good morning and thank you for joining me in this moment of prayer and reflection you know God designed the human heart not just to beat but to feel to carry love hope and at times sorrow he knows that pain is a part of this Earthly journey and he sees every tear you shed every burden you carry and every silent Cry of your soul this morning morning let your heart open before the Lord before we pray let us first absorb the word of God to deepen our prayer when we understand his word we draw closer to

him allowing his truth to Anchor our hearts Psalm 88 is a unique passage in the Bible because it expresses deep sorrow without a clear resolution unlike other Psalms that transition from lament to praise this Psalm remains in a place of distress yet it holds a profound lesson God welcomes our honest cries even when we feel lost unheard or overwhelmed our prayers do not go unnoticed Psalm 88 reminds us that God's presence is near Even in our darkest moments Psalm 8812 Lord you are the God who saves me day and night I cry out to you

may my prayer come before you turn your ear to my C cry at the very start the psalmist acknowledges God as the one who saves this is a powerful truth even in distress we declare that God is our savior but notice the urgency day and night I cry out this is not a one-time prayer but a continual pouring out of the heart there are times when pain lingers when answers seem distant yet the act of persistent prayer itself is an act of faith we make may ask does God truly hear me Psalm 882 assures us

that he does when we pray our words do not vanish into the void God leans in attentive to every plea even when we feel unheard God is always listening but waiting for an answer can feel exhausting what do we do when we pray and nothing seems to change we hold on we trust we keep lifting our prayers because the act of calling out to God strengthens our relationship with him like a child who calls out for their parent in the dark we call upon God believing that he will come to us in his perfect timing

sometimes faith is simply choosing to believe that even in silence God is working Psalm 889 my eyes are dim with grief I call to you Lord every day I spread out my hands to you grief can Cloud our vision not just physically but spiritually the weight of Sorrow can make it hard to see hope to recognize God's presence yet the psalmist does something crucial he calls out to God daily this verse teaches us that in pain consistency in seeking God is key even when emotions fluctuate even when exhaustion takes hold we can still lift our

hands in surrender spreading out our hands is a gesture of openness of surrender of expectation it says God I have nothing left but I trust you in those moments of emptiness God is near he is our source of comfort even when we do not immediately feel it think about a time when you were at your lowest When Hope felt like a distant memory what did you do did you isolate yourself did you shut down or did you like the psalmist lift your hands to God there is power in choosing to keep praying in refusing to

let go of the one who sustains us even in darkness our cries reach heaven Psalm 88:13 but I cry to you for help Lord in the morning my prayer comes before you morning represents a fresh beginning the night may have been filled with struggle but the psalmist makes a decision I will seek God first there is something significant about morning prayers before the chaos of the day begins before distractions set in we invite God to be our strength even if circumstances remain unchanged starting the day with prayer sets our hearts on a foundation of faith

it reminds us that we do not walk through the day alone no matter what lies ahead God's presence goes before us have you ever started your day without prayer and noticed how different things felt the worries seem heavier the stress mounts quicker and negativity Creeps in but when we begin with God when we intentionally turn our Focus to him there is peace that peace is not dependent on external circumstances but rather on the firm knowledge that God is with us guiding us through every moment Psalm 88 teaches us that it is okay to bring our

raw unfiltered emotions before God he does not require polished prayers or perfect Faith instead he invites us to come as we are hurting confused desperate in the silence in the darkness in the waiting God remains with us some may think that faith means always feeling strong always believing without doubt but true faith is clinging to God even when we don't understand it is holding on when everything in US wants to let go it is trusting that even in despair even when prayers seem unanswered God is still working if today you feel unheard unseen or overwhelmed

take heart your prayers are precious to God keep crying out keep seeking keep lifting your hands he hears you he loves you and he will never leave you even in the darkest moments his light is near even when tears blur your vision his presence remains and even when your voice trembles with pain your prayers are never wasted let's enter into this moment of prayer together inviting God to renew our minds heal our hearts and align our thoughts with his truth Heavenly Father this morning we we come before you with Open Hearts carrying our burdens our

struggles and our pain we trust that you see us you hear us and you love us even when the weight of life feels too heavy to Bear we take comfort in knowing that you are near you are our refuge our healer and our source of strength we surrender our pain to you Lord we lay every hurt every sorrow and every tears here at your feet you know the depths of our hearts the wounds we carry and the Silent Cries we cannot even put into words Hold Us in your Embrace and lift this burden from our

souls when we are weak be our strength when we feel lost be our guide when we feel broken be the hands that restore us We Trust You Lord to take what is shattered and make it whole again no pain is too deep for your healing touch and no sorrow is beyond on your comfort Lord strengthen us for this day give us the courage to face today with hope even when we feel weak when exhaustion overtakes us be our rest when doubts Cloud our minds be our Clarity when sadness lingers be our joy help us to

see this day as a gift an opportunity to experience your grace in new ways Lord we ask for resilience in the face of adversity and the faith to trust in your divine plan even when the path ahead is unclear let us lean on you knowing that you will carry us through every challenge we Face heal our wounded Hearts mend the broken places in our spirits and bring peace where there is suffering your touch alone can restore what has been shattered heal our hearts oh Lord in the places that only you can reach Let Your Love

