym your past self would give in your future self would show up anyway you have the choice to spend money on things that give you quick dopamine hits or put towards something that builds long-term wealth your
future self would make the smarter move every decision is a fork in the road one person keeps you where you are the other one moves you closer to who you could be number three start acting for medium to long term instead of immediate outcomes look if you want to be wealthy disciplined or successful your life needs to reflect that right now that doesn't mean pretending it means structuring your life in a way that allows you to become that person someone with financial stability isn't reckless with their money someone who's confident doesn't second guess their every
move your life molds itself around your daily choices the people who actually change their lives aren't playing for next week they're playing for the next 5 to 10 years they build skills knowing they won't pay off immediately they invest money they won't touch for a decade they make decisions today that their future self will thank them for look at your life right now how many of your actions are driven by a desire for some immediate payoff how many times have you quit because something felt slow now ask yourself what would happen if I kept it
going for another year another two years how about another five number four live like the person who already has what you want don't wait until you have something to feel like you deserve it start acting like you deserve it right now you're not going to get there if you you say that you'll wait until you're successful before making any bold moves or wait until you have money before you start investing in Safe Haven assets like art invest whatever you can right now and in fact if you want to start investing like someone who's already successful
you also have to look at things that give you status and something interesting to talk about now what do a lot of wealthy people love investing in fine wine classic cars and art and with that last one art master Works our sponsor of today's video has opened up the doors for you to invest in it buying art was something that used to be reserved for the ultra wealthy but when you sign up at Masterworks you join a community of people who have the opportunity to buy fractional shares in Blue Chip art think paintings by renowned
artists like bangy and bosot whose last work Masterwork sold in 2024 was for $8 million after 1398 days successful people love Blue Chip Contemporary Art because historically well it's been less volatile than stocks it's even outpaced the S&P 500 in some periods now usually services like Masterworks have a long wait list and traditionally only High net worth individuals were approved but since you're an alux subscriber you're getting special treatment go to masterworks.io successful person that you want to be in the future number five eliminate half measures look stop with the almost committing okay how many
times have you almost committed to a plan so many people almost start a business or almost change their habits but half efforts give you half results and half results keep you stuck you don't need a perfect plan okay you need to go all in on the plan you have right now actually follow through half measures are the silent killer of progress you tell yourself you're making an effort but deep down you know you're not all in you're dipping your toes in the water instead of jumping in so you can feel like you're doing just enough
that you're trying but not enough to actually get results think about it you start working out but you don't track your progress you don't push yourself or stay consistent and then you wonder why you're not seeing a difference or you want Financial Freedom but you keep spending like everybody else thinking one day you'll get serious about money but that one day never comes if something is worth doing it is worth doing fully number six stop trying to impress others and become impressive to yourself now impressing others is a game you're never going to win okay
no matter what you do somebody will always have more money more success more recognition and if you're chasing validation from the out out side you're always going to feel like you're behind the real Flex is becoming someone that you respect yourself think about the people you actually do respect not the ones who just look successful but the ones who are actually in control the ones who don't need validation because they've built real confidence they don't chase approval they don't try to prove anything they just are impressive that's what you should be aiming for not impressing
strangers online not proving your yourself to people who don't matter but becoming the kind of person that you yourself would admire number seven shift from seeking motivation to building discipline motivation is unreliable it's a mood not a strategy the difference between success and failure isn't Talent luck or intelligence it's whether or not you can do hard things when you don't feel like it and motivation can be addictive you end up chasing that feeling that spark of INSP spiration The Surge of energy that makes you want to take action and for a while it works you
feel Unstoppable but then the motivation Fades and when it does you stop motivation is a mood okay it comes and goes it is fickle and if your success depends on feeling inspired you will never get anywhere because some days you're just not going to feel like it some days you'll be tired frustrated or distracted and if you're waiting for motivation to save you you will lose every time what you actually need is discipline that's what makes you show up even when you don't feel like it discipline is what turns effort into results number eight replace
passive consumption with active creation look it's easy to spend your days consuming right to lose hours to scrolling watching listening and taking in Endless streams of information without ever doing anything with it it's because can convince yourself you are learning staying informed and preparing but in reality you're a spectator being a spectator is easy okay it's comfortable it makes you feel like you're engaged without actually putting any effort in but if all you do is consume your life is not going to change real progress and success comes from creating something just look at the people
who are winning the ones making money building influence creating impact they all have something in common they produce they create businesses ideas content products Services they put something out into the world instead of just taking everything in so ask yourself are you a spectator or a player are you watching other people live the life that you want or are you building your own Number Nine stop negotiating with yourself every time you negotiate with yourself you lose you set an alarm for 6:00 a.m. it goes off and instead of getting up you start to bargain five
more minutes I'll work out later today is different this is how you sabotage yourself not through massive failures but through tiny daily negotiations that slowly chip away at your potential the worst part is that these people believe their own excuses they convince themselves that waiting delaying or cutting Corners is the logical thing to do think of it like brushing your teeth okay you don't wake up and think should I do that today ah maybe I'll feel like it later no you just do it because it's a non-negotiable now imagine if you treated your goals that
