David wrote Psalm 35 at a time where I believe he was up against an enemy of some kind or at least the threat of an enemy because if you pay attention to his words his plea to God there is someone in desperate need of help and rescue and I would like to encourage you that when you do come up against something that threatens you turn to Psalm 35 and pray from the word of God saying contend Lord with those who contend with me fight against those who fight against me take up shield and armor arise

and come to my Aid brandish Spear and Javelin against those who pursue me say to me I am your salvation May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame May those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay may they be like chaff before the wind with the angel of the Lord driving them away dear friends may I remind you that God is your protector God is a shield that can block every every attack regardless of what form it comes in it will not Prosper when you're with Jesus Christ Our Lord

Is A Mighty Fortress meaning he is a hiding place in him no enemy whether visible or invisible can touch you so take a step back and try handing things over to God get to a place where you say I'm turning this over to you Lord get to a place where you say I won't spend my life worrying trying to fix everything and everyone I will trust in you God to fight for me you need to know who your lord and savior is you need to know that he is the author and finisher the beginning and

the end and he has never lost a battle have you ever been involved in a fight a fight for your job a physical fight a fight for your relationship we have all had to fight at some point and one thing that we need to realize is that every day from the time that we wake up to the time that we sleep we are in a fight we are involved in a conflict there is a struggle between good and evil and that struggle is a spiritual battle and it goes on every day day as we grow

older and become more mature Christians we're called to be equipped with the weapons that God has given us we're called to put on the whole armor of God and the question I want to ask you is have you ever answered that call have you answered the call to put on the whole armor of God as children of the most high we are called in this battle to be his Prayer Warriors and we are called to pray without ceasing but have you ever thought why we are to pray without ceasing some interpret this as repetitive prayer

but it's not it means we have to focus on God with everything we have prayer is the best discipline of our faith and as prayer warriors everything we love everything we're associated with must be covered by prayer that means our family and loved ones and friends should be under the umbrella of prayer even through the highs and the lows the struggles and the hardships milestones and successes everything that we go through should also be done in prayer you see going to church reading the the Bible doing good deeds are necessary for Christian Living but only

through the discipline of prayer can we overcome Temptations and struggles only when we become a prayer Warrior can we defeat this unseen enemy that's lurking in the dark trying to deceive us only through prayer can we experience God's power and might only then can we experience what it's like to live under the protection of God Almighty and it's only by this discipline that we can maintain our course and not lose focus on the commands of our King and Lord Jesus Christ so the next time you find yourself in a fight remember the posture that you

need to have one that's on your knees surrendered and willing for the Lord to have his way have we already decided whose side we're on in this battle who will you stand with choose just like Joshua did he stood and made a choice saying as for me and my house we will serve the Lord it's now or never in other words he made the decision to fight for God to fight on God's side now I want to say to you today fight the good fight that's what the Bible tells us in 1 Timothy chap 6

verse 12 fight the good fight of Faith take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses you see faith is a fight living for God is a fight a daily fight as a matter of fact back and when we're told to fight the good fight of Faith this means there is opposition there is conflict there's resistance that needs to be overcome there are two opposing sides and what are those sides at war with each other well the Amplified translation of Galatians 5:

17 says for the sinful nature has its desire which is opposed osed to the spirit and the desire of the spirit opposes the sinful nature for these two two the sinful nature and the spirit are in direct opposition to each other continually in Conflict so that you as a Believer do not always do whatever good things you want to do there is a fight between our sin ful nature and the spirit of God within us there is a fight between your will and God's will there is a fight between your pride and selfishness versus obedience

to God's word dear friend let me encourage you today to keep on fighting keep fighting the good fight of Faith now let us pray Lord Jesus be praised be glorified and honored father forgive us if we have ever doubted you or your word even for a moment I pray Lord that you would displace any doubt that is in our lives I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen us to believe in your word without hesitation when we are confronted by doubt remind us what your word says when we feel as though we

are weak Holy Ghost remind us that God's word in second Corinthians 12: 9-10 says my grace is sufficient for you my strength is made perfect in weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest rest upon me therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in needs in persecutions in distress for Christ's sake for when I am weak then I am strong we believe in your word Lord Jesus when we are weak you are a source of strength when we are powerless then we are strong in

