right welcome this is a five hour long course on Google Maps SEO as well as local SEO it's a very long and detailed piece of content with me detailing what works for me and my clients and hopefully after watching all this you can get some insights and apply all the teachings to your own sites and to your client side so without further Ado let's get straight into it let me teach you exactly how you can rank a Google map business listing number one and how you can be better at local SEO I hope you like
it okay so local SEO and Google my business the framework so the first thing you need to know is that ranking your Google my business listing is highly correlated with your organic rankings so for example say your site is ranking on the first page let's say the fifth position and your competitor site is ranking on the second page on the 10th position now if both of you guys have a GMB listing yours it's is much more likely to be ranking higher than your competitors one because you're getting direct sorry the organic ranking for his website
is on the second page so this is to say that again GM build these things the rankings of those listings are correlated with the organic rankings of your site and of the pages of your site of course it's possible to rank on the maps so of course you you can rank your GMB listing higher without even having a site or without even being on a top uh 10 pages of Google but it becomes easier when your site ranks organically so yeah you just want to make sure you you know this uh because you're going to
be optimizing both your GMB and your website for local SEO now local SEO and sorry for this slide is a bit messy but what matters is the content so local SEO so for local businesses we have a few extra steps so this is to say that when ranking a site can be local or non-local but if if it is a local site so if you're trying to rank for example like the example here electricians in city so if it is a local site there are a few extra steps in ranking your site and I'll have
a course later on and if you're watching this in 2022 it must already be out but of course on how to rank any site in Google okay but this slide is to say that there's different types of sites so you can rank a site for example a Shopify store or a I don't know a business that's not local okay but for local SEO specifically uh keyword City or keyword uh Town there's some extra steps you need to take so the first one is of course create an optimize a listing on your GMB Google business then
build citations uh generate and response reviews there's a bunch more things that will be going over in this course this is just to say that for local SEO there are some extra steps you need to take to uh succeed now just to show you the power and I'm sure you're aware of this already but just to show you the power of the GMB listings in the rankings here on the left this is a two-part picture here on the left you can see that searching for the electricians in Canton GA you have the the ads of
course which take up a bunch of of the of the real estate on the page then you have the map and right below the map are the GMB listings and this is where you want to be because GMB listings are above the actual organic results okay and as you can see the first organic result is Yelp and it's much harder to out to organically outrank Yelp than to have a GMB listing on the top three okay so this is this is just something to keep in mind for you to know that the power of the
GMB and the reason why we want to tackle the GMB as well as the organic rankings but of course GMB becomes somewhat easier for it depends on the local terms for example for this term outranking Yelp is not the easiest task okay but as you can see the real estate for the GMB listings is immense and is super super valuable now moving on to GMB ranking factors and people have different names for this and this is more of a theory of course all of these will then put in practice but just so you know there
are four major ranking factors for your GMB listing so the first one is proximity the second one relevance the third brand awareness and the fourth traffic so what is proximity basically proximity is uh say you are searching from a city a let's give an actual example so you're searching from Texas okay you search for electrician in uh Washington DC so since you are in Texas and you search for electrician or let's see let's suggest electrician you're in Texas and you search for a local electrician or hire an electrician sorry no listings no GMB listings from
Washington DC or any other state will appear or it's highly unlikely so this is to say that when you search for something Google automatically gives back local uh businesses or local searches basically based on your location so you need to optimize for the locations you serve which is what I have written here so again if you your business is in Texas sorry the other way around if your business is in Washington DC and someone from Texas uh searches for electrician or hiring an electrician if you want your site to show up on that guy's search
you need to optimize it for taxes as well and I'll cover in this course how to optimize for different locations and the way you optimize for for different locations is what I have written all also here it's the signals on your site the content you Syndicate to Google and custom gmaps so this is just like an overview we'll cover all of this but basically proximity Is when someone searches for searches for something sorry the websites that are relevant to that search in terms of proximity uh will appear first which is kind of obvious but it's
what Google uh gives their Searchers now relevance this is basically again so you have proximity if I'm searching for location from location a it's most likely that businesses that are providing services in location a will appear first not to say that businesses that provide services far away from that location won't appear but they're highly unlikely to do so like I said we'll give you some tips on how to make those businesses sorry your business appear in different locations even if they're far away now regarding to relevance this is where you make your search relevant and
this is kind of I don't want to say obvious but I think you understand this okay so basically if you're if someone searches for uh hire a plumber um in New York City for example you want your site to be optimized for those keywords and relevant to those keywords in that Niche and that search so it appears so again optimize your site for those keywords plus the location so uh plumber New York City Google my business posts review optimized reviews which we'll get into later on if you use your Google My Business site your content
syndication all of these things that give relevance to your business and you can capitalize on the search people on the things people are searching but you need to be relevant to those people's searches and that's what we'll learn to make our website and our business relevant to the most popular searches that's how you can get traffic then brand awareness this is basically some extra signals you give Google because all of these are signals you're giving Google so it ranks your site higher but basically brand awareness signals are again content syndications citations which we'll get into
later on press releases and a bunch more stuff basically to get Google to know that you are the The Authority in that niche in that in in that location or in multiple locations that's brand awareness and then traffic of course it's a ranking factor and uh so a perfect example of this is say you are ranking number one and your competitor is ranking number two uh say 10 people click on your site and they don't see for example or the site takes too low too long to load people will just go back and click on
the second one so sorry uh yeah basically we'll get into all of this later on but CTR manipulation which is Click through rate manipulation which is getting people to click your listing or your website and press releases also give you traffic but basically all of these four uh are the main GMB ranking factors so now moving on to specific ranking factors so like I said Google my business science the proximity the categories you choose for your when you're optimizing your GMB listing which will have a video on how to actually create an up and fully
optimize your GMB listing as well as the keywords you include in your description and name and everything else regarding to optimizing your GMB and giving all giving Google all the signs it needs to make to to rent you higher okay then Links of course any SEO needs to know how to build links so the number of the links the quality the anchor text use Etc will have a video exactly on what type of links to build how to build them then we have reviews of course which is extremely important not only for rankings but for
the perceived value people see in your business because sometimes because reviews aren't everything so you can have a business with 100 reviews ranking second and one with two reviews ranking first so reviews don't translate in higher rankings not necessarily okay but what they do is they do to some extent contribute to higher rankings but they also contribute to people choosing your business over someone else's so if you have more reviews even if you're second people are more likely to click yours okay and of course uh the more five star reviews the better again quantity speed
diversity and then we'll we'll also talk about how to optimize the reviews to make them relevant reviews uh then citations um this is these are basically links on business directories which again I'll have a video solely on this uh you have to have consistency with the nap or an app which is the name address and phone number we again will cover all this the volume of the citations and the quality so this is a typo here it should be quality of citations and finally the behavioral signals which are CTR manipulation though so click to write
the clicks to color mobile the you can ask questions on gmbs the thumbs up in reviews the comments the FAQs a bunch of Behavioral signals okay and these are this specific ranking factors now moving on to the GMB optimization and again we have we'll have a video exactly on this and how to uh optimize your GMB but basically the process is simple so you need to verify your GMB listing it's pretty straightforward then you need to fully optimize that listing so address hours of work time phone number or phone numbers website you have to include
videos images we also cover how to um sorry there's a there's a misunderstanding here not a misunderstanding but people often uh think that when uploading images and videos to a GMB that they should add a sorry that they should geotag them for example to give them extra relevancy and that's something we do when uploading images to our websites or any other or any other place sorry you geotag them sorry geotag them to make them extra location relevant but the thing is when you upload images to a GMB it strips the the that information so it's
not really necessary and it's a waste of time but yeah moving on again I'll have a video just on this then the categories you choose you have to of course evaluate your competition and choose categories based on your competitors okay then you'll have a video on that as well on how to choose the perfect categories then keyword Rich posts and how to post when to post what to post then how to Syndicate the posts FAQs how to build proper FAQs with keyword rich optimizations and reviews and all this may seem like a lot and complicated
but once once I show you the processes you need to follow like step by step you'll see it's it's not that hard and of course then you can hire someone to do all this for you then of course optimization requires including keywords in our business description sorry uh again like I said a wide range of keyword optimized images at least one keyword optimized video citation citation citations backlinks and a lot of reviews okay now I'm going to take you over the game plan this is this is basically just an overview a simple overview and I
know this diagram is not pretty but it's enough for me to show you what actually is happening here so as you can see we have our money site okay and there should be an error over there linking from money side to GMB listing but basically our money site links to our GMB listing our GMB listing then has three things uh attached or associated with it it's the business side so the Google business side the GMB posts and images and videos that you post on your GMB listing okay and these are these are three extremely powerful
things that here in this diagram you don't see but all of this can be um expanded so all these blue rectangles sorry rectangles are expandable and there's a lot of things we need to do in each one of them um which can't be seen here but like I said all these three have a lot of stuff that we'll get into and a lot of the optimizations and interlinking and all that but the idea this is just an overall game plan to rank your GMB and also help you with your local rankings the idea is you
link to both your GMB listing into all of these three properties of course you send citations to your money site as you can see over there and then you also will will also have YouTube videos which keyword Rich keyword Rich uh descriptions and titles and all of that which we'll get into as well pointing to your money site into to your GMB listing and to all those three properties then we'll also have Google Drive stacks and not only the Google Drive sex and I'll get into that in just a second and then all of this
is syndicated to your social media and again some of these can be done automatically sorry and then you take all of this and you do some press releases and some Cloud stacking and the goal is to um is to take all of this and write a press release and Syndicate it everywhere okay the pr the press release will have all the links for all of this in it and all the business info and much more but we'll get it on we'll do that and we'll look into it later on then we also take advantage of
clouds cloud-based Services sorry like Amazon AWS I'm sure you know of it and Microsoft Azure and a bunch of others to tie all this up and give it a final push but again we'll look into this later on and this is the introductory video I just want to tell you a bit of what you learn what you'll do and what you will gain with this and uh yeah I hope you like this video and on to the next one hey guys welcome so in this video I want to talk about citations and what a citation
is is basically a link from a business directory that's all you need to know that's all they are actually so citation is a link from a business directory basically a site that allows you to place your business info from website name of the business and address to images to views Etc and have it be on there that's basically all this is and it's important to to be consistent so consistency is key because you don't want to confuse Google if you do you end up not ranking at all okay so you want to make sure all
of your citations have either the same format or have the same info and I'll be showing you an example in a bit but basically if your business name is dentist123 at Street ABC okay you need to put that address in for example a Yelp listing and you need to put that same address in the same format so if it was dentist123 at ABC Street you need to put it in that order so don't put it one two three Street comma ABC one two three okay you need to write the name of the business in the
same way everywhere of course there might be some websites that you cannot do it that you can't do it but I'm trying to be consistent consistent across all of the citations and of course you need to be consistent over your Google my business and your website as well so nap means name address and phone number and here's an example as you can see both of these websites in the future have their name address and phone number and what you need to do if you were to own these website you need to place this info in
those citation sites as well as on the Google my business so in both your Google my business and your citations you need to replicate this information and I can't stress this enough because this is really important you need to be consistent so please don't have the infinite information on your website and your Google my business you need to be consistent so if your address is written in a specific format in your website make sure you write it in that same format in your Google my business or in any other citation you'll be building now I'm
going to show you a couple of citations so you can better understand what I'm saying and here are a couple examples of citations so as you know we help which is the most notorious one uh excitation is simply a place where you can list your business name what you do you can also add photos your business hours business name Business website your phone number and the address so basically name address and phone number different citation sites allow you to put different things so for example Yelp allows you to add a map and allows people to
leave reviews on your service page listing and that's it is it's this simple let me show you a couple of more sites so you can better understand what I'm saying so again business pages is another citation site where you can place your email your website the category your phone number and your address so name address and phone number again there's there's hundreds this one right here for example lets you have your phone number as well your address the business name and your website so you're not only so you're not only building uh links to back
to your site so every single citation site allows you to have a link or almost every single one you're also building trust in Google's eyes so you're building citations so Google is aware that you're a local business working on this address you're also getting links back to your site so at the same time you're building citations together site ranked in a local search you're also building links on all of these sites here's another one place one two three again business name sorry business address business name and website this one also allows you to have a
business description another one right here is you can see the same thing phone email website and the address should be here yeah exactly and there's more and I think you get the idea basically these are websites where you can uh place your company info into so your name address and phone number address and some websites allow you to have a map a description a link back to your website Etc this one for example allows you to have a description which is also great and a link back to your site just our curiosity let's see if
this one is do follow or no follow okay this one is actually no follow no worries it's still a link and here's another one again name address and phone number also allows you to have a link back to your site and another one this one also allows you to have a map business name address and phone number and I think you get the idea basically these are sites where you can register your business and build a certain Authority if you are consistent because if you're not consistent Google will get confused so make sure make sure
you write your address in the same way in every single citation so let's just double check here for example the address here is one eight one four and here it starts the same way one eight one four New Jersey 70. and as you can see there's a bit of a mismatch right here so this one says New Jersey and this one says and J and I'm not sure if this was the website that made the abbreviation automatically or or not but if but if it wasn't this is a bad citation so you want to make
your citations consistent so if this one says New Jersey this one should have said New Jersey as well and again I'm not sure if this website made the abbreviation but if not this is incorrect let's just check another one for example this one right here this one as well NJ and this one as well so again we're seeing a theme right here again one NJ so maybe this one is the incorrect one maybe this one shouldn't have said New Jersey should have should have said NJ and I also don't know if these guys don't let
you have NJ but if they did let you have NJ make sure you put NJ instead of New Jersey and I know this might seem picky but trust me these are the little things that make the difference so again make sure you are 100 consistent across all of your citations as well as the ones on your website so your website should have the same format as you have on the citations as well as the same phone number and the same name of course okay so let's keep on going with the slides I want to talk
about citations and citations are nothing more than online business mentions and these business mentions give your brand awareness they give you links from authoritative sources and they make Google trust your brand and your website and your online presence even more and this can be from all the different places they can be from Google itself so from your GMB from a bing listing from Yelp which is one of the most known out there their TripAdvisor hot frog and a bunch more which I'll attach a citation list with this video so you'll be able to build them
out and have a list of the ones you can create manually or you can also send that list to someone else so that person can create the citations for you but I'll send you a list from the most common USA based citations the ones most common in the UK Australia and Canada so you can then grow go from there and build those citations the most important thing when building citations is nap consistency nap this stands for name address and phone number so you want to be accurate you want to be accurate with this nap so
the same nap you have on all of your citations you also have on your website so on the footer of the website you also have your n AP so you want to be consistent because consistency means Google will trust the information it sees on your business online so if the information you have regarding your business all across the web so in citation websites in Yelp TripAdvisor hot frog and everywhere else on the web including your own website if Google can see that there's an accuracy and there's a consistency with what you're putting out there it
will trust your brand more thus ranking your GMB or your site even higher so that's why it's incredibly important to have consistency when building citations with your nap then citations of course also give you a link back to your website this can be no follow or do follow most of citations and most of the authoritative websites so if you have a link from Facebook for example it will be no follow so most of the big big websites will give you no follow links but because you're going to be building a lot of citations with the
list I'll provide you'll have a mix of do follow and no follow citations and like I said in the previous video no follow links are not necessarily bad because say for example let's do Yelp I'm not sure if Yelp is a no follow but if it is there's no problem at all let's just double check with this one right here and let's see if it is a do or no follow because of course you can include links to your site on these uh listings you can see it is do follow however uh links from Yelp
go through a redirect and if you see here on the bottom left of my screen when I hover over this URL you can see it has a help.pt forward slash base underscore redirect and then the URL and my understanding is that when you have a redirect link it doesn't pass the link just as you can see see you later and then goes to the website so this will count as a no follow link so but again it's this is not bad why is it is this not bad because you're getting a link and the place
on the internet on one of the biggest citations website out there it has your name your address and your phone number as well as a business business description this is extremely powerful this is what you want so this gives you brand awareness links from authoritative sources and Google stressed which is the most important and having a listing on Yelp will give trust from Google so that's why no follow links are not necessarily bad they can be good then we have something and there's a difference we have what's called citations and then we have what's called
Data aggregators basically what data aggregators do is they Supply data to Google okay so they gather data from online sources including your citations and display them on their site for you so most of the times you don't even have to go to their website and manually list your business they'll do it for you and then of course you can claim the listing yourself so again what these data aggregators do is that they gather data from online sources including your citations your website any any other place they can find info on your business and list them
for you so that's why it's important you the info that is online regarding your business is consistent because then we go back of course to the net nap consistency because you need consistency because Google trusts businesses that are consistent across the internet so the information you provide and you put out there in the internet needs to be consistent so that Google can trust that the information that's out there is real and it's truthful so it goes full circle and then we have of course the normal citations these are your Facebook your gmbs your Yelps there's
a bunch of citations again I'll list them with this video so you can uh build them yourself or pay someone to build them out for you so yeah then indexing citations what you can do is uh you can throw a bunch of links to them you can go to connect dot Co forward slash GSA and these are basically a lower quality links ranging from a 10K to uh 20K per blast and you what you do is you send all of these 20 000 links to your citations and they'll get indexed faster than usual so you're
basically forcing the index and then something else that helps uh indexing the citations is uh interlinking so say we have here a citation from Yelp so this is a Yelp citation okay what you do is on your citation you're going to want to link out to your social media profiles all of them your website of course you can link out to uh your other citation so multiple citations can be interlinked between each other this gives relevancy and Authority then of course you can also make a GMB post and Link out to the citation just like
we talked about previously and of course from your social media you can also link to your real page or to any other sessions so you want to make sure that all of this is interlinked and I'll show you a perfect example right now so let's see this one here this is brown book.net it's a global business listing database you also have hot frog you also these are these are a bunch of uh Portuguese based ones but as you can see you can have photos videos links your social media links but it's like I am showing
you here but like I said I'll add a citation list which which you can use but Let's do let's show let me show you this one for example as you can see this is a citation it has the name sorry it has the uh it has the name the address and the phone number it says link back to the website and then it allows you to write an SEO optimize description this is what you want to do because you want to give Google the right signals that this is your business and what it and what
it is about because Google will pull this information from this website so if you scroll down here like I was saying you can link out to all your social medias Facebook Twitter you can link out to all of them okay so basically what you're doing is you have your citations that link out to your website okay but your website also links back to your citations because on the footer you'll have maybe a link to Yelp then these citations Interlink between each other okay all these interlinked between each other you can have and you will have
a bunch of citations and then your social media is also linked from your website then the social media also interlinks between each other like I said you can have a Twitter account tweet about the Facebook page or the other way around or any other social media Pinterest whatever then the social media can also link to your citations accounts and your site all of your citations should also link to your GMB let's put GMB here g m b which of course links to your social media again and your website and your website links back to your
GMB with your map in bed but all of these also can link to your GMB so all of this is somewhat interlinked and this is how you make the most of yours are all of your citations so you don't you don't want to just create them and leave them be you want to create them then you can also Force index them by using GSA links just go to connect.co forward slash GSA and then you also want to Interlink them so you can squeeze out uh most of the power from them then finally how many citations
do you need this is super simple you need at least more than your competitors the idea here is to have all the ones your competitors have plus some more and you can check this using ahrefs or CM sem Rush any other tool you can look for their citations in their backlinks but the goal is to have as many as they have and then some more of course you want to have the the main ones like Yelp and hot frog and all the your GMB as well of course but then you will not have some more
and you can get citations by going to connect.co for slash citations or you can go to uh or you can go to a white Spark these guys are a bit more expensive but they build out local citations and uh Global citations as well and they have a pretty cool service which I can't find the prices for but uh yeah right here so they can find citations for you they can build statistics for you they can do a bunch of stuff so you can either go to connect us here or you can go to White spark
but the idea here is to have more citations than what your competitors have and that's it regarding citations uh I will see you in the next video hey hey welcome to the second video here in the Google my business section or the local SEO or snack pack section wherever you want to call it uh so I want to go over Google my business and before I show you which I will in the end of this video how to optimize one and how it looks like I want to tell you about what I told you before
and actually before that I want to tell you first and I'm sure you know about this already but the the Google my business allows us to put our website basically here so when you search for in this case the Dallas dentist or the Dallas plumber sorry you'll get the ads and then you'll get this and only after that the will you get the organic results okay so this is an extremely valuable space and this map pack only appears on of course a local search results so if you so if you were to search for uh
Plumbing salary in Dallas or something like that uh no local business would would appear most likely so this only works for local businesses and if you're and if the keyword you're searching for is related with local businesses so again you have the ads then you have this and only then you have the organic results so our goal of course is to rank number one in the organic results and number one in the snack pack which is how usually people call this space right here and as you can see let's just look at the first result
right here uh the name of the the company or the business is Dallas plumbing company and I'm not sure if this is actually the name of the company or not but like I told you what most people do or what some people do is actually put their main keyword and then Dash and the name of the company as you can see for example as you can see for example the second result we put the name of the company Dash local interested plumber in Dallas so they tried and include their keyword in there so this is
against Google terms of services you should only include the name of your business but the truth is that having your keyword in the title of the business improves the rankings of your listing here in the map pack okay so again I'm not telling you should do this or not but if you do so you'll see a significant Improvement in rankings the thing is that people and your competitors can report you for not having the actual business name but this doesn't happen very often so I don't think you have to worry about that but again I
just wanted to be fully transparent with you and tell you that you can in fact do this and it's great it gives you some extra boost in the map pack so that's something you can do if you choose to something else you can notice is that and I'll and I'll be talking about this later on is that review is that having more reviews doesn't necessarily mean you'll be ranked higher as you can see here the guy ranking number one only has 54 reviews and a total of 4.2 Stars while the guy ranking in third has
300 plus reviews and 4.0 and 4.8 in his ranking third so there's multiple factors that come in when ranking here on the Google Maps section okay but we'll be going over that in the following videos so like I told you in the world of SEO these results are called the snack pack or the local three pack or whatever it's let's just keep it simple and call it Snack Pack and just like ranking your site organically there's on page and off page and I know this is a lot this is this is a lot crammed during
just one slide but this is extremely important and we'll be covering this in the next following videos as well as on the example I'll be showing you later on but please pay attention to this so regarding your own page this is where we optimize our local Google my business listing and I'll be going over this in a minute but this is where you optimize your Google my business listing so first before even optimizing you need to have your site rank organically ideally in the first page just like I told you in a previous video if
you're ranking on the 10th page versus a guy ranking on first page it will be easier for the guy that's ranking on the first page to actually to actually rank on the snack pack even though this isn't 100 correlated it does have some impact then you want to make sure and this again is on your side still so the on plate on your site make sure your site mentions the location you're trying to rank for on GMB sales so on the local snack pack so if you're if you're trying to and this is pretty straightforward
of course if you have a if you have a site about plumbing and you want anyone in Target Dallas of course you'll have your location on the bottom or in the Articles saying your your plumbing company from Dallas but some people forget about this so I felt like it was necessary to to mention this again then the third point this one is regarding the Google my business so when you're setting up your Google my business you need to make sure you have detailed info about the company so you need to fill all of the blanks
everything business hours contacts locations service areas description all the services provided and again we'll be going over this in example I'll be giving you later but you need to fill everything every single thing that Google gives you because if Google gives you things to fill in it's because it's needed so you need to fill everything don't leave anything blank and make sure you fill it with proper information then Google also allows you to create a free Google dot Business site which I recommend you do so and again I'll show you in a minute how you
can get that done but make sure that you take advantage of every single thing Google gives you then you want to make sure you use the posts function so you so when you create a Google my business listing Google allows you to create posts so make sure you create posts posts that are keyword Rich so don't just make a post that's irrelevant to your Niche make a post that has an image that has that has actual content and valuable content make sure you sprinkle your keywords on there so for example if you are listing if
you are if you're if you had a Google my business for a plumbing company in Dallas make sure you sprinkle that keyword on the post and make sure you have a call to action either for people to visit your site or to uh or to or to give it a call and again we'll be going over an example in just a bit after I explain to you what you need to do with regarding the off page then make sure your business categories are the same same or similar to the guy that's ranking on top so
if you have a plumbing company again let's see let's stick with this example and and this and let's say these three guys right here all all of their categories are are plumber and the drainage company for example make sure you choose the same categories as them and and plumbing might not be the best example but there are some business niches where are the categories you can choose are a bit sort of inconclusive so make sure you choose the ones of the guys that are ranking first because if they're ranking first they must be doing something
right and that's also a good point of reference if you're somewhat confused of which category to choose just go ahead and choose the ones from the guys that are ranking first and then you need to make sure you add several photos make sure that the keyword sorry is in the file name like we told you like I told you before and you can also Geotech the images if you want by going to go imgur.com um this is some this is an extra step you can do to make the images more relevant to the location you're
targeting and again I know I'm repeating myself but we will but we'll be going over this in just a minute after that reviews reviews reviews make sure your reviews have keywords sprinkled in them and we'll be going we'll be having a video just about reviews but make sure when a person leaves a review it it he or she sprinkles either your business time or your keywords make sure to use real reviews because Google knows when you're using fake reviews so try at least to act legit if you're buying them but but ideally you'd be getting
reviews from real people that actually tried your business but if you want to risk it and go with uh fake bot reviews you can do so but again we'll be having a video just on reviews which I'll be going a little bit more in depth in in that also make sure of course reply to the reviews then finally we have frequently asked questions so you can add you can add an FAQ to your business so make sure you have them having your keyword in the in the title so for example uh what's the price of
