what if you could use your worst mistakes to go viral get more attention and make more money than you ever did before this Tik tocker did exactly that and went from a couple thousand views per video to over 15 million views in one single video Tom Bailey started making Fitness advice videos and eventually exploded when he learned a technique to go viral that few people know about meanwhile another Fitness Tik tocker Tyler path was also getting only a couple thousand views per video but eventually he figured figured out the same technique that caused exactly the
same result over 20 million views with one single video so I decided to dig deeper and use my 18 years of experience as a social media strategist to break down exactly how these creators went so viral after years of no success but let me tackle this Burning question in your mind no you do not need to be a fitness influencer to use this virality technique this can generate the same results for any kind of business or occupation in fact one of our clients Dr Jordan Davis has generated millions of views with this exact technique and
another client professional chef Dean sh has recently generated over 6 million views on a single video using this same technique but to explain how that's possible we need to watch one of Coach Tom's videos so you know exactly what I mean when I say these creators use their mistakes to go viral now I want you to pay attention to the setup of this video and see if you understand what Tom is doing to hook viewers shower pressing here are the main mistakes that I see and how to fix them first mistake is having the bench
completely upright ideally we want it at 75 or 60° this puts the front of the shoulder in a better position to work as you go throughout that range the next mistake is half repping at the top of the range typically looks like this did you see what Tom did here he got 2 million views by showing the most common mistakes people make when shoulder pressing so if you want to go viral make videos about your worst mistakes it doesn't matter if you're a lawyer doctor or Gardener I bet you see people making silly mistakes all
the time and when you start it out you are probably making the same mistakes too so if you make videos about these mistakes it's guaranteed that people making them will watch your content but just knowing that you can do that to go viral it's not enough because well you can end up making several mistakes while trying to apply this method and believe me a lot of people have ended up with only a few thousand views when they could have generated Millions because of that so to destroy any possibility of this happening to you I've identified
seven simple steps that you need to go viral with your mistakes each step increases your chances of success so I recommend you follow all of them instead of choosing just a few so let's get to it the first thing you need for this technique is learn how to control people's minds yes that is possible but probably not in the way that you think let me ask you this did you know that China has over 2300 glass Bridges well there is a reason for this do you want to know more that's because of zyger neck effect
this phenomenon was discovered by a Soviet psychologist called bluma zyger in the 1920s and it shows that we tend to remember unfinished tasks better than completed ones our brains just hate loose ends and naturally crave closure which is why open statements like the one I just showed you keeps us hooked this is why you need to create a curiosity Gap at the beginning of your video to hook viewers into to your content this is the gap between what you tell viewers and what they are going to learn at the end of the video and what
they know right now for example in workout mistakes videos that perform well like shoulder pressing creators clearly Define the area in which people are making mistakes so the inherent question in people's minds are what are the worst mistakes when shoulder pressing am I making any of these mistakes these questions hijack your brain and now you can't think of anything else until you find the answer it's like when you're watching a movie and it ends with a crazy Cliffhanger like the bad guys winning now you're just completely tormented waiting for the sequel so that you you
can finally find out how the heroes will solve this problem but how do you put that into practice well all you need to do is clearly Define a problem or a mistake and make people wonder if they're guilty of it in the workout mistakes field it can be something like if you want to grow your glutes then stop doing like this if you're an English teacher you can say here's one of the most common English grammar mistakes or if you're a camping expert you can do something like don't stake your tent out like this but
there's something else you might have noticed about the hook in the video that we watched imagine a friend invites you to the movies without saying anything about the film that you're about to watch you don't know if it's the genre you like or if it's Stars any of the actors that you're a fan of so you're not very excited about it but if your friend tells you the movie is an adventure your favorite genre and it Stars Nicole kimman your favorite actress you become eager to watch it it's the same thing with your content a
great opening statement is not just about satisfying curiosity but promising to improve people's lives this can be the pr promise of entertainment as in the example of the movie theater but in your content it'll probably be something educational this works because if you promise right away that you'll help solve a problem viewers care about it's much more likely they'll watch your video Until the End that's why coach Tom says here are the main mistakes that I see and here's how to fix them so here's how you put it into practice immediately show what viewers will
get by the end of the video if it's on Tik Tok you need to show viewers what they'll get in the first 3 seconds and the captions if it's on YouTube you do it with your thumbnail title and the intro in educational content creators generally promise to show how to fix something or how to develop a certain skill you can also reinforce the promise visually if you're a doctor wear your coat or scrubs in the video If you teach Fitness show off your muscles these elements prove you know what you're talking about or you can
also reaffirm your Authority with a title or caption like love expert on when a man truly loves you he will do this or accountant explains how to pay less tax these also act as a promise of improvement since your expertise guarantees people will get advice instead of a Layman's opinion but the problem is if you're an expert in your field there's a high chance that you're committing this next mistake let me show you what I mean with a clip what is the biggest gym mistake you've ever made there's a lot of mistakes long road I