you Lord we are able to draw on your strength We Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet and satisfy our every Need Your Loving kindness is enough to fill every void in my life and I praise you because your mercy King Jesus is more than enough your mercy is always available and never ending it covers a multitude of sins for this we are grateful Lord and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their lives anyone who is wrestling with doubt May the Holy Ghost invade their lives and displace every spirit that

stands against the word of God May the Holy Spirit sweep away every negative thought or voice that stands against the word of God wrap our minds Lord Jesus with your TR truth and your comfort fill us holy spirit so that we may choose Faith over fear fill us with faith Holy Ghost and steady our emotions keep us anchored in the word of God keep us rooted in scripture cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1:9 have I not commanded did you be strong and courageous do not be afraid do

not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go because of your word we declare and believe that we will not be afraid by anything in this world in jesus' name we will not be discouraged by people or circumstances in Jesus name as your children we will not fear because you are with us you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a God who has never lost to battle and so father we are only strong and courageous because you are on our side help me not to let my heart

be overwhelmed your word in Psalm 61: 1-4 says oh god listen listen to My Cry hear my prayer from the ends of the Earth I cried to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the Towering Rock of safety for you are my safe Refuge a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me let me live forever in your Sanctuary safe beneath the shelter of your wings father may we dwell in your presence forever you are a strong tower our divine refuge and a safe place be glorified and praised Forever More in Jesus

name I pray amen one of the most touching Psalms can be found in Psalm chapter 63 the Bible reads oh God you are my God early will I Seek You My Soul thirsts For You My Flesh Longs for you in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water so I have looked for you in the sanctuary to see your power and your glory because your loving kindness is better than life my lips shall praise you thus I will bless you while I live I will lift up my hands in your name my soul

shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness and my mouth shall praise you with joyful lips when I remember you on my bed I meditate on you in the night watches because you have been my help therefore in the shadow of your wings I Will Rejoice my soul follows close behind you your right hand upholds me have you ever been in a room full of people but felt as though you don't belong have you ever gone to a place an event or a concert even but felt as though you don't belong there have you ever

bumped into an old friend you get to talking and in the middle of the conversation you realize no no something is off here I'm no longer comfortable around you when Jesus Christ enters your heart you are born again you will begin to recognize a few things old appetites are gone you begin to question question your old habits you analyze and become aware of your sinful thought patterns when Jesus Christ enters your heart and you truly receive him you will find that the old rooms you used to enter so freely will become challenging to step into

because your heart has changed the places you used to visit those bars those adult entertainment places all of them will make your Spirit feel uneasy and you certainly won't be comfortable in that environment anymore and this is all because Jesus Christ has entered your heart you see when the Lord begins a work he will always deal with you first he will always start with the inner part of you first and that in turn will result in a change of attitude a change of habits a change of behavior Romans 12:2 do not be conformed to this

world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing you may discern what is the will of God what is good and acceptable and perfect Saints do not conform to this world that's a clear word of instruction don't comply with this world don't become acclimated to this world Saints we are in this world but we should not become adjusted nor should we be adjusted to this world and so you may ask what exactly should we not be accustomed to in this world well let me tell you that the Bible says in 2

Corinthians 4:4 in their case the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers to keep them from seeing the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God I want to focus on the first few words of this verse the God of this world has blinded the minds Saints this world is lost and the Bible clearly says the God of this world the devil Satan has a hold on the minds of people who aren't in Christ This Is Why We ought not to be conformed to the

patterns to the values and customs of this world have you noticed the blasphemy the lack of reverence for Godly principles that this world has we need need to be a people who are focused on Christ a people who are governed by the word of God a people who are regulated and directed by the holy spirit so that we can truly seek first the kingdom of God don't be afraid to stand out if it means Jesus Christ gets all the glory don't be afraid to be rejected by this world if it means you are accepted by

Jesus Jesus let's pray that the Lord would give us a spirit that is alert to the dark influences of this world pray for a spirit that is drawn to Godly values and the pursuit of righteousness Lord Jesus I pray that we would not be accustomed or conformed to this world open our eyes so that we can see this world for what it truly is a place that is temporary a place that encourages physical pleasure over spiritual things like fasting and praying it's a world that Fosters the love of money power and the spirit of Pride

