it to your features section it's just going to look exactly like this so your clients can see it in order to do that go back to your profile scroll down to the featured section press the plus sign add content from your profile click on the Arrow near recommendations and select what you want to add and just click feature and now we're ready to make some money and there's a search filter we need to use so people actually respond and engage with us instead of ghosting but lots of people think at this point they need to
send lots of desperate spammy C messages to people that have certain keywords in their profile or live in a specific location but let me show you why this fails every time think about the last time you attended a social Gathering or a networking event you probably met somebody who on paper you should have gotten along with perfectly same job same interest same city but the vibe just wasn't there that's because all of the information I just listed and people use on LinkedIn is demographic that means it tells us nothing about the personality or values of
that individual it's like trying to find your soulmate just using their zip code so here's what to do instead understand that on LinkedIn your ideal clients are already hanging around people that they respect value and like it's like finding your favorite band's fan club and seeing all the fans that share your interest so to do this I might go to say Simon cynic profile if I'm interested in leadership in a corporate environment I click on it I'd scroll down and I would click on his post I would see who's commenting on it I'd scan the
headline there we go so let's just click on this person here and I'm found somebody that I can Target but don't stop there here's the hack that a lot of people Miss if you go to the right column you'll see more profiles for you and if you scroll and look at those it's going to give you a load of profiles that're exactly like that person so with one quick action you've got loads of qualified people passing the vibe check after this we're now ready for the next step and most people don't realize that LinkedIn actually
hides this powerful feature away when you do it to someone that has 5,000 or 10,000 followers already Their audience sees what you do and it's like borrowing their Spotlight without having to spend years of hard work building your own stage so go back to the people you just found above pull them up and look at their content go down to a recent post and hit the at Key and then tag them but here's the magic part then press the back key to delete their last name and add your thoughtful comment and the best way to
do this is not to confront them or be negative a comment structure that always works is this name I love whatever they've done I also like to then add your opinion or your coaching it gives you a chance to share your Genius whilst at the same time acknowledging theirs and not crashing into them and contradicting and now we're ready to convert this into clients in cash by borrowing a strategy from a business we all know Airbnb but not a lot of people know how Airbnb took off in just a few months in 2011 they had
a lot of competition and they were just getting started that means limited resources it means limited money and so they knew that if they just targeted everybody in the USA they would run out of money it's like throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping to see what sticks so they decided to go and find people showing interest and attention in their type of service and so they went to Craigslist and targeted people already listing properties for rent and the rest is history this is exactly what smart business owners do on LinkedIn What I've Done by