a plumber in Dallas would be a frequently Asked question and you can just type out the an interval of prices for example so that concludes the on page like I told you I'll be going over an example in a bit and I'll be having videos just focus on reviews and all the other stuff we just talked about here now off which what do you need to do regarding the off page you need to have local citation and we have a video just on citation so don't worry too much about it now but basically you need
to register your business on Yelp for square Bing Etc make sure you're consistent again make sure you use all the same nap across all of them so the name address and phone number must be the same so that you don't confuse Google and this is something we'll be covering on the citations video but try and copy the citations from your competitor because if you have all the ones they have plus some more you'll for sure have an advantage also you can go for local and non-local business associations but we'll be talking about that later on
then we have something called custom map pin citations which I want to talk about now but I'll be talking about in a dedicated video just for that then you have mapping beds on Web 2.0 and strong pbns which we'll be talking about when you talk about the mapping citations but not only can you embed those custom maps you can also embed the map Google gives you then that's a map then make sure you embed it on your site on the footer have that map embedded as well as the name address and phone number most local
sites have this so it's a must both so that people know where you are and what's your phone but it works as well as a signal for Google you can also do some tier twos and power up your citations and in a video about citations we'll be talking about this I just wanted you to be aware that we can actually use this and that concludes the off page so now let's take a look at an actual example of a Google my business and everything I talked about here there's going to be videos on this both
on-page and off page so don't so don't be scared I know this is too much information but don't worry I'll be going over in detail on everything on every single thing we talked about here so that being said let's go take a look at an example of a Google map business okay so before I show you the actual listing let me show you how you can create one just type Google my business in Google and just click the first link and you'll be redirected here uh this isn't okay it's in English now and just click
uh think manage now it's it's this is pretty straightforward just yeah exactly and just to sign in with your uh with your Gmail account and you'll be prompted to follow every single step in order to create an actual Google my business account it's again pretty straightforward I don't think it makes sense for me to go over how to create one but I'll go over how to optimize one which is the interesting part so we're here this one is from an old business I don't think it's up right now I kind of let it go it's
still getting some views but yeah I think this is a perfect example for me to show you uh what you have what you actually get when creating one so we have the homepage tab where you can see some performance indicators you can also create posts like like I told you you can add photos you can create an ad so if you just scroll down there's a bunch of information you can check you can also check reviews this is sort of the the main dashboard now moving on to posts like I told you you want to
make sure you create valuable posts this one is in Portuguese but I think you can understand this is just an image from a location and then you have an optimized description regarding your site you can have some you can also have some hashtags you can include your you need to include your keyword inside to make it more relevant and then have a call to action either a call now or or where people can click to go to your website and just create a bunch of posts ideally you'd be creating posts every week two or three
posts every week in order to make your releasing relevant the idea here again is that you need to make sure you take advantage of every single tool Google gives you so for example lightly with the covid Google gave you an option to give your customers a covet update so make sure you get that done okay you can also add offers and updates at events at products you have you have a couple of things you can do and I recommend you do them all okay because if they are here they're necessary and if you're doing all
this you're probably ahead of most of local businesses that don't even bother in doing this for example creating posts or events or updates most people don't even bother doing this so so make sure you you get that done so you can have the advantage over your competitors and of course it's not posting it's not just posting on on your on your Google my business that'll that will give you the advantage it's several things so several different factors as you know Google takes into account different factors but what we want to do is to give Google
all these factors one by one so so a little bit here a little bit there and if you add them all up they can contribute to get you ranked so make sure you get all this done then when you come to here to info here's the business name then of course you can add some service areas so if you're only targeting a city you can maybe write servers suburbs in here that depends on the country you are if you're in the United States or not but I think you get what I'm saying make sure you
fill all this in of course make sure you fill the hours in these are some special days maybe holidays I think then of course add your number here is where you can add your business handle so just like Instagram or Facebook you get to create a handle then add your website URL and any oh and any appointment link so this is where you link your contact page then products and services you can click here to add different products depending on your Niche you have you'll have products or services so in this case because this is
a plumbing company they only have services so you'll be adding Services instead of products but of course if you're if you also provide products you can also add them here what I want you to focus here is that you need to fill this all out as much as you can and as you can see there are some things that I haven't filled here because I I kind of let this one go then you also have highlights health and safety service options you can you can you can all you can add all these ones in so
make sure these ones are all filled then business description this is where you can create and sorry because it's in Portuguese but this is where you can create an optimized SEO description so write about your business write about when it started make sure you sprinkle your keywords in there make sure you add your locations your services your phone numbers create this like the place where you give Google the most relevant info you can so business name where it started locations your services how you provide those services to where to what people just over optimize this
as much as you can and then you can have an opening date as well as adding some photos but we'll be covering that in a bit now going over here to insights you can check the insights of the page of course this one's still getting a couple of searches okay now reviews and like I told you we'll be having a video Json reviews but this is a place where you can check and reply to your reviews uh make sure you reply to the reviews using your keywords but again we'll be covering that in a later
video then you have messages I think you have to have the application for this but basically people can directly can message you directly on your Google my business then you have photos you need to make sure you have you add a bunch of photos Okay this one right here has photos it has videos has a bunch of them as you can see they're getting seven thousand two thousand three thousand thirteen thousand 13 000 clicks or views so this is great okay if you add them all up so thirteen thousand plus seven thousand plus 3K 2K
uh more or less 2K over here as well the videos if you have them all up this is a bunch of views and Google loves this okay so add photos add photos of your company add photos of of the of the offices of people working so at work team identity which are the logos and covers make sure you fill this all out and add as many as you can in a way of course it makes sense now moving on to products just like I told you can add products based on your based on your Niche
you can also add Services the idea here is the idea here is if you have them make sure to add them okay don't click this blank then this is the website Google lets you have which is the Google My Business website this is some this is an editor where you can edit the actual site here uh just a straightforward site all your posts will be automatically syndicated here as well as your reviews I think we can view the site live let's just check it so it will be your business name.business.site um sorry this is in
Portuguese let me just translate this to English okay so it's a simple site you can call people you can you can call the business you can schedule an appointment just make sure you get this created it's it's quite simple this one is this is everything everything here is done automatically by Google so this posts again are automatically syndicated here as well as the reviews and the business description as well as your gallery uh so make sure you get this one created as well because I know I'm repeating myself but make sure you make use of
everything Google gives you then you also have users and some more information that it's not really relevant other than the manage locations this is if you have more than one location make sure you fill it in so that Google knows where your business is actually providing services to people so this works best for uh Services where you go to the business goes to the client so for example a plumbing company where the plumbers actually go to people's houses it's not it's not so much for a dental clinics for example where the actual client goes uh

optimized with images your business hours your address name and phone number your website basically when you fill out every single thing they allow you to is when your citation is fully optimized so after that we want to make sure we can power them up even more and we do this by using links so I'm going to give you a practical example of Yelp and let's say you have your money site here on the left of course you have a citation from Yelp which has a link back to your site and what we do is build
pbn links or any other type of powerful links to that same Yelp citation and why did we choose Yelp it's simple this can be done with any type of citation site I'm only using Yelp because it's one of the main ones out there and also the most powerful and also because this is actually the main reason is because Yelp allows you to have three different pages you have the front page you have the gallery page and we have the individual image pages and I'll show you this right now so we're here looking at the listing
and like I told you you have the front page you have the gallery page and you have the individual photo page so you can go from one to another so let's say we're here in the on the front page where we have our business name the hours our web a link back to our website our phone number basically we have the name address and phone number as well as and about the company where we can be more specific and include also some keywords in here and so this is right off the bat a powerful page
so if you'll build links here you basically are building links to your website so you have the URL page so the mainly help page which points to your website which is your money site and if you build links to this page right here the links pass through your money site okay but no the gallery page if you click here on the see all you'll be redirected here for to the gallery page and you can also build links here and why because when you click each individual image I'm going to click one so let's click this
one right here for example you can add a link back to your website so not only can you make the image relevant by adding your keywords in here you can also add a link back to your website and let me show you how powerful this is so again let's say we have here our main page from Yelp so the one I showed you before this one right here okay the listing page and inside this listing page you have the Gallery page and you have the individual individual photo pages and here you have your money site
so this page as a link to your website all of these individual image Pages have links back to your website as you can see here and this Gallery page links to this individual photo pages and DCL page links to the gallery page so let me just change the color if you are building links through this page to this page and to this page right here all of the links You're Building there because these are all interconnected okay we'll be going to your website and this is how powerful this is okay so if you're building links
to this individual image page the one we have right here so you're building links to this this URL right here the link juice will flow back to your website because this individual image page is linking to your site so so any pbn links you will hear let's say let's write here pbn links so any pbn links we build to this individual image pages and again we can have as many as we want as you saw and I'll show you again on the gallery page we can we can have as many images as we want and
of course add links on all of them so any links you build to these image Pages the link juice will flow to your site any links you'll build here to your home page will of course flow directly to your website because your home page has a link directly to your website so links built here will the link juice will flow to your website but the link juice will also flow to the gallery page and because the gallery pledge is interconnected with the image page in turn it will flow again back to your site so this

video I want to talk to you about reviews and reviews as you know are extremely important and Powerful because people look at them as a way to evaluate how good a business is I'm sure that if you want to go to a restaurant you'll be looking at the reviews to see what other people have to say that's just human nature and I'm sure you're also aware that a single negative review can ruin the business thus ruining the click-through rate on a certain listing here in Google my business but what you need to know regarding reviews
is that the more reviews and the higher the evaluation which is from zero to five the more clicks you get pretty straightforward now you also need to know that the number of reviews and the evaluations so the stars from one to five are not 100 correlated with the position in the snack pack as you can see from this image right here the guy ranking number one has 54 reviews and the guide ranking number third has 300 plus reviews and this was the example I gave you a couple videos ago I'm just repeating myself but the
idea that you need to know is that reviews and the stars number of stars are not 100 correlated with the rankings in the snack pack now before I tell you how you can actually get more reviews I want to tell you how you should reply to the reviews you already have so the usual answer so the usual reply to review is thank you for a review we're glad you enjoyed okay or something along those lines something simple or even if it's a long sentence it just something like this what you want to do is you
want to answer the review or reply to the review using your keywords your business keywords so instead of replying thank you for a review we're glad you enjoyed it reply something like this thank you for your comment we're glad you chose our AAA so our company name to solve your problem for a generic Plumbing problem for example in the next intervention do not hesitate to contact us we have technicians available for again Plumbing 24 hours or plumbing services 24 hours able to solve whatever your problem is so what you want to do is you want
to integrate several of your keywords as well as your business name and services you provide in your review don't just write a cookie cutter review make sure you go in depth list your services of course the services you provided the person with list your company name what you did and what you can do in the future for them and this is how you should reply to reviews you are again giving Google extra signals so that it knows that in fact you provide these types of services provided by company AAA and other services you can provide
in a certain location okay so in a way you want to optimize this review as much as you can and it's this small signals that in highly competitive niches make the difference okay so make sure you get that done properly now how to generate more reviews and I want to tell you three different strategies I use and these again are pretty straightforward maybe the last one not so much but the first one is basically after the work is done and if the client is visually satisfied ask the client to leave review online let's say if
you are actually a business owner you can just ask him to open their phone go on your Google my business listing and then leave a review please straightforward if you feel like you wouldn't want to bore them and don't want to and don't want to ask them to do it there just ask them for their email or phone number and then later on send them an SMS with a review link which I'll show you in a bit how to get that done and that's it simple and effective no need to complicate just ask them if
you're not asking you're not getting now if you're not a local business owner if you're someone providing SEO services to a local business owner what you can do is literally tell in this information literally tell them okay so after you've done a service either a plumbing services service or some dental work on a patient if they're happy just ask them ask them if they want to leave a review and it's that simple and this is the organic way of generating reviews simply by asking people who enjoyed working with you to share their experience and I
want to show you something really cool which is this review template so let's just get off the slide so I can better show you this okay this is the template what you can do with this is send them to your clients either by email or you can send them via a message if you can send them an image of course if you send them an image make sure you don't you don't have the click me button but if you are sending this through email and of course you need to send it via PDF so the
links are clickable so make sure if you do it in canva you're downloading it in a PDF format and make sure you insert a link here in this click me button and what link will you insert here let's say this is your business right here just go on write to review and then copy this link then you can also shorten it let's use a tiny URL just do this let's do my business name okay so your business name we have to put this because otherwise most likely will be taken and then shorten so you can
either send this link to them Via SMS okay which is pretty short or via email or if you want to go the extra step you can just do a template like this edit here apply and then download it via PDF and if you send them this through email when they click this link so I'm just going to test it out right here for example oh paste the link they'll be automatically redirected to the review writing place okay and what I have here is that if they are not logged in I'm just going to zoom in
if they're not logged in this is what will appear and after they log in this window right here will appear immediately after okay and this is just an easy way to facilitate the review getting okay it's uh just send them a link instead of saying okay go here and then click here okay people might get lost and think it's harder than it is and just not do it so either send them a link like this or just send them a PDF via email or or if you're sending them a message make sure you don't have
this here just tell them go go here go here that is if you're sending them this for example via WhatsApp or something where you can only send images you know actually you can send a PDF to it if you want to send the click me button here just send something like this go here and just people can just write this URL in the the address bar because it's really simple but what I usually do is just send them this like this via PDF format to your email or ask the again if your business owner just
send them this directly if you're working with a business owner yourself and doing SEO for them just create this template for them and ask them to send them to your to their clients via email or if they don't want to send this template to them just generate a link just like the one we generated right here and tell them okay send this to your clients this will is so simple they just have to click it and will be automatically redirected to a review page and that's it now I want to show you how to leave
a proper review I know we had a video on it I want to show you how to live a proper review I know we had a video on it where I told you that you needed to include your keywords you need to have a long and detailed reviews I also told you how you can get more reviews but today I want to tell you how to live a proper review let's look at some examples so our goal is to live long and detailed reviews we can either ask our customers for it or we can of
course do it at the black hat way which is we buy some Google accounts or take some Google accounts from our friends and family and write the reviews ourselves and of course you can use regular Google accounts or a local guide accounts which there's none here let me see if I can find some local guy accounts they just have a badge on top of it uh let's just do this right here you can find one right now let me just show you what a Google local guide account is it's basically a little star appears on
your profile and these reviews carry more weight okay and yeah that's basically regarding that so if you can get reviews from local local guide accounts sorry they're better they're more powerful than uh regular accounts and we can see here that the actual keyword of the business business name 209 Dental of course it's not the full business time but it's a partial match 209 Dental is in the review him and it's a long initial review of course of 305 Stars again let's scroll down this one right here glad I found this dental office in NYC and
I guarantee you this is a keyword that this business tries to rank for because these guys are a dental clinic so dental clinic NYC dental office NYC best dentist NYC so this is great including these keywords and partial matches and long till versions of the main keyword in reviews is something that's necessary something that I don't see here which I would like to see is the the people living reviews with um pictures because you can do so if you choose right to review you can leave a five-star review I can insert your review and then
you can add a picture this gives extra relevancy so if you can do this make sure you do it so five star reviews keyword optimized long okay long content and add pictures if you can and ideally you'd have reviews from local guides but that's not always possible so yeah let's discard this one hmm now something else I want to tell you is Google also picks up reviews from other places so as you can see here reviews from the web Facebook healthgrades because this is a healthy in the health niche as you can see reviews people
live here on Facebook are also picked up by Google so this are picked up by Google here and this is yet another signal because Google in order to rank your your listing your GMB listing in Google it pickups big sub signals from all across the web okay so these include the reviews people live on your actual GMB and the reviews all across the web and this is great because it may be easier for your business or for your Niche to ask for reviews on Facebook some people only use Facebook okay and I'll show you here
another example for example this one right here uh also pulls from Facebook but for example this one is right here pulls from a directory this is a Portuguese company director and I'm gonna be honest with you here if I remember correctly uh let's just do um plumber okay yeah I think yeah right so say this directory you can just leave a review like this I just gave these guys five stars and of course this won't appear right now I don't even know if these guys have a GMB yeah I don't think they do these are
aren't the guys but as you can see because Google picks up reviews from local directories these guys managed to get a review here on the GMB listing which gives it extra power and extra relevancy and extra trust in Google's eyes uh right here and yeah this basically pulls in reviews from all the directories it finds your business in that's why it's important to have citations okay because this is a citation this is a website on on Google this is a business listing website where you can sorry oh where you can list your website you have
your nap so your name address and phone number name address phone number a business description Services a little map so this is why it's important you have also citations because Google pulls in if of course the the website allows for reviews it's a mix it's a citation website that also allows for reviews if it does that that sorry it's good for Google because it will pull in that information as you can see from this directory or from Facebook or in this case a medical Niche from healthgrades in this case this is not working right now
but there are many many examples of this so to recap living rate reviews it's not just about leaving them on GMB but if you do leave them on JB make sure they're five stars ideally from local guides and ideally with pictures and keyword optimized and long and detailed but reviews also are dependent on the web so make sure you have them on your Facebook page on whatever else you you you know that people can leave reviews of your business because all of these are signs that build trust in Google's eyes that will rank your GMB
higher okay that's it regarding reviews in this video I want to talk about reviews and reviews are basically how people measure the quality of a business sometimes that might not be the best way but it's the most common way people use to measure how good a business is or a service or product and that's how people choose who they work with or which products they buy that happens with GMB as well if you're looking for a dentist in New York City you'd maybe be tempted to click the first one over the second one because even
though this one has five stars overall it only has three reviews while this one has 4.9 stars but has almost 1 000 reviews so so if you know nothing about these two businesses I'd be I'd say most people would be more inclined to go and click on this one not just because it's first but because it has more reviews but let's say if there wasn't this one first let's say the the rankings were this and this I'd assume you'd be more inclined to click the second one because of course it has more reviews and as
you know the more reviews don't exactly translate in higher rankings not every single time but reviews are a ranking Factor there's many ranking factors but reviews are one of them so the first thing reviews give you are higher click-through rates higher ctrs of course people will click the more the ones with more reviews so you want reviews because of higher click through rate which then will translate in sales then of course you can add your reviews your social proof to your website let's see for example the oh sorry this was an ad this guy's right
here like I showed you previously in another video they have the reviews syndicated to their website as you can see here this is social proof If you go to their website you can check the reviews for yourself and look at them one by one so reviews give you social proof which is something customers really really value and with this video I want to go over what I do to reply to reviews which is something that it's extremely valuable okay because you want to reply to your customers you want other people to see that you're replying
to your customers even the bad reviews and I'll tell you exactly exactly sorry how you should reply to the bad reviews one thing I want to stress is that don't and please don't do this don't send copy pasted replies okay people hate this make sure you reply to the reviews and read what people actually are saying because there's a ton of businesses that actually that just copy and paste the the template so thank you so much for your review you don't want to do this okay you don't don't want to do this and I'm looking
through uh these guys right here it looks like they don't even reply to reviews not even the bad ones and I'll I'll explain in a second how you should reply to web reviews because all reviews or most reviews are available and and and even the bad reviews can be valuable to to you into your business but the first thing I want to stress is uh reply to reviews without templates so let's go here to um oh let's go to this one right here it's the one I used to manage no longer in business I think
I don't even think the the site works but yeah it's it's a it's a good and bad example uh let me show you this one let me just um translate it for you so this guy left a review okay very good with super professional workers and a very affordable price to anyone looking for plunger plumbers in Lisbon they are I recommend I 100 recommend what you do is you reply to that review and this one is not even as long as it should be okay this should be a more thoughtful and thorough reply to the
review and I'll show you an example in a second but this is something that not that but this is something that's not extremely well done now something that's not at all well done is for example uh it's this right here so this profile left a review saying really good and the only answer was thank you with a smile this is not professional at all okay this is something that you shouldn't do so the worst thing you should you should do the worst thing possible is not even reply the second word worst thing is reply just
a basic thank you or a pre-written reply the next one is just replying like this it's it's a thoughtful but not enough not long enough it needs to be thoughtful and long enough and you need to you and you need to acknowledge the person that left the review let me find you a perfect example for example this right here is a better example as you can see this profile I have to review a longer detailed review and they're response well it wasn't a general thank you or a general response it was something that was thoughtful
and thought out based on the review the person left so personal recommendations are our biggest form of flattery thank you and your grandma for being a part of our dental family as you can see thoughtful and in line with with what was written above so you want to make sure you do this no can replies no General thank yous thoughtful replies based on what the person wrote and of course if you can include your keywords here as well it's another plus so for example this could end with uh we hope to see you soon again
in our dental clinic near uh Austin Texas or something like that make sure to include your keyword as well on the reply down here another example this one was from a review from a local guide and not a canned reply and not a general thank you it's something that it's in line and actually replying to this right here so it shows that the person that replied the business owner actually read what was written because it takes people some time to actually go to your business write a review and think about what they're going to write
so it's only right for you to actually spend some time as well replying to the review and this will make people actually happy and who knows maybe recommend it recommend your business even more to someone else so that's the main reason why you want to spend some time actually replying to reviews because people spend time within your business and you never know when your reply can make them even happier and who knows recommend your business to someone else you always want to make sure your customers have the best experience possible in every single step of
the way even when they say goodbye so when they leave a review you also want to be very thoughtful in replying to that review now I want to go over to how to actually reply to negative reviews so negative reviews we all know that they can impact their business to an extreme extent like we all know people base their decisions on reviews and having a one star review can really really hurt your business and because most of the times you won't be able to remove bad reviews or negative reviews sorry because people are entitled to
their opinion unless it's like a Spam review or something that you can then report to Google because you can report any review to Google but they won't remove it the only instance where I've seen reviews being removed is is if they are completely spam okay otherwise you'll have to live with negative reviews and let's try and find here a negative review before I go over uh how to reply to a negative review let me just tell you that a negative review can be an opportunity for you as a business to show other people that read
that review that you are transparent and that you're able to accept the criticism and grow from that I'll show you a perfect example from this which is here on Legit where I sell some SEO services for example this service right here I had someone leave a negative review which was totally uh okay I'm totally okay with it because I understand the customer's frustration and even though I don't agree 100 with this I managed to take that negative review and make something good out of it so let me explain these are pbn links links that you
point out your website and and make it rank higher in Google of course pbn links alone won't rank a site in Google you need on-pages here we need other things regarding off-page SEO but for the sake of it let's just read this review the the buyer said well I didn't see any improvements at all in almost two months totally valid might be true might be false I don't know I'll believe the customer of course so let's say this is true it might be because pbn links don't do the job on their own it's important to
do other types of of optimizations but what did I do with this review this review was was down here somewhere here uh this right here there's a there's a here other ones which um I can go over them as well but this one is a fake one for example this was the issue with the client but let's now focus on this one what I did was I took a screenshot of this review and I use it in a way that other customers that saw this review would see how I replied to it to it and
how I acknowledge the review so first of all you need to acknowledge that acknowledging a review is really really important and this is what I did here acknowledge the review and again of course we're doing this in the in a GMB we can do this in a Facebook in Facebook because you can also get reviews on Facebook I'm just explaining to you the theory behind this because you can apply this to any place people can leave reviews on I just want to give you an example in specific I'll then go over again here in a
second but first step is to acknowledge the review which I already did here and I also did down here uh acknowledging the review with a reply then you want to be nice to the person okay because if it is a genuine negative review or from a bad experience or a bad product they bought it's your fault it's always your fault okay it's always your fault of course there are cases where the it's not your fault as a business it's something my something else might happen but something else might have happened but in the end it's
almost all your fault so what I did here was just reply and trying to teach him not teach him a lesson of course but trying to explain to him why he saw the results he saw which were none which I said links aren't everything without a good on page SEO you can build links you can build links you want you won't see any ranking improvements that being said send me a PM I'll send you your money back because I'm not trying to scam anyone so I acknowledge the review I said I wrote this right here
for other customers that read this review in specific to know why he didn't see any improvements so so you have so you have to give other Customs so you have to reply to the review okay so you have to acknowledge and then reply in specific to the review which was what I did here and then you have to give something back as a form of compensation which again I did so I said send me a private message and I will refund you all your money back so I'm not trying to argue here I'm not trying
to say blah blah blah you did this bad it is good I'm not trying to argue I just acknowledge it explain why and then offer something in return to repay him then this happened here as well above a customer saying I can't really remember this one but um complaining of the traffic then of course I acknowledge it I explained it and I offered for the money back as well I think if I didn't do it here I did it through a private message but the goal here is to acknowledge reply to the review specific and
then on on Google my business you can't do this but what I did was take the review and put it up here in the actual service description so I took a negative review and put it on my sales page this is not very common but it's something that I did something that I chose to do because it brings out the transparency in the business let's move out of this example because I think you now understand so first step is to acknowledge the review then it's to actually reply and try and solve the problem they were
complaining about in the review so if it is a bad product or a bad service you explain them what happened so you need you always need to explain them what happened and then offer some sort of compensation either their money back a new product a new service whatever it is and of course never be confrontations never try and judge the person or start a discussion okay that's that's not a good look you never want to start a discussion in a public place in a review which is a public place anyone can see so let's go