got one for you so basically when I got into working out for the first time I went to the gym and I was just like okay I need to work out right and I knew about like bicep curls I know about P do you even know what this video is about because I don't that's a class a case of a high workto wow ratio let's understand what I mean by looking at a scale on one side of the scale we have the work that is how much effort the viewer has to put in to understand
your video on the other side we have the wow that feeling the viewer gets when they watch something so useful it makes them rethink their lives you want your content to look like this a high wow factor with almost no effort from the viewer videos like this tend to perform well and get millions of views while videos that look like the opposite end of the scale will most likely fail to get as significant amount of views now going back to the theater example imagine if someone invited you to a documentary about a topic that you
knew nothing about and the explanations were just full of complex language you probably would want to leave the movie theater right away and it's the same exact thing with content that's hard to understand that's why you need to stay away from these seven common mistakes that makes your content hard to understand number one is using complex language when scripting your videos you want to keep them at a fifth grade reading level you can check that using a site called the Hemingway app number two using jargon don't use any words someone from outside your field wouldn't
understand three opening too many tabs focus on explaining one single thing at a time from start to finish instead of changing subjects in the middle of an explanation number four circling around the topic don't wait to start talking about your topic make it clear right away what the video is about number five including too many details keep the explanation to the bare minimum for understanding number six using too many words if you can say something with one word instead of three do it now before I go into our next mistake I know putting all of
this practice seems overwhelming I really feel your pain and especially when you've been using a certain kind of language for a long period of time but there is a way that you can learn to simplify your content quickly my team and I have worked with several professionals from Financial experts to doctors and help them simplify their message to get millions of views just like Aaron Nance a hand surgeon who after working with us went from 0 to 200,000 followers in 2 weeks and got eight videos with over 1 million views so if you want to
get the same results then book a call with my team by clicking the link below and now number seven giving complicated Solutions even when people want to learn stuff they want it to be easy so give them easy solutions the video we watched has many of these mistakes the coach takes too long to introduce the mistake and doesn't give straightforward Solutions besides the wow is low because he doesn't offer valuable insights in the end so here's how you can create a good work to ratio stay away from the seven common mistakes that make your content
hard to understand make sure your video's resolution is helpful now let's talk about one of the worst problems of online content which a lot of people Overlook except for coach Tom Bailey he knows what he's doing let's watch another clip hereit some of the worst exercises you can do by muscle group absolutely useless absolutely useless absolutely useless absolutely useless useless absolutely useless absolutely useless absolutely useless absolutely useless what did you feel while watching this fear shame whatever it was here's the thing sometimes we're scared to be overly dramatic or not factual enough when we're creating
content I know this because I'm an analytical thinker and I like to stay close to logic but if there's one thing I've learned after analyzing thousands of pieces of content is that emotion has an essential role in virality and I'm not the only one saying this a study by the Wharton School found that content that evoked High arousal emotions like awe anger or anxiety was more likely to go viral that's why even brands that focus on data and facts like tech companies or financial services invest heavily in crafting their message that tap into the audience's
emotion and that's why we need to focus on the delivery delivery is the use of vocal tone inflection pacing facial expressions and body language to support a verbal narrative delivery helps us convey emotion and that emotion keeps people watching let's explore what this means a little further let's say that you go to the movies and an actor is saying their lines with absolutely no emotion do you think that that would be a good watching experience now think about the best performance you've seen recently I'm sure whoever they were the actor was able to convey emotion
in their performance that's the difference between the razis for the worst actor and an Oscar and it's also between your content failing or succeeding and that's because when you explain a topic only on a technical basis it becomes boring but when you convey emotions people can't help but watch you until the end but how do you convey emotions the right way the first thing is using extreme words like worst and reinforcing the consequences of acting negatively then as you're jotting down ideas for what you'll say in your video you can bold or capitalize the words
that you want to emphasize then make a note about the feeling that you want to convey on each of these words lastly quickly test the emphasis you choose to apply on each word to ensure that they're working now let me ask you a quick question are you a visual learner the truth almost everyone is let me explain what I mean this is the learning pyramid this shows how much information people keep from different learning methods the bottom part of the pyramid is the most effective but it involves things outside your control as a content creator
because you can't force viewers to discuss a topic practice or teach other people about it but you can still take advantage of the other half of the per pyramid to increase viewers understanding of your video by six times now let's see how at the top of the pyramid we have the lecture method if you just upload videos of yourself talkinging I have bad news for you this is the same thing as giving a lecture and viewers will only remember about 5% of what you have said then we have reading at 10% which only applies if
