A Rainy Night in A Treehouse: A Sleepy Bedtime Story

hello my friend welcome to your sleep story my name is Steven Dalton I'm an Irish Storyteller and it's my great privilege to be the voice that you listen to as you go to sleep tonight tonight you will be able to transport yourself to a beautiful far away place the wonderful island of Bali where you will will start your evening on the beach and end your evening sleeping in a magnificent treehouse in the rainforest you can be with a loved one or a pet or on your own that's up to you just know that you will

tonight and beneath all of that feel the support of the earth of our home feel the constant of it and as you become aware of that support holding you tonight see if you can let go a little more now soften a little more now ease into this moment a little more now nine you are safe allow my voice to be an anchor of safety tonight to be a [Music] friend know that my voice will only take you to Safe places to places where you will find rest to places where you can let go of everything

to places that allow you to be in a state of calm and peace eight feel into your body now where are you still holding where are you still feeling tension or even [Music] pain maybe it's in your feet maybe in your lower [Music] legs maybe it's in your belly or in your chest or maybe you're like me and you hold it all in your face wherever you're holding see if you can find some release now seven the day is done whatever has been has been whatever will be will be but all you have right now

is now and the more you can settle into this now the more you can enjoy and find peace in this moment so if there are thoughts arriving know that they are a part of being a human being and they will come and they will go and when they come watch them go like leaves on a moonlit River or clouds passing in a Starlit Sky six this is your moment this is your [Music] time you have nowhere to be now nowhere to [Music] go nothing to do allow that fact to enable you to sink deeper into

this moment five perhaps allow a little gratitude now gratitude for the simple things for the shelter you have tonight for the breath in your body for those who you care about and who care about [Music] you [Music] for peace lives within you and is always there waiting to be seen waiting to be [Music] found waiting to be felt it is a part of you a constant friend see if you can find that friend tonight three begin to engage with your imagination now begin to see yourself on the most beautiful beach you have ever found yourself

on this is a place where you can truly let go this is a place far away from all that you know two checking in with your body one more time now it has worked hard for you today it's time to give it rest [Music] and one completely letting go now as I tell you tonight's sleep Story the warm sand kados your feet as you stand on the shores of a beach in baliy the temperature has cooled it's very pleasant now compared to the heat of midday a long day full of memories lies behind you you

ate dinner explored your surroundings you met the locals and you are now simply enjoying the last rays of sun but the most exciting part of the day is probably still ahead of you because you're going to spend the night in a very special and luxurious Treehouse one that's in the midst of the beautiful jungles of barley high in the Treetops and you can do so either alone or with a loved one or a friend or your pet I leave that up to you but now back to the here and now this beach is beautiful the

Panorama stretches like a postcard brought to life to your right the coastline curves gently bordered by clusters of volcanic rock that jut dramatically into the sea waves Crush softly against these formations sending up tiny sprays of mist that catch the Light and Shimmer like diamonds to your left the landscape transforms into a lush green tapestry towering palm trees sway gracefully in the breeze further behind the dense jungle Rises like a natural wall towering trees colorful blossoms and thick vines in the distance you can make out the faint silhouette of Barley's Hills with their peaks that

are shrouded in a hazy Mist that hints at the the Island's volcanic Origins the steady sounds of the Waves envelop you along with the rather soft murmur of the other people the foam of the waves is tracing delicate patterns on the shore before retreating back into the crystal clear water and by Crystal Clear I mean Crystal Clear perhaps one of the most crystal clear waters you could imagine the ocean expands endlessly a gradient of turquoise and deep Sapphire a light playful Breeze brushes your hair and with it comes the faint Aroma of sweet frangi Pani

flowers from the Lush vegetation to your left and the vegetation here is truly stunning Bali is incredibly biodiverse you can make out coconut palms for example banana trees and vibrant flowering shrubs like a biscus the climate here is warm and humid typical of Barley's tropical environment the Island's wet season from November to March ensures the lushness of the landscape with regular rainfall nourishing the vegetation you've heard that there's probably going to be rain this night but so far there are only a few clouds on the horizon and either way the rain here is usually not