over this one as you can see one star reviews five years ago wasn't replied to this one a one star review seven months ago which was a reply to let's see how they did so I'm not going to read all this because even if the customer is right or is wrong it doesn't really matter your only the only thing you want you need to know or the only thing you want to do is to mitigate the bad look that this review gives your business so it doesn't really matter if it's right or wrong even if
the customer is lying or completely wrong it doesn't matter the review is there it's once start you need you need to address it either way okay let's see how was the response this was a top-notch response professional okay dear patient we appreciate the feedback so acknowledge the person and feedback and say thank you for the feedback we appreciate it even if it's better good if also true you always appreciate feedback then you go over the situation in specific we understand that various situations may rise to delay of our patients arrivals to the office thus to
accommodate for such occasions we have set a grace period of 10 to 15 minutes blah blah basically are explaining the situation then they offer something like I said it could be a free service money back whatever in this case they offer to better their business they say however we have discussed our policy with the staff to make sure that no appointment is canceled prematurely going forward as you can see me reading this review and reading this response from this negative review I look at the business and I I I think okay so they got a
negative review but they're improving on it they're improving upon it so they took the criticism and they're improving on it and this is exactly what you want to do so acknowledge it say thank you offer something and improve which was what I did on on Legit as well I acknowledge the issue and I improved on it and that's exactly how I want to reply to reviews never be confrontatious never the customer is always right even when he's not right they have a couple more here which they don't reply to I'm not sure why but if
you have bad reviews you want to make sure you reply to all of them with a complete response so nothing like this for example this is a bad reply we are happy to announce that we have Wi-Fi available for our patients uh let me just see them in fact they don't have Wi-Fi okay so he's complaining that they don't have Wi-Fi the answer could be a bit more professional they could say they could say what they said up here okay to this person right here uh this way and then going forward we have installed Wi-Fi
in our facilities so our customers can benefit from that amenity so improve upon the criticism and me reading and anyone reading these reviews and reading the replies we'll see okay so it's a better view because they didn't have Wi-Fi but now they do so this review becomes somewhat irrelevant to some extent so I think you you understand more or less how to reply to negative reviews so acknowledge it even if it's fake or true criticism good or bad you also have two knowledge say thank you for the person leading the review reply to the actual
issue the person is uh complaining about offer offer ways to fix it or say you fix it and how you did it and try and repay that person back with their money back new service whatever and this might seem like something you don't even want to bother with but it's really important because having a bunch of negative reviews first of all without replies it's bad and with bad replies it's even worse with confrontations replies or with angry replies you don't want to do that you always want to reply and no how to reply yeah that's
it in regards to negative reviews I hope you really do implement this because it's a really really important welcome so what you want to do next regarding our local SEO strategy is that we want to create map embeds so we want to embed our map in Web 2.0 and pbn links so let's say if this is our map Okay Google Maps we want to have pbn links with our map embedded in them okay so pbn links with our map embedded we want to have Web 2.0 with our map also embedded in it and we want
to have uh pbn links and Web 2.0 again but this time with an anchor keyword pointing to our map okay so I'll show you this in a bit but basically you want to have all this point into your map which in turn points to your website and Google my business and it is all interconnected I also want to show you how you can create these custom maps okay I'm sure you've seen them around they look pretty hard to make but they're actually quite easy so I'll show you that as well and the idea is that
we want to embed both these custom maps in Web 2.0 and pbns and also the regular map Google gives us so for example if this were If This Were to be our business you'd go here to the Map listing in this case this is a service area but either way it works the same and just click on share and embed map and copy this HTML code and this is the HTML code you'll be pasting onto your HTML to get an actual iframe just like this one right here for example this is a map embed on
a Web 2.0 okay so this is WordPress site so if you were to actually embed your map by copying this code right here this one right here the HTML code it would look something like this and like I told you we want embeds and we also want anchor text links so you can also have instead of an embed of your map you can also have an anchor text link if you click it you are redirected uh to the map link of course you don't use the HTML code you use this one right here so copy
this link right here okay so you want to embed your map in web 2.0s and pbn links and this is an example of a Web 2.0 embed this one as well okay as you can see you have we have an article and then an embed embed in the bottom okay pretty straightforward so again you want to have your Maps embedded in pbn links and embedded in Web 2.0 which in turn make your map of course point to your website to your money site and to your Google my business okay so everything is interconnected and you're
doing this to give power to your Maps Okay and why would you want to give power to your Maps because your Map listing so this one right this this thing right here has a link to your site okay there's a link right here to your site it's clickable it's a clickable link so you're embedding this map in a bunch of web 2.0s I'm talking 500 plus Web 2.0 which all in turn link here which link back to your website okay so this page works like a more or less like a buffer site and this is
what this uh map gives you the benefit with creating my maps is that they give you much more so when you're linking here with web 2.0s and and embeds on pbns you're getting the link juice back to your site with the info that's here okay when you're embedding these types of maps these custom maps you're getting so much more let me show you what you're getting so okay each individual marker has different information as you can see the coordinates are changing as well as the title okay this right here is different from this one right
here for example you can also change the website in the description and ideally that's what you want to do then you also have the main place which if I can click it it's behind the e let me see if I can get it okay right here you have the main location so we are where your business is you can add a fully optimized description you can also add a link to your website actually you can add multiple links you can have as many links here as you want and what I recommend you do is also
have your citations here so instead of just adding your uh link a link to your website make sure you add links to your citations right here as well so this one isn't a very good example because it can be even more optimized it's good that they have the name address and phone number as well as the website as well as a quick description should be longer as well as some keywords but they should also have their social media profiles their citations and because you have a bunch of these uh markers you can add so much
information if you don't want to add your citations to just one of these you can add them you can spread them evenly across them all okay you can spread your social media evenly across them all as well so my map is much more valuable than an actual map from Google a regular map that's why you embed them both these ones and these ones okay you can also have what's called driving directions which is where you can tell Google how people can reach your business from certain points in this case let's say for example marker a
was a famous Museum you can tell Google that people driving from that museum should take this route and decorate your business in x amount of minutes this is of course valuable information you are giving Google Now how can we create these custom maps pretty easy just type on Google Google my maps click the first link and then just create new map if you don't have one already and let's say let's do the United States for example so let's go here to Texas let's say our business was in Austin we just dropped a marker right here
and this is our first point okay you can type here anything you want okay I'm just gonna type for example bizu business location one of course you can also add your keyword you can add keywords here like I told you you can add citations oh sorry about that you can change the color okay you can do anything you want you can add pictures images and videos which I recommend you do as well so like I told you you want to add as much information as you want you want to give this you want to give
these little signals to Google as much as you can now I actually want to show you uh one of the maps I created which I think it's fully optimized with pictures and citations let me just double check yeah so this one right here as you can see has pictures okay images and has a description for each one of them okay so even though this map only has one point or two I think yeah two so the main one of course where you can add your business description and website Etc and you also have the pin
ones where you can add a long description you can have your Facebook Twitter any social media you want you can also add your citations which I recommend you do so and also don't forget to add images just like I was showing you here and going back to this one you can have as many points as you want making them look like the one we saw previously so a circle of points around certain areas so let's say you for example you are a plumber here in Austin and you provide services to all of these locations surrounding
this area you'd be adding points all around here okay of course you'll have a main one on your business where the actual location is and you add different location points all surrounding your business okay for example here here here here here in in each one of those points you can even add images of your workers working there if you're a plumber of course you can also add images of certain monuments in those same locations you also want to add driving directions okay from your business to those actual locations and you want to make sure you
optimize each of these points individually so again add images description add citation at your social media and the description that's SEO optimize of course with your keywords in there and don't worry too much about being spammy because these Maps uh you can be a little bit spammy in what you do of course don't exaggerate but but you can be a little bit more spammy then of course the what I was talking about you can have driving directions just click here and let's say um let me just check a location nearby let's do East Austin and
there you go you have a driving direction and this is pretty straightforward and I think if you play around with this a bit you'll most likely understand how this works what I wanted to do with this video is to tell you that you should embed your Google Maps so the one Google gives you by clicking share and embednap okay you should also send links directly to the of course this page so this is just a short tutorial URL from this one right here so embed these maps and send links to the map uh URL and
also create in my maps optimize it fully just like we talked about and also make sure you embed this one and send links to this one directly and this is what we do to power up our maps and in turn Getters ranking higher in the Google Snack Pack if you're looking for Web 2.0 to embed your Maps or pbns I'm sure you can find some vendors on Legit or Fiverr or whatever you buy your services on again I'll be having an Outsourcing module so any questions regarding that we can then clarify later on if you
have any questions regarding the my maps or how or where you should embed them make sure to leave them in the group I'll be there to answer and I'll see you in the next one okay so in this video I want to go through uh the things you can do to optimize your site locally so we're not talking about GMB now we're talking about your local site and how you can optimize it to give it some extra boost in the rankings that will will in turn of course like I said the your website and the
GMB are somewhat related so if your website ranks higher your GMB will run higher and so on and so forth so I want to go over the things you need to do to optimize your site organically so your GMB ranks higher so like it's written here ranking a GMB is easier when you rank organically and I know I'm repeating this often but it's import important that you that you know this so you need a local optimize site I'll go over an example after I read through all these but what does this mean okay you need
an FAQ page you need some sort of review syndication page you can input the manually on your uh sites but there's plugins that do it automatically and if they do it automatically why not we're going to use them then this is more about the in the what is SEO actually and how to rank sites but you need long form and detailed content this is what makes sites rank okay valuable content so keyword optimized pages with images videos headers H1 hqs schema markup which will have a video on that later on meta tags inner linking so
how you Interlink your pages this is really important so when you're building links to a page if that page interlinks to another page the link juice will flow through sorry and that's extremely extremely important then of course outbound links we'll go over that as well link building in general the sitemap image carousels for relevancy mapping beds of course you need to embed your GMB sorry your local map which is a which has your your business in there on the footer of your site the nap presence so the name address and phone number product and service
Pages you need to include all the product products and services in a page on our website or in the menu whatever because this will be consistent with your GMB listing because as you know on your GMB you can tell Google what services or products you're selling so we need this also present in our website then again I know with this um this may seem like much and a bunch of information but I'll run through an example after this and we'll have videos on all of this so don't worry uh then a speedy side of course
you need your site to be fast because if people even if you're first and people click on it and it takes five seconds six seconds load people people will just go back and click the second result so even if even if you're first you need a speedy site and that oh sorry about that so as I was saying as we decide this includes the hosting you choose this is a factor that uh changes how your site is in regards to its speed image optimization user friendliness and we'll have a video just on how to optimize
the speed of your site then of course you need to be mobile friendly that's a given people search more on their phones than on desktop so your site needs to be first firstly mobile optimized uh of course you need an SSL certificate so that's the the padlock that's on the top left corner on your website makes it secure basically and of course social media present but with all this said let's run through an example and I'll go over sort of an audit an audit story and how to um how to get all of these done
so let's jump into my uh desktop okay so now we have three sites over here I'm gonna go over how these are locally optimized and how you can take some things that these guys are doing right and apply them to your own site okay so first of all first things first I mentioned is the second note is the SSL certificate this is something that's a must-have you need to have it I'll also have a video in this course teaching you how to do it's like a five minute video it's super super easy so this is
a mustard you can see all the sites have a specific so this is a must then another thing we can do is by element and go here and let's say for example iPhone as you can see site is fully mobile ultimate okay perfect okay we can also check this as well and I mean because most searches nowadays come from mobile device it's not from your desktop and this one's well let's see if it is it also has many right here which is perfect all these results no another thing you need to have a social media
presence okay as you can see and let's open this right here these guys have socially presents okay this is good for brand awareness and also of course for link building as you can see each one of these properties has a link back to their site and see these guys do something really great pictures let's just do let's just go to GT metrics which is a place where we can check the site speed and again I'll have a video on how to optimize your site speed so don't even worry about it I'm just showing you why
these sites are good and what makes them good okay and why they're ranking uh where they are at because I think this one searched for a plumber Dallas I think this one was number one after the ads uh yeah exactly number one about Yelp okay and as you can see again the map packs are extremely sorry extremely valuable because they're above even the organic results and I even think this one right here is that a listing and not entirely sure um looks like it isn't or it is let me just double check no it isn't
okay so as you can see this site isn't even ranking on it on the first page but of course I'm not doing this the right way because I'm searching from Portugal I need to to either try a VPN or use a ranking uh assist uh tool but yeah regarding the suite as you can see it's great the site loads under one second so that's achieved through hosting image optimization and some other things we'll cover later on now something again I mentioned in when I was in the slides is a long and detailed content so keyword
optimized with images videos and let me see what they have here so let's get Plumbing for example toilet repair and installation so these guys are doing it the right way I mean the content could be a bit longer but let's see this should be an H1 text Heller as you can see it is an H1 header and this one should be an H2 header which let's see if it is exactly it's an H2 leather okay so H1 H2 just like I mentioned um then long and detailed content with a keyword optimize of course I'm assuming
this page was trying to rank for toilet repair let's see toilet repair the average H1 H2 they have it inside the text and they don't have it anywhere else replacing toil they have long tail versions of the keyword so this is good then something else they're doing great is interlinking this is really important you want to Interlink to other pages on your site so when you build links to this page the link juice flows through to the other pages so this is good I would even Interlink or even place a link to another page on
their site but yeah minimum of one is fine then of course a video in web this is great and this image should have an optx so let's just test it out on a different site just so I'm not just using the same you do inspect and as you can see the Altex is plumbing services so the images that are uploaded are optimized for the site so like I said a drone h2's long form content keyword optimized which with images as you can see here videos and images should be optimized fully optimized and I'll record a
video on how to optimize an image to its full potential then we of course have the outbound linking which I which these guys for example don't do so they could like link for it so they could link for example to a Wikipedia page or a plumbing Association so something that gives this page Authority okay so you want to Interlink and you also want to Outer link so link to authoritative sources and this will give this page more Authority and of course we have the classic mapping bed if we go to contact us both here and
on this one as well contactors and on this one as well location and hours they of course have a map in bed this year here as well which links to their GMB uh listing they have of course the nap here name address phone number address hours of course these these matches with the one from here of course it needs to match another mapping bed over here which is interactive as well and these guys also have the reviews which I mentioned before review syndication so include all the reviews here on your website this gives it extra
relevancy they also have here a plugin that allows for uh that basically takes the reviews from your Google my business listing and uploads in here there's a bunch of Wordpress plugins that do this I can't even recommend one because there's so many that do it so just search for a review syndication Plugin or review WordPress review one should pop up this is something really simple but it gives you that extra relevancy and that extra signal so this page is great in that aspect I don't think these guys have it and or this one have it
reviews they teach you how to review and then have the reviews embedded from Google right here with the plugin as well and a map embed with all the reviews again the reviews by location this is great you need and you want to include reviews from your clients either use a plugin to automatically take them from Google my business or you can write them up manually like so and yeah that's it in regards to review and the review syndication page then of course uh something else they're doing great is having a services and these guys only
offer services but services and product pages these guys have a bunch of different product pages these ones as well service Pages sorry and these ones as these ones are service areas and services so you want to have both if okay so you want to have both if you service different service areas for example plumbers and types of jobs where they go out to the client it usually you're going to see these sites having a bunch of locations which these guys do here yeah service area as you can see they service all these areas so they
include them all here you can and there's some people that create Pages individually for each one of these for example I think these guys actually do it yeah okay so as you can see they have an individual page for each one of these and they can even be like the same so let's just double check yeah basically the content is just the same they're just changing this the this right here the location okay it's straightforward so yeah you want to have location pages and service pages of course you only have location Pages if you service
multiple locations then something that none of these guys have is an FAQ page um I don't think they do have it yeah they don't have it so yeah like I was saying uh it took me a while to find someone that actually did this because not many people do it that's why you should do it because it will give you an extra boost you can ask questions okay you can ask and reply your questions and what this does is let's just see yeah this one only has one what this does is what this means sorry
is you can have an FAQ page on your website where you can Syndicate all of these questions and answers and yeah that's it so far for this introductory video on what to do to make your site locally relevant and optimize it locally so again if we want to run through it super quick you just have to have an FAQ page a review syndication page long form and detailed content like these ones right here though this should be bigger what I recommend you do sorry what I recommend you do is you go to your competitors see
for example these guys on the rank for toilet repair insulation okay you search that keyword on Google and see who's ranking number one two and three you check those pages and you see the number of words the content that's ranking has okay and what you do is either do write this the same amount of words or more okay nevertheless okay I'll recommend these guys write a bit more but if they're ranking first with this just leave them be um but yeah so again keyword optimized with images videos age ones H2S with their keywords in the
in the headers if of course the keywords in the test text sorry images we use uh meta tags interlinking outbox links link building which you'll be having a video later on how to link build sorry the site map which I forgot to actually tell you which is something you can do with a plugin as well in WordPress basically tells you the the whole map maps out all your site which is great because Google this is great for Google spiders to crawl your website okay if you give them this makes it easier for them to crawl
your website so you want to give easy and valuable signals to Google and this having a sitemap sorry having a sitemap is another Plus and I might as well just tell you about schema we'll have a video later on in on how to get schema and what is schema but we can but I can show you right here what these guys are using for schema so just do this and as you can see these guys are using skimmer for a home and construction business as you can see here these are this is the schema code
this is again some extra steps you can take and you you will take if you do watch this course to the end but I'll have a video later on on exactly what is scheme and how it can benefit you and how you can get these sort of codes and how to include them and place them on their website looks a bit uh difficult but it isn't it's super simple and yeah that's how that's that's it for now and I'll see you on the next video in this video I want to talk about on-page SEO and
I'm going to take you step by step through this checklist on actual things you can Implement to get your own page on point to start a process of ranking your website onpage is something we have to do before the off page so this is your money site you have the on-page and the off page this will get you to that number one position but you have to focus both on all page and off-page and right now we're going to be focusing on on page so I'm going to take you through an example on how to
actually get this done the first step then is URL structure and let me just do this URL structure so let's say we search for Dallas plumber the URL structure is of course the URL in this case this it's a branded domain and then has the keyword Plumbing after it let me just search here for another example for example this one right here this is the URL structure okay now how can you check this you just go to your website and go to your posts okay this is in Portuguese but I I think you understand it
basically this is the the keywords so Plumbing in blind which is a service area here in Lisbon and then service 24 hours and then the name of the business but what you do regardless regardless regardless of that sorry is you go to your real SEO and then go to Google preview and this is your url slug so the structure that comes after the main URL so the main URL is zentopi.com and this is what comes after what you want to do is you want to make sure this your url structure is keyword optimized okay you
want to make sure to include your keyword in the uh slug here don't make this super long Okay Google values uh shorter slugs so don't make this like a place where you write like a bunch of words no make sure this is short and concise it has only your main keyword in this case I put uh this is not really Plumbing but let's do plumbing for now Plumbing the location and then service 24 hours I could have just done like this plumbing service area but I chose to do the uh Service uh 24 hours because
that's a keyword that this ranks well for and this is how you check the slug and how you shoot keyword optimize it okay so the next thing we have is the H1 H2 and H3 tiles these are the header titles these are really really important so the most important one is the H1 as you can see here it says heading one H1 which is my main keyword Plumbing city name sorry location name so Plumbing location name you want to make sure all of these headers are keyword optimized okay so it has my keyword exactly I
could have written some a bit more but you want to make sure that you have at least one age one one H2 and one H3 at least so this is an H1 keyword in title and then I should have this should be an H2 sorry you should only have one H1 because you would want to get Google confused so one Edge one then another H2 with the plumbing this time 24 hours location so this right here was Plumbing location this time is a sort of a variation of that keyword which is Plumbing 24 hours location
then another H2 text sorry another H2 header Plumbing location uh Dash service 24 hours so what you want to do is fully optimize these um H1s H2 and h3s let me just double check if I have an H3 right here and this one should be sorry this one should be an H3 so you only have one I only want to have one age one we can make this one a H3 as well uh so basically what you want to do is optimize this H1 H2 and H3 um titles with your keyword in them it can
be your exact match keyword it can be a long tail version of your keyword but you want to make sure you include your keyword in those titles then of course you have your page title which you can also include your keyword in there but what you want to make sure regarding this H1 h2h3 is that you have at least one of each okay and that's their keyword optimized so make sure you include your keyword in there and know that the H1 is the most important one so if you want to include your exact net keyword
exact match keyword sorry you should include it in the H1 then we have the title tag and this is basically what shows up in the serps let's let me just see here so basically when you search in Google the title tag is this one that appears here okay in blue these are the title tags okay and yoast calls them uh SEO titles you can um generate these automatically by just writing this uh variables that just allows you to do or you can write them out manually so I'd say uh Plumbing as you can see it's
changing and I can delete this if I want so as you can see right here is changing so Plumbing in Dallas 24 hours something like this okay so this is the blue text that appears right here and there's two things two two things sorry you want to know regarding this the first one is that you want to make these um optimized for click through rate so let's go here for example to these first results glancing at this which one would you click first in theory of course you click the the first result because it's easier
on to click it's the one that most people click but depending on the keywords and on the words that that are written here you might be tempted to click the second one or the third one for example maybe if I was searching for Dallas plumber maybe I'll click this one even though it's in third it has the best 10 million dollars so oh these are really the best so I maybe I should click this one so what I'm trying to say here is that you want to optimize it for click through rate you want to
have a enticing title that people will want to click okay so you want to optimize for click through right you want to have something that's sketchy that will make people click and the for example the best top 10 plumbers might be something that makes people want to click more than all these others for example this one is the perfect example let's say this one was first this one was second I would be heavily more inclined to click the first one of course not just because it's in first but because I'm looking for a plumber I
don't care about magazines so this one is not really optimized for click-through rate because people searching for Dallas plumber they want to hire a plumber they want to see they want to see anything about magazines so that's the reason behind this you want to optimize for click-through right so you want to have something that's catchy that people want to click on then of course you're of course want to optimize it for Google and what does this mean is you want to include your keywords in there so in this case we have Plumbing Service Area service

want to make sure this SEO title is optimized for Google as well so maybe include your keywords in there so it needs to be both catchy so people want to actually click it so your CTR is higher and optimized for Google then we have the meta description which is this that appears here so below the title and you also again want to optimize this for both CTR and for Google in regards to CTR so when you search for Dallas plumber for example you'll see that the uh keywords that you search for are bolded out so
plumber and oh sorry in Dallas are bolded out and on here as well Dallas plumbing plumbing Dallas so you want to take advantage of this ideally you're going to include your keywords in the beginning of this meta description because people read from left to right so this would ideally call more of their attention so you need to play around and see the best combination between optimizing for CTR for Google because say this one doesn't make as much sense as this one right here because these guys of course try to forcefully sort of include the Dallas
Plumbing keyword here so Dallas playing the company offers so it doesn't make much sense even though okay right here it's it's the business time but if it weren't the business name this wouldn't make much sense this one makes much more sense so looking for the best plumber in Dallas so they didn't they didn't try to force the keyword plumber down because if they wanted to force the keyword plumber Dallas you didn't make it wouldn't make sense because no no sentence has the plumper Dallas it needs to have an in in between so you want to
have a mix of optimizing both for CTR again and for Google and what I recommend is you go through your uh competitors listings and try and see how they're doing it and what they're doing it and where they're including their keywords how they're including them and how many times and yeah that's basically it's regarding the meta description and of course if you have yoast SEO installed you can write a meta description right here which is this which will appear just as these ones then image optimization this is for your articles so for this right here
for the page you want to add images of course but before you add images you want to do three steps the first one is the alt text okay so this is when you upload an image to your website you click this little pencil if you're using Wordpress and the alt text is this right here in my case I just put in the exact match anchor let me just show you how you can check if a page has the actual alt text in there let's go to the image right here right click inspect element and then

name is something like screenshot 2022 January voila so you want to make sure that the file name of your actual image is your main focus keyword Okay so on the file of the image you want to make sure the file name so something dot PNG sorry this is in yellow but I think you understand so the file.png or dot jpeg is actually your keyword.png okay so make sure the file name is also your keyword so alt text file name then the file size of course you want to make sure the images you're uploading to your
site are of quality but they also need to be small in size because if you have because if you because if you have big images say you have an image that's like 200 megabytes the site will take ages to load and your page speed will decrease thus your rankings will eventually decrease so you want to make sure your site loads like this super super fast and there's also a video in this course regarding speed optimization that I go from A to Z to what you need to actually do but this is a a first step
which is optimizing your file size you don't want to be uploading images to your site that are huge in file size and then file extension this also helps with file size because usually people upload uh pngs as images with their sites you can easily convert a PNG to a JPEG so convert the PNG to a JPEG and JPEG files tend to be much smaller in size so this is yet another way to optimize your the file of the files of your images sorry to be less heavy for your site and thus making your page load
faster then interlinking and outbound linking this is extremely important you want to Interlink the pages on your site because when you're building links to a page so this is the page you're trying to rank let's say this one is a page of time rank when you're building links to this page you also want this page to link out to other pages so that the link juice flows through okay and of course you also have the home page say the homepage right here also needs to link to all of these so because most of the links
you're going to be building go through the home page because it's only natural so you want to make sure that the home page interlinks with the service Pages the service pages with the blogs and the basically everything must Interlink in a way that makes sense of course and I'll show you here in a second so as you can see this here this one links to yet another service page and let me search a bit more around here this one links to yet another service page and uh there should be a couple more here you at
least it depending on the size of your article you want to link out to several different pages on your site and of course this page will also link out to other Pages as we can see here so linking out to the contact page linking up to Yelp listing uh yeah so basically you're interlinking between all of your pages so you want to make sure the link just flows through but you want to you want to Interlink your pages in a way that makes sense so you would never for example Interlink a blog page with the