way imagine if going to the gym investing in yourself working on your skills just became automatic no mental tug OFW no debate just pure action number 10 redefine failure as progress if you avoid failure you avoid growth the people who actually changed their lives are the ones who stopped seeing failure as a stop sign every mistake misstep or wrong turn is just data proof that you're making moves instead of standing still the faster you rack up failures the faster you will find success failure is not the opposite of progress it is progress okay it means
you tried something it means you took action and that's the point here it means you learned something you didn't know before and that's how you're going to get better think about it every skill you've ever mastered started with failure didn't it you did not learn to walk without falling you didn't learn to ride a bike without crashing you didn't learn to read without stumbling over your words and as adults we tend to forget this we act like failure is something to be ashamed of instead of what it really is a sign that you're doing something
new number 11 make peace with being misunderstood if everyone understands and approves of what you're doing well you're probably not doing anything very bold changing your life means making choices that other people won't get quitting the safe job moving to a new place setting boundaries that make others uncomfortable stop explaining yourself not everybody is supposed to get it you'll be misunderstood your decisions won't make sense to some people your ambition will make them uncomfortable your discipline will look extreme your priorities will seem strange and if you're waiting for approval before you take action you're already
setting yourself up to fail most people live in a tiny safe bubble doing what's normal following what's expected never stepping too far outside the lines and when they see you making moves that challenge that well their first instinct is to pull you back in next time someone doubts your vision remember this you you don't need their permission you don't need them to see what you see your future isn't their responsibility it's yours number 12 make decisions that shrink your future regrets most people make choices based on what feels good right now but the real way
to change your life is to think about the version of you 5 or 10 years from now what will you wish that you done today will they be grateful that you took that risk or will they resent you for playing it safe the best decisions aren't the ones that make you comfortable they're the ones that make your future self proud it can be hard to realize how important this is because regret isn't loud it doesn't hit you all at once it creeps in slowly when you realize you've Wasted Years in the wrong job when you
see others moving ahead while you stayed stuck when you realize you could have done more but you didn't regret also comp sounds the longer you avoid the hard decisions the harder they become the more you put off action the more stuck you feel until one day you wake up and realize that not deciding well that was a decision in and of itself and it was a bad one number 13 trade certainty for movement you will never have all of the information okay you'll never feel fully ready and yet we still sit around waiting thinking that
if we just learn a little bit bit more prepare a little longer or gather a few more opinions you'll have enough to make the perfect move but we forget that success doesn't come from certainty it comes from movement stop overthinking and start doing okay certainty comes after movement not before because you figure it out by doing them okay not thinking about them successful people aren't more certain than you they don't have some magic ability to predict the future they act despite that uncertainty they move first and then adjust they fail they learn they refine but
they keep on going so stop waiting until you feel 100% ready that moment will never come instead ask yourself what's the next big step I can take then take it no overthinking no waiting for perfect conditions just movement number 14 lower your emotional reactivity to the world not everything deserves your energy Okay the reason most people stay stuck is because they're too busy reacting to news drama criticism distractions they live in a state of constant emotional exhaustion because the more control you give to the world the less control you have over your own life the
moment you stop letting everything get a reaction out of you you gain the power to direct your focus where it actually matters the people who are actually winning they don't wait waste time arguing with strangers they don't spiral every time something goes wrong they don't let their emotions be hijacked by every little inconvenience because they understand that emotional energy is a resource and most people are wasting it on things that just don't matter think about how much time and energy you've lost reacting to things that had little to no long-term impact on your life now
imagine if all of that energy had gone into you into your growth your money your goals and number 15 let go of the identity that's keeping you stuck maybe you see yourself as bad with money undisciplined or not the kind of person who takes risks but that identity isn't real okay it's just a story you've been telling yourself and as long as you keep believing it you'll keep living it if you want to change your life you have to start seeing yourself as someone capable of more your identity the way you see yourself it shapes
every decision you make and if you've been telling yourself I'm not good with money or I'm not the kind of person who takes risks or I've never been disciplined then guess what you're going to act in a way that proves yourself right it's called confirmation bias your brain is wired to seek proof of what you already believe if you see yourself as someone who always struggles you will unconsciously sabotage your progress if you believe you're someone who procrastinates you'll always find a way to delay things even when you don't have to now since you stuck
with us until the very end I'm saving a bonus just for you today's bonus is to walk away from something that is good enough now most people never build an extraordinary life because they settle for one that is fine not great not terrible just okay and that's the trap because when something is good enough it's comfortable it's not painful enough to force you to leave but it's not fulfilling enough to make you alive it's the job that pays the bills but drains your soul the relationship that's stable but uninspiring the routine that feels safe but
isn't getting you anywhere Comfort is addictive okay the longer you stay in good enough situations the harder it is to leave you don't have to stay you don't owe your past self loyalty and just because something works doesn't mean it's right the life you actually want is on the other side of letting go of the one that is good enough and that's all from us today alexir we're going to leave you with two things okay first of all don't forget to download our app and listen to today's daily session the discipline Paradox why success is
boring but necessary here's that QR code again just in case you missed it and second of all your life is the the sum of your choices my friend if nothing changes nothing changes these 15 shifts aren't just things that you can do there are things you must do if you want to break out of the cycle you're in the best time to start was yesterday the second best time is right now most people will watch this and think that's interesting and then they'll do nothing about it but a few of you will take this seriously
you will pick one thing up and you will actually do it a year from now your life won't even look the same the question is are you one of them we'll see you back here next time Alexa until then take care my friend