you use captions then we have audio visual at 20% your videos will be in this category only if you use graphs sound and animation to explain your topic otherwise you're stuck at 5% and then we have this next method at 30% which helped a video get 6 million views let's watch a clip from the video to find out what it is Hint it has to do with visuals so pay close attention to [Music] that if you're doing a cable seat R like this and pulling more towards your chest rather than your waist down here you're
also going to likely be feeling it a lot more in your bicep did you see what he did there coach Tyler used a show and tell approach pairing verbal explanations of exercise techniques with visual demonstrations this is the same as when you watch a heist movie like Oceans 11 and the protagonist is about to explain how the team will rob a bank generally a voiceover plays while the scenes illustrate how the steps will unfold to avoid viewer confusion so here's how to use Show and Tell write down which visual you'll use for each part of
your explanation in the video coming up with analogies is also a great way to help you create compelling visuals this requires practice but once you get it it becomes easier just think of common everyday scenarios and try to create a parallel between them and your explanation for example have you noticed I've been using movie analogies all along to help you understand the concepts in this video but there's one more thing to know if you want to make the most out of your visuals let's watch two clips one video got 3 million views while the other
only got 100,000 views try to find out which one performed better as we're watching these here's some of the dumb stuff that I used to believe mountain climbers are a good ABS exercise if your muscles aren't in agony the day after a training session then you didn't go hard enough squeezing your glutes at the top of a squat means the exercises more glutes you can only build muscle in the 8 to 12 stop doing your stiff leg a deadlift like this guys you're going to break your back herniate a disc and worst of all you're
not even going to train the working muscle so there's a few things here you want to take into consider consideration first of all you want to ensure that your stance your posture is nice and Tall all right so feet shoulder width apart you don't want them out like this or whatever you always want to focus on your foot positioning next thing you want to do having the dumbbells lined up in front of you keep your shoulder blades back don't let them round all right keep your core engaged and when you're doing this exercise don't think
of okay I think we've seen enough of this one clearly the first video got more views and it has to all do with Dynamics Dynamics are intentional changes in the content's energy energ by shifting between different story lines visuals or audio with different tonal profiles for example think of the last movie you watched the story probably looked like this there were es and flows to the narrative slower scenes with dialogue and quicker scenes with fights different songs played at different tempos several different locations Fast Cuts and various camera angles all of this helps with Dynamics
and it can also help with your content to get more attention because the more contrast your video has the more engaging it will will be but how do you do that well one of the most common ways to apply Dynamics especially in making videos is to change the visuals this helps keeps viewers engaged as opposed to being bored so use different backgrounds angles and music in different scenes and frequently cut between new scenes but as effective as everything I showed you until now is I have to tell you that this next step is responsible for
at least 50% of the results you see people tell you to Niche down when creating content but that's just completely wrong at least when you're choosing your topics let me explain with an example let's say Johnny just started working out and wants to get ripped he's going through a few tutorial videos on YouTube and stumbles upon two different options one is titled this is probably why your biceps are not growing while the other is titled stop doing your hamstring curls like this which one do you think Johnny is going to click most likely the first
one most people won't even know what hamstring curls are but anyone who's starting to work out will want to grow their biceps you see there are more beginners than experts in the world so if you want to get more views you should frame your topic so everyone can understand this principle works so well the movie industry does that all the time without you even realizing it for example Coming of Age movies have exactly the same story structure with exactly the same elements everyone after a certain age has gone through Universal experiences like puberty having their
first kiss or asking their Crush out for the first time people can relate to these things so the likelihood of them watching this type of movie is greater than that of watching a niche movie movie about an uncommon experience it's the same with your content the broader and more common the topics you talk about the more people will likely watch it but I know what you must be thinking if I Target everyone I won't attract the people that want to buy my products or Services actually no when you raise the number of views you can
raise the number of clients or sales this is why if you convert 10% on 1,000 views you'll make 100 sales but if you convert 1% of a million views you'll have 10,000 potential conversions so the more General the topic the more people your video will reach and the more people means you'll also reach more of your target audience and get more sales than you ever did before so here's how you can attract the most amount of people with your content first write down the most common problems in your field you can look for those online
or look back at your own experience then make content to solve these specific problems once you do that getting attention of the right people who buy your products and services is just a matter of time I know this because Dean and Jordan are among dozens of clients who've increased their business success that way for example another small business we coach got 800,000 followers and over 100 million views in just 6 months but the Practical business results were even better as they were able to double their prices and sell more than they had ever done before
I break down how we did this in another video so if you want to get the same results for your business watch the video here