home page I mean you could do it but you need to do it anyway that makes sense okay and a better example is for example your contact us page where you have your contact information you could link out to a Blog article but would that make sense I don't know maybe it would but you want to make sure to link an Interlink in a way that somewhat makes sense so the user experience is uh is great then we have outbound linking and this is where you link out from your page to authoritative sources say Wikipedia
say CNN CNBC Fox whatever say you're linking out to other pages so out by linking to other pages that that are authorities in your Niche for example here in regards to this plumbing and I'll show you an example Let's do let's see this one right here sorry this one right here oh okay no this is a perfect example so this one this website the magazine looks like a and I'm not sure about this but looks like a Thrust trustworthy uh magazine so and they have an article about plumbers so what you could do is if
you're this guy right here for example and you want to give your site a bit more Authority and relevance in their Niche you could for example go to the uh I don't know these service areas uh links sorry pages and insert a link here for uh this the magazine which talks about let's just double check best plumbers in Dallas so perfect you could do like this and write like this and this magazine is also a great place to find a the best plumber in Dallas this doesn't make much sense but I think you're understanding what
I'm trying to say basically you want to make sure to link from your pages to authoritative sources say Wikipedia relevant article pages I don't know Forbes news sites okay new sites you want to link out to all of them so that you're making this page even more authoritative because you're linking to authoritative sources and some people actually do this to the extreme they link to their competitors but I've never actually tried doing that but some people actually do it and say it works but uh yeah I've never actually tried doing that uh to that to
that extent but you can do it so yeah that's it regards to interlinking and outbound linking then we have keyword optimization this is a big one so first of all you want to make sure and let's do this as an example right here you want to make sure your you have a long and detailed content okay actually this one is not that long but it will depend on the serps so it will depend on the on your competition so let's do again polymer Dallas and you have to look through the ones that are ranking first
and see how many words and this is how I like to do it and see how many words they have in their um page and try to write more words than what they have so these guys right here I'd say they have about a thousand words maybe a bit more what you want to do is this is only one step of course you want to write an article that's more than a thousand words so this is a like the first step then you want to make sure it's keyword optimized you want to include your keywords
and sprinkle them throughout the uh the article and yoast SEO can help you with this uh we can see here SEO analysis for example and it helps you out to it including your keywords uh in more different places in the in the titles whatever so you want to make sure you're optimizing your articles for your keywords and of course the long tail version of your credit because you don't want just to put say you want to rank for plumber Dallas you don't want to just to you don't want just to of course spam that main
keyword in your article you want to make sure to do for example plumber in Dallas or plumber or best plumber in Dallas or top 10 Dallas plumber so you want to make sure you sprinkle different versions in different long table versions of your keywords in your article so long and detailed article okay long and due to the article with age ones H2S h3s keywords in age ones and each shoes and exact match anchors long tail versions of your keywords branded anchors so not just spamming your exact match anchor this ties into this one right here
which is keyword density you don't want to spam your exact match anchor because you'll be penalized and yoast SEO actually helps you with this it helps you out telling you if you have how many times you've included Your keyword in the article should you include it more should you include it less should include different types of keywords so yoast SEO is great for this for the to help you out with the density if you're having a trouble in finding out how much or how many times you should include one keyword they help you out with
this a lot then again to finalize this it's the keyword locations like I said you want to include them in your H1s H2 and h3s as well and in the first paragraph of your article ideally because Google reads from top to bottom so you want to make sure to include your keywords at the top of your article so say you want to rank for Plumbing in this place you don't want to just talk talk talk talk and then just only right here include your main keyword so you want to make sure your main keywords are
at the top of your articles and that's basically it regarding on-page SEO if you go through all of these and be critical and and think about in a critical way how to actually optimize your site for both CTR so click-through rate user experience and Google you're gonna have a page that outranks everyone and that's it I will see you on the next one okay so regarding SSL certificates and making your site safe and trustworthy this is something that you need it's a must you need to do this otherwise you'll have error messages which I'll show
you those in a second but what I'll teach you in this video is how to get that padlock on top which makes your connection connection secure and make sure it makes sure Google can trust your website so like I said an SSL certificate is something that conveys more confidence to people people like to go to trust sites trusted sources and Google of course benefits those sites that are secure so having a secure website is in fact a ranking Factor so secure websites tend to rank higher than non-secure websites then you can buy SSL certificates there's
there's different different certificates sorry but the base one which is the one you need you can get it for totally free so if someone ever uh tells you that it costs like 100 dollars to install it and to pay for it don't believe them this is really really simple a simple sorry and I'll show you exactly how to do it so like it's written here they are paid 90 of the cases but cloudflare offers them for free this is our site looks when it's not safe so if you try to access it Google will give
you this error message and if you wanna sorry get in the site you have to click on that button that says Advanced and then proceed at your own risk so most people will just turn back so we want to make sure your site is your your connection is secured through through an SSL certificate and how can you do it it's super super simple you just go to a cloudflare and I have this video right here which I hope I can play yeah of course so you go to cloudflare.com you create an account is totally free
then you paste in here your site you click add a site of course you choose the the free plan which it's good enough for what you want to do then just just there's a quick scan of your existing DNS records they'll show up here you can confirm them add some remove some you don't have to worry about it just click continue and now it will give you some new name servers those on top order sorry those don't talk for yours it gave you some new ones what you do is you go to your your WordPress
site you click and install a plugin called really simple SSL it's totally free to install just search for it like I did install and then activate that plugin until now super super simple okay now just go to plugins sorry this is in Portuguese but I get you understand what's happening here so go to options SSL and then this is like the the configurations of the plugin go to your the place where you have your website hosted in this case is namecheap I have my website host namechip and you edit the name server so you replace
the ones you have currently with the ones cloudflare gives you super simple just hit copy paste for both of them copy and type and paste again so basically what you're doing here you're replacing your current name servers with the ones from cloudflare and this is what will give you the SSL again super simple to do super safe the your dashboard might be different you might not be using namecheap you might be using GoDaddy or HostGator or any other host but it's super simple as you can see it takes up to 48 hours for this to
take effect for the DNS to propagate throughout the internet but once it's done then you click done check name servers and cloudflare will check for it it will might take a second of course and this is me just double checking and that's basically it this is exactly what you need to do to have an SSL certificate just like the one I showed you uh and being in the beginning of the video super super straightforward super simple there's nothing else to this it's just this okay short video but again valuable and yeah on to the next
one I want to go over how to set up your GMB profile so first things first is you need to have a GMB profile so you can write Google business if you don't have already a business listed just click here click manage now and this will allow you to start managing your business okay I already have one set up so I'm not doing this again but what this will get you is let's do this you'll get now a listing just like this one okay but now you need to optimize it okay you'll be prompted to
to this you'll have this business profile manager and I want to go over uh every single thing that's here uh one by one and this is after you uh claimed your GMB so you actually registered your business online through Google my business and you claimed it because because there's unclaimed listings let me show you unclaimed GMB let me show you how it looks because you can have a GMB that's not claimed and it looks like it looks like uh this right here on this business claim it now because there's business listings that are not claimed
when you click to claim okay so after we have it claimed after you can access your business profile manager so after you have your GMB set up now it's time to go one by one through all these steps so first of all is the category you need to choose a category based on what your competitors are doing okay let's go here to info and let's say you are a plumber in Dallas Texas I'm just going to give you an example because I need to give you some example okay what you do is you go here
and you can see that of course the main category for all of them this is an ad air conditioning but it's also an ad the main category for all of them is of course plumber plumber plumber plumber plumber plumber plumber plumber okay but this doesn't always happen Let's Do dentist Dallas as you can see most of these are dentists this one are heads dentists but down here you have dental clinic and looking at this what would you do would you choose your main category as dentist or dental clinic you choose it as dentists of course
because the ones that have dentists are the ones that ranking that are ranking higher and of course the the category itself won't make you rank number one this is all a combination of different factors and you get these little factors and little signals and you give these little signals one by one to Google and slow and steady you eventually rank number one so this is a little thing you can do is look up the business your competitors uh main category and copy them so you would never choose for example a dental clinic you you maybe
choose it as a secondary category and how can you check the secondary categories of a business because here on GMB you can put a main category so the primary category and you can add um different second additional categories and this is good this is again a signals that you're giving Google okay slowly and how can you know what what to put here what you do is you go through your competitors and go through the ones that are ranking first second and third and look what categories and subcategories they're using and how can you do this
really simple there's a plugin called the GMB Crush GMB Crush and you go to the Chrome web store and you add it to Chrome okay and once it's installed what you do is okay and just want to show you something that I wasn't able to show you in another video which is the local guide review as you can see this is a local guide review it has a little star so it carries more weight okay and what you do now with the tool is you just go to the tool and you click and search now
and you do dentist Dallas or whatever it is it is your your location your competitors and let's see this is an ad an ad this is the first one you click it you wait a bit and as you can see it uh already gave us the categories found so dentist being the main one and then the secondary ones Cosmetic Dentists dental hygiene hygienist dental implants so these are all the secondary categories okay and this is and this is and so if you are trying to compete with these guys ideally you choose the main category as
dentist and the second category is the additional categories as the ones they have here as well and you can do this for all your competitors let's click this one for example as you can see that is being demand one and all of the uh secondary categories are here as well okay this plugin is very helpful you can do this by also in viewing the page source and looking through the code but it's a bit harder not that intuitive so just install this plugin and it gives you a bunch of stuff let's just let's just do
right here this let's click search now I'm going to show you the full functionalities functionality sorry of this plugin we just need to wait a couple seconds and there we have it this is what it gave us so the title of the business the categories in the subcategories the ratings the number of reviews the review attributes in the business description the post count which is this right here so the posts they make um let me show you these right here these are the posts they're making as you can see this was posted a day ago
and the post count for the past 90 days and you can add a bunch of businesses here and you can literally add all of your competitors here and download the as a CSV file and and do some analysis from there but we'll have a video on a full GMB audit as well so this was the first step is how to determine what category is you choose and all the subcategories below now in regards to business name this is important and um and you can do two things okay so let's search for dentist Dallas again so
most of the businesses and ideally you'd have the actual business name so the dental method ideal Dental Uptown but what some people do is they actually include the keywords in the business plan so for example for example this one right here as you can see it has the business time and then Dash dentist in Dallas okay this is not ideal you can do this and it works great because it will make you rank higher but it's against Google terms of services but you can do it I do it myself I've never been penalized but to
just be aware that if you do it do it do it at your own risk so doing your business name Dash main keyword dentist Dallas and for this one right here this is importance which basically says drainage service Lisbon and then the business name of course you can do this but it's a bit risky but it gives you that extra power because you have your main keyword in the name so you can do this and it works But be sure to to be careful because it's it's a black hat technique because this is this isn't
actually the business name or most likely it is in the business name the business name is just this and these guys just included the dentist in Dallas so the main keyword for extra relevancy and extra power it's risky but it works so now you know what to do in regards to your business name into the categories and subcategories it's time to go to down here to the description and this is in Portuguese but I'll show you one that's not in Portuguese we can go for example to this business let's do it right now scroll down
here and as you can see this is the business description in English uh this one is not fully optimized and my goal here is to tell you that you Google gives you up to 750 characters so you want to make sure you feel all these news all of them I can write 30 more more words sorry more characters sorry but um you want to make sure you fill all of this and remember to include information related to your business or industry okay so for example they have a little bit of a story in where this
the business based and also include relevant keywords this is really important okay and as you can see here dentist in Dallas is right here dentist in Dallas again Family Dentistry so you need to optimize this in a way that includes your keywords and makes it relevant for the search but make sure to not stuff your keywords so don't Blast Your in this case Denison Dallas multiple multiple times because it will look spammy and this needs to look real and professional so keep it professional so keep it professional while doing the filling in the 750 words
and you can also add locations which was what I did here and make sure to talk a bit about the company and again include your keywords and make it professional now we go to uh service area so this will depend on the business if you have a business say a dentist you don't have service areas unless you have multiple clinics but if you are a plumber for example or a electrician you'll have multiple locations so multiple service areas so you can put them here okay and you include you can include as many as you want
and you should do this if you want to rank and appear in searches nearby okay so let's say for example foreign let's go here so these guys right here they should have different service areas so as you can see area serve dim tone and nearby areas all of these okay and you get this by filling them here so make sure to fill all the categories and all the sorry all the services all the areas you serve your click your customers in because clients searching from all of these will get your business to show up so
and if you if you don't include all this it only include Plano for example most likely when a client search from searches from Allen your business won't show up so if you do provide businesses to different service areas make sure to include them all of them which you can do by going to service areas and don't spam it say for example if you don't if you are a plumber here of course you won't most likely provide services in Houston okay so be mindful of that and be professional and make sure you're doing something that actually
makes sense then of course the business hours you can do 24 hours you you just want to make sure you fill all of this in you want to fill every single thing you can also add more hours this will depend on your type of business of course and these are your special hours for uh for example uh holidays and stuff which you want to make sure you feel them as well and of course your phone number and your short name this is something else that I can no longer change because I've already done this in
the past it was already approved but this is something that is valuable and this will basically give you a custom URL so if you go to um g dot page slash oh this business short name you be automatically redirected to this business as you can see it serves this service area why does it do this what is Google why does Google say it does this because on the surface area is right here I put all of this okay and I know this is in Portuguese but you can understand what I'm saying here so these are
the service areas this business serves and you give that information to Google through including them here in the service area now as I was saying the short name you can get it and it will give you a custom URL that will link to your business just like I showed you and the URL looks a bit more professional so the regular one it's pretty long so if you just uh write uh sorry if you just write G page slash your business so you have a shorter URL which you can um sorry foreign so this right here
is a shorter and easier to understand URL and it's more professional so this is what you get with the your short name why is this good as well because if you do this and do this you have a complete short URL for a review so you can just send this to your clients G Dot Page forward slash your business name for slash review and they're redirected to a place where they can leave a review super easy to do so that's another benefit of having a short name then of course you have your appointment links if
this of course will depend on the business but you should link to your contacts page okay so website Dot your contacts page Services you can add Services as well I have one ones right here and IO can also add you should also add services and products and I'll show you if we search for the business name you can see that these appear right here the products and you can click them see the prices see what they what they are okay you can even call the business so again these are all micro signals you're giving Google
to rank your site higher and of course you want this to be here as I show you for example this uh Dental Clinic they included a bunch of different Services they have you want to do this you want to include as many services as you can and make it look professional you can click it you can learn more about it and you can even schedule a call or an appointment as you can see the appointment link right here that I mentioned here this one right here is right here okay and you can schedule an appointment
and again let me just rephrase you want to make sure you feel all these in with all your services you want to fill Google my business profile manager to the max this Google gives you this tool Okay Google gives you all this so you need to use it you need to fill it to the max if you want to go if you want to rank above your competitors you need to feel all this I know it takes some work it takes some time but once you do it it's done so make sure to fill every
single thing every single third service you have every single product and if you feel it properly and you can even do one right here add a picture add a product name select the category select the price at at the description so Google allows for up to 1 000 words make sure you write 1 000 words make sure you make sure you're doing this properly and all these it says it option optional but let's not make it option let's make it mandatory and of course you can add a button to your site okay so right here
for example I don't think this one have it yeah these ones have it these ones have a link to the website to get more traffic to your website easily so yeah make sure to do all of this and make sure to fill in every single thing then we have um you can see the insights as well this is something that's valuable right now the reviews you can reply to reviews as you can see here the messages don't really matter the photos is something that you need to upload we will have a video on this but
um as you can see this one has 12 almost 13k views if you add up all these it's it's a bunch of a bunch of views and the Google values this so make sure to add photos and videos and as many as you want as many as you can you can even have different ones so the team you can upload photos to the team at work videos Etc so this takes some work but do it because it's worth it again if you add up all of these is almost like 50k view views maybe more and
this Google really values this because Google values businesses that have views and if you're the only business with a lot of pictures of your team people at work videos Etc Google will rank you higher because Google values businesses that are fully optimized that have all this info optimized that have pictures of of their business that do posts on a consistent basis consider consistent basis sorry which is the next thing I want to show you because you can do posts on your GMB and these are the ones that appear here uh um actually this one doesn't
have doesn't seem to have any posts which we can search for in this one again and let's see if we find someone with the posts to this let's do this and as you can see yeah these are Google posts okay click these are updates okay this one was posted just six days ago okay and this this get views and get clicks to their website as you can see here they both get views this one actually got zero clicks zero clicks again this one don't have many clicks but they get views and that's what matters okay
of course clicks matter as well with views also matter because Google values if you have an active GMB profile with posts and you can do all types of posts you can do offer post what's new events that you're having Google gives you all of these options and we'll have a video just dedicated to GMB post because this is something that's that requires a video in of itself okay because it's it's really important and I'm going to tell you how many posts you need to post each day you need to be consistent this video right now
is just an overview telling you that you need to do it and then I'll show you what and how to actually make these posts and what to write and where to link out to okay and then finally on the GMB we have the frequently asked questions which let's go here and you can see uh this one doesn't have any question but you can ask the business a question and you can answer it again this will be another separate video just on FAQs on frequently asked questions I'm going to tell you what to write how to

these the short name uh the appointment link your website URL the services product all of this description make sure to fill all the 750 characters make sure to add your keywords in there talk about the business make it professional add locations if you want add photos make sure to add photos and videos to your GMB because like it's like I said these ones get a bunch of views and a bunch of clicks as well and end in the next videos I'll be showing you what this is right here the GMB website how to optimize it

that you wrote in the info also it is also syndicated here all the gallery videos images and of course your calloused colors Now button and your opening hours you can see the site just preview it just like so super simple nothing much just a one-pager website which you can create just by going here you can change the theme put it you can put your brand colors you can edit some of the of the fields okay you can set an appointment link for example this is will depend on your business of course you can write your
body you can even add links here so as you can see if we do this we can add a link right here and let me just double check if these links are due follow or no follow most likely there'll be no follow but let's just double check oh actually they are do follow Okay so this is a way you can uh get a link from a business side so a Google property a do follow link back to your site which is always great we want to keep and we want to start sorry we want to
start building these links up let me just be clear your goal isn't to rank this site because this is a one-pager site with uh with not that much content this is just another property you're you're putting out there to give Google the idea that your brand is authoritative it has and it has several uh touch points um people can find you right so all the social media all your website your GMB this website then in the future we'll be creating a Google sites so all of these things will add up trust me and that's part
of the reason why you should bother doing this because like I said this one rank by itself won't give you much value but first of all it's something that Google tells you and recommends you do because if it is here it's because Google wants you to do so indirectly you'll have an advantage over the competitors that don't have it and then it's yet another touch point like I was saying for your brand so you have several pillars for your brand and this business site is yet another one and also I think Google provides this for
people that don't actually have a website this is a way of providing local businesses with a way to have a website on the internet so this in my opinion is more uh for that for businesses that for example don't have the funds to build a website or for people that aren't aren't that tax heavy tech savvy sorry they Google provides them with a way to build a quick one-pager website so they have a presence online that's basically it for this video super straightforward but I just wanted to tell you why you should create it and
how to create it how you can create it it's super simple why you should create it I already explained why and the reason behind it existing um already I also explained you why uh yeah and I almost forgot but of course you want to make this keyword optimized never forget about that so every single place where you can write every single text input make sure to have your keyword in there okay headline description summary the body okay make sure that every single thing that you build is keyword optimized so make sure to include your main
keyword in there some long tail variations of your keyword your service areas what you do make sure to always be thinking like that thinking with the mindset of optimization don't just like have us create properties make sure when if you're having the word to create then make sure to keyword optimize optimize and this goes for everything even citations which we'll talk about later on but yeah I just wanted to make that clear make sure to optimize every single property you create this GMB site as well okay so I want to show you how you can
get these social media profiles right here which give you extra relevancy so the ones right here profiles Facebook and this one is an old client of mine which I managed to get the Instagram and Facebook and I'll show you exactly how you can get this and the first thing is why would you want this because of course this gives you some extra relevance here and you're giving Google signals for it to rank you higher so we'll be talking about all these products popular times q a reviews what we already talked about the about a section
and now the the profiles this gives you extra relevancy and Trust in Google's eyes and you need to set up as many social media profiles as you can but the thing is is you don't just need to set them up you need to set them up and optimize them and what does this mean first of all you need to have some sort of following as you can see here this Facebook page for example and just talking about the following has a bunch of reviews already so 21 people it has interaction a thousand plus people like
this a thousand plus people follow this so it exists basically it's not just a dead page let's go here on Instagram as you can see it has 200 700 followers okay it has some traction and I assume that uh let's see Twitter will have some followers as well as you can see 30 20 and there are several factors that go into this appearing right here and follower count and interaction count is one of them and likes so and it depends from industry to Industry so in some Industries it might be harder you might need some
bigger followings in some Industries it might need less so it depends and there's no magic number okay so the first thing is have some sort of following so no actually the first thing is have them created the second one is have some sort of following in them okay the next thing is your social platforms need to include your business nap the nap the name address and phone number and let's see here on Facebook for example it has the name it has the address with the map and it has the phone number not the phone number
it has email but I'm sure the phone number is somewhere somewhere here it actually isn't yeah it isn't but as you can see I can make an edit so it even asked me to suggest an edit and this isn't a 100 necessary to have the nap on your social media platforms for example right here they don't have it they only have the name and I have a link to their website and on Twitter I don't even think they have yeah they only have their name in a short description so all of this isn't necessary but
they're all these are all signals that give Google a reason to include your social media profiles here and also of course you need to link your social media profiles to your website or your local business or your gmv sorry and this is social media 101 you need to post as well link your website here on Twitter they're not actually linking it we can do it they can have a link to their website here on Instagram they're linking to their website on Facebook as well like I said we're doing this but this is something that it
isn't warranty this only appear when Google thinks their your profiles your social media presence is good enough and we want to work to make it good enough so we're gonna work to have a following to fully optimize these platforms and this is a great example it has it has everything optimized in the About Us section with the the address the the business description that might be the same as the one that's right here um following the website oh actually the phone number is here sorry about that the business hours because this is this is works
as a business listing that's why on the reviews it pulls some reviews from Facebook so yeah again this is something that you can't do manually this is something that Google does for you when it feels like you have a good enough social media presence um so we want to work to make this a proper social media accounts of course like if you can have the the blue check mark so it makes your profiles even more authoritative so these are these are just uh you cannot this but yeah this right here so of course if you
can have this blue check mark this is of course very hard but it's again another signal you're giving Google that okay these are authoritative social media presences and accounts okay then of course when you're building citations and we'll have a video on those is you include your uh social media accounts in there so let me just show you a quick example a business here let's see plumber and let's click a one that's not an ad and what you do is you'd link your social media platforms here there's some citation places that let you do this
some that don't and we'll have again a video on citations and how to fully optimize them but what you do is you'd link your social media uh you you're basically be interlinking so it will be your social media platforms here that linked so from a citation to your social media platforms that then link to your GMB so listing links to social media platform that then links to your GMB and we can also link builds to these citations but again that's a video for another time I'm just saying that another step you need to take to
make these platforms more authoritative is link them wherever you can so have them on your website and I assume these guys have them sorry have them on your on their website if we go scroll down here and not down here maybe about a section these guys actually actually don't have it but they should have it or maybe I'm not finding it yeah but as you know most sites have their social media accounts down here which where you can click and go to their social media and this is basically the process of interlinking everything and making
and making and making this a Powerhouse then of course like I mentioned before you need to post consistently on your social media because not just you're not just doing this to have these little uh icons right here you're doing this because you're building a brand as well and of course having pictures right here that people can interact like comment before and after for example people love to see this and this will bring you extra business okay so you're not just relying on on people sorry on Google ranking you higher because you have this you're also
building a social media presence so you're not doing this in vain you're doing this to gain more clients okay and we also saw the ins the the Instagram page of these guys was full of pictures and interactions and followers and people like to see these people like to work with real businesses and nowadays a real business has social media presence and has pictures showing either the team their ads whatever for example here this I assume is a lady from their team we're saying you can book a call so you need to have a real presence
okay and as you can see this video that they uploaded has almost 500 views and this most likely brought one to customers even if you brought just one the lifetime value of that customer um is worth worth the time that they spend on building and doing this video so yeah the last one is uh stay active on these social media platforms and make sure you you actually build a brand so in this video I want to show you how to optimize your GMB post so you can get more traffic and searches to your GMB listing
GMB posts or Google my business posts are super powerful for your GMB strategy so you want to make sure your consistent and post on a consistent basis so I'll be taking you through how to optimize the GMB post images the content and how after the post is live how you can maximize your efforts and maximize the visibility of that post and in turn the visibility of your GMB listing so with that said let's just take a quick look here at the analytics as you can see this is a very very old GMB which I don't
post in a while so I just posted this one and this one as an example but the last one was in 2018 I think you know 2020 but even though the last one was in 2020 this GMB still gets it and reviews and what you'll see is once you start posting on a consistent devices once you start posting on a consistent basis you'll see little spikes right now I'm not able to show you because this only goes back a quarter but you'll see that when you post on a consistent basis you'll start to see some
spikes which are the effects of the GMB post because these posts have put in their views three almost three interviews one two one two so almost a thousand views so tell me if you post on a consistent basis on a daily basis and your posts yet after a week say 100 views if only one of those customers converts how many how how much valuable is that one customer so it of course it depends on the niche so let's say for example if you were doing for a Plastic Surgery Clinic and you were posting on a