I come against these things in my life I rebuke these shallow and temporary desires of money worldly success and pride over my life father don't allow us to be tolerant of the evil that's in this world give us the courage and boldness to stand up to this world and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord we don't care what the values Customs or agendas that are being pushed on us by this world are we care only about living a life that you approve Lord Jesus a life that is filled with faith so that it may be

pleasing to you we care about living a life that glorifies you a life that points to you as the savior of the world a life that points to your goodness your grace and mercy transform us change us realign our Focus so that we will not be distracted or derailed by anything in this world instead let our Obsession be to carry out your will let our true passion be to do that which is good and acceptable and perfect in your sight Philippians 3: 20- 21 says for our citizenship is in heaven from which we also eagerly

wait for for the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to his glorious body according to the working by which he is able even to subdue all things to himself thank you Lord for this blessed and reassuring word that my citizenship is in heaven with you I belong with you Lord and Heaven is my home and so I do not wish to be a friend of the world and make myself an enemy of the one true God but rather I would rather be rejected by the world

and accepted by you Lord Jesus I would rather stand and be persecuted by this world if it means that I can call you friend Lord Jesus I would rather be poor in terms of worldly possession if that means I have riches stored up for me in heaven all in all Lord teach me not to love the things of this world teach me to have the love of God but not to be in love with the world you are worthy of all honor and praise may your holy Holy Name be lifted High each and every day

in my life thank you for listening to this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray amen and amen whatever you do call on the Lord only Jesus can lead you beside Still Waters only Jesus Christ can renew your strength so don't be discouraged with what you're facing don't be disheartened at the events you're facing don't be preoccupied and filled with worry about what could come tomorrow instead call unto Jesus Christ today in this moment call on him to open your eyes so that you may see those who surround you the angels of

the Lord who surround you outnumber your enemies God's goodness is greater than your problems the Amplified translation for Psalm 34: 19 says many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous but the Lord rescues him from them all this is really a remarkable passage of scripture and it's one that is often overlooked as Christians we have not been promised a life free from hardships we have not been promised a trouble-free life on the contrary God has promised to be our rescue now hardship in life can come in many forms and so long as you are living

in this world trouble and hardships are simply a part of life I would even say this is the case more so if you are a Christian because Jesus said in John chapter 15: 18- 21 if the world hates you keep in mind that it hated me first if you belong to the world it would love you as its own as it is you do not belong to this world but I have chosen you out of the world that is why the world hates you remember what I told you a servant is not greater than his

master if they persecuted me they will persecute you you also if they obeyed my teaching they will obey yours also they will treat you this way because of my name for they do not know the one who sent me now I encourage you to pray that God would open your eyes so that you would firstly not be afraid and secondly when God opens your eyes may you begin to see the hedge of protection around you and may you begin to see the angels that encamp around you you can begin to draw strength from that from

the fact that Jesus Christ is on your side when you feel tired and frustrated cry out in prayer cry out in praise and should you face the hardships of life should you encounter the many afflictions that we all face in life then we have a promise to hold on to and that promise is that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all regardless of the type of trouble you face or the form it comes in so long as you are in the Lord you will overcome 1 Peter

4: 13-16 says but rejoice in as much as you participate in the sufferings of Christ so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed fi if you are insulted because of the name of Christ you are blessed for the spirit of glory and God rests on you if you suffer it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal or even a meddler however if you suffer as a Christian do not be ashamed but praise God that you bear that name when you suffer because you are a Christian

would you suffer because of your belief in the Lord be strengthened by the word of God because the Bible says you are blessed for the spirit of glory and of God rests on you now I'm telling you this not so that you would be discouraged but rather so that you would be grounded in your perspective loving Jesus Christ living for Jesus Christ doesn't mean you'll have a life free from any problems equally when You Face challenges or pain this doesn't mean the lord loves you any less than someone else you see God doesn't promise us

a life devoid of suffering pain problems or difficult situations as a matter of fact he tells us the opposite in John 16:33 the Bible says these things I have spoken to you that in me you may have peace in the world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer I have overcome the world but you see after Jesus warns us of the many troubles we are to face in the world in the same verse He commands us to be of good cheer for he has overcome the world and so I may not not know

what you are going through but here is my message to you today be of good cheer because in Jesus you are an overcomer things may be tough right now everything might not be all right but be of good cheer have faith in the Lord and He will see you through you may be in a dark place right now but be of good cheer keep holding on to Jesus there is light at the end of the tunnel not only does God want us to be of good cheer but he also wants us to turn to him

in prayer during difficult times in fact tough times can motivate us or prompt us to pursue God through prayer more passionately and desperately when we are in any kind of trouble we tend to become aware of how weak and limited we are on our own we feel helpless we realize how much we need the Lord to intervene Jesus Christ is our comforter and a very present help in times of trouble the only help we would ever need yes as humans we still have feelings and emotions nobody can deny that God doesn't expect us to be

