Lord, Help Me to Commit My Life to You Fully and Trust in Your Plan | Morning Prayer

before we pray let's listen to God's word and then we'll pray together first Kings 8 verse 61 it says and may your hearts be fully committed to the Lord Our God to live by his decrees and obey his commands as at this time this is not a light or half-hearted commitment the verse tells us that our hearts should be fully committed to the Lord this means we are called to give all of ourselves to him not just part of us not just when it's convenient but completely and wholeheartedly when it says your heart should be

fully committed it means that your love your loyalty and your actions should all be directed toward following Jesus your heart should be compelled drawn to him in such a way that nothing else takes priority there is no room for divided attention when it comes to Christ Christ he calls us to be fully devoted to love him Above All Else and to live in obedience to his word Psalm 37:5 adds to this by saying commit your way to the Lord trust also in him and he shall bring it to pass this verse is a powerful reminder

that when we commit to God we are not doing it blindly we trust that God will work in our lives bringing to completion the plans he has has for us even when we can't see the full picture now take a moment and ask yourself have you truly committed your way to the Lord have you made that decision in your heart to follow him no matter what the cost too often we delay making this commitment we tell ourselves we'll do it later when life isn't as busy or when we feel more prepared but the truth is

there is no better time than now to commit your life to Christ I want to encourage you today to make that decision not just in words but in action be someone who is loyal to the Lord let your heart be so deeply rooted in Christ that there's no room for your attention to wander don't hold back or give less than your All to Jesus when you commit to him you're making a promise to follow him wherever he leads it's not always easy but it's always worth it Jesus never promised us that following him would be

without challenges but he did promise to be with us through it all so take that step today don't wait for tomorrow don't wait for someone else to tell you it's the right time the right time is now commit to living for Christ today with your whole heart mind and soul let us now come together in prayer Lord Jesus your word in Proverbs 16:3 tells us commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans this beautiful promise reminds me that you God are not just aware of my life but you are deeply

invested in it you care about every detail every hope every dream I carry in my heart so Lord with a heart full of trust and love I choose to give everything to you I Surrender not just the big obvious things but the Small hidden ones too the plans I've carefully made the desires I hold dear I place them all into your hands because I know that your wisdom is greater than mine and Lord I trust that whatever you do with these plans will be better than anything I could ever imagine father I offer up my

future to you knowing that when I commit it all to you you will guide my steps and Lead me in ways that fulfill your good purposes all the goals I've set the things I hope to accomplish I hand them over to you trusting that you will shape them in a way that brings glory to your name I know that my dreams may not always line up with your perfect will so I Surrender them fully not holding anything back I let go of control and release the pressure to make everything happen on my own I Trust

You Lord to bring about the right opportunities at the right time father with every person who hears this prayer We join together as one in offering our lives to you we surrender all that we have and all that we are to your loving care our families our children our marriages and even the relationships we haven't yet built we place them into your hands we know that you love us more than we can comprehend and you want what's best for us even when we don't understand it so we release our worries our fears and our uncertainties

knowing that you are faithful to carry us through we ask you mighty God to take full control lead us according to your perfect will and guide our steps so that we may live a life that reflects your goodness let your Holy Spirit be the source of peace and strength in our hearts and homes so that everything we do everything we say and every decision we make is pleasing to you in giving everything to you Lord I am not just making a gesture I'm declaring my full dependence on you I'm placing my whole life all of

my hopes fears and dreams in your hands acknowledging that you alone are able to direct my path I trust you completely Lord Jesus I trust you with my past my present and my future I believe in your power to transform any situation and I believe in your promises which never fail as I offer up my life and all my thoughts to you I ask that you renew my mind the world often fills my head with noise but I need your Clarity Lord let my thoughts be aligned with your word so that I may see things

through your eyes let the desires of my heart be purified Lord so that they reflect your will rather than my own selfish Ambitions help me to understand that your plans are higher and better than mine even when I don't see it the world may try to pull me in many different directions trying to convince me to chase after things that won't satisfy but I ask for your strength Lord strength to resist the Temptations around me strength to stay true to who you have called me to be and strength to stand firm even when others try

to sway me friends circumstances and culture May tempt me to compromise my values but Lord I know that you will give me the power to overcome every Temptation and remain faithful to you help me Lord to be so deeply devoted to following you that nothing in this world can distract me or steal my love for you for you I want my focus to be entirely on you Lord undivided and unwavering let the things of this world fade in comparison to the joy of knowing you and serving you I will not fear the unknown because my

trust is not in what I can see but in you the one who holds the future as Psalm 16: 8 and9 says I have set the lord always before me because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices My Flesh also will rest in hope I declare this over my life Lord no matter what comes my way I will not be shaken For You Are by my side I find peace in your presence knowing that you are in control my heart is full of

joy because I am safe in your care even though I may not know what tomorrow holds I have absolute confidence that you Lord are working all things together for my good even when challenges come I trust that you will take what the enemy meant for harm and turn it around for good you are my provider my safe refuge and I rest in that unshakable truth be glorified in my life Lord Jesus everything I do I want it to reflect your glory my heart is at peace not because my circumstances are perfect but because I know

you the one who is perfect you are my source of everything I need my hope my strength my peace you are my protector shielding me from harm even when I don't realize it I Look to You alone for direction for comfort and for the wisdom to navigate this life I Praise You Lord For All You've Done in my life life for all the ways you've blessed me and guided me and I praise you in advance for the things you are still yet to do the breakthroughs that are coming the answers to prayers I have not