flow into every wound and replace our pain with your peace May the wounds of our past not Define our future and may the burdens we carry not overshadow the joy that is found in you fill us with the confidence that in your presence healing is always possible teach us to trust in the process of healing to be patient with ourselves and to lean on your Everlasting Arms remind us that we are not alone even when we feel isolated help us feel your presence surrounding us when we feel abandoned let us remember that you will never

leave us nor forsake us let the Assurance of Your Love be stronger than the Whispers of loneliness send us reminders of your nearness a kind word a moment of Stillness a sense of peace that surpasses understanding let us feel your presence as a comforting Embrace surrounding us with your NeverEnding love let us also find companionship in those you place around us that we may lift one another up and bear each other's burdens give us rest from our worries calm our anxious thoughts and fill our hearts with your perfect peace the world is full of uncertainty

but you are our constant we give you our fears our doubts and our stress knowing that you hold our future in your hands teach us to let go of what we cannot control and trust that you are already working on our behalf may we find rest in your promises knowing that your plans are greater than our own when our minds race with concerns let us remember that you are sovereign over all things and that your love is an unshakable Foundation let us see your Love Today Show us glimpses of your goodness even in the midst

paths seem uncertain when answers don't come as we expect help us trust that you are leading us where we need to be give us Faith to believe that you are orchestrating something greater than we can see strengthen our resolve to follow you even when we cannot yet see the way forward let us have peace in in knowing that your ways are higher than ours and that your purpose for us is greater than we can comprehend strengthen our faith in hard times remind us that you are greater than any trial we face when we are tempted

to give into fear remind us of your faithfulness when our circumstances Shake us plant our feet firmly in your promises we will not be overcome because you are our firm foundation help us to walk by fa faith and not by sight trusting that even in the darkest valleys you are still guiding us let us grow in endurance perseverance and unwavering Faith as we navigate the trials of life with our eyes fixed on you bless those who are also hurting pour out your love and comfort on others who are struggling today we lift up those who

are grieving those who are battling illness those who feel lost and Afraid surround them with your presence and let them experience the peace that comes from knowing you are near use us Lord to be vessels of your love and encouragement let us not be so consumed by our own pain that we fail to extend a helping hand to others who are suffering May our trials equip us to be a source of compassion and strength for those who need it most father let us find Hope in your promises your word is our refuge and we will

hold on to your truth today when we feel weary we will remember that you give strength to the weak when we feel afraid we will cling to the promise that you are our protector when we feel lost we will trust that you are our guide your promises are our anchor and in you we find unshakable Hope let us cling to your truth knowing that your love is eternal your mercy is unending Ing and your grace is always enough Lord we trust that you are walking with us through this pain you are our comforter our protector

and our unshakable foundation may your truth be the lens through which we view ourselves and the world around us fill our minds with thoughts that glorify you and our hearts with a peace that can only come from resting in your presence thank you Lord for hearing our prayers thank you for being near to the Brokenhearted and forgiving us strength when we feel weak no matter what today brings we will trust in you we are held we are loved and we are never alone in jesus' name amen after concluding our prayer let's take a moment to

reflect on the Deep Comfort God provides in our pain let me ask you this when was a time you felt God's presence in your suffering how did he bring you comfort pain can feel overwhelming isolating and endless in those moments it's easy to wonder if God sees our struggles if he truly understands the weight we carry but scripture assures us that he is close to the Brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18 that he collects our tears in Psalm 568 and that his presence never leaves us the challenge is learning to recognize his presence even when the dark

dark nness feels thick around us take a deep breath and think about a time when God carried you through a difficult moment even if you can't see the way forward now remember that he is still walking beside you whisper a quiet Lord I trust you to carry me through this pain maybe it was a moment when peace settled over you unexpectedly in the midst of your suffering perhaps he sent someone to speak encouragement at just the right time maybe you found his presence in the quiet Stillness of Prayer in the beauty of creation or in

the comforting words of scripture however he showed himself to you let that memory be a reminder that he is still with you now now imagine yourself sitting in a quiet place burdened by the weight of your struggles your heart feels heavy your thoughts Tangled with worry fear or grief the silence around you Echoes the pain within as you sit there Jesus approaches he kneels beside you his eyes full of compassion he gently takes your hand his touch radiating warmth and reassurance looking into your eyes he speaks I see your pain my child my I am

with you you do not carry this alone his words settle into the deepest parts of your soul the burdens you've been holding on to so tightly begin to lift as if the very presence of Jesus is drawing them away you feel the warmth of his love wrapping around you like a soft Embrace bringing Comfort where there was once only sorrow you close your eyes and allow yourself to rest in his presence the weight on your chest lightens the worries in your mind quiet the pain that once felt unbearable is no longer yours to carry alone

Jesus is holding you lifting you strengthening you you are not alone you are deeply loved you are safe in his hands as you open your eyes you carry this truth with you no matter what you face today or tomorrow Jesus walks beside you his love is unwavering his presence unshakable his grace always enough take one last deep breath let gratitude rise in your heart for The Nearness of God whisper once more Lord I trust you and as you move forward may his peace go with you reminding you that you are never alone if you are