laughing and dancing all the time but what he does want from us Is our commitment to him what God does want from us is Faith because faith is what pleases God faith is what moves God to act so be of good cheer dear friend Jesus Christ has overcome now let us pray father God I ask that you would touch our hearts and Minds forever if anyone listening right now is fearful if anyone is feeling worried I pray that you would bring peace into their hearts touch everyone in need of strength right now and give them

the divine power to pray and push for victory Lord I invite your presence give us a sense of call calm and Assurance thank you for your hand that is upon me my family and all my loved ones continue to preserve us continue to guide us Jesus may your hand continually protect us we may be facing different problems and complicated challenges but God you are bigger than any problem you are more powerful than our issues and greater than all obstacles you are a God who honors his word and I pray that you would open my eyes

of faith help me to walk by faith and not by sight so that I can see your hand and your goodness in every situation regardless of how painful as I encounter any hardships in my life I pray that you would give me the understanding that at times you allow me to face certain trials in in order to achieve a specific purpose in my life help me to remember what your word says in James 1 verse 2:4 consider it pure joy my brothers and sisters whenever you face Trials of many kinds because you know that the

testing of your faith produces perseverance let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete and not lacking anything I pray that the testing of my faith would bring about a higher level of spiritual maturity within my life may the testing of my faith produce fertile ground for a strong Godly character within me help me to understand that there is a purpose you want to achieve when you allow me to face certain difficulties a purpose such as unlocking a stronger desire for seeking your presence a purpose such as Awakening a hunger for

righteousness and Holiness like never before or perhaps the purpose of my faith being tested is to expose the gifts and the calling that lays dormant inside of me whatever it may be may your will be done in my life King Jesus I pray that I may abound in Hope through the power of the holy spirit thank you Lord Jesus for hearing my prayer amen one of the clearest and most powerful verses in the Bible can be found in 1 John 2: 6 the word of God says whoever claims to live in him must live as

Jesus did I don't think the Bible can be any clear here anyone who claims to be a Christian must walk and conduct themselves as Christ we ought to be imitators of Christ in every way possible and this means we need to strive to be as prayerful as Jesus was when he walked on this Earth We should strive to be as loving and merciful as Jesus was on this Earth we should fight to be about our father's business we should fight to do God's Will and so dear friend our hearts cry should be Lord I want

to walk like you did Teach Me How to Love like you did teach me how to be obedient just like you were teach me how to be forgiving just like you were and of course teach me how to pray like you did as you are listening I want to encourage you and let you know that once you have accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and savior Ephesians 4: 20- 24 says but you have not so learned Christ if indeed you have heard him and have been taught by him as the truth is in Jesus that

you put off concerning your former conduct the old man which grows corre according to the deceitful lusts and be renewed in the spirit of your mind and that you put on the new man which was created according to God in true righteousness and Holiness people of god let's put away the old sinful nature of the flesh this is not a time to be living in sin it's not the time to be lukewarm be renewed in your spirit be renewed in your mind I encourage you to have a burning desire a yearning to live for Jesus

Christ Romans 6: 6 says knowing this that our old man was crucified with him that the body of sin might be done away with that we should no longer be slaves of sin indeed we should no longer be slaves to sin we should no longer be slaves to the flesh or to the world because we as Believers are born of God we are Redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ we are washed and Sanctified by his blood as new creatures in Christ we should therefore walk by faith and not by sight we should walk in

the spirit and not according to the flesh Galatians 5: 16 to 18 says so I say walk by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh for the flesh desires what is contrary to the spirit and the spirit what is contrary to the flesh they are in conflict with each other so that you are not to do whatever you want but if you are led by the spirit you are not under the law I want to pray and agree with everyone who wants to turn their life around and even as I

pray my desire is that the Holy Spirit would move and anoint this message and this prayer so that it may touch your heart and impress the reality of Jesus Christ upon your minds my desire is that the Lord would bless this prayer so that it would not fall on deaf ears but instead may it be received by willing Hearts the Bible says in 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turned from their Wicked Ways then I will hear from heaven and will

forget for their sin and heal their land I want you to note how God is saying to his people humble yourselves pray and seek my face turn from your wicked ways this Saints is how you can turn your life around humble yourself meaning surrender to the Lord except that you do not know it all you cannot do life through your own strength and might you need Jesus I believe in that here in 2 Chronicle 7:14 the Bible is telling us to Humble ourselves because we need to come to a place whereby we are willing to