daily basis if out of the those 100 views only one person converts that's like thousands and thousands of dollars okay but that's not the only advantage of GMB posts because if you're posting on a consistent basis Google will rank your uh listing higher but more on that a bit later so what you need to know is that most businesses don't post so most your competition is not posting on a regular basis and are the ones that post they're not properly optimizing their GMB posts most likely and like I said GMB posts are an extremely valuable
tool and Google rewards businesses that have an active GMB listing so they post on a consistent basis so I can assure you that if you make posts on a consistent basis and you optimize them properly like like I'll show you in a second you will rank your GMB higher your posts will start to get views and clicks and Google will reward you for that so now how do you actually optimize your chimney post let's get into it first of all the post itself so it's important that your image size is 540 Time by 405 because
why is this uh if you uh have different size images what will happen is is that your images won't show won't display properly as you can see here this image got cut okay so you want to make sure that your image doesn't get cut so the um sizes I found works best is 540 by 405. then how can you create your graphics just use some tool called canva it's free anyone can use it super simple I'm sure you know of it you can create posts like this okay super super simple just an image okay super
super simple these are just a couple of examples that will go into further then what images should you use ideally you should use real images so ideally you shouldn't use any stock photos because people don't like suck photos and they're ugly ideally you want to use real image of your team at work of projects you've worked on of real things so for example these two I don't have any real images so these are like only stock images and images of the different uh neighborhoods here in Lisbon but for example this one right here these are
real images so real hair transplant images and these ones convert much much better okay so this is what you want to do on this one I don't have I'm also using stock images so ideally you can use stock images and they do get views as you saw but ideally you'd use real images because it conveys transparency as well then add content on your post and I'll be showing you exactly how to write one of these posts but the content basically Google gives you you can write up to 15 or 1500 words so you should use
all the words then of course you should link to your social medias any PR you've done so press releases citations and you're going to use use hashtags as well and again we'll be getting into that in a second then the frequency ideally you'd post one per day but you want to post more than your competitor basically and this goes for everything so in SEO and in local SEO what you always want to do is get talking about backlinks you want to get all the backlinks your custom your competitors have and then some more this is
the same so if your competitors are posting one time a day you want to post one and a half times a day or so if you're if they're posting five times a week you wanna post six times a week so you always want to post more than them okay then there's different types of posts you can you can post there's offers business updates Event Services and you will get into those and how to use each one of them then the image itself so it needs to be relevant to the post so if you're writing a
post on a service say for example writing writing a post on a hair transplant we want to include image that's relevant to the post this is obvious but it's important then you also want to include your logo and your keyword because we all know that Google can read because we all know that Google can read images so if you upload an image to Google this is actually in Portuguese but it says hair transplant so let's just do like this foreign so if you upload this image to Google sorry to upload this image to Google Google
will read what's written here hair transplant so this is yet another signal you are giving Google on your GMB post so make sure to include a logo for professional reasons and then your keyword written out in a way that that's big enough so that Google can read it as you can see here for example hair transplant or in this case electricians or in this case plumbers okay so make sure you include your keyword in the post image then we can also include your nap name address and phone number as you can see here the phone
number only and uh these ones also have the phone number but this is more for your um for the person that's that's actually viewing the post so if they click the post there's the image there's a text you wouldn't want to make them you don't want to make them Loop through the the address and phone number here in the little text you can also you you should have it here so it's highly visible so we don't have to look for it in case they want to find it okay then website plus GMB post synergies so
what does this mean this means that you want to make GMB posts so this is a GMB post sorry GMB post and this is your website that makes sense according to your website so if you have an article on uh the top 10 Plumbing tips you want to make a post about the top 10 playmatics tips sorry because then you can link this post to a relevant article on your website so the idea is if you already have content set up on different uh Plumbing tips or uh for example hair transplant prices or whatever you
want to make sure you link that post sorry you link that GMB posts you just did to that relevant article because here we're building relevancy we're building authority and Google will value more your posts if you're linking out to an actual source that has more information on what you talk about on the post so make sure there's some synergies between your website and GMB so make sure there's somewhat interconnected and they talk about the same thing so Services prices how they can get in touch with you special offers the team whatever make sure they're somewhat
interconnected that they talk about the same Niche the same the same thing so post is relevant to the website content then of course you know on your GMB post you want to use the CTA button a call to action button that links to your website to either to the contactors page to your service page related to the post to an image whatever you want to make sure you always have a CTA a call to action then you want to include your nap your name address and phone number on the recent post social media and hashtags
and again I'll be showing you how to create a post uh in just a second then the Final Touch is after your GMB post is posted you want to share it through all your social medias to get the most out of your post so to your Twitter Instagram Facebook printers whatever so I can even show you an example here let's for example go here so this is the Facebook page for this um GMB listing so if you're having the work to make all these posts and write all this and add an image you might as
well just click on share post and copy the link and post it to here okay you might as well do this and of course so an example of this would be something like this learn more about our plumbing services on our most recent post says this post was about uh you know the plumbing services you offer and then you can do you pen sorry higher I have plumber here and then you can link to your website for example and then follow us on other social medias and you can add your links to your Instagram to
your Twitter and then you can also add links to citations you have built okay so make the most out of this Interlink everything so and then also you have to post this one you can go on Twitter and Link out the to this post you just did so for example let's say the post was this one you can then pick this up uh sorry click here and Ctrl C and command V on or on your uh Twitter for example you're on an Interlink all your social media so the GMP post goes to Facebook for example
goes here and then you share this one here and then you share this one here and then you share this one here so everything is interlinked interlinked sorry you want to make the most out of the the post you just did so let me actually show you what I'm talking about so here in your GMB you can go to post you click here to make a post you can make a of course a covid-19 update because we're living through this pandemic so you want to make sure you have an update because it's important for both
people and for Google to know what's your stance is in regards to covid-19 if you're open and when you're close to what are your rules you need masks you don't need masks so you want to make sure you make this uh covid-19 update then you can make offers and these are time sensitive so Google will show them until so Google will show them on your uh on the Range you set for that custom offer so you can make some custom offers from time to time you can make a business upload so what's new on your
business this is the most common one if you're having events you can make an event post you can make a new products you have so for example these will appear here only products and they also appear on search they are here as you can see the products appear here so more real said you're occupying more and more real estate and going back here you can go to posts again and let's go for the types Once More Time One More Time products and these are all the the types of businesses post gme posts you can create
so but the most common will be what's new so an update to your business and like I was saying what do you want to do so first of all you want to add an image so this is a bad example because this is this is a stock photo and doesn't even have the logo or the phone number anything so a better example would be something like this so it has a logo the phone number the keywords uh plumbing services 24 hours in Lisbon but you want to do something ideally like this so a non-stock photo
and your ad name address and phone number and the keyword so Google can read it from the image okay so that's what you want to do you want to post a image like so then the actual content you want to make sure you use all and this is in Portuguese but it doesn't really matter you want to make sure you use all the 1500 words so if Google gives you 1500 words you make sure to use all of the words and then you want to write an optimized article a keyword optimized post sorry so you
want to make sure to include your keyword inside the article multiple times or inside the post multiple times so in this case the keyword is Plumbing so you want to include it multiple times inside your post then you can link out to all of your properties and you should link out to one of all of your properties here I'm linking out to the GMB listing so in the maps I'm also linking out to uh the page of a Services service in my website for example which has linked to YouTube that links to a map but
this is more of on-page optimization which we'll get into later on then I'm also linking to some PR I did these are some press releases from Portuguese websites the link out to the website again this is another press release I did so you can link to PR you can link to citation story and then you went of course like I said add your name address and phone number here and some hashtags and finally the learn more button which you can customize I I'll usually send send it to the home page but when you're creating a
post you can have all the different types of buttons you can make a call Button sign up learn more buy order online book so you usually want to do this learn more button and send it to the website e your homepage website or a contactless page and that's basically how you optimize your GMB post so a lot of people don't do this so linking to your social media is having your nap because these are all signal signals you're getting Google sorry you want to include your brand name here your multiple keywords so the long tail
keywords the exact match keywords so make this fully optimized Interlink your social media so after posting this post Click Share post and post it to your Facebook to your Instagram to your Twitter that then we'll link out to the post again and have the call now button or a learn more button so a call to action a CTA button either linking out to any page on your website or to an actual call and then you need to be consistent you need to post on a daily basis so ideally you'd post a minimum of five times
a week and I'll guarantee you you'll be seeing results in a week's time because Google really really values this and most likely most of your competitors on your Niche are not posting and if they are they're not posting them optimized like so like keyword optimized linking to the social medias and AP optimize and again these are all signals you're giving Google and this will rank your GMB listing higher I also want to tell you how to make some link building to your GMB post so this again all these skills to your can go to your
website you can go to ideally yeah it always goes to your website in some way or another but I want to show you how to link to your GMB post and what you can do to link your GB post so when you make a post you and you you can see all here all your posts here you can double right click open in a new tab and you'll get an image link so you can do what you can do is link to this link so for example this is the image link so your GMB post
has the image link Let's do an eye it says the post link itself and we can erase this what you can do is you can link through this image link as well as the post link and how can you do this so for example you have a press release you got some press release done so a PR about your business so it it has content about your business it has a links to your social media to your business website and then it has images of course what you can do is ask them to upload a
certain image and then the image as a link to this right here to your GMB image you can do this for images on your site or on your GMB but if you're trying to make the most of it out of your GMB and trying to solely rank your GMB listing what you want to do on your the press releases you do on the links you build is you make sure to link to your GMB post images to give them extra power and relevancy so you can do all that in all the images from your posts
and of course you can do the same like I was saying sorry if you share this post this link would be this one right here and you can also include links on the press releases or any other links you build to uh this so don't just make the post and do all the things to the right of it also make sure to do thanks to the left of it okay so linking out to your GMB post images in the actual posts through press releases guest posts uh normal backlinks you can even do Web 2.0 embeds
you can basically go really hard on this because it doesn't really matter the types of links You're Building here you won't ever get penalized so you can go go really really hard with this and of course let me just say that you're not just buying a press release or making a press release to link your GMB post of course you will link to your money site as well okay it would be like a waste of money and time to only make a press release to link to your GB post that's not the goal here I'm
saying that if you do a price release you might as well link to your GMB posts and images to make the most out of them and that's it for this video I'll see you on the next one I want to show you something you can do to power up your GMB posts so let's say this right here is our GMB post just like this one okay a regular GMB post fully optimized like we've talked about before a bunch of links citations ERG page your actual website here to learn more your nap so fully optimized like
we've talked about previously but now what you're going to want to do is build links to these GMB posts because if you're building links to GS to this post sorry and your posts are linking out to your money site to your GMB listing to others these can be citations social media profiles any other types of links you're having you have sorry if you're linking to your GMB posts the link juice will flow through to these entities okay so any links built here so the two here to this URL you can copy this link and you
you're going to be building links to here so let's actually paste it on here so you're going to be building links to this link so all the links you build here will eventually flow through to all these properties so your website social media citations and again if you have everything interlinked so the links you build here go through through your citations for example and your citations link to your website eventually or you can link of course from the GMB to your money site directly but that's not the goal of this video because we already talked
about that our goal is to teach you how to link build to these properties to the GMB post so the types of links you're going to want to build are GSA links which are basically 10 to 20K link blasts which you can blast to your GMB post with your with your exact match anchor you're going to want to do High da links and this is what I do okay this is what works for me you're going to want to build Ida links these ones with your exact match anchor a bunch of branded anchors and some
uh long tail versions of your main keyword and then some tier 2 pbn backlinks these are extremely powerful and these I usually do naked URL and exact match anchor as well so all the power from these links will will be going to your GMB posts or posts which then in turn will be going to your money site your GMB listing and other types of links and this will make both your money site rank in Google and your GMB listing rank higher in Google as well then there's a trick you can do is say for example
here I'm linking to my website as you can see here on the bottom left corner of my screen it's linking to the website something you can do is though instead of linking from the GMB post directly to your website you can link to bitly and then to your money site so how do you do this you go to bitly.com you hit create a URL a short URL sorry you go here sorry instead of so the learn bar learn more button sorry links to our site so let's do this and paste it in here and then
create a short link and you can customize this however you want you can put your main keyword here in here as well when keyword this one oh sorry main keyword lava save it then you use this link that bitly gives you and post it here so we learn more button instead of posting your your main URL you post your big link that links to your main URL so you're putting so you're posting this link right here in the GMB post so the GMB post links to here which then of course links to your money site
and why would you want to do this because bitly links uh are redirect links so and I can show you so let's just copy this if I go to this URL it will redirect me to the money site okay so the site that I put there but the good thing about bitly links is that they carry a lot of power I have here an example which I can show you if we copy this link and I paste it here in the mods open inside Explorer you can see that the page in the domain Authority are
super super high so you are passing it through a DA 90 Plus in a um PA 50 plus link shortener redirect link and this will give some extra power to your links from your GMB post so if you're doing all of this you might as well do this as well it's an extra step to give you some extra extra power and as you can see here these links do actually carry some power and yeah this is basically what I want to talk about it's this uh short strategy to link to your GMB posts that actually
works hey hey welcome to the next video I want to talk to you about keyword research and just like the niche selection keyword research is something that people often Overlook and again I can speak from experience when I started doing SEO I skipped this step completely ahead and came to regret it later this is because it's something really important that you have to do before you start building your website and why is this important because if you don't know the keywords you're targeting if you don't know the queries you're going to try to rank for
on your site it's Unthinkable to even start making a site makes sense right so before you create a site your limit you only it only makes sense to know and study and research the keywords you are going to Target and only after you know the keywords you're going to Target you'll create a site with content optimized for those keywords now before we actually get into uh the actual example I want to tell you something that's also important regarding keyword research so as you can see here uh the keyword plastic surgery NYC so for New York
City has about 880 searches per month and you'd think okay uh I see this keyword it has a bunch of searches I'm just gonna go after it I'm just going to try to rank my site for it what you need to think is that this keyword is extremely competitive so keywords with more Searchers are more competitive obviously so you'll have a ton of people a ton of companies with lots of money trying to rank for these keywords which are extremely competitive so what's smart to do is to go after keywords that have list uh competition
the less competition and less searches per month so say for example plastic surgery of New York City plexig plastic surgery in New York City pricing so you go after a bunch of low end keywords in terms of searches and if you add them all up so if you add 90 plus 80 plus 80 plus 70 plus 70 plus 50 plus 50 and so on these keywords will have more searches than the one you were previously looking at so basically instead of going after a keyword that has a bunch of searches which is highly competitive go
after keywords that are less competitive because they have less searches but go after more of those and if you go after a bunch of those less competitive keywords the searches will start to add up and you'll eventually reach the exact number of that previously competitive keyword if not more so what you're doing so what you're doing here basically is going after several keywords around that main keyword okay but let's look at an example right now I'm going to use a tool called Uber suggest you might know it it's from Neil Patel but let's get into
it so this is the tool it's called Uber suggest just search for it and click it and here we are inside of it basically let's say you are you have already chosen your niche let's say we chose plastic surgery and we chose the city of New York City what you do is really simple you just put your keyword in here let's say you're targeting the United States you can choose it here or if you're targeting Portugal for example you can just choose Portugal of course you have to put the Portuguese keyword in but let's say
you're in you're in the United States just put your keyword here and select United States this gives you a bunch of information blah blah we don't care about that what you care about is this right here keyword ideas what this tool does if you click here view all keyword ideas you it gives you a bunch of keyword ideas you can Target so as you can see they're like a hundred more and this is what we'll use for our keyword research we just we'll just export it to CSV no thanks and let's open it up so
this is exactly what the tool gives you it gives you a list of hundreds of keywords if you pay for it it'll give you more but basically these are all you need but it'll give you a list of hundreds of keywords that you can Target as well as their search volume again there will be some keywords here that won't make much sense so for example in the Plastic Surgery Niche you'll find keywords that are directed to uh some surgeons or or clinics for example Jaeger plastic surgery I'm not sure what this one but let me
see um for example cashier plastic surgery this may be like a doctor or a specific clinic so these ones you just want to just delete them um but basically basically what you'll do is go go here and figure out the keywords that make sense for you to Target so don't Target hospitals on target you don't Target specific doctors just Target General keywords so this one won't Target as well just Target keywords for example um plus so salary will also not interested in salaries we just want keywords that for that people search in order to actually
do a plastic surgery so for example pricing this one is good I'm just going to bold out the ones that are good this one is good New York basic server you know I see this one not really we can just delete it okay okay oh best plastic surgeon I see of course New York Plastic Surgery dermatology NYC this one you can delete as well prices this is a good one this is good so as you can see basically go around and select the ones you want to Target again this is really actually really simple but
it's it's important for you to do so just don't just build a site and start uh putting out keywords over there uh in a way that doesn't make sense make a research just go on these two take out a list and now you have ideas for your for the content you'll be building just a quick something as you can see the search volume on these ones right here says zero this isn't entirely true okay it just means that they have low search volumes it's not zero but it's low and the thing I was talking to
you about before so this keyword has about 880 searches per month so plastic surgery NYC which means it's a very competitive keyword but then again if you target low competitive keywords if you sum for example all this up it will add up to maybe almost if not more than this so this is the idea here don't just Target of course you'll also Target these ones because we want to go for competitive keywords as well but also Target the least competitive keywords which will make a huge difference and will give you an advantage over people just
trying to rank for this one okay so you're also trying to rank for all these ones that have lower search volumes okay so that being said This is how we do a cure research there's also just one more thing I want to tell you about um if you go here if you go to Google and just type your main keyword in if you go all the way to the bottom Google also gives you some suggestions so some other keywords people also search for that might not be included here okay so just take that into account
for example I don't think best plastic surgery Nic was here included let me just double check yeah it wasn't it was uh it was it had 2018 after it so make sure you also go to Google and uh see what other what people are also searching for because if Google gives you this information it means that people are searching for it and that concludes how you do a QR research it's quite just quite simple but it's just a step that most people often Overlook and don't do but it will be important when you're creating the
content and when you're when we're building the site it'll be important to have a list of keywords that you can just look at it look at them and say okay so now we're targeting this okay hope this one helped and I'll see you on the next one let's talk about building links so why backlinks backlinks are a ranking factor and Google values them a lot this is known in the SEO world so you need to have backlinks linking to your site or to all your other properties and you need quality and relevant backlinks of course
there's some occasions where you are looking to build lower quality less relevant backlinks but the idea is that most of your link portfolio is compiled of quality and relevant backlinks and of course backlinks increased trust and relevance in Google's eyes now regarding the anchor text you should use to build your backlink so there's four types naked URL so this is your url of your business so yourbiz.com with a with the https without it just the yourbiz.com domain then we have branded anchors which is your business name and this is something that people often get wrong
so these count as two different ways of writing your business name so with the capital letters or without it so these are two ways of having branded anchors if you wanna if you want to diversify your anchor text rotation a little bit then of course we have the exact match anchors for example at plumber Dallas and the partial match anchors which is for example find the quality plumber in Dallas now linking structure this is this is important so let's say this is your website you have the home page you have two service Pages a contactless
page a Blog Page and then you have two product pages that are linked to from each one of these service pages so you don't want to just build links to your home page so it's good to build links to your homepage because since the homepage is connected to all of these Pages the links you build here will trickle down to all of these pages so the links you build to the home page will trickle down to all of these pages but you also want to build links to the service pages okay the contact page the
blog page so you don't just want to build links to your homepage this is a mistake that a lot of people do but you don't want to build links just to the homepage most of your links will inevitably come to the home page because it's what's most natural most links that link to a website in most of the cases are to your home page but you also want to link to your service pages into all your other pages on your website and of course these links we will be talking about in a later video but
these links could be links from citations links from your social media so for example of course your homepage website in the footer might have a link to your YouTube to the Twitter to the Facebook page so your homepage links to these social medias and these social medias link back to your homepage guest posts press releases and some other and some other backlink types we'll be talking about later on no like I said in the beginning you're looking for Quality links so no pbns no web 2.0s no non-friendly Google links that's what we're looking at for
now the first type of links are citations which are basically links from business directories these are your help your Foursquare you're being Yellow Pages hot frog and these ones allow you to uh you know and we have a video on this we have the here the citation and these allow you to have your business information and then a link back to your site which is what we want then like I mentioned above your social media profiles you want to make sure all your social media profiles are set up even if you don't use them a
lot you want to make sure you set up at least the main ones so Facebook Twitter Youtube and Instagram there's more there's LinkedIn Pinterest Tumblr there's a bunch of other social media platforms which which I understand that you most likely won't use but make sure you set them up and at least use this this for for the for linking them from your website and when you post um something on Twitter for example syndicated to Facebook and in turn so you get it to your website so let's say for example you make a Twitter you send
out to tweet this is a twit that has something about your business and the link to your home page or sorry a link to your to a Facebook post you made so now you have Twitter it links out to a Facebook post that links out to your money site okay you want to make sure you Interlink everything then another type of Link building strategy are press releases and I'm going to show you an example and what you want to do with these press releases you want to make the most out of it so you want
to make sure you embed your map this is for local SEO and to try and rank your GMB as well you want to make sure you embed your map images regarding your business you want to make sure you include your keyword in the title yours you mentioned your service area you want to include long tails versions of your keywords in the text so in the article body you want to link of course to your website and link to some trustworthy source and let me show you an example of what I mean so this is a
press release example this one's from digital journal and as you can see you have the title with your keywords in it and SEO optimized article with your keywords in it as well and then links out to your social media and on this one because this is not entirely a local business there wasn't any map embedded here but you can ask them to embed your Google my business uh map here which will again bring in more relevance to your GMB so if they can do it so make sure to ask them to include a GMB to
include your map and some images also something I want to mention is that um you see here your social media linked something you can do is use an IFTTT Network which is an if this then that Network to sort of help you out and Syndicate your social media posts across all of your older social medias so say for example and these are recipes they're called recipes and they're super easy to create but the idea here is as I was mentioning so you can create a Facebook post and then link out to Twitter what this does
is so when you post on Facebook it syndicates to Twitter it syndicates to Instagram or when you post on Instagram it tweets something so you can use IFTTT if this and that it's totally free to use IFTTT networks to help you Syndicate your social media content and help you and help spread your brand across all of the internet then we have some competitor link building this is basically where you steal all your competitors link so if you have all the links your competitors have and then some more you'll most likely be one step ahead of
them this is this is the idea with this so you can use two like hrefs sem rush and there's a bunch of tools that allow you to uh free and pay that allow you to place the URL of your competitor site on there and you can then look through all the links they have they have built so far and you can see make a list like for example an Excel sheet and see which of those links are free to create and you can either create them yourself or pay someone to do it for you or
you can look through the links that are paid for and try and get in touch with those websites and ask for the prices to get a link posted on there as well then we have local sponsorship links and charity events sponsorship links this might be a bit expensive to get but they're really really relevant because they're coming ideally from the local as it says here local sponsorship Charities or or or businesses that do events near you so these are not only powerful but relevant and and what you do to find these types of links is
you type in url column sponsorship and then your town or city names for example New York City I was looking through these ones the first one is a LinkedIn job so you need to look through them but I found one here which is a which is an organization here in New York City where you can apply to become a partner of theirs and I'm not entirely sure of this but I say that if you become a partner and help them out of course make a donation um you would appear here and of course this links
out to these sponsors website so these are really really powerful because they're relevant so this comes from a New York City domain from a New York City company so near you and then their metrics in theory so most of these will be uh trustworthy organizations with trustworthy websites and a lot of authority so most of the times these sponsorship links from Charities what and whatnot will come from strong websites and strong domains and again they give you the relevance Factor so that's how you get these uh sorts of local sponsorship links then you have guest
posts uh this is I'll make a video on this as well but you can just go on to any Marketplace five or whatever and just search for guest posts and there's a ton of people selling them that have access to to these websites but if you want to try and find them just use this as well because when you when you put your competitors links in ahrefs or simrush you'll find a bunch of links and you'll see that a lot of them will be guest posts which basically a guest post is when you get it
find a website say for example I have I own I own a dog grooming business and I find a website that talks about dogs I get in touch with the um owner of the website and I ask them how much for you to make a post on your website and then link out to mine so this is this is a guest post it's basically you get in touch with the site owner or with someone that has access to posting on their site and ask them for a quotes on posting an article on their site pretty
straightforward you can again pay someone to do it for you or find them through your competitors through analyzing your competitors using a free and or paid tool then so most of these links so citations and social media links so I think Twitter is do follow but Facebook and others are no follow and uh you're going to have a lot of links that are no follow okay but this is not necessarily bad so are no follow links bad no so because why is this so you're getting your brand name out there and Google values that a
lot so you're building up brand Authority even though the links You're Building or some of them will be no follow don't worry about it because you are building up your brand and letting Google know that your brand exists and you're spreading your brand all over the Internet so don't worry if some of the links are no follow they're also valuable and that's what I have to tell you in regards to backlinking I'll have another video on it thank you for watching and I'll see you next time alright so in this video I want to give
you a quick introduction to links and how to build your first links I want to I want you to understand what is a link okay where can you place links examples of links being built and where you can get your first links but before that I want you to understand that there are three ways of building links you have you can build them manually which is safe but slow search because you are the one choosing the places where you're getting links from so if you know the best places it will be completely safe slow because
it's a manual process and all manual process are slowly slow then you can Outsource them also Outsource your link building which is fast and safe only if you know where to buy so if you go for example on Fiverr and buy a hundred links for five dollars the quality will be trash so it's only safe to buy links and to Outsource them if you know what you're doing and I'll have a module later on the course which is just about Outsourcing so you can understand how to evaluate Sellers and how to evaluate if the links