harsh or stormy it's a gentle steady full that revitalizes the Earth and fills the air with the fresh scent of wet leaves and soil the rain the weather and nature it all follows a natural cycle and everything is in harmony here you begin to walk by the shoreline this moment is beautiful alive grounding and you perceive this place with all of your senses and as you do you find yourself surrounded by human life families laugh together under colorful umbrellas While others walk hand in hand their Footprints trailing behind them on the damp sand not far

from you a group of children build a sand castle and their joyous shouts blend with the steady pulse of the ocean a small surf School sits just a short walkway and its straw thatched Huts exude a welcoming charm the scene feels alive as you gaze out to the Horizon you might want to begin to think of your destination for the night the giant Treehouse it's a place made not just for escape but for connection a space where life slows down and the simple joys of human presence come into Focus The Treehouse belongs to WAN a

local Balan host earlier he welcomed you to his village with a refreshing coconut drink and a brief history of the land he spoke of how the Treehouse was built by hand a labor of love shared between him his family and friends from the village it's more than just wood and Nails why an had said said it's a place to feel alive to remember the world is full of beauty as you walk along the beach you might want to reflect on his words because tonight you will experience what he meant as the sun begins its final

descent painting the sky with streaks of Amber and Crimson you might feel a gentle nudge to move forward Wan's directions echo in your mind follow the path along the river once you leave the beach it will guide you to the tree house you take one last look at the sea where the Horizon seems to dissolve into the sky and then turn towards The Verdant jungle that lies beyond the path is well trodden but still feels like a secret winding ing gently through tall grasses and Scattered clusters of wild flowers the chutter of the waves is

replaced by the Symphony of the forest the hum of crickets the occasional rustle of leaves as a small animal darts by and the distance lilting cores of exotic [Music] birds along the way you pass a few locals returning to their Village after a day's work they greet you with warm smiles and a casual wave their faces are radiant with a simple joy that seems contagious you can't help but smile back one older man pauses to point out a rare flower blooming just off the path his words are a mix of English and the soft Cadence

of Banes it's for luck he says with a chuckle before continuing on his way the forest deepens as you continue and the sounds of human life Fade Into the background soon you reach a small wooden sign etched with the word Wan and an arrow pointing up a gentle incline you follow the trail as it winds upward the Setting Sun filters through the canopy in Golden shards casting intricate patterns on the ground and then you see it the Treehouse stands proudly in a natural clearing perched high in a massive banan tree its wooden structure seems to

meld with the tree as if it has always been there lanterns glow softly along the [Music] railings and the sight takes your breath away Wan is waiting for you at the base of the tree his cheerful grin stretches wide as he waves you over welcome to your home for tonight he says come let me show you your sanctuary [Music] he leads you up a winding staircase that spirals around the tree trunk each step feels like an Ascent into another [Music] world further removed from the everyday and closer to something Timeless and pure at the top

Wan pushes open a wooden door to reveal the interior of the Treehouse The Treehouse is a masterpiece of design combining The Rustic charm of its wooden structure with modern luxuries that feel perfectly in tune with its natural Sur [Music] surroundings the main living area is spacious yet cozy with high ceilings that reveal the intricate beams supporting the thatched roof the walls are a blend of natural bamboo and Polished teak small Det details catch your eye delicate carvings of jungle animals Adorn the wooden structure and woven rugs in earthy tones at a touch of softness underf

foot you put your back back onto the sofa and continue to look around with Wan he leads you to the balcony which is perhaps the most captivating part of the Treehouse it wraps around the entire structure offering a 360° view of the Jungle canopy here the sights and sounds of the rainforest come alive leaves rustling in the breeze birds flitting from Branch to branch and the occasional call of a monkey echoing through the trees a pair of white cushioned chairs sit in one corner with a small dining table and crafted from a single slab of

acacia wood and not far away there's even a Hummock this seems perfect for gazing out at the Horizon while sipping a warm drink as night Embraces in its full Beauty you'll hear the jungle sing tonight Wan says with a knowing smile it's a good song one that reminds us we're not alone and perhaps there's going to be a nice addition to that song he points to the clouds up in the night [Music] sky after helping you settle in Wan leaves you on your own you take a deep breath on the balcony you take in this