Simply serve to serve Jesus Christ to serve the body of Christ and serve his kingdom the second point is to pray and seek his face Psalm 42:1 says as a deer pants for flowing streams so pants my soul for you oh god there needs to be a longing and a yearning for God in your heart indeed the Lord wants his children to not only pray but to pray and seek his face that means don't just come with a list of requests take time to commune with him to build a relationship with him God wants us

to fellowship with him the Bible tells us to seek one thing above all else in Matthew 6:33 but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you God wants us to seek Him First now the third point is that we should turn from our Wicked Ways our God is Holy and he has called us to be separate from the world meaning we ought not to engage in the sinful practices of this world we ought to turn away and so should you desire to turn your life around

do it the way God has prescribed in 2 chonicles 7:14 as his word says if my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their Wicked Ways then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land humble yourself pray and seek his face turn away from your Wicked Ways now let us pray dear King Jesus we thank you for your goodness in you Lord Jesus we have Redemption through the power of your blood we have the Forgiveness of our trespasses according

to the riches of your your grace and mercy I pray that sin would not reign in our mortal bodies give us the strength not to obey the Flesh and its lusts purify us with your blood so that we may not be instruments of unrighteousness or slaves to sin but instead may we be a people who are obedient to your call help us to present ourselves as instruments of righteousness to you Lord help us to present ourselves to you as vessels that are ready in willing to be used for your glory and for your kingdom sin

has no dominion over us in jesus' name 1 Corinthians 1:30 says that it is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus who has become for us wisdom from God that is our righteousness Holiness and Redemption this is our portion in jesus' name wisdom righteousness Holiness and redemption in Christ help us to set aside the old self with its evil practices strengthen us Holy Spirit and help us to be strong in the Lord to be strong in prayer to be loving to others just as Christ was loving help us to be a people who

are renewed in our mind Soul and Spirit Lord we desire to be more and more like you help us as we strive to imitate you may we walk just as Jesus did so focused on the work of the father May our hearts be filled with the love of God so that even the unbelievers in this world world may see the Light of Christ within us help us to grow in obedience in forgiveness in self-control and discipline Romans 6:6 says for we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by

sin might be done away with that we should no longer be slaves to sin I confess and declare that I am no longer a slave to sin I am not a slave to fear I am not a slave to unrighteousness or to the flesh I declare that through the power of Christ I do not walk in darkness but in the light of God and his word through the power of Jesus Christ I do not walk in lies but I walk in his truth I do not walk in the desire of the flesh but I walk

by faith I walk in the spirit I am not of this world nor am I conformed to it father your word says but also for this very reason giving all diligence add to your faith virtue to Virtue knowledge to knowledge self-control to self- control perseverance to perseverance godliness to God godliness brotherly kindness and to brotherly kindness love help me to add all of these things in my life and in my walk with you rule my mind Lord Jesus rule my heart my affections will forever be set on things above and not on things of this

always hear about how the Lord is my shepherd I shall not want we need to accept the Bible in its entirety and this includes the more difficult verses such as Hebrews 9: 27 which says and as it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the Judgment too many believers do not like to hear even entertain the topic of death or judgment from God but today I want to share a few things with you when it comes to Judgment Day there will be two groups of people and I want you to notice this

rule of two there are the sheep and the goats Matthew 25: 32-33 says all the nation s will be gathered in his presence and he will separate the people as a Shepherd separates the sheep from the goats he will place the Sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left the Sheep will be on Jesus's right hand and they are blessed by God and will receive eternal life but you see the goats on Jesus's left hand are cursed with eternal Hellfire another separation is to do with Judgment Day itself once again we see

this rule of two there are two end time judgments of which the Bible speaks of the great white Throne judgment and the Judgment seat of Christ for the great white Throne judgment only lost people appear at that judgment everyone there is cast into the Lake of Fire the judgment is to determine their degree of punishment this judgment is detailed in Revelation 20 and then there is the Judgment seat of Christ which is detailed in 2 Corinthians 5:10 only Christians will appear at this judgment it is a judgment to determine Eternal Rewards or the loss of

