with will rescue you the Ferocious beasts roared as their hungry eyes were fixed on Daniel the pit was sealed with the king's signate ring and with the signate Ring of his Nobles so that nothing could be changed with regards to Daniel but Daniel's Faith remained unshaken he trusted in God to rescue him the king then went back to his Palace he passed the night fasting and disallowed any form of entertainment and he could not sleep that night as Daniel lay among the Lions an incredible Miracle unfolded God shut the Lion's mouths sparing Daniel's life the
next morning King Darius rushed to the den fearing the worst as he called out to Daniel with a sad voice the king asked oh Daniel servant of the Living God has your God whom you are continually serving been able to rescue you from the Lions to his amazement Daniel emerged unharmed as he replied oh King may you live on forever my God sent his Angel and shut the mouth of the Lions and they have not harmed me for I was found innocent before him nor have I done any wrong to you O King The King
was overjoyed and he commanded that Daniel be lifted up out of the pit when Daniel was brought out of the pit he was completely unharmed because he had trusted in his God at this the king gave an order and the men who had accused Daniel were brought and they were thrown into the lion's den along with their sons and wives the Lions devoured them crushing their bones on their arrival into the pit the king went ahead to issue a decree that in every domain of his kingdom people are to tremble in fear before the god