are good or not but basically if you're paying under 10 cents per link it's probably not a good link no the last way to build links is using tools which is risky and I do not recommend some tools are GSA AC nuke which you've probably heard about but basically these are tools where you push a button and the links are built automatically this is risky and I do not recommend you use them only in the right places but again I'll have a video detailing what GSA is for example and you'll understand when to use these
uh softwares but the idea here is you need to build links manually and Outsource them if you know how to do it now I want to explain to you the types of links that exist I'm going to go I'm going to click each one of these and show you a live example but before I do so I want to explain to you what what these are so comment links it's pretty straightforward is a link on a comment of a website so imagine you have a post and someone comments and leaves a link back to the
right to their website that's a comments link I'll show you in a bit how they actually are Web 2.0 they allow you basically to create a website in a blog in a blog style so for example links from blogger from Weebly Tumblr Wix okay so these are Web 2.0 properties and then I'll show you in a bit a live example a guest post which is basically when you contact the owner of a site and ask them if they want to place your article on there so a guest post because you're acting as a guest who
wants to post on a certain website but again I'll show you a live example in a bit and I'll have several videos regarding this link Bluetooth building technique which is guest post and how to approach people and how to approach website owners to in fact post your your link over there then you have dot edun.gov links which are links from educational or governmental sites which in theory are the most powerful sites so it's quite difficult to get links from these uh these domain extensions and again I'll show you an example in a bit then we
have social media links which is again pretty straightforward it's linked from say Facebook Instagram Twitter so basically links from social platforms then we have all of these which I put together which are video links audio article image slide and slide links which are basically links from let's say video links are basically links from places where they allow you to submit your videos so YouTube Vimeo Flickr for example audio links are links from music sharing platforms so SoundCloud Spotify where you can upload the music track and then leave a link and place a link back to
your site then we have article which are PDF links basically this is these are websites that allow you to share PDFs so you can upload the PDF there with a couple of links inside of it so you're getting link juice back to your site links more or less the same thing and image links the same thing as well again I'll show you an example in a bit then we have press releases and I'll have a video uh just for them but let's just go over it a bit fast so basically a press release is when
you submit an article to a syndication service and that syndication service spreads your article across over the whole internet and if people who see the article find it interesting they can put it on their website and of course a reference where it came from which was your site this is in theory how this works but of course if you're working with a plumber for example even if you post a press release about plumbing services most likely the people who see your article will not link to it because it's quite hard to uh to get someone
interested in plumbing okay so but I'll have I'll have a video detailing how press releases work uh in the in the future in the course but for now you need to know that the press release is basically when you submit an article to a syndication platform and that's negative platform Syndicate it and shares it all over the Internet and places places it on other websites now pbn's private blog networks you've probably heard of them but basically it's where you build your own blogs and create your own network but I'll have I think I have three
or four videos detailing only pbns and explain to you what they actually are so don't worry about them now and then we have expired domain links and I'll have a video on this as well but an expired domain is basically a domain that was registered before and the person who who had it stopped paying for it so it went expired so if no one registered register that domain again so if we don't renew the domain it will be expired and what we do here is we look for domains that have expired that had high metrics
let's say for example there was a a very famous dental clinic in New York City and the guy forgot to renew his domain and the domain got expired what you would do is you you'd register that domain and then place a link on there on that site back to yours so the idea here is that those domains are extremely powerful you need to look for extremely powerful expired domains register them and then link them to your site but we'll have a video later on that and we also uh you regarding the pbns and expired domains
you combine them together so your the domains on your pbn are actually expired domains but we'll cover that in the future in a future video for now I want to do I want to take you take you along the these examples and let's first start with the comment links okay so link examples the first one I wanted to show you was uh comment link so we're here at the this blog this SEO blog and as you can see he wrote a blog post and if you scroll down to the bottom all the way to the
bottom you can see there are people leaving comments okay and it's pretty simple a um a comment link is a link from a comment so on a blog post this is a comment which is a this is a reply and he left a link on the reply so this is a comment link pretty simple I know no um Web 2.0 links like I said WordPress Weebly Wix these are all Web 2.0 properties so we have to put a link is a link from one of these properties so as you can see this is a free
WordPress blog and they have a link here oh I don't think it's here but they might have a link I'm sure they do to their website yeah so leaky gutters goes to actually this one goes to wikiHow yeah right here they have a link back to their company okay so this is a Web 2.0 a link from aweb 2.0 it's going to be WordPress Weebly Tumblr Wix Etc this was just an example now a guest post this is actually a new a Portuguese new site okay and what you do is again I'll have a letter
later on I'll have a video just on guest post because basically you get in touch with them in in this case a news article website and ask them if they can post a link on your site on their site and this is the the post they posted here and with the link back to a site and let's just see let's just check check if it's due or no follow and it is actually do follow and again I'll explain this in a bit now edu and golf links I only have here an example from another link
but as you can see this is this is a DOT edu domain we have here an article and then you'll have a link to their site which is probably somewhere here hidden okay so it's here okay so this one links back to their site okay so this is a link from an ad dot edu domain simple Now video links again like I told you YouTube video Etc all these websites allow you when you upload the video to leave a link back to your site simple then you have audio link so SoundCloud for example allows you
to upload a track and then leave a link back to your website pretty simple again now PDF links so these again are PDF sharing sites which allow you to upload your PDF and include a bunch of links inside of them and upload them to these sites okay you can also add a description but the links really come from the inside the pbn sorry inside the uh the article so if you click them you go straight to the website now image links against the same thing the same thing you put an image and you can leave
a link on the description of the image pretty simple you can use sites like Imgur and there are many others and finally uh slide links which for example SlideShare which is a pretty known platform allows you to upload slides and you can upload slides and again have links inside inside of the the slides I don't think they're clickable right here I mean I think they are I think you have to do it in full screen yeah exactly it's clickable okay so pretty straightforward these are just some of the links you can create and again I'll
have uh we are we're going to be having more detailed more detailed videos on this but um I just wanted you to know to have an overview of what types of links there are okay and again you don't you are not going just to create one link on each of these uh types of links so if you if you're talking about uh video links for example you're going to create links from YouTube Vimeo Flickr so the idea here is that you know what types of links there are and then search for platforms where you can
get these links okay and now something really important is uh the the you know something really important is the distinction between do follow and nofollow links okay so um when your site receives a link or a page on your site receives a link coming from another site that page will receive a small push in the rankings so imagine that each link we give we have pointing to our site is worth one point so basically the more points we have the higher the higher will be for this foreign so now something really important you need to
understand is the difference between do follow and no follow links so when a site so when your site receives a link or a page on your site receives a link coming from another site that page will receive a small boost in the rankings that's why we build we build links so imagine that each link that we have pointing to our site is worth worth one point basically the more points we have the higher we'll be in the rankings that's the idea so I do follow link is links that count as points as I said The
more points the better in do follow links the power is transferred from the site that is linking to us to ours on a nofollow link they don't count as points but they can help generate traffic to the site and generate and also generate Authority so for example links from Wikipedia are no follow links from Facebook are no follow but they are still important because they pass on Authority so you can ask me why I have no no why do you have no follow links because it's good to have a mixture between follow and no follow
links so that Google realizes that you're not trying to manipulate the search algorithm algorithm so you need to have a link building profile that looks natural so like I said links from Wikipedia Instagram Facebook and many other authoritative sites are all nofollow however they're still very powerful so basically in short you need a mix of two mix of do follow and no follow and I'm going to show you an example how to check if a link is do follow or no follow so to check if the link is due follow or no follow is pretty
straightforward let's just say we're here on Wikipedia and like I told you Wikipedia has no follow links actually there's zero link to a website to this uh plumber employment company which is one of the I think most famous ones in London I think yeah established in 1979. so here we go there's a link to their site but how do you check it if it's do follow or no follow simple just hover over the anchor text right click and click inspect this might be different on Windows but it won't be much different as you can see
it has a tag saying no follow it's pretty simple this is how you check if it's no follow or do follow now when it's when it's a do follow link it doesn't say do follow it just does not say no follow and I'll show you here so for example this side right here there's a link for example right here which links to an organizational website.org so again you right click it inspect and as you can see you only have no refer and no opener which are which really doesn't matter so you don't have no follow
okay so do follow link doesn't say no follow no follow link says no follow it's pretty simple and this is a good way to check if fizzling a link is do follow or no follow so Google sites I want to talk about them for a bit this is Google site it's totally free to create and this is an example and here's another example this one I own so I can I can manage and edit but as you can see it has my keywords images a bunch of text regarding the business with the keywords included of
course then it has a map embed with the driving directions this is also clickable which I can do if I view the publish site so it's usually uh Interactive you can click and you can see all of these I'll try to show you here if I can you can see all these maps have all of my websites the citations the name address and phone number but we have a video on a custom maps so yeah we'll go into this later on but we if you scroll down we can see even more articles and text the
name address and phone number again again keyword optimized they're bolded out here you can do it you can do that if you want then we have a Word document here embedded again with all of our citations as you can see here social medias again links to our website then this was a map embed from Harvard this one is no longer work then we have a video embed then we have all of our social media here and then we also link to the Google Slides I'll show you all this in just a second we also have
our posts here embedded with all of the videos again more links then we have a slide presentation here which has links inside of it in all our social media as well then we have this is a Google drawing if I'm not mistaken or a Google doc oh it's a drawing okay with which has clickable links or they used to be clickables list but I'm talking too much the idea here is that you can with this Google Search which are free to create just go to sites.google.com and you can create a free site it's totally free
to create for your business you have templates as well and what you do with this you can customize it however you want so you can put your business name here sorry and then you can build out something like this and something or something like this this one as well has images here embedded it has of course the business name it has the keyword uh scalar scattered all around here as you can see this links to the website um here it's missing the the final e um it has all of this which I can go into
for example these are images uploaded to Google with the uh name of what the business is or the actual image then we have an Google Sheets which has a Google folder folder sorry with all of these uh Google stacking inside of it so all the properties are here so the form the drawings the docs as you can see here let me show you a couple more so um this slide presentation should be also uh in here in this say Google doc yeah it's right here in this live presentation but again it's something similar to this
one down here uh down here sorry what was it yeah this one right here so this is the same same sort of thing it's the side person the presentation and what you want to do so you want to create a Google site so let me just do a quick diagram here you want to create your creator free Google site okay just by going here to sites.google.com and creating the site but you don't just want to do um business name add an image and then uh you don't just want to do uh write stuff about your
business here and a link to this site this is the bare minimum you can do with the Google site what you want to do is use all of Google's properties and Interlink them between each other that's how you can get the most power out of these Google sites and how you do that is using all the properties so this is your Google site and then you have the Google Sheets and then you have the Google Slides the Google Talks you have other site you sorry the Google drawings docs and drawings the Google forms you have
all of these Google properties that Interlink between each other and this is what's Happening Here as you can see we have the slides embedded but the slides also link out to the um Google sites so all of this is interlinked and here's a diagram that explains it barrier basically this is your money site and you have your Google site which is on a Google Drive of course with all of these uh properties that Google owns Interlink between each other the form is the presentation the PDFs the docs the drawings the sheets all of these pointing
to your site and all of them interlinked between each other and this is again what's Happening Here this is for example a Google Sheets that has links to our social media but then links again to the Google sites to Google slides to the Google Docs all of these are interlinking between each other as you can see this is another Google Docs which links to the website links to all of your other properties social media citations and again back to Google sites and back to the slides and all of that and this again is the same
thing basically you're interlinking all of this together and you also add mapping beds and video embeds and anything you can add to make it look sort of like this is what you want to do and again these are free to create on sites.google.com so this sorry this is your money site okay this is your free Google sites which points to your money site but then you have a bunch of Google's properties down here you have the Google drawings the Google Documents the Google Slides the Google forms the Google Sheets and I think that's it all
of this Interlink between each other so all these link to one another and back to each other okay in the drawings can link to slides and the slides can link to the um the sheets and the sheets linked to the the forms and the forms going to the drawing all these can enter into each other and then all of these are linked to your Google sites and of course your Google site links to all of these then you can also include your citations you can also include video embeds and map embeds which you include here
in your Google sites as well of course your citations can link to your Google sites and your Google sites can also link to your GMB sorry this is your way around so basically your Google sites will have the map embed and the viewing web and again the video embed will link to YouTube which in turn will link to your money site and the mapping bed will link to your GMB which is great which in turn eventually will link to your money site and all of these super interlinked machine will help you with the rankings and
again all of this is totally free to create of course if you want to pay someone to create something something like this for free for you just go to uh connect dot go forward slash attacking and you'll be able to get it done for free so I just want to record this quick video to let you know that you should build out this Google sites because it gives you a relevancy and it gives you trust among school because this is a Google property so you want to make sure you build out all of Google's properties
and that's basically it I'll see you in the next video so map embeds you want to embed your maps on pbns and Web 2.0 you can also send GSA links to the maps and tier 2 pbns to those same Maps like you know there's two types of maps you got the standard Maps which are the ones that appear on Google search in this case Denton's Lisbon and you can scroll through all the GMB listings and if you click each one of them you'll get the pinned location on the map and you can also share that
URL and that's the URL you get for the standard map and you can link build to that map and you should link built to that map and there you have the custom maps which allow you to go to that extra step in customizing your map adding citations to it adding your social media interlinking everything adding driving directions like you see here but you already know this in this video on just focus on link building to these two types of maps the standard ones and the custom ones and you've already seen some examples like these three
for example where you again click and have a bunch of stuff fully optimized so links out to your GMB listings to your service areas citations it has your name address phone number even has a YouTube video images so it's fully fully optimized of course the driving directions is it's optimized to an extreme extent these are just again examples okay so you've built your Google my maps Okay this is your Google my map which is the custom one where you can do uh driving directions for your business like this different places you've seen you've seen the
uh custom My Maps Okay when you click all of these they expand they have your info regarding your business they have a description they have links to your citations okay they have links to your social media as well they have your name address and phone number okay they have images so all fully optimize your Google my maps what you want to do right now is go to your Google Maps and hit share and get the embed code and then get a bunch of Web 2.0 sites a bunch of them and embed your map on there
with a niche relevant article this is what's done here I'll show you in a second so this is super simple has your keyword in the title has your keyword sprinkled out throughout the articles you can even add links to your uh site right here and of course the map embed this isn't the custom my map embed this is just your regular regular business map which is also great because it links out to your GMB map which again gives signals and Trust to Google because basically what you're doing is you're spreading out your GMB map or
your custom map doesn't matter you can do it for both you're spreading the you're spreading it out and you're having links hundreds of links sent back to your uh Maps start your GMB listing because if you click click here you'll be redirected to the GMB listing of this business of course you can also do this for videos again the uh keyword in the title keywords sprinkled out throughout here this is a long and detailed article to give relevancy and then the uh video embedded this is great to rank YouTube videos this is part of a
technique uh people do to rank YouTube videos which is one of the steps is to embed them in Web 2.0 or pbn links this is the same okay again the keyword in the title in your uh video embed over here and yeah that's basically what I want to say is to uh get these done you can get them get them done by going to uh connect.co forward slash embeds and you'll get them done right here I want to clarify something which is why you want to have the work to build out this uh somewhat complex
looking uh my maps the first reason which was the one I already mentioned is because it gives you extra relevancy because you're fully optimizing this you're interlinking them with your citations your GMB your social media your website and everything else but the main reason why you'd want to do this is because driving direction Maps when you create them we're telling Google that if someone is searching for a certain business within that area it's Google sees that your business also provides services in that same area so this makes it so if we want to create relevancy
on a certain area in rank on that area we would go to that area and create a driving direction map back to our business this basically tells Google that our business is ready to travel 10 15 miles or 20 miles to a certain area to serve a certain fine so at the end of the day these maps and these custom maps with driving directions help Google understand to which extent is your business willing to travel to your customers location to provide them with your services and why is this good because obviously you don't want your
business to only show up when people search nearby your business location if you are a plumber or an electrician or a service business that provides services to your clients to your client's house for example you want to make sure that every client in a 15 20 mile radius of your actual business location gets your business to show up when it's searching on Google so that's the main reason why you'd want to do this local relevancy to get your business to appear nearby in the 10 15 20 mile radius of the actual main location they want
to talk a bit about schema markup and first of all let me tell you what the seasonal this can benefit you and your website and your business so basically there's different types of schema I'm going to show you one which is the um which is the how-to schema as you can see here if you search for how to rank in Google after all the ads the serp that the result that most calls your attention of course is this one it has an image and a checklist a step-by-step list so these ones this one is in
second but I can assure you that this one is the one that gets the most clicks so if you click here which I already did uh this is basically the um the list okay this is the site right here which is list step one so it is a it's a how to uh guide step one has a bunch of text uh step two again text images so if you do uh inspect uh viewpage Source sorry you can see that there is actually some schema so as you can see uh you have different types of schema
this one is the organization schema which I'll show you in a bit but if you search through here you'll find uh the um sorry the uh how to schema okay this was just an example I want to show you more examples before I actually tell you how to create these types of schema because if you say have a Blog here and have a step-by-step list like this guy right here if you implement schema the code in your website you might uh get lucky I guess and have Google display your uh how to like this but
let me let's move on um other types of schema are recipe schema so if you search for rice recipes Google displays these ones and if you click here you're redirected to a website that most likely if you uh inspect the element you'll see that it has schema uh somewhere so let's let's do it and just do command F and type schema and as you can see we have schema right here okay and as you can see yeah it has the organization type which is basically a website or business and actually this is the one for
the theme I guess but if you scroll down here oh sorry you can see that there is a recipe schema suit a type recipe which is the one which is one that is available as well as here okay now again I'm gonna just gonna show you more examples because I think this is available there's event schema so say events in Portland of course you can go down here and click each one of these but these ones get a bunch of attention the idea with schema is to get your site highlighted in some way in the
Serb so you get more clicks so this is the the good thing about schema you get many more clicks the one I showed you uh for the recipe rice recipes they were like big images here so you're most most likely you're going to click the images that will take you to the article instead of scrolling down and clicking one of the Articles then um say you write best PC monitor 2022 you also have here a list schema okay so um so just like the previous one I showed you and of course all these websites get
clicks but I'm guessing this one gets many more clicks okay so the idea is to highlight your website with schema like this and sorry if I'm repeating myself uh and then another one that's FAQ schema so if you write Y is SEO important this right here is faq's human so the the the FAQ so the the questions to your the answers to your question sorry uh appear directly in the search so you don't need to click but if you do click as you can see this is the website so it has why SEO is important
as the question and the answer the question and the answer okay so and this appears directly on the serps okay so this calls more attention to this uh result and this one has it as well okay so just gonna double check if you do inspect a new page Source sorry which I already did right here you can see it has schema implemented as well okay so now you know why it's important to have schema because it in theory gets more clicks to your website how do you actually Implement schema okay so what you do is
go here there are several tools that do this this one is a good one technical ico.com you go for tools and SQL markup generator say you have for example a FAQ section or a recipe or whatever video the product there's a bunch of schema local businesses this one I think I have a video on this way if I I don't I'll record one in the future but if you have a local business you need uh you need to insert local business schema in your website okay it gets you a ton of Advantage advantages sorry now
say you want to do uh how effective FAQ page okay like the one we saw previously where the results were directly in the serps what you do is choose it right here then what you do is go to your fa FAQ page sorry so you need to have you need to have FAQ page created beforehand okay so otherwise this doesn't make sense so this right here you write the first question on your FAQ page I don't think yeah I don't have an FAQ page on my website but if I did I'll just copy the first
question here so uh let's do y is SEO important for example because it gets you more business okay but like I said this would be uh you'd have to copy exactly what your FAQ page on your website was about or if you chose for example or a recipe or whatever product event wherever it needs to be the same as you have it on your website of course otherwise it wouldn't make any sense okay so you can add more questions whatever what you do then is you copy this code and you go to um Google sorry
this is in Portuguese you go to um Google Rich results tool and you just go to the code you paste it in and you test the code and basically this tool will just double check if the tool you use to generate the schema code is in the correct format so as you can see it is so this is a good tool like I said there are several so make sure if the the one you're using uh is generates Quality quality code okay as you can see here FAQ detected uh this isn't properly uh filled out
like like I said this isn't like this looks like this looks very bad but yeah as you can see uh it's valid um so now what you do is uh you copy the code again and go to um the website and go to the Post where you did where you have the actual FAQ which I don't have and let's say this one was it I don't even know what this is but let's say this was the post with the FAQ go to text and just paste in the code and you just hit update and you're
good so now to double check if the schema was actually implemented what you do is copy that URL copy link address and you go here and paste in the URL test URL and as you can see here the FAQ schema is detected and it's valid uh yeah that's basically it this is how you would get results like like the ones I showed you before like how to do SEO this one is the um how to schema like again they're the recipe ones how to cook rice or rice recipes I think yeah so this is how
you get stuff like this okay or the FAQ one which again if you wanted to know how to cook rice most likely you would click this ones instead of doing scrolling down right here and clicking this ones okay so that's the idea behind the schema markup and how it can help you and your business something else just I guess I can mention if you want to do some business a local business scheme or organization what you do is instead of doing that on on a certain post like this you go to the at least in
WordPress you go to appearance um team editor you go to the header and you place the code inside the the body or the header either one works and yeah just that's just basically a little tip if you want to do if you want to do the um local business or organization so of course you wouldn't post it you wouldn't post that on a single post you would need to post it on the header or on the header so it goes throughout the old the whole website okay and yeah that's uh basically it so another way
to fully optimize your GMB is through the Q a section which is this one down here where you can ask questions and this also works great to optimize your website for your Niche and to become an authority in your Niche but how can you actually optimize your GMB for this section for the Q a section our goal here is to have a bunch of questions here with our keyword in them as well as answers to those same questions actually answering the question again optimized for our keywords and for our Niche but now you ask how
do we find these questions there's two ways so the first one is through searching on Google and the second one is through quora let's go over the first one first so let's say you own a plumbing business we can do for example plumbers most used tools something like that you have to think about what makes more sense for your business and some questions your uh customers ask you often so as you can see the first thing we do is go to this section that says people also ask and what you want to do is take
questions from here what plumbers carry what tools the beginner plumber need so these are all valid questions that can be on your GMB listing so for example someone might be interested in the tools that you use for your work and that might be for a number of reasons but that doesn't really matter so this is the first way you can get some ideas for Q and A's and we'll of course be talking about how after you've found these how to get some answers because of course you're not just gonna copy all the the question and
copy the answer and paste them on your GMB you're not going to want to do that so I'll teach you that in a second this is the first way again to find some cool questions the other one is through quora say we have a dental clinic and we want to put some braces on I don't know if you're aware but there's a something called Invisalign which is uh some sort of invisible braces braces let's search for that because there's also there's always a bunch of questions regarding that so how much does this line cost uh
do I really need Invisalign what is the cost um cost cost does it hurt what are the advantages of of the product the cost again um what's the cheapest type what other pros and cons so if you're creative you'll find a bunch of Q A's that actually are valuable so a bunch of questions sorry that actually are valuable so now what's the next step you have a bunch of them right here like literally infinite ones what you do is you get an extension for Chrome uh it's called Simple scraper which basically will scrape all of
these from quora just go here get the extension working scrape this website and you do add property let's do question let's use this one right here okay and let's do then answer which is this right here which is this right here okay bam then you click view results and this will give you a long list of the questions and answers as you can see five pages full of Q and A's now again you're not going to want to copy the answer in the question and paste them in your GMB you're not going to want to
do that so what you do is use a tool like Jasper which is basically a tool that allows you to create AI based content this one is paid if you want to pay for it this one's a bit better but there's also free ones for example this one r y t r dot m e and what you do is you go here create an account totally free and then you once you're in you can choose the type of use case you want the AI to generate an a text for you can select the tone let's
do casual and then let's do q a then you go to the scraped info and you grab say for example this right here and you paste it here sorry and you go right for me so after you're paste on here the answer to the question you found so this is the answer to this question is in this line really better than braces what this two also does is it generates other questions that would provide that same answer but that's not really what you're interested in what you're interested in is generating different answers because the questions
you already have the questions you can just copy them and put them in your GMB what you don't want to copy are the answers so what you do is say for example click this one right here and then go to paragraph and this will generate a complete AI uniquely generated answer for you this is exactly how you can get unique questions and answers to populate your GMB and you can of course literally copy and paste this but if you want to go that extra step you can keyword optimize them for for instance here your keyword
would be Invisalign which is already present in the answer question and the answer but say for example your keyword wasn't that prevalent in both the question and the answer you could go out and edit this for yourself to make it a bit more uh keyword optimized and this is exactly how you'd make your GMB listing stronger amongst your competition this is how you'd make your GMB listing more authoritative and thus making it rank higher in the search and I can assure you that many of your competitors aren't doing this many other competitors aren't even filling
the Q a section on their GMB so if you're doing this and going that extra step you'll be ahead of them in no time then of course what you do is you go back to your GMB listing and go to the Q a section and click on ask a question and you log in with one of your accounts ask the question post it and then log in with another Google account and answer that question because of course the person that posts the question most of the time won't answer it or I mean you could you
could do that a couple of times but it doesn't look right so just make sure you publish the questions you can publish all of them with your one account you can publish like the 10 questions with one in two accounts that doesn't really matter what matters is that the people answering the questions are actually different than the ones that ask the questions and you will want to do a five to ten so you want to populate your GMB with five to ten Q A's and uh ideally you'd want to add a couple of them like
two or three a week so three or two or three new questions and answers to your Jamie but standard you want to have at least five to ten pre-populated Q A's on your GMB adding new ones on a weekly basis is just another plus so with all of this you're just wanting to show Google that your GMB listing is active and helping clients and Google will reward you for this and of course you can use this to populate the FAQ section on your site this will give you your site extra relevancy on your Niche and