them it has nothing to do with determining salvation now I could go on and on and give you more examples of this rule of two in the Bible those who are on the broad Road living any way they like and then there are those who walk on the narrow road and live their lives for the glory of Christ but today there's a passage of scripture that when I read it it shakes me to my core Matthew 7 verse 21-23 says not everyone who says to me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but the

one who does the will of my father who is in heaven on that day many will say to me Lord Lord did we not prophesy in your name and cast out demons in in your name and do many mighty works in your name and then will I declare to them I never knew you depart from me you workers of lawlessness it's a sobering thought that someone could prophesy in the name of Jesus cast out demons in the name of Jesus and do miraculous things Ines Jesus name but yet still miss the point of this Christian

walk there are people who will do all the right things they'll say all the right words but still their hearts will not be in the right place you see a true relationship with Jesus is not about following all the rules or working hard to earn his favor walking with Christ requires us to understand that it's all about him it's all about Jesus it's all about his will his way it's about a deep meaningful relationship with him I hope that I'm making myself clear Saints being a Christian is not about anything else other than Jesus Christ

in Matthew 15:8 Jesus says these people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me in all of their spiritual words and actions these people do not seek to glorify God they seek to glorify themselves don't let that be the story of your life don't be content with simply looking like a Christian on the outside but inwardly living for yourself true Christianity isn't about fixing up your appearance it's about loving the Lord your God with all your heart soul and mine your Eternal future hinges on that distinction if you profess to follow

Jesus the four words you never want to hear are I never knew you when you stand Before the Throne of God will he look at you as a son or a daughter or will he look at you like a stranger he's never met as you're listening today I have good news the good news is that there's still time to get to know Jesus there's still time to ask yourself yourself if you are truly living for God or if you are living for the things of this world do you have a real relationship with Jesus Christ

do you know him or do you just know a lot of things about him our Salvation is not based on how many verses we've memorized or our church attendance or our theology it's based on having a true relationship with God if you've been distant from him lately run back to the Lord with all your heart ask him to renew your thinking ask him to make you authentic in your love and desire for Christ make your actions reflect the heart of someone who has been touched by Jesus to know Jesus means to follow him not just

in the good times but through hardship and suffering if you truly love Jesus you must be willing to endure everything he endured because you believe he is worthy of all things can you say that about your walk with God maybe it's time to do some reflection and ask the Holy Spirit to wake you up from your spiritual slumber father God I thank you for inviting me to have a personal relationship with you you created the heavens and the Earth and everything in it and yet you still call me by name despite my flaws despite my

failures despite my Rebellion at times you've invited me to spend all of eternity with you I desire to know you more to know you deep within my soul lord teach me not to take your love for granted but to approach each day with a grateful heart and grow in my understanding of you Lord help me to truly live for you help me to be authentic in my love for you I want to know you not just know about you I want to know your heart your character your desires your plan for my life your word

in Proverbs 8 ver1 17 says I love those who love me and those who seek me diligently find me Lord Jesus I want to treasure you so much that I'm willing to suffer and sacrifice for you I thank you for dying on the cross for me I consider an intimate relationship with you to be the most beautiful holy and worthy thing I could ever [Music] pursue God I want you to become real to me not just some distant being with little to no impact on my life I want to know you as a father and

as a friend I want to know you deeply Lord to Fellowship with you and to bask in your presence I pray that my knowledge of you will go beyond memorizing scripture or church doctrine I want to know you in deep within my heart and soul I invite you to come dwell in my heart so Lord help me to constantly Monitor and evaluate the state of my relationship with you don't let my love grow cold give me the habits and the attitudes I need to cultivate that relationship May the Holy Spirit convict me and give me

an appetite to spend more time in your word to spend more time in prayer to live out your commands in the world around me May everything in my life reflect the love I have for for you and as I come to know you more help me to be more like you Let My Words my actions and my desires come to imitate yours so that on that Judgment Day when I see you face to face you will not cast me aside you will not declare that you never knew me instead you will look at me with

love and say well done my good and faithful servant I praise you and glorify your blessed name thank you for hearing my prayer I pray this all in Jesus's name amen and as it is appointed unto men wants to die but after this the judgment all the nations will be gathered in his presence and he will separate the people as a Shepherd separates the sheep from the goats he will place the Sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left not everyone who says to me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven

