complete self-fulfillment within the created World in response the Archangel Michael is dispatched from Heaven to safeguard and guide Humanity helping them to differentiate between good and evil truth and falsehood another instance where Archangel Michael faced the devil was was in a dispute over Moses's body in Jude 1:9 which reads but even the Archangel Michael when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said the Lord rebuke you the point Jude is making is that even an archangel like Michael when facing the devil

did not arrogantly condemn or rebuke the devil in his own authority but instead deferred to the ultimate authority of the Lord Joshua is also o believed to have encountered the Archangel Michael in Joshua 5: 13-15 which reads now when Joshua was near Jericho he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand Joshua went up to him and asked are you for us or for our enemies neither he replied but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come then Joshua fell face down

is part of a larger narrative in the Book of Daniel In this passage the Prophet Daniel had been fasting praying and seeking understanding from God during this time he had a vision of a glorious figure an Angelic being who came to him with a message this Angel is believed to be Archangel Gabriel whom we will discuss shortly Gabriel revealed that he had been dispatched to bring understanding to Daniel from God from the moment he began to pray however he had been delayed for 21 days because he had encountered resistance from the prince of the kingdom

message to Daniel part of the message Gabriel deliv delivered to Daniel Reeds at that time shall arise Michael the great prince who has charge of your people and there shall be a time of trouble such as never has been since there was a nation till that time but at that time your people shall be delivered again Michael the Angelic Warrior and protector to the rescue after delivering the message to Daniel Angel Gabriel goes further to say in Daniel 10: 20- 21 so he said do you know why I have come to you soon I will

return to fight against the Prince of Persia and when I go the prince of Greece will come but first I will tell you what is written in the book of Truth No One supports me against them except Michael your prince Gabriel tells Daniel that on the way back he will continue the battle against the Prince of Persia the angel also foretells that after his confrontation with the Prince of Persia the prince of Greece will come another powerful spiritual adversary Gabriel tells Daniel not to worry and that his support in these spiritual battles comes from Michael

who is referred to as your prince lastly in John's Revelations about the end times as described in Revelations 20 John writes then I saw an angel coming down from heaven holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain and he seized the dragon that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan and bound him for a thousand years and threw him into the pit and shut it and sealed it over him so that he might not deceive the Nations any longer until the thousand years were over based on all we