Majestic panorama [Music] the world stretches out before you the jungle hums with nocturnal energy and perhaps you feel this sense of calm as though the Treehouse itself is cradling you in its Embrace when you look up [Music] you can see a whole other floor and yet another balcony but now may seem like a good time to just ground yourself and relax a little you step back into the Treehouse and head to the compact yet Charming kitchen the granite countertop feels cool beneath your hands as you reach for the small cattle the sound of water pouring

fills the space and as the kettle heats up you take a moment to admire the kitchen thought thoughtful [Music] design the open shelves are stocked with handcrafted ceramic mugs with earthy [Music] tones and jars filled with loose leaf tea Jasmine lemongrass and [Music] ginger all inviting you to pour [Music] and choose your favorite you select a soothing Jasmine blend scooping a small portion into a tea infuser before pouring the steaming water over it the rich floral Aroma Rises instantly filling the air with its calming Essence cradling the warm mug in your hands you return to

the balcony drawn by the promise of the open air and the gentle sway of the jungle out on the balcony you sink into the wide cushioned [Music] sofa that sits in the corner the woven texture of the cushions and the softness of the fabric create a perfect cocoon you set the mug down on a low wooden table nearby letting it cool slightly as you stretch out and allow yourself to truly relax the lanterns hanging along the railing cast a Golden [Music] Glow their light mingling with the Silvery Sheen of moonlight [Music] the tea is the

perfect temperature now you bring the cup to your lips the first sip warming you from the inside [Music] out the flavors are delicate and grounding a perfect match with a tranquil scene before you [Music] the distant waterfall adds a soothing Rhythm to the evening its murmur blending seamlessly with the occasional rustle of leaves and the cause of nocturnal creatures you let your thoughts drift untangling themselves naturally as you sit there present in the [Music] moment the jungle feels alive around you but in a way that brings Comfort rather than overwhelm you take another sip feeling

your body sink further into the sofa as though the Treehouse itself is holding you gently in its Embrace this is a moment of pure Stillness where time seems to stretch endlessly allowing you to Simply Be You Close Your Eyes you arrive you notice your breathing in and out [Music] out [Music] in and out some time has passed and you hear a few raindrops falling onto the roof and leaves at first it's just a few drops but then the rain grows a little stronger creating a mysterious but yet very soothing atmosphere the jungle sounds have mostly

faded but what remains is the monotonous rain the day has been long and fulfilling and with the rain you feel a little tired and so you step into the bathroom to begin winding down the sliding bamboo door Glides open smoothly revealing a space that feels both luxurious and connected to Nature the large Stone tiled shower enclosed by glass panels invites you in as you turn on the water a warm Cascade flows over you washing away the day this is beautiful taking a shower in warmth and safety as it rains outside a soothing feeling a feeling

that makes you feel protected beyond the glass the jungle canopy stretches out and you can see gentle rain falling nearby the small private saer beckons the earthy Aroma of Cedarwood fills the air as you step inside the warmth envelops you easing any lingering tensions in your muscles for a few moments you sit quietly breathing deeply and feeling your body relax further with each passing second the heat the soft crackle of the soreness Stones the occasional Whisper of the Jungle outside create an atmosphere of utter Tranquility refreshed and calm you finish your nightly routine and step

back into the main living area the soft glow of the L lanterns highlights the inviting warmth of the Treehouse you find the spiral staircase made of dark polished wood and decide to head to the Upper Floor each step feels deliberate the staircase curving gracefully around the massive trunk of the ban tree at the top the bedroom greets you with a quiet welcoming charm the centerpiece is a king-sized bed draped in flowing white curtains their gentle sway catching the faintest jungle Breeze the Linens feel impossibly soft their texture promising rest full sleep large windows in circle