35 at a time where I believe he was up against an enemy of some kind or at least the threat of an enemy because if you pay attention to his words his plea to godone there is someone in desperate need of help and rescue and I would like to encourage you that when you do come up against something that threatens you turn to Psalm 35 and pray from the word of God saying contend Lord with those those who contend with me fight against those who fight against me take up shield and armor arise and come

to my Aid brandish Spear and Javelin against those who pursue me say to me I am your salvation May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame May those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay may they be like chaff before the wind with the angel of the Lord driving them away dear friends may I remind you that God is your protector God is a shield that can block every attack regardless of what form it comes in it will not Prosper when you're with Jesus Christ our Lord Is A Mighty

Fortress meaning he is a hiding place in him no enemy whether visible or invisible can touch you so take a step back and try handing things over to God get to a place where you say I'm turning this over to you Lord get to a place where you say I won't spend my life worrying trying to fix everything and every one I will trust in you God to fight for me you need to know who your lord and savior is you need to know that he is the author and finisher the beginning and the end

and he has never lost a battle have you ever been involved in a fight a fight for your job a physical fight a fight for your relationship we have all had to fight at some point and one thing that we need to realize is that every day from the time that we wake up to the time that we sleep we are in a fight we are involved in a conflict there is a struggle between good and evil and that struggle is a spiritual battle and it goes on every day as we grow older and become

more mature Christians we're we're called to be equipped with the weapons that God has given us we're called to put on the whole armor of God and the question I want to ask you is have you ever answered that call have you answered the call to put on the whole armor of God as children of the most high we are called in this battle to be his Prayer Warriors and we are called to pray without ceasing ceasing but have you ever thought why we are to pray without ceasing some interpret this as repetitive prayer but

it's not it means we have to focus on God with everything we have prayer is the best discipline of our faith and as prayer warriors everything we love everything we're associated with must be covered by prayer that means our family and loved ones and friends should be under the umbrella of prayer even through the highs and the lows the struggles and the hardships milestones and successes everything that we go through should also be done in prayer you see going to church reading the Bible doing good deeds are necessary for Christian Living but only through the

discipline of prayer can we overcome Temptations and struggles only when we become a prayer Warrior can we defeat this unseen enemy that's lurking in the dark trying to deceive us only through prayer can we experience God's power and might only then can we experience what it's like to live under the protection of God Almighty and it's only by this discipline that we can maintain our course and not lose focus on the commands of our King and Lord Jesus Christ so the next time you find yourself in a fight remember the posture that you need to

have one that's on your knees surrendered and willing for the Lord to have his way have we already decided whose side we're on in this battle who will you stand with choose just like Joshua did he stood and made a choice saying as for me and my house we will serve the Lord it's now or never in other words he made the decision to fight for God to fight on God's side now I want to say to you today fight the good fight that's what the Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 6:2 fight the good

fight of Faith take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses you see faith is a fight living for God is a fight a daily fight as a matter of fact and when we're told to fight the good fight of Faith this means there is opposition there is conflict there's resistance that needs to be overcome there are two opposing sides and what are those sides at war with each other well the Amplified translation of Galatians 5 verse1 17 says for the sinful

nature has its desire which is opposed to the spirit and the desire of the spirit opposes the sinful nature for these two two the sinful nature and the spirit are in direct opposition to each other continually in Conflict so that you as a Believer do not always do whatever good things you want to do there is a fight between our sinful nature and the spirit of God within us there is a fight between your will and God's will there there was a fight between your pride and selfishness versus obedience to God's word dear friend let

me encourage you today to keep on fighting keep fighting the good fight of Faith now let us pray Lord Jesus be praised be glorified and honored father forgive us if we have ever doubted you or your word even for a moment I pray Lord that you would displace any doubt that is in our lives I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen us to believe in your word without hesitation when we are confronted by doubt remind us what your word says when we feel as though we are weak Holy Ghost remind us

that God's word in 2 Corinthians 12: 9-10 says my grace is sufficient for you my strength is made perfect in weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in needs in persecutions in distress for Christ's sake for when I am weak then I am strong we believe in your word Lord Jesus when we are weak you are a source of strength when we are powerless then we are strong in you Lord we are able to draw

on your strength We Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet and satisfy our every Need Your Loving kindness is enough to fill every void in my life and I praise you because your mercy King Jesus is more than enough your mercy is always available and never ending it covers a multitude of sins for this we are grateful Lord and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their lives anyone who is wrestling with doubt May the Holy Ghost invade their lives and displace every spirit that stands against the word of God May

