so Magnus starts with the normal and an opening of c4 and the most normal move is d5 but a very common move also is f6 which is what then Feingold decided to play and then it doesn't really matter unless there's a threat but it doesn't really matter if Magnus decides to the first go with the bishop or the knight or or even they or even this pawn which eventually you do want to move so he decides to go first with the knight times three and very common to move d5 and their shop like I mentioned
and then Ben fungal decides to respond also with his own Bishop which is a very calm move also and and you get the the protection of both of these pieces here with this move also enabling this bishop this full beautiful diagonal which is the main reason that he played that you also want to play this up on giving this Queen the full diagnosis and I have two full diagonals common responses east six die giving this diagonal as a responsible and here's the first kind of strange or or out of the ordinary by madness it's it's
moving here pawn to c4 and the idea with moving your pathi c3 is enabling the two diagonals and you know maybe protecting this pawn it's things that a big a bit messy and there's many threats but for the most part is just enabling two diagonals and ND a less I mean main purpose moving it one more like Magnus stood to the c-4 is pretty interesting with with with the pawn being here the only downside is at this Knight is trapped it can't having a light on either the a or the H file is very so
you'd have to move it here which is what you do tend to do in the ones in system which is the one and in my opinion only dark fold of the learning system so moving the the pawn one more up like Magnus played it is very smart although sure you can capture but it's if you capture back not only are you trading an aside pond for a central pawn which is a good trade for Magnus but also you're you're enabling your your Bishop immediate instead of having to I guess waste another move so all in
all very smart from here from black it's it's pretty interesting what I've been fine gold play you just captured on the night something you don't expect to see in fact Baha'i by moving this pawn you didn't even realize that this then you open up the night to being captured because you don't you don't expect that to happen but he did and now you have two options you can either capture with the rook or the Coonan I prefer capturing with the Queen which is what Magnus played and the reason for that is that the next move
that Ben Feingold is is thinking of is moving Bishop to b4 giving check and with the Queen here instead of here the King can move up or down or care staying down and I prefer that the King especially in the early game to be on the lower the lower on the first row which is why the movies queen instead of the rook is good because as you move the rook as I'll show you then this forces you to go up here the reason that either way I'll show you what the Queen the reason that you're
not going to the reason that you're not going to move it move your your night to protect the king is now this this move right here Knight to e4 is this absolutely that the knight blocks the spawn from from moving forward and which means that this Bishop can never protect it and now you have two threats to this and so even if you I don't know move a queen here to try to protect it I mean it's just it's just it's just not not gonna be worth it for you to kill it so see you
lose the night which is not what you want which is why it's very smart to play so it's movie came out the way the game continued Bishop to d6 and here comes the second kind of not that clear move that Magnus played something that you typically you wouldn't do in this position you have three options two that are in my opinion the more commonly played the Queen either capture or you can draw back the reason that I think the best move is dropping back is now if you were to capture and then you can eat
with this pawn opening up this age five and the reason that that's so critical is because you can't castle anymore meaning your king will never be in this with these is this square so now you just have an easy way to move your your together broke into the game pretty good and so if you move your Bishop here and they decide to castle this side then you have double threats on this square um anyways Magnus he played me you didn't play a capturing or or retrieving he played a g5 pinning the night which is not
necessarily a bad news it's just not one you typically see been Feingold ignores this threat as it really doesn't pose much of a threat if you capture you capture and yes now you have to pawn but you also have this nice lift for the for the rookies yes we needed so by decides to push c5 and then there's a series of capturing and then a check by Magnus moving his Bishop to b5 and usually in this position you're just gonna play the most common which is Knight to c6 moving your Knights in this night here
is well not going to be smart that's in this Bishop so you have to move that night then they decide to capture totally ignoring the fact that you can eat the night which I quite like that Magnus sometimes he he moves it moves things and then waits with them again a series of capture and now if it's the night and whoa I don't think that's necessarily the best option because it's moving a pawn that's in the side closer to the middle and also I prefer bishops tonight's just a little bit anyways mmm he captures he
captures and the game continues now another reason the main reason that Magnus decides to capture is that he wants to get this pawn back so after you capture Magnus can play a coin to see - now pinning this bishop so the bishop has to retreat and get the pawn no matter what based and also that is a check now Magnus decides to double up on this e-file pretty smart and now Ben decides to threaten the bishop my mistakes don't final six and the game continues now here's a very very smart player because Magnus didn't move
his his Bishop down mmm this h-file was not open so to get the rook into the game you asked a movie here and the King because they never cancelled it's kind of in the middle so moving the King to this square is very small although it is ignoring a threat that been Feingold has which is simply capturing the pawn very pretty pretty obvious gameplay moving the Queen right here I want to point out losing the point here so it's on in the position where after this into forcement and then you can play play less and
less some less-developed inspect been decisive to capture and right now Magnus is up one which is why I wouldn't necessarily want to capture I would want to use the piece to try to get a to try to even help the game by getting on one of these pieces but besides the capture obviously madness captures and now he moves his king again similar idea to move in this thing this that it's pretty cool that this game had no tassel so you saw two examples of losing the pan out of the way to hope to to enable
eyes the and and here actually a very interesting thing is that these two rooks being here not only can the King not kill any of them but also the King can't go here the King can't go here and the King can't go here the King has me and the team can go there but he is trapped so you just need a check and in fact if Knight was played then that's checkmate right there other than the fact of this fish so the bishop is the only thing that's currently protecting the King which is why after
this move Magnus pushes the spot to try to intercept the bishop with this night right here so he pushes the pawn hoping to push it one more - sighs hmm and so is Bishop takes Knight takes and the knight drops back and helps in the square that's technique so to prevent this then fungal decides to check Carson moves and now that Feingold goes here because what's interesting is that Carlson missed a very easy check and it doesn't really matter because Carlson wins but it's pretty interesting from here Carlson simply moves this here are sorry this
year and that's checkmate you can't eat you can't move here or here because of this and you can't move here because of the that uh that next which is pretty funny that we missed so burn Feingold moves here - obviously prevent that checkmate but it doesn't really matter because after pawn to e5 then Feingold resigns because he knows very soon checkmate is coming it was a very interesting game because it shows some twists on the London very ordinary ordinary ordinary but then this idea is pretty pretty impressive that Magnus thought of this it's a good
way to sacrifice upon to make some extra room and some more developments and similar with with moving the sphere I I still think that this could have been a better move especially and I'll skip to the end game especially here when you have to get the rook out of his position so we had to waste a move by moving he came back anyways it's a very fun opening with many different kind of things that you can you can play with it hopefully you guys enjoyed and learned something and hopefully you guys choose to use this
opening please it's very fun either way thank you guys for watching and I'll see you guys next
