Lord Jesus, Hold Me in Your Loving Arms and Lead Me with Your Unfailing Grace | Morning Prayer

before we pray let's listen to God's word and then we'll pray together the Apostle Paul shares a deeply personal and beautiful message of gratitude and transformation in 1 Timothy 1: 12-17 I thank Christ Jesus our lord who has given me strength that he considered me trustworthy appointing me to his service even though I was once a blasphemer a persecutor and a violent man I was shown Mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief the grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus here

is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance Christ Jesus came into the world to save Sinners of whom I am the worst but for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me the worst of sinners Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life now to the king Eternal Immortal invisible the only God be honor and Glory forever and ever amen In this passage Paul opens his heart to show us just how grateful he is to God he acknowledges Jesus as

the source of his strength and expresses How Deeply honored he feels to be chosen to serve God this gratitude didn't come from having a perfect past quite the opposite Paul remembers who he once was and Marvels that despite it all Jesus not only forgave him but trusted him with a mission like Paul you and I can turn to God recognizing that our very strength comes from him we can be assured that God's calling for us is active and purposeful if we're alive today breathing and moving forward then there is a reason God has us here

we may sometimes doubt our Worth or wonder if we're too flawed but God sees our potential and has a purpose specifically meant for each of us now let us take this moment to pray together dear Lord Jesus thank you for the incredible Grace and boundless love you pour over me and my family your love reaches us even when we feel unworthy and you constantly show us a kindness we can't possibly repay Your Grace is a precious gift given freely even when we fall short I am humbled Lord by How Deeply you care for us and

by how you continue to bless us in ways we don't even realize even though I can never give back to you what you have given to me I thank you with all my heart for your mercy for holding me close and for covering me with your presence today I ask you to Wrap Me In Your Arms Of Love let me feel the warmth of your embrace the comfort of knowing I'm safe in your care protect my family and those I hold dear keep them secure in your love and please Lord guide every decision every thought

and every step I take I want you to be my leader to show me the way in all I do for I know that only in following you will I find true peace help me Jesus to Walk by faith and not by what I see in moments of Doubt or fear remind me to place my trust in you I know that life will not always be easy there will be times of struggle and hardship yet even in those times you are my comfort and my guide help me to stay under your protection trusting that you

are with me lead me to walk in your wisdom to make choices that honor you and bring me closer to your will let your word be my constant guide light for my path so that I may live in a way that aligns with your truth I don't expect a life without difficulties but I'm deeply grateful that you are my helper my comfort and my strength every time I am in need I know that I can turn to you and you will answer me I trust that when I call upon your name you will be there

Lifting me up and delivering me from my struggles you are my everpresent help and I am thankful beyond words for your faithful presence Lord Jesus as I draw near to you I invite you to draw near to me I need your presence in my life not just in times of trouble but in every moment you are The Giver of all good things and you have blessed me with so much joy that fills my heart Grace that I could never earn and victories that I know are only possible through your power thank you for the joy

that cannot be EXP explained a joy that stays with me even in hard times thank you for favor I did not work for but received because of your love you give me strength to overcome to rise above each Challenge and difficulty that comes my way with you by my side Lord I know that I can face whatever lies ahead through Christ who strengthens me I have the courage and power to stand firm I am so grateful for your protection your provision and your unwavering support you are my keeper my provider and my rock I am

never alone because you are always with me watching over me with love and care Lord Jesus let my life be filled with your goodness your love and your peace I ask that my reality would be a reflection of your blessings I give you all my sorrows all my weaknesses and I ask that you replace them with your strength your joy and your hope fill every empty Place Within Me Lord with your presence heal any hurt mend any Brokenness and make me whole again may I find my deepest satisfaction in you and in the treasures of

your word let your truth be my Foundation a source of strength and comfort that never fails let me find fulfillment not in what the world offers but in the richness of knowing you teach me to seek you first to be content in your love and to find peace in your promises I pray for a peace that goes beyond anything I can understand a peace that calms my heart and reassures my soul I declare that this peace belongs to me given by you and I receive it in the name of Jesus even when I cannot see

every threat every challenge or every hardship I am confident that you are there defending me you have kept me safe so many times and I'm so thankful for your protection I am grateful for every blessing the breath in my lungs the strength in my body the joy that fills my heart these gifts are proof of your love and mercy signs of your hand upon my life you are my strength when I am weak my shield when I feel vulnerable my Defender when I'm under attack and my deliverer when I need saving I am forever grateful

to you Lord for being my refuge and my strength give me courage Lord and a faith that stands strong help me to be bold in my trust in you to have confidence that you are with me remove any doubts or fears that may try to take root in my heart strengthen my faith so that I can hold on to you no matter what comes my way I praise you for my family and loved ones and I ask that you continue to bless us in all that we do protect us guide us and help us to

walk in your favor I speak victory over every Challenge and every obstacle I may face today renew my strength Lord as I wait upon you and help me to trust in your timing knowing that you are always working for my good your word Lord is truth and life there is power in every word you have SP spoken and I want to carry it within me may your Holy Spirit move in my heart reminding me to study and meditate on your word which is living and active thank you for the promises that you have made promises