the Holy Spirit sweep away every negative thought or voice that stands against the word of God wrap our minds Lord Jesus with your truth and your comfort fill us holy spirit so that we may choose Faith over fear fill us with faith Holy Ghost and steady our emotions keep us anchored in the word of God keep us rooted in scripture cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1:9 have I not commanded you be strong and courageous do not be afraid do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will

be with you wherever you go because of your word we declare and believe that we will not be afraid by anything in this world in Jesus name we will not be discouraged by people or circumstances in jesus' name as your children we will not fear because you are with us you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a God who has never lost to battle and so father we are only strong and courageous because you are on our side help me not to let my heart be overwhelmed your word in Psalm 61: 1-4 says

oh god listen to My Cry hear my prayer from the ends of the Earth I cried to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the Towering Rock of safety for you are my safe Refuge a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me let me live forever in your Sanctuary safe beneath the shelter of your wings father may we dwell in your presence forever you are a strong tower our divine refuge and a safe place be glorified and praised Forever More in Jesus name I pray amen contend Lord with those who contend

no no something is off here I'm no longer comfortable around you when Jesus Christ enters your heart you are born again you will begin to recognize a few things old appetites are gone you begin to question your old habits you analyze and become aware of your sinful thought patterns when Jesus Christ enters your heart and you truly receive him you will find that the old rooms you used to enter so freely will become challenging to step into because your heart has changed the places you used to visit those bars those adult entertainment places all of

them will make your spirit feel uneasy and you certainly won't be comfortable in that environment anymore and this is all because Jesus Christ has entered your heart you see when the Lord begins a work he will always deal with you first he will always start with the inner part of you first and that in turn will result in a change of attitude a change of habits a change of behavior Romans 12:2 do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing you may discern what is the

will of God what is good and acceptable and perfect Saints do not conform to this world that's a clear word of instruction don't comply with this world don't become acclimated to this world Saints we are in this world but we should not become adjusted nor should we be adjusted to this world and so you may ask what exactly should we not be accustomed to in this world well let me tell you that the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:4 in their case the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers to keep

them from seeing the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God I want to focus on the first few words of this verse the God of this world has blinded the minds Saints this world is lost and the Bible clearly says the God of this world the devil Satan has a hold on the minds of people who aren't in Christ This Is Why We ought not to be conformed to the Past patterns to the values and customs of this world have you noticed the blasphemy the lack of reverence

for Godly principles that this world has we need to be a people who are focused on Christ a people who are governed by the word of God a people who are regulated and directed by the holy spirit so that we can truly seek first the kingdom of God don't be afraid to stand out if it means Jesus Christ gets all the glory don't be afraid to be rejected by this world if it means you are accepted by Jesus let's pray that the Lord would give us a spirit that is alert to the dark influences of

this world pray for a spirit that is drawn to Godly values and the pursuit of righteousness Lord Jesus Jesus I pray that we would not be accustomed or conformed to this world open our eyes so that we can see this world for what it truly is a place that is temporary a place that encourages physical pleasure over spiritual things like fasting and praying it's a world that Fosters the Love of Money power and the spirit of Pride I come against these things in my life I rebuke these shallow and temporary desires of money worldly success

and pride over my life father don't allow us to be tolerant of the evil that's in this world give us the courage and boldness to stand up to this world and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord we don't care what the values Customs or agendas that are being pushed on us by this world are we care only about living a life that you approve Lord Jesus a life that is filled with faith so that it may be pleasing to you we care about living a life that glorifies you a life that points to you as

the savior of the world a life that points points to your goodness your grace and mercy transform us change us realign our Focus so that we will not be distracted or derailed by anything in this world instead let our Obsession be to carry out your will let our true passion be to do that which is good and acceptable and perfect in your sight Philippians 3: 20- 21 says for our citizenship is in heaven from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ who will transform our lowly body that it may be

conformed to his glorious body according to the working by which he is able even to subdue all things to himself thank you Lord for this blessed and reassuring word that my citizenship is in heaven with you I belong with you Lord and Heaven is my home and so I do not wish to be a friend of the world and make myself an enemy of the one true God but rather I would rather be rejected by the world and accepted by you Lord Jesus Jesus I would rather stand and be persecuted by this world if it

means that I can call you friend Lord Jesus I would rather be poor in terms of worldly possession if that means I have riches stored up for me in heaven all in all Lord teach me not to love the things of this world teach me to to have the love of God but not to be in love with the world you are worthy of all honor and praise may your Holy Name be lifted High each and every day in my life thank you for listening to this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I
