with the shepherd near your mind can relax and anxious thoughts can fade away as long as you try to handle things by yourself you'll never find rest you'll never find peace I watch people who who try to manipulate maneuver people in circumstances to get what they think they need and want never works Jesus your Good Shepherd says come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls for

Sunshine worry itself is a concern over the future worry is concern about something that we cannot do anything about that we cannot even be sure about one who worries looks off into the future but the problem with the person who does that is twofold first of all the future is not here and secondly the future is not his no one but God knows its true shape and according to the Bible worry is concern over the unknown and uncontrollable future live every day unto itself because if you start living tomorrow it's not going to work what

does it mean to worry about other things than the things that happen today well do you know some people I know they they dwell on all their tomorrows there's a powerful verse in the scripture in the Old Testament that I've sort of claimed as a verse for me and here's what it says Deuteronomy 33:25 as your days so shall your strength be as your days so your strength will be so don't dwell on your tomorrows and don't dwell on your yesterdays oh how many people ruined their lives with a faulty yesterday so you can't live

in yesterday's Sorrows you can't live in yesterday's successes and you can't live in yesterday's sins you got to live today in this day what kind of needs worry you what keeps you awaken at night what is currently making you anxious uncertain and Afraid you might think that you can make it your own way that you can survive without God but in the end you are nothing more than a sheep without a Shepherd when you walk away from God lost defenseless and alone without a loving guiding patient Shepherd I don't have a chance without the Good

Shepherd you don't have a chance because the Lord is my shepherd I have everything I need it is amazing to me how many of God's people go through the problems of life that create worry in their own hearts and never ever tell God about their problems I want you to know you can bring any problem that you ever have into the presence of God your problems are welcome in God's presence and that helps me to know that there's nothing that I'm dealing with that I have to carry by myself I don't get extra credit for

holding it to myself when I come to God I can start talking about you know like Paul said in Philippians chapter 4 anything he said don't be anxious but instead pray and I'm so grateful that there's nothing that I have to hide from God I can bring him any problem that I have not just a big one but a small one not just a small one but a big one God is bigger than your problem he is mighty to save he is mighty to provide whatever it is that you're worried about today God Is Bigger

he is stronger God has power over this situation when you remind yourself of this truth every time you start to get worried every time you start to think about how what is and what if and this is going to happen and this might turn out bad if you stop yourself and you say no no no no wait a minute God Is Bigger it creates the soil in your soul that grows faith and teaches you to remember he is bigger than this problem what he is doing is bigger than what you can comprehend do you believe

if God's going to take care of the birds and he didn't down on the cross to save the sin of the birds but he did for you can you trust that he's going to take care of you we can trust him he says how much more valuable are you than the birds how much more valuable are you think about this for a minute God loves you God values everything about you the thing that you are worried about today will not defeat you it doesn't have to ruin your life it does not have to control your

life God God I'm scared to death I don't know what's going to happen but I Surrender my anxiety and worry to you I Surrender this problem to you and I trust that you're bigger I trust that you love me and I trust that you're in control and I trust that you're going to do the right thing and so I'm going to wait for you to work and I'm going to get up tomorrow I'm going to do the best I can with what you've given me and I'm going to keep carrying on I'm going to let

you lead me through this I trust you you're all I need