your business will eventually become the authority in your Niche so you can take these Q A's and populate the FAQ section on your website and that's it that's how you'd work to make your GMB listing fully optimized for the Q a section hey everyone in this video I'm going to show you exactly how you can take your site from loading in about five seconds to about 2 2.4 seconds this will be a complete guide on how to actually optimize the speed of your website in every single thing you need to do to get these results
it's going to be a long video but if you stick around you're gonna know exactly how you can optimize your site speed to get super Speedy load times and then you can also sell these services to your clients or on marketplaces whatever that being said let's get right into the video so the first bit of theory you need to know is that a site speed is a ranking Factor either directly or indirectly and I'll cover that in just a bit but having a quick site does in fact help with rankings and most of the sites
on the internet are not fast they are not optimized to load under 3 seconds so if you have a site that's ranking in about two one second under three seconds basically you have a huge competitive advantage over all of your competitors and just so you understand how important it is to have a PD site is say your ranking number one okay and people click on your site and it takes about 10 seconds to load what's going to happen is people that click on your site because it was number one will just go back and click
on the second result because yours is taking too long to load and if people do this over and over again the CTR the click-through rate on your website will be lower than the one in second result and in time the one in second will overtake your site in the ranking so let's just um a quick note on how important it is to have a speedy site because even though you can rank number one but because even though you're number one if your site is slow people will start clicking on the second and third results and
your site will eventually drop down the rankings but like I said the first thing you need to know is that speed is a ranking factor which is a factor that contributes to your site increase in rankings think of it as a signal you're giving Google and there's many good signals you can give Google the higher they'll rank you this signals you send to Google can be a range of things it can be links the content on your account content on your site the site speed if it's optimized for mobile if you have a social media
platforms or presence whatever there's a bunch of signals and speed is just another one and the idea is that all of these signals will add up and if you end up doing them all properly you'll eventually rank with ease now a tool we can use to do some speed analysis is GT metrics and I'll show you that in a second okay so we're here in the tool GT metrics I just put in this website um and let's see how will these two analyze our site and what it will tell us and how we can then
improve it there we go so as you can see right off the bat uh this is not looking very good um this has a bunch of information and I'll go over each one of these so first one is the page speed score it's an f and the Y slope score is a c which is not good the fully loaded time for this page is 5 Seconds which is too much time like I said if someone clicks on your site and takes too much long to load the person will go back and click on the second
result and if people do that over and over again the click-through rate for their site will be higher than yours and in turn yours will uh lower down its position in ranking so it makes for a very important thing to have a very Speedy site then the total page size is 5.3 megabytes it's too too much and I'll show you exactly how to lower that in the requests 81 requests so meaning if a person accesses your site it's asking for 81 requests which is too much and again I'll show you how to lower that down
now all the information we have down here it's a bunch of stuff in on this particular website the three things that are not optimized are these three first ones the server skill images delivery browser sketching caching and optimized images and on your site you might have minified GSS Minify JavaScript and a bunch of all these stuff on here and the plugins I'll show you and I'll tell you to install will uh optimize all these ones down below um the main ones and the ones that need most most work and manual actions are the first three
ones which is the search skill images the browser caching and the image optimization these are the ones that lead a bit more work so what is what are serve skill images this is basically reducing the image size so I'll show you here in a bit so this image right here which I'll I'm opening right now is set to 1000 by 1000 and should be 400 by 400. this is the image as you can see it's really big and if you look at on the website it shows at a much smaller size so it doesn't make
sense to have this big of an image when it should be when it's showing this small on our website so and that's the recommendation GT Matrix is doing it's basically saying your image doesn't need to be 1000 by 1000 it should be 470 by 470 because that's the size you're displaying it on your website and this will account for a reduction of almost 400 kiwis it's not much but if you do if you do this on a bunch of images you'll see it is it all will add up so what you do is go to
your site go to multimedia and go to your library click the image that he needs optimization click edit and sorry because it is in Portuguese and just go to edit image this is straightforward and already mentioned the image resize the image sorry to the recommended size on GT metrics pretty simple you do this for all the images click up late and you should be good now the image is the recommended size so again it it doesn't make sense to have big images in this case a thousand by a thousand when they're displayed at half the
size on your website and the quality as you can see this isn't lost lose didn't lose much quality so we're good and sometimes the recommendations can be a bit too much and you can lose too much quality so follow the recommendations GT metrics gives you but don't follow them to the teeth because sometimes uh you know they they can be uh too much not just doing some refresh and analyzing the site again just to see how this impacted our speed and as you can see at the return it went from an F20 and the full
little time went from 5 to 2.7 seconds in the total page size uh decreases well as you can see we're starting to see some improvements but we're not done yet this is super uh this is not good enough what we do now is do the same for these two images right here okay so the next step is lever browser caching but I'll skip this one for a second um and I'll tell you why in a second but it is optimized images um the surf scale images was in regards to uh reducing the size so the
the size of the actual image in this case optimize images is reducing the size of the file of the image as you can see we got a bunch of images to optimize and what you can do is you can download the images from your site and use some sort of software or online software to reduce the file size you can do all this manually but there's a plugin that does this all automatically for you and I'll be showing you how you can do it in just a second so as you saw that's the two pretty
simple I will cover that again in just a bit now the first step in increasing your site speed is removing unnecessary plugins only use essential plugins the more plugins you have the more space you'll take the bigger the files on your site will be the slower your site pretty simple so if we just go here to my website go to plugins as you can see every single one of these plugins is in use right now some of them need updates but every single one of them is being used right now all of them are activated
and all of them are useful for me so if you see if you have a deactivated plugin which you can just click the activate to the activated plugin if you have something that's deactivated and not in use make sure you delete it and this may seem like a small step or something really small to do but all these steps will add up and in the in the end all these little steps will make a big difference so make sure you reactivate all plugins you're not using sorry not deactivate delete so the activated plugins are the
ones you should delete then second step is you need to remove unnecessary themes most people I see have a bunch of themes installed on their site and they don't even know they have them so install only one theme because it's only because it's only possible to have one team at a time so there's no point in having more than one team installed and what most people do is that when they make changes to their site and change team for whatever reason they forget to delete the old one and this again will clutter your site with
files that are unnecessary so as you can see here I only have one theme installed I already did some optimizations here but there's only one installed and I see a lot of people that have several ones installed and only one active because of course you can only have one team active at the same time so yeah go here and double check if you have more than one thing installed if you do have it remove them and just leave the one you're currently using and that's it third is images is image optimization this is a big
one this is a big factor for slow loading speeds on your website and there's three things you need to do um the first one is go to GT metrics the second one is resize your images which on GT metrics is the Serv scale images and the third one is to convert your images from pngs to jpegs but of course there's plugins that do all this automatically for you of course there are free and paid versions of those plugins the free versions on the free versions only optimize some of the images of course the paid versions
will optimize all the images so what I recommend doing is use the plugin and then also do it manually through GT metrics to see which images are still missing optimization and I'll be swapping between slides and actually doing this so yeah all this will be explained but yeah the plugin is called smush it and like I said I'll be going over all this because I'll be swapping between slides and actually the site where I'll be actually doing this uh so yeah however there's a feature in smush it called lazy loads which basically doesn't make a
complete load of the images that are below the fold on your website and what does this mean what does it mean to be above and below the fold the fold is what shows up when you start scrolling on a site so lazy load does the full loading of the images above the fold and partial loading of the images below the fold so if you enter website and it's still loading down the fold you will see pixelated images and not fully loaded images this will make your site faster yeah because it doesn't have to load all
the images but it can be a bad thing as well it can be it can be good because we are not loading all the images at the same time like I said the site gets faster because of that it can be bad because if someone enters on your site and starts to scroll down and we'll see images with a bad resolution or not fully loaded you can have a bad impression but this is an optional uh option uh yeah it's an option but you can choose based on what you think works best for your site
but like I said it has good things and bad things so to install this plugin just go to plugins and sorry this is in Portuguese but if you know WordPress you know how to handle this just search for smush it or smush it I don't know how to pronounce it installer free it's totally free you can install it it's this one right here with a blue lady um then the setup is pretty straightforward you just click here go to go to the settings you can skip the the onboarding it's not really necessary but this is
just just checking the images and remember this is the free version not the paid one uh but because the paid one does because the paid one because the paid one does some extra stuff but you cannot do all of this manually so everything that this plugin does you can do manually this is just to help you optimize and streamline things on these options just set these two on on all of them so the first one is image size you want to set it to all the second one is automatic compression you want to set it
to on as well the third one is metadata you want to set that to on if you're using images from Google so if you're right clicking and saving an image and then uploading it to your site it will come with a bunch of metadata and active data that you don't want to that you that you want to remove before uploading so you want to do that because you can then add that metadata later on you just don't want to have all the garbage metadata that came from the image then the last one was resizing image
based on size and as you can see here on GT metrics it's only picking up for the surf skill images an image that is 1000 by 1000 which is within this range but I think I have an image on the home page which is way bigger than that one that's not showing on GT metrics so I'm just going to make sure that that image is in fact Within These maximum minimum Heights and widths and that's what I'm doing right now just gonna go here to the images I think it's this one actually go to edit
it's this one right here on the home page and if I scroll down to edit image I I can see that it is in fact 2400 by 980 which is within the resizing interval okay then you update the settings and you're practically done all the other settings are for premium users which basically either optimize the images further or optimize more images depending on the plugin so you have plugins that the free version optimizes up to 10 images and you have plugins that the free version optimize up to X megabytes and like I said all this
can be done manually you're just using a plugin because it's it makes things easier and then the images that the plugin does not optimize you can do them manually yourself so let's just wait for that to clear for that to finish and let's see what happens what happens next for our GT metrics score let's look right now we have an E and A C and our page speed was about two seconds let's see after this finishes what happens okay so I'm just now going to test this again I'm gonna run another GT metrics report and
as you can see we went from an e to a D and from 2.7 I think to 2 seconds which is an improvement we started with an F now we're on a d we started with 81 requests now we have 50. so as you can see we're slowly and gradually improving the speed of our site by optimizing in this case the images and like I said all of this can be done manually or through a plugin but I want to show you manually how we're going to optimize this image right here that GT metrics suggests
we reduce by 97 which is a lot uh but sometimes like I told you before the recommendation that tutometrics asks for is too much and that's what I'm going to test out right now so they recommend I scale it down to 20 225. and what you want to do in these cases is you want to always go or not always as a rule of thumb go for twice or 2x what the recommendation is so the recommend recommending 225 I'll do 550 okay so that's more of like a rule of thumb so your images don't get
all blurred and pixelated so let's see let's re testing as you can see we went from a d to AC pretty simple with just a quick quick optimization you'll you'll be surprised on the amount of sites that can be easily improved just like this and that's all for now in regards to serve scale images now for image optimization uh our plugin the free version did something but it's not enough as you can see here GT Matrix recommends we optimize these two images and what we do here is for example this image right here is a
PNG and what I did was convert it to a JPEG like I suggested previously in for to do this just go to uh just right in Google PNG to jpeg is there's a lot of free tools that do it and what you do is take your image and upload it as a PNG that's what I did I'm just analyzing the site again so you can see now we are uh as you can see the that score is up and that image doesn't show there anymore actually the optimized images shows down here so all the images
are optimized and the only one missing is this one right here okay which is only a seven percent reduction 2.9 and this is already at an a level so I don't think there's more things we can do so two C's uh 1.71 megabytes and now we're missing the leverage browser caching which we'll be talking about right now then we have something called a CDN and this is totally free cloudflare is a company that provides a Content delivery Network which is a CDN totally free this is basically a network that's spread out all over the world
and uses caching which is basically short-term memory to increase the speed of your site and how does it do this basically the network has our site in its memory in its cache and when someone tries to access your site instead of Google fetching the information from the hosting company so the hosting opening where your site is also at which may be far away from the location the person is searching from the network which has our site in its memory fetches the content and delivers it faster to the user because the CDN is worldwide Therefore your
site will load faster basically the person that's searching doesn't have to ask your hosting server to deliver the content because like I said if it's far away from that person it will take some time and using a CDN is the person will ask for the content to the CDN which is worldwide it has several access points and in turn your content your website will load much faster okay so what you do here is you go to cloudflare.com you sign up it's totally free you'll have this you just add your site which I already added right
here then you just click it and your site name this is just me like doing an example choose the free version confirm plan totally free again just as a quick scan of your DNS records confirm that click continue and now you have uh in this case I am hosted at GoDaddy I think or actually namecheap I don't know why I'm it's saying GoDaddy but yeah and what you do is this funds your current name servers and then gives you two new ones and what you do is go to your hosting platform in this case namecheap
go to manage and go to a place where you can change your name servers add something custom which in this case as in this case I already did but you just copy these DNS codes and these name servers sorry and paste them there pretty simple again sign up with an account click continue copy the name service it gives you and paste them on your hosting and there you have it now you have a CDN that simple also cloudflare also gives you a free SSL I think I have a video on that if I don't I'll
upload it but cloudflare gives you a free SSL certificate which is that padlock that green padlock on the top left hand corner but yeah now that your CDN is set up again super simple we're going to talk about caching now in regards to caching which is like I said the memory having caching on is good because that way when someone goes to your site it loads faster and I'll tell you a good example of caching if I ask you for example how much is three times five you know right away it's 15 you don't have
to think about it in your head and do the math you've done it so so many times in your life that you simply remember the result so so you don't have to make a mental effort to know how much is three times five and caching is basically this is when a person access a site the server that's loading the site already knows what the site is meaning you don't have to think about what the layout of the site is like so how the text and the images are arranged and you just load everything individually you
simply remember what the site looks like and you load it almost instantly so just like the result of three times five is always the same 15 the cached version of your site is always the same which makes us ask the question what if we change something on our site the caching is not permanent that is we can tell the server in how many days we wanted to create a new cached version of our site there are options to tell how many days we want to serve to Cache our site so if for example say we
change the phone number on the home page of our site if we have the option for the server to Cache every 10 days it's only in 10 days that the people who accessed our site will see the new phone number so it's good to have a cached version of your site when it's finished and you don't intend to make big changes and of course there are plugins for this which I'll be covering in a second so in regards to caching like I said a plugin does this I like the one called WP fastest cache there's
a bunch of them but this one is the one I like because it's it's straightforward and it works so you're going to want to enable basically all of these and like I said say here uh the pretty little catch okay say the mobile cache say the new post cache and like I said what is Cash basically if you have cash activated and say you have a phone number on your home page if you set if someone access your site you'll see that number say and you said and you have the cache set for 10 days
so you change the phone number on your home page that same person will only see that change in 10 days when the cash reloads okay and these options right here that's what allows the site to load faster like I said the cache is an image a snapshot of your site before and all of these the the ones say for example the new post cache what it does is automatically updates the cache when you create a new post basically you just turn on all of these if you want to go more technical just ask questions either
in the group or in the comments but just enable all these and when you hit continue you'll be prompted with this which is basically saying you have a cloud for integration and right now I'll help you and I'll guide you on how to get this working so just open this link this is all pretty straightforward but I'll take you along and go to uh CDN here on the top right and all of these are like a premium premium things you can also buy this plugin which is good Syrian then you go to cloudflare your account
you go to uh settings and go to API tokens and you just copy your Global API key there you have it copy that and paste it on here enter email and paste it in the API key hit next and you are basically done with uh all things CDN all things cloudflare all things cache and now you just make a quick Purge and let's do a ray test and and as you can see a b 2.4 seconds 36 requests 1.73 megabytes and yeah uh this is this is it so far uh we have gone from an
F score to an a score and that's pretty good if you ask me and yeah let's continue on and then we move on to hosting and you need to host your site with the quality and reliable hosting company so go for the big ones go from name sheep GoDaddy HostGator any of those big ones and there are many companies out there that have very cheap prices uh but they end up either stealing your sites or getting hacked and it's not worth the headache then after choosing one of these bigger companies you can either go for
a shared hosting plan or a dedicated hosting plan shared hosting basically means that you're sharing the resources of that server with other sites so basically on a single server there's many sites hosted which makes your site a bit slower in comparison with the dedicated server which is a server that only has your site hosted on it basically all the resources are going towards your site making it faster that said um dedicated servers are much more expensive as you can see here I think these are the pricings for HostGator so if you're just starting out at
the beginning it's not 100 necessary just go with the shared hosting and then in the future you can upgrade it if you feel like it's necessary finally all of these that I taught you today can be outsourced you don't need to know how to do any of this you can of course Outsource it and I'll leave a link in the description for this or you can just go to connect.co dash speed and I'll recommend you to the best Services I know but yeah I just like to teach you the things before you Outsource them because

to you because let's say this is your business right here most of these guys in front of you are even below you most of them don't even know what GMB posts even are let alone how to post them properly and they already taught you how to post them properly so if you're posting two-week fully optimized you'll be ahead of most of these guys so ideally you want to be posting two times a week then like we talked about the Q a you want to if you will be posting again three q and A's per week
fully optimized just like like we discussed and most likely most of these aren't doing that as well so this will be a huge Advantage it will give you a huge boost so two posts a week on your GMB three Q A's pericular GMB two photos or videos per week at least in our GMB super easy if you have a local business you can just take pictures of your team working you can just take pictures of your business your Machinery whatever it is I'm sure you can take at least one or two pictures in a full
week so you're going to want to take all of these and send it out to your GMB listing and make it an authority and make it an authority in your Niche and I can almost guarantee you that none of these guys are doing this and of course once you're number one you can is a bit on this so so this will be hard at the beginning it'll be some hard work of course you can also Outsource this to someone you can play someone to make two posts perique or three q a Streaker or all of
this per week but if you choose to do it yourself this will be like a month of work of consistent work okay but once you you're doing it and powering up your GMB like this you'll eventually be in a run of course you won't be number one just with this there's some other optimization tactics we talked about but this will give you that extra boost because none of these guys are doing it and this will give you extra relevancy and it will make your GB listing a Powerhouse Google will really evaluate because you're giving out
valuable information to Google's users so you're posting about your business or having Q A's answered or posting pictures and videos of your niche of your industry so Google really really values this so again what's your number one you can stop and ease a bit on this and of course you can measure your success through the analytics tab inside your JB panel to measure how your efforts are doing and how many post views are you getting per week you know how many photo clicks you're getting per week and this will be hard at the beginning but
once you see but once you start seeing those clicks and those views coming in I can almost assure you that you won't stop doing it so this is just a quick uh reminder of the maintenance and management that the GMB requires it can be a bit time consuming at the beginning you can of course Outsource it but if you choose not to again this will be like a month of work and then you can ease a bit on it and like I said I'm repeating myself but I can assure you that none of these guys
are doing it like you're going to be doing it two times a week three Q A's in two photos or videos let alone properly optimizing each one of these three like we talked about that's it I want to talk about CTR manipulation so click through rate manipulation and often people make a big deal out of this that you have to use a bunch of tools and a bunch of different things but in reality this is super easy and there's no need to complicate it so first of all what is CTR what is Click through manipulation
click-through rate manipulation it's basically the process of hiring a bunch of bots or people to search for your keyword then scroll down look for your business and click it thousands of times or hundreds of times depends this works this works both for Organics and for GMB listings okay the same so put on here and click here your business a bunch of times so so the process is simple people go to Google search for your keyword scroll down until you find until you find your business here it is they click it they it opens up your
website and they stay a couple of seconds on there like 60 seconds 40 to 60 seconds on there they scroll down browse around their website and then they go just like a regular visit and what this does is it tells Google that your result is most more valuable than others so say you search for dentists in NYC if more people throughout the times end up clicking on the second result then on the first eventually these will swap because Google thing so why am i showing this guy first if this is the one that gets all
the clicks so this is why click through rate is important this is why having an optimized title and Method description is important as well just like we talked about in a previous video so there's a bunch of things that you can do to improve your click-through rate things that are actually within Google's guidelines which are like the optimization of the title and The Meta description and URL and others and then there's of course manipulations you can do which should hire a bunch of people to click your result instead of the guy that's first and eventually
again if many people click this one over this one Google will swap you and pull you on top because of course Google will give priority to the site people click most and so how can you do this of course you can do it manually you can talk to your friends to do it for you or you can use software or people so there's a software there's a bunch of softwares you can use this one as you can see it's quite expensive but this is an investment and this does work click-through rate manipulation does work and
on top of all the things you did to optimize your GMB in your local site if you do a CTR on top of it manipulation it will make the difference this software is a bit expensive because there's a bunch of different features it allows you to do uh you can search from different locations nearby your area you can use credits there's a credit system it's a bit more complicated it has a bunch of features which is great this software is great or if you don't want to spend that much money you can start off by
hiring people on micro workers for example this is where this is a site where you pay like people 10 20 cents to do small and repetitive tasks for you so you hire a bunch of people here on microworkers.com you can register and post a job super super simple you would say like for example I need you to search for yeah I can even write an example here so that would be something like CTR many populations that I love the job I need privation then the description will be something like I need you to search for
your keyword here and and find my business name of the business here and then of course you also need to tell them where they should be searching from you need to be searching from location okay and you'll be using Pro again they were using proxies but you can also write it here you need to please use proxies okay and of course you can write a bunch more things here but if you write this people will understand what you need what you need it's straightforward so you need to search for your keyword and find the business
search for this location of course you click it and spend X amounts of time there and then close out of the site something like this I need 100 clicks per month that's around four or three this one three four clicks per day you can even put say for example I'd prefer the time and time zone to be GMT or whatever you you feel like it so write like a detailed description of what you what are actually the actionable steps so go here search from here search for this keyword click on this listing from this business
spend x amount of time then close so you can write sort of a job post and these these guys right here are super cheap like you can get if I'm not mistaken 10 20 cents per click or even less depends of course on the amount of clicks uh you're uh asking for and if they're using quality proxies or not uh but yeah this is a way to do it again this is the other way to do with the software which is much more expensive due to the features and the functionalities and then you can also
use something like this these guys it's sort of similar to micro workers but it has more of a panel and if you search for Google here let's do Portugal right here as you can see this is basically the thing the same thing but yeah so you can use software uh and sites like these this is again people complicate this more than it needs to be complicated it's super super easy they're softwares and there's sites like micro workers or if you or if you even Google search for CTR manipulation software or CTR manipulation Services you'll find
a bunch of services that do this for you all of them work just want to make sure that people are actually following your rules the most important being of course of course clicking your business and the location they're searching from because if you're if you have a business in New York City you don't want to have for example people from across Europe searching for your business and trying to find it because that doesn't make any sense and Google will immediately know that this is some sort of a click farm so make sure you track these
using some sort of test runs and uh yeah that's basically it CTR click-through rate manipulation again just to recap what this will do is that if you have a bunch of clicks on your website that's ranking second and if you have more clicks then the guys that's in first for a certain keyword you'll eventually outrank them and this works as well for your gmbs again super super simple a bit expensive of course this is one of the most expensive things you can do uh that actually bring in results but it's something that people talk about
and also want to I wanted to cover this in in the course uh yeah that's it okay so I want to go over the economics you can call it that for the rank and rent model so let's say we have one website that's ranking just for either there's two options that the website is ranking for one keyword or let's say 10 keywords this keyword is around 500 searches per month 500 to 2 000 searches per month and these 10 keywords are around 50 to 100 searches per month okay so this basically boils down to 500
to 1K searches per month okay okay inside this website you have multiple location Pages let's say we have three location pages one two and three and each one of these is ranking number one let's go with this example right here let's see we have 10 I guess and each one of these is ranked number one for a certain keyword let's go on the low end let's say each one of these gets 50 searches per month okay this one gets 50 this one gets 50 as well this one gets 50 searches per month as well you
have if you have more pages they all get 50 searches per month as well let's say then let's assume that out of these 50s so with three pages that's 150 searches per month let's say that if we're first around let's do 40 of the clicks go to us so that's and that's again on the low hand so that's 60 clicks per month for three pages and let's say that out of those 60 clicks only uh let's say half of the people convert so so out of all those 60 people that click and let's say this
is for example a plumbing site so out of all those people that click these Pages uh only 30 so only 50 percent actually called the business so we lose instantaneously fifty percent of the people which is not common at all but let's let's say they go to the site they don't find the colors button or they don't send an email or whatever they just disappear so 30 people actually call the business and let's say uh out of those 30 15 uh calls so we lose another sorry don't call it but convert so you lose another
15 50 sorry okay 50 so we get 15 customers with these three pages and our Niche is Plumbing but it could be something like a plastic surgery clinic where the value per lead it's much higher or a dental clinic but let's go with a somewhat lower value per lead let's do plumbing which we can adjustable check the price range for plumbing services on average it looks like it is uh let's do 300 on average we get 15 times 300 that's 4500 so that's forty five hundred dollars per month okay with just three pages okay so
what you can do now and this is and this is where the economics start to kick in is you can rent each one of these Pages for 500 bucks each so this one rents out for 500 this one as well this one as well so you're making fifteen hundred dollars a month with just one site with just three pages you can make this because you're getting them twice as much or even more so imagine that you have a bunch more pages a bunch more locations a bunch more of these he did they can even be
like 10 searches per month they don't even need to be 50 it can be like five if you have a bunch of pages with five searches per month if all if you add all of this up you'll get a bunch of searches per month and keep in mind this is in the plumbing Niche there are niches that are so much more profitable you have plastic surgery like I was saying you have dental clinics anything related to health the value probability is much much higher so I just wanted to come on here and help you visualize
how this can work and how you can you can make money with the rank and rent model so I hope you liked the video I will see you in the next one so if you're having trouble with getting a tons of spam using your the form present on your website which can be used for multiple things as scheduling a call sending an email to your business or just asking a question if you're getting a bunch of spam from Bots here's a quick way on how to fix it and before doing this I was getting a
bunch of spammy emails from Nigerian princes offering me millions of dollars and I'll show you how to fix that so if you have Elementor and I'll show you here in a second because you need to have Elementor in order for this to work and most most people nowadays build their sites with some sort of website builder and Elementary is the most popular one so this is if you're only using Elementor this will work for you you go to your contact form and add another item so you have the in this case the name email message
and you add another item this item will be a recapture V3 which is the one I have right here as you can see recaptured V3 but of course you have to set this up first you can just do this and expect it to work how you do it is you go here and go to Integrations and I'll have to blur this out but basically you click on here this will redirect you to Google and then you click V3 admin console and I'll have to blur all of this out this is pretty straightforward you should have
error button where you can click and get these codes that you can paste on here and basically what you do you paste the codes here two codes that Google will give you and hit save changes then you know when you go back to Elementor and add this new um recapture V3 item it will finally work super easy super straightforward this is how you stop getting spam on your contact form on your website I want to talk about multi-location companies say for example you are the owner of a plumbing company that provides services throughout California so
you provide services along the coast from Santa Barbara to let's say San Jose how would you structure your site in a way that you could capture all of these clients what you do is simply one of both so looking at the one on the left side the way you would optimize your URL and the inner Pages would be something like this so www.xyzcompany.com then forward slash plumber Sacramento plumber San Francisco plumber plumber Riverside so you'd include your keyword and then location and this would be location pages so on each one of these and I'll cover
that in a second what you'd cover exactly but you'd cover Plumbing for for that specific location so service then location will be the way you'd structure this then there's another way to do it which is usually done in bigger sites which is forward slash locations for Slash the location name and this way you don't benefit so much of having your service keyword in there for so for example on the one on the left you had plumber here on the one on the right you don't have the plumber keywords but uh both work maybe the one
on the left gives you a bit more relevancy in local relevancy so so it's the one I usually go with so now the example I was referring to just a second ago let's say again we're using the one on here on the left and our URL has the plumber Sacramento so service then location each one of these Pages would need to be super optimized for that specific location and when I say super optimized I mean really optimized so you go to the extent of including facts and photos and things about that location in specific so
about Sacramento in this case itself so let's start from the top of course the H1 title needs to have your keywords so service keyword then the location so plumber in Sacramento you need to have exact match anchors or long tail versions of your keywords on the first paragraph of text then of course you need to have H2 titles and H3 so one H2 multiple Edge sorry so one H1 only one H1 you don't want to confuse Google multiple H2S and multiple h3s if you want then going to the image of course you need to upload
an image that's relevant to Sacramento or Plumbing in Sacramento again the alt text needs to be plumber Sacramento and the file name of the image must also be keyword related of course the image description must also be keyword and location related of course you'll be adding several images to this page and then at the bottom or whatever you want it they can be sprinkled out throughout the text you need to include location relevant keywords or long tail versions of your keywords so in this case plumbing company in Sacramento 24 hour plumber in Sacramento Sacramento California
plumber and some others but something that's not clearly explained here is the super relevance you need to achieve so you need this page to be relevant to Sacramento itself so you need two things you need to be super relevant to Plumbing so because this is a plumbing services company you need to have the page super relevant to Plumbing but Sacramento as well like I was saying include images of Sacrament include say uh famous monument in Sacramento include facts about the location I'll link to some specific Sacramento news sources or Pages or website make sure this
is really important this page is hyper relevant to your service so in this case plumber but also hyper relevant to the location most people when they build outsides and it's normal they only build them in the content on there is related and relevant to only the service they're providing but they don't think about the relevancy of the location and this is a great way to get that location relevancy so talk about the location like I said famous monuments famous buildings famous people link out to trustworthy news sources where they maybe talk a bit more about
Sacramento mention famous people that live in Sacramento maybe the governor I don't know make sure this is Super Hyper relevant to both the location and the service and I know I've just repeated myself like 10 times but this is where important then of course the the next location the page would be exactly the same but of course you change the keywords of course you can also change the text a bit because if this like I said this page is hyper relevant to the location you'd need to change a couple of things in a test text
sorry but most of them could be uh similar the structure itself could be similar and the parts where you only and the parts where you only talk about Plumbing could be similar as well so that's how you build out a multi-location site so if you want to Target again multiple locations throughout California you do this structure either either or and then the pages would all be the same sort of this style and what are the advantages of this so the first one is that we have a single site relevant to several locations our site will
become an authority in this case throughout California this of course is directed to companies that provide services that require their workers to travel so this is not for a dentist or a plastic surgery clinic this is more for plumbers electricians drainage service companies so companies that require the business to go out to the client and the third one is that this is extremely valuable for companies that provide services in an entire city for example or area and where people do not search for service in city but service in location within City so what does this
mean instead of the person searching for a plumber Sacramento they just search for local plumber or just plumber or plumber services so don't so they don't mention the location so what Google does is that Google will recommend sites that are authoritative in that Niche and City and location and of course that provides services nearby so this is why having a multi-location site that covers a lot of areas is important because you can also grab these types of people that don't search for the location in their search how can you monetize this because you could of
course do this for your business or you can do this just as an SEO and what you do is you build a site and then build a bunch of location Pages they can all be the same you will learn for Sacramento San Francisco Riverside and as many as you want 10 20 30 page and what you can do is you can rent out these Pages individually to different businesses so so right here we have three locations across California so let me just go back so three locations across California one two three what you can do
is you can rent out each of these individual Pages oh sorry rent out each of these individual Pages pages to different businesses so you can do a pay-per-call model so you you put their number here for example the business name from Riverside the plumber the plumber phone number from Riverside here you put the Plumber's phone number from San Francisco and the plumbers company phone number from Sacramento and you'd have three unique businesses that you'd be getting them calls and they will be paying you individually for each of these pages so you'll be basically renting out
these different pages on your mostly location sites to multiple businesses and yeah these takes work because building out these multi-location pages and then renting them out takes a lot of work but there's plugins that do all of this for you and I'll show you in just a second the first one is this one right here which is the connect Rank and rent to WordPress plugin which basically allows you to do this right here so say this is the page you've built on your site it allows you to easily overlay a site on top of that
page or just a call to action button and I'll show you exactly how this works in just a second and then this one right here which is not released yet but if you go to connect.co forward slash MPG so MPG Mass page generator by the time this course is live this should already be live but it's basically a mass page generator plugin that allows you to generate all of these pages with one single click so you input you so you basically input to different locations on the software on the plugin you click a button and

one is your site and you've managed to rank it number one what you do is you using this plugin you overlay your client's site that's ranking site number 20 and all of a sudden they're ranking number one because you're basically overlaying their side on top of yours so like I was explaining prior say you have your site the multi-location site San Francisco Los Angeles San Diego San Diego sorry and in each one of these Pages you overlay different companies sites that provide services on these locations over yours remember these ones are ranking number one and
these ones are not so now when someone searches for a plumber San Diego they'll get this site right here in ranking number one but the real side that's overlaid on top of the on top of this one is this one right here so people will be seeing this not this and here's an example let me go over it with you so really quick and you can watch this video later on if you want to because it explains things more in detail so this is the page so this page right here is this one okay this
Los Angeles page is this one right here okay it has nothing but strength number one what you do is you take a site for example this one from a real company you copy the URL and you place it in here in the plugin and then you just hit publish it's updating as you can see here another page overlays the actual site on top of it okay so as you can see this is the actual page so before it was like this as you can see here in the miniature nothing really nothing related to blabbing plugin
nothing related to uh plumbers and then you overlaid their sat on top of yours again you can watch the video super simple but basically you rank your sites like this rank them and then overlay client-side clients sites on top of yours that's it regarding this video hope you enjoyed it I'll see you in the next one hey everyone today I'm going to go over a full GMB audit and I think this video will be extremely available to you because you'll be able to follow along step by step in what it takes to make a full
audit of a GMB and while you're seeing me auditing this business you'll also be able to see the things that you need to optimize with your own business or your clients business so I think this is super valuable we'll go over every single thing step by step so let's get started so the first step in auditing a GMB is get a plugin called GMB Crush so let's do it now it's free so you should get it it's for Google Chrome and I'm going to install it here from scratch oh it's actually actually already installed so
perfect so this is the first step and this is to get a quick look and feel how on how the businesses are doing so what you do is you open the plugin again it's free and you copy the business name you want to audit and you click on search now you just paste here the business name you want to audit and here it is click on the business and click search no so right off the bat you can see the categories they are using so dental clinic cosmetic dentist and this will all be given to
us in just a second basically now this plugin is evaluating the business and taking all the info from it so let's just wait a couple of seconds okay so after the analysis here's what you get so you get of course the title of the business the categories which are really valuable because you can see what your competitors are using for to for categories and for subcategories so let's say for example really quick if we're ranking let's say this one's ranking number one and we're and we're ranking down here what we can do is that we
can look at the categories and subcategories this business is using and try and replicating use the same so this is great having this look at the category so then we have everything related to review so the ratings the number of reviews their attributes then we have the business description this is what's written down here there's a description okay you can also take some insights from this so are they using their keyword in the business description and but later on we'll be we'll be doing all that this is just again to get a quick look and
feel of the GMB then we have the post count the post count of the past 90 days uh okay so what do we do now the next step is to like I was saying looking look at the business categories the subcategories and do a quick competitor analysis so just like I was saying you will look at your competitors and see what the categories they are using and try to replicate them and try to replicate them so looking at the category subcategories look at their primary primary ones from your competitors and try and copy them if
they're ranking higher than you okay so so say we're doing in order to this business right here we were we were going to look at the competitors that are ranking higher than them and look at the categories they are using okay if these two are using a certain category that we're not we're going to have to include that same category so here's a perfect example as you can see this one's right here are using their main category as dentists and the one we're auditing right now is using their main character category sorry Earth Dental Clinic
okay so this might be something we need to take into account maybe we should change our main category to dental dentist sorry and use dental clinic as a secondary category okay and this is something that you'll be able to see these small things that you'll be able to start seeing when you start auditing gmbs so reviews we have a lot of stuff regarding reviews that we need to check so first of all are the clients using photos in their reviews and on this business right here we can see that this local guy is actually leaving
photos with their reviews this is really really great and this might seem like small things and small signals but this is really important both for Google and both for the people that are checking out this business this review as you can see has much more impact than this one right here so both for the people and for the potential clients looking at through reviews and both for Google because this is an extra signal for Google because Google values businesses and that have reviews where customers took that extra step to leave a review and attach a
couple of photos as you can see right here so are the reviews by clients using photos if they are great if they're not how can we improve that how can we make our clients leave reviews with photos should we send them an email in this case after the consultation with a instruction manual on how to leave a review with a picture how can we improve this how can we make it so people start living reviews with photos of course not all the reviews have will have photos but if we can have some with photos the
better then do they have local guides leaving reviews this one right here for example is a local guide so local Guide reviews carry more weight Google loves local Guide reviews and we can see we can take a look for example at this one right here this one is actually an ad they also have a local guide review so you want to make sure you have some local Guide reviews this is something I look for in businesses in more competitive niches ideally you want to have at least one or two local Guide reviews because local guides
and people with local ads accounts are people that Google trusts more so a review from a person that Google trusts more carries a bit more weight than a regular review then how are they writing the reviews are they keyword and location optimized and we have a video solely on how to write reviews but we can do a quick uh analysis here so let's do let's read this one for example the office is beautiful dentist okay so they're mentioning dentists and the name of the dentist so they what is in here dental hygienists of course and
other keywords they're mentioning the dentist's names which is good okay okay this is good but could be a bit better so they're including some of the keywords here dentist the name of the dentist they could be including the location of the business which they're not including let me see down here this one has doctor okay but okay so this one right here is a good example as you can see dentists in New York City in NYC this is an exact match keyword for this business this is great so when the customers are living reviews are
they leaving them with a keywords optimized so dental practice dentist again keyword both keyword optimizing location optimized in New York city so so how are the customer Living reviews are they keyword and location optimized if they're not we'll need to ask them to tweak uh some of their reviews and make sure to tell them to include some of the keywords in the review so both keywords and location ideally and of course you can mention the business name that's always a plus as you can see this one down here for example it includes the business name
209 NYC Dental so it's perfect and yeah but it's not fully fully optimized there's no keywords in here there's no location so they could be a bit better in regards to review optimization this is something that's not easy to do because teaching people how to leave reviews it's it's hard but you can have like a a three-step process so so for this business in specific we could do something like after they leave their their consultation you could send send them an email saying thank you for trusting our Clinic if you enjoyed the treatment make sure
to leave us a review there's three simple steps you should follow um we'd like you to follow sorry um make sure to include our business name make sure to mention the words or the words and then in Brackets dentists on dental clinic in New York City best dental clinic or whatever and leave a five star review so something like this something really simple so that you can teach people how to live reviews fully fully optimized then most importantly because this is the most easy easiest thing to do this one is a bit hard again teaching
people is not that easy but most importantly importantly how is the business replying to reviews again ideally keyword and location included and I have here an example which will run through in a second let us just see how they are replying to reviews and I don't think they're actually replying to reviews which is really really bad so let us see no reply to reviews at all yeah so this is not good so they should be replying to reviews and why should they be replying to reviews because customers like to be replied to and we have
a video just on replying to reviews and why you should do it it's both good for Google and for the business itself because replying to reviews makes it so that other people when they're looking through your reviews they will see okay so this business actually replies to reviews and takes into account both the good reviews and the criticism so I'll trust them a bit more so all these small signals give out some more trust to both Google and to the people searching for your business but again we have a video on just that so they're
not replying to reviews they should be replying to reviews so not at all not even a single one um I'd actually wanted to give you an example first of a bad reply to a review again we have a video solely on this but uh I I want to find it one right now just so I can show you exactly what I mean so okay let's see this one right here so an amazing big big big review and um I'm not gonna read throughout all this but as you can see it's a really detailed review a
really good review this person had a really good experience and the reply is meh it's not good enough uh should be much more professional and we have again a video solely on this so I'll not dive into I won't be diving into how to actually optimize this reply right now for this business specific but I'll just tell you this is not good enough and I'll show you how to make a reply that's proper so first of all you want to introduce yourself again we also have we just we have a video fully on this exact
thing right here but I'll run through it real quick so you want to address the person and make it professional so hello in this case uh Colette thank you for the five star review me and the whole team over at and here you should include your business name so again these are all signals you're giving small signals you're giving Google for it to rank you higher so this is how you optimize review so thank you this me and the whole team over at in this case NYC sorry yeah in this case let's shoot this one
right here 209 NYC Dental the whole team at 200 incidental really appreciate appreciates it we are glad we could help you with the um dental treatment or teeth whitening for example or roof insulation roofing repair AC repair whatever it is that your Niche is in you should include the keywords in here an exact match or a long tail version of your keyword you know you're gonna of course add more text on here and make it review even more optimized this is just an example then a a call to action please spread the word thank you
the team at again in business name right here so this is how you write a optimized review not something just like we saw uh before you want to make sure it's fully optimized and not a canned pre-written reply so not just a thank you so much okay so after this we have our reviews being displayed on their website as well this is important you want to Syndicate your Google reviews to your website and let us see if they're doing that or not I assume yeah it's this one right here so are the reviews being displayed
on their website I assume they are Yep they're right here yep they're inviting their reviews so this is great this is something that's good it's a good practice they're doing it they're syndicating all the reviews to the website to a review page this is perfection so are they doing this if there are great then we move on to the GMB essential so Google gives you up to 750 words to write your business description so you want to make sure you use all of those words so are they using all those words but yeah so you
want to make sure when you are a uh creating your GMB in the description make sure to use all the words and of course is the keyword optimized let us look through here so business name the first thing right off the bat Perfection uh location with the story of the business location again okay yeah it could be a bit better they could include their main keyword in there in here so they could include they should include three or four main keywords in here so in this case I'd assume Dental Clinic New York City dentists in
NYC so this could be a bit better optimized a tiny bit so yeah that's what you want to do you want to make sure it's keyword optimized and of course location and business optimized then do they have a booking link or their contact page linked these guys right here have it so links to tab 32 where people can book an appointment so Perfection this is something you want to have then are they linking to their website this is something that depends on the niche so right here you're linking to appointments because your dental clinic you
want to book appointments but for example for a plumber or something uh something else some other business you'd link to your website of course then business hours payment methods and nap name address and phone number are they doing it of course they are so name address and phone number and business hours all fully complete so you want to make sure all this is fully filled in they don't have payments right here they do have this a health and safety not a warning but a information uh point so you want to make sure you have this
done this is this is for covid-19 and you want to make sure you have this done for two reasons the first one because at Google of course and if Google tells you you should and if Google tells you you can put it you should put it and the other one is because of people some people might not feel comfortable in going through a business that doesn't have the health and safety regulations you have to sell there so for example some people might not feel comfortable if they prior to going to the business they see that
the masks are required are not required or they're not here because people might feel safer wearing masks so it's important to have all this here to make people feel uh more comfortable with your business then of course I was mentioning the nap the nap the name Anderson phone number this must be consistent across the internet we've talked about this uh before so citations your website footer contact paid citations Etc you want to make sure that these nap the name address and phone number name address and phone number is consistent throughout the whole internet then GMB
posting and again we have videos several videos solely on GMB postings but let's do a quick analysis so first one GMB posts are they posting the GMP posts so this business isn't actually posting any GMB posts let me just double check right here they actually aren't doing any GMB post which is a red flag you should be doing gme posts let me try and find one that's actually doing some posts okay so this one is doing some posts as you can see from the bottom here this this one was posted six days ago so they're
filling out their GMB posts and this is really important again in the videos we have regarding GMB posts we talk about why this is important how to do it how to fully optimize those posts so it's a red flag for that other business not having gme posts so already posting several times a week are they fully optimized are they so are they linking to their site citations are they interlinked between each other so are the posts interlinked between each other are they linking two citations to to everywhere where you have a presence online do they
have the keywords in the in the in the description do they have the business name do they have the photo certain business name in the photo of the post so again we have a video fully detailing how to optimize these so I'm not going to go over all them right now but this is a really important sorry when you're doing an audit you want to make sure they they are posting gmbs and with what frequency then again the covid-19 related posts already warning uh Google allows you to make a GMB posts regarding the covid-19 and
restrictions you have with your business or regulations this is important to to include again both to make people feel comfortable and tell Google uh what's your stance in regards to kovit and the health and safety issues which I don't think at least recently they they have it right here if I can do view all I'm sure I can find a covid-19 related post down here um yeah not right now but inside your GMB you can make a covid-19 specific related post because you can make generic posts you can make product posts you can make event
posts and you can also make a covid-19 related post so you want to make sure you do that one then business photos and videos okay so quick issue I just recorded all this right here and actually I wasn't recording so I'll go over all this once again no worries let's do it from the start I was on business photos and videos so I hope this is recording right now sorry about that uh okay business photos and videos so you want to make sure the business is posting photos and videos so are they actually posting them
with how much is the frequency and are they stock photos or not so if we go over to this business right here and we check for the photos let's just do this we click here more photos we can see this business as actually a bunch of photos they have team photos they have photos of their installation so the reception the actual inference the the office the doctor's office the team so this is this is a really great job and I don't think any of these are actually stock photos at least they don't look like them
they don't look like it these ones are yeah this one's the only stock photo I can see here uh okay no more stock photos this is this is great these ones maybe with this Watermark maybe not I don't think so so yeah these guys are doing a great job so they're playing a bunch of photos as you can see here A bunch of bunch of photos so that's a good thing to have so then are they stock photos they're not so Perfecto uh with how much frequency we can see that by going to the latest
and as you can see here this one's from February 2022 sorry so this one is from this month uh so yeah that's just perfect so you want to look at the photos and videos I don't think they're actually posting any videos so that's a downside I could post some videos because if Google gives you the options to post photos and videos you want to make sure to to post both so yeah moving on to business name this is actually a big one um but I want to go over this right now so business name what
you're gonna notice is that some businesses actually keyword stuff in their business title and what does this mean so if we go here to this dentist again so NYC dentist um we can see that actually none of these are keyword stuffing so what does this mean none of these are all of these business names are actually their business names so Barney Smith Dental 209 NYC Dental NYC Dental professional this maybe maybe not NYC College gender City so all of these so Advanced Dental Arts NYC Central Park West industry NYC small design so all of these
are actually real business names so LaBelle NYC Dentistry these are all real business names I know I want to show you an example of keyword stuffing in the business name in the business title and I'll explain you why in a second why this is important so if we go here for example plumber Dallas we can see uh tolerance and sun is Plumbing LLC slate Plumbing Road router plumbing and water cleanup release Family Plumbing so some of these are actually actual business names but if we look at this one that I have selected here you can
see that you have the actual business name here Tribeca Plumbing Inc and then you have some this is a perfect example you have keyword stuff right here so local and trusted plumber in Dallas if you have location and keywords so this is a perfect example of keyword stuffing in the business all this right here is keyword stuffing this is the business name all this right here is keyword stuffing as you can see local interested plumbering Dallas so most likely this business isn't called tribeco Plumbing Inc local interested plumber in Dallas this is a perfect example
of keyword stuffing and it is against Google's terms of service but if your business name is actually called that you don't need to worry but like I said most likely this guy's business isn't called all of this with the keywords and location stuff right here but what you need to know is that these businesses usually rank higher because they have the keyword in the title and it's not just because they have the keyword in the title which it's just another signal they're giving Google that they are actually a plumber in Dallas for example here but
they usually have higher CTR so click-through rates because when someone searches for a plum plumber in Dallas for example if they see a result where the keyword is actually in the results so the keyword they search for is actually in front of their eyes in a certain result they're most more likely to click that result instead of this one that's first for example so it's best for Google it's Google Google actually ranks your business higher if you have the keyword in the title and people often click your uh listing because they have the keyword they
search for exactly in your business title and you can do this at your own risk and it can go wrong it can go wrong yes it can go wrong because people can report you to Google and if your listing gets suspended you will have some trouble reinstating it in the time you lose and in waste trying to get your listing back is time and money that you lose and clients that you lose uh with that can't click your listing because it's not there so you'll be losing time and money um but it depends heavily on
the niche so more competitive niches will have more people and more competitors reporting each other because competitors do your competitors will report you and try to out outsmart you so if if if for example say I was this guy right here and I saw that hey wait up what are these guys doing their their business name is not local interested Plumbing in Dallas I'm gonna report them so this happens it depends on the niche you're getting more competitive ones people report each other more times but not only it depends on the niche it depends on
the markets as well and this is more of a script for myself but it's it's good for you to understand my train of thought but here in Europe people don't usually bother reporting other businesses but I've heard that in the USA it happens more often and now some people are very cautious of actually using this tactic of using an exact match anchor in their business name as their GMB so of doing this something like this the only ones doing it of course are the ones in which their business name is actual is the actual keyword
so I doubt it that this is actually their business name so Tribeca Plumbing Inc local interested plumber in Dallas so their keyword is right here I doubted that this is actually their business name but if it is great for them um then this ties in with my next point so there are some businesses actually right now that are purposely changing their legal names to have their GMB name in the title and it works so these guys might have changed their their legal name I don't know who knows and it some people are actually doing this
in any and it works um and I want to finalize this by saying that having the keyword in your GMB name and the location so keyword location put in Dallas for example is heavily does heavily influence the rankings of your GMB so let's talk about this one in a second but these two alone will heavily heavily heavily influence the rankings of your GMB I've tried this several times with several clients and when adding your keyword to your GMB you get so much more calls you get tired ranked so much higher so it works it's risky
but it works and having an EMD so an exact match domain so for example if this guy's domain was was for example uh instead of tribeco plumbing.com it was plumber in dallas.com this makes it even easier to rank both in organic and in the GMB uh Snack Pack so these three combined are like a super weapon these heavily heavily heavy influencer rankings I can almost tell you that if you create a GMB fully optimize it like I told you uh have the keyword in the title plus a location and they have an exact match domain
there's no one stopping you is it becomes super super easy of course it's risky because of what I said in the beginning but you can do it and people actually do it then moving on to business q a so we have again videos on all of these but I want to go over this again right here because we're doing this quick audit so let's go back to this one right here as you can see you have the questions and answers um section right here let's do a quick analysis and for some reason I can't click
it let's do a refresh okay so these are the Q a so they have maybe 10 and yeah they're actually answering the questions which is it's great but they're not answering the questions in an optimized way so again you have to look at if they have the actual section which they have right and if it is unoptimized to any section so are they fully optimizing their replies with keywords and locations in this case they're not so for example someone asked which dentist is a neural surgeon please and they just said hi this is the dentist
and linked out to the page so this is not fully optimized they don't even mention the business name nor the keywords anywhere and again I'll have I have a video just solely on this on how to optimize your q a so if you have any questions on that go over there and watch the video it's really in-depth and then how many Q A's are they posting per week and then are they syndicating them to their website so these guys aren't posting that many per week actually these are really really old three years ago two years
ago three years ago and this one was um eight months ago so that's not not good they should be posting more and more and more and again I go over on how many you should be posting a week in the in the video about optimizing optimizing q a sections but let's just out of curiosity look at their website and see if they're actually syndicating the Q and A's to their website so they have internet FAQ section okay so they have a they have a bunch of questions they have like one two three four five six
seven eight nine ten they have about 20 I'd say 20 questions and yeah they have about 20 questions right here and on their GMB they only have 10. so this is not good this is this could be improved by a lot so why do they have 20 plus questions on their website but then they only have 10 right here so they could be syndicating them through here and this one is to the website so that's yet another thing you should do it's easier section on their website and is it well optimized uh which in this
case it is not and that's basically it regarding a the GMB full audit again I have videos on each one of these so if you have questions regarding q and A's and how to optimize them fully how many should post a week where to find ideas for the Q A's uh everything regarding business Q A's videos on those GMB postings as well the essentials as well reviews as well I have a ton of videos on reviews uh so this is just like a a overview on how to optimize and do a GMB audit which I
